Proximity to hiking areas and culture such as Medevi brunn, Verner von Heidenstams Övralid. The ancient town of Vadstena and both Göta Kanal and Motala Ström. Wander the Old Motala Workshop area or visit the Motor Museum and Lake Vättern Aquarium in Motala Harbour. If you have time, I recommend a visit to Naturum at Tåkern or a hike on Omberg

With walking paths, cafes and restaurants, it is a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is sheltered in a bay that is perfect for surfing and kayaking.
