  • What a great, cozy, sparkling new and clean place!!! It's close to everything and was a pleasure to stay it. The decor is so trendy and fun, we really loved it. Once we parked our car, we could walk to everything. Lindsay has a great downtown to spend some time walking around in. We would 100% recommend it and hope to come back in the summer. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. Thank you Cory!

    Claudia2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is bright, calming, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. Cory went the extra mile/km to accommodate our late arrival. It's a block and a half from a good grocery store, and close to lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Mattress left a little to be desired in the support category - probably not an issue for most.

    Thomas2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Cory had a brand new renovated private suite! It was beautiful and quiet and relaxing!

This house offers 4 bedrooms and there is a Bunkie outside that can sleep a small family. There is WIFI available and and android box for rainy days. Kitchen is fully stocked with pot, pans and dishes.
Dunsford is a 10 minute drive to Bobcaygeon and about a 30 minute boat ride. Also, hosts the most beautiful sunsets and there is a viewing deck (seen in pictures) overlooking the water. Located on Sturgeon Lake known for great fishing and part of the Trent Severn Waterway resulting in many boating opportunities.
  • Great place to stay! On the water, great areas to hang out in. We swam right off the dock!

  • Nicole’s cottage was a great size for our group of 8 adults and 1 baby. The lake view is incredible and we spent most of the time sitting and fishing off the dock, making use of the canoe/paddle boards, and relaxing on the patio. The sunsets were amazing! When we first drove up we were a bit surprised that there were so many other houses around - this is not a remote cottage in the woods - but since we were there Monday-Thursday in September it didn’t seem busy at all and anyone we did encounter was super friendly. The living room was large with a couple of comfy couches and plenty of room for all of us to hang out in at the same time. Although the listing doesn’t say it, there was a hairdryer in one of the bedrooms - bonus! We were glad we brought a coffee maker as we couldn’t find one there, and unfortunately the dishwasher wasn’t working but luckily we’d brought dish soap and sponges. Nicole was very responsive and helpful, and the value of the cottage for a large group is hard to beat!

    Melissa2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was bigger than expected, very clean, too. A very short walk across the narrow road to the water but stunning views, especially during sunset. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed (i.e. dishes, pots/pans, cutlery, fridge, stove) and the beds were super comfy. We had no need to contact Nicole but received an email before check in with her contact information so it was reassuring that if we had any questions or concerns we could communicate. About 20 minutes from Lindsay so we were far enough from every day life to enjoy the serenity but close enough that it wasn't a trek! 10/10, we plan to go back and stay there again.

  • Nicole and her cottage are are. The cottage is lakefront and lots of space for kids to run around. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. I’ve already sent the listing to 2 other people.

  • Amazing cottage! My boyfriend and I loved it. Very spacious and the air conditioning system is amazing. It was always super cool inside. There is great fishing off the dock and wonderful neighbours too. It has absolutely everything you would need. I would definitely recommend it.

    Emma2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to go for a family vacation! From babies to grandparents, everyone enjoyed themselves. The rooms are spread out perfectly when trying to separate babies in case they cried, not to mention the bunkie. Rooms are also spacious. The fully functioning kitchen is a huge bonus!! No need to over pack. We also had a chance to meet both neighbours who were very kind and welcoming. They made you feel right at home. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Great little getaway to enjoy cottage country, go fishing, or just get out of the city. Very peaceful spot along Lake Scugog with a gorgeous view and breathtaking sunset. Bunkie sleeps 3 comfortably ( 1 Double Bed and 1 Single Pullout ) has 2 piece bathroom ( no shower )
This bunkie has running water however NO hot water at the taps, and NO shower. There is a double bed, single pull out couch, BBQ, 2 burner hotplate, fridge with freezer, water cooler with hot water, and WiFi. The lake is swimmable, however we recommend driving to the sand bar 5 mins away for a more enjoyable swimming experience. We have a rowboat and a canoe available for you to enjoy a paddle around Lake Scugog or if you'd prefer to bring your own there is a boat launch down the street, and you can tie your boat to our dock. We hope to see you this summer! No pets, and no smoking (in the Bunkie).
Our neighbours are very quiet and respectful, keeping to themselves. The back yard is private but shared with homeowners.
  • A great experience and everything you need and location right by the water!

    Phil2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous view, Magical sunset, Peaceful neighbourhood! A very cosy place to spend the weekend. We’re looking forward to coming back again!

    Bahar2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect place for a weekend get-away. The cottage is cozy for two people , but there is an extra sofa cum bed to accommodate three. It’s a small cottage but they have managed to accommodate everything you would need without making it look shabby. It has a tower fan , a heater , hot plate , a fire place , TV system with good collection of DVDs and more than enough kitchen material. There is a small barbecue outside. The lake itself is very beautiful and the deck has a couple of chairs to enjoy the sunset. There is also a canoe which you can use at your own risk. Several life jackets of different sizes are available The place is run by a couple who are very friendly. Overall a great experience !

    Rohit2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Easily the best Air BnB experience I’ve ever had. The Bunkie is exactly as described but then a bit more as the pictures don’t do it justice! It’s small but SO homey and has everything you could reasonably need (common sense that you will need to bring things like bug spray, sun tan lotion and specialty cooking condiments, etc). Larry and Judy were so kind and welcoming. They gave me lots of space but were happy to chat with me as well. I would live in that bunkie if I could! 10/10!!

    Laura2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to appreciate nature in a quiet setting ! Larry and Judy were very kind and accommodating, responding quickly to messages. We enjoyed canoeing and the pool was very nice and clean as well. The Bunkie itself is cozy and comfortable with an abundance of amenities. We would definitely recommend for a nice get away trip from the city.

    Jacey2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing spot, great value! We were in the area for a wedding and only regret that we couldn't spend more time there enjoying the lake, sunsets and A+ hospitality.

    Sara2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our second visit to this wonderful place was great. This time we stayed 2 nights and absolutely enjoyed it. Larry and Judy responded to our messages within a few minutes which was great! The fireplace is right by the water so we could enjoy beautiful sunsets and then night sky by the fire and by the water. Will definitely come back again :) thank you so much !

    Yulia2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Growing on the lakeside, very beautiful place, beautiful lake view can be seen at home or outside, private canoe provides free canoe, the landlord is very friendly, the house is fully equipped and clean, so people can definitely spend it here. a happy holiday!

  • Wonderful cottage with a beautiful lake at the end of the peaceful street.

    William2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • A little slice of heaven. We booked this for a short getaway after our wedding and wow was it exactly what we needed. So peaceful. It was spotless, had more than enough space for us and everything that we needed to cook a few homemade dinners. We’ll be back for sure.

    Ashley2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Would absolutely go back here again. So cozy in the fall time with the wood stove! We loved it and didn't want to leave. So worth it and very good price per night especially considering what you get.

    Casey2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Large cottage, very close to the water. Fits 4 comfortably. When there was a pan and cutting board needed the host was very quick to provide these. I would say that the mattresses should be replaced because they are extremely soft, but that may be a question of personal preference. Otherwise everything was great!

    Martin2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Hollyhock cottage is a great cottage experience. Lots of outdoor options for seating with a public dock and swimming within a 5 minute walk. Area is clean and quiet. Highly recommended.

    Jeff2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for a month in this very cute cottage. Absolutely perfect location to holiday in Sturgeon Point. Jeremy is a very accommodating and lovely host. Loved veing so close to lake. And we all loved the upstairs summer bedroom. Very quaint.

    Amy2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Such a bright beautiful open space so close to the water. Jeremy was very quick with communication and came over right away to deliver something we had requested. Would definitely stay here again.

    Hannah2019-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Jeremy's place. The property is situated a few minutes walk away from the lake. The adjacent cottage is far enough that you still have privacy. Ample sleeping arrangements (rooms) and a large dining area. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our meals. We loved that the fireplace was the focal point of the living room. So cozy at night! Jeremy is a great host - very communicative and accommodating. Thank you!

  • This cottage is so adorable. Quaint, clean, and well has everything you could need. We had a really fabulous time, and Donna's restaurant suggestions were excellent! Obviously, due to COVID-19, we didn't really go anywhere super public, but we got some butter tarts and brunch from Butter Tarts n' More in Lindsay, (excellent suggestion), and we went for a nice walk at Purple Woods Conservation. We had a really nice time sitting in the living room, looking out over the frozen lake with our coffees, watching the wildlife! The wood stove downstairs creates the perfect winter cozy-ness for a movie. The little touches in the place were so thoughtful (loofas, robes, chocolates, towels.. just so darn cute) and were much appreciated. Thanks again!

    Ebony2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Two friends and I needed a place to recharge away from our young families that wasn’t too far from the city. Donna’s place was exactly what we needed. Comfy beds, a wonderful bathtub, great kitchen and beautiful view. The wood stove in the tv room was also a treat. Donna has lots of special touches to make you feel welcome and pampered. Definitely recommend!

    Rachel2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Donna's place was so wonderful. Wrap-around Lakeview was perfect. Lots of personal touches that left is feeling pampered. Having a claw-foot tub is such a luxury for us. We also visited nearby conservatories for a walk outside. Great location.

    Samantha2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely stunning cottage...the special features and touches made us feel spoiled and pampered....love love love this place

    Lynn2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely quiet stay, just the two of us at Donna’s place. She was a very thoughtful and attentive host. Her house spacious, yet cozy and comfortable. We loved the wood stove, beautiful kitchen and picturesque views of the lake. Can’t wait to come again!

    Robin2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible host and home! She had great recommendations, was helpful and great to communicate with. Hope to come back in the summer!

    Molly2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Such an incredible place with so much charm! The location is lovely year round and everything in the house is very thoughtful. Donna puts so much effort in all the little details and they definitely don’t go unnoticed. We used the space to film so it wasn’t all leisurely pleasure during our stay but we enjoy every minute of it. She is super accommodating and we hope to come back soon! I can imagine it’s so beautiful in the warmer months too

    Natalie2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Donna’s place is the picture of rest and relaxation. She has thought of everything so you don’t have to. An incredible bath tub and a fully stocked kitchen are just the start. Donna provides board games, a cozy room for movies by the fire, and an encyclopedia of birds right by the window where a parade of wildlife will come to say hello. And the sheets and towels are heavenly. My family had a great time. Thank you!

  • This location provided us with an opportunity to decompress and enjoy some important quality time with one another without the distractions that seem to encompass everyday life. Yvonne and Glen ensured our stay was warm and cozy with an abundance of firewood for the woodstove. Cooking dinner on the woodstove was a delicious treat. We enjoyed having a nice outdoor fire in the snow, walking in the woods and exploring the arched bridge over the creek that runs behind the cabin. Will definitely return.

    Lisa2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • A great off the grid experience! The cabin is exactly how describe and there is lots of property around it to explore. It is very secluded which made for a peaceful stay. • What a sweet spot! The cabin is so cozy with a great view of the lake — sadly I visited during the winter and thus didn’t spend much time on the deck. Lawrence & Stacey were easy to communicate with and were helpful if I needed anything. A real treat on my road trip. Thanks so much for a great stay!

    Marley2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, great hoster

    Karla2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • A private little cabin tucked away with stunning views was the perfect setting for a quiet weekend. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. Lawrence and his wife were kind and assured that if I needed anything just to call.

    Stephanie2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cozy cabin right on the lake. Perfect little spot, very private.

This building was built in the 19th century and reflects 19th century character including some shifting. The walls are a foot thick. The apartment is a mix of modern touches with antique charm. The bedroom features antique furniture while the living room features modern furniture.
Woodville was originally know as Irish Corners in the late 19th century, the name of the town was changed to Woodville after the completion of the post office under postmaster John Morrison. In 1871 the Toronto and Nipissing Railway was built through the flourishing settlement and in 1878 Woodville became a police village. Woodville had a town hall, lock-up, grist-mill, two foundries, a cheese factory, planing mill and sash and door factory, a number of dry goods stores, mechanics' shops, and three hotels. It also had its own brick school house, with two teachers, and two churches – one Presbyterian, the other Methodist. Today, the cheese factory, rail station, gristmill, mechanics shops, and hotels have all been shut down. This property is one of the original hotels built in the nineteenth century. It was once a restaurant with the original restaurant sign still affixed to the structure. Woodville now is home to one dinner style restaurant, one variety stores, a pizza parlour, LCBO, post office, mechanics shop, a curling rink and arena, two baseball diamonds and two parks with children’s play structures. There is a lovely trail for a light hike or bike ride. The beach is a ten minute drive north to Beaverton.
  • Exactly what we were after! An affordable place to rest with our 2 young boys after a long drive! Bonus was the restraunt directly across the road for an early breakfast before we headed to the lake for some ice fishing

The apartment was very clean and had everything you could need. Tiffiny was very quick in reply messages. We will definitely return if we are in the Kawartha area.

The living room has direct access to beautiful shared backyard right on the Scugog River. Bedroom is on second floor. Kitchen, living, dining, bath rooms are shared. The "double" bed is a 3/4size bed (i.e. bigger than a single and smaller than a double---nice and cozy). There is a ceiling fan and a table fan in the bedroom. There is no air conditioning A/C.
See Airbnb listing "Quaint getaway, in town, on Scugog River"...the big bedroom is in the same house as the apartment listed.
Very quiet neighbourhood, 10-15 min walk from Lindsay center where you can find quaint shops and restaurants.
  • The best airbnb host i could have ever discovered. am an Indian and she helped me understand Canada so well. Her rooms have a rustic touch and you can great lake and tree views from your room. Above all, please meet barb once in your life. Respect and good luck😄

  • Barb is an outstanding caring host who is quick to respond to request.

  • Pretty beautiful location, just in front of the river. So nice of the host. Really clean and quiet house.

  • Barb spends her winters in Paris not far from the River Seine, but come spring she is inexorably drawn back to her roots in Lindsay and her modest yet "tres charmant" retreat beside the River Scugog. Kick back on her patio with a glass of vino (or two), and watch the boats go by!

    David2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great value

    Horacio2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Simple and clean, close enough to Lindsay downtown to walk while still in a nice quiet neighbourhood. It's not a 5 star hotel (obviously), but if you just need a place to stay while traveling, it's a good place to be. Barb is an excellent host, helped me find places in town, gave me tips on where to eat, and even brought me to the local farmer's market!

    Lawrence2018-08-18T00:00:00Z

Your private space is the upper level of an authenic log cabin overlooking the Otonabee River in Fenelon Falls. This cozy cabin is located on the water between Cameron and Sturgeon Lake, a short 10 minute walk to all the amenities of Fenelon Falls. Relax and watch the boat traffic of the Trent Severn Water System from any of the three decks or bring your own watercraft and dock at our 24 ft. cement dock. The river is a perfect spot for swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boats.
The firepit is available for you to use, just bring firewood which is available in the area. Also available to book during the fall colors and to accomodate ATV, snowmobiling and ice fishing enthusiasts. We are located close to the Victoria Rail Trail and all it has to offer.
  • Wow! Beautiful cabin on a beautiful property with a beautiful view of the beautiful river in a beautiful town! Carol has put a lot of work into the place to make it cozy & comfortable. The added amenities were wonderful surprises. Watching the sunrise on the river was a real treat.

    Kevin2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Carols place is a dream come true! It was like staying in a place you’d only find on Pinterest. We loved the natural wood and the cozy details. It was lovely to be on the water and be surrounded by nature, yet just a couple streets away from downtown Fenelon falls. The binder featuring local attractions and restaurant menus was a huge help! The loft was sparkling clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We would definitely return on our next trip!

  • Carol + Dave were welcoming and made check-in and check-out super easy. The place was a great little winter escape and the view of the water from the bedroom was my favorite part. Thanks again! Can't wait to come back in the summer.

  • Carol was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed! The space is right on the river. It is a really cozy cabin that has been newly renovated. It was a perfect place for my partner and I to have a cozy winter escape. There was a faux-fire heater!

Beautiful View Lake cottage for rent all year round... Due to local by-laws, minimum length of stay is now 30 days. Cottage country paradise - only an hour outside of Toronto! Breathtaking sunsets over the lake, endless peace & tranquility, and country fresh air... the perfect getaway from all the hustle & bustle of life in the city. Fully furnished and ready for you to enjoy. Includes unlimited WiFi internet. Close to Port Perry, Great Blue Heron Casino, and Wolf Run golf course.
Lake Scugog's best kept secret - View Lake is situated in the sandiest part of lake Scugog, and faces west; directly at the sunset over one of the widest parts of the whole lake. Close to the city, but just far enough away to kick back and relax.
Wolf run golf course (just 2 minutes away) is not only a spectacular golf course, but serves an amazing breakfast at an even better price. Why bother dirtying any dishes?! Homemade pizza/wings/sandwiches can also be ordered from Royal Garden Food Mart at the end of the street.
  • This is a very quiet place to stay at, waking up to geese and ducks was wonderful. Rob is an out standing host that was very quick to respond and very helpful. A very good place to relax.

    Graham2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Hospitable host. Walkthrough with u . Showing the house. Was great host.

    Josh2019-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for a getaway from city life! We enjoyed watching movies, playing board games, and walking on the lake with beautiful views (and the hockey rinks that sprung up :). We also enjoyed both the fish & chips and pizza places which are in the neighbourhood. There is a great wood burning fireplace and Rob provided enough wood for our entire trip, which was awesome. I believe it's mentioned already by the host, but the water is not able to be used for drinking or cooking, and has a strong odor of iron when used for washing. Very common for the area and Rob provides 2 large water jugs which I'm sure is enough for anyone staying short term. The electrical system is pretty rustic, for example you should not expect to be able to make toast and coffee at the same time without blowing a fuse. But the fuse box is in the kitchen and easy enough to work around. We really didn't have any reason to contact Rob during our entire trip as he provides very detailed information about everything but booking and communication was very easy.

    Jade2017-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • This weekend we had a birthday weekend away with my best friend and her husband. We stayed at Robs place and it was wonderful. The place was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Rob was available if we needed him. We had no problems with the house and his instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thank you Rob!

    Jennifer2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Rob is such a great and hospitable host! We were able to spend sweet and relaxing time there because the place has really cozy and lovely ambience. Right near the house, there is a small market that you can get something you need. It was convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

    Ryo2016-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was ready when I arrived and Rob was a great host. I will be coming back for sure. Ps. Pigeon lake conservation area was a short drive with awesome trails.

  • Ernie&Kim has such a nice loft by the lake, the loft is super clean, very pretty and has everything you need. There are many clean towels and kitchen utensils for the guests to use, you can find absolutely everything you would need if you’re gonna cook there. The loft is also quite close to the city, we were able to get groceries in town quite easily. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool and the kayak rides, it was a fun weekend being away from the city. Ernie&Kim were very easy to reach, we really enjoyed our stay in the loft.

    Panqi2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful hosts, great location and fantastic amenities! We had a really nice couple days here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The loft above the garage has everything you need incl. a BBQ right outside. Though the lakeside access isn't swim-friendly it comes with canoes and kayaks which really make it fun. Plus a firepit by the water and the sunset view makes it extra special. Thanks Ernie and Kim for going the extra mile!

    Yohan2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! What a perfect cozy spot right by the lake. Far enough away to feel like a vacation but close enough if you need to run into town to grab something you forgot (allergy medicine lol!) it’s just a skip away. It was so peaceful and serene to sit down by the lake and what a show we got the first night with the lightning over the lake. Extremely beautiful views from the balcony as well. We didn’t use the fire pit due to the wind but we had a great time out with the kayaks on the lake. Bring a nice book and enjoy the sunsets at night too! We will absolutely come back next year!

    Chantel2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Ernie and Kim have an AMAZING place - it's comfortable, cozy, full of wonderful amenities (Smart TV, games, a barbecue, stove, etc), and the loft is located on a picturesque lake and minutes from a small nearby town. Wonderful getaway spot, wonderful vacation spot, and we'd love to come back soon!

    Roland2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely LOVED our weekend get away at the Loft (Sturgeon Lake) - beautiful view of the lake, quiet and peaceful. The loft itself was so cute and cozy. Everything you need was there - some lovely little touches, like butter in the fridge for us (forgot to bring that), flash light in the bathroom, along with first aid kit, after sun and some super fluffy towels! The walk in shower was amazing the largest walk in shower we've seen! Everything was super clean and fresh. We can't wait for our next visit. Took lots of long walks around the neighbourhood - everyone was friendly & welcoming. A short drive from Toronto, but felt like we were far far away. In closing, we've never seen such beautiful sunsets as we did while we were there over the course of the weekend. Captured everything on camera - great memories, awesome view - hope to be back soon. In the meantime, if you're looking for a piece of heaven ... then The Loft on Sturgeon Lake is definitely for you!

    Hayley2019-08-25T00:00:00Z

Adventure seekers look no further we have you covered with lots of options for activity- see our guide book. Prefer a quiet getaway? We have that too, with fire place, Netflix, board games and more. Cottaging doesn't get any better than this! Amazing place to create lasting family memories. Located on stunning Cameron Lake in Fenelon Falls
Sunset Bay Cottage shows as a 10/10. With all the comforts of home (wifi, satelite tv, fully stocked kitchen and more) this four- bedroom, two-bathroom cottage is perfect for small and large families. Spectacular lake views await from the open concept living room. The dining room seats 8 with 3 more seats at the bar in the kitchen area.
You won't find many chain restaurants here. Instead, you will find great taste, award-winning meals, and amazing friendly service. We can recommend a variety of locally owned restaurants and cafes or have pizza and more delivered to you at lake while enjoying the sun and your favorite beverage. Fenelon Falls isn't known for being the jewel of the Kawarthas for nothing. Our water frontage is amazing! Being on Cameron Lake you can boat to town in minutes. Fishing is amazing. And swimming is equally enjoyable. Use one of our complementary boats, bring your own or rent one at the local marina.
  • We stayed at Stacey and Ryan’s cottage for a full week. It was even better than we expected. There is absolutely not one thing we can suggest to make our stay any better than it was. If we ever need to rent a cottage again-we will definitely be renting this one. Stacey is the most amazing host and communication was exceptional. We will be raving about our stay and the memories we made for a very long time. Thank you from our hearts. ❤️❤️

    Tina2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay at Stacey’s place. My brother and I rented the cottage for our dad and his girlfriend as a Christmas gift and they loved it. Our girlfriends were there as well and a big dog but even with the 6 people and dog there was plenty of space left, we didn’t even use one of the bedrooms. The cottage was very clean when we arrived and the complimentary firewood was a great touch. Would stay here again. 10/10

  • Absolutely beautiful! The cottage was clean and well equipped. The location is spectacular and the view was incredible.

  • The perfect family getaway - My family stayed at Staceys cottage for 2 nights, we have a 4yr old and a 10 month old and this cottage is perfectly suited to young families. Obviously the star of the show is the private sandy beach which the kids (and parents) absolutely loved! The inside of the cottage is very kid friendly, with almost no sharp corners from furniture which is perfect for a newly mobile 10 month old baby. There is also lots of board games and kids toys provided for rainy days. We can't wait to go back!

    Barry2019-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Where to begin...This was such a terrific getaway! We headed up from GTA for 4 days. 6 adults, 4 kids, and 3 dogs so we had quite a group, from seniors all the way to a 3MO old. This cottage was perfect in every way. The outside is much larger than the photos, great shore line for the kids to play and build sand castles etc (lots of toys are there). It has a floating dock to enjoy the beautiful sunset and a fire pit right next to the sand where you hear the lake waves while you have a crackling fire (free firewood was a huge bonus, thanks Stacey)... This washed away all our stress and felt so relaxing. The hammock during the day was the kids favorite and it has partial shade as there are trees on both sides of the cottage. There is a walk out deck with 8ppl patio set and a BBQ with extra Muskoka chairs, this was a really nice space since it's easy to move back and forth between the kitchen & bbq, and watch the kids playing outside at the same time. For activities, the paddle boat, canoe, and bike were all in good shape and we ventured out for some nice site seeing and burnt some of the extra calories that we'd added from the BBQ :) The hiking trail is just up the road too. For the inside, we felt it was a comfortable space without getting in each other's way. There was two full washrooms - which are both clean, and toiletries where provided. Beds were clean and very comfortable (no creaking etc). The kitchen had ample dishes and cutlery, pot and pans and appliances were in great shape. There is a toaster, blender, Keurig & standard drip coffee machine, and a microwave. Fridge had water and ice! Overall really well decorated place and Stacey was very prompt at answering. We're sure to return and spread the word! Do not hesitate to book this one, there is a reason she gets 5 stars and the place is fairly booked up for the entire summer!!!

  • My 3 friends and I stayed here for a little girl's getaway. We found the home super cozy and clean. We loved the number of bedrooms and the comfy couches in the living room. We were a short drive away from Lindsay and loved the shops and the Farmer's Market. The host was quick to respond to any of our questions and she was very helpful and informative. Easy check in and check out for us. Lovely home-had everything we needed.

    Sumeet2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Trina’s house is a great pleasure! There is Lots of space: 5 separate bedrooms, a big backyard with a fire pit, where our family made S’mores, and a patio where you can eat breakfast while listening to the birds sing. It is a very quiet and beautiful place. Our family came here to see the lakes, and relax in nature and we found a great spot- Valentia Sand Bar Park, just 15 minutes from this house. The house is very cozy and neat. Trina is an excellent housekeeper, who pays attention to many small details to ensure the guests have a nice stay!

  • Marion's place is amazing. Its fancy decoration and all the amenities deserve its Home away from home name. It's facing the canal connected to the Sturgeon lake, and we docked our boat there. The backyard is also huge so our dog can run free and happily there. The room has a beautiful view of the backyard and canal, and its own bathroom and balcony. They even prepared snacks and drinks for us. This place is highly recommended.

You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. Tastefully decorated 3 bedrooms lakefront house on a 2 acre property. Equipped with swim spa, hot tub, bbq, volleyball set, trampoline, fire pit, pool table, wifi and Netflix. Note: Swim spa and hot tub closed for the winter months.
The property is big enough for your games or just having a bbq. Swim spa available. Lake scugog is not a swimmable lake.
Quiet, tranquil on a dead end road, surrounded with mature trees.

Greatly enjoyed our time at this cottage and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a countryside getaway.

  • Wonderful place! We had a great time. Kids enjoyed the trampoline and spa pool. The place was very clean and included everything we needed. I also liked that this was a bungalow, it allowed us to all be together, but it had enough division to give everyone some space and privacy. Pool table and karaoke machine were a bonus. Would highly recommend this place to anyone! Look forward to booking again.

My place is right on Cameron lake. You’ll love my place because of the cottage life. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. It is in a great area with lots to do and see. You can find more information at https://www.explorefenelonfalls.com Please note that when they ask you for no. of guests a couple should enter 1. Person staying and their no. of guests, I guess.
It is very peaceful here. We are also just steps away from the Victoria Rail Trail Corridor (VRTC) The Victoria Rail Trail is an 85 kilometer rail trail with corridors linking Kinmount to Bethany, through Lindsay. This public trail is open year round for recreational uses including walking, hiking, cycling, fishing, horseback riding, dog sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and, subject to possession of a valid trail permit, snowmobiling and ATV-ing. North Corridor The North Corridor follows the former CN rail line north, from Fenelon Falls to Kinmount. Stop for a picnic lunch at Island Park or view the falls at Trent-Severn Waterway Lock 34. The trail follows Cameron Lake and then the Burnt River, leading into Somerville Tract, which is heavily forested and perfect for hiking, bird watching and wildlife viewing. After leaving the Forest, head north past the Crego Creek Bridge and into Kinmount, the Historic Austin Sawmill and the old railway station are part of a community park. Our lake is right on the The Trent–Severn Waterway which is a 386 kilometres (240 mi)-long canal route connecting Lake Ontario at Trenton to Lake Huron at Port Severn. Its major natural waterways include the Trent River, Otonabee River, the Kawartha lakes, Lake Simcoe, Lake Couchiching and the Severn River. Its scenic, meandering route has been called "one of the finest interconnected systems of navigation in the world"
  • Hidden gem in the region with amazing sunset view and fireplace outside. It is so quiet and peaceful.

  • One word: serene. Looking west across the lake the sunsets are breathtaking. I was surprised by all there is to do in the area, but you just absolutely, positively have to visit Randy at Grrrr8 Finds Market and pick up a bag of penny candy!
