Great location, this would be great for families. We loved that they had beach towels we could use, so we didn't have to pack our own. Never had to worry about parking since we had a designated spot. And it was very clean. Not far from any of the beaches either!

The Avenue Beach House is a wonderful place to get away for a little while and revel in the beach life. Though this place is residential, it's two blocks from the beach and is minutes away from restaurants, grocery and other retail by car. For those not wanting to drive there's a trolley system or bike rentals available. The traffic on the island has a healthy respect for both peds and bikes. I would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful home! Pictures don't do it justice. Really comfortable stay, nice decor, very clean. Debra was quick to respond to all of my questions. Would definitely stay here again! Only negative is having to cross the street to the beach, but people were very nice about stopping to let us cross every time. Enjoyed the spa and provided beach gear!

This place is a gem!!! Debra nailed it when it came to meeting our needs. The unit is updated, SO clean and she went above and beyond by even letting us use a pack and play and stroller for our 11 month old :) literally steps from the beach and in a great location. I never write reviews but this place is worth it. The pictures don't do it justice.

We booked the trip to Las Palmas the day before arrival and Debra responded instantly! The house was perfect for the four of us, two adults, a five year old and a baby of 10 months. Debra saw to all our needs and was very helpful during our stay. The location is great, only steps from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend Las Palmas without any hesitation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was awesome. The living space was large, the bedrooms were spacious and all the décor as so nice! It felt cozy and was clean. We enjoyed all we could for the short time we had to spend there. It had everything you could need for the beach. Even set up for small children! The annex was superb - absolutely 5*. Very nicely decorated, space used extremely well; it was the perfect place for us to stay for a few nights. I cannot fault it at all and would absolutely recommend it to any of my friends. The beach is only a few steps from the beach and Andrew very kindly lent us his bikes to explore the island a little. Andrew as a host was spot on - welcomed us to the apartment and recommended local places to eat; very kind and friendly. The beach as well was stunning - one of Florida's finest!

I loved staying here! The location is perfect. You're right across from Bradenton Beach and next to tons of restaurants. The place includes lots of things that you'll need, and it saves you time and money. For instance, the place includes beach umbrellas, mats, cart, and towels- everything you need for staying out on the beach including umbrellas for the thunderstorms! The internet is funky, but that is consistent with the island, so you might want to bring DVDs rather than depend on Netflix. The area felt safe too. If you're planning on cooking, you might want to buy the spices you will need or bring some for recipes. You'll also need to supply your own laundry detergent and quarters for the machines. I am very pleased with my stay

Sheila's place was great! Very cute and comfortable. Sheila and her family was very helpful and nice. They let us use their the washer and drier and pick some of their star fruit, which was delicious and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay there. It has everything you need for cooking and going to the beach. I would recommend this place.

Sheila epitomizes the Airbnb experience. The place is charming with decorator touches everywhere. She not only brought us fresh ground coffee, but she had fresh cream from an organic farm that week as well. The place is upstairs and she was happy to carry our bags. A plus, in a neighborhood close to the Ringling Museum, and a short drive to downtown Sarasota. Perfect stay.

sheila's cozy, old-fashioned apt. has all the modern needs and thoughtful touches for comfort..the neighborhood is quiet, with a quick ride to sarasota's great downtown area and beaches--the apt. is very clean, comfy and unique--we loved it and would recommend it highly!

The apt was described well in the listing. A great value. We felt comfortable and it was private. It's about a 15 min drive to Lido Key and 25 min drive to Siesta Key which is what we came to Florida for (beaches).

This is a great place, at a fantastic location, with great views, things to do, and central to the island. Close enough to accessible, and far enough away to forget your worries. Absolutely recommend this place. Randy goes out of his way to make the stay relaxing and engaging.

We chose to look for a place over Memorial weekend on a spur of the moment whim & could not have been more pleased with the place we chose. Between Randy & the property manager, everything was as easy as you'd want in regards to letting ourselves in, instructions on where to find things & how to leave everything when we left. The house itself truly is steps from the beach & we had plenty of beach chairs, coolers, toys, towels, etc at our disposal. There are restaurants to the left & right of the house & and plenty of fun nightlife/entertainment places to go to, too. We have been to AMI at least 7 or 8 times before & never have been able to walk every where like we could this weekend. The duplex itself has all the accommodations you would need & is more spacious than the pictures reflect. Overall, great experience; we hope to be back!

This is an exceptionally clean and nice place. The location, although on a busy intersection was within 600' of two of the most popular restaurants on Anna Maria island. The beautiful beach is even closer. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is very clean and well kept with all the necessities you would need in a home and for the beach . We really enjoyed our stay . We would recommend it to anybody good for couples and a small family of four.

Don't pass up this cute studio. Lorrie has a very private and cute place that is comfortable and stocked with all your necessities. Kitchenette is great and well stocked, the shower wonderful, and the room private. Why stay at a hotel when you have a great one in Bayshore Gardens.

I did not get the opportunity to personally meet Lorrie during my stay, but she was always very attentive and courteous (via text messages) making sure everything was all right.

Myself and my gf spent 3 nights at Lorrie's place. It was a last-minute tentative of finding an entire place in a more than average expensive location in the East Coast. The apartment was great with a huge private garden to relax after all day on the beach. The location is 20mins away driving from Anna Maria Island, one of the most old Florida spots of these times. Restaurants, shops and coffee shops are 5mins walking distance. Private parking, clean apartment and privacy. We'll definitely come back!

This was a last-minute trip I made alone. Lorrie graciously accommodated me without hesitation. She sent me the access codes to the unit early, although, I arrived a few hours later due to traffic. I was exhausted from the holiday excitement and just needed to rest. It was perfect for me. I've been to Bradenton about a dozen times. It was nice to do long day-trips and have a quiet place to come to even very late. The private entrance was perfect as I don't like to cause lots of commotion during my coming's and going's. The bunglow was perfectly suited for my needs. Lorrie provided everything I needed to be comfortable. After being at the beach and in the sun, I enjoyed resting quietly while they were at work. Later, out in Tampa or in Sarasota, I felt like my things were safe and secure. Never an issue during the nights I was there. It was well worth it.

We had a great week in Anna Maria Island. The cottage is very pretty and decorated with love. It offers everything you needfor a good beach week. Deanna was very nice and caring and always fun to talk to. The location is also great, with sunrise view over the pier (with a baby you get to see sunrises again :-) ), the beach just around the corner and some good restaurants very close by. I would highly recommand the place!

This was our fist Airbandb experience, and the comfy cottage at The Rush Inn was perfectly quaint and romantic for our honeymoon. We were in waking distance to the beach and the local restaurants. Deanna was awesome! Exactly as you hope your hostess will be....cool, fun, available when needed. The neighborhood was in the middle of it all. Breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset out the windows or down any street. Cute tiki bars just a block away as well as convenience store and ice cream shops...and the amazing Blue Marlin restaurant. Love love love this place.

We spent four nights in the cottage. This was the cutest place I have ever been! The check-in process was simple. They were there to greet us and let us know where the laundry/etc was. This cottage had everything we needed - outdoor shaded dining area, hose for hosing off sand, beach chairs, umbrellas, floaties. It was decorated very tastefully. Air conditioning was so easy to control. Very short walk to the beach. The cottage was so clean. I loved everything about it!

Our seven-day stay on Anna Maria Iceland was very relaxing and relaxed thanks to the very beautiful and luxuriously appointed accommodation. Plenty of room and especially a powerful WiFi increased the comfort factor for my teenage kids immensely. Short ways to the sea, the shopping and the opposite Eisladen make the apartment an ideal location. However, since the nature of the adjacent mangrove area is not too short should not be dispensed with further protection in spite of the completely insectproof balconies. To emphasize is still the fast and flexible response to our spontaneous planning change of the Lessor. Full marks from us for apartment, location and landlady.

This condo's location is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay very much! The private view off of the southern balcony was truly a treat for writing, resting, and just enjoying the Florida blue sky. The condo was clean, spacious, and comfortable and had everything we needed. The pictures show it very accurately. The owners provide a nice handbook with all of the information about the condo itself, as well as info about activities on the island. Just across the street is a Publix grocery store and a CVS pharmacy; very convenient! There is a beautiful beach just a short walk away (3 blocks and much simpler if you walk just south of the shopping center and down a side street). It was especially nice to have our own carport. There is even a gas station less than a mile away. We rented bikes and enjoyed seeing more of the island that way, as the main road did have a lot of traffic. We had a mishap with the keys, and the owners took care of it once they were notified. However, I was not a fan of the way the property managers handled it since we lost an entire evening of our vacation, waiting hours for resolution. Glad that we were able to resolve this for future guests, but be aware that if there is an emergency, you may not be able to rely on the property management office to resolve. All in all a great stay, and I look forward to a return trip!

Excellent location (10 minute walk to the beach), close to everything. The condo is well equipped including umbrellas, chair and toys for the kids to be used on the beach. The pool is also very nice. Overall, it was a great vacation on Anna Maria Island!

Unit B is clean and adequately furnished. Bed is comfortable. Owner is easy to work with. Unit shares a pool with Unit A and quite susceptible to noise from pool parties. That was a late night issue during our visit but may not be the case for others depending on who is in Unit A.

This place was good for a visit to bradenton. Good neighbourhood and pool. Felt secure and safe. Decor could use a bit of updating but other than that-good!

This property was great with loads of outdoor space... and we had it all to ourselves. The mother-in-law suite is simple, but very clean and spacious with lots of closet space, dining area, and even a stackable washer and dryer. It's about a 10 minute drive to Ana Maria Island and very close to all the amenities in town. I will definitely stay here again.

I had a very pleasant week at Terry's airbnb. It's situated right on a beautiful park overlooking the bay. It's quiet and peaceful, but close to Tamiami Trail and a quick drive from downtown. The room itself is cozy and well-decorated, a perfect relaxing home base. I really appreciated the sunscreen in the bathroom, since I ran out of mine earlier... Terry and his wife were very accommodating and responsive. I had a lovely stay.

Beautiful quite neighborhood, steps from a tiny lagoon connected to the Bay. Near the Ringling Museum/grounds which are beautiful. Not as easy to get around without a car, but Uber's into town were $8-12 which as great. Clean, simple, nice deck with table/chairs for breakfast/dinners when weather allows.

Terry's place was perfect for us. Beautiful, perfect location, and it had everything you would want. Best sunsets ever in Sarasota Terry offered us beach chairs, towels and umbrella. He was very gracious in all of our interactions. I would strongly recommend anyone going to Sarasota to stay either here or somewhere in the area. Beautiful area. And the apartment was cozy and perfectly equipped for beach or business too!

Great cozy, relaxing and clean place! As others said they provide you with everything and I really mean everything you need for a great beach stay at Ana Maria Island! The beach is very close to it, just a very little walk and you are right at the white sand beach! It is a great place to stay and the host is a great person to meet. I greatly recommend it!

I can't enough good things about Peter and the Cozy Cottage! He was in touch with us in the days leading up to the trip, and during the trip. He even arranged for roses to be in the room as requested. The place was very clean and in a perfect spot, and the a/c worked great! We will definitely stay again.

Peter & Darlene made us feel very welcome and special. They went as far as having a "Happy Anniversary" sign for us and presented us with a gift for our special occasion. Peter was responsive from the beginning, always answering our queries immediately. Plus he was there to great us and show us around. The bungalow appears to be new or nearly so. Everything is very clean and everything works. All towels, sheets and appliances are new. The bungalow is not on the beach but very close. The house provides beach chairs etc.

First time booking via AirBnB and everything exceeded our expectations. Hosts Peter & wife were amazing, respectful and extremely helpful. They made themselves available and were extremely flexible. Their house was beautifully decorated and made us feel relaxed. The sun porch was an amazing cozy place to read a book at end of day or sip coffee in the early morning before hitting the beach. The place was very clean and neatly organized and well stocked with all the basics, they even had beach chairs, umbrella and a very useful beach wagon for the quick less then five minute walk to the beach. We loved the beach and will make their house our top pick for our next vacation to AMI

In one word: perfect! The check in was super easy and the communication with Peter was fast. The apartment is beautiful. You have a big living room and a cute bed room with a queen size bed. The kitchen has got everything you need to cook. This was a pleasure for us after 2 weeks of restaurant food. The lanai was so beautiful. Really big, nice cute lights and comfortable chairs to sit. Even though the Nelsons live in the same house, you have completely your privacy with an own driveway and entrance. The really cool thing is that it's a 5min walk to the beautiful beach!!!!! This place is really something unique! Peter and his wife are super hosts. They were so super nice and welcoming to us. They and their apartment made our stay perfect!

I looked for a place that was convenient to the beach, and like home without the hotel 'feel'. This location exceeded my expectations on all levels!

Michael's place was awesome. His home is beautiful. Everything we needed was there. The house was beyond clean and well taken care of. It is an easy walk to the beach. It took us about two minutes to get there. It is also very close to restaurants. The location is great. The pool and spa where quite refreshing and fantastic to have on site. As far as Michael goes I could write pages of great things about him but I will keep it simple. He is simply a good person. Michael is one of those rare people who actually cares.
