A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It is set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks straight from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the bothy has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons this may not be the place for you!

The old schoolhouse (built in 1866) has loads of character and feels remote and quiet despite being well situated just off the main Banff/Huntly road. Banff is about 5 minutes drive.
