The guesthouse is a design masterpiece where every little detail is well-considered and well-thought to make the place nice and comfortable to stay in. Both Daniela and Alessandro are adorable and friendly, speak English fluently and ready to help you with all the inquiries and can provide you with all the tips regarding the neighboring cities. The location is 5 min by car from the wonderful and beautiful Finale Liguria. Ideal place for tourists who travel by car or for cyclists. The guest house common areas were always very clean. The hosts serve breakfast on request. I do recommend that awesome place and send my best regards and big thanks to Daniela and Alessandro!:)

We stayed 2 nights at Dani & Alessando's place and everything was great. The space has a nice vibe and the location is quiet and relaxed and we had a parking space for our car. There is a kitchen area for cooking, a small fridge, and a breakfast area. Oh, and there's a guitar to play as well! If I'm ever back in the area I would definitely stay here again :)

Perfetto! We spent one night at Daniela and Ale's place and can absolutely recommend these two welcoming hosts. It was very clean, very cozy, stylish and one could feel that they really enjoy hosting people. It was the perfect location to finish our holiday and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely homemade breakfast with homemade cappuccino, cake and toast. For dinner, they recommended us the restaurant Ratatouille in Finale Ligure, a cute medieval town nearby. Daniela and Alessandro are very friendly. Unfortunately we just spent one night in their house but it was a pleasure to meet them ! If we have the occasion we will come back. We had two awesome days at Danielas House! She and her boyfriend welcomed us warmly and everything was really clean and lovely :) To get to the beach, it only takes 10 to 15 min by car and there is a wonderful beach right in Finale Ligure. Daniela gave us tips where to go and always had an answer to our questions!! We recommend this place and would love to come back again for more days than two :))

Daniela was really helpful, coming to find us when we couldn't figure out exactly where the guest was, suggesting some great places to eat (the pasta place she suggested was amazing), showing us where everything was on the map and even lending us her sun umbrella! We only had breakfast on one day but the Apple cake was very yummy. The guesthouse is lovely with a good sized communal area, plenty of space to sit and socialise. The room was bigger than I expected and the view was great. The historic town of Finalborgo and as many beaches as you could possible want are all close by, 15 to 20 minute drive or longer is you want further away beaches. Just make sure you discuss where it is before you get there as it isn't quite where the dot on the map says. All in all a lovely bed and breakfast to stay in!

It was a perfect stay. Lino and Lidia are the most welcoming hosts we ever experienced. They always were there for us. The house is standing on a hill in a quiet area. We had very romantic nights, just looking to the sky, searching through stars and drinking a glass of wine presented by hosts. It was one of those stays, where you just get what you were expecting, and even more. Lino, Lidia, thank you for the lovely stay and say hello to you adorable dog.

We stayed at Lino e Lidia's lovely B&B in the mountains and close to all the great beaches in Liguria. They were very kind, welcoming hosts and provided an excellent breakfast. The rooms were very neat and comfortable. There was also a great balcony where you could eat outside. We would highly recommend this B & B.

Lino and Lidia were fabulous! Very friendly and accomodating. The place is also great as it's on a hilltop overlooking the valley and mountains and the view is fantastic (which you can admire from the terrace). The room was very clean and cozy and the typical italian breakfast prepared by Lino was delicious. Highly recommended!

The hosting family is superb, polite and generous! The flat is spacious and clean and well located close to the Liguria sea as well as to the forests! The medieval town of Finalborgi is quite close and must to see and to have a nice Italian dinner or a relaxing Aperol! We do reccomend the accommodation of Lino and Lidia for either a family or friends! We are looking forward to see the family again and to enjoy our stay at their premises, soon!

We spent one week at Francesca's place. We experienced a warm welcome by Francesca and she kindly took quite some time to show us around. She always answered immediately, both prior to as well as during our stay. The apartment is situated on a hill above Finale and you will need a car to get around. It was just what we had looked for. You will find everything you need in the apartment. All in all, we can only recommend to stay at Francesca`s apartment.

We stayed with our kids aged 3 and 5 years by Sandro during the bridge of All Saints and had a great time! Sandro yes is made super available immediately after making the reservation to give us additional information concerning accommodation. It is an old typical house with vaulted ceilings restored with great taste combining tradition with modern comfort. The beds are comfortable and the outer space is on the same level of the apartment, then super exploitable. For lovers of nature, tranquility and sports: from the house you can be reached by walking trails for hiking, downhill and some cliffs to climb. The sea is not far away but easily reached by car (20 minutes house Varigotti Beach). A true oasis of tranquility. They were delighted with homemade biscuits and cakes in the house (ghosts, pumpkins and skulls for Halloween highly appreciated by children!) Experience to be repeated!

Maura was quick and clear in the answers to my doubts before departure. Dealing with her was simple and pleasant. We found the apartment all that could serve for a quiet weekend. The apartment is small but nice, the country also. Far from the tourist hustle and bustle but less than 15 minutes drive from the beaches.

We had a very nice stay with Maura in Calice Ligure. The apartment is small but nice and even on hot summer days cool. From the terrace you have a beautiful view. An equipment was all important present. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Maura is a very dear and competent hostess and always explored about the well-being of your guests. The apartment is on the edge of Calice Ligure in a rural environment (car needed). Every now and then you get a visit from neighboring cats and dogs, but they are all very fond of. :) We can only recommend a stay with Maura! We had a great stay at Maura's place. The apartment corresponds to the description; little but beautiful. There is thus a terrace with nice view. Maura is a nice host! Check-in and check-out was very simple. It is recommended!

The apartment met all as described and everything is shown in the pictures. Everything you need for breakfast is available. In band is towels and even a hair dryer. Nothing was missing. We liked it very well.

We had a very pleasant stay and extended our original 2 days by another 3 days. The flat is very well equipped, clean and offers a nice terrace. It lies in a nice area up in the hills about 1 km from center town.

A few km far from the sea, everything is comfortable. Recommended

Simple accommodation and romantic surrounded by nature

Elisa and Fabio are really nice hosts so I would recommend to anyone who likes a bit remote and isolated place. The house is surrounded by macia and some trees. We enjoyed bbq and Fabio's sourdough bread. Road is a bit tricky, so you got to be a bit carefull and you've got to be a cat lover.

We had a great time with our little dog :) Elisa is her husband offered us a very warm welcome! The area is beautiful! Although the road is a little hard to get it is a real pleasure to be in the middle of nature!

Quiet and relaxing, perfect! The road is actually hard to get at first but nothing insurmountable even for C max and got used to it very quickly. Cats came every day (morning and evening) make their rounds to get their cuddle, very affectionate, for lovers of these animals is great! We will return for sure =) Thank you again.

What about ... extremely humble, courteous and hospitable, we felt totally at ease, nice to talk together ... hospitality and maximum comfort, the cottage description perhaps not sufficiently describes in all its beauty ... because that place live it makes it even better the concept of relaxation, nature and privacy, surrounded by nature, quiet, secluded in the middle of nature .. . just wonderful .. these gentlemen we are loved to the point of wanting to go and say hello when passing over there .. all very nice! (Do an exceptional bread)

Unfortunately we stayed only one night, but the place is truly remarkable: a corner of the world away from the chaos. A must go!

Since Elisa had a really great, it's a simple person who has built his world according to his size and his pleasure. This place was absolutely beautiful. We had spent time in Nice and Monaco and were looking for a nice quiet get away. Barbara's quiet mountain villa was perfect. Stunning view of the Liguria area. Very secluded. Maybe a 10 minute drive off of the main road. It could be somewhat confusing to find without a gps but Barbara was prompt with directions and we had no issues. Highly recommend if you are looking to get a taste of the true Italian countryside.

It located in a quiet and isolated place. Plenty of room and clean. Recommended.

Due to heavy snow falls in Switzerland we weren't able to keep our time of arrival. However, thanx to Flavio, our check in even after midnight was no problem at all. The apartment is basic but very tidy, nice and comfortable. You'll find everything you'd probably need: towels, flat iron, some more pillows, a kettle, tea, fresh fruit, … A big plus is the location. Just 2 min away from the highway, 10 min to Final Borgo and the very famous climbing area of Monte Cucco is right around the corner. If you want to have a quiet place that is nicely situated for climbing, biking and exploring the nearby area of Finale, we can very much recommend Claudio's and Flavio's apt!

It was a super great place to stay and we immediately felt comfortable. It was not a holiday apartment in the sense that it was an apartment with friends. We have a lot of nice people know who have become friends. Who wants to visit Liguria, should stay at Mirella. We'll be back.

We were very well received by Mirella who living in the floor above, was held available throughout our stay. She able to recommend good places to surrounding restaurants. Housing is so well equipped that it feels like the home. The environment is particularly quiet in nature and 10 minutes drive from the sea. A little piece of paradise that we recommend to lovers of nature.

We chose Italy as our family (myself, husband and 4 year old) holiday this year and we could not have been happier with not only the location but the host too. Mirella was extremely welcoming and settled us in straight away. The apartment is beautifully clean and has everything that you need for your stay. The location is tucked up in the hills with a quick 10 minute drive to the nearest beach and the local village contains everything you need (shop, restaurant and ice-cream bar). I would highly recommend a stay and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Juanita has a huge kind heart an all the house is filled with love and coziness. It was like coming to your own family in Italy. The house was really clean, beds comfortable and view from the balcony was awesome, just as breakfasts (my heart was melted with fresh croissants and Nutella, there can never be too much Nutella). The house itself is situated at the highland so you should get a decent car, but this is fully compensated with the place and host. Grazie Juanita e tutta la tua famiglia, abbracci, ciao ciao!

Silvia's place was amazing, we felt at home right away. Everything was as described, the check-in was easy (silvia picked us up in the town) and the appartment itself is perfect. It has its own flair, so you will feel comfortable and cozy during your stay. The kitchen is great and fully equipped. The terrace is nice and you have a great view. Silvia even prepared us some fruit and a cake so we had a nice welcoming gift when we arrived. The whole place is decorated with love to detail. Climbing spots (for example Perti) are just around the corner, you can reach Finale in 10 Minutes by car or in 20 minutes by bike. Supermarket, pharmacy etc. are close. Alltogether a very recommendable appartment, we will retourn for sure!

Silvia is a great hostess: the apartment is very cozy and clean, very quiet, 5 minutes by car from the sea, from the best trails for hiking and mountain biking. Quiet, intimate and comfortable. Silvia has also made finding a good homemade pie. Recommended!

The welcome was fantastic, Silvia is a very helpful person gave us precise directions to the house, he immediately showed us where to park and where to find a supermarket, restaurant and bar (Chalice is a country little one, everything is at your fingertips hand!). The house is very beautiful and recently renovated, super equipped with everything you need. Upon our arrival there was a wonderful chocolate cake waiting for us .... It seemed to be at home!

The best Airbnb we have ever stayed! The apartment is beautiful and spacious, very well thought out with meticulous attention to detail, and immaculately cleaned. Silvia was a friendly and helpful host, and the entire town of Calice Ligure was warm and welcoming. We would love to return. And yes, the chocolate cake lives up to its reputation -- even my Austrian husband approves!

Were enthusiastically received by Silvia. Self guided to a parking space. Nice apartment with all mod cons. The only thing we missed was a couch or easy chair. You can a delicious focaccia pizza in its restaurant Barabba. Have a nice time had a real winner.

Mr. Massimo has been very kind to welcome us, the house although not new was very welcoming and clean a steep little climb up the ladder x apartment. very characteristic of the entrance hall from the street with brick arches and rock .the tranportation x take Highway and great starting point x bikers or hikers with a great pizza restaurant 50 meters needed the car to go to the beach or even Finalborgo if fast and extremely quiet with beautiful views at night.

Massimo and his family were very kind and friendly. The apartment is located in a strategic position for a nice mix holiday between sea and mountains. It is located about 3 Km from Finalborgo a place among the richest of Savona in historical buildings, entered in 2004 to join the Club of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy. Just near Finalborgo we also found parking to reach the sea in Finale Ligure in about 15 minutes. The area is full of well-marked trails with no great slopes that can be traveled on foot, running or mountain biking.

First of all I want to say that Cascina Strà is a place I can really recommend, but maybe it is not fitting for everyone. You get a beautiful view and it is absolutly calm and away from everything. You shouldn't have a problem to drive a narrow and rough forest road to get there, and don't expect the comfort of a 5*hotel. If you are used to backpacking, camping or hicking you will feel very fine! The atmosphere of the place is stunning. We as a couple had the only room with one double-bed, and this one is the room just next to the kitchen. As everyone is sharing the kitchen, from this room you will hear everything. So if the other people start their breakfast at 7:30, you will be awake, and if others are having their dinner talking until 23:00, you will be hearing everything as if you would be trying to sleep under the kitchen-table. The solution is to arrange yourself with the other guests, to talk to them when you want to use the kitchen and to tell them if you feel disturbed. When we where there, we shared the place with two couples with 2 very small children and a pretty loud dog, and there was an other group as well. So it was not that quiet, BUT: all the people where really nice and we understood that children are always noisy. We had Grappa together on the terrace, had a little talk, where watching the stars and it was very pleasant. If you can`t socialize with people, look for another place, or maybe you are lucky and you are the only guests. For everyone else who is a little bit open-minded, this place is just perfect! You are really away from everything - out of nowhere - and it takes just a short drive (~25min) to the beach. We always went to Finale Ligure. Clearest water I have ever seen. As my girlfriend was pregnant, we where not into hiking, but that would be a perfect thing to do from there. So from my point of view: big recommondation - a hidden gem!

I would like to congratulate Clare and Nadia for the wonderful house in which we stayed last weekend, presented for the availability and for clarity in communicating the rules of the house. Yes, the rules, because the rules also live in their own home, because the respect for those who put time, passion and commitment is due in my opinion, for other rules of common sense also seen the almost sacred place in which you have the privilege of staying. As for the road to the house it is unpaved but totally doable if you pay a moment's attention. Surely the "difficulty" is repaid by the magic of the place, from the attention to detail, and you are very tired from a shower (hot!) Outdoors. See you! Ours is definitely a goodbye. Maria Grazia

Characteristic house. Great views and peace. Owners and caretaker welcoming and helpful. Not easy to get to, but that's what makes it characteristic. Only suggestion to the owners is that it would be useful would provide everything needed for breakfast, being the home away from bars and residential areas. However we were good. Particularly suitable for groups of 2 - 3 pairs, even with children.

Hidden gem in the Ligurian woods. We were lucky to be all by ourselves in the house and on the property, except for the caretaker Pietro who popped in every morning. At dusk and dawn we heard wild deer grunting at each other and even crossed them a couple of times. The house has a million dollar view over the Finale bay. If you're looking for the simple life and want ti experience a silence that is difficult to find these days, than cascina strà is the place to be. We headed to the beach every day to keep our daughter entertained (too small to bike or trek), it takes you about 30 minutes to get down from the hill (of which 15 minutes of dirt road) to the Finale beach area, but keep driving east to discover Noli and Varigotti. These villages are absolutely worth the extra km...

Very nice place with a fantastic view. Too bad for the cloudy sky otherwise he could see a sky full of stars since the house has no exterior lights. Mr. Peter, who welcomed us, was very precise and very helpful despite I had announced that we would arrive an hour late.
