"Kaiwa no Sato" Our house is an indigo house built in the first year of culture (1804) during the ornate era of "indigo". The main house and bed (the barn that sleeps the indigo) have been demolished, but they have preserved the historic guest room and garden to be used as a farmhouse homestay. Once upon a time, "indigo" grew up in the fertile land of the lower Yoshino River in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing a lot of wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa clan). A small old house and a large Japanese garden are limited to one group per day, and you can rent them out. Please spend your days living in this place close to the Seto Inland Sea. We have 2 electric bicycles and 5 bicycles. It is rented free of charge to those staying. It is also possible to load bicycles as they are on the ferry to Naoshima and Teshima.
