Residential Building (Apartment / Condo)
“With sparkling crystal clear waters and a sandy ocean bottom, Napili Bay is popular amongst tourist and locals alike. This beach is within walking distance from The Ridge Villas; it is a wonderful beach for snorkeling, sunbathing, stand-up-paddling and boogie boarding. During the winter months, the swells can become pretty large, so use caution when entering the water. Napili Bay offers guests a taste of what "old Hawaii" was like. Here you will not find any large hotels or overcrowded timeshares. All accommodations on Napili Bay are small and more intimate. When visiting Napili Bay, be sure to stop at the Sea House Restaurant! The Sea House is a "must do" for Maui visitors. This iconic, open air restaurant is located just on the shoreline, and offers unrivaled views and cuisine! Be sure to order one of their famous Mai` Tais, while taking in an unforgettable sunset. Their "Happy Hour" is considered to be one of the best on the island.”

“ One of the most romantic and breathtaking locations to eat dinner is at Merriman’s, located at the point, on Kapalua Bay. Merriman`s was recently named one of the "Top 10 Travelers Choice Restaurants" in the United States by Tripadvisor. Merriman’s award winning restaurant has a farm-to-table concept, with over 90% of what you see on your plate being locally sourced. Sunday brunch is served from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and live music starts at 10 am. Merriman’s opens for dinner at 5 pm. You can also enjoy a hand crafted cocktail and “pupus” by the fire-pit on the point. There is no finer view on Maui! Look out over Kapalua Bay and enjoy what rarely fails to be a stunning sunset. Do not forget to finish the night with their signature dessert, the Waialua Chocolate Purse!”

“The Sea House Restaurant is located on Napili Beach, just a short walk from The Ridge Villas. Here, you will find one of the last “old Hawaiian” restaurants. The Sea House sits on the beach of Napili Bay, and provides an ambiance that can not be found anywhere else on the island. This charming and exotic open-air restaurant, features one of the best Happy Hours on the island, from 2 to 5 pm. Spend the day at Kapalua or Napili Bay, then head to the Sea House for some tropical drinks, pupus and live Hawaiian music. The Sea House is one of the best kept secrets on Maui.”

“ While The Gazebo has its fair share of tourists, locals seem to know the secret to dining at this oceanfront restaurant-get there early! The line can get pretty long, so we suggest getting there as early as you can. Located on the point of Napili Bay, The Gazebo is in walking distance from the villas. Open from 7:30 am to 2 pm, this nostalgic restaurant is famous for their pancakes. Try their Mac Nut Pancakes, White Chocolate Mac Nut and Banana Mac Combo. Pancakes are not the only thing they do right; everything at the Gazebo is comforting, filling and absolutely delicious! This an open-air restaurant, and there is nothing more tropical than the sensation of soft trade winds caressing your skin during your meal. With views of world famous Napili Bay and neighboring islands, the Gazebo is well worth the wait.”

Beach
“If you want to see other parts of Maui, Kapalua Bay Beach is a great place to spend a day. The water is typically calm and a great place to go snorkeling for the entire family. The parking lot is small so get there early if possible or after lunch. People stay for hours so be prepared to drop off family and stuff then hunt for parking. ”

Sushi Restaurant

“ Kapalua® is fortunate to have in its neighborhood one of the most award winning sushi restaurants in the United States. Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar has won numerous awards. Bon Appetit also named Sansei as one of its “Favorite Asian Restaurants” and one of “America’s Best Sushi Bars.” Sansei is in walking distance from the villas. It is clearly one of the most exciting dining experiences on Maui. Some of our favorite dished include the Panko-Crusted Fresh Ahi Sashimi, Shrimp Dynamite and Sansei’s Mango Crab Salad Hand Roll. Dinner is served from 5:15 pm to 10:00 pm. Early bird dinner specials continue until the last seating at 6 pm. We encourage you to arrive early if you want to make this seating. The line can get long. Late night dining is on Thursdays and Fridays, from 10 pm to 1 am. You must be twenty-one or over to get in.”

Grocery Store
“The Napili Market is located at the Napili Plaza; they sell everything offered in a typical chain grocery store. Napili Market is the nearest full service grocery store to the Resort. However, prices are on the higher side. We do recommend Napili Market for their “Maui Potato Chips.” These amazing chips are not always easy to find but Napili Market does a respectable job of keeping them in stock.”

Park
“Rated one of the best beach parks in the USA. Located directly below the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua (shares the same beach) this is a great place for boogie boarding. NOT a good place to snorkel. The current here is VERY strong. Easy public parking and a short walk to the beach make this a great place!”

“Kapalua Coastal Trail - Short beautiful walk along Oneloa Beach to Kapalua Beach. Take Highway 30 North. Left on Office Rd. Left on Lower Honoapiilani Rd. Take the first right turn and you will see about 10 parking spaces on the left. Park and walk down the stairs to the beach. ”

School
“This championship golf course was once home to the LPGA Classic, and the Lincoln-Mercury Kapalua® International. As an Arnold Palmer designed golf course, The Bay Course offers golfers some of the most beautiful fairways and views in all Hawaii. Meandering through the resort and at times bordering the Kapalua® coastline, The Bay Course is perfect for golfers of all skill levels. The 4th and 5th hole are located along the ocean, and the 5th hole provides golfers a thrilling chance to hit their ball over the bay onto the green. Better bring your snorkeling gear along just incase you do not make the shot!”

Natural Feature
“Fleming Beach is located in the Kapalua® Resort bellow the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Named America`s Best Beach in 2006, this long and wide beach features a crescent shaped shore line, with an Ironwood forest directly in the background. This beach is rarely crowded. There is enough room on the white sands to give beachgoers more than enough room. Currents can become strong, so be cautious when entering the water and pay attention to the flags. Unlike most beaches on the west side of Maui, Fleming has a life guard on duty. Public restrooms, grills and picnic tables are available for public use.”

Restaurant
“High above the Kapalua coastline in Hawaii, on the island of Maui, sits Taverna Restaurant next to the Plantation House Restaurant, a thoroughly modern blend of traditional plantation-style atmosphere, old-fashioned Hawaiian hospitality and the finest in island cuisine. Since opening in the Kapalua Resort area in 1991, The Plantation House Restaurant has earned a reputation among Maui restaurants for serving innovative cuisine in a picturesque setting with breathtaking views. The restaurant is proof that fine dining can indeed blend well with Maui's casual island style. Great for Mother's or Father's day brunch.”
