Great place and great people. Kevin was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Perfect place for a family ski vacation. Could not have been happier.

We enjoyed our stay at Kevin's house tremendously, beautiful renovation and perfect location to go skiing at Ski Butternut or food shopping in Great Barrington. House was warm and cozy, fireplace worked great and cast iron stove was a big plus to relax and read all day.

We enjoyed our stay. There was a good vibe about the house. Seemed like it was home. My wife loved the whole decor, Relaxed by the fire, Played games, Watched TV, Shopped @ little local stores, Grabbed a bite to eat, and of course close to skiing but... we never mastered that activity. Gotta have AT&T cell for the stay. My Metro PCS (GSM) didn't work in the immediate area, but did in Great Barrington. Butternut has wifi if needed. Light switches were unique and scattered about on the ground floor.

We felt so relaxed and at home during our visit. The house was incredibly clean and cozy. Kevin always replied right away if we had any questions. The kids ran around outside on the lawn all day and played on the tire swing. We would highly recommend staying at this house and hope to be back for a visit in the future!

We loved staying at Bonnie and Don's home in the Berkshires! The photos don't do the space justice. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Don was more than accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay, even going as far as to give us a ride to our friends' wedding down the road when our transportation fell through. We highly recommend Bonnie and Don's home for anyone interested in a relaxing and comfortable stay in the Berkshires.

Bonnie and her husband Donald were welcoming and friendly starting before we even arrived at their place. Knowing that most cell phones have little to no reception in their area (and therefore spotty GPS) Bonnie wrote out detailed directions for us to follow to get to her place from the highway. We should have followed them. We got lost but somehow found a spot with just enough cell reception to make a call and to our surprise Donald drove out to where we were and met us so we could follow him back to their place! Truly saved the day. When we arrived the apartment was clean, comfortable and fully stocked with fresh fruit, bagels, coffee, tea, towels, clean bedding, local maps and "to do" lists, satellite TV and more. Definitely the most well stocked AirBnB i've come across so far! Knowing that we were going to a wedding that night and would likely be having fun and drinking, Donald advised us that if we needed a ride home he would come pick us up so we didn't get in any trouble on the road. He even offered to take us kayaking on the lake behind their place the next day! If we ever find ourselves back in New Marlborough, this is where we'll be staying.

My host, Bonnie, has been incredibly flexible and accommodating. She made sure my dogs even had a special place to sleep! She was quick to respond to any of my communication which is greatly appreciated. The space was perfect for my me and my husband and 2 dogs. The space was clean and well kept up as well.

Bonnie and Don were super helpful. Especially in the arrival process where I may have taken the wrong road but Don was there waiting for us to flag us down on the street. Haha. The place was immaculate, cozy, and felt like a hotel. Especially with the delicious muffins on the counter for us and yogurts/fruit in the fridge. And the Kerrigan was stocked and loaded for our busy morning. If ever in the area again we will certainly stay here!!

Felt like home! Bonnie and Donald we're amazing! They were super friendly and welcoming! They went out of their way to make sure that our stay was picture perfect! Even for our extra large puppy Ruby. They had a bed for her all laid out, complete with bowls, crate, and treats! We will definitely be back!

When we had a prior reservation fall through, not only did Deanna accommodate us with a day's notice, she welcomed us so warmly that we felt as though we were staying at a friend's home for the weekend. There was a basket of surprise goodies upon arrival, and she made sure everything was spotless and comfortable for our family. The photos don't do her adorable home filled with one-of-a-kind antiques and details justice. The tranquil sound of running water directly behind the home, the cozy wood stove fireplace, and no distracting TV made for a a much-needed retreat from city life. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home and would absolutely recommend it!

My event staff and I rented this beautiful home for 2 nights so we could have a retreat/meeting day in a focused and comfortable environment, and so folks from afar could make the journey a bit easier. We were very happy with this lovely home - well stocked kitchen, wood burning stove, a cozy living room that allowed us to relax and talk comfortably, and it is a quiet area so we felt very relaxed. This would be a perfect rental for a vacationing family, and we'd gladly also stay here again next time we are due for our retreat. We also appreciated the very kind and quick communication by the host!

My family and one other spent new years weekend at the mill house. it was a fantastic trip! the house is perfect for young children - we had 4 ages 3-7. we did some sledding in the backyard, made a bon fire by the stream, and spent time with the neighbors and their farm animals! Deanna was easy to deal with and always available to answer questions. Perfect host.

We stayed here for a family wedding that was in the area, it was perfect. Gary went above and beyond. He knew we where coming for a wedding and went out and bought a brand new iron and ironing board in case it was needed. We would definitely stay here again, the place was spotless and well stocked.

We had a perfect weekend in this lovely village home! Our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter were attending a wedding at Gedney Farm and we were thrilled to find such a beautiful rental a few minutes from the Farm. The house has been renovated (country chic) from top to bottom and equipped with EVERYTHING needed for cooking and relaxing. The hosts even set up a play area with a doll house and books that their children had loved. The bakery/cafe across the street was a big hit, but our favorite activity was sitting on the front porch, drinking wine and watching the comings and goings of the village. We've rented many airbnb homes, but this was by far the most charming and most comfortable.

Booking this home was extremely easy. Gary was very helpful and quick to respond to all of my inquiries. He was at the house when we arrived to give us the keys. The house exactly as pictured. It is fully stocked with the tools you need to cook, which we did. It was really nice to only have to bring the food. The house was also very clean. We really enjoyed the fireplaces. The location was great. It was very quiet and we all felt safe. We went across the street for coffee and brunch and it was a quick trip in to town. Gary had a great notebook with ideas of things to do, places to go and food to eat. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again. This home is great for families and groups of friends.

Lovely house, near to Butternut

The house was as lovely and clean as in the pictures. This charming old house has been renovated with love and care. We loved walking to breakfast at the Southfield Store and will be back for sure!

Gary's house is a wonderful home for a relaxing family gathering. Gary was there to meet us and show us around. The house was spotlessly clean and well organized. The kitchen was amazing....we found everything that we needed. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds, nice closets, good reading lights. There was a nice large dining room which was perfect for family meals. The living room was comfortable and had a large tv with streaming access. There is a private apartment behind the main house with one bedroom and an equally well equipped kitchen. The neighborhood is rural, quiet and very pretty....off the beaten track but only minutes from neighboring towns. There is a wonderful coffee shop/restaurant almost across the street. If you are lucky enough to be at Gary's house in the warm weather there is a nice big deck with grill. (next time!!) All in all a wonderful place to spend some relaxing time!!

We had a fantastic time in Barbara and Mike's apartment. It had everything we needed, the location is convenient but off the main road, and the price is right! As others have said, the hospitality is great. Barbara made delicious scones, and the binder with local info was very helpful. I enjoyed jogging in the area. I would only note one thing that doesn't seem to be in the existing info about the apartment, which is that some of the ceilings are low (with a sloped roof), so any very tall people might want to take that into account. We (average height) were totally fine.

A lovely place in the country! The location was close to Great Barrington, but seemed removed and restful. The place is spacious, especially for just one, and Barbara was very kind to bring scones. I arrived very late and she was very accommodating. Also, it was a great area for running.

Barbara's place was quiet and cozy, the perfect place to get away for the weekend. My wife and I stayed there the weekend after our wedding for our "mini-moon" and Barbara had left out prosecco and glasses for us. She was a very friendly host.

This place worked out quite well. It was clean and comfortable. It is near Gedney Farms where we attended a wedding. We brought a pac n play and an air mattress so we had a cozy place to babysit our grand kids who were too young to stay up for all the late night activities. Barbara and her husband were good hosts, and keep a clean nice apartment in a lovely site.

We spent two days at the apartment while attending a wedding at the nearby Gedney Farm. Barbara was easy to reach prior to our arrival and her husband Michael was there to greet us even though we arrived an hour late. The apartment was perfect for a couple, with a kitchen, dining area, porch, and comfortable bed. It is located in a quiet rural area, but with easy access to Route 7 and the attractions of the Berkshires. Michael helped us to get orientated to the area, even drawing a map to our destination, while Barbara shared some of her delicious scones. We definitely recommend Barbara's apartment.

Barbara was so kind and helpful. I asked briefly if they had a barbeque grill when we arrived, and the next day she had set it up on the back porch for us to use whenever we were going to need it.

This was our first Air Bnb experience & it was more then we could have hoped for. We were caught in major traffic coming from Philadelphia & Barbara was so kind & understanding as we kept her apprised of our status. The place was as pictured & so adorable. There were fresh scones (that smelled & tasted heavenly) & fresh picked flowers waiting for us upon arrival. After a quick walk through we were on our way to the pre wedding party. When we returned that evening we were greeted by a cool breeze blowing through the windows & the sweet sounds of nature echoing outside. We lazily spent the morning relaxing on the porch & taking in the quiet peaceful setting. When we went back inside the temperature had grown warmer so we turned on the air conditioner & left the fans on & it was perfect. Most of Saturday was spent at a family wedding but Sunday we explored Umpachene Falls & other local areas suggested by Barbara. It was the most relaxing weekend get away we've had in a long time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone headed to the area. In fact we told our cousin to recommend it to any family & friends coming to visit him in the future. We couldn't be happier.

Danielle was really responsive during the booking and arrival. She was helpful with local recommendations when asked what area to eat, site see, and see the fireworks. The house is in a great location just East of Great Barrington. The house was clean and everything worked as it should. Located on a quiet country road though Danielle's main house is close to the guest house (maybe 80 feet?). Kitchen is newly renovated basically equipped with place settings, 1 chef knife, a few pots and pans (sufficient if you are not planning to cook or bake anything elaborate). Bathroom was spacious and updated. Master bedroom bed was a bit old and the bed was slanted so it was uncomfortable to sleep on. The pull out couch in the living room was comfortable for the second couple. We've rented previous Airbnb houses in the area before so we were surprised when basics amenities like hand and bar soap were not provided and that we were told by the host to buy our own toilet paper and paper towels after the first roll was provided. Overall, my friends and I had a great time scoping out the area, we just encountering a few hiccups while staying here.

What a great hidden cottage! Danielle thought of both little and important details. There were plenty of extra blankets and new containers of orange juice and milk. She even put out muffins. The cottage was close by a stream and fish hatchery and you could hear the soothing sound of water. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Our goal for the weekend was to tune out and get away from the bustle of daily life. Danielle's place was the perfect choice! When we arrived, she had left the lights on, a candle lit and fresh flowers on the counter for us (very sweet:) The Apartment is quiet, private, roomy, clean, and looks exactly like the pictures. Waking up to a house flooded with sunlight from the skylights was lovely. We loved being able to cook our own meals and the kitchen was roomy enough for us both to work. Not listed, was that there is a dvd player and Dish-network so you can curl up on the couch with a movie (some provided) if you like. Plenty of books to read too. Also provided were towels, and basic toiletries. Although we never met in person, Danielle was very helpful texting us suggestions for local places to eat, play and visit:) I would definitely stay here again!

The property and the house couldn't be more relaxing. So unique and amazing to stay in a lighthouse in the middle of the woods. The house was beautiful with lots of different spaces to hang out. Bed super comfortable. Great shower pressure and heat. We spent almost 90% of our time outside on top of the light house to watch the colors and stars. Being secluded without feeling TOO far away from everything was great for us city folk. Icing on the cake was how responsive yet chill Lisi was. There wasn't a ton of checkin/checkout rules, she had a lot provided for us prior to our arrival, and was helpful when we had questions.

Very secluded and peaceful, the bedroom is a really nice cozy nest. The pantry items were much appreciated. The beautiful falls are really close and worth the short walk. We had a few turn arounds, late at night getting there as a nearby bridge is closed. Our Nav system didn't know and 'Waze" directions probably would have worked but no T Mobile coverage.

Great home in the woods ! The lighthouse was well equipped, unique and picturesque. The pantry items definitely came in handy! Tucked away but still very accessible our stay was perfect. We went for a fall foliage trip and the area was beautiful. From mountain views to marshes and barns to waterfall hikes you had it all ! Lisi was very comminicative about directions and we had no problem finding the location. We had at&t cell service, but verizon was spotty at best. This was a wonderful air bnb to get away from it all. Seeing the treetops from the top of the lighthouse was icing on the cake !

We LOVED our stay at Sky Light Lighthouse!! My husband and I wanted to unplug for the weekend and connect with nature and this was the perfect place to spend Columbus Day weekend. We loved that it was in the middle of the woods, had no tv/internet access, and was extremely private. Not having the option of constantly checking our phones was awesome and really let us focus on spending time with each other. Even my husband who is a tech freak loved that he had to find creative ways to occupy his time. The Lighthouse was very clean and tastefully decorated in a nautical theme. Lisi was a great host and was available if we had any questions. She also included many little extras like bread, bottled water, jam, nutella, etc. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved falling asleep to silence. We really liked that towels and all linens were provided and that there was a kitchen area if we wanted to cook. Other than clothes, you really don't have to bring much up with you. The views of the changing leaves from the top of the lighthouse in the fall were incredible! The top of the lighthouse is also a great place to enjoy a good book. This is the perfect retreat if you are an artist, writer, musician, nature enthusiast, or just want to relax with no distractions. We brought up some guitars and they sounded amazing in the lighthouse. We have never felt so relaxed returning from a vacation. My only recommendation would be to bring a gps with you. We only had our phone's gps, and since we did not have phone service, we had to actually look at a map when we left the lighthouse like the old days haha. The lighthouse is in a really great location too and close to many attractions in the Berkshires. Great Barrington is only 20 minutes away and has a lot of restaurant options. We visited Naumkeag (an old beautiful mansion) in Stockbridge because it was raining. The mansion and gardens are gorgeous and we loved hearing about the history! If you want a slightly challenging hike, I recommend Alander Mountain which is about 45 minutes away on the border of New York. The views are incredible at the top and there was nobody there when we hiked it. Also, Bash Bish waterfalls is close by Alander Mountain and is definitely worth seeing. We also hiked the Ice Glen trail in Stockbridge and that was beautiful too. We travel A LOT and this is one of the most unique and relaxing places we have ever stayed. I don't usually go back to places that I visit because my "trip list" is incredibly long, but I'm going to have to make an exception for this place because it was that wonderful of a stay.

Our stay at the Skylight was simply amazing! This is the perfect place for a couple to get away for the weekend. It is romantic, peaceful, quite and serene. I would highly recommend this to someone who is looking to get away and disconnect for the weekend. The lighthouse is so cute, cozy, warm and unique. I have never stayed in a place like it and I would again! Lisi is a GREAT host, she provided suggestions for food and activities. The house was also well stocked with coffee, bread, butters and jams and other small goodies which made the experience all the better. Though we never met she was the anchor that made the entire experience truly magical. Breakfast and coffee on the top deck is my fondest memory. Umpache Falls, which is a quick 5 min drive down the road is a perfect easy hike with an amazing view! The Red Lion Inn (20 min drive) provided for the perfect lunch (best clam chowder on the east!) We went to the White Hart and Catina 229 for dinner--- both were rustic, authentic and amazing! Service and food were GREAT. All Around I would stay here again for sure! I highly recommended the Sky Light to those looking to "go off the grid" with no wifi, no cell service (T-mobile + Verizon) in the middle of the woods. A true, peace and quite weekend. Thank you Lisi! The Sky Light is amazing! I will be coming back for sure!

Jennifer was a very pleasant and kind host. Her home is in a lovely quiet area. Particularly lovely with the fall colors. Easily found with GPS. I would return to this Airbnb and recommend it to others.

We were only able to stay with Jenifer for a night, but she made us feel at home before we even got there. She was very responsive and incredibly helpful with directions and things to do in the local area. We are definitely looking to make the trip back to New Marloborough to stay with Jenifer and Smokey (the sweetest cat in the world) again.

Jennifer is the consummate host and totally knowledgeable about the arts and note helpful than most Concierge desks! And she shares graciously kitchen and living room. Bedroom is small but bed is firm and very comfortable.

Our experience at the Jillifer House was just wonderful. We were welcomed so graciously to the cosy home by Jill and her daughter (and the sweetest cat ever, Smokey). We never felt like strangers and left as friends. A bowl of cherries welcomed us at our bedside along with fresh basket of towels and information about the beautiful Berkshire mountain. We were there to attend my brothers choral concert at the Berkshire school. Jill answered all of our multitiute of questions ranging from directions and places to eat, places to hike/bike as well as possible locations for my brother to live in the future! I am sure we will be back to this area again and look forward to renting from Jill again.

Listing accurate; street numbers are hard to see for the house which is generally true of the entire road; perhaps a mileage count in the directions? It's about 3 miles from the turn off onto Hartsville-New Marlborough Road, at a bend in the road. Key left for me no problem.

Jenifer's home was very comfortable, and Jenifer was very courteous and easy to talk to. She helped us a lot in terms of directions, and was very easy to talk to while at her home. She had water and snacks laid out for us, as well as many extra toiletries. I would definitely recommend Jenifer's home.

June's place is incredible. Her and her husband are a delightful couple that really know how to host people. Not only do they provide farm fresh eggs and berries but they will make you tea at night. They provide the perfect amount of conversation and helpful information to really enhance your time in Sheffield. The room is on the first floor with an enormous bed that could sleep three if needed. The farm is very quiet. If you are going to Sheffield I would recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

June was a most gracious host and we really enjoyed our night in her home. We had booked this site but June upgraded us to the cottage which was absolutely perfect. We had everything we needed and more for a girls weekend.

We had a great stay at Wolfe Spring Farm. June and her husband were very welcoming, the farm and surrounding area are beautiful, and the accommodations were comfortable and private. We had full access to the living room to make a fire to sit by and the kitchen to make ourselves breakfast with farm fresh eggs in the morning!

Wonderful accommodations on a working organic farm. V. nice amenities, beautiful views of Berkshire hills, lots of interesting hikes and attractions nearby. June and Jim were wonderful hosts, gracefully accommodating even while running their farm. Can't wait to go back!

June and Jim are delightful hosts! Their home is a working farm - Jim's family has been farming the area for over 200 years. They have two houses. One is just for rentals-we did not get to see it. We stayed in the guest room in their home. The king size bed had a feather bed topper. The en suite bathroom is really neat! French press coffee was waiting in the morning! The view from the private porch is amazing!

Beautiful view out the bedroom window, overlooking a mountain range and large fields that reach for miles. There is a nice little town, I suggest the BBQ spot. Plenty of hikes in the area, on and off the property. June is great, her and her husband are very gracious and comforting. They let us cook breakfast with their fresh organic eggs, provided all the necessaries. They know the proper amount of socializing and privacy, great value!

Connie was the perfect hostess - attentive to our needs while respecting our privacy. The home is lovely and clean and the neighborhood is quiet. It was just what we were looking for. Can't wait to go back in July!

Connie's studio apartment was perfect for our weekend in the Berkshires! We were seeing a concert at Tangelwood, and the location was ideal. When we arrived, Connie had fruit, cheese, bread, jams and half and half ready for us. The apartment was lovely... It was so nice and sunny and very clean! It was nice to sit on the deck at the end of the day, having a glass of wine and listening to music. Connie was so nice when we met her, she couldn't have been more accommodating. With this being our first Air B&B experience, it by far exceeded our expectations. Thanks so much Connie!

Connie's studio is a lovely place to stay. It is spacious, bright, well organized, and beautiful. Both the studio itself and the grounds around it are well maintained and put together with a creative and tasteful eye. It had everything we needed and was filled with little details that helped make our stay wonderfully smooth. It is the perfect place for a private little getaway. Connie herself could not deserve the title of super-host more. She went an extra mile to help me get booked when there were complications and managed to be helpful and pleasant while also being discrete and giving us our privacy.

This was my second stay at Connie's Berkshire Studio and it was just as lovely this year as last year. Connie is a great host, she knows so much about the area and makes you feel welcome. The studio is a peaceful place, great for relaxing, or when it's sunny, I've enjoyed sitting out on the porch or the lawn. A great location that's quiet but near lots of wonderful hiking and attractions like Jacob's Pillow and Tanglewood.

This cabin is great - perfectly nestled along a back road and river. It is smartly decorated - shag carpet, chef's kitchen, renovated tile in bathroom - and the main room is quintessential rustic. Sarah is very responsive. The best part about the cabin is its off-the-grid feel - no televisions, no wifi or cell reception, which is a good thing. It's also pet-friendly and a perfect place to let the dog roam around (no fear of busy car traffic). The only thing lacking was an outdoor grill and the cabinets could have been better stocked with bare essentials (like paper towels, which we ran out of on the first day, as well as dish soap, and a bar soap in the bathroom). But overall this was an amazing place for the price and we'd definitely go back!

Our family (four adults) absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The house is lovingly decorated in a rustic-hip style and is secluded in the forest with a view of a stream. We didn't see or hear other humans the whole time we were there (which was just what we wanted). The beds and couches were comfortable, the kitchen was great for cooking, and we enjoyed sitting by the wood-burning stove in the evenings. We would definitely come back!

Sarah's cabin is so charming and wonderfully decorated. The surroundings are so peaceful and secluded. Our party included three couples, a 3 year old, and a small dog and we were very comfortable. The living room / kitchen are perfect for hanging out and enjoying the company of friends for a long weekend. Our group spent a day at York Lake about 15 minutes from the house BBQing, hiking and playing in the water. We also had dinner at the New Boston Inn Tavern one night about 7-10 minutes away and the food was so delicious (entrees range from $15-25). We spent the rest of the weekend playing games and cooking meals together. We wished there was a grill outside but we didn't miss it too much. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. We took advantage of the washer / dryer which was a lifesaver after we were caught in a rainstorm one day. Overall, we had an awesome time. The house is located about 2.5 hours from NYC and about 2.5 hours form Boston (where our friends came from) so it was really perfect for our group. We already can't wait to go back!

We loved the cabin. It is very charming and beautifully located with a lovely stream running behind it. It would be a great place to write your novel. The cabin was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped and extremely comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. Sarah was very responsive to requests for information including running trails and places to watch the world cup.

This is my second visit to Sarah's Cozy Log Cabin and it was just what the doctor ordered. While we missed peak foliage by about a week, we were still able to enjoy the serenity and peace of the location. The cabin is quaint and charming and you really have everything you need. If you are looking for a place to unplug and enjoy quality time with family, friends and loved ones, this is the perfect spot!

My friends and I rented this cabin for a friend's wedding at nearby Gedney Farm. The cabin was exactly what we needed. Surprisingly spacious and very cozy, my friends and I felt right at home. Though the weather was extremely hot that weekend, the cabin stayed relatively cool. There was a box fan in the closet of one of the bedrooms, but we brought a few of our own to be safe as the cabin is without A/C. The basement was cool and pleasant the entire weekend. Be sure to print out directions prior to heading up - cell phone service is very spotty. I have Verizon and was unable to get a signal all weekend. My friends have AT&T and would only get a signal every once and a while. Lastly, our host Sarah was very responsive and helpful. Such a pleasure to work with.

The open floor plan on the middle level make it a great space for multiple families to relax and dine together, while the bedrooms and bathrooms on the upper and lower floors make sleeping arrangements very separate and comfortable. Very adult, kid and pet friendly!

The house is perfect for big groups, and is very quiet and secluded. The living room and deck are great places to relax with water views, the WiFi worked well enough for about 10 phones to be connected to it and stream video onto the TV (I brought my own chromecast). Lots of outdoor space to play games. Watch out for ticks though. Hope to come back and bring my dog next time. Great place and a great deal for a big group.

Lauren's place is fantastic! I wen't with a couple of close friends for a weekend retreat to unplug and it did not disappoint. The house fit us all nicely, we were three couples and 2 single friends I think four people slept in the room with the bunkbeds though so just a heads up if your going with people that aren't that close that wouldn't be something to consider, there is a pull-out couch in the livingroom but it is the only common area also something to consider. The master suite was beautiful and with 2 and 1/2 baths we were all very comfortable. The kitchen was great for cooking big meals and well stocked with pans and condiments. The Views were amazing and the house is very light and airy. I would highly recommend this house! It's about a 20 minute ride to Great Barrington and there are also hiking trails near by!

It's a place where you can relax , have fun with family and friends . The house was fully equipped with all the necessary items . Just take note : if u forget something you will have to drive 20-30 mins into the town. It was a fun time

The house was well equipped, spacious, cozy and beautiful! It was quiet, secluded and had lovely views of the lake. I can only imagine this place in the summer! I highly recommend this home for you, your family and friends! Oh and pets are welcome too! Win win!

Lauren's house is absolutely gorgeous, and I don't think the pictures do it justice. My friends and I had a great time and Lauren was a wonderful host. The only "negative" if there was one was that the closest gas station was quite far away so just a mental note to anyone renting in the future to fill up/get essentials on your way there.

Description of the property was accurate. Eric keeps a very nice lake house which we were very pleased with. Great deck overlooking the lake and the sleeping arrangements were better than advertised.

Place is exactly as advertised. Comfortable lake house in the Berkshires. Spent the weekend with another couple and we had a great time! Unfortunately it was too cold to go out on the lake (our stay was late November), but would love to come back in the summer!

This was the perfect spot for a one-night getaway for my birthday. Eric was great to communicate with, always prompt in replies, and the pictures he posted are an accurate depiction of the house. We loved the large living space, sun room, and the deck right on the lake! Kayaks were a great bonus and we got our use out of them! Thanks for everything, we will definitely keep the spot in mind for future trips.

Everything was fantastic!! We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Everything was neat and organized. The beds were extremely comfortable. The linens, blankets, pillows and towels were clean and lovely. There was ample cooking equipment and dishes, cups etc. We were able to find everything we needed. They thought of everything including the bug zappers!

Eric is the best host I've had yet. Check in was a breeze, the house was clean (and beautiful) and he even left us a bottle of wine. He's always available for information regarding the property and gave very fast responses to any question I had. I couldn't ask for a better night. The lake was warm, although a bit murky. If you're a squeamish swimmer when it comes to seaweed, you might be better off enjoying the giant raft or the kayaks. Beds were comfortable, the AC was, if anything, too good, but overall a wonderful experience.

This place is really close to Butternut and Catamount is only ten minutes. Great Barrington has a lot to offer in terms of shops and restaurants. The house is well set up with trundle beds under the regular beds, great for families. It's an older style home but very functional. It's right on the lake, which is a nice size. Other homes are right next door, but nobody was around on this weekend.

We had a wonderful weekend in the Berkshires at Erics home. The house was clean and comfortable, and the lakefront location was beautiful. We're planning on returning in the summer!

We had a great & relaxing time at this cozy cottage. Wonderful place for a little get away and the cottage is a short drive away from Great Barrington. Robert was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Definitely recommend this house!

We had a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The house was exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and and Robert (the host) was available via email or text to answer my questions. It's very close to Butternut for skiing. As the host recommends, an AWD vehicle is needed in the winter. We would be happy to rent this home again.

We had a lovely time in great Barrington. The house is charming and has all the amenities for a delightful family stay in the Berkshires; our host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We would Definitely rent this home again.

Robert's cottage was wonderful and he was great to work with. The directions provided got us right to Robert's adorable cottage where we felt right at home. GPS doesn't work in the area and Waze got us lost so the directions were a must and could not have been any clearer. Great for kids, they loved picking out their rooms with the brightly colored quilts and spent their free time watching DVDs and reading through the books in the house. The adults enjoyed relaxing by the fire with the extra blankets. Quiet and cozy, the cottage is a 5 minute drive to Great Barrington's delicious restaurants and cute shops. We loved taking a quick walk to the lake, walking on the ice, and chatting with the local ice fisherman. Thanks for a fun family getaway!

We had a very pleasant stay at this cozy cottage over Memorial Day weekend. Robert was a very attentive host and replied to all messages and inquiries right away. Overall, the house met our expectations. We were pleased with our experience and found this house to be a good value for the price. Here are the highlights, below. Pros: Well-stocked house (plenty of towels, dishes, dry goods, etc.), nice bathrooms, great hot water/water pressure, brand new washer/dryer, open living/dining/kitchen floor plan, plenty of toys for our kids to play with, short 5-minute walk to the lake for swimming, very friendly neighborhood--everyone waves and says hello as you walk down the road to the lake. Cons: Low ceilings/ceiling beams (a member of our group was 6'3" and he had to duck under the beam in the kitchen). Also, we could have used more fans (it was 90 degrees!).

Robert’s cozy cottage was the perfect location for our weekend stay in the Berkshires. We enjoyed the more secluded area near the lake but we were still a short drive away from downtown Great Barrington and all the yummy restaurants and shops. The screened in porch was great for afternoon snacking while avoiding the bugs. The wifi worked well and we enjoyed rummaging through the puzzles and games to keep us entertained. The bedrooms are simple with fun colorful linens and lots of blankets for cooler nights. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Thanks!
