Seafood Restaurant
“Ask for Tami and tell her Marlene and Paul sent you. For lunch; mouth watering medium rare sliders with blue cheese mayo, and the fish tacos with avocado sauce topped with mango salsa and chipotle ranch ( they serve so much that you can turn 2 into 4 very easily). Dinner? 16 oz. cut of medium rare Prime Rib and have them sear it...yummmyyyy”

“Surf and Turf Baby. Voted best restaurant in Newport. Tell the owners, Janell and Hann Goplen, or manager, Yesinia, that Marlene and Paul sent you. Ask if there are any Wine Pairing Dinners coming up. Great treat! Also, best view to watch the Sea Lions taking a little break”

“Good Chowder (try some red tabasco on top) , also try the 1 1/2 lbs. Manilla Steamer Clams in buttery wine goodness. The fish sandwich is also great when you're really hungry.”

Bar
“Don't forget The Taphouse. One block south for the best 5 cheese pizza ever. Marlene loves to put pepperoni on top for the ultimate pizza experience. Their Nye Beach Burger offering is incredible, especially medium rare....juicy. Paul likes it with the seafood chowder instead of fries (healthier...yeah right). Marlene loves the Parmesan Garlic Fries. Ask for the Aioli dipping sauce for an extra treat. They all go great with any of the beers, cider, or (one of Marlene's favs) the root beer on tap. ”

Bar
“Learn how they make the magic while you drink your way through the tour. Grab some lunch at their tasty restaurant upstairs that overlooks the harbor...you're going to need it after the tour! On your way through the brewery, shop their clever souvenirs and take a little Rogue home with you. Ask how to join the Rogue Nation.”

“Looking for a close, quick bite to eat. This place is just around the corner. 1-2 minute walk. They serve a complimentary blueberry scone with your order that will knock your socks off! It is tiny hole in the wall so not great for large groups. Casual attire.”
