  • Connie was extremely personable and warm. She met us upon arrival and made sure we were all settled with the accommodations. There were fresh baked goods, cheese and basic kitchen goods (condiments, spices, tea, paper towels etc..). She had reading material, games, brought us fresh flowers and provided numerous recommendations in the area. The apartment was very clean and overall we had a very pleasant stay. Connie does an amazing job.

  • Had a great quiet retreat from the city.

    Karen2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Connie is a wonderful host! Communicating with her was easy and she gave us good information about the check in process and the area. She was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell she really knows and loves the area! I really appreciated the star gazing guides she had there, although with it being winter and cold outside we didn’t get to use them. Will definitely look for her place if we go back! Her place was clean and comfortable and so quiet for sleeping! We brought our sweet hound dog and Connie had everything we needed for her too. Highly recommend a stay in Sandisfield with Connie!

  • Connie was a great host and her place was the best! Waiting for our arrival was fresh bread, gourmet dog treats, eggs. milk, jams, spices, butter, oils, and all the kitchen utensils needed. Toiletries included soaps, shampoos, conditioners, etc. The studio is spotless, well furnished, and located about an hour from the Bradley International Airport (Hartford, CT). Very scenic area and lots of wildlife. Connie’s place will definitely be on our list of places to return to again.

This unique, ground floor guest apartment is part of a 200 year old wooden factory building known as The Whip Shop. The original wood, brick, and steel period details are a feature of the cozy sitting room and adjoining bedroom. Right in the village of Southfield, the apartment offers both a rural setting and the conveniences of a community, including a fiber internet connection in the apartment, a cafe for breakfast and lunch down the street, and Berkshire flora and fauna in every direction.
Nestled in bucolic Southfield Village in the Southern Berkshires, The Whip Shop began it's life nearly two centuries ago as the Turner & Cook Whip "Manufactory," producing rawhide whip cores. In it's heyday, The Whip Shop was the principal employer in the village, and the Turners and Cooks were the gentry. As the 20th century picked up steam, and Henry Ford's invention replaced the horse and buggy, the production of rawhide whip cores transitioned to rawhide mallets and machine belt pins, but eventually demand for these product went the way of the buggy whip. The Whip Manufactory itself called it quits in the 1970's, adding a long and storied chapter to the history of Southfield. But the building itself lives on. A "whip shop" in name only, it has continued to provide an agreeable home for—in succession—furniture manufacturing, hand-screened fabric production, custom designed sweater embroidery, and an antique marketplace. Along the way, a U.S. Post Office branch took up residence, and for a time, several restauranteurs tried their hand at bringing dining out to Southfield locals and visitors. Now, under new ownership, this historic 19th century rural factory building has been upgraded and modernized, offering 21st century rental environments in a building that has been continuously productive for close to 200 years. In addition to fiber optic internet connectivity, light filled office and studio spaces provide access to mobile phone service, and an on-site US Post Office. Delicious soups from the kitchens of Farm Country Soups, located in the building, can be purchased as well. And, The Whip Shop is located just steps from the Southfield Store & Cafe, an extraordinary dining amenity for a small rural village—the "Store" is a open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, offering delicious house-made baked goods, and serving a full range of espresso drinks, coffee and teas. There is no kitchen in the apartment, but a small area to prepare coffee and tea, and bathroom consists of a separate shower, and toilet and sink.
The Whip Shop is located in the Town of New Marlborough in the center of Southfield Village. A few steps further down the road, is the charming Southfield Store—a cafe open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch (and dinner 4 nights a week in the summer and fall). To the south of The Whip Shop is the United Church of New Marlborough (more commonly called the Southfield Church) and it's Ladies Aid Hall. The Southfield Village center runs along the northern end of the Norfolk Road, and within 6 miles, brings you to the Connecticut border and the town of Norfolk, summer home of the Yale Music School. In the opposite direction is the historic New Marlborough village green, flanked by the Meeting House and the Old Inn, Gedney Farm, open for dinner year round and in season, has a terrace and outdoor grill. Southfield is a diverse and interesting community made up of multi-generational southern Berkshire families, transplants from the northeast and beyond, and second home owners from the New York metro area and eastern Massachusetts. New Marlborough has many attractions, both scenic and cultural, not to mention Great Barrington and the surrounding Berkshire Hills. We can provide you with many ideas for natural and cultural attractions, places to eat, antique, and explore.
  • Fun, creatively redesigned commercial space to accommodate one or two travelers. It had a comfortable bed and nice linens. The wall unit heater warmed the space very quickly for January New England weather. I would definitely go back to stay again.

    Nancy2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time! The location is perfect, close to many towns in the southern Berkshires. The place itself is clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed. Kenzie left a book of suggested trails in the area and even though we’re not big hikers, we got inspired to take two of the shorter walks, and it was wonderful!

    Kristina2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space. Quiet and secluded. An excellent option to get away, but nevertheless close to coffee and food. Thank you Kenzie!

    Gray2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Loved our stay at The Whip Shop! Great location and definitely reco the Southfield Store for breakfast and Prairie Whale in Great Barrington for dinner. Such a great first trip to the Berkshires!

    Jolie2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Kenzie’s place was perfect for our trip to the Berkshires. We will definitely be back!

    Tim2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay. Kenzie’s place is very well-kept, comfortable, and very quiet at night. While it lacks a kitchen, the proximity to the Southfield Store, a marvelous place to eat, makes that irrelevant. We had a couple of delightful breakfasts there and it contributed much to the quality of our stay. Great host, great accommodations. Thanks Kenzie!

    James2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cute, stylish place tucked away from the road. Recommended for folks who are looking for great value outside of Stockbridge/Lenox area.

    Steve2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Kenzie’s place is so great! Very cozy bed and the interior design of the place is gorgeous. Very thoughtful design and the surroundings are also very creative. The town is beautiful & picturesque. It’s super easy to get around from here. Lots of hikes nearby and also Great Barrington is super close (20 min). Also about a 5 min walk from the whip shop is a wonderful cafe/restaurant and soup! Highly recommend the whip shop!

  • Highly recommend! Roshelle was prompt and easy to get in touch with. The place is a great space. Bed is super comfy. Well heated in December :)

  • Perfect getaway spot- quiet, cozy, clean, stylish. We loved the brook out back and coffee down the street. Thank you!

    Laura2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • A colleague and I stayed at Roshelle's house on the way upstate for a meeting. It was perfect for our overnight needs.

    Kristin2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely place to stay in the Berkshires. The listing description is very accurate. Nice, king-size bed. Plenty of storage. Everything is IKEA, but nothing is cheap. It’s all their better quality furnishings and even a nice foam IKEA mattress. Very tasteful, classy and nice. In 17-degree Berkshires late fall weather, the space remained very warm. The space is the back half of a two-family home. But no need to worry, you don’t hear any noise from the other family. In fact, you don’t hear any noise at all. The home is incredibly quiet and peaceful. Roshelle was quick to respond to our messages. When we mentioned some ice had developed on the outside steps, she had them salted within an hour. When in the area, don’t miss a fancy dinner at Old Inn on the Green. It’s worth every penny.

    Alex2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Roshelle’s place was such a great place to stay on my first trip to the Berkshire’s. It was very clean and stylish. Roshelle was very quick to respond to my questions via Airbnb and phone. I look forward to staying there on my future trips.

    Leah2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house in a beautiful part of the country! Picturesque surroundings and a very comfortable place to rest and sleep. What more could you ask for?!

    Adam2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Such an easy stay! Easy communication, easy to find, it was great for myself and my husband to stay after we went to a wedding right down the street. Such a cute spot, was really clean, and very comfy quarters!

    Samantha2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Rochelle’s place was just right for what we needed: comfortable, clean and convenient location. Ran a race in Colebrook, CT, but I could see others using the spot for leaving peeping or taking part winter activities. It is nicely located to some farm to table spots. Overall great stay. Thanks Roshelle!

    Anne2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and spacious place in a great country location just minutes from town. Wish we had more time to enjoy this place, highly recommended!

    Jeff2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • We really lucked out getting this amazing space during one of the busiest summer weekends. It is exactly as described and probably even bigger than you would expect. We didn’t miss having a kitchen as one of the best parts of the trip was all the amazing food we had at restaurants in Great Barrington and just a couple miles from the property. All in all, this was the perfect spot for our family of 3 and I would happily return.

  • Billies place was beautiful and cozy! There was a great living area and kitchen with ample room to hang out. The store next door is adorable and means you're never far from coffee or pastries, even in an otherwise quiet and peaceful area. Billie was super responsive and had thoughtful tips and advice about what to do in the area!

    Stephanie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Billie's place offers absolutely everything you may need for a country home stay. The house itself has many incredible touches like a fully stocked kitchen, a working wood-stove fireplace, and very comfortable pieces of furniture everywhere. It also has great Wi-Fi, places for our large group to play board games, and is next door to the Southfield Store, a coffee shop/bakery/restaurant that we highly recommend. Billie made our stay very comfortable, and was always able to respond to any questions we may have had in an insanely short amount of time. Plus, you get a private parking area so you don't have to worry about that in any way.

    Sandy2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The house was great with every item you could possibly need. Billie was thorough and quick to respond. The breakfast place next door was a treat. Easy in and out.

    Shawn2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy, spacious, and very clean. Check-in and out was easy, Billie was super responsive, and the location was great. Be sure to try the Southfield Store for breakfast, it's right next door and the food is amazing!

    Stephanie2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Billie’s place was wonderful! Our family stayed for a long weekend while attending a wedding at Gendy Farm (which was only a few miles down the road). Her home had everything our family needed- including a pack and play for our daughter. Billie was super responsive and made check in/out a breeze. It was a great location (especially next to the Southfield Store). Thank you again Billie!

    Sarah2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice, clean home in a perfect location to enjoy the area (hiking / outdoors as well as relaxing indoors). Billie is a very responsive and thoughtful host.

    Angad2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great stay at Billie's classically beautiful home. Very clean and quiet - we enjoyed hanging out by the fireplace, sipping coffee on the wraparound porch and even getting a little work done in the office/ library. The Southfield Store is literally right next door and has the BEST dinner and breakfast/ brunch - don't miss it if you decide to stay here. Prime location with so many things to do nearby and close to Great Barrington. Highly recommend!

The house has a spacious kitchen with everything you need to make a gourmet meal or you can cook out on the grill near the pool and eat in the screened in gazebo with a beautiful fire pit.
The house can sleep 8 but comfortably sleeps 6 adults. There is a pull out sofa in the dressing room and a pull out sofa in the living room. This house is wonderfully private, but only two minutes from the general store. The pool area is massive and you will feel like you are at an all inclusive resort. The kitchen is great for gathering people together or perfect for someone who loves to cook meals while enjoying a glass of wine. The pool area has a fun useable Tiki bar with a fridge and a blender. It also has a bathroom and outdoor shower! In the fall you will love eating in the dining room with the beautiful stone gas fireplace. It throws off the perfect amount of heat on those chilly nights. This house is a perfect getaway!

  • Lovely clean home with very responsive owners.

  • A wonderful home! We had a blast

    Jennifer2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • The house was meticulous clean and better than the pictures. All the amenities you could ever need. Dawn was a great host. Highly recommend this house.

    Marc2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was excellent. The house is very clean and the host is extremely responsive. The outdoor space is great. Kitchen had every amenity you could ask for. We would surely do it again!

    Daniel2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had so much fun here! 3 families stayed in the house, all with kids. Plenty of space for all! What a backyard! The pool is excellent! Between the awesome pool, the bar, the stereo, outdoor bathroom and screened in room with fire pit, you never have to go inside!! The kids loved it! Kitchen and supplies were great also! Everything we needed to create some awesome family dinners. Dawn was super responsive too. Anytime we had a question, before or during the trip, Dawn was quick to respond. Overall, great weekend!

    Carlos2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Dawn was a wonderful host. Not only was the house exactly as described but it was even more amazing in person. We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and that’s exactly what we found when we arrived. Whether we were sitting on the deck reading, swimming in the pool or relaxing on the couch we had a great time. It felt like we were totally disconnected from the world but a twenty minute drive took us to some cute little towns where we could shop and explore. We definitely recommend this house. You won’t regret it.

    Jenna2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Berkshires poolside paradise! Our group of four adults and three young kids had an amazing time hanging by the pool, mixing drinks at the tiki bar, grilling at the BBQ, and lighting up the fire pit (conveniently shielded from bugs) at night time. Dawn's house has everything you need – the kitchen is fully stocked, the bedrooms are comfortable, and the outdoor areas are ideal for a warm weather Berkshires getaway. We had so much fun at the pool that we didn't venture out much, but there is a super cute general store just a few minutes down the street (don't miss the local breakfast sausage!) and it's about a 15-20 minute drive into Great Barrington with lot's of restaurants and shopping. We had a blast and would definitely go back!

Berkshires Bliss. This cozy, cabin-sized home is full of mid-century charm, light, privacy with a big backyard and grill area, and riverfront bathing! It is quiet, peaceful, and comes with a cat named Willow! The perfect getaway, with nearby hiking/biking trails, waterfalls, live music, and the charm of the Berkshires. A great cafe and happenin' night spot for cocktails are within 5mins' drive. You're just 14mins from Great Barrington. Peace & Privacy *and* access to nature and culture!
This small home is country simplicity at its best, and is close to all of the natural beauty and culture of the Berkshires. Willow, my cat, will be here during your stay and is wonderfully independent (just needs to be fed in the morning & evening; spends the day outside, sleeps inside). With private riverfront, spend time outside grilling, tending the fire pit, or bathing in the cool river water (the clean Konkapot River). This tranquil place best accommodates 1 person or a couple. Sleeps up to 3 people: Queen mattress in the bedroom + foldout sofa (and Aerobed, additionally).
Umpachene Falls (a beautiful state park with natural waterfalls, swimming and bathing = 5mins away); The Southfield Store, a Brooklyn-style cafe with good coffee and pastries = open morning and afternoon. Cantina 229 is a hip evening spot with cocktails, burgers and tacos = 5mins away! Great Barrington is just 14mins drive from the house, with: GUIDO's (like a mini-Whole Foods); the food coop; Bizen (best sushi around!); a cinema; CVS pharmacy; and lots of great shops and hangouts.

Renovated schoolhouse on a quiet river in the Berkshires. This is the perfect place to unwind. Great for families and friends to relax and reconnect. Take a walk to the waterfalls, play croquet on the lawn, gather dinner from our seasonal garden and enjoy 'smores around the fire pit. Very private and woodsy, but close to Butternut for skiing, Great Barrington for shopping and access to all the music and art the Berkshires has to offer. Home is stylish, comfortable and inviting.
This house is perfectly cozy and you many never want to leave it! We were guests here and loved it so much, we bought it! We kept everything the way it was and if you've been here before it will be the same lovely experience. We provide all the basic staples ranging from bandaids, shampoo and an iron to coffee, tea, oil, vinegar and some necessary baking items. You will have all the pots and pans you need along with even a coffee bean grinder and salad spinner. Please help yourself to anything in the fridge and cabinets. We have wifi but you can easily unplug if that's what you're looking for. Great DVD collection for all ages (no cable tv), games like Monopoly and Scrabble, BBQ (charcoal) and room to unwind. Don't forget to sign the walls in the downstairs bathroom! Our house is not child proofed, we are on a quiet road and there is a river so you will need to use your judgment and be safe.
We are truly in the middle of nature with many beautiful walks and hikes. This is the place to get away and unwind. But we are also close to Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, Shakespeare and Company and many more sites for Arts and Culture. And fun outings as well like movies at the Triplex Cinema, So Co Creamery for ice cream, Zip Lining at Catamount, Cove Bowling, mini golf and even batting cages! And of course great Berkshire skiing at Butternut and Catamount. You will find our own booklet for you of area suggestions and of things to see and do in our neighborhood and the surrounding Berkshires. As well as a list of all the local hikes and walks.
  • Kate's place is a great place to stay, very nice, clear instructions, clean and nice decor. We were able to enjoy the activities in the area in our short time there and we look forward to seeing what it is like during the warm weather season. Thank you, Alexis and Family!

  • The house was extremely neat and tidy. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and was perfectly laid out. The coffee, cookies, and wine that welcomed us were an unexpected delight. Kate was so helpful in recommending places to go and things to do, including an outstanding pizza place. We will be staying there again.

Enjoy a beautiful, modern-furnished colonial house situated on 4 private acres, built in 1800 & updated for maximum comfort. Easy driving to Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, Ski Butternut, Kripalu and many fantastic dining options. Open kitchen/living room with cathedral ceilings, 4 bedrooms with views of spacious property and surrounding farmland. Full kitchen, dishwasher, woodburning stove, 2 bathrooms, laundry, wifi. Minimally and stylishly furnished, with space for couples, families & friends.
The space is comfortable for a couple, two couples or two families (note there’s a small extra charge for more than 4 adults - kids don’t count) Downstairs is an open plan kitchen with everything you need to cook for a small or large group, a dining area w/table that seats up to 10, and a living room with cathedral ceilings and couch that unfolds to a double bed. Down the hall is a large master bedroom with queen bed and bay window that overlooks the neighboring farm's 100-acre meadow. Attached to the bedroom is a smaller office where a travel crib or mattress can easily be placed. A large windowed bathroom with walk in shower is just a step away. Upstairs are three bedrooms, one with queen bed, one with twin bed and comfortable trundle, and another with twin bed. All rooms equipped with brand new, supremely comfortable natural/eco mattresses. Large bathroom upstairs with bath and European showerhead, washer and dryer. The property consists of 3+ acres of rolling lawns and gentle sloping hill overlooking a neighboring horse pasture. Many places nearby are enclosed by woods, which block out the sun in summer and the humidity brings insects...but here you can dine outside peacefully on a large, weathered picnic table in an open garden. The area is quiet, peaceful, with minimal car traffic and nature everywhere you look - a perfect rural getaway, and a gateway to the Berkshires.
New Marlborough has plenty to offer during all four seasons: stunning countryside, hikes, lakes, Umpachene Falls and Campbell falls-- both with swimming holes-- farms, vineyards, leaf peeping, apple picking, skiing, antiquing, and more. Enjoy delicious dining at The Southfield Store, the Old Inn on The Green and Cantina 229 - all only four miles away. The town of Great Barrington -- a Berkshires' food hub -- is a short 12-minute drive away, with superb restaurants such as The Prairie Whale and Rubiner's cheese and sandwich shop, cafes, shops, a Saturday farmer’s market, Guidos's the organic grocery store, Berkshire Mountain Bakery and more. Throughout the year, the Berkshire hills are a draw for outdoor enthusiasts - there are countless state parks to explore, with trails for hiking, lakes for fishing, and rivers for kayaking. For winter sports enthusiasts, Butternut Mountain offers skiing (and tubing!) and is just 5 miles away; other nearby ski areas include Catamount (25 mins), Otis Ridge (20 mins) and Jimney Peak (1 hr). The house is perfectly situated to enjoy all the cultural attractions of the Berkshires: Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and its music festival; Jacob's Pillow, the dance festival & school; the Norman Rockwell Museum; Edith Wharton's house, The Mount; Kripalu yoga retreat; Hancock Shaker Village, MASSMoca and the Clark Art Institute are all within easy driving distance.
  • Nicks place was stylish, clean, and spacious. Nick was communicative and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend.

    Marina2020-01-26T00:00:00Z

  • This house is a stylish and comfortable gem — close to skiing at butternut, great walks and runs right out the front door, near all the nice shops and restaurants in Great Barrington, and a fun and relaxing place to unwind, cook and relax. Cows across the street. Views in every direction and all the amenities of a well stocked and supplied home. Thank you for a great stay.

    Elizabeth2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place ruled. Would 100% stay here again. As good, if not better than the photos look. Nick is quick to respond and extremely accommodating. Super easy to get into GB, but removed enough that it feels quite private.

    Spencer2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely modern spaces in this beautiful old home. Felt right at home while visiting clients in this gorgeous area. Will be back!

    Michael2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nick’s beautiful house is the perfect base to explore The Berkshires from. It’s very tastefully decorated and has a spectacular open plan kitchen/dining room. The wood burner is also great and heated the whole kitchen area with ease. We took our kids (9 and 13) and they loved Gt Barrington and hiking up Monument Mountain on a beautiful clear day. We were also joined by 2 friends and there was plenty of room for us all.

    Chris2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Expect a great place to relax, kick back, and feel like you are at home. Nick’s a great host, good with communication, and always ready to help. We had a wonderful time with our kids and grandson’s. Lots of kid friendly toys and plenty of room to spread out. This home has a great yard and just a short drive to Great Barrington. We would love to stay at Nick’s home again.

  • We enjoyed this house very much and it was a nice getaway. The view from the living room and dining room of the river are very soothing. Kitchen was well equipped and the instructions about check-in were very clear. The following is not meant as any negative, but just a factual statement that others should be aware of. There is only one bathroom in the house and it is on the first floor, at the opposite end of the house of the bedrooms (which are on the second floor). I'm only stating this for people that my have some trouble with steps. The house was very clean and it was very nice that there were several large bottles of water waiting for us.

    Michael2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Me and 3 childhood friends came from all over the US to spend a weekend together. The property far exceeded our expectations. The house itself is very cute and has everything you need. By far the most spectacular part of the property is the river/waterfall in the back. The view of it and sound that comes from it is beautiful and really takes your mind off of everything else, we also loved how the couch is facing huge windows that look at the river and waterfalls. There is skiing close by and everything else you may need about 15 minutes away (there's a Price Chopper in Great Barrington). Checking in and communication with the host was great! Would definitely recommend this beautiful home for a quiet get away/get together.

    Sholom2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous cabin with all the amenities. Cozy and quiet the perfect retreat. Philippe is the consummate host and the area is extraordinary. We loved every moment.

  • A perfect place to visit in the Fall...the sound of the waterfall, the views of nature surrounding you, the smell of leaves and pine...it is a exquisite retreat! A comfortable sleep in a great bed with crisp fresh linens. I plan to return!

    Wendy2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice and clean place to go to. Very relaxing in the woods with the river running next to the cabin. We felt It was very expensive for what it was. That’s the only negative thing I can say about it

    Josh2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was wonderful. This home is cute with such a unique style of charm. Along with the inside of the home being quaint and eclectic, it is located directly on the river bank. We were able to sit on one side of the yard and enjoy the flowing water and then simply walk to the back of the yard for our very own private swimming area. We came up with our dog, and it was the perfect place for him to roam and play. The house itself has perfect surroundings, and we were also able to head a few yards up the road and hike the most stunning waterfall. If you're looking for privacy, simplicity, and stunning views, this is the place to go. Great Barrington is a beautiful 20 minute drive to get grocery's, morning coffee, ice cream, etc. It was nice to head there to get what was needed and be able to go back to complete solitude. We would 100% come back again, as it was a quiet respite from the craziness of everyday life. We thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

    Meghan2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for an amazingly quiet, private, beautiful nature setting, this is your spot! The location by the river is incredible, and the views of the river from the inside of the house are serene and beautiful. We so enjoyed being in and near the river on the super hot day, and the home was cozy in the evening. The hospitality was amazing with a friendly and super helpful host. Highly recommend!

  • A beautiful home in a peaceful, wooded location. Generous amenities and lots of goodies left for us in the kitchen. The master suite is like a fine hotel. The kitchen/living area is perfect for hanging out with friends/family, reading, playing games. Rich was a perfect host, very communicative and easy. Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens was very comfortable over a long winter weekend —lots of private space for all! We would love to come back.

    Catherine2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great escape in the Berkshires and staying at this property only enhanced our stay. There was every amenity you could hope for to make your stay even more comfortable! Thank you, Rich for being such a wonderful host!!

    Tess2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our group (two families + kids) had a wonderful weekend at Rich's house. It felt like a private retreat in the woods. We went for a walk along the road for over an hour and didn't see a single car/person. But, the house is also close enough to Great Barrington that you can still ski and hang out in town if you want. Everything was sparkling clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The house felt spacious and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. We would definitely stay here again.

    Elsie2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable, spacious and immaculately clean. We really enjoyed our weekend ski getaway and the personal touches at this house- fully stocked kitchen, tea assortment and firewood. Rich even had someone plow the driveway and dig our cars out after some overnight snow. Would definitely recommend staying here. Rich was responsive and helpful.

    Nicole (Nik)2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was the place! Beautiful house chalet like. We went skiing at butternut and just needed a place to hang out but serendipity. We didn’t want to leave rich’s place. He stocked the place fully for a weeks stay and we were there just for a weekend. I’ve been to many air bnb and this is the first review I’m leaving just to laud the place. Thanks nice house! Best thing was the master bedroom it was hotel like.

    Sam2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Rich's place is AMAZING. my only regret is that we didn't stay longer. the interior is charming, comfortable, and spacious. I would definitely return and reccommend.

  • Barbara was a lovely hostess. Everything was just right. She provided us with great tips on the area and where to go. We couldn’t have asked for more for our stay. I would recommend this listing to anyone and would gladly be a return guest.

  • Lovely place, western Massachusetts charm. Beautiful view of the valley from the private balcony. Wifi is a little spotty, but it actually helped us unplug on a beautiful weekend away! I recommend Barbara's place for your stay.

    Aaron2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara was truly a fantastic hostess! She met us in the driveway when we arrived, and showed us around. Barbara (and Michael) were both very friendly, and even had freshly made scones for us when we arrived! Their place is great: pictures were accurate, perfect porch with a view of the cornfield, close to different hiking areas, and centrally located to explore many different towns in the Berkshires area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet getaway weekend.

Newly renovated charming 1850's Berkshire's home in the Village of Southfield with mother-in-law apartment. Good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. Gas fireplaces, fully equipped chef's kitchen. But if you don't feel like cooking walk across the street to the popular Southfield Store, a cafe with daily breakfast, lunch and weekend dinners. Five minutes away from Gedney Farm and Old Inn on the Green. Near all the Berkshire attractions. Close to great hikes, lakes and waterfalls.
  • Clean and nicely renovated farmhouse in the center of a tiny town with a perfect place for breakfast, lunch, pastries and coffee right across the street. Close by to ski mountains and the vibrant Great Barrington, among other nice places for fun in the Berkshires. Christine’s welcome and instructions were clear and accommodating. Will definitely stay again!

    Alisa2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our family was very comfortable at Gary and Christine’s home over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. It was sparkling clean, well-equipped and accommodating for our group of extended family. Also family friendly and we greatly appreciated the toys and child amenities provided. Would definitely recommend staying here!

    Martha2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • We were in town for a wedding at Gedney Farm. Perfect location and very spacious. Would come back again in ever in the area!

    Bridget2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Charming AND modern? “Feels far away” AND convenient? Sophisticated AND good for kids? Yes, such a place exists... and it’s here at Gary and Christine’s house. They couldn’t have been easier to work with, more accessible, or more kind. They left toys and a pack-n-play out for our daughter, stocked the kitchen with essentials, and left us a binder full of info on everything we’d ever ask about the house. The layout was perfect for our group, and the freestanding “apartment” is PERFECT for a small family or “in-law suite” (we used it for both, because everyone loved it, we rotated!). The area is lovely and in remote farmland, but LITERAL STEPS from the Southfield store so you feel like you’re in the center of everything. Though gourmet meals are on-demand across the street, Gary and Christine provide everything for cooking, including an extra tank of gas and s’more ingredients for the fire pit! I just wish there were a bigger table on the deck so we could eat every meal out there! Fantastic weekend, fantastic hosts. We will be back!

    Abby2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Just came back from a one week stay and Gary and Christine’s house. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The house was sparkling clean, had all the amenities we needed and being across from the Southfield store was an added bonus. We would love to come back!

    Victoria2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • This home is spotless, spacious and just lovely. The views are amazing and it is perfect for family or friend reunions. We just loved it. If you have never traveled to more scenic areas in the NE, as was our case, I recommend mapping the time it takes to get places as getting around took a lil longer than expected. This is not a complaint because the area is beautiful. You just need to build in time.

    Syl2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • The charming house in the Berkshires is just as advertised. The house and the cottage in the backyard are beautiful with all the amenities such as air conditioning, lovely kitchen and supplies, even coffee and an outdoor grill and also fire pit. The cost for four couples is amazing compared to what you would pay for a hotel room in the area that provides really nothing and they are a walk across the street from an excellent breakfast/lunch restaurant in case you are not in the mood to cook....Christine and Gary were very responsive to our requests, well deserving of their "super host" status

    Richard2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • The house was very comfortable and the kitchen especially well stocked. I brought a few of my own things just in case (a pie pan) but didn’t need them.

    Philip2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Liz's place was beautiful, clean, and well-located on a quiet piece of the Berkshires overlooking a field. What made this place so special, though, was Liz's hospitality. We woke up to the smell of gingerbread, which Liz offered us along with tea, and the chance to chat. She was a thoughtful and kind host with a lot of insight into the area. Highly recommend if you're in the Great Barrington area.

    Aaron2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Liz is warm and welcoming, the house and room was wonderful, we'd certainly come again.

  • Liz's cottage in New Marlborough is one of the best AirBnB rentals my family & I have experienced. Check-in was simple and we found the home very warm & neat when we got in. Liz had also taken time to stock the essentials - coffee, milk, eggs, english muffins & orange juice. Since we arrived a bit late, that extra step really helped us ease into a stress-free first morning at the cottage. The pictures don't do this home & property justice. We went on multiple walks throughout our stay here and really enjoyed the awesome morning mountain views. By chance, we met Liz & her husband during our stay. They were both kind, helpful and welcoming people; it's easy to see why the home feels as warm & inviting as it does. We are looking forward to our next visit during the warmer months.

    Ed2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Liz's place was better than the photos. Everything was seamless from check in to check out. The views are lovely from all areas of the home. Only 15-ish minutes from Great Barrington. The beds were so comfy. I felt completely relaxed. Thank you, Liz!

  • Elizabeth's place is truly the most well-equipped Airbnb we've stayed it, it's so thoughtfully appointed - the kitchen is terrific, eggs, juice and muffins were left for us. The towels, linens and beds were perfect. The grounds are beautiful! We will definitely go back!

  • Location was magical and the stay was comfortable. My coworker and I stayed for one night in order to see a performance at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in Becket, MA and yet Sam's location was the highlight of the trip. The waterfalls and quaint, fresh towns made this the perfect weekend summer trip.

    Francine2019-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful 4 night stay at Sam’s, the accommodation was sparkling clean and had everything I could want. Sam had left me tea bags, half and half, orange juice, water , fruit and granola bars, plenty to get me through the first night after a long flight and drive. However, right next door is the general store with fresh bagels and muffins among loads of other stuff. Sam very kindly drove me to my venue on 2 nights, which was wonderful as I could have a drink and not worry about driving. Thank you Sam for a very enjoyable stay. Maria

He also drove me to a nearby venue when I was stranded the next morning; above and beyond! I absolutely recommend this host and home to anyone!

  • Ingrids place is clean comfortable and perfect for a couple. The area is great for hiking in the spring, fall, and summer.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed at Ingrid’s place for a ski trip and it was nothing short of amazing. The amenities, location, cleanliness, and communication was beyond our expectations. Highly recommend Ingrid’s place to anyone looking to stay in the area. We will be returning again soon!

    Taylor2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Ingrid's space really exceeded our expectations. There were so many thoughtful and elegant touches. We were impressed! It was a very high quality Airbnb; one of the best we've stayed at. The only thing I'd mention is that an electric fireplace apparently doesn't produce real flame, something that I wasn't aware of when booking. While I may not have booked the space if I was aware that an electric fireplace is more like a space heater, I'm still glad that we stayed there because everything was so lovely otherwise. We wouldn't hesitate to book again if we were in the area.

  • Ingrid’s home is beautiful, cozy and serene and was one of the nicest Airbnbs we have stayed in. She was very communicative about check in instructions, and her home has many thoughtful touches like local recommendations, chocolates, candles and a variety of teas and coffee. We plan to visit again in summer to take advantage of the in enclosed deck!

Ten minutes from Gt Barrington, Simon's Rock, Butternut and Stockbridge, twenty to I-90, Tanglewood, Catamount and Kripalu, in a secluded and peaceful setting among old trees. Free ranging ducks contribute fresh eggs and entertainment. Coffee, tea and waffle ingredients are all provided. There is plenty of comfortable seating and Netflix or DVDs on the 60" TV. A propane fireplace makes it cozy in the winter, while a lofty ceiling, a/c and the shade of oaks and hemlocks keeps it cool.
The towels are dried on a clothesline so if you need exfoliation, and who doesn't, this is a plus. If slightly edgy art disturbs you deeply, if you have allergies, or a Daddy Long Legs freaks you out, this won't be your best choice. If you have bad knees, the furniture may be uncomfortably low. If mismatched sheets, or potatoes growing in tires offend your sensibilities, perhaps you should consider something more bland, which is not hard to find, but this isn’t it. Turkeys, bobcats, "trash pandas,” deer, ducks and the occasional bear ramble around at dawn and dusk. Frogs sing charmingly at night. Guests report sleeping very well.
Great for biking. Gently rolling hills, picturesque countryside, mostly respectful drivers, and a bike path through town.
  • Don’t come to Claire’s place looking for luxury (she’d be the first to tell you that), but if you like character and eccentricity and real realness, this is the place for you. My three-year-old son and I loved our time here. There are ducks (and duck eggs for breakfast) and trails and wild art and a very strong feeling of life well-lived. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience.

    Kirven2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • As all the other reviews said, this place was great. Claire greeted us upon arrival and couldn't have been more accommodating, The fresh coffee, waffles, and duck eggs were such a great touch. She even gave us a few eggs to take home. The space was cozy, relaxing and private but also very close to town. I will certainly be back again.

  • Cozy and interesting, Claire's place was fun to explore and comfy to stay in. Would stay again!

  • A lovely, eclectic private space to stay while enjoying the beauty of the Berkshire area. Wonderful treat to be able to cook fresh duck eggs in the morning provided by the host. It was a perfect place to stay with my family while on a mini vacation, and it is very close to all the shops and restaurants in Great Barrington. Highly recommend and would stay again in the future!

    Alice2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Claire's place is a gentle and artistic space that's great after a day of being out. It was sweet waking up to the cuteness of ducks out the window and having a nice kitchen to work in. Also, I found the bed upstairs in the loft to be really comfortable.

    Pete2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Claire’s Treehouse is a lovely little nook! Claire was a wonderful host and made herself available as needed.

And Lake Buel is a popular spot for ice fishing.
  • On the edge of the beautiful Lake Buel, this house has some of the best views of the area. Everything was clean with updated appliances. Lots of seating in every room and outside. It was very windy when we stayed so we didn’t use the fire pit, but it looked very relaxing. I actually proposed to my now fiancé right on this very deck! We’re very excited to return someday!

  • Perfect cottage for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the views, the kayaks, and nearby restaurants in Great Barrington. Also hiked on the Appalachian Trail just down the road.

  • A clean, comfortable, stylish home in a gorgeous setting close to town...just bring the bug spray!

    Jessica2018-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Cathy and Joel's cottage was absolutely stunning! The place was tastefully decorated and well-equipped for cooking. The local recommendations were spot-on, especially Cantina 229. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. We look forward to returning and enjoying the lakeside retreat in a different season.

    Katrina2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here in late September to relax after our daughter's wedding. The house decor was up-to-date, very clean, with a very comfortable bed. The deck views of the lake were great. We even got a close glimpse of a bald eagle one afternoon! We used the kayaks for some lovely late-afternoon trips around the lake. We recommend Cantina 229 for a casual dinner nearby. A wonderful get-away!

  • My family and I had a great time at this AirBNB over the Christmas holiday! It was a beautiful space with lots of nice touches (think: our hosts had prepared the wood burning stove in advance; lots of chopped firewood; lots of info on local events). The spot easily sleeps six adults and has a great, big kitchen for lots of cooking. I would definitely stay here again. We were there in the winter but there was lots of outdoor space and I imagine in the summer it would be really fun to stay there, too!

    Caitlin2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Cottage Chic was such a lovely stay. We struggled to leave because it was so cozy and a great space to relax. This home is bigger than the photographs and feels warm. The host was very attentive and easy-going. I will definitely book this soon again.

    Alex2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the charming cottage. It is located an easy drive from Great Barrington and Stockbridge. The house is very open and stylish. We were happy to have the air conditioning units because it was on the warmer side when we visited. We also really enjoyed the backyard and fire pit. Check-in when smoothly and we loved the place overall!

    Liz2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Behind the modest exterior is a surprisingly roomy, warm, modern, comfortable home. Perfect amount of homey touches without feeling like you are surrounded by someone’s personal items. Cooks’ kitchen is well outfitted, and the very responsive owner even left some wine in the fridge. 15-20 minutes to GB and Stockbridge, less than 30 to Lenox. Definitely would stay here again!

    Michael2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at this gem of a cottage in the Berkshires! Perfect jumping off place for lots of local spots and a great kitchen and spacious yard. Would absolutely come back!

    Margaret2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful, quiet, private oasis... a little bigger than it looks in the photos but still cozy. Thoughtful, gracious hosts, too: a bottle of wine welcomed us, plus coffee and cream for the morning, welcomed us... Thanks for a great vacation!

    Amy2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • House was perfect (we’d love for them to design/decorate ours) and beds were super comfortable.

    Tim2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is cozy and beautifully but simply decorated. Very nice linens, too. The setting is private which is great, but you are still within 10-15 minutes of good restaurants and things to do in Great Barrington and Stockbridge. The air conditioning was heavenly (we had just rented an AirBnb without it immediately before this trip). We also really appreciated the little thoughtful touches the hosts did that made the stay easier like providing coffee for us so we didn’t need to get groceries before arrival. We were here in summer but this would make an amazing fall or winter AirBnb too! Very close to Butternut for those who ski and/or the AT for those who hike. Thanks for a great stay!

Enjoy the beautiful Berkshires with a getaway to our comfortable home with its "in the woods" feel, but close to all amenities. The property can best be described as tranquil. At home, you can relax in the beautiful screened in porch during the warmer months or gather around the outside fire pit on those colder days. Just step out the front door to take a walk to the nearby winery - one of the many things to do in close proximity.
Warm and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and a big country dining room table for family and friend gatherings, the open floor plan separates the living and dining areas with the careful placement of furniture. There is a wood burning stove in the living area. The home has a 1st floor bedroom and full bath. 2 more bedrooms and a second full bath are up one flight of stairs. There is an outdoor fire pit - perfect for warming up after snowshoeing through the protected wooded land bordering the property. For those warmer Summer nights, the bedrooms each have a window air conditioner. Although cell phone service is limited you can use your phone by turning on wifi calling. There is also a landline for guest use, internet service and cable TV.
With world-class cultural attractions--including Berkshire Theatre Festival, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, MASS MoCA, the Norman Rockwell Museum, Tanglewood and Williamstown Theatre Festival--the Berkshires offer sophisticated, luxurious living in a rural setting.
  • Craig was super responsive and his place was perfect for our getaway. Would absolutely return!

  • Lovely, cozy, quiet home-away-from-home with lots of amenities and plenty of fun activities nearby. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spotless and the screen porch is fabulous!! Thanks Craig.

    Annie2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • It was a perfect facility for our family. Nice layout. Very conveniently located to Tanglewood, Stockbridge and Otis. Craig is very attentive to any questions.

    Richard &Amp; Vicki2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • A totally relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Terrific screened in porch where you hear bird songs all day and can see the stars at night. Nice breezes, and though the temps were in the 80s, the inside stayed nice and cool with just the windows and overhead fans. Very comfortable couch and pillows. Great place to enjoy the quiet of the country!

    Donna2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great property- super relaxing and some beautiful country. Craig was indeed a super-host. Responded quick and was willing to modify the reservation.

    Steve2019-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Craig’s place was exactly what we needed for a girls weekend. We had a blast! The screened in porch was a great place to hang out, and the property was close (within 15-20 minutes) to Great Barrington and some great restaurants. The winery up the street was really fun to go do a tasting at. And there are plenty of hike nearby. We did monument mountain, which was close and about a 3 mile route. We will come coming back to the Berkshires for sure!

    Shanna2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot in the Berkshires and the house is fantastic. Wood stove inside with very comfortable couches and a screened in back deck to hangout on is a perfect combo. Two grills - propane and charcoal - and a full kitchen made cooking at the house our go-to but Great Barrington is only 10-15min away. Would definitely come back!

    Mike2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was a FANTASTIC place to stay - we spent much of our weekend at Craig's place on the beautiful back porch, which overlooks a pond and nature preserve. An outstanding space with great amenities, and a responsive and helpful host.

  • The Keye's house with Sam as host was the perfect place for a quiet New England summer weekend. The house was beautifully furnished. All parts of the building were clean & airy. Sam put out coffee, juice and fruit to start our day every morning. The general next door supplied all of our daytime needs in a friendly unpretentious way. The weekend included a concert at Tanglewood. All in all it was a great experience. We hope to come back soon.

Even the liquid soap color was chosen to complement the decor. Each morning we were greeted with good coffee, Juice, fruit and cream embedded in ice. All in this beautiful home. Sam was very accommodating and answered thoroughly every question we had. We used his tips for recommended sights, commute and more. Hope to come again. So far, the best AIRBNB we ever stayed in.

  • Fabulous, extremely clean, cozy and stocked with every amenity you could imagine Berkshires home. Our group of 2 families with 4 adults and 4 kids had more than enough space. We took walks in the beautiful backyard and spent a good amount of time snuggled up in the living room. The smart tv was an added bonus for movies for the kids, (Disney+) :) We hope to visit again in the future!

  • We had an amazing time at Ryan's place. It was very clean and spacious, and we enjoyed meals out on the screened-in porch. We listened to owls and looked at the stars at night. It's a beautiful and well maintained property. Thanks again for your hospitality, Ryan!

    Jennifer2019-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect. Everything was clean and organized, the house was well lit, and the instructions were very clearly laid out and communicated. We did see a family of bears walking through the back yard one morning, it was very cool to watch from the kitchen. The house is phenomenal, well appointed, and decorated. We loved the mix of mid-century furniture with the rustic feel of the house. All in all, it was the perfect house for our stay, and I would absolutely look here first next time I’m looking to book in the area. Thank you again!

We are offering a peaceful, quiet cottage home as a place for people to “land” when they are looking for a cozy safe haven to call their own for a while. We are private enough to feel rural but 3/4 OF A MILE FROM BUTTERNUT SKI MOUNTAIN & 3.5 miles from Railroad St in GB. We offer amenities for adults & children from games, a playground, to a screened in patio & a stone fire pit for lighting up the night with those you love -all surrounded by our 3.6 acres of beautiful woods & protected wetlands
When you pull into our long private driveway surrounded by nature, Our lovely cottage style home greets you with a rustic yet modern grey board and batten exterior and the sense of “coming home.” You then enter the home from a small wood deck that leads into the open concept kitchen/dining area. There are two living spaces. The living space just off the kitchen to the left creates a cozy open concept mingling area that allows you to cook from our stainless appliances while visiting family and friends. There is a smart tv (has Netflix, Hulu and YouTube) in this living room and this living space is surrounded by the three bedrooms and the bathroom - making it easy to access your private space from the main cottage center. To the right of the kitchen/dining area, is a step down into the 2nd living area that holds the pull out couch. This area has been designed for the child (or inner child in us all). It also has a flat screen tv with a fire stick (for viewing Disney+,Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and listening to pandora etc). There is an office desk and chair in this space for work related matters and shelves with books for adults and children alike. A pottery barn child’s wood table with 2 accompanying chairs make eating and art time easy and fun. Board games for all ages, a full wooden train set with trains, duplo legos and puzzles dress the shelves as well. Both living spaces have functioning wood burning stoves...The stoves are usable but not without signing a waiver form first. You also will need to purchase the wood for burning if you choose to use them. We have a brand new heat and air conditioning system throughout the house so the temperature should always be comfortable to each guest. Part of the front yard is the expansive stone/rock parking area and then the other part is a grassy area with the wood swing set and slide. The back yard can be accessed by walking around the house or through the sliding glass door in the dining/kitchen area. This sliding door leads to a back porch with an outdoor dining table. Follow the rock trail to our stone fire pit then continue the path to the screened in gazebo where the gas grill is located (perfect for bug free entertaining). All of this space is yours to use. Please do not venture into the tall ferns or grass as we are in the woods and protected wetlands and it attracts an ecosystem of all sorts of creatures and bugs. Best to stay in the designated areas. Welcome to our modern, rustic Zen Oasis! Enjoy!!!!
The Zen Cottage is nestled within 3.6 acres of our own private land (and surrounded by additional protected wetlands). It’s the perfect place for anyone who wants a little solitude but still wants to experience the many gifts that Great Barrington has to offer, as it is only a 3 mile jaunt into town and only 3/4 of a mile from Butternut Ski Mountain.

  • We loved our stay here! Everything was exactly as expected- better, even! We got very clear directions to the property, clear notes and labels in the space, and a warm welcome by their friendly corgis! They have everything you need to cook up a storm or just throw on a pot of tea and curl up on the couch. Their environmental consciousness shows through and they’ve made it very easy to help them compost and dispose/recycle appropriately. All of the little details, like a plush rug on either side of the bed, flashlights on the nightstand, and honey from their bees, really made this stay exceptional.

  • This place is incredible! Surpassed all expectations, Elisabeth and Ricky are the most generous and kind hosts I’ve ever encountered. Made the whole experience extra wonderful. Home is so beautiful and clean too.

  • Elisabeth and Ricky’s Berkshires apartment in Sheffield is absolutely incredible. The space was pristine with well thought amenities such as fresh eggs, milk, kitchen accessories and other that made our stay tremendous... you can easily stay and cook meals right in their renovated and spacious kitchen. The home is very comfortable and had special touches throughout — excellent Wifi, teas and coffee with coffee makers, toasters, microwave and stove. Bathrooms were stocked with everything in case you forgot one of those needed toiletries. Bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of storage and extra blankets/pillows. This wasn’t our first visit to the Berkshires but there is plenty of information regarding activities and places of interest that made planning any excursions simple and easy. Loved everything about Copper Hill and will definitely be staying again in the future!!

  • Great place to stay with beautiful scenery. The airbnb was extremely clean, relaxing, and very close to many points if interest in the Berkshire's. Elisabeth offered lots of helpful suggestions and stocked the place with helpful amenities (breakfast items, tea, flashlights toiletries, etc). Perfect place for a weekend getaway, highly recommend, we hope to return in the future during foliage.

  • Elisabeth & Ricky well deserve the title "super hosts". Their property and apartment are wonderful. They are conscientious and warm hosts. You wont need anything more than a toothbrush for your stay. Their lovely personal touches will make you feel welcomed and appreciated in a way you wouldn't experience even in a five star resort. This space is absolutely perfect for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

  • Elisabeth and Ricky's place is absolutely spectacular! Not only are the views amazing, the small touches throughout this cozy little space really make this place extra special. From eggs from their chickens, to the fixings provided for a yummy breakfast, to the super comfy bed, this is definitely a spot that we will be returning to in the spring/summer.
