  • There are so many positives.... Extremely comfortable beds with good quality bed linen - hotel standard! A beautifully presented, cosy and comfortable property with lots of lovely touches. I loved the wall art. The property is fully equipped so, no need to shop even for the basics. The location is great for the town centre and also the inches and beaches. I really appreciated the offer to cover the sofas for the dogs. I would usually do this anyway so it saved me packing extra covers. The communication was friendly and efficient from start to finish. A small issue out with the owners control is the noise from the road in front of the property. Light sleepers should be aware.

  • Wonderful stay, Jean was very quick to respond to messages and gave us recommendations for the local area. The house is lovely, it was so cosy with the fire on and a good location. The noise in the bedroom is more than we're used to, but it didn't stop is sleeping!

  • This is a lovely apartment and Linda is a great host. It's very comfortable, and all the little touches Linda does make it a home from home. We loved it and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

    Mel2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. It is nice and quiet, in a normal neighborhood. SUPER Clean and very roomy. We loved finding all the extra goodies! Linda, the host is gracious and was great with communication about the place. We highly recommend this location.

    Kara2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • We loved every moment of our stay at Linda's place. It is a beautifully decorated apartment that make you feel right a time home. Linda clearly puts a lot of effort into making all guests feel welcome as there was an abundance of welcome treats, lovely bath & shower items and notes about the local area. Linda has stocked the kitchen with good quality cooking equipment and has good quality linen on the bed. She even has a tea set for guests to use, which we loved! The apartment is absolutely spotless! Thankyou for having us and we can't wait to recommend your place to our friends and family at home.

    Stacie2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Linda’s place was lovely! It was in a nice quiet neighborhood and the apartment itself had everything you would need to feel at home. WiFi is not included but the tv in the living room has cable, and it’s nice to watch a show or a movie at the end of the day. Also the little treats that Linda left us were really nice and thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again!

    Jessica2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • A nice place in walking distance of the high street

    Anna2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Linda’s place is tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable, and sparkling clean. It is a charming, self-contained apartment in a converted, listed property, and is finished to a high standard. The short walk to the train station(less than 5 minutes) makes for easy access to Inverness and the rest of the Highlands. The property is on a leafy, peaceful, cul-de-sac and has great curb appeal. It has everything needed for an extended stay. Nairn has a picturesque harbour and a surprisingly nice, sandy beach. There are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores of interest in town. I highly recommend Linda and her place!!! The only thing that we missed while staying at Linda’s was that there is no WiFi.

    Patricia2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Location was very quiet and so close to everything in Nairn (restaurants, beach, train station etc) a great hub for exploring this part of Scotland! We appreciated all the amenities and would highly recommend this town and flat.

    Cunningham2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent stay at The Moorings. Right beside the harbour, a minute from the river path, 2 minutes to the town centre and a few minutes from the beach. Communication was first class and accommodation was so clean and comfortable - nothing has been missed! Great to be able to take our dog with us too. No garden for her but that wasn’t a problem as there’s plenty of space around for walking.

    Linda2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • The communication was excellent from the start and the property was well located near the sea and with nice views over the river. Check in was easy and the property was spotless. It was a nice touch that a number of items were provided that we weren’t expecting (eggs, bread etc). If we’re ever in the area we would definitely stay again!

The cottage is located in the beautiful historic town of Nairn, in a quiet street less than 100m away from stunning beaches. Perfect spot to explore the Highlands, relax on the beach or play a round or 2 of golf! Conveniently situated less than 10 miles away from Inverness airport, it is walkable distance to Nairn High Street. You’ll love my place, it has been renovated recently and it's very cosy. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
The cottage is on 2 levels. The very well equipped kitchen, dining room, living room (with single sofa bed) and bathroom are on the ground floor. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs under the roof (we’ve now upgraded to a normal size double bed and the other room has 2 twin beds). You’ll have access to the garden/space in front of the cottage. You will find a table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the sunny days. We provide high quality furnishing from British companies like The White Company, Joules, Anta, John Lewis. We offer spa quality hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner from The Scottish Fine Soap Company. We supply bedlinen and towels as well as beach towels and a picnic rug. DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS, WE ARE TAKING EXTRA CARE TO DISINFECT FREQUENTLY TOUCHED SURFACES BETWEEN RESERVATIONS!
Park Street is part of Fishertown, a village part of Nairn, full of typical fisherman cottages. It is very quiet, so perfect for a relaxing stay near the beach.
  • What a lovely cosy cottage. Much bigger than expected and very thoughtfully done. Perfect escape to relax in. Thank you.

  • We have returned home from another wonderful week in cosy cottage. It was just as lovely as we remember from our stay last year. Perfect location for all amenities and a safe haven for the golfers amongst our group. A real home from home, with thoughtful touches. We can't wait to visit again! Thank you Stephanie :-)

  • The perfect place to spend a few relaxing days after a long road trip! The apartment is so cosy that it doesn't even matter to spend a few rainy days inside.

  • Very cosy place, well located. Grave left lots of information and instructions useful for our stay. Thank you again

  • Grace's wee cottage was excellent- very cute and clean, and super central. No on-site parking but a free car park less than 5 mins walk away. Perfect for a couple!

    Andrew2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We needed a place to get over jet lag before joining a large group for a tour of the highlands. It was a short taxi ride from Inverness Airport. We had no need for a car. “Cozy” is a great way to describe this little cottage. It is on a quiet tiny street and even though the building is over 100 years old, the cottage has all anyone could want - tv, internet, washer/dryer, heated towel rack, etc. It is comfortable, immaculate and well cared for. It is also steps away from restaurants, a bakery, drugstores and other shops. A block away is an atm machine and a little further is a cafe that has great breakfasts. We would have enjoyed staying longer. The host, Grace, made sure everything was to our satisfaction- we were more than satisfied!!

    Kristin2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, immaculately clean, great location, and very thoughtful host. It doesn’t get much better than that!

    Shelley2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely, homely base close to town, beach and beautiful surrounding area. It would work as year round accommodation, not just summer. Grace was very welcoming and hospitable. She also gave lots of helpful advice about walks, visits, where to eat etc.

    Helen2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Katie's cottage. The kitchen is great if you want to do a little cooking whilst you are away rather than eating out for every meal. The bathroom was clean and the shower is pretty decent. It's located upstairs close to the bedroom. It's not far from the high street in Nairn which we used to pop out and get things when needed. There's a small Co-op etc locally. It's a great base to see some of the Highlands. :)

    Emily2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great place just off the Main Street in Nairn. Was a perfect place to stay to visit tourist attractions in the highlands. The cottage was well equipped and was spotless when we arrived. The fruit basket on arrival was a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again.

Rose Cottage, Fishertown offers accommodation with a spacious living/dining area, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an enclosed patio area. Located 20 minutes east of Inverness, Rose Cottage offers the perfect seaside destination with a short walk to Nairn beach, Golf courses and much more.
Rose Cottage is a recently renovated - 1900's built home located in the historic Fishertown.
Nairn is an attractive seaside town with a prime location on the Moray Firth and is one of the driest and sunniest places in Scotland. In the 19th century, thousands of Victorians flocked to the town reputedly believing in medical properties of the local sea waters. Today the town remains a popular holiday destination with pleasure boats in the harbour, while Nairn Museum explores the town’s history, recalling its time as a busy herring fishing port. Visitors can enjoy the sandy beaches, riverside walks, the promenade with fantastic views over the Moray Firth, golf on two championship golf courses, and plenty of good restaurants and shopping around. During the summer months, Nairn hosts an extensive programme of family entertainment and major events including the Nairn Agricultural Show and the Nairn Highland Games.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rose Cottage in Nairn. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and pleasantly furnished. The location couldn't be better - situated in the pittoresque Fishertown and five minutes walk from the beach in one direction and from the town centre in the other. Many interesting places to visit in the area, beautiful scenery and glorious beaches. Martin our host was available if needed, but gave us total privacy. We would certainly recommend a stay here and would love to come back ourselves.

  • One of the best Airbnb's I've stayed in. Lovely touches all over the cottage, and in a great location.

    Charles2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful lovely home! We loved our stay here. On top of that, Anne is an amazing host. She filled the home with amenities, even had milk for our tea. The beds and linens are super soft and comfortable and the home is immaculate. What I liked is she took the time to explain everything and had great communication before we arrived (considering we were coming from the United States). The home was bigger than we thought and we enjoyed spreading out and relaxing. It was also grand to do laundry after 14 days of traveling. It also is in a great location in Nairn - and easy walk to grocery, beach and town. We enjoyed it here so much we chose to stay in and watch movies the first day instead of touring. Thank you again Anne for sharing your outstanding home with us!

  • Very nice, spacious apartment with everything required for a comfortable stay. Super location.

  • An ocean view and very short walk to the ocean's edge, the apartment has plenty of room for a couple and is very well appointed. Two bathrooms (1 shower 1 plunge) was a bonus. There is a lift at the front of the building for luggage (on 2nd floor) but we mostly used the side staircase. Easy parking and access. We could have easily stayed longer.

  • Sheila's place was very comfortable, modern and well-equiped. The communication from Sheila prior to our stay was excellent. The location close to Nairn beach is superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you!

  • Cheryl's place is a lovely private space to have as a place to relax and to come back to after exploring the area. I have stayed there twice now and find it comfortable and cosy warm in the winter-time. It's easy to find and nice to be in the original Fishertown area and Cheryl is on hand if you have any questions or need anything.

  • I will return to this lovely cosy place a really relaxing delightful place

    Morag2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryl’s place is perfect. Lovely flat, very cosy, very clean, furnishings all seem quite new. We felt instantly at home. There was bread, butter, shortbread, tea and coffee and some cooking essentials waiting for us in the kitchen, which was much appreciated. The street outside is very quiet at all times. The beautiful beach is only a few minutes walk away. Look for the Sun Dancer restaurant right next to the harbour, and book a table for a meal with a fantastic view. Cheryl’s place will be our first choice on our next visit to Nairn.

    Jack2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time here. A very comfortable house, and the welcoming touches from Cheryl were just lovely!

    Helen2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryl’s place is quiet, comfortable and well equipped. It’s situated in the heart of the historic Fishertown, just a few minutes from the beach and the town centre.

    Lindsay2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • We visited Nairn by train and found the flat was in a convenient location in walking distance of train station, local shops, cafés and restaurants, short bus ride or 15 minute walk from supermarket and only a couple of minutes walk from the stunning beach. With the flat being next to Cheryl's house we knew she was on hand if we needed anything but we felt like we had our own space and privacy. The flat was clean, cosy and comfortable with everything we needed including well equipped kitchen all at a high standard. The shower was great and bed comfortable. Also appreciated the extras like Netflix and some basics in the kitchen when we arrived- bread, milk, tea etc. I would highly recommend Cheryl's place for a relaxing Highland holiday.

The location is super quiet and just 2 minutes walk to the beach. Mitch communicated swiftly via email and a pleasant warm welcome awaited me. I highly recommend staying at Mitch's place.

  • Such a lovely little space which is very clean and nicely decorated. Mitch is a great host and was easy to contact and communicate with, and there were lovely little touches included like a fully stocked fridge, everything you could need to cook, towels, shower gel and hairdryer/iron etc. I would recommend this place and I’d definitely stay here again.

    Hannah2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Communications before we arrived were prompt, Mitch met us on arrival and give a very good overview of the facilities. The property is in first class condition, and the 'breakfast' provisions were excellent. There was ample tea, coffee etc for our two night stay The property is in a very quiet location and within a two minute walk to the championship golf course. An excellent property run by a very friendly host... we couldn't have asked for more. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends and family.

    James2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent hospitality from Mitch. The annex itself, meanwhile, was of a quality and level of cleanliness superior to many rooms at 4-star (and even some 5-star) international hotels. Of particular surprise to us were the little touches, such as eggs, fruit juice, bread, jam and marmalade provided. These were very much appreciated. The half-size dishwasher is also a fantastic inclusion. Would highly recommend a visit.

    Morag2019-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Mitch's annexe is quite superb, on a brilliant location that is easy to reach and very close to the spectacular Nairn Golf Course. This would make the idea place to stay (with everything you could possibly need) for a one-night business trip (Inverness Airport is nearby), for a long weekend with lots to do locally, or as a base for exploring further afield. The bedroom and living facilities are superb, and Mitch is the most welcoming host possible. Thanks.

  • This is a great place to come and stay, it is really clean and tidy with lots of thought full touches, I would fully recommend staying here and would stay here again if I was ever back there on holiday again.

The space easily sleeps 6 which we found out when parents joined us for the last night of our stay. All bedrooms have plenty of space and the large cupboards where good for hiding away large suitcases. Hazel was a friendly host who greeted us at the door with a smile and the keys. Also answered all our questions about things to do with kids and where was good to eat.

  • This is wonderful apartment right on the water front in Nairn. The beach is 30 seconds away. Sarah is a great host and everything was super easy to arrange. Thoughtful touches included some groceries which made it easy on the first morning.

  • We enjoyed our stay in a charming house, ideally located near beaches and walk paths. Our little daughter enjoyed too the toys left for her, and we give you a special thank for the unexpected breakfast with sausages, bread, coffee, orange juice... We felt like at home!!

    Frederic2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah’s place is very close to the harbor and beach, and is easy walking distance to nearly all amenities of Nairn. The apartment was well stocked with a number a food basics which was extremely helpful after a long day(s) of travel. It was spotless and well appointed with a number of appliances (washer, dryer, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, kettle etc.). Sarah was extremely responsive and even extended our checkout so we could clean up after a (very wet) round of golf. Would highly recommend!!!

  • I booked this place 6 months before our trip to Scotland. It was the option that offered the best value in the area. The room is confortable. Elke went beyond to ensure my 11 year old son and I were ok. There were several options to prepare breakfast. I would definitely stay again.

    Johani2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Elke is a lovely host. She and her husband Allaisdar gave us many tips on places to visit. We almost made it to all these places while we were there for two days. The house is very well located near bars and practically on the beach. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed and the bathroom has all the necessary amenities. Thank you Elke and Allaisdar for being lovely hosts.

    Paulo2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Elke is a perfect host who gives you the feeling of being at home right from the start. Room and house are comfortable and very cozy. • Lovely flat, close to everything you need in Nairn - with outstanding hosts and a beautiful, new, stylish space! We just loved our stay in this comfortable flat. About the size of a hotel room with living and cooking space, a convenient little kitchen and a darling fold-away table. The decorative touches, such as the battery operated tea lights, placemats and sea kelp soaps were such a lovely touch. We had our own entrance with all the privacy we wanted, while just a few steps away, our wonderful hostess, Paula, was ready to help us with anything we needed - including heavier duvets for a cooler night. The added bonus of milk, tea and biscuits were such a kind offering to us weary travelers - and prevented us having to go to the store, during our overnight stay. What could be more considerate? We loved walking the shores of the Nairn beachfront and enjoyed visiting the nearby Brodie Castle. We wouldn’t have gone had it not been for Paula’s kind suggestion - but we’re so glad we did! Easy access from the roadway made this a great stopover for us. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you, again, Paula!

    Sara2019-09-02T00:00:00Z

  • Very well equipped and clean apartment. Great host and plenty to see and do around the area. Would certainly stay again.

    Maureen2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this apartment and its location. Very importantly for our six year old son, it is close to Nairn's beautiful beaches :) We were given a super friendly welcome to the apartment and were offered lots of tips on things to do in the town and further afield. We couldn't have asked for more in the apartment - it was spotless, well-appointed, comfortable, quiet and has pretty views of the river. We'd love to return!

    Kim2019-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is absolutely great and recommended. The coordination and instructions by Hazel went very smoothly. The equipment is at a very high level and everything was found in a clean condition. The location of the apartment is optimal. Short walk to the beach, the city and the two golf courses. The environment is very quiet. A dedicated and secure parking for the vehicle is available. The information folder is very detailed and contains a lot of useful suggestions for possible activities. In addition, Hazel has made a number of recommendations for leisure activities. We felt very comfortable in the apartment.

    Guido2019-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of the best properties you are likely to get in Nairn. Go for it! We had an absolutely pleasant stay at Sheena's place. The flat had everything we could ever ask for. Totally beyond expectations! We would any-day opt to stay at the same place if we were to come back for another visit. Hazel and Sheena are very professional and hospitable.

    Abhish2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Sheena's very comfortable flat has everything you will need for a quiet, peaceful stay in Nairn. It is a modern apartment, overlooking the river in the interesting wee village of Fishertown, on the outskirts of Nairn. The local beaches are breath taking even on a cold windy day. It's in a great location for getting around all the small towns along the coast, many of which have their own beautiful beaches. The only downside was that some of the historic buildings in the area were not open to the public until April or May so I'll have to return at a later date. Thanks Sheen and Hazel.

    Susie2019-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • All fantastic! Can not fault this apartment at all, warm, clean, comfortable, quiet......everything we were looking for for our short break. Very well equipped and friendly owners who meet you at the apartment to explain everything to you. Only negative is that we couldn’t stay longer!! We’ll definitely recommend to family and friends and will be back ourselves. Thank you!!

    Emma2018-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this Airbnb. Hazel met us to show us around the home and was so kind and thoughtful; she'd left tea, biscuits, and milk for us! The flat is beautiful, modern, and pristine. The back windows look out over the River Nairn, so you can watch the ducks and swans playing in it. The flat is close to the beach and harbor and it's just a few steps to the high street and all kinds of shops and restaurants. We stayed there for 8 nights and used it as a base for exploring the Scottish Highlands, which was perfect! I highly highly recommend this flat!

Traditional stone cottage close to coast and sandy beaches. Very well-presented and equipped. Welcoming wood-burner, private garden with seating and gas BBQ, Wi Fi. Friendly highland town with excellent facilities. Inverness 16 miles.
The town of Nairn itself has much to offer but the main attraction has to be its beautiful stretch of golden sandy beach where visitors can walk for miles taking in the unspoilt beauty of the area. Pretty little shops and cafés are dotted around and if you continue northwards along the Moray Firth coastline there are an abundance of small fishing villages, each with their own history and visitor attractions.
  • Lovely cottage, scones and homemade jam on arrival were a nice touch. Log burning fire was amazing. Will definately be back.

  • Great cosy house in a nice quiet area just off the main road but also within walking distance of the golf course and beach (about 15 mins walk). This was ideal for us visiting family and friends from Forres to Inverness. Great house and nice touches - we were there over Christmas but of course were not bringing decorations. Archie had a Christmas tree and lights up - excellent! Great location for Nairn and surrounding area. Perfect if you are going to a function at the Newton hotel which is 2 mins walk. Great hospitality and Archie has full focus on your safety and comfort. Great place!!

  • This is an excellent place to stay. The house is super comfortable and very clean. A great location for visiting distilleries and golf clubs in the region, or just sightseeing. Ideal for a family.

  • This house is very comfortable, spacious, and homey. We had everything we needed and more for a great stay. The highlight, however, was Archie's amazing hospitality. We so enjoyed meeting and chatting with him. He provided some great local recommendations and even gave us rides to and from the train station. We would happily stay at Archie's place again and highly recommend it to anyone else.

The Wee One is a delightful Victorian terraced cottage situated in one of the 'nooks & crannies' off the main shopping street in the the seaside town of Nairn. The cottage was an old workshop / store and may well be the smallest, but most perfectly formed property you'll ever stay in! The cottage was renovated in spring 2014 which included fitting a new kitchen and restoring the original floor boards. The cottage is a double bedroomed property. Bathroom with electric shower.
  • Lovely, comfortable home away from home. Very quiet and steps to shops and restaurants. Grace was very flexible and accommodating.

  • Such a cosy and well equipped little cottage . The bed was really comfy and although a small cottage every nook and cranny had been utilised well. Great equipment if you needed to cook meals . Although no views from the cottage , because the weather was beautiful we spent our time on Nairn beach which was just beautiful . The big bowl of fruit was a lovely surprise and then chocolate too which we rather enjoyed .

  • This amazing accomodation is conveniently placed in the beautiful coastal town of Nairn, just off the High Street, where there is a good selection of eateries, coffee shops, bakers and other retail outlets. The accomodation itself is clean, comfortable and appears much bigger than we expected. Its design has been carefully thought out and works perfectly. A nice surprise upon our arrival was a welcome basket of fruit and Bailys chocolate, which was a really nice touch, thank you Grace. The beautiful town beach is within 10 mins walk away and Inverness, with its gothic architecture is just a 25 minute car journey, or 15 minutes by train from the nearby railway station. There are also ample areas close by in which to walk your furry friends. We would definitely recommend the Wee One and would certainly stay there again

  • A great little place to stay in Nairn, very central but very quiet, comfortable and stylish. Grace is a great host, I can highly recommend it.

  • Apartment had a really modern but cosy interior. Really well kitted out and close to the high street.

  • We had a wonderful stay at the Wee One in Nairn. There is so much to see in the Highlands and the Moray Firth area and this little house makes a perfect base. The house is small and comfy, and Grace is a lovely host who can steer you to the best local restaurants and places to visit. We had a slight glitch in the WiFi, which Grace fixed immediately. After being in London & Edinburgh it was great to relax in the Wee One, near a nice beach, shopping and restaurants. There’s no parking right by the house but it’s not a problem as there’s a big public car park very close by. Be sure and get scones a few doors down on High St. and eat at One Two Two ..fabulous!!

  • The “wee one” was incredibly cute and comfortable, and Grace was a great host. We really enjoyed our stay in Lairg.

  • The wee one is a great place to stay, it’s nice and quite even though it’s just off the high street. It’s equipped with everything you would need for a stay.
