This place is so awesome! It is perfect if you need a quick trip out of town away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You get to enjoy the sounds of the surrounding farm animals and that's about it. It's definitely a peaceful, quiet spot. There's one bedroom, but a few air mattresses if you need them. The floor plan is open and spacious. We will definitely be back.

Clean, Cozy and Cute with Gracious hosts. A good base to explore the property, Bonham State Park and Caddo Grasslands Park. Dark skies for stargazing and friendly horses to pet. Perfect for the 2 adults and my 10 year old son. TV, WiFi etc available but not needed with enjoying the outdoors. Loved it!!!

I loved this secluded cabin! It offered a relaxing time to enjoy star gazing on the front porch, a get away from city life and I made smores in the fire pit and grilled steaks on the grill. The host provided great coffee brands in the cabin which was important to me. The cabin was nice and clean and for a special touch provided homemade soaps. I loved it and will return for sure!

This place is perfectly cozy. I wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what I got. The location is perfect with tons of natural sounds and the night sky was absolutely amazing. I will be returning!!

Chris is an amazing host! He is respectful, kind, and helpful about the area and the amenities that are offered. The cottage was clean, well equipped with kitchen essentials, comfortable and safe. The combination lock to get in was easy to access entry. The animals there were wonderful to look at and the porch was nice to sit on and just relax to the serenity of the surroundings. It was a nice country adventure and we even attended the local rodeo! The area is in an older town with much character and a feeling of relaxation. I didn't want to go home!

Chris was a very hospitable host and we enjoyed staying in his place!

Everything was just wonderful!! Great house! Big, open space. Bedrooms are really nice. Large master bathroom. Kitchen has just about everything and anything you could need. Loved meeting Chris and his sweet herd of animals! Our girls really enjoyed seeing the animals every day. And petting them! Chris is a wonderful host and we'd love to come back!!

It's a Haven of Rest And all I can say is you better get it while it's at this rate, because it definitely is worth so much more and will not be at this rate for long. A small gem a few miles south of Sulphur Springs, the “garden” is so large I did not even have time to explore it all, quiet and secluded but with easy access to the state road. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything one needs, good WiFi, great shower. Mary’s communication before the stay was top-notch. If I were to return in the area I would definitely try to stay there again!

Perfect! If you are looking to getaway from the city and just relax, this is the place to go. Wine under the stars 🤩😍, I was really amazed by The Half Lady. Mary really thought about everything, she is very sweet and easy to communicate with. We will definitely go back.

Great place for a weekend getaway, especially for groups or families. I stayed by myself and there was plenty of space for several more guests to be very comfortable. Loved the property. It was very spacious and great for being out in nature. There is very little to no light pollution, so stargazing was excellent late at night. The host was also very accommodating, responsive, and friendly. The cookies she left out for my arrival were absolutely wonderful. Do not hesitate to eat them all. ❤️ I will note to bring a lighted makeup mirror for anyone wanting to do their make up in the morning or fix their hair as there was not a great place for that. The refrigerator was more than adequate, and I loved the layout overall. Would definitely recommend!

Very quiet and picturesque setting off the beaten path. I loved the fire pit area where you have a great view of the sunset. The house itself is super spacious and very clean. I had limited cell signal in this area (could vary by provider) and the host asks not to stream on the wifi so if you're traveling through I would recommend having some entertainment downloaded beforehand. The lighting is the only thing I had difficulty with, the common areas are very well lit and have comfortable seating, however, the bedrooms and bathroom are dimly lit by floor lamps and desk lamps. The shower is simply dark with the current lighting when it's dark outside. To be clear, I still rated this place 5 stars based on value, cleanliness, and comfort but you should be aware when booking this that if you have a problem with this or limited sight you should ask the host for options. Overall I would stay here again.

I was able to stay here for two work weeks in a row. The place was clean comfortable and spacious. This was by far a much better option than any local hotel; peacful, quiet and close to everything.

Lydia's "★ Quiet Country Get Away Space to Work/ Play ✿♡" was just perfect for my work trip. The location is great, just 5 minutes from Majors Airport/L3. It's quiet and peaceful, much more relaxing than any hotel. Having a fully stocked kitchen is great too. There is everything you need to prepare a quick breakfast before work or heat up supper when you get back. There is plenty of room in the fridge for everything you need and storage for other items too. There is a full counter area with three or four stools as well as a four-person dining table that offers plenty of room to get some work done too. The internet (Wi-Fi) is very fast. The bed and couch are very comfortable. The bedding and pillows are high end/luxurious and I think I slept better there than at home. All in all, everything was spotless, well kept, and tastefully done. Very comfortable and I'm looking forward to staying there next week.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Lydia's old time cottage which was immaculately clean and well appointed. We were grateful for the amenities which included coffees, teas, and cookie packets, along with take along coffee cups and lids. The tall King-size bed was very comfortable with what looked like new bedding. We were impressed that she caters to little children too, by the books and toys that were available. It looked like 4 could sleep comfortably, as there were 2 additional mattresses under the big bed. In the middle of the room there is a comfy couch and coffee table facing the TV. Entering the cottage and to the left and clockwise was an old fashion wood stove in the first corner, the bed in the next corner, the TV on the wall with a shelf and desk below, the nice kitchen (well stocked with pans and utensils) in the next corner and lastly, the dining area with round table and 4 chairs. The wide outer kitchen counter also has stools to sit on. The bathroom was behind the kitchen with new sink, commode and shower. Lydia provides two heaters that kept us warm during the cold, rainy weather. If it had been nice out, we would have swung in her double porch swing. There was also a desk with a guest book to leave a nice note of "thank you" to Lydia. We loved staying there and plan to stay again when we are passing through to San Antonio again.

Lydia’s place is enjoyable, comfortable and had everything you need. We stayed two nights for a birthday getaway for my wife. Lydia answered my questions quickly and everything went great. We hope to return soon.

This is the most amazing location and place to stay. I so enjoy my stays here. The birds, the clouds drifting by, the leaves gently floating to the ground and the sounds of the croaks from the woods at night. Peaceful, serene, quiet, just amazing! Skip the hotel and come here! This is absolutely the best place to stay in Greenville. The pictures don't do it justice. There's a pool, hot tub, and sauna. Well worth it!

This was the perfect stay for my husband & myself. This little house has everything you could possibly want or need. It still has that new feel & sparkling clean!!! Great cabin feel and location for a getaway from the city. There were board games and dvds for the kids to enjoy. We also enjoyed grilling, using the firepit for smores, and walking around the peaceful property. We did NOT want to leave! Thanks Laurie!

Took my 10 year-old Grandson for a short overnight trip to the country. We fished, built a campfire, made Samoa's, played a board game and had great fun. By the way, he caught five fish and I caught none.

Unfortunately, I could only stay one night. I would love to be there a week for an R and R vacay. This cabin is great for a person who can appreciate all the effort that is put in to create an atmosphere that creates an experience. I felt very at home there. My friend and I met there to spend a day together because we no longer live in the same state. It felt as if we were visiting at each others home ,it was so comfortable. Its a beautiful part of Texas

The Number Please is a lovely and quaint home with all amenities we needed. Love the history of the place which coordinated with the theme. Although out of the hosts control, did not like the cat paw prints all on my car hood in morning. Could not get the window ACs to cool enough at night. Bedroom unit kept shutting off. Probably user error and no reflection on host.

This place is a perfect, quiet, peaceful place to stay perfectly located in the country but close to any city you need to go to. Samantha, the host, was very quick to reply and made everything very easy. A very good overall experience on every front.

Excellent hospitality and accommodations! I needed a place to work remotely for a week between two social events in the area, and Andy & Christi’s place was perfect — I think the wifi was faster than the network connection in my office. They were also very kind and gracious hosts with a lovely home. I rented the entire upstairs for a very reasonable price, so I had one room for working and another for sleeping. Also, Sulphur Springs is a very neat little town — I could walk to the square, which has several nice dining options. Highly recommended!

This was the perfect place for our families to meet between Missouri and Texas! The land is beautiful and quiet and a great time for a secluded getaway. It was perfect for our kids; they had room to play outside, fish and even a playground and toys to enjoy! My husband had a wonderful time fishing and relaxing down at the pond.

Pecan Ridge is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle, whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or time with friends and family. The square in Bonham has restaurants, cute little boutiques and antique shops. Lori and Jodie are always available if needed!

This was a wonderful experience for our family. The playground gave a place for the littles to run and play and get out some of the pent up energy from an 8 hour drive. There was plenty of room for adults to sit and talk and reminisce. Would definitely do this again. Host were wonderful with instructions and getting back to us with any questions.

My stay at Leslie’s place was amazing. She was so lovely and helpful, and made my summer stay there comfortable and homely. Has a nice large kitchen for you to cook in and a dining area where the house cat Jen will accompany you and beg for scratches once in awhile! Definitely would recommend to stay here!

Leslie's very clean, well decorated and commodious space is far above what I have experienced in many previous airbnb stays. She has thoughtfully provided everything one needs for an exceptional stop over on the road. The bed, kitchen and facilities are clean, well equipped and she is a very welcoming host.... even quickly offered to bring my luggage in to the house. I will definitely return when I pass through the area and look forward to spending a bit more time with her, the black doggy and maybe seeing the horses.

To get to the loft, you climb a spiral stairway to enter a dining room, full kitchen, one bedroom, and bath. There is also a very nice patio off the dining room. The price for this space is more than reasonable, and everything has been updated. I will visit again.

The guest house is very welcoming, with great attention to detail and nice little touches to make your stay extra special. It was very comfortable, clean, and the view is spectacular. Although we didn’t borrow a movie, I was amazed at the selection (400+ titles!) A nice touch was the available yoga mat, and I was happy to get some yoga in during our relaxing morning. We will definitely return when we need a weekend getaway!

I came here solo (with my dog) so I could get away from city life for an evening and just have a peaceful, scenic night. This Airbnb was such a magnificent choice for that! There are so many amenities (for example I had a nice cup of coffee from the keurig during my stay) and the instructions for using the place are exceptionally clear- all remotes and light switches are clearly labeled. This place also comes stocked up with games, books, and a fire pit outside - it’s truly a wonderful getaway and I’d recommend it whether you’re traveling with a friend or solo!

The place felt like home. The lake was perfect to fish from the dock - the yard was great to throw a football around in - it was quiet and a perfect place to see our grandkids.

This is a great location on the lake with a huge porch where you can view the lake, dock a boat or just fish. The house is well taken care of and a place we will use again when we have a family event in this area.

It was great to have all the conveniences of home while enjoying the stunning view of the lake. The house was nicely stalked with the basic as and much much more! This is a place to experience genuine hospitality! Laura and her husband Victor are more than accomodating, going above and beyone to male sure their guests feel better than at home! They are very great fun, providing a fun telaxed environment while making sure you are enjoying your stay. Laura is a fantastic cook! She also foes catering and their multiple venues will host events of all sizes! This place is a must stay to experienceone of your most memorable vacations/events ever!

Amazing hospitality, made us feel right at home

An amazing stay! Going into the stay with no reviews I was hesitant, but we gave it a try after a few messages back and forth with Laura. We were blown away! This was our first stop on a road trip from Wisconsin to SPI and it was the perfect stop to allow our three kiddos to run off energy! We enjoyed several conversations with Laura and Victor over meals they prepared for us. We found out they just bought the property earlier in the month and yet their hospitality was outstanding! We are so excited to see their dream for the property turn into a reality. Windy Hill Ranch is perfect for families, weddings, large gatherings...you won't be disappointed! A peaceful country property with all you will need for your stay. 💕
