Terva-Karko torppa in Suvanto Museum Village

This is not often the kind of place to stay on Airbnb. A more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time journey to a 19th-century Ostrobothnian village. The destination is best suited for lovers of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who are not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

Kelorivitalo cottage on Pyhä, good and peaceful location at the end of the road. From the window you can see a small forest, trails and slopes. Hiking trails and services are nearby. The cabin has original charm, with a new beautiful decor. Great kitchen. Sleeps downstairs or on the balcony. The ladder in the loft is steep. The cabin has wifi, a 43’ TV, and a bluetooth connection. The bathroom furniture has been refurbished. The cabin has a good sauna, a washer, and a dryer cabinet. Linens and final cleaning are included.

The rush to get to the bridge that cross Kitinen goes wrong as the village landscape opens up in the front left. Fields with hairdressing haystacks make for a sense of time to stop. Our igloos are 32m² in size and can accommodate two to four persons. The motorized double bed is directly under the glass ceiling. Separate extra beds are made from the sofa.
