Great place, great hosts, just outside the front door is a place to get coffee and pastries, a nail salon and a little grocery store. The staff and security were wonderful very helpful. They have a nice gym with a sauna and an infinity pool. I strongly recommend this unit and hosts.

Outstanding amenities and location. Carlos' wife is a wonderful person and the place turns out much better than I expected. The amenities are great, the 24/24 security is a huge thing for me and the building security has it. The bedroom is huge and with nice AC. I love everything about the place. Just a few aspects, both of which should NOT discourage you but be aware. 1) Carlos' communication can seem very curt and lacking the usual customer care touch. BUT...everything he said he has or he will do, it turns out 100% correct. May be it's just personality but coming from US or Europe or Asia where we are used to a different way of customer interaction, don't be put off. He took care of everything I need promptly and did what he promised. 2) Second is you will be asked to whatsapp or electronically send a copy of your passport before your arrival. In this age of ID theft, many customers will be sensitive to this (I was), but now that I know the refugee situation in Cucuta, I understand. 3) Third, you will be asked to sign a long inventory list of things available in the apartment, with the intention that everything must be there when you leave. It is like 2-3 pages long, and to go through it would take hours. A little strange for airbnb places. I signed it blindly (exhausted after a long travel day) on faith that I won't be screwed. Upon checkout, Carlos' wife was a delight, no checking the list, just shook hands, thanked me and smiled warmly and wished me a good trip onward. An odd procedure, but in my case, it seems harmless. In sum, the procedure may have a few quirks compared to other airbnb places but DON'T be put off. It is a wonderful place; they are a wonderful couple (with his wife smoothing out the edges a lot), and I would not hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful place! You can see the whole city from the balcony. Bottom floor room doesn’t have an ac, but upstairs room has one. It can get hot during the day, but it feels perfect during the night time. A few minutes to bars and restaurants and it feels very safe even during the night time. I stayed there on two different trips and I would love to come back again! Thank you so much!

It was just perfect! This very well equipped had almost everything you need, the house has style and was very comfortable! The only point not so good is that it took air conditioning in the room because it was very hot but there is air conditioning in the room and a small fan that I could use in the room. Carlos’ place is very clean and well lit and the location is close to bars, restaurants, shopping malls and a good walk to downtown. We didn’t get the chance to enjoy the beautiful rooftop jacuzzi, but it’s nice to know that it’s there. Just don’t forget that you need to reserve it. The apartment is spacious and has a nice balcony.

Staying at the Penthouse for the second time fullfilled all my expectations, it is as a safe and very comfortable place to stay giving the guest all he needs at a higher level. There are stores and shops 24 hours close by, security staff is very friendly and the neighbourhood is really nice just to mention as the view. Malecon, Pinar del Rio and Los Patios can be reached in a few minutes by taxi what makes all issues easy to handle. Sebastian as host is practically a super host for me always very caring and concerned about his guests. I loved the place

Apartment with 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, has 3 air conditioners, one in the living room - dining room - kitchen, one in the main room and one in one of the single rooms, one of the rooms does not have air conditioning. It has 2 LG Smart TVs, one 55 "in the living room and the other 45" in the main room. It has an Internet speed of 10MB in the day and at night it reaches a speed of 20MB. The kitchen has its basic utensils, cooker, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blender, clothes washer. The attention of the building surveillance staff is excellent, very polite people, if you need a taxi to get out they locate them with a station near the residences. There is a mini market (basic) 30 steps from the property, very convenient. We traveled with children and they felt at home. Last but not least, thank Juan for being a very attentive and aware of everything, although the communication is by whatsapp he responds at once and solves any inconvenience that arises, thank you very much we will return on our next trip to Cucuta.

Clara’s place is great. It met all of our needs for our family of four. It’s a top floor apartment with some nice views. We enjoyed the pool everyday. As well, the kitchen was pretty well-equipped if you enjoy cooking. The apartment is about a 12 minute walk from Centro Comercial Cacique where you can find groceries, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. However, taxis run by frequently. Clara is a wonderful host. She knew we had a long day of travel so she had left some things in the refrigerator for us to eat. She also was very responsive for any questions or needs we had. Thanks for everything!
