We enjoyed our stay for the weekend. The bathroom toilet and shower made really loud noises, we called it the toilet dragon. Other than that it was a nice finished basement apartment. Very comfortable bed and nice location.

Sheila's studio was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We'd recommend it to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Sheila was very communicative: she arranged for us to pick up the keys when we arrived. You don't expect much walking down into the basement, but once you open the door, it's beautiful! Lots of modern decorations, a very soft bed, and a huge bathroom! Highly recommend.

This was a very bright basement studio in walking distance to town. It was a quiet stay and a wonderful get away.

My girlfriend and I had a great time in Sheila's studio. The location is great and we walked to MOCA and dinner both nights we were there. It was also very convenient to some good hiking trails. The studio itself is very nicely decorated and has everything you could need for your stay. The shower was great and bed was very comfy and warm even when it was below freezing outside. Sheila's sister met us at the apartment and walked us in when we arrived. The only issue we had was with the noise from the apartment above us. Any walking in that apartment is pretty loud down in Sheila's studio and the bass for their tv was very audible as we were trying to go to sleep. In addition, the heating pipes around the apartment were clanking as they came on throughout the night. This was only a real issue the first night as the upstairs neighbors didn't move around as much and weren't watching tv the second night. Looking at the other reviews this does not seem to be a common complaint but I would suggest bringing some earplugs with you just in case. Overall, we had a very nice time in North Adams and would definitely stay in Sheila's studio next time we come back to the area.

The Potter House room is spacious, comfortable, quiet - everything I was looking for. It is within walking distance to downtown North Adams's attractions and to restaurants. Lois was helpful in communicating before our stay and during our departure. Good times!

This is a great, affordable place for anyone going to Mass MoCA. It's just a few minutes away and situated in a nice, clean, safe neighborhood. The room is very clean and neat--exactly as described and as in the photos. Lois was great sending an e-mail the night before and providing little amenities like really good coffee and milk (for coffee) in the refrigerator. There is a hairdryer, as well as high-grade shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The bed was very comfortable, and there is a thermastat in the room, so we could control the heat. Overall, lodging was very easy, convenient, and affordable. We'd love to do it again.

If you're visiting North Adams this is a lovely place to stay. Offers a lot of space, two beds, plenty of light, and all of the essential amenities including microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, WiFi, etc. You can make tea and coffee in the morning and there's milk in the refrigerator for your coffee or tea. Comfortable beds, hardwood floors, and plenty of space to do yoga in the morning on the rug in the middle of the room, private entrance in the back of the house, excellent water pressure, and tasty coffee rounds out the experience. Great location, if you stay here you'll be a pleasant 12 minute walk to downtown restaurants and bars and a 17 minute walk to MASSMoCA. The hosts provided clear instructions on where to park and how to find the entrance. Two quirks that are good to know ahead of time, though they were not problems for us, if you're staying here in the winter time the heating system blower is quite noisy, and the bathroom has a curtain instead of a door. This was yet another Airbnb experience that reminds me how Airbnb hosts on the average provide an experience that's way better than the typical hotel or motel experience. I'd gladly stay here again.

What a wonderful experience! Steven's place is beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail is fantastic. Steven's place is located in a sweet neighborhood that's close to everything. Explore the Berkshires, check out the art scene, treat yourself to wonderful dining - everything is nearby! Steven is the perfect host - excellent communicator, always available, truly cares about your stay, and he is a wealth of knowledge! Stay here! One of my best experiences EVER!

This 3 bedroom home is a perfect stay for a trip to North Adams. It is well stocked with linens and towels, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could need for cooking. The living room is comfortable and cozy. The trip into town is easy. I can't wait to go back!

We had a great time staying overnight at the Garden Suite. Stephanie met us at the suite and described everything in great detail. The beds were quite comfortable, the shower nice and hot, and the location was great for an easy to walk to Mass MOCA and back. They left yummy food for night time and breakfast as well.

We had a great experience. Stephanie met us as arranged and gave us a thorough overview of the space, which was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need. In fact, she'd bought us some delicious scones which made for the perfect afternoon tea as we settled in. She'd also left us with milk, cream, eggs, coffee, fresh bread, bananas, and other basics to get us started. These made for some great easy meals after we splurged on a couple of special meals out (Try Gramercy Bistro for a pricey treat, or the Hub for a great turkey burger). The beds were comfy, and the space was cozy, private, and just the right size for two childhood friends to get away and reconnect for the weekend. We didn't meet Steven, but maybe next time...!

Stephanie and Steven's place was exactly as described. It's very cute and we felt like we had everything we need. Communication was super clear and very easy. They were very nice and accommodating. If you are headed to Mass MoCA this is the perfect place to stay. Just a short 10 minute walk down the hill to the museum and restaurants. The lovely porch had a great view of the town and was the perfect place to wake up and drink a cup a coffee. We'll be back.

It's also a convenient base for exploring other Berkshire destinations and comes with information on exploring the area. Wow, likely the most unique AirBnB experience I've ever had....but also likely one of the best! This was like staying in a curated museum but at the same time was a warm and welcoming place. This place is magic. I can't think of a better word. You are either going to be the type of person who is inspired by Michael's carefully curated collection of somewhat macabre art/taxidermy/ephemera or not, but we absolutely loved exploring this place. What maybe isn't as clear from the photos is that in spite of the art whatnots everywhere, it is completely dustfree and clean (which must be an undertaking) and the apartment is actually quite spacious. There are bright windows in every room with wide views looking out at the mountains and North Adams. The house is within walking distance of MASS MoCA and a dog run (they let us bring our dog!) and restaurants. Michael and Amanda were great hosts, totally helpful and friendly without hovering too long, and were instantly responsive to any questions we had. My point is: this place should be a destination all its own, and you should stop looking and book it now.

This was my very first airbnb experience and it going to be hard for future bookings to live up to this experience. Michael and Amanda were lovely and accommodating, their home was comfortable and clean and was the perfect spot to get excited for a visit to Mass MOCCA.

Michael's place was fantastic and very clean. Filled with art, it was an extension of our museum experience. Note that there are a lot of stairs (which lead to great views, but would be a problem for people with mobility issues).

Loved our stay here! My only regret is that it was so short! Michael was out of town when we arrived but his neighbor kindly checked us in and gave us the tour. Everything was a breeze. Highly recommend, and will certainly come back next time.

We had a wonderful 4 days at Hannah's and Felipe's home n North Adams. The bedroom was spacious, the bed comfortable and was as advertised. Hannah laid out everything that was needed, and was flexible about the time that we arrived. She and Felipe opened their home to us, and generously made us coffee and an omelet one morning. They gave us great advice about local restaurants. When we came home in the evening, I felt like I was coming home to my own house. The two dogs are adorable and what also made the house feel like a home. Hannah responded within an hour to confirm the reservation. They cared that we felt comfortable and welcomed. The house is a short walk from Mass MoCA, and a short drive to the Clark Institute. I look forward to staying at Hannah's and Filepe's home again

Apartment was gorgeous, cozy, and as described. Everything was rad! We didn't run into Diane until we were on our way out but we didn't have a reason to be in touch with her - I'm sure if we had a problem she would have been there in a moment.

Very spacious and nicely old fashiond apartment with a well equipped kitchen. It is on the 2 nd floor and can be reached by a steep staircase. So don't bring too much luggage or come with a strong companion. Diane is very decent. We enjoied our stay very much.

Jill's apartment is bright, clean, quiet and thoughtfully decorated. We felt peaceful and at home in this space. Jill greeted us at the door to give us the key, as well as recommendations for things in the area. She also left some handy items in the apartment which we did make use of - local hiking maps and a very comfy backpack. I enjoyed the unexpected book collection, and wished I could have stayed longer to do a bit more reading :) The fresh flowers were a lovely touch too.

This apartment was even lovelier and lighter (and bigger!) than we were expecting--it was a great stay and a great apartment. Jill was a fantastic host and we would come back here in a heartbeat!

Their place is perfect and the photographs are completely accurate. This was my dream apartment in some ways and I really wish I could have stayed for a week. It was decorated by someone knowledgable and hip (great pieces, great art, personal touches). And if you don't care about decor: it's also incredibly clean and quiet. Nice temperature too. They also adjusted the unusual check-in time of 4 pm to 2 pm for me. I did need lifts to get to events in Williamstown, but for all I know there was public transportation too.

The apartment was well decorated, light-filled, and spacious. Jill and Diane left coffee and milk in the refrigerator which were much appreciated in the morning. The surrounding area is gorgeous. Jill gave great recommendations for local places to eat and MassMoca was definitely worth exploring. Would recommend staying here if you're in the area!

Tom is a friendly and accommodating host who keeps a spotlessly clean place. The Flatiron Building is a bit worn around the edges, but in a funky cool way. If you are visiting MassMoCA you cannot beat the location. We would absolutely stay here again.

Tom doesn’t live there, so we didn’t get to meet him, but we messaged a bit during our stay and he was friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and tidy and overall it was a smooth, easy stay. It did get hot in the apartment the first night (up around 90 F). There was an accidental inaccuracy in the listing, now remedied, and Tom was quick to resolve it fairly. Besides the heat, it was a good basecamp for our art, nature, and culinary expeditions.

Tom's place in North Adams is the perfect place to stay if you're stopping over the little mountain town. The place is centrally located, right in the middle of everything -- you can walk to anywhere you want to go (Public, Mass MoCA, lots of galleries, the bus to the rest of the Berkshires, the beautiful public library, etc.) The house is cozy and spotlessly clean. If you're looking to live for longterm, the kitchen is a little small and a little sparse, so it's probably best for shorter stays -- but we had a great time here and thought Tom was just the nicest of hosts. Definitely recommend!

My stay at Tom and Cathy's home was wonderful. I really felt at home and they were quite helpful in case I needed anything. I would recommend this place to anyone who visits the North Adams, MA area and I hope to stay there again next summer!!!!

Everything was great at this place. Enjoyed our stay very much. Very spacious condo. Great appliances. The cheese plate in the fridge and the bottle of wine were a very welcoming gesture. The hosts also left orange juice, milk, eggs and other essential items in the fridge. My husband loved the espresso/cappuccino maker and the fact that the coffee for it was provided too. In other words, we hope that we will be back.

Tom's place was a wonderful get-away for my family and I. He said it was directly overlooking mass moca and he was not kidding, the view was amazing. Everything was clean and prepared for us and tom's family was super welcoming. We couldn't have been happier!

We had a wonderful stay at this airbnb in North Adams. It was bright, spacious, clean and beautiful, just as it appears in the photos! The location was perfect for us, since it was in walking distance to downtown, and only 3 minutes to the Steeplecats baseball field, where our son is playing ball for the summer. The outdoor sitting area, with views of the mountains was a nice surprise. I so enjoyed sitting outside in the morning with my coffee. The skies were blue, the air was cool and the views were stunning; a nice break from the Florida summer heat! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

This condo was lovely. It was more spacious than it looked and warm, welcoming and comfortable with great decor touches everywhere. The key was left in a key box, so we could arrive whenever we wanted. Tom's wife left us a plate of fruit and cheese and some wine - a great start to our 3 day stay.

The apartment is clean and conveniently located for exploring the North Adams area. Jonas was easy to communicate with and provided all of the information and equipment to make our stay comfortable.

Our experience was a bit out of the ordinary! After a day of driving roughly 9 hours through the mountains and a heavy storm, we entered North Adams to find the town.. powerless. Because it was so dark, we had a bit of trouble finding the parking lot that Jonas & George has recommended, so we parked at a meter instead, and popped some coins in the next morning ($0.25 per hour). The apartment was pretty easy to find, and was very clean. It was probably because the power had been out, but we found the people in the town to be exceptionally grumpy. When the power came back on, we waited about half an hour and watched through the window as the pizza shop on the corner got all of their chairs and tables ready. When we headed over, the woman was very aggressive and told us "they would be open when their open." We decided not to spend our money their, and went to the dollar store when the manager told us (before we could even get in the door) that they were closing in 2 minutes. The next morning was redeemed with a trip to BrewHaHa for breakfast, where the cook was super friendly and and meal was fantastic. Jonas was easy to work with, and their apartment was beautiful- in other circumstances, I'm sure the visit would have been great.

Jonas was so sweet and thought of everything (extra pillows, blankets, towels, binder full of things to do/menus, he even had fresh eggs from his chickens in the fridge). He showed us up to the apartment and gave us a tour of the apartment (which is so cute, the pictures don't do it justice) and gave food recommendations. The apartment was super cute, and the area was really cute and quiet. The area is a little bit less populated than I thought it would be, but I was within walking distance of the MoCA, and tons of restaurants.

George and Jonas were great hosts and made getting into the apartment very easy. We were only there for one night but we enjoyed our time in the apartment very much. It was clean and as described in the listing. They even had a small selection of movies to watch, which we enjoyed as an added surprise. I highly recommend staying at the Penthouse Flatiron apartment. It's funky and fresh and a great value.

We enjoyed our stay at Jonas and George's place in North Adams! It is a cute and clean apartment (as in the pictures in the ad), and it had everything we needed, including dishes, towels, and fast wireless. The location was really outstanding. We liked being able to walk everywhere in downtown North Adams and to Mass MoCA, and there's a big supermarket and pharmacy less than a block away. The parking was super easy also: there are meters on Church St. less than a block from the apartment which cost only a quarter for 2.5 hours and are free after 7pm and on Sunday. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Janet's place in North Adams. She met us at her house to welcome us. The room was great -- I didn't think the photo did it justice. The bed was super comfortable! And it was a short walk from MassMOCA, one of the main attractions of North Adams. I'd recommend the Little House in North Adams to others.

It was a good experience. It was accurately depicted in the photos. I thought the price of it was a bit high for what it was though.

Janet provided excellent communications before my trip and upon my arrival. I had used an incorrect address in my GPS, so I arrived at the wrong house on the correct street! Janet's quick replies to my texts, helped me sort that out, and I was soon at the the Little House in North Adams. I loved the decor with mixed media artworks, and the house and neighborhood were very quiet. I slept very well in the king-sized bed with very fresh air coming into the room from a window fan, after a mid-night's thunderstorm.
