An inn with a 120-year-old hearth built by a resident-style farmhouse It is a quiet house in a small village.Please be quiet at night. You can stay until the name (including children). No meals without meals (ingredients can be brought in) Guests with more than 4 people can stay at an additional cost. Additional charge from 5,000yen per person During the heating period (around November), 2,000 yen is charged as heating fee. When using the hearth, we charge 2000 yen (with 2Kg of charcoal) as the hearth usage fee. Please note: BBQ, yakiniku, fish with oil, etc. are not allowed in the️ hearth. (Barbecue, etc. outdoors, please) For those who wish to eat starting at JPY 3500 Outdoor BBQ ingredients from JPY 4000 Morning set 550 yen (bread, coffee, etc.) Meals must be booked in advance. Please pay for the meal on site.(Accommodation fee will be charged separately) There are also hot spring facilities in the direction of Kyoto and Fukuchiyama, so please use them.(10-20 minutes by car) Please note that️ BBQ and outdoor activities are until 21:00 at night, so please be sure to observe it.

I would like to introduce to you a house belonged to my aunt “Omine”(pronounced oh-me-nay), which has just been beautifully renovated. My auntie was a noted “Shamisen” guitar player and she appeared in many movies and TV dramas. Now her home and its rooms, where she practiced her “Shamisen”, have been converted for a comfortable stay.

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
