Blue Bay Mahia, Beachfront Bliss

Relax and enjoy uninterrupted seaviews from our comfortable beachfront Bach. The living, dining and two main bedrooms all have views across bay. With decks on both northern and southern sides you can enjoy outdoor dining most days. Opoutama beach is a lovely sandy beach; great for young children & only a short walk away through the reserve. Opoutama store is a handy 10min walk away. Minimum 3 night stay over long weekends. Linen can be arranged for an extra charge ($75 for complete houselot).

Queen BnB

Accomodation is located at the back of the section. There is a security camera monitoring the front driveway and road. The room is very compact cosy and private in a garden setting with a courtyard. My guests so far have told me the bed is very comfortable. There is AC unit. There is a small step onto the unit veranda to access the room. I DONT allow children or pets to stay as there is no room, as well as safety concerns, the room and sectiois not child proof. I provide milk tea and coffee

We have basic bikes available to use - perfect for a leisurely ride around the area. Our modern, architecturally designed detached studio is the perfect accommodation for couples or individuals looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Situated on a hectare block with a relaxing rural outlook our house is walking distance (1500m) to Wainui Beach and a short (5 min) drive to Gisborne city. The perfect location! Our studio mixes a luxurious but informal bach aesthetic it’s the ideal place to unwind, relax and enjoy Gisborne. BBQ and surfboard available on request.

Rural Cottage Retreat

We offer an entire self-contained unit with ample secure parking. The room is cozy and clean. You have your own private deck overlooking a rural setting. It's a 2 min drive to and from town (including a short stretch of gravel road), an hours drive to Lake Waikaremoana or 40 minutes to Mahia Beach for sun, surf and sand. Perfect spot if you're coming to town overnight for business or staying longer to enjoy the local environs, such as the mountain bike park, Morere Hot Springs.

It is located close to the " viaduct basin " of Gisborne - Restaurants, Kaiti Hill, Museum, Cycleway, Beaches and a short 10 minute walk to the river and Gisborne CBD. Our Studio is private and centrally located - a great place to explore all our region has to offer, easily. The studio is perfect for couples, solo travellers and business travellers. Our recently renovated home is easily located in a quiet side street off the main highway through Wairoa. The house is on a large section with room to play, close to the local restaurants and within walking distance of the main street, and local shops. An easy drive to the beautiful Mahia beach or Lake Waikaremoana. Whether you are on a family holiday or a business trip, your stay will be relaxing and comfortable with all the trimmings of a home away from home.

Sanctuary Lodge - Cabin 1

Get away from it all and re-energise yourselves. Mahia offers safe swimming, fishing and walks. The cabin is located in private bush setting, overlooking Mahia Peninsula and two bays. Cabin 1 can sleep a couple in a queen bed and one child under 7. It has recently been renovated, we are aiming for a comfortable, relaxing, and cosy feeling. We do offer reduced rates for more than one night's stay, please ask for prices.

The Loft provides exclusive Bed and Breakfast accommodation right on the beachfront giving majestic sea views and easy access to town and country. We are located at Makorori Beach, just a 15 minute drive from the centre of Gisborne and just 5 minutes further over the hill to popular Wainui. The self contained, private apartment is fully equipped with a full range of cooking facilities and a private bathroom.

Our 2 bedroom 1920s cottage has great rural views, is a short drive to the closest beach, family-friendly activities, Mangaone caves and 15 minutes from the beautiful Mahia Peninsula . You’ll love our place because of the cosiness, the comfy bed, the views, the 1920's charm and character and the 30 acres of pastures, woodland and stream to explore. The cottage is good for couples, and families (with kids).
