  • Janie is a fantastic host, the room and hot tub were amazing.

    Ryan2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Janie the host was wonderful and the place really needs to be experienced. I can't recommend it enough. We loved it..

    Kate2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Had a terrific stay! Loved the place and Janie is a very respectful host.

    Jack2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, would recommend to anyone, just bear in mind you do have to step outside for a second after having a shower before getting back into the room so if you are staying in the winter months it may be worth bringing a thick dressing gown or something similar. The room was comfortable, clean, and unique, and the hot tub is a great bonus!

    Zaeed2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here for valentines day and couldn’t of chosen a better place. The cabin is beautiful and very cozy. Hot tub and log burner was amazing and just completes the experience. Very close to alot of local attractions e.g Glastonbury and Wells. The host Janie couldn’t of been nicer or more helpful , gave us a tour of the place then left us to our privacy , however we never felt like we couldn’t contact her for advice no matter the time. All in all a great place to escape from the world for a few days.😊

    Glenna2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very well put together and stylish cosy cabin. Hot tub on a cold evening in February was truly wonderful. Host was easy to get along with, helpful and full of local tips but also gave us plenty of space to feel private. Great stay.

    Emma2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely little gem only a stone's throw away from Glastonbury. The ideal location to unwind and relax with a great host and use of the hot tub and treatments. A must return.

  • Fabulous cottage in a beautiful village with fantastic shops and places to eat. Would highly recommend this perfect little cottage.

    Sally2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cottage in the middle of Wedmore, 13 minute drive from Cheddar Gorge which was also amazing! Holly Tree Barn was the perfect place to come home to after a long day and was very picturesque!

    Chantal2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place! Very clean and cosy :)))

    Rose2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for one night and we couldn't fault it. The converted barn was stunning, full of character and very warm and cosy. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking our evening meal. It was in a very pretty, quiet spot and waking up to birdsong was really nice. Shame it wasn't the weather to sit in the cute little outside space. All in all a little gem!

  • Weve stayed at 2 of Mel,s properties now and both are as excellent as each other . They are clean , comfy and have everything you need . We even cooked a lovely roast dinner whilst we were there . Mel has thought of all the welcoming and practical things and the cottages are to such a high standard that it is a pleasure to stay...we will definitely be back ..and maybe try the third cottage next time too . Thank you mel for being such a brilliant host and your communication with us along the way has been excellent .

    Allyson2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay in this cottage. Try table 8 for a meal in evening. This is a 5 minute walk. Also we went to the pub Sheppy inn (10 min drive) and wanted a roast dinner as looked amazing however they were fully booked. So recommend to pre book if you vist as they also have. A live band some evenings we will be returning.

Beautiful house and cottages in the heart of Somerset Countryside, stunning views of Mendip Hills & Cheddar. 6 bed home and two, 2 bed cottages, with 7 bathrooms altogether, sleeps 26 in total. The cottages are just a few yards from the main farmhouse, linked by a large patio. 11 acres of space, large play area.
We offer a large, secure farmhouse and two, 2 bedroomed cottages with grounds , totalling approx. 11 acres, that are accessed through an electric wooden gate, making it totally safe and private. The house and cottages are part of the total booking. The farmhouse sleeps 18 and has six bedrooms, each of the cottages have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeping four guests each. Bedrooms 5 and 6 are what we call secret rooms and are behind small doors and have very steep stairs (not suitable for young children or people with mobility issues). There is a huge parking area and two large fields. We have a helicopter pad, should this be your preferred method of transport!! Please note that price quoted is for large house and 2, two bedroomed cottages.
Tranquility is the word that best describes Box Farm. the moment the electric gates open and the view is there in front of you, it dawns on you that you have entered into a rural ideal.
  • Box Farm is the perfect place for a reunion! We had a fantastic weekend celebrating a surprise 25th birthday, the house and cottages were perfect and had literally everything we needed - we particularly loved the snug with the warm fire! Supermarkets and the train station (highbridge) were only a short 20minute drive away with lots of direct trains from London and Bristol making it easy for many of the group! We had a warm welcome from Eve's friend Martin who kindly recommended we visit lands end (wilkies) farm for cider tasting - its was the highlight of the weekend for us all! Only a 25min walk along the country road to plenty of delicious cider, Apple juice and cheese for just £10 a head! And Roger Wilkins kept us all entertained with his many stories - including how he got a Banksy on his farm. We all can't wait to plan our next reunion and hope to return to Box Farm together again soon!

    Serina2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This house is brilliant! Huge living room for everyone to congregate in, two separate cottages for people who want to have a early night. Really affordable price, great directions to find the place, it’s quirky and has lots of character and is super clean.

    Emma2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Box Farm is incredible. We had it for a combined 30th birthday and New Years celebration, and we couldn’t have had a better place. 24 of us were super comfortable in the space, perfect for a mix of couples in double rooms and singles in the group rooms. Lounge and kitchen were fantastic, dining room had room for us all, the Sonos and Soundsystem were excellent. Nothing was missing. Eve was fantastic with communicating, helped us out with finding the local clay shooting ground and more. Martin checked us in, took me for a whole guided tour and we had his number in case we needed anything. Honestly cannot rate this place highly enough - just the most fantastic time had by all.

    Jamie2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house and two excellent modern cottages. The pictures don’t do it justice. We had a big group who had a lovely time exploring the house and local area. WiFi, stereo and sonos system were useful. Kitchen is well set up. The heating is effective. Great check in with Martin who was a real gent. There’s so many little things to discover in the house from the art, to the train carriage. It was a special stay.

    Adam2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • The house was great, the cottages were awesome, they were kitted out to such a high standard, both with kitchen and living space. We loved all the quirky features and the hidden rooms in the main house. The weather held for us and we managed to use the space outside, including the sheltered fire pit. The group are already arranging to meet again next year and this house was the catalyst for that. Thanks!

    Nick2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Eve’s property was perfect for our large gathering to celebrate a 90th birthday. There were things of interest to see and do for young and old. The field was perfect for football etc., the fire pit ideal for playing games of Werewolf around, the house quirky and full of interesting artifacts and the barbecue great for outside dining. We had a wonderful weekend.

    Nick2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous property in the countryside whilst still close to the beach. Easily enough space for all 26 people and was clean and well equipped. Lots of interesting features to the house including some of the bedrooms! Thanks to Eve and Martin for all their help.

    Stephen2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place full of character, characters, artefacts, collectibles and humour. Fantastic outside space nd facilities. More than enough beds and the cottages are fantastic. Super host, with very fast responses and excellent staff working for the property. Thanks very much indeed.

  • We had a delightful time ... and it was my first ever Air B&B! ... it was all fabulous... Beautiful home in a stunning location... Kim has created a much appreciated wee slice of heaven...

    Angela2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Communication with Kim was first class from start to finish. Finding the farmhouse was very simple indeed, is nice and secluded, and lovely setting. White Hart Farm has a lovely country farmhouse feel to it, is exceptionally clean and tidy, and has all the amenities you need. Bedrooms are nice and beds comfy, nice big TV in the living room area, with plenty of DVD's to choose from. Personal touches were most appreciated, with fresh flowers around the house, gorgeous fresh eggs, butter, jam, and a great array of teas and coffees. Local pub, 10/15mins walk down the road is The Sheppy Inn, does great food, and a superb selection of wines, craft beers, and of course, lots of ciders. Top place to visit. Thanks for a great stay Kim, we all absolutely felt at home. Cheers.

    Roy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

  • A wonderful stay in the countryside just a stone’s throw away from the lovely city of Wells with all its local attractions. Property is well presented with modern amenities and a very comfy sofa and large tv for relaxing at the end of the day. Good selection of dvds and board games to keep you entertained on rainy days and a well stocked selection of teas and coffee. Host was always available to answer any questions and was super flexible around our young family requirements. Thank you for a lovely relaxing break, just what we needed!

This is a light and airy first floor apartment with a roof terrace.
The property couldn't be more central ~ it's right in the heart of town only a stones throw from the Abbey, shops and cafes. As it is so central there is no private parking with the property, however there is free on road parking further down the street.

Spacious loft conversion bedroom with the scope to offer accommodation for 1-4 people, with the option of two double futons or one double futon and a sofa. I think that four adults would find it cosy, but great for two adults and two children. There's the option to be able to use the kitchen dining room. It is a lovely airy space, with great views. We are well positioned with easy access to Glastonbury, Wells, the Somerset Levels for the nature reserves, Cheddar Gorge and the M5/A303.
Fantastic locality close to a wide range of eclectic activities. Beautiful spacious room, even with four people staying in it, with great views.
The variety of different things to see and do; historic town of Wells, esoteric Glastonbury, huge range of nature reserves and walking opportunities, Clarks Village for retail therapy on the cheap!
  • Kirsten was a great host, everything was very clean and tidy. Would definitely come back.

    Richard2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Kirsten's attic room in her family house is cosy, offering extra blankets and pillows, as well as a kettle; tea, coffee and sugar are provided as well as some house warming snacks to keep you going - very thoughtful! Linens and towels are provided, as well as wifi and an impressive bookshelf of books. Kirsten is a thoughtful host and the family have a cute black cat called Mojo. Easily accessible to Street high street and the rest of the Somerset area.

  • Kirsten and her family were so friendly and accommodating. Very cosy space and use of facilities. Would definitely recommend :)

    Leona2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great value! I just slept the night and left early but Kirsten was quick at communicating and accommodated me last minute (and late!). Tea and coffee in the room as well as a chocolate and fruit. Attic apartment so a couple flights of stairs was a good workout, and a shared bathroom was good enough for one quick night. So hospitable, thanks again Kirsten. Highly recommend

    Angela2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very cosy room, very welcoming host, most helpful with a last-minute booking and a late-night arrival. Blackout blinds made the room wonderfully dark. Playful cat a great addition. Would definitely recommend.

  • Cozy place, very close to Glastonbury. Kirsten is a very kind host.

    Alicia2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Kirsten’s space is a very comfortable attic room in a family house with everything that you’d need for a stay. My visit was very short but during this time Kirsten was a very welcoming and accommodating host. The town of Street is located in a beautiful area of the country and even though I was only passing through, I’d recommend staying here if you want a place with a welcoming homestay feel.

A newly renovated space providing comfortable and modern accommodation. Come and enjoy Littlemead at Chapel Farm and enjoy our space, explore the surrounding RSPB nature reserves, Wells, Glastonbury and you must sample some local Scrumpy! A great little haven from which to explore Somerset.
Enjoy a little of rural Somerset life. Stay in an old barn newly renovated! Ask to see the photo album - it really was tough creating this space... Sample apples fresh from the orchard and take a stroll down the paddock to the River Brue where plenty of wildlife and waterfowl can be seen. Collect your own fresh eggs from our feathered friends.
Enjoy the peace and quiet of being in a rural Somerset village where the gardens and paddock lead to the Somerset Levels and panoramic views of the Mendip hills.
  • Absolutely perfect. I highly suggest staying here! The space was ideal, the hosts were delightful, and the land and evening walk was just what I needed. Fully self-contained but the hosts were nearby for anything needed. Beautiful stay. Thanks and will return!

  • Good, friendly host. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Excellent directions with pictures makes it easy to find this lovely hideaway. Perfectly placed for access to RSPB and other reserves. We were rewarded with great sightings of the 1/2 million starling murmurations and 20 of the rare cranes. We will be back!

    Stephen2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was a real gem to find for us. Perfect for all the RSPB and nature reserves we wanted to see and everything we needed. The extra touches of bread, milk etc were really appreciated. The freshly laid eggs were delicious.

    Emma2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Wish we were there for more than one night! Lovely place to stay.

    Maisie2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • We can’t recommend Littlemead highly enough. Our only regret is that we had booked this for a one night stopover to break our (otherwise) tedious journey home. We were very tired and it was lovely to be in such a beautiful and peaceful location with everything that we needed to be exceptionally comfortable. We loved the eggs too. When we are next in the area we will be checking availability of Littlemead first as this will definitely be our preference! Thank you Martin & Sarah for such a lovely, clean and well appointed stay.

  • We absolutely loved Daisy Chains. The communication with Nigel from start to finish was speedy and super informative and we ate in 2 of his recommendations Bird in hand at Westhay and Who'd of thought it in town, which were superb. Daisy chains was immaculate and had everything we could need. The little touches and food extras were useful and even a birthday card and prosecco for me! The location was perfect and was a small 10 min drive to Glastonbury centre which suited us. This is a special little place that is homely and has a lovely energy. We will always stay here when we come back to visit. Thanks Nigel!

A beautiful place to stay in a beautiful part of the country! Thanks Nigel :)

  • Staying at Nigel's delightful cottage was wonderful. It was more like staying at a friend's house, than an air bnb, because Nigel was so helpful and communicative. The house is right next to an amazing place to see the murmurations, which was a highlight of our trip. Thank you Nigel, a lovely weekend stay.

    Emily2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This sparkling clean, well fitted cottage was perfectly situated for accessing all three reserves and we had a great weekend watching the Starling murmmerations, listening to Bittern, spotting Marsh Harriers & Greater Egrets. Nigel was a responsive and thoughtful host. The local pub, The Bird in Hand mustn't be judged by the exterior, the service & food were great, best to book.

    Jane2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, clean and very comfortable cottage located on the Avalon Marches - perfect for enjoying the nature reserves, hear the Bitterns and see the murmurations, as well as exploring Glastonbury and Wells. We really enjoyed it and recommend highly.

  • Nigel is a superb host. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was exactly as described. Very clean, comfortable and cosy on a cold February evening. Extremely well equipped and treats left were very welcome. Not having used an electric cooker I did struggle to get going on it but one quick phone call and Nigel had us sorted out. He even offered to come and help us if needed. It was much appreciated. Parking was no issue and even though the cottage is next to the road we were never aware of any traffic noise. I think because the walls are so thick. As we are keen bird watchers the close proximity to several different bird serves in area made the location of the cottage very appealing and we used the Avalon Marshes Café every day coffees and lunch. Would highly recommend.

  • A beautiful little haven of country cottage meeting all the mod cons and cosy trimmings of comfort. The place was spotless when arrived and very thoughtful touches of beers- eggs- cereals-bread-milk, chocolate/snacks ..not extravagant but very welcoming and came in so handy after spending a fortune on eating out! Beautifully decorated and very welcoming touches with heating on all the time and hot water on tap! I felt so taken care of also with great communication in directions, checking in daily to make sure everything was okay and virtually instant replies when contacting. Excellent value for money and only a 10 min drive to Glastonbury. Car a necessity but probably cheaper in long run anyway with commuting to airport and with taxi rides in and out of town. Cars were very reasonable to hire and all round petrol only cost £12! I couldn’t recommend it more- was a bit of magic! Thank you Nigel!

  • its a lovely cosy cottage, great location for the RSPB Ham Wall just 4 mins drive away. Nigel has decorated the cottage so beautifully, but still sticking to lovely country feel. Nice and Warm for the cold winter nights we stayed . Lots of information on the area is available, plus lovely breakfast goodies left, with some extra goodies as well :) A great Host. Thank you Nigel. I also loved the Birthday card you left. very thoughtful.

  • Claire and Jake are amazing hosts, they made everything possible to make my stay the best they could. They are very friendly and warm welcoming and treated me like one of they're friends. Airbnb should create a category called supermarvelicious cause they would fit right in that. Thank you so much for the lovely week I had. Definitely recommend and if I ever need a place to stay again I will return to Claire and Jake.

  • This is a beautiful peaceful little haven with a stream running through the outside seated area. . It offers a perfect healing retreat with total privacy yet is so close to all the attractions. The hosts are outstanding and I felt they genuinely cared about me as a guest. They provide a super comfortable bed, lovely continental breakfast and sky tv. They are a genuinely warm and kind couple and I felt very welcome, I slept peacefully and this property was also sparkling clean and cosy too. I didn’t want to leave and I highly recommend it to anyone.

    Rosie2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • A very warm host couple. The equipment is small and beautiful. Everything you need is available. Very clean, cozy. In the cold season it has a small fireplace, the room is immediately warm. The small garden, made especially for the guests, is very inspiring, the brook you have in view comes directly from the Holy White Spring. A little magical place. Highly recommended, we will be back. Thank you. Big hugs

    Gabriella2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place was truly relaxing and cozy . It was well thought out with attention to detail . It is by far the best air bnb place I have been to ! The extra plus was the great location and the little stream next to the house which was nicely set up to relax by .

  • Mark and Mei were the perfect hosts! Mark was really friendly and welcoming and really made us feel comfortable and at home. The space is cosy, warm and clean, and has everything you need for a long weekend. You can basically walk everywhere in Glastonbury but the space is very convenient - only 5 mins walk to the high street. We had such a nice time!

    Margaret2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place was absolutely perfect! I actually stayed here earlier in the week with a friend but booked again for a solo trip for the weekend. The room was really cozy and comfortable, especially the bed, and it was very clean and well taken care of. Check in with Mark and Mei was really straightforward and they were lovely hosts! This place is also in a really central location for everything in the town centre. I will definitely stay again!

    Katie2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect Glastonbury retreat. Mark and Mei were so helpful when I asked, but let me have plenty of space to myself. The private access was to the spring was magical. Parking on the street. Plenty of room to relax after a day in Avalon. Highly recommend. Close to everything!

  • I had a fabulous experience staying at Rosie's house. Rosie is warm and welcoming and her home is beautiful. Beds are super comfortable and having a private bathroom (with a rain fall shower) is a pure delight. Rosie's home is closer to town than I expected, just a few minutes walk away. And breakfast was fantastic, lots of thoughtful little extras. I can't recommend Rosie's place enough, I would love to stay there again when I'm back in Glastonbury.

    Rachael2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Rosemary is a true super host. Wonderful quiet residence, close to town, great breakfasts and great shower! Would definitely stay again.

    Kirsty2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place was not only spotlessly clean and with a gorgeous kitchen and dining space, but Rosie also was very graciously accommodating, pleasant and relaxed. She responded to all my queries in no time at all, the bed was ever so comfortable and having a stylish and efficient private bathroom to use was a real bonus! And it is very close to the centre of town and the local supermarket (Morrison's) whilst being quiet. Parking can be close if you're lucky, or less than a minute away otherwise. I can see why everybody wants to return, i would!

The room is very private and has a double bed, large wardrobe, desk, and a comfy chair. It has its own patio/garden with large doors and blackout curtains (for an amazing sleep any time of the day). The toilet and shower are just outside the room and are rarely used by anyone else. The room has a 24" TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime (no terrestrial TV), which can also be used to browse the Internet or watch YouTube videos.
A very quiet and relaxing atmosphere to recharge and start a new day.
The house is in a very quiet neighborhood (dead quiet at night and most of the day) and in front of a large green area - which is also the view from the lounge's windows and balcony.
  • Comfy bed and the kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm.

  • Niss is a very welcoming and lovely host and very thoughtful leaving cupboard space in the kitchen and use of all amenities if required. The bedroom was a good space including a desk which I used for work and the bed very. Shower was power shower and all were very clean. A garden room in a country farmhouse. An ideal space for couples or singles who are looking for some fresh air and greenery. Ideal for birdwatchers, cyclists, walkers, artists, musicians and writers, or those who simply wish to explore the area. Pet lovers welcome - we have cats, and chickens. Fresh eggs! Relax in a four poster bed, enjoy the original artwork, wander around the flower garden, meet the cows in the farmyard.
This is a family home. It is also a working gallery of fine art. Guests will be expected to be out of the house during the day, and to provide their own transport. There is ample parking for cars. Bicycles may be brought into the house at night. This is a very low crime area. Please be prepared for children' paraphernalia and a certain amount of child related chaos. Please also be aware that there are free range chickens in the yard, and cats in the house. Dogs are not welcome unless they are Guide Dogs. There is no wheelchair access. You will have a share of the kitchen and access to your own shower and toilet.
Visitors come to this area to see Glastonbury Abbey and the Glastonbury Tor. These are 4 miles from the house, and the tor is visible from the house. Further afield we have Wells Cathedral and The Mendip Hills which are a centre for cavers and botanists. There is good cycling on the Levels, and Birdwatching at Ham Wall where the famous starling murmurations can been seen in the winter. In the summer there is the world famous Glastonbury Festival, which is 8 miles from here. The area around the house is predominantly pasture for cattle and there are many small fields with hedges and lanes. It's pretty. There are fishing lakes one mile from the house.

I am passionate about Glastonbury and am very happy to provide information and directions to many of our sacred sites. I offer a very warm welcome and a relaxed and easy atmosphere.
  • Vicky was very friendly and the most welcoming of hosts. I felt immediately at ease in her company. I had got slightly lost after getting off at the wrong stop, but after one or two calls, I managed to find my way okay. Would highly recommend both the host and the location of the property. As it is just next door to the center of town. The room was incredibly quiet, which is a blessing. I would certainly book with this host again.

  • My stay at Vicki's was great. Vicki is a great host really friendly, welcoming and a really nice lady and great to talk to over an amazing breakfast. The accommodation is also great as is the location. There's even the cutest dog. I would highly recommend to anyone and I hope to stay again when I go back to Glastonbury in June

    Suzanne2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Vicki is so warm and welcoming and her dog is adorable. The location can’t be beat, a 2 minute, flat street, walk to the center of town and the Abbey, as well as restaurants, pubs, shops and bus stop. About 25 minute walk to the Tor in the other direction. Fantastic deal, great place to stay!

  • Had an awesome stay here while doing workshops in Glastonbury. The house was clean, Vicki was lovely and I couldn’t recommend more. Will definitely stay again when I’m back in Glastonbury 💕

  • Vicki is a stellar host. She was great to communicate with ahead of the booking, and even met me at the bus stop! She is really good (and very experienced) at hospitality, even offered to make me breakfast, which was delicious. We had some lovely chats; she is a very open and kind person. 100% recommend for a delightful hosting experience in Glastonbury.

A large double room with private ensuite and private outdoor space set to the side of the main house and affording plenty of privacy, with fabulous views of the town and Somerset levels. We don't serve breakfast, but you are welcome to bring your own. There is a kettle, toaster, plates, cutlery and bowls available in the room. Note: We have a cat, but he is not generally allowed in your room. Speak to us if you have allergies. We are also a vegan/vegetarian household.
We all like to think we are unique, so we think our annexe is a rather special too! The room is as pictured, and has in it: A comfy double bed, with clean cotton sheets and duvet. In the winter there is an electric blanket to help keep you extra cosy! A small woodburning stove. Wood and firelighters are provided. (But don't worry, the room does have gas central heating, and a quality oil filled electric heater is also provided in the winter - so you don't have to stoke the fire all night long - unless you want to, of course!!) & Also : bedside tables and lamps, clothes hanging rail, a breakfast bar / desk with two stools (large enough for a laptop!); - and a small cupboard with kettle & toaster (cups, plates and cutlery, and small selection of herbal teas and instant coffee). There is also a selection of hippy, spiritual and eco-living books and magazines to inspire on cold nights. We have good unlimited wifi, the room has a signal booster just outside it too. The shower room is fitted with an electric shower (i.e. unlimited hot water, but not a power shower!); a basin and toilet. Clean towels and the basics are all provided. The room has patio doors onto the outside space, where there is some seating and fab views. There is a carbon monoxide and smoke alarm.
Our house is a 5-10 minute walk from Glastonbury High Street, using a pedestrian shortcut it is downhill there - and uphill back - which might take longer. There is plenty of free street parking outside the house. We are on a hill - which means spectacular views, but also that if you are walking you will need to walk up and down a hill :-) It is lovely and quiet up here (most of the time, though this is Glastonbury so there may be the sound of a beating drum drifting up from somewhere!). There is a small shop / supermarket less than 5 mins walk from our house where you will be able to get some of the basics you may have forgotten.
  • This is a gorgeous spot, high up enough to enjoy stunning views, and yet still close enough to the High Street to feel very well connected. The wood burner is such a cosy touch, and the bed (particularly the pillows!) makes for a wonderful nights sleep. Hard to imagine staying any where else in Glastonbury.

  • Wonderfull how Sorita stayed on the phone with my taxi driver to find the house in the dark. Very welcoming people. So nice of them to make the fireplace in de room burn by the time I arrived. Nice clean room, very comfortable bed. Towels, shower gel, blowdryer, tea... everything I needed was there or they were so nice giving me a coffee when I really needed one 😃 Easy going people, open heart, ready when you have questions. I would definately return if I'll ever get back to Glastonbury!!!💗

  • By Oak and Ash's place is just as described. It is on a hill above the town with great views. The room has its own private terrace, with shelter and chiminea that looks over the town and surrounding countryside. The room itself is cosy with ensuite bathroom. There is a kettle to make tea, with a good selection provided. Bed is comfortable. There is woodburner, which, although I did not use it, would be lovely on a chill evening. Oak and Ash are great hosts. Communication was prompt and directions excellent. I would definitely stay here again

  • I cant say enough about how enchanting this space is and how it is situated within magical Glastonbury. I slept so well...best of my journey in England so far. It was beautiful with a private patio and fire hearth to sit by overlooking the town. Savita is lovely and so knowledgeable I highly recommendthis flat Catharine

  • This home is a great find with welcoming hosts. Essentially it’s like being in a little annex with a lovely en-suite and a door directly from the bedroom to a part of the garden. Easy parking on the road and great wifi.

    Lizzie2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Ingenious accommodation: large room with fireplace, private terrace with fireplace, wonderful views of the countryside, very quiet location - and very warm and helpful hosts. I will definitely come back.

  • Mark and Mei are wonderful hosts. The house is in the perfect location to explore Glastonbury and is lovely and cozy. Mark and Mei have a wealth of knowledge and loads of local information to help you make the most of it. Thanks for a great stay x

  • This space was very clean and organized the bathroom is quite large, hot bath, lovely garden and view from the bathroom window. Breakfast and lovely set table all laid out in the morning, I need some rest and this was a wonderful private comfy room with a personal TV and Kettle with tea so i barely even had to leave the room and it was quiet. the perfect place to have some downtime. Also would of been the perfect place to wander into town from as well if one chose that as it is very close to all the sites, walking distance. Mark and Mei were very helpful and respond quickly to all messages, Great value for the money as I stayed at another place that I feel should of been lesser cost than this one, so you really get a great stay at a great price. Thank you Mark and Mei

    Angela2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • I spent 2 nights here and was very comfortable. The hosts were great and the location was within easy reach of the center of town.

We had an amazing breakfast made by Mark who even let us try a delicious homemade jam. Besides, it’s ideally located to go to the center and enjoy the city. We wished we could have stayed more!

  • Great value place in Glastonbury. Loved the bathroom. Slept very well, even though it’s near a main road it was surprisingly quiet. Also the food at Bocabar across the road is excellent!! Thanks guys :)

Comfortable cozy single room in quiet house (twin room also available under listing 'Twin Room in Sunny Quiet House. Glastonbury Town'). 10 minute walk to High street, Glastonbury abbey, bus stops and taxis. Countryside walk to Tor and Chalice Well garden. . Shared bathroom with shower. Free parking. Astrology chart Reading by arrangement. Also can taxi to or from Bristol airport / Train station by arrangement before your arrival.
The room is small but light and comfortable and situated at the back of the house and overlooks my small garden. It is ideal for a short stay. Hot drinks are always available. You are welcome to heat vegetarian food and prepare snacks in the kitchen
The neighbourhood is peaceful and the house situated in a small cul de sac. At the top of the road there is a green space and a children's play area. The Tor and Chalice Well gardens are both a 25 minute walk away through countryside above the town and similarly a 10 minute walk to the town centre, shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. There is a bus stop, shop 2 minutes away. The short route to town does involve using steps but the longer route by road with footpath takes 5 minutes more.
  • Helena is an amazing host. She is so attentive and caring, you feel immediately good as soon as you arrive at her house. The house is lovely, the bedroom was very comfortable, I felt safe and in a soft cocoon there. The cats are also so cute ! Everything is clean, and the bedroom has an addictive smell of clean sheets that I personally loved.

  • Helena is absolutely lovely , perfect host 100%, not intrusive but really helpful , the house is only 5 minutes walking to the town centre. Will definitely book with her again! Highly recommend

  • Very good location, kind host, easy walk (downhill) to town main street and a direct (uphill) walk back. Comfortable room and access to bathroom and kitchen.

    Raphael2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my stay at Helena, her sense of ease make me felt at home. I also enjoyed our conversation, as Helena is quite knowledgeable about Glastonbury area. The space is very tidy, clean and simple. I also loves her friendly cats!

    Shanni2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • I had been given some last minute time off work and when looking on AirBnB came across Helena’s place. It seemed perfect for a solo trip for a couple of says away, and it definitely was! Helena was quick at responding and great with all of my questions before I booked (including reassurance of car parking spots!). When I arrived, she gave me a warm welcome after driving 5 hours to get there - letting me in, offering me a drink and to sit down/chat before showing me my room and leaving me to settle for the evening. The room itself was lovely, perfect for a couple of days stay - clean, comfortable bed, a lamp for evening reading, drawers should you need them (I tend to travel light). The shower was clean and simple to use. Helena also offered me to keep my milk in the fridge and have use of cutlery, should I need it. The house is only a short walk from the town and right across the road from a local corner shop (which is open late if you need anything!). The only thing I’d say is that it IS uphill so maybe not suitable for those who will be in + out a lot during the days. Helena was lovely and friendly - giving me tips and recommendations for what to see in the town and where I could get good veggie food. But she was also very respectful of giving privacy. There are two cats in the house too, but I am an animal lover so was happy to make friends with them 😸 Will no likely be back to explore some more in the future!

    Vee2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Helena's space is a true oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Glastonbury High Street. Beautifully located on a hill with view of the Tor from a nearby sweet parc. Helena is highly knowledgeable of the area and has many a useful advice. Would surely stay again if my path leads me to Avalon once more.

    Simona2019-07-23T00:00:00Z

Welcome to a beautiful mid Victorian terrace house a few minutes walk from Glastonbury High Street. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms available for guests. The living room has an open fireplace and there is a conservatory onto the secluded, bird filled garden with a seating area and well.
The house is open plan downstairs, and light and airy at the back due to the conservatory and skylights in the kitchen and bathroom. The garden is small and peaceful with a huge bay tree that provides cover for the many birds that visit all through the day. We do have a small double sofa bed downstairs if there is a short stay group of 5 people only. Do be aware though that there is only one toilet.
The garden is particularly quiet for such a central location because there are no through roads to the back.
  • Great host , clean house , beds were comfortable and we could use all facilities including kitchen. Stairs are a little steep but we knew that from her posting. We would definitely go back to stay at this property with a fantastic location 5 minute walk to the abbey , pubs and restaurants. Tesco also 5 minute walk

  • Fiona is humble, down to earth, and a wonderful host! Her place is literally a 5-10 minute walk from the high street, so your still central, but out of the hustle & bustle of the high Street. Her home is welcoming, clean & has character, in the best possible way! Fiona's daughter is also really polite & charming! Beds are super cosy, so you are guaranteed a good night sleep! Great value for money & would recommend! X

We have a self-contained flat with stunning views over the Somerset Levels and river walks from our back garden gate. While it's a peaceful rural retreat, we're only a 15 minute walk from Glastonbury town centre and 30 mins (brisk!) walk to the top of The Tor. The flat has a separate entrance, galley kitchen for self-catering & fast wi fi. We can give you information on historic and spiritual tours and about the history & archaeology of Glastonbury and the nearby Mendip Hills. No service charge.
The flat is completely self contained and you will be able to come and go as you wish. There is also an dedicated south facing patio area with seating, for quiet contemplation, or you may share our patio and large garden. The galley kitchen has a single induction hob, sink, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle and we will provide tea, coffee and herb teas with milk or dairy free alternative. The kitchen leads on to the wet room with shower & bathroom. The whole flat is heated by gas central heating and we provide additional heating if necessary.
Glastonbury town is a fascinating place to visit with lots of welcoming people and places to see and experience. There are many trips that can be arranged to view historic sites and to enable understanding of the many myths and legends. Nearby Street has its own attractions like Clarks Village retail centre and open air swimming pool (in summer).

There’s a bath tub and shower, a kitchen with a microwave oven, and a lovely conservatory looking out at the garden. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to retreat to during a spiritual pilgrimage to Glastonbury, this is it. Very suitable if you travel alone. There’s also the opportunity to book Rob, one of your host, for a guided tour of historical sites.

  • Really like staying at this airBNB, have been there twice and will plan to stay in the same place on future visits to Street. The outside of the house looks a bit shabby, but the room you stay in is immaculate and spotless. Very practical bathroom with shower over the bath with decent water pressure. Lovely friendly host and parking right by house. All in all a great airBNB and very much recommended.

Colourful sunny room with single bed and good quality chair bed. wardrobe, table & bookcase. Beautiful original paintings. Breakfast vegetarian/vegan available. Example- Rye bread, organic yogurt, fruit, muesli, fruit juice tea and coffee Free teas available all day. Bathroom & kitchen are compact. Washer & dryer, at £5 fee. Small Kitchen - Light cooking and warming food is acceptable. Large supply of different teas available all day No smoking
This a non smoker, vegetarian household which is a very short walk to the high street. But not so close that you are disturbed by noise from the pubs at night. Free parking is available in the nearby streets. The house is Edwardian and is quirky. There is a lovely, sunny garden. The energy in the house is kept clear and high. Non smoking
Glastonbury has something for everyone. Abbey ruins, Chalice Well, Rural Life Museum, The Tor. All within easy reach. Excellent self service cafe Rainbows End. Lazy Gecko for freshly made good food. There are 19 Cafes in Glastonbury and most of them cater for Vegetarians and Vegans. See Trip Advisor for reviews. My personal favourite is Gigi's Italian Restaurant and Lazy Gecko. The White Spring is unusual and is very atmospheric. Might be unsuitable for families with children as some people might be plunging naked into the pool. It is also lit by candles and it is hard to see. Floor uneven with water pouring along gullies in the floor. Chalice Well is next door and is an amazingly peaceful place.
  • The location is perfect for the town centre - practically a stone's throw but just far enough to avoid noise and bustle, and I had no problem parking on the road. Vivien is really lovely and a mine of information. As an added bonus, the duvet cover on the bed was just like the one I had as a child, so there was even a surprise nostalgia trip. I'll hope to be back next time I'm visiting the area.

We are offering a cosy room in our lovely house in Glastonbury. We are a 20min walk from Glastonbury High Street, 30min walk from Chalice Wells and 40min walk from the top of the Glastonbury Tor. Also, the historic city of Wells with its magnificent cathedral and Clarks Village, an outlet shopping centre, in Street are just under 10min drive away from us. The house has huge parking in front of it so we can easily host guests who come in multiple cars.
The room is perfect for two people, however, it can fit another one or two people on the mattress on the floor, but then it might feel a bit crowded. We would provide a roll-up futon-type mattress, which could be rolled up during the day to have more space in the room.
  • Pearl and her partner are a lovely couple. There home is clean, comfortable an.d has a calm atmosphere and peaceful , which I loved. Use of their kitchen was great if you want to cook your own meals. The room was cosy and spacious, the bed was really comfy, had a great couple of nights sleep. The town is a easily reached on foot about a 10 to 15 minute walk.

  • I loved my time here. These are two of the most gracious, calm people I've met. Very helpful and friendly though never intrusive as they too are quiet people. Their home is super clean and has a minimal look I loved though very well equipped with all you need in the kitchen and room for a perfect stay. I was on a course and loved the walk into town in the morning and evening. I look forward to going back here again. Thank You both!!!!!!

The house is located nearby the centre and nearby the Tor in a quiet street. The atmosphere of the house is that of a retreat house where you can relax and have some quiet time. I am a tour guide and can give you some tips and I also offer life coaching sessions with tarot. But the main thing is that I hope you will feel at home. There is another room with kingsize bed that I rent out as well, just in case you want to come with more people. Please ask me.
    Nice and relaxed atmosphere
Nice and quiet street on the slopes of Wearyall Hill - famous for emends and history. The house has views on the Tor and the levels - which a long a time ago was under water and sometimes gets flooded again, but it has no impact on the street, just the view.
  • Manon is a very kind and welcoming host. Her house is very beautiful, and the room has some nice colours and wonderful ornaments and images.

    Regina2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Manon is a wonderful, relaxed and knowledgeable host. I really felt at home in her place and could have stayed for longer. She created the perfect balance of having nice chats and leaving me to do my thing. She left a listing of events in the room for me and answered all my many questions about Glastonbury! She also had lots of books available about Glastonbury and also spiritual books in the room which was great. I had a magical stay. Thank you Manon :)

    Chloe2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and cosy room, expect to get a good rest.

    Florence2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Earth Mama's House has a unique, relaxed atmosphere and Manon has a lovely, calm manner which makes you totally feel at ease. Her home is inviting and a great location to the area. I took a short, solo break for the carnival but it was made so much better for the little chats with Manon. I came away feeling spiritually uplifted. Definitely an experience I will do again. Thank you :)

    Tracy2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, comfortable room in a pretty apartment. Manon was a very friendly and helpful host and made me feel welcome. I loved the decor and the warm, peaceful feeling. Cosy kitchen and nice hot shower. I could see the Tor from the front door and it was an easy walk to the centre for shops and the Abbey, less than ten minutes. Thank you for having me, next time I'll stay longer!

    Karleen2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • I truly enjoyed staying at Manon’s house! I felt right at home from the start. The room was warm and so cozy that I was always looking forward to getting back home after exploring Glastonbury. Manon is a wonderful host 😌 will stay again when I am back!

    Veronika2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Earth mamas house was warm n cosy. Close enough to town but far enough out for peace and quiet. Stayed in Glastonbury for a 3 day course so was very tired on arrival. Manon put me at ease straight away and won’t hesitate to stay there again should I need to be in Glastonbury. It was also lovely waking up to the cock and chooks a few doors down in the morning x

    Ann-Marie2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • My room at Manon’s place was cozy with a beautiful butterfly bedspread and wall hanging. Just right for a deeply transformative experience at Glastonbury. My only regret is that Manon was out of town so I didn’t meet her in person. The kitchen facilities were good and the location could not have been better for walking access to the Tor, Chalice Well, and town center. All in all a great place.

Dogs Welcome Ex park home refurbished available exclusively for holiday makers visiting Glastonbury and surrounding areas. Situated in the grounds of our country cottage on the very green and quiet outskirts of the famous and very spiritual town. Gorgeous nature reserves very close by, Natural England sites, public footpaths and cycle routes all close by. The town centre, Glastonbury Abbey & Glastonbury Tor are within a 35-55 minute walk or a very short drive. Suitable for all & lovely views.
We wanted to provide a very economic space for holiday makers to use and enjoy to enable you to enjoy the experiances that Glastonbury and the surrounding areas have to offer for less. The accommodation itself has a fully equipped and working kitchen, gas fired central heating, large open space dining room and living room with L shaped sofa, TV and dining table. Bathroom is fully working with toilet, basin, built in shower with enclosure and tray. Master bedroom contains King size bed with plenty of blankets, pillows and bedding. Spare bedroom 1 contains large wardrobe with full body length mirror suitable for unpacking and hanging clothes. 3rd bedroom ideal for storage. Large outside space perfect for dogs who will thoroughly enjoy the green fields, stunning nature reserves and public footpaths that are to offer around the property. Ample space for parking with a secure garden and electric gate. We are the only property for at least 0.5 miles and although located on a fairly busy country lane, the accommodation and grounds is very quiet. This is definitely a place to stay for some quiet, peaceful time away. Having the ability to drive or a keen cyclist/walker is necessary due to the remote location just outside of Glastonbury. Plenty of taxis operate in the area too.
We are surrounded by nature and in the heart of the Countryside. There are plenty of fields, nature reserves and foot paths that can be enjoyed with stunning views.
  • Very comfortable and good value. The caravan is well laid out with plenty of space to relax in the living room and prepare meals in the kitchen. Kate and her husband were very helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again. A good location for Glastonbury and Street.

    Susan2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Katie was really supportive , and quick respond to my emails, unfortunately my plan is changed so I had to work couldn’t stay at the property. Hope I can rent it again sometimes

    Na2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The mobile home was just great, cosy, warm and well-equipped for two. The heating is by a boiler in the home, so manageable by the guest. It was clean, comfy and enough space, not cramped at all. Bed very comfy though I hardly slept a wink as we had yet another storm, very windy! Great view of Glastonbury Tor across countryside, only few miles off.

    Marion2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, clean accommodation.. very reasonable price and had EVERYTHING we needed. Happy guests :)
