Mindy was a lovely host and the room was perfect and comfortable! We enjoyed the stay and had an awesome hike following morning. Mindy also was ready with info about her favorite hiking spots!

Kevin and Mindy were very accommodating and generous hosts, and their place was spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities. I had an excellent stay.

We had an amazing time at Reeta's home. She and her husband are both very kind and accommodating hosts. She made an excellent breakfast for us!

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying with Reeta and Ish. Reeta is incredibly caring and friendly while still giving us space and privacy to relax and rejuvenate. My friend and I both intend to return. When I think about my time there, I feel comfort and peace. So glad we found her on airbnb. It's worth mentioning that I am vegan and my friend is gluten-free; we weren't expecting her to accommodate these restrictions for breakfast but she generously did and we were very grateful.

Reeta is an excellent host. We wish we could have stayed longer because Reeta and the whole family really made us feel at home from the get go. Reeta was very warm and accommodating with any and all requests, all the while allowing us our privacy. The room was very clean and spacious, and the ensuite bathroom really made it so we had a space our own. I certainly recommend this stay and would do it again.

The house is so great! I love every thing of the room, and Reeta is such a good host. She provide everything you need. Although I only stayed for one night, I really enjoyed it! I will definitely choose that place again whenever I go to the outlet.

Our stay at Quiet, Cozy was indeed comfortable and relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet, with grounds as lovely as the written description. Our room was on the lower level; private space included a large sitting room, spacious bedroom, and private bathroom. Reeta is a warm, attentive and gracious host. Although it was later in the evening, she offered us a cup of tea when we arrived. The next morning we enjoyed breakfast in the dining room - tea, muffins and toast, cereal, fruit. We would gladly stay here again to enjoy the Hudson Valley region and Quiet, Cozy.

Patricia is a wonderful and warm host. Her house and property are beautiful. The suite was decorated with antiques that gave it a warmth. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. She even serves a very yummy continental breakfast of croissants, juice, coffee, fruit, and cereal. I would most definitely go back!

Patricia was a gracious host, and even provided us with breakfast in the morning. The room was as nice as pictured, with direct balcony access and private bath. The location was perfect to attend a wedding at Arrow Park Lodge.

We were driving to Cape Cod from Rochester and wanted to break our journey due to our age. We picked Patricia's home more or less randomly but were pleasantly surprised and happy with the accommodation. Patricia has a very friendly personality and was the perfect hostess for us. The town Harriman looks very interesting and well worth more explorations. We hope we'll be back, maybe for the Octoberfest or applefest.

Patricia could not have been nicer, or her place more comfy. When the weather gets warmer, the deck off the bedroom will be a really nice spot to enjoy her lovely breakfast.

Patricia was such a friendly, accommodating and awesome host. The place itself was very nice with a very modern bathroom and bed. It was extremely quiet and there was plenty of privacy. I can't again stress how great the bed was!

It was a really nice stay. The bedroom looks away better than the pic. A very clean and decent accommodation. The host Joan was not there when I arrived, but she left a note on the door and soon came back. She provided us with cereal, milk, hot tea and yoghurt. And the house is super close to Woodbury outlets! Less than a 10 minute drive.

Our trip was perfect, just what it needed to be. We did not stay for long and were literally just there to sleep. We needed a place to stay just outside the city because we were on a business trip Upstate until late at night and knew we wouldn't be able to find any parking in NYC if we arrived after midnight. Joan made it easy for us to arrive late in the night, and we got up very early and left for the city. We even got a muffin and cup of coffee on our way out the door!

Camille's house was more beautiful in person than in the photos. It was very spacious and well equipped with everything that we needed. The best part was the semi private lake. Camille's home was even more beautiful than the pictures. From the friendly open space, to the sunset view over the lake, we were not disappointed! My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer! Her communications prior to our stay were detailed and clear, the caretaker was helpful, and all around it was a wonderful weekend. I highly recommend this location and host.

Camille provided an excellent overview of the house and things to do in the area. It was very well kept and inviting but mostly it had excellent design sensibilities. The two extra bedrooms are detached from the house which makes it feel a bit more like camping. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a great time at camille's house in Monroe. Our host was very helpful and communicative ahead of time and even helped me find a local babysitter for our baby! The house was very clean and well supplied for activities, cooking and relaxing. It's a great space for hanging out indoors or outdoors. The dock is beautiful and we didn't have enough time for water sports but the kayaks looked in great condition. The house would be Perfect for a family with older children because the two non-master bedrooms are separated slightly from the house so those sleeping there have to go outside to get to the bathroom --- so those two rooms are not ideal for a baby or another couple. I would definitely recommend this house and the host.

Camille and her lake home were just perfect. The property is really great, with clean Scandinavian design, and Camille was very helpful and accommodating. Perfect experience! You'll love your time here.

Nice and cozy but no heater.

We had a great weekend and took our dog on the trip. Jarrette and Lisa were very friendly and the studio was exactly as described. Coming from New York, the studio had a good size and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The area is very quiet, with lots of hiking trails around and wild life.

Jay and Lisa were amazing! So kind, flexible and welcoming. The place is very cute, private entrance and a quiet neighborhood. Greenwood Lake is a great lakeside downtown. Had some great conversations! I can't thank them enough for all their hospitality- even gave me some home grown basil before I left!

Jarrette and Lisa are the consumate hosts. Before I even arrived they asked if there was anything I needed to feel comfortable in their space. They offered to pick up food items for the fridge and even bottled water. It was such a nice convenience to not have to stop at the store when I arrived so late. Their country charmer is in a great location in a very nice, very quiet neighborhood. Just to give everyone an idea of how charming this place is, one day when I was leaving to meet a friend some children were playing in the front yard. One little girl was drawing in chalk on Jarrette and Lisa's driveway. When I got closer I saw what she had written in big colorful letters: LOVE LIFE!

Lisa and Jarrette are wonderful hosts. They offered to stock the fridge in the rented out area before I got there and worked well with my peculiar travel itinerary. The space was perfect and came with a full kitchen as well. Much more than expected! Would most certainly return.

Jay and Lisa's place was clean and in a lovely neighborhood. We went for a run around the area, not too much traffic and people were friendly to us. We brought the dog who is typically very quiet, but he was anxious in the new space and barking while we were at an event; they were very understanding which we appreciate. It was perfect for us!

Interesting place. I only needed to stay one night but it would probably be a nice place to have a longer stay. Nice kitchen etc. Bed was a folding futon and not comfortable enough for me.

The house was wonderful.. immaculately kept and well-equipped. It was everything that was described to us and more. Perfect combination of just chilling at the house which is secluded in the woods with a few great nearby hikes and delicious meals in town. Highly recommended break from the city. There is a stream out back of the house. We spent a lot of time listening to the comforting sound when outside with our four small dogs. Joely was very nice and helpfull. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We rented the Little House for a long weekend because we were attending a wedding close by and it was perfect! It was so peaceful to sit on the back deck with coffee in the morning listening to the stream. Joely was super helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend to any one visiting the area.

We can't wait to come back! My girlfriend and I decided to book a spontaneous weekend getaway at the last minute, and Abbe and Jeff were extremely accommodating. They responded to our inquiry immediately and kept us informed as to who else would be on the property during our stay, what restaurants and entertainment options were nearby, and even went above and beyond to make sure amenities like the grill and hot tub were accessible during our stay - despite over a foot of snow being on the ground. The master suite was reasonably priced and as luxurious as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to visit again!

Bea was the absolute best case scenario you could have in an Airbnb. She was very communicative and extremely kind. The Stone House provided a fantastic weekend getaway. The home is clean and Bea provided everything we needed. The grounds of the house allow for a multitude of activities: swimming, tennis, volleyball, badminton, croquet, and more! I can't speak highly enough of my experience and I can't wait to rent the home again in the future.

Beatrice was a very accommodating owner who went out of her way to make sure everything went well for our stay. I had several questions which she responded to quickly and without hesitation. This is an amazing property situated on 30+ acres surrounded by 300 plus acres of forever wild parkland. When you drive up Taylor Rd you won't feel like your just 50 miles from Manhattan, in most instances, you would had to have driven another several hours to have this type of setting. Once you make your way up to the pool from the stone house, just walk a little further into the backyard, there you will come upon several expansive views of freshly cut fields that lead to Schunnemunk Mountain State Park. Just turn a little bit and you will see two rows of mature trees that seem to go on forever and would be the envy of any landscape architect. The house itself beckons to a time when craftsmanship was everything, with 16" wide plank pine floors, fireplaces in every bedroom and an overall sense of quality that rounds out the whole experience. We loved this place so much we are thinking of coming back and having a family re-union, it's just one of those places that you will always remember.

This house was a great place for our family. It is on a very quiet road, in a lovely secluded area. We especially enjoyed having a great pool, with a separate pool house! We loved the character of the house - from the original wood to the antique locks on the doors. We felt more like we were house sitting for our favorite aunt than renting a place. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - kitchen, laundry, a grill, great sitting porch, plenty of space in the house to spread out and relax. The bedrooms were especially large. The beds were very comfortable, too. There is no air conditioning on the main level of the house, but there is air conditioning in the bedrooms and the pool house, so we really didn't miss it much. We needed a cooler and some folding chairs to attend a parade, and Beatrice had several choices waiting when we arrived. She really took hosting us to heart and responded quickly to my questions. We would love to stay here again!

stayed here for a late summer weekend with friends (seven of us total). it was pretty perfect. we grilled, swam, hiked, and played tennis...even my most picky friends want to come back for longer next summer. it's an old house with lots of character, but still extremely comfortable. the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for (URL HIDDEN) running out to the grocery store for olive oil or coffee. check in/out couldn't have been easier, and bea was extremely responsive and helpful in answering all our questions. it's an easy drive/train ride from new york, and we had an extremely relaxing, memorable weekend. we'll hopefully be back!

We can't rave enough about the house, the grounds, the host or the area. We absolutely loved our time staying here. Bea is fantastic - communicative, helpful, patient, kind, generous. The house is wonderful. We stayed here during our wedding weekend, and it could not have been more perfect. We rented both the Stone House (with four bedrooms) and the Pool House behind it (with two more bedrooms) for ourselves and our four siblings and their families. The expansive grounds, surrounded by lush hills, are incredibly beautiful. Both houses are clean and comfortable. We relaxed in the sun, played in the pool, took quick and easy trips into town for groceries, and explored the area - Storm King, Blooming Hill Farm, Weir's Ice Cream (!) and everything in between. It is a magical area, and we cannot wait to come back.

The home was huge and certainly accommodates larger parties. The neighbors aren't too close and it sits on a huge plot of land. It is about 30 min from a few state parks. The house does need updates/maintence (dishwasher, working fireplace, sliding door to deck etc. and could really use a fire pit). The jacuzzi is not outdoors - it's in the master suite. For the price per night, wifi and TV would be ideal. Overall though, Yoel was very responsive and accommodating and the house was clean. I would stay here again.

This house was a great experience. It was clean, secluded, and huge. All the amenities, besides tv and wifi (which we knew about when purchasing this listing) were there. Would definitely stay again.

Yoel was good at communication before and after our stay, providing us with an entry code to the house upon arrival. He was unavailable for part of our stay, which happened to coincide with arrival, but we are very self-sufficient and were able to remedy some things on our own. The home is in the perfect location to get to West Point for football games, which is what we did, but only sleeps 11 in beds, though two full sized camping cots are available, as well as four children's cots. The industrial stove and oven were my favorite feature of the house! I suggested some things Yoel could do to improve the stay of guests, maintenance issues like a broken dishwasher and lack of coffee pot, toaster, and pots and pans. This place is perfect for large parties, but if everyone is flying in, those essentials are necessary for a smooth stay. We drove in from PA and had some cooking essentials with us, but be advised there are no knives, few plates, no silverware; just paper plates and plastic spoons and forks. Yoel was very open to feedback and new to Airbnb; I feel certain that once these issues are resolved, this place will be booked continuously. We are already planning another visit for next year!

Donnas is a very nice gentleman. His communication was extremely timely and he genuinely cares about your quality of stay. The house is in a gorgeous area and the interior is even prettier than in the pictures. I recommend Donnas's house for anyone and everyone!

For anyone who is visiting Monroe in NY or anywhere around it and looking for a place to stay you have to go to Joan and stay at her place!!! It's so clean and very organized place the room is perfect and the bathroom is very clean too. Joan is very kind person and she welcomed me very good. I would stay there again if I go visit Monroe.

As I told Gamble, the photos hardly do this lovely home justice, and it's more spacious than it appears. Very well appointed, too. The yard/grounds are delightful, the pond was a serene getaway in and of itself. Our party of 6 was very comfortable here on our birthday/Ren faire getaway weekend. Looking forward to next time!

I'm tempted to not write a review - to leave this special place a secret so that I can return to it again and again. The cottage is truly a work of art and love. Although just a short jaunt from the city, off the interstate and a few miles from Woodbury Commons (buses go there), the property feels a world apart. Located at the end of a winding dirt road, the cottage is surrounded by forest and nestled between a lake and a pond. Every piece of furniture in the house is thoughtfully selected and intentionally placed. Beautiful plants illuminate l corners of the home. Shelves are stacked with interesting books. Plenty of fresh air, and peace and quiet. Large skylights allowed us to watch the stars while laying in bed. The crackle and heat of the wood burning stove was divine, and I could lay by it for hours. The kitchen is equipped with everything a chef might need. The cleanliness of the home was really impressive, as it can sometimes be difficult to get an older home this clean. This was an outstanding Airbnb experience.

Everything about this property is amazing. We came here with our 7 friends in from France (3 adults, 4 children). The only thing that would make this place better would be if there were a herd of unicorns grazing in the yard and Gamble gave me a (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication: Smooth, clear communication, friendly, quick to answer questions. Location: Perfect! In this cool little artist enclave, surrounded by nature. Close to everything you need/ want yet you feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere. 5 Min from Woodbury Commons and other shopping, about an hour from NYC, and there are a ton of things to do in the area-- shopping, farmers markets, hiking, biking, dining, checking out cool little towns like Warwick and Sugar Loaf. Vibe: Bucolic setting, surrounded by nature. The house itself is a great mix of creative, artistic, eclectic, bohemian, but with all of the creature comforts, a well-stocked kitchen, lots of board games, is amazingly comfortable, good linens. CLEAN. I feel like the people who live here are well-traveled artists who are more than likely a lot smarter than me. The house is filled with interesting artifacts and art. A great mix of mid-century and contemporary, with a smattering of antiques. They have a fire pit, a great outdoor play area for the kids, more wood you can possibly use in the fireplace. They are also very organized, which caters to the super nerd in me that needs all cords hidden and everything in its place. Just a great, well thought home that I hope to come back to time and again with friends or just my husband.

Wonderful, idyllic a little house in the middle of a gorgeous little forest fairy land with ponds on either side. The home is decorated impeccably inside and out. I wish I had such great taste!!!

Great stay and first class hosts. The house is very large and beautiful and the bed I slept in was super comfortable. My host Abby was very accommodating. She answered all my questions and was always reachable. I needed R&R and the pool was lovely, private and perfect. Everything was very clean and there was even shampoo and conditioner in the showers.

The home was amazing. Exactly as advertised. It was very spacious, beautiful and welcoming. I would love to have my daughter's wedding here. It is just simply gorgeous. Jeff greeted us and he was very nice. Jeff said that the kitchen cabinet was stocked with spices and the refrigerator had various condiments and we were told to make ourselves at home and use whatever we wish. There was a grill at the pool and we had time to enjoy that too. Jeff was easy to talk to. Everything was perfect. 2 thumbs up!!

We had a gathering of 16 friends (and 2 babies!) and this home was exactly what we dreamed it would be. Plenty of space for everyone, clean and cozy. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and cooked a delicious meal in the kitchen. We loved the large square table, it was perfect for our huge Thanksgiving feast and to be able to see and interact with everyone during dinner. Jeff and Abbe were very responsive before, during and after our stay and made us feel very welcome in their home!

This was a beatiful place to stay in a lovely neighborhood very close to the Ananda Ashram where our event was being held. We were greeted and given a very helpful tour of the premises. Our host was very helpful and communicative before the rental as well as after, and they went above and beyond to retrieve an item that was left behind. We definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

Our stay in Harriman was absolutely lovely and the house was beautiful and clean. We were 12 girls coming for a college reunion. There were plenty of places to sleep and the beds were comfortable. The house was spacious and was well-equipped. There were even spices and some snacks that were free for us to have. The neighborhood was very quiet and private, which was just what we wanted - overall a relaxing stay. In addition to relaxing at the pool, there were so many things to do in the area... wine tasting, hiking, shopping, art galleries etc. Abbe and Jeff were easy to communicate with and very friendly. They were always available for our questions and answered in a timely manner. We arrived very early in the morning from a long travel and they granted us an early check in. They were so sweet and had bagels and coffee ready for us... Very thoughtful. No complaints here! Would definitely recommend :)
