  • Stella’s place is a cozy house where you will have a private room. The common area is well decorated and you feel as in a wooden house. The room is large but the bed is a twin. Overall a very good time there.

The Country Guest Quarters room is in a completely separate part of the house which offers great privacy and includes a private bathroom. In October 2018 we added a small sitting area which is totally private in the evenings and weekends, and mostly private during the days. We added this area as a bonus and did not raise our price! The house is in a safe, quiet, friendly community.
The bedroom is adjoined by an office that may be available as a BONUS to use in the evenings if you require workspace. The office is not used during the evenings or weekends! There is a sitting area separated from the office by room dividers. This area is now part of the Airbnb! (FYI, Airbnb room is up stairs in the bonus room above the garage) Note: The room has no windows to the outside, except for the skylight in the sitting area. Fans and A/C units are provided. The yard lets you feel as you are surrounded by nature. There are no other visible houses during the summer months. We are available for a lot of interaction, or no interaction, this is entirely up to the guests. The neighborhood is very quite, very safe, and we are friends or family with almost everyone around. If you do not have your own transportation this is not the place for you. We are at least 30 minutes from the nearest taxi, and buses and trains are out of the question! This is a bedroom community about 90 minutes from Boston. We have a wonderful cat the grandchildren named Orange Meow,,, which is mostly in his own area or outside, but he is never in your room. We are non drinkers and appreciate our guests doing the same. We don’t want any alcohol related problems, including coming back drunk from a night out. Relax and enjoy a cozy and comfortable stay!
Quiet, safe, friendly. We know most of the neighbors, and many of them are family.
  • Amazing as always.

  • a great place to stay!

    Lou2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • John's room was beautiful, very well supplied and clean. The directions were clear and easy to understand. All I need was a bed to crash in for two nights, but what I found was a little vacation and a comfortable space to relax in. The location is beautiful, as well as his space. I will be looking to stay there again, if I should ever need a place to stay in the area again. Thanks John.

Welcome to The Porch! Ready for a mini vacation, or just a place to hang out at, or work from? You are most welcome here! . This cozy cabin is very flexible and user friendly! It is private to only your group! The downstairs with all it offers, is for one or two person rentals. The upstairs is fully available if your group is more than two. This building is in the backyard of our home, which you can see listed on our Airbnb site, Other info is listed there also! Info book is in room!
You will find the place has plenty of peace and quite. A large yard, a long driveway, and a huge packing lot, and an additional driveway almost to your door. The entire building is yours, and it has a key pad door lock for easy entry. Solar light brighten your way! While you are at our place, you are only 20 minutes from Mt. Monadnock, the most climbed Mt. in the USA. Also, plenty of other hiking and great views, small villages. 1.5 Hours to the beach, 2.5 hrs. to the White Mountains, 1.5 hrs to Boston.
Our neighborhood is made up a mostly friends! They are good people and you can feel very safe to take walks. There is a gravel country road with little traffic across the road from our driveway if you prefer that. Our little village of New Ipswich, is about 2 miles away. There is great pizza, a good cafe, coffee, a gas station, but not too much else! Just peace and quite! With a car there is so much to be seen and explored. We have a book in your room that will explain in detail more of these things. As I noted in the space section, you are close to lots of outdoor activities and sight seeing. You will get more information in the booklet that will be in your room, or by asking your host!
  • The "Porch" is super cozy. Well heated, comfy bed, nice bathroom, space to make coffee, or prep sandwiches for the day. Even though there's not a full kitchen, it was more than enough space for us to do what we needed. And the basics (coffee, granola bars, hot chocolate) were provided. Easy access to New Ipswich, Peterborough (where we check out a cool brewery) and Mt Monadnock. Generally a really sweet spot. John was quick with communication and very friendly. We didn't end up meeting in person, but it felt like if we'd needed anything he would have been quick to respond.

  • Amazing! very thoughtful and an experienced host!

    Henry2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so cute!! Feels and looks like just a hotel, but the price is way better! Loved it!

    Jasmín2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful setting, clean and quiet.

    Ken2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Porch is a super cute and cozy spot. We loved our stay there. It’s basically a tiny house and it was very well thought out and designed. There’s lots of thoughtful touches like coat hooks, shelves, nooks for storage, and a good number of outlets. Everything is super clean and the place looks modern and pretty. The bed is comfortable and the WiFi is good enough for streaming. I love the rocking chairs and Christmas lights on the porch, though it was too cold for us to really enjoy them. The stars at night are beautiful and I could see myself hanging out on the porch in milder weather just star gazing. Be aware that the little house is quite close to the main house, which has its pros and cons. Being close means John can lend a helping hand if it’s every needed and you feel very safe. On the flip side, if you were looking for a bit more solitude, then it’s not the most ideal. However, you can’t really hear anything when you’re in the house and neither can they so it’s quite peaceful. There’s great hiking close by and good restaurants too. If you’re vegetarian, I recommend checking out the town of Peterborough. Be aware that there is only a mini fridge, microwave, and toaster oven in the unit. You can definitely make a little food with that if you get creative, but if you wanted a full kitchen then this is not the right place. We brought snacks like fruit and crackers and we were just fine. The hosts provide coffee, tea, popcorn, and other snacks and amenities. There’s not a lot of counter space. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. John is very welcoming and it’s clear they take good care of their properties. I recommend this spot any time of year.

This walkout basement is newly renovated with a bathroom and a kitchen with brand new appliances. You also have access to an outdoor barbecue right outside the unit and a fenced backyard. Our house has access to a private lake nearby as well. Conveniently located near Cushing Academy, Wachusett Mountain Ski Area, Wachusett Brewery, Watatic Mountain. Minutes to the grocery store, tavern, and pizza places downtown. We love our house and hope you enjoy it as much as we do :)
All the photos shown inside the unit are private to the guests. The kitchen allows guests to enjoy meals home away from home, or the guest can use the outdoor barbecue when the weather gets nice. Our house is a colonial with two adults and a dog living on the top two floors. We also have bunnies and chickens who live outside.
This is a quiet residential neighborhood. All our neighbors are friendly and helpful. There is a private lake about 5 mins walk from us.
  • The backyard animals are entertaining and quiet, as I always had a good sleep! The kitchen has a full refrigerator, and there's a functioning modern hot-plate for home-cooked meals. The kitchen counter is set up for a couple at the island, and there is a dining table for 2 next to it. There are LOTS of storage areas for large luggage in the benches on either side of the fireplace and under the staircase. The fireplace acts as a room heater and has a non-fire light display in the face of the unit. It was quite suitable and kept me warm when the evenings became cool. The air conditioning worked just fine. A very comfortable place to stay.

Enjoy comfort and relaxation in this stylish, clean and spacious apartment. The Carriage House has a living area, kitchenette, private full bath downstairs, two bedrooms upstairs (one queen and one twin), a deck and screened porch. The decor is part country, part modern, and all comfort! The upstairs bedrooms are adjacent; you pass through the master (queen) bedroom to access the smaller (twin) bedroom. This is ideal for a couple with a child or groups where full privacy is not a concern.
The Carriage house has a comfortable living area with free WiFi, cable / smart TV, or you can curl up and enjoy a book or DVD (we keep a few on hand). In the kitchenette, help yourself to coffee or tea; there's also a toaster, microwave, and mini-fridge. The bedrooms have hardwood floors, clock radio, lamps, blankets, linens and pillows. Adjust the thermostat to your liking and enjoy a comfortable stay! (Since the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is on the first level, if you’re alone and you’d prefer to sleep on the ground floor, let us know and we'll set up a twin bed in the living area.) The Carriage House is an ideal location for enjoying Southern New Hampshire's many natural and cultural attractions.
We’re easy walking distance from Main Street, Wilton, known for its Town Hall Theater, Nelson’s Candies, art galleries, antique shops and more. We’re also near the Wilton Public Library, an architectural gem. We’re 15 minutes from the famous Pickety Place in Mason, NH, and 20 min. or so from Parker’s Maple Barn. Just half an hour away you can hike Pack Monadnock or it’s twin, Mount Monadnock. The area has beautiful fall foliage, ample hiking trails, apple picking, and skiing.

This is a very cozy guestroom for 1 person with twin-sized bed, lightly furnished, closet and window. The home is a spacious 3-bedroom cape. Bathrooms & common areas are shared & you are welcome to join us for meals. Coffee & tea are available in the kitchen. Off-street parking is available. We're conveniently located near Fitchburg State University, downtown, trails & state parks. There is limited weekday bus service just a short walk from our home, but you will likely need a car.
The room can accommodate only one person. It's about 100sf, which isn't very big. It's ideal for short stays, or as one guest says, it feels monastic. There is plenty of storage for extended stays. We live in a 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath, two-story, cape. You're welcome to use any of the common areas to relax and enjoy your stay, such as use of the kitchen, living room and backyard. We have limited off-street, tandem parking and there are no parking restrictions in our neighborhood. If space isn't available, or you don't want to be blocked in, there is street parking on our quiet, rural road.
We live in a quiet, almost rural, neighborhood on the corner of a 4-way intersection. There's a house on each corner. Lots of trees and minimal traffic. Sometimes we can hear route 31, but that's rare. You will have nearly no interactions with the neighbors. There's a small commercial area at a rotary near our home. There are a couple restaurants and ice cream place. A short drive father to downtown there's a café, local brewery, and some restaurants. Some of our local favorites: Dario's Restante, 187 River St Mill No 3, 85 Westminster St River Styx Brewery, 166 Boulder Dr Strong Style Coffee, 37 Cushing St Zapata Mexican Cocina, 23 Lunenburg St ::Some local attractions or destinations:: Boston - 1.25 hours/60 miles Fitchburg State University - by car: 5 minutes/2.1 miles; by foot: 30 minutes/1.6 miles Greenfield, MA - 1.1 hours/51 miles Harvard, MA - 30 minutes/18 miles Harvard University - 1 hour/44 miles; via public transit: 2.5 hours Keene, NH - 55 minutes/37 miles Leominster State Forest - 20 minutes/8 miles Leominster, MA - by car: 20 minutes/7 miles; by public trans: 1.33 hours Wachusett Mountain Ski Area - 20 minutes/11 miles Worcester - 40 minutes/30 miles If you view our Guidebook at the bottom of this page, I have noted a number of local places. We also have free passes to the Fitchburg Art Museum available for guests.

Come for the lovely country setting, amenities, neighborhood, convenience, privacy, spaciousness, and the comfortable beds. Close to many wonderful hiking and biking paths, rail trails, Wachusett ski area, and Windblown xc-skiing in NH. WI-FI, TV (with Hulu and Netflix), Refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker, reading lights, table area, continental breakfast, parking... no extra cleaning fee. Good for couples, solo and business travelers. (Key pad for late arrivals) Everyone is welcome!
We have a king bedroom suite with a private bath, that is very well appointed, spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. There is a private entrance, it is never a shared space. The Ginger Bed can be booked as a one or two room suite, the second bedroom has a queen bed. (See our other listing The Ginger Bed King and Queen Suite, which is perfect for families or friends). The Ginger Bed is in Ashburnham MA. Ashburnham MA is home to The Cushing Academy, Frederick Historic Piano Collection, it has great hiking at nearby Mount Watatic and Mount Monadnock... and winter fun at the Wachusett mountain ski area, and Windblown xc-skiing in NH. We are also near the Westminster School, Franklin Pierce University, the Colonial Hotel (a popular wedding venue), and a few summer camps. Ashburham is a sweet small town founded in 1765 and a beautiful area in all seasons. The fall is stellar! We are in town within walking distance to The Cushing Academy, other sites, stores and restaurants.

Bring your own tent, RV, or tiny home and camp on our 10 acre property. To be clear: this is a low cost primitive campsite. Bring your own gear, including a flashlight. No water, sewer, or electric hookups available. Park in the driveway, not at the campsite. Port a Potty and solar shower tent available on property, but a distance from the campsite. We are generally happy to help w anything you’ve forgotten, if you ask. Washer and dryer in basement. WiFi works near the house.
Great access to local hiking. Abuts (unpaved) rail trail for walks or biking. Fire pit available for careful use, subject to fire warden’s approval. Camp wood available on site.
We’re near a numbered route, so there is road noise, otherwise our neighborhood is safe and quiet. Folks stop and say hi, and most everyone knows their neighbors. Gardner MA, Keene and Peterborough NH are within half an hours drive. Grocery, Walmart, etc are approximately 5 miles away

It's time for you to be tucked in bed! Your room is a spacious area with room to relax and watch TV from the recliner or bed! You have a small frig, microwave, coffee pot and a basket of goodies when you arrive! On occasion you may be asked if the bathroom can be shared only during sleeping hours!
We are in a smaller town right on the border of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. If you drive to the east...one hour you’r at the coast, the west 45 minutes and you are in quaint little towns that are surrounded by mountains to explore on the various hiking trails,to the south and on a good day in 45 minutes you’r in Boston, on a bad day with traffic it may take you an extra 20 minutes, and if you go north, the white mountains! But, if you are here at the house just a few steps are are hiking trails created by the Beaverbrook Assc.

  • Comfort and her family are wonderful! The place is very nice, and very comfortable. I fell right to sleep the first night. The place is exactly how it looks so there is no misrepresentation. She is courteous, welcoming, very nice, professional, as is the rest of the family. The first night i got there, because I was so tired and I didn’t have the chance to eat, I was offered some various foods I could make right in the room and she even had her children go get me some options from their own cabinet. Although I didn’t eat anything, that was such a kind gesture, and I knew right away I’d like it there. There’s a refrigerator in the room with amenities like a microwave, tea, coffee, cable tv, wifi. The place is very clean, and I hope in the future I can stay again.

We would be happy to welcome you to our spacious walk-out basement apartment that features a comfortable and stylish living space. The apartment decor is warm and contemporary, with a large living and eating area, modest kitchenette, bedroom with queen size bed, and fully appointed bathroom. We are close to downtown Milford and 30 minutes from Nashua and Manchester, as well as an easy drive to Merrimack Premium Outlets and Crotched Mountain Ski and Ride.
The newly finished basement apartment was constructed with you in mind as we brainstormed our own experiences with AIRBNB and incorporated them in our design. It is an ideal space for a couple’s getaway or for the business traveler looking for a comfortable place. We are very proud of the entire apartment which reminds us of the very best that we want. In the living area you will find a 65” high def flat screen TV with Comcast connection, free WIFI, and Alexa enabled sound system for music enjoyment. In the kitchenette there is seating for 4, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee and tea. The bedroom has a queen size bed, bedside lamps with USB ports, and a make-up mirror. Ironing board and iron are also available. The bathroom is fully appointed with large shower and complimentary bathing products. A light breakfast (pastries, fresh fruit, juice) will be provided daily. A double high queen size air mattress with bedding is also available upon request.
Our home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Milford. Although Milford is a small town, it does not lack for things to do, throughout all four seasons. Our restaurants offer a variety of taste, and entertainment is available on the weekends. Hiking trails are all around and a ski area is not far, giving you a chance to explore nature without driving far away. The city’s industrial park is expanding and we made every effort to provide a place for those professionals who may be visiting these local businesses.
  • Provided awesome recommendations for food, extremely welcoming and great environment. The home is in a beautiful area and there is plenty to do. Thank you again!

Perfect for the solo adventurer or business traveler, or a cozy space for two. At 250 sq ft including all storage, Tastefully Tiny makes maximum use of space. Custom cherry cabinets, bamboo floors, and a fold down ambrosia dinette are some of the special touches. Spanish tile floor and claw foot tub add to the charm of the bath. Futon folds down into a full sized bed for sleeping or doubles as a couch for reading or watching tv. Our price reflects that finishing touches are still ongoing.
Conveniently located between Keene, Peterborough, and Gardner, MA, we offer a rural location close to a numbered route. Abuts Cheshire Rail Trail, and close to many other local hikes. Mount Monadnock nearby. The apartment is within our old farmhouse. Squeaky floors, the occasional mouse, and other eccentricities are part of the charm. Because of proximity to numbered route there is road noise.
We live in a safe, usually quiet, and relaxed neighborhood. We know and get along with most neighbors within a mile of here. Folks generally wave as they drive by.

Ideal place for people who like nature and outdoor activities. It is close to numerous parks and playgrounds, including 4300 acre Leominster state forest, a popular hiking destination. In the summer, crow hill pond and paradise pond within the state forest are popular places for summer picnic and swimming getaways. In the winter, state forest is the place for cross country skiing, snow showing and snowmobiling. Also, Thoreau’s Walden Pond is a short drive away.
It is a quite neighborhood. However, a shopping mall is about 10 minutes driving distance away. A commute rail which can take you to Boston is about 5 minutes driving distance away.

Large, open room with exposed beams and rustic feel. Wonderful views of 15 acres and gentlemen's farm. The working fireplace adds another level of relaxation. Private bathroom and separate entrance. We have an array of animals and children so noise is a probability during the day (roughly 730am-9pm).
The suite has a comfortable and relaxed farmhouse feel. There is a queen bed and full pull-out sofa. The room has a working fireplace. Skylights make suite sunny and airy. Private bathroom with small walk in shower (no bath). A small eating area with coffee, water, microwave, mini fridge, and snacks help you to relax after travelling. There is a door between the suite and the kitchen of the main farmhouse, this door is kept locked. You will hear my family when we are in the kitchen! In the cooler months, suite is heated by a small heater. Although the heater works great, guests will notice the heater is not perfect. In the warmer months, a window unit AC is used to cool off the space. WiFi is easily accessed through phone/,computer settings. We are located in a rural area, so WiFi is not always predictable. My husband works from home so he is very diligent in keeping internet accessible. If you have questions or need help, text is best way to communicate!
Pepperell is a quaint New England town with so much to offer. The town itself has hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, antiquing, sky diving, and so much more! Within an hour of Boston, skiing, and beaching!
  • Very charming property to explore and stay at. The dogs were very friendly and a nice bonus for a couple of dog lovers!

  • Got there after dark and left esrly in the morning so I didn't get to see much. Decor is wonderful Americana. Something smelled wonderful like potpourri. Fun to see the night sky through the skylights and sunrise through thr window. Great bonus to find packages of toothbrushes in bathroom if you forgot yours.

    Diana2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Cassie’s place was perfect. To the morning sunrises, walks around the property, many more little touches (that you have to see for yourself) and Cassie being such amazing host. This is a must stay.

    Kimberly2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy stay in a farmhouse. Cassie has stocked the Airbnb with literature about the local area and its history. Charmed by the friendly potbellied pig and miniature horses!

  • This is the quintessential New England country experience with the history and style for anyone planning to visit the region. Off the beaten path so it is quiet yet close enough to all the necessary conveniences. The apartment is clean and private. Cassie provides all the touches to make it welcoming, warm environment. The pets are friendly and lots of fun too!

    Brian2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a sweet retreat in the New England countryside. Cassie, her son and all the wonderful animals we met added to our enjoyment. The room was very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. Plenty of amenities. We enjoyed dining in nearby Groton, Filho’s for dinner, Salt and Light for breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Martha2019-11-02T00:00:00Z

  • The space is very cozy. On a cold rainy night the heater quickly heated up the suite. Everything was very clean. Bed was super comfortable and so was the couch. Nice to have flowers on the tables and a coffee maker. The shower was hot -- wonderful! and bathroom very clean. Decor is very nice. I loved it.

This cozy, bright apartment offers a ton of natural light and the convenience of being only a short walk (10 minutes) or drive (2 minutes) to downtown Milford (or "the oval" as we call it here in town)! Please note the space is on the second floor and requires ascending a full flight of stairs.
This is a sunny two-bedroom apartment near the heart of Milford. Guests will have use of the master bedroom (queen bed at the front of the apartment, through the French doors), second bedroom (with a queen bed at the rear of the apartment, through the kitchen), the living room (with a futon), the kitchen, and an office/kid space. This apartment is on the second floor and requires the ability to ascend a full flight of stairs. Guests are invited to use the yard, patio, swing set and playscape!
This is a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly and the area is walkable. The area has a true New England vibe, with beautiful homes and a downtown filled with locally owned shops.

  • It was great working with Erin. She was very hospital and kind and responsive. The air bnb was clean, cute and quiet. The location is great in comparison to Milford!

    Linnea2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • We found a clean, neat apartment with everything we needed for our overnight stay. The accommodations could easily support a longer stay and 4 more people. Communication with Erin was quick and easy. The check in process was perfectly described and couldn't have been easier. Definitely within easy walking distance to the downtown, downhill on the way to town, uphill on the way back. We would happily stay here again if we need another night in Milford.

This Cozy camper is on our back yard right next to the Bike/Walk trail (Rails to Trails). Private little kitchen with stove and oven, small bathroom and dining room table, storage cabinets... and a sofa bed. And since our house is just a few feet away we will always be available if there is anything you need. It has cold/hot water, heat and WIFI is available but it isn't the greatest, since this is a rural area.
  • Very clean and was easy to navigate!

    Elizabeth2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable week! Convenient location to all sorts of places. Our "cozy camper" was an ideal place to relax and rest up for our planned outings to Intrim, Peterborough, Milton, and unplanned adventures. We enjoyed staying there immensely.

    Patsy2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived at night. It’s kind of hard to find little bit cause it was so dark. But it was a great place though!!!

    Toonyada2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • It was a nice cozy camper. If we’re in the area again we’ll stay here again.

  • This is a really cool RV tucked away from the house. You get lots of privacy. It's near a tasty diner, gas station, and the highway.

    John2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Needed a place to sleep on the way back down from Acadia, we adored this camper, it's pretty much just as described. It was open when we arrived and all we had to do was close all the windows and turn on the heat to warm it up a little before going out to dinner (we loved Harlow's Pub 15 min away!) We checked in after dark and there was no interaction with the host more than just a few welcome texts, which took a lot of pressure off of us. It was nice to have hot water for a shower after the cold nights and the pay-to-shower spots up in the park. Clean towels were provided, which was also lovely since we only had our thin and small travel towels. Thanks so much!

  • RV enthusiasts will appreciate this little camper. It’s perfect for a New Hampshire vacation—affordable, clean and comfy. Located at the end of Matthew’s backyard, it’s just steps from an awesome hiking/biking path. The Cathedral of the Pines and Kimballs Farm are minutes away and there’s a free public beach on Contoocook Lake. Matthew was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We plan on staying there again the next time we are in the area.

    Olivia2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet even though the house was fully booked. Nicole was great at communicating with me as I went through Plan B and Plan C in case of snow, which turned out in the end to be rain. Check in was easy and there were lights on for me to find my way. This is my second time here, and I'd definitely come back.

Enjoy a relaxing stay in an 1850 farmhouse in beautiful Peterborough. The room is comfortably furnished with a queen bed and seating area with private bath. Coffee and tea service, as well as an in-room refrigerator/freezer give you many of the comforts of home. The private entrance leads to a small patio with seating area in a shade garden. Conveniently located just two miles from the heart of town where you'll find galleries, antique shops, yoga studios, live music, pubs, and more!
This property was originally a sheep farm, which is typical of southern NH. The house has an attached barn, adjoined by two smaller buildings that were originally used to store farm equipment. Attached barns are unique to a specific region of southern Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and northern Massachusetts. All of the buildings except for the barn have been updated for the comforts of modern living. We are actively working to restore the house and landscape, which in recent years had been neglected. We're happy to give you a tour of our projects and welcome your questions! All structures on the property are old frame timber. To protect against the risk of fire, we kindly ask that guests refrain from smoking anywhere on the premises. Use of open flames is prohibited. Vaping products are also not allowed. Thank you for observing these rules during your stay and helping us to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for future guests!
The house is the oldest building on this short stretch of road north of the hospital. Directly across the street is a wooded lot with maple and pine trees, which lends a feeling of rural quiet and fall color. Not far from the house, you can find the Contoocook River and a boat launch to the north, and Sheiling State Forest to the south. We have easy access to NH-Rte. 202, so you'll have no trouble getting out to explore the region!
  • Jan's place is clean, comfortable, and quaint. Located close to the hospital (the reason for my visit) and close to downtown restaurants and shops. If I return to the area, I will certainly stay here again.

    Erica E.2020-03-05T00:00:00Z

It's a quiet, private, and super clean space with plenty of room to relax, making in the perfect homebase for great New England adventures. Jan was even kind enough to provide coffee and tea, which made the morning even better. Can't say enough good things - stay here!!

Beautiful, private campsite situated on 1,800' of *SPECTACULAR* riverfront property for you to enjoy! The Snug Life is located on our 52-acre Certified Family Forest, right on the Souhegan River. The 10'x12' canvas tent comes with a queen-size bunk bed & 2 air mattresses, and a wood stove for the colder months. We are dog-friendly & look forward to sharing the Snug Life experience with you. The snuggle is real... What is the Snug Life? Find out on the usual social medias: @snuglifecamping
Enjoy the solitude and sound of the river rushing by! It's your very own private riverfront campsite. The 12'x10' canvas tent is set up with a bunk bed containing 2 Queen-sized air mattresses, 2 storage end-tables and a wood-burning stove - the Souhegan River is your front yard. There's a tote full of classic games and an additional privacy tent for the solar shower stowed under the bed, some cookware and cooking utensils are also included, and if you decide to bring your dog(s) along: a repositionable tie-out cable and stake for your pupper's safety, along with biodegradable bear-sized doggy-poop bags. Just scoop it up, tie it up & throw it in the trash can (we also provide the trash bags)... Outdoors you'll find a fire pit with removable cooking grill grates, a picnic table with benches and a prep-station with an attached bottle-opener and a box for outdoor food storage.* There's a single-person privacy tent set back about 15’ from the tent itself containing the camp-loo, toilet paper and sani-bags. The sani-bags are landfill friendly and biodegradable. They contain non-toxic natural enzymes that trap and break down solid waste, and are proven to be a 99.99% effective barrier against the spread of harmful diseases like E.coli, C.diff, and MRSA. Line the loo with one, and when your business is done, tie it up and discard it in the trash can located outside, next to the deck. *It's never a good idea to store food inside your tent when you camp. :-) Upon arrival you'll find a garden cart or an oversize wheelbarrow (or both-depending on the season) to help transport your gear to the site, and a 5-gallon container of potable water. It is a hike to the campsite (about 0.2 miles from parking, but totally worth the effort to get there), so pack accordingly. We’ve also found that it’s usually very wet at the lowest point of the trail - so boots are a must. **THIS IS CAMPING** There is no electricity at the campsite. We do not provide you with running water (aside from the rushing river and the potable water). We do not provide face-cloths, towels or toiletries. We also do not provide bedding; however, we do keep two (2) very thick wool blankets at the site to put down on top of the air mattress(es) underneath your bedding to help take the edge off the cold and provide you with a layer of comfort. The tent is not insulated. This means it will get chilly or cold during winter and cooler months. It does have a wood-burning stove for heat; it will likely get smoky inside the tent before a fire is well-enough established to create a draw up the chimney pipe. It should disperse once everything starts to warm up. A small number of pots, pans and cooking utensils are kept at the site for your use, but we do not supply cups, plates, eating utensils, napkins, etc., unless specifically requested in advance. Additionally, if you use any of the pots, pans or utensils, please either wash them OR return them to the main house when you check out, so we can wash them and return them to the campsite. Above all, we want you to enjoy your experience. For this reason, we are working very hard to set appropriate expectations. Camping can be challenging and downright hard in the winter, but also incredibly enjoyable and rewarding when well-prepared. We welcome any and all feedback and will continuously work to ensure your Snug Life experience is one to remember fondly.
Located on the eastern boarder of the Monadnock Region, Wilton, NH is a beautiful town with a strong local community. There are amazing restaurants that sell and produce locally sourced food, Farmers Markets, country stores and historical landmarks to name a few. There is so much to see, visit, and do in Wilton, NH. It is a great place to be year round. Just forty minutes outside of Manchester, and just over an hour from Boston. You'll be close to everything, but feel like you're in another world. Lots of local waterfalls, and a surprising amount of culture in our small town.
  • Everything went smoothly and location was nice and scenic. Thank you.

  • Definitely bang for the buck. Bring fire starter wood, you’ll need it to start the bonfire. You’ll also need pillows and comforters. Keep the inside wood stove going all night to keep yourself warm. Absolutely loved it. It was a great unique experience.

  • My boyfriend had never been camping before, and I hadn't been camping since high school. This location was great for our situation! It's a small hike downhill on the way to the campsite. They provide a cart to carry things, but be careful as the trail gets steep in some spots. The actual site itself was really nice. The tent was comfortable, and the supplies were well equipped. The host was super friendly on the phone when I had a quick question. It was a great experience overall!

    Bianca2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place is an absolute gem! The tent is very cozy and the location right on the river is just spectacular. Also nice to have the dogs roam free seeing there isn’t anyone else around. Will be staying there again.

  • We booked this sight for our engagement photo session and the pictures came out amazing!!! The tent was great because we used it to set up, change our wardrobes and since it was a little chili we had the option of using the stove in the tent to keep warm. The site is about 8 minutes from where you park and the way down is easier then when you go up but the site it amazing and the view is amazing!

  • What a lovely spot! I had a great stay at Lynne's -- the perfect little weekend away. Would recommend!

  • This is wonderful apartment. It was private, well appointed, and immaculately clean. I appreciated the prompt and friendly communication from Lynne prior to arrival. Check in was super simple with self check in. There was plenty of parking next to the apartment. There was abundance of information regarding the apartment and local information. We appreciated the coffee, snacks, and local cream for our coffee. The bedroom upstairs has a large King bed which was super comfortable. Very nice bathroom with amenities. I highly recommend this lovely place.

  • We enjoyed our stay – quiet and quaint. Kristina was very responsive to our messages prior to/during our stay. The only slight issue was the driveway/path was a little icy.
