  • As others on here have noted, the pictures do not do this place justice. The apartment loft is breathtaking and, by far, one of the nicest air bnb’s I have ever stayed at. Dorothy and Barry are extremely responsive, helpful, and respectful of privacy. What a find.

  • Second time staying in this lovely spot. Super place, super hosts!

    Jennifer2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Totally recommend booking this stylish loft! Clean, comfortable and lots of usable space. Enjoyed a 10 day vacation here. We used this as a middle point for traveling to coasts of New Hampshire & Maine, northern & southern Vermont, & New Hsmpshire. Great location very close to I-89 and near I-93. Host provide great recommendations for restaurants & the sights nearby. Book it!

  • Our stay here was absolutely perfect! Barry and Dorothy were wonderful hosts and communicated very well. Their place is relaxing and so very comfortable and so beautiful! It was also very clean and we felt right at home. They have everything you need and their location is great and it’s quiet and charming... we couldn’t be more pleased! Thank you!

    Michele2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely house held by lovely hosts. Dorothy and Barry are courteous, generous, and have thought of all their guests might need. The place is easy to navigate to right off the highway yet on a road removed enough to be serene. The studio itself is warm and full of comfortable furniture, with a well-stocked kitchenette and a skylit bathroom straight out of a spa. A weekend’s stay flew by. Thanks to Dorothy and Barry -

Try the tiny life! Adorable tiny home on wheels, built on a 22’ trailer. Nestled in Hill, NH, but with so much to do...We are 8 miles from Ragged Mountain Ski Resort, 26 miles from White Mountain National Forest, and just a few feet away from snowmobile trails that extend all the way into Canada. Please visit our website littlehouseintheboro to learn more.
The tiny house is parked near our barn, off a quiet dirt road in Hill, NH. It includes a kitchen with the basics, a small bathroom with shower and rv-style toilet, a queen bed in the loft, and a twin bed on the main floor. We rarely use AC, but there is a window unit and also an electric fireplace for cool evenings. We haven’t yet figured out how to get cable and WiFi down to the tiny house. The TV has a DVD player and HDMI port. Depending on what cell service you have, reception may or may not be good. That being said, the outdoors is why most people visit, so we hope you won’t miss the technology.
The beauty of central NH is beyond compare. Lakes, rivers, mountains, forests... We really have it all!
  • Beautiful, quiet property. Gorgeous tiny house and excellent hosts. Far enough away, but close enough if you want a nice dinner or drinks...Amenities are great - a nice little surprise! We had a great time and will be recommending the tiny house to our friends!

  • Barbara’s Tony house was an absolute perfect little getaway. It was very spacious even for being a tiny house. It had great amenities. Highly recommend anyone who wants to experience a tiny house this is the one to try out !

    Anthony2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • I had a blast living the tiny life! Barb provided everything you could imagine to make it a home away from home. If you’re new to the area, there’s a binder with plenty of restaurant suggestions to check out. It’s located in a beautiful, peaceful area and I’ll surely be coming back.

    Katherine2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • First experience with a tiny home and it was more than needed. The beds were so comfortable and the amenities are plenty! The host was very thoughtful and intentional with communication and recommendations, which we really appreciated. *We strongly suggest following the written out directions even though they seem cumbersome instead of putting address in GPS. For us, the GPS kept taking us through the literal forest, not a real road.* Lovely spot to stay in especially in the fall!!

    Amrith2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara is a great host. I arrived to find a plant gracing the reception table and a bowl of fresh fruit. So very welcoming. She checked in to be sure I didn’t need anything or have any questions. The fall scenery was magnificent.

This small cottage is beside a brook. There are two upstairs bedrooms- one with a queen bed and the second with a twin. A second queen bed is located on a screened in porch for seasonal use (June-September usually). A deck provides views of woodsy yard and brook. The cottage is clean and well-equipped but needs some cosmetic repairs—please ask for details if there is concern. Two indoor-only cats are in residence - you can provide cat care or request cat sitter to come in.
The cottage is 1 mile from the center of New London and less than a mile from beautiful hiking trails. It’s quiet and calming and a short drive to skiing, restaurants and shops—perfect as a writing or painting retreat. Two indoor cats will be in residence -please indicate if you will feed them or if you’d prefer a daily cat sitter visit.
This cottage has a rural feeling to it with woods and a stream, but a mile back up the hill brings you to the heart of New London, where you’ll find coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, gift shops, and more.
  • We all felt very comfortable in Kathryn's cottage. We were arriving very late, after a transatlantic flight, and were very tired. Kathryn realized this and made checking in and getting settled very easy.

    Erin2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended cottage. Clean and comfortable with a relaxing screened in room facing trees and a deck. Able to walk to nearby hiking trails. Also near New London and the Flying Goose Brewery. The cottage was well equipped and communication with Kathryn quick and easy. Hope to spend more time in this neck of the woods. Thanks again!

    Jen2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about this space was excellent. Easy to find, interior was very cool and made it surely feel like home. The porch was a nice spot to sit & have a quiet cup of morning coffee, and the beds were very comfy. The main town area is very close nearby, so anything quick (including a good meal) is a stone’s throw away. Loved our stay here- highly recommended!

    Joseph2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cottage close to Pleasant Lake and town. The sleeping porch was fun and unique. It was a wonderful space in which to relax, and it is a great lake house. Kathryn was a good host and helpful with communication.

    Caleb2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy is a fabulous host, very attentive and quick to respond to all of our needs. Her space is immaculately clean, cozy, simple, with a unique closed in porch overlooking a babbling brook!! A rare experience. Priceless!

    Stacey2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Kathryn goes above and beyond to provide n amazing experience! She even delivered an item I left at her house to a town a half hour away, after I had gone! She's an exceptional host.

    Stacey2019-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Kathryn was amazing and was a host beyond our expectations! She was so sweet and gave us so many great recommendations of things to do in the area I would absolutely come back!!!

    Olivia2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Kathryn's place. The covered porch is fantastic, we ate all our meals there and just enjoyed spending time watching the trees and listening to the brook behind. Everything else was also wonderful and comfortable, and the location was great for hikes in the area.

In the heart of Sunapee Harbor is “Topside”, a charming suite for guests who want to engage in the active Sunapee life. Topside is perfect for 2 people and cozy for 4. An efficient use of space offers a queen sized bed, pull out love seat couch(fourth sleeping area is a single-sized air mattress), kitchenette stocked with snacks and basic cooking needs, private bathroom, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, board games, and your own tree-top deck. Very clean, stylish, and comfortable!
Topside is a CLEAN space - after each guest stay we thoroughly wash and sanitize all linens, towels and surfaces to protect our in-coming guests. Your health is important to us!! During your time at Topside, we provide an activities guide for some ideas of "what to do" in the region. In the summer, enjoy a 2 minute stroll to the harbor and taste from the award-winning seasonal restaurants, while sitting on the town patio watching boats come and go. Walk or drive the 1 mile to private Dewey Beach for swimming and all forms of small boating. Or, bring your own boat to launch right in the harbor and park your trailer in our convenient driveway! For hikers, trail runners, or bikers, over 100 miles of a trail network system starts right out our driveway. In the winter, a 10 minute drive brings you to one of the most guest-centered ski mountains in New England. The “We Are Sunapee” experience excels in offering ski and riding instruction at The Learning Center. There are trails for all levels of skiers or riders, with excellent ski lodge accommodations.
We bought our home in Sunapee Harbor in the fall of 2017, envisioning sharing our “Common Cottage” and grounds with family, friends, and guests. The house was built in the early 1900s as a ship captain’s home for one of the captains of the steamers which brought early vacationers from the southern end of the lake to Sunapee Harbor. We imagine the guests on those steamers setting foot on the harbor dock and breathing in the fresh clean air, hearing the lapping of the pristine water, and feeling the sun on their backs. We also imagine our house captain smiling at the joy his venture brought to harbor guests. Wanting to carry that heritage forward, the heart of Common Cottage is to provide a place for people to engage in meaningful experiences.
  • A fantastic Airbnb property! Lisa and Peter are terrific, thoughtful hosts. Check-in/out simple and communication was clear and timely. Spotlessly clean, stylish, every comfort and detail considered. Location to local ski/snowboard resorts can't be beat. Had a great overnight stay and would do so again without hesitation.

    Gary2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Topside is super clean, cozy and has all of the amenities you will need! Lisa supplied a lot of snacks and information for surrounding things to do and see. She replied quickly to any messages and made us feel at home! Highly recommend and will be staying there again in the near future!!

    Matthew2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect spot during my snowboarding trip. Incredibly clean and organized. Breakfast basics stocked in the fridge, comfortable setting, cozy comfortable apartment. Small touches like travel sized toiletries in case you forgot something and phone chargers. Wonderful Airbnb can’t wait to stay here again.

    Andrew2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • My son and I decided to stay here since we had an early morning arrival at Mount Sunapee for a ski race. The convenient location was what we were looking for, but we would definitely return for an even longer stay since it was a wonderful and comfortable place to stay. Lisa was great to communicate with, her check-in instructions and driving details made our arrival very simple, even at night. The studio apartment has everything you need, and the small kitchen was perfect for us to make a quick breakfast before leaving. We did not meet the hosts, but plenty of information is left for the guests to get to know the Sunapee area.

    Kristin2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa is an amazing host who put a lot of thought into the space. My partner and I had a wonderful time, and would definitely go back!

  • Just about the best airbnb I've stayed at, home away from home. The big things: Very tidy and clean, no musty hotel smells Well stocked with bedding and toiletries Simple guidelines, reasonable asks Lisa is clearly a very thoughtful host. The little things: White noise machine, heat, and lights on when you walk in Snacks, coffee, and a few items in the fridge for you as a headstart before getting anything yourself Binder with details, info on some restaurants in the area Would look forward to booking again for a solo/small trip

Enjoy a visit at our dog-friendly one bedroom apartment near Lake Sunapee, New London, Proctor Academy, or the Upper Valley. Gaze out the window, walk in the woods, or play outside. Ski at Ragged or Sunapee, walk to the cross country ski trails next door, snowshoe or skate on the town green. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook a small feast (or hide out for the holidays). Finally take the time to binge watch that Netflix, HBO, or Prime show on our new TV. Fast internet too!
The apartment is perfect for a single, couple, or a small family. Under the day bed is an additional mattress- if you don't mind tight quarters, a family of four could snuggle in! The fenced yard makes it a perfect destination for those traveling with dogs.
The property is shared with a year-round tenant next door who WILL report any partying or loud noises. Otherwise this is a very quiet, private property with no other houses viewable from the apartment's back windows.
  • This place was the perfect stay for a weekend getaway. It was super cozy and very quiet. I went snowboarding at Sunapee and it was about a 30 minute drive which wasn’t bad at all. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get out of the city and chill out a little.

Recently renovated apartment in historic house in the middle of charming Sunapee. Minutes to skiing in winter (deck view of Mt Sunapee) and state park beach in summer, walking distance to harbor. Very quiet, end of street surrounded by woods! Hear summer concerts in the park from the deck. 40 minutes' drive from Concord, Hanover; 30 from Claremont, 60 from Manchester airport. Looking for guests who will respect the property and other tenants. We prefer not to have children under ten years old.
Cozy finished attic apartment in 100 year-old three-family house. One bedroom with king bed, chair in living space folds down into a cot/bed. The couch can also convert into a bed.
Beautiful, quiet, private location with easy access to the best of the Sunapee area. Great location for short-term tenants working or in school anywhere from Hanover to Concord.
  • A nice little place with a good view of the river and hills, quiet but not far from plenty of things to do and good places to eat. The apartment was sparklingly clean and we'll furnished.

The cabin has two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with two bunk beds). Although it can sleep 6, it's probably not big enough for 6 adults. It's perfect for 2-4 adults plus children. There is a bathroom with a shower and one large open area with a living room (woodstove), kitchen and dining area. It's private, quiet, beautiful, but yet 5 minutes to the cute shops and restaurants of New London, 45 minutes from Dartmouth, and 20 minutes to Sunapee and Ragged Mountain Ski areas. Grill, Kayaks, paddle boat, row boat, floating swim raft (no diving please), kitchen supplies, beach toys, large selection of DVDs, games and puzzles. We will not be present during your stay, but will be happy to take calls/questions. Chase pond has about 10 other houses on it. Most of the houses are for summer use only so it's often very quiet and peaceful. We appreciate guest being respectful to others on the pond. You can ride your bike to a minimart/ice cream place, but part of the ride is on a busy street. Driving is the best way to get around. The town including supermarket, farm stand, shops, local playhouse, and restaurants are all a 5 minute drive from the cottage. In the cottage there is a book with information about local attractions. Please note, we do have some life jackets, but you may want to bring your own if you plan to be out on the water. Swimming and other water activity is at your own risk. No motorized boats are allowed on the pond.
  • Cozy and comfortable place with an amazing wood stove, well equipped kitchen and great indoor and outside space. Highly recommend this property.

    Andrew2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay while skiing at Sunapee ... a bit of a drive to the mountain (~25 min), but a great cozy cabin was waiting for us each evening.

    Jason2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • This AIR BNB dar exceeded our quick girls getaway. The home was very cozy, and all the details were so thoughtfully put together. We had the best, albeit the shortest stay, however, we will definitely come back and stay here for another experience! Thank you Tina and family!

    Sush2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Tina's place is great. Just the right amount of rustic with all the necessary amenities. While we did not use the wood stove, the heat works great and the fire pit out back is perfect. The water front cabin is a nice touch but too cold for us to stay out there.

    Phillip2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet and secluded. No cable or internet. We needed that!! Lots of books, movies and quiet. We had dinner at the Flying Goose Brewery. Delicious! It was nice to have coffee, and cooking essentials in the cabin. Very clean. Easy check in and check out. We would stay again.

  • We had a great stay at Rene's Airbnb! It was very clean and comfortable, and so cozy for our weekend away. It's convenient to Mt. Sunapee and walking distance to a number of restaurants in Sunapee. We were there in the winter and it was nice and warm, especially with the extra heating stove on in the kitchen. Rene was super responsive to any questions we had, and provided recommendations for the area. We hope to be back!

Great location- if you don’t feel like cooking the gas station/convenience store with essentials &dunkin at the corner few houses down, the wildwood Smokehouse (and covered bridge up the hill), and the harbor not too far off though some spots are closed for the winter. Kitchen is well equipped and cozy with the stove. Beds are comfy, bathroom spotless. I almost don’t want to write this review and have this place booked up for our next trip!

Tranquil, private, cozy home with a beautiful view on a historic country road. Very close and easy access to many activities and services. Including skiing/adventure park at Mt. Sunapee: 8mi; Pats Peak ski area:12mi; snowmobile trails right outside the door; many hiking/snowshoeing trails just steps outside the door or just a short drive. There are several lakes in the area with public access including the biggest, Lake Sunapee. A lovely, relaxing and beautiful place to stay any time of year.
This scenic getaway is on a lovely historic gravel road lined with beautiful stone walls and overhanging Maple trees. There are plenty of woods and trails to explore right around this cozy little home. There are two decks to enjoy the views. The back deck is quiet and secluded with a fire pit.
Beautiful historic country road with friendly neighbors and lovely scenery (beautiful stone walls). Just a short drive to many local activities and services. There are farmers markets, crafts fairs and antique shops close by.
  • Beautiful location, wonderful host! Would definitely go back!!

  • We came up for a little weekend getaway. There were 4 of us that just wanted to enjoy some peace and quiet, cook some food and just hang out. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cookware and the basic necessities. Overall, I was in love with the way the home is decorated. Very comfy and cozy, but super updated as well. The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets and a comforter - super soft pillows and an extra blanket. The bathroom was great with some amenities as well in case you may have forgotten any at home. Towels, etc all were there. Clean and comfortable from top to bottom! Beautiful mountain views as you enjoy your coffee while looking out all the windows that go from one end of the house to the other. Even watched several deer grazing in the morning AND 2 moose! Can’t wait to go back again!

  • What a quaint home away from home! We couldn’t have asked for more. The beds were SO comfy. They were exactly what you hope for in a vacation. Also the kitchen was so lovely and well stocked! We gathered around the kitchen island in the barstools as we cooked and it felt like we were right at home.

    Cody2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Place was clean, warm, and exactly what we expected! Loved being close to the mountains and spending a cozy night in with friends. Palace pizza up the road was some great eats too!

    Connor2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • The house is exactly as advertised, very clean, and has everything that you need! Check in and check out are so easy and they are very communicative hosts!

Kristen had fresh milk, OJ, eggs , butter, English muffins and condiments all there for us . Such a nice touch ! • Nancy’s place was very cute, clean, and affordable. It was plenty of space for two people and we were extremely comfortable. Although her house is on the property, we felt that the Airbnb was secluded and offered the privacy we were looking for. Nancy’s place is also 20 minutes from Ragged Mountain, so it was very convenient for our ski vacation! We will definitely be back!

    Nhung2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The place was truly amazing, we loved everything about it. It is nice and cosy and had everything we needed and more. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back when visiting New Hampshire.

  • This was one of the best stays I've had!!! The place was perfect for my boyfriend and I. Nancy had everything you could think of, and then some!! Can't wait to go back already!!!

    Stephanie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful place to stay. Well appointed and completely as described. Directions from the host are perfect (Garmin sent me past the driveway). Although I arrived during the night of a snow storm, the drive was clear enough for my very poor handling 2-wheel drive. The apartment was very private and was the perfect quiet location, yet well within striking range of local dining, entertainment, Colby-Sawyer College, and several outdoor recreational venues. The "host-book" offers great recommendations and advice. I felt at home immediately and would come again without hesitation. No shortcomings and no surprises. A splendid place to stay!

    Frank2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • 10/10 recommend Nancy's place! The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, the location was secluded and scenic with access to trails and lakes. The apartment was fully stocked with everything you could need from utensils to games. There were thoughtful touches in every corner. The bed was so comfortable! Thankful for all of Nancy's hospitality.

  • A classic New England BnB, conveniently located between Sunapee and New London. Listen, let’s talk about the breakfast. I have not stopped thinking about the blueberry pancakes Dennis made me. Oh, or the thick-cut bacon, coffee, homemade strawberry jam, picture-perfect eggs, or the MOST sublime potatoes replete with mushrooms, peppers, and perfectly charred onions. This stay is worth the breakfast alone. Trust.

    Sarah-Mary2018-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Dennis and his family were wonderful hosts, and the inn charming, comfortable, clean, and warm in the cold spell that extended weekend. Loved sitting next to the wood fired stove to warm up after the day's outing in the freezing cold. It felt like I was visiting family. The breakfasts were delicious, with their own chicken's eggs and the best blueberry pancakes ( Maple syrup from Dennis' trees!), thick bacon and a hearty, delicious oatmeal. And! a baked apple done to perfection. I definitely give The Maple Hill Farm a five star rating.

It is located about 5 miles north. The Refinery is fairly new, we haven't tried it but hear great things about it. It's about 8 miles north of the site. *********** Due to Covid-19 the Kitchen is doing most of their food as take out. ******************** The Barnstore, 7 miles south of us, has great food, but is not open on a regular basis. Call ahead to see. They serve locally grown meats. Try the pork chop breakfast!! Another great place for breakfast and lunch is Tuckers, located 15 miles east in New London. Well worth the trip for good food! For a good pizza at a good price, try the CrossRoads Country Store, about 6 miles south. Gas, basic necessities, and homemade cookies are their specialities.
  • We stayed here on a very cold night and Dawn made sure that we were well prepared by giving us plenty of blankets to stay warm throughout the night. Definitely would come back again!

    Maia2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying here! It is a very clean, cozy, and unique space. Perfect for a get-away from technology :) Dawn is also very nice and I highly recommend staying at her place.

  • Would love to come back to this site during a warmer season! The tent is very cute and comfortable! Highly suggest checking this out

    Kelsey2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • The space was absolutely magical and Dawn went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and safe arrival. Could not recommend this space and the kind humans that host it. Truly a perfect stay, so fortunate to have had the support of Dawn and her family during the snowy arrival. Really an exceptional spot!

    Margaret2019-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • Glancing is the way to go! Not only does New Hampshire’s beauty speak for itself, but the place was cozy, stylish, and unique! Dawn was an incredible host and willing to put in any extra effort we could have asked for. If you are looking for a quiet unique and comfortable space to have alone time or get to know your friends/significant other better, this is the place for you. Even in the winter it was a great experience. The heaters kept us warm and the lights added a magical holiday touch. 10/10!

    Shannon2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Dawn was a great host. She did a great job keeping in contact with us incase we needed any extra items that she could deliver. The place was clean and super cozy, and looked just like the pictures. Her family did a great job helping take care of us as well and her son helped us start a fire when we couldn’t. All in all, we had a great experience and were very well taken care of.

    Salina2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • It’s cold in the winter but that’s expected. Was a wonderful stay since we knew what we’d be getting into. Was a good stay. Lots of stuff in the place that was unexpected. Coffee. Hot chocolate. Things for s’mores. Will stay again!

  • What a great cozy cabin on the lake we had four adults and one child comfortably in this nice cabin very clean with all the amenities including a lot of privacy and quietness right on the lake in this time of year people icefishing. I stay in a lot of airbnb’s and Alexander has been one of the best hosts so far very sweet quick to respond in very Willing to help out with whatever you need definitely look forward to coming back sometime soon hopefully in the summertime!

    Doug2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house was just what me and my family were looking for to unplug and unwind! The house was perfectly clean when we arrived and had all the things we needed to cook and make coffee which was a plus! There were plenty of trails and mountains to explore nearby which was perfect for us. Alexandra also left an awesome list of places to hike nearby and places to eat for all meals which came in handy. The decor cute and the cabin had a super cozy vibe me and my family enjoyed. I would 10/10 recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a great little getaway!

    Jennie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Alexandra's cabin is awesome! It is a nature retreat. It's a perfect place for a family with kids to unplug and enjoy the surrounding nature. The cabin gets nice and warm quickly, and has everything you need to cook and enjoy. The location is just minutes away from skiing and hiking areas. Communication with Alexandra was clear, easy, and timely. She responded to all our questions and gave us lots of hiking suggestions. We all, including our 13 y.o. son, enjoyed hiking in the area and absolutely loved the cabin. We highly recommend this place!!! We hope to come back there again!

    Ksenia2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and comfortable. It is not large and if someone is sleeping in the loft, you need to be able to get up the ladder. For its size, it is well laid out. The host was amazing. Fabulous communication and gracious.

    Leann2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Located a few minutes from Ragged mountain, Alex's cabin was the perfect place for our family to come back to after a long day of skiing. It's incredibly cozy and the interior appears professionally designed (although I am no expert). The host Alex is very attentive over text message and phone in answering questions and giving recommendations, but she lives remotely, so we truly had the place all to ourselves which is what we wanted. The cabin is lakefront and we could see people ice fishing out on the lake in the mornings. Behind the cabin is all natural forest so even though you are just 5 minutes from town, you feel like you are really out there. In terms of getting to the cabin, we had no problems using our phone GPS. The road is partially dirt, but we had no issues with 4WD. I look forward to staying at the cabin again in the summer, because I would be pumped to see the lake in action.

  • Kim’s place was great. It has a true bnb style with a beautiful yard, wrap around porch and adorable decor inside. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was really bright and cozy. Her two dogs were sweethearts and she was a great host. We locked our keys in the car on our way out in the morning. She was nice enough to entertain us while we waited for AAA for 3 hours and we enjoyed talking with her and playing with the pups during that time. I look forward to staying with Kim again the next time I am in the area. Thanks Kim. 😊

I live on a country dirt road in a 100+ year old New Hampshire farm house less than 5 miles from Mt Sunapee skiing and state beach. My guest accommodations feature a large private bedroom, private bath, and long private covered porch complete with rocking chairs. Guest quarts are separated from main house by shared entry with locking doors to each. Features a lovely view of the back side of Mt Sunapee, with nature pond and animals. Well-behaved and housebroken dogs on leash are considered.
The guest room has a large recliner that reclines almost flat and can serve as another bed in a pinch or watch TV/read near the lovely electric stove for extra heating in the winter. The large en-suite bathroom includes a large handicap accessible shower with seat. Need to do some work? We have a small work space as well as coffee, tea, and small fridge to keep you going! But don't forget to enjoy your time at Meadowsweet Farm, so make sure to use the private porch and take in the country air and watch the goats play.
I live in the rural small town community of Goshen, New Hampshire, population of 801, on a town maintained dirt road just off a tar road that locals call "the highway". It is in reality a winding road with homes dotted along it, leading to route 103 which directly runs to the Mt Sunapee Ski Resort and state beach. I am less than 5 miles from Sunapee Lake and another few miles from Sunapee Harbor. There are local restaurants, stores, quaint tourist attractions, and Sunapee Lake tours.
  • This was an ideal AirBnB experience. Heidi was available as needed but also respected our space and privacy. The room is very comfortable with a smart TV and space heater in addition to the Keurig stocked with coffee and tea which was so nice to have in the morning. And it was a joy to watch the goats out the window! We only stayed one night but it is definitely somewhere we want to return to! The location is fantastic for winter and summer activities in Mount Sunapee area.

  • There's nothing to hide with this place. The pictures of the surrounding area and space look beautiful because the space IS beautiful. I came up to ski and this room was a blessing to come back to after an exhausting day. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the coffee/tea station was a very thoughtful touch. Accommodations aside, Heidi was incredibly responsive and even offered to take us down to the barn to see the goats after we expressed interest. Would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone interested in exploring the area.

    Jacob2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great value for a relaxing stay. You can simply go about your business or say hello to Heidi at any time as she is easily available, delightful to talk with and super friendly.

  • This was a perfect space for a weekend up at Sunapee. Heidi was always quick with communication and check-in was very easy. The room was very comfortable and clean, and it included all of the amenities I could possibly need. The area was quiet and a very quick drive to Mount Sunapee. Overall I highly recommend this room and this host!

This Lake Sunapee Region cabin retreat is perfect for romantics, artists, writers, outdoor enthusiasts, gardeners, friends, & family. Centrally located between the area's best lakes and mountains, convenient to area attractions, and outdoor activities. Still, the cabin feels like a destination in itself, where you can relax, recharge, and reconnect. Cozy up by the stone fireplace, relax on the porch, see nature, read, listen, play, cook, stargaze, and enjoy just being! M&R license #: 063685
The cabin has a cozy open concept with the kitchen, dining, and living areas flowing together around a center chimney. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and beautiful vintage cast iron LP cookstove. If you are uncomfortable using an LP gas cookstove, a two-burner hotplate is available. The kitchen also has a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, french press (coffee and tea provided), toaster, cookware, drinkware, and serving ware. The dining area features a full-size table with extra leaf, and seating for up to 6 guests. The cabin has beautiful pine wood floors with several area rugs throughout. Enjoy the beauty of the fieldstone chimney combined with the clean convenience and warmth of a propane fireplace. Relax in the cozy living room, comfortably furnished with a large sectional including a chaise lounge and pull out queen bed. An old writing desk inspires as it sits in front of the large picture window overlooking the gardens, and still enjoys the prominent coziness of the fireplace. The full bath on the first floor has a deep clawfoot tub with rain-showerhead and all the essentials. The two bedrooms are furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed, dressed with soft linens, and plenty of pillows, each room has a bureau and an area to hang clothing. One bedroom has a locking door, while the other has a private opening. Each of the cozy bedrooms has at least one fan, and in the summer months, an air conditioner. Enjoy a variety of books, games, and puzzles. Listen to music, audiobooks, or your favorite podcast through the Bluetooth lantern speaker. Yoga mats and beach towels are also available. Private yoga classes are available for an additional fee, ask for details. Surrounded by gardens and nestled in the woods on three private acres, the cabin is distant to neighboring houses, barely visible through the trees. It mostly feels like a sanctuary. Dappled sunlight dances through the trees during the day. The spacious porch with ceiling fans and plenty of seating is the perfect place to take it all in. The 30” charcoal grill is waiting for your inner grill master. A five-foot dining table with umbrella and four cushioned chairs offers another option for dining out. During summer months, guests may enjoy in-season fresh herbs like basil, thyme, oregano, and dill, and a variety of fruits and vegetables as they ripen in the complimentary guest garden.
Bradford is a quiet and quaint town centrally located to all the best area attractions.
  • Alecia was a wonderful host. From her endearing and warm welcome, to her ability to foresee that all our needs would be met, she had everything covered! The cabin was extremely clean. It was also very quaint with many personal touches and lovely antiques. Furthermore, it was well-stocked with many comforts - fluffy towels, comfy couch, cozy blankets, home made “welcome” cake and very comfortable beds! Her welcome book was informative and thorough and included places to visit and local restaurants and stores. I will be back to visit, hopefully during another season so I can enjoy what that time of year brings.

    Monique2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • I feel Alecia deserves to be called a Mega Superhost. She clearly loves people and providing them with an unforgettable stay at her cabin. I have never been so spoiled anywhere! She went out of her way to make celebrating our wedding anniversary even more special. The cabin itself is comfortable and adorable. It's hidden away in the mountains, private and secluded. (There is no cell service on the mountain, so download your maps ahead of time!) The trails in the area are gorgeous, most notably the Andrew Brook trail (be prepared for steep climbs but an amazing view). We would certainly love to return to this area an explore more, and of course the only place we would want to stay is Alecia's!

    Ashley2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing gem! You won’t be disappointed!

    John2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Alecia’s place is wonderful! A group of friends and I wanted a relaxing weekend in a quant cabin and this was exactly that. Alecia went as far as making us freshly baked muffins and talking us through how to change the setting on the fireplace so that we were warm overnight when the temperatures dropped below zero. We were so cozy we didn’t even notice the temperature drop. Highly recommend this place.

    Christina2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy cabin with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed our escape to Bradford.

    Kem2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Alecia's hospitality was unmatched. She met us upon arrival and gave a thorough tour including great suggestions for local dining and hiking. Every corner of the cabin was filled with homey touches. We loved the fireplace, lighting, comfy beds and cool stove. We hope to visit again.

    Jane2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • What more can I say than we hated to leave. A perfect spot to de stress and reconnect with each other! So many thoughtful touches! Cozy, charming, relaxing, quiet, romantic, we loved our stay in the cabin. Escapism at its best!

    Paula2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • I have been using Airbnb for past 5 years and Alecia’s place is by far the best place I have stayed. Her place isn’t a place where you just go to sleep and spend the night. You will feel like home. Everything that a home requires, her place has it. It’s a cozy place and she decorated the place perfectly and thoughtfully. Highly recommended. She is an amazing host. Very communicative and helpful.

Our home sits on a secluded hilltop across from pristine Pleasant Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in New Hampshire in the town of New London, quaint shops, eateries. We provide two kayaks and a canoe which are kept at our lakefront access a few min. walk from house. The beach is a few min. drive down the road and is beautiful with a life guard, picnic tables. Lake Sunapee ski resort is noted for it's snowmaking and picturesque views of the lake, only 20 min. away.
Our charming home sits on five serene acres. It is so amazing to not see any houses, just trees, and only hear nature and the loons on Pleasant Lake. A feast for the senses indeed :-) Large deck with gas grill is pefect for entertaining. In mid Autumn and winter, views of lake are beautiful. The main area has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and a wall of french doors off deck provides lots of light and viewing of nature. Over 50mb of secure wifi, printer, so working from this space is excellent! Roku tv's in every bedroom provides a multitude of channel viewing and living room tv provides that and more. Our large mudrooom is perfect for storing our kayak, canoe and your ski/snowboard equipment. Private 1st floor bedroom is spacious with laundry area and half bath. New mattresses on beds, very comfortable. All that you need is provided, and any requests are welcome. AC window units are installed during the Summer in Bedroom #1 and the Kitchen/Dining/Living room area.
New London is a quaint historic town with unique shops, galleries, casual eateries, playhouse, farmer markets. There are free summer concerts on the town green. Colby College offers productions and concerts. Lake Sunapee has a wonderful summer adventure park for kids and adults.
  • The house is very airy and has great windows which makes it feel open and light. There is no dishwasher or garbage disposal, but after getting used to that, it was fine. We enjoyed our stay there.

  • Nice place to stay, we enjoyed our time here.

    Mike2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was very clean and pleasant for our three day stay. We were surprised to find, however, that there is no view of Lake Pleasant from the cottage. It is surrounded by lovely woods, but you have to walk a ways down the road before the lake can be seen. It was well appointed and had everything we needed.

    Loni2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The home is set in a beautiful quiet area right across from the lake. We made great use of the provided kayaks, the deck, and grill. Very relaxing!

  • Perfect family vacation. Home is super cozy and great for families. The lake is short walk away and the beautiful beach is a quick drive. Home has everything you can possibly need- soap , salt, extra towels, and linens, and is very clean. Just bring yourself and clothes. Maribeth is super sweet and responsive, and has great suggestions in her house book. Highly recommend!

    Sheylah2019-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Nice property, would highly recommend. If anyone has an issue with stairs this would not be the place to stay, but families with children would be fine. Enjoy!

    ElIZABETH2019-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place on a beautiful lake. There happened to be a Better Homes and Gardens sign down the street marking the trail/descent down to shared access dock. We used our water shoes:) Very comfortable living area and beds; we didn't need to use the lower level bedroom. Good internet & TV/streaming options for nights, rainy days. Maribeth was very responsive to queries.

  • If going in the summer you can expect a quaint New England lake experience. The pristine waters of Pleasant Lake are calm and beautiful. And, the town of New London is also wonderful.

  • Dennis has been running this B&B for 30+ years. With lots of rooms, and a true old school New England vibe, you get what you pay for here: Hospitality, quaintness, and scratch made breakfast to order at the time you request it. Dennis was so accommodating and welcoming to all the guest the weekend we stayed with him. We will definitely be back and can’t recommend this place enough!

This small cottage is beside a brook but only a mile to New London. The sleeping arrangements - two bedrooms upstairs -a queen bed in one and a twin bed in a second bedroom. Living room, bathroom, and kitchen are shared with me. The cottage is clean and well-equipped but needs cosmetic repairs— ask for details if there is concern. Two indoor cats are in the home. Quiet with a large room and drafting table, this is a perfect place for a painting or writing retreat. Close to skiing.
The cottage is 1 mile from the center of New London and less than a mile from beautiful hiking trails. It’s quiet and calming but a short drive to restaurants and shops—perfect as a writing or painting retreat. In summer you can hear loons, barred owls, and the sound of the stream behind the house.
This cottage has a rural feeling to it with woods and a stream, but a mile back up the hill brings you to the heart of New London, where you’ll find coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, gift shops, and more.
  • This place is a cozy gem!

  • Denise's place was an absolute gem near Sunapee. She was communicative about check in and flexible with my timing. Her house was clean and lovely, the room was comfortable, and Denise was a pleasure to talk to. The next morning she offered lovely quiche and coffee. It honestly felt like staying at a family member's house. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for welcoming and affordable accommodations near Sunapee.

  • Denise and Jim have a lovely home and they made it very easy for us to feel comfortable. They were warm and welcoming as well as respectful of our privacy. The found the house spotlessly clean, our bed most comfortable and New London, NH is very beautiful. We highly recommend this place to stay.

    Linda2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Denise is well-deserved the title of superhost. Both her and her husband, Jim, were amazing and very hospitable. The house is decorated beautifully and is very clean. It is surrounded by the field and nature easily seen via big windows in the house. Everywhere you look, you enjoy. The rooms are stylishly decorated and we had access to a private bathroom. Denise spent time giving us great tips for our next destination and driving which came very handy. I totally recommend getting advice for exploring NH from her and Jim. I liked the no-shoes in the house rule as I also care about that and I think that was one of the reasons that they kept their house so neat. The house is easily accessible for guests because of limited stairs. We ended our one night stay by having a nicely prepared cup of tea and homemade puppy-seed bread Wishing we had planned a longer stay here. I would definitely come back here and I strongly recommend it to other guests as well.

  • If we could give twenty stars we would! The property is located on forty plus acres of pristine Sunapee shoreline, Cabin is a classic 40's era lake cabin. Very clean and comfortable! Private area of a family compound. Our family of four enjoyed Canoeing, Kayaking, rowing, swimming, Ping-Pong in the boathouse in the evening, all included with our stay. Next year we hope to take up tennis! Our host Christina is wonderful, and her extended family who have been coming to the estate from all over the world for generations seem to know instinctively how to take hospitality to the next level. We met the most interesting people, and we were treated like we were royalty! One of the highlights of our week was when we took the MSS Mount Sunapee boat for a tourist cruise, where they give histories of some of the properties, point out celebrities homes and such, and as we passed the property that we were staying at, the captain pointed out the Adirondack style boathouse, and his favorite private beach on the whole of Lake Sunapee! Needless to say, our eight year old was pretty proud that that was our beach! She will now make sure that she waves to the tourist boat when it comes by once a day. We cannot wait until next year. We found our special place in the world....

  • This is the perfect cabin for a comfy, cozy getaway! We got some nearby hiking in, and it was so nice to come back and relax in such a homey place.

  • This was a lovely place and great location! It is remote and away from busy roads, which we enjoyed. But still relatively easy to get to. Lots of nearby places to hike and walk, and Kilton Pond is beautiful as well. The cabin itself is very cozy and warm.

  • Loved staying in the cabin! It was so cozy and decorated perfectly! Everything went smoothly.

  • Maryjanes place is exactly what we needed for a quiet weekend away before the holidays. Close enough to places that you don’t feel too secluded, but once you’re at the cabin you’re probably not going to want to leave anyways! Everything was so comfy, cozy and clean. There were plenty of things to cook meals with if you want to bring your own food. Highly recommend!

  • Great accommodations and super cozy. Great location as it is close to Mt. Cardigan and all the shops in West Lebanon. Perfect for 2 people or even a family of 6 because of the 4 twin beds upstairs. Wifi was helpful for watching movies on Netflix and an awesome Bluetooth speaker system to listen to music. Water got cold at times, just be sure to shower before doing the dishes! Very comfy bed and sofa for snuggling up with some hot cocoa! I would 100% come back to this cabin.

  • Incredibly clean and beautiful space. Ed and his wife are also extremely hospitable. The floor can be extremely cold in the winter, so bring slippers if you can!

  • Traveled up for a relaxing Valentine’s weekend getaway/ski trip. Ed, Cindy, and Miss Charlotte (their sweet dog) are wonderful hosts who live on a beautiful farm; the view from the apartment was amazing. Everything is as advertised (full kitchen & bath, queen sized bed, and washer and dryer, etc.) and the space is well kept and clean. There are a lot of great recommendations for places to visit nearby in the house manual. Mount Sunapee state park is within a 25 min drive and a very fun place to ski in the winter. Overall, this is a perfect cozy place to relax in the mountains.

  • When we arrived, in the cold dark winter night, we were happy just to have someplace warm to stay. We were happy to find out that all the reviews were right. The views are awesome, the location is perfect, and the place is super comfortable and clean. We hope to come back soon.
