Places to stay in Phoenix
Our midcentury modern building, The Hive is a working artspace in the Coronado historic 'hood near downtown Phoenix. Part art gallery, artist studio, zine distro, jewelry workshop, resale boutiques, coffee bar and '65 trailer, we offer an unconventional urban glamping experience.
It's a travel trailer from the 60s in awesome shape. Not glamorous, but cozy. Outdoor sink and private shower just outside the door, the toilets are a 50 foot walk in The Hive building. There is a plush futon custom made for the space. It is larger than a full and a bit smaller than a queen.. The kitchenette is not functional, but if you want to prepare food, we can get you a hotplate and toaster oven. We have a refrigerator and microwave that you can use as well. From time to time, guests experience difficulty with the wifi. It seems to depend on the device you are using. If you cannot get good reception inside the trailer, there is a gallery/lounge area inside The Hive you can use that seems to have great WiFi reception for everyone's needs. There is free parking on the street with no restrictions. The vibe at The Hive is great, with the artists' studios, art gallery, coffee shop, zine disto, resale boutiques and so many energetic and creative people around... We keep the guest space and bathrooms clean. As was mentioned earlier, The Hive is a working art space, so materials and projects are ongoing....but the trailer has its own enclosed space, and once you're inside, you're cocooned away from the rest of the world...There is a rope to draw across the entrance to your space, if you would like to use it to ensure people do not enter your yard area.
The Greater Coronado Neighborhood is as fun and funky as it gets, close to downtown Phoenix. We have weekly family nights at one of the local eateries, progressive porch concert tours, the neighborhood is overrun with musicians and artists (in a good way!) Cultural, socioeconomic, religious and ethnic diversity abound. You can yoga at the ashram or local yoga studio. We are just off 16th Street which is fairly busy, though not a major artery in the city. A guest once characterized the variety of people on 16th Street as "just like the public library, a little bit of everything."
  • Simple and enjoyable love it the out side shower will change your life aha

    Alfonso2018-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This space is incredible! Highly recommend!!

    Sabrina2018-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • It was my first time in Phoenix, was there only for one night, but Everything was very nice. Also a new and good experience to take a shower outside and sleep on the trailer.

    Lara2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very eclectic stay, great for one night. Was an interesting experience with the outdoor shower and sink, toilets a little walk away & down the hallway, etc. Julia was a great host, showed us everything we needed to know. Overall, this choice was budget friendly for a very unique experience

    Stephanie2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Julia was so welcoming and helpful! The Hive is an incredibly hip and fun place. The trailer is what dreams are made of. Staying here makes you realize you don't need anything more in life. 10/10 would recommend.

    Lindsay2016-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet, unique, cozy spot to spend the night. Julia was a pleasure to meet and made our first Air B&B stay enjoyable.

    Francis2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely eclectic place to stay as opposed to a hotel. As noted in the description the wifi is a bit in and out and the bathroom is public, which are the only things that might deter someone from staying here just because of the unconventional format. Beyond that, I only have SUPER HIGH PRAISE for this place. Hosts were accommodating and friendly, with some of the worlds cutest dogs. The location is super convenient for anything you'd want to do in Phoenix. The trailer itself is cozy and clean, and very comfortable. It's amazing staying next to several awesome businesses too, which are all female run. Definitely check out the zine shop. The landscaping and property is gorgeous too, the perfect artsy South western garden. Thank you guys so much!!

    Naomi2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Loved my stay here! My experience was just as advertised: A retro oasis in a sequestered corner behind a working artists collective. On my motorcycle journey to the desert, this was (thankfully) as far from a corporate hotel as could be. The hosts were warm and welcoming, waiting for me at my arrival, showing me in and making sure I had everything I needed, including recommendations for great restaurants in the area (ended up eating at the Tuck Shop, a short walk away and delicious). The trailer was tidy and clean. Made tea on the stove, read while lounging in the patio and enjoyed a hot outdoor shower to wash off the road. Had coffee and a delicious breakfast sandwich in the Mud Dauber Coffee shop in the morning before hitting the road again. Excellent experience, highly recommended.

Stay in a Vintage 1967 Airstream tastefully reimagined by a critically acclaimed local designer Joel Contreras (whose work has appeared in Dwell, Houzz, Design Milk, ArchDaily, etc), located in the eclectic Coronado Historic Neighborhood, recently called "Hipsterhood" by Forbes magazine. Enter your own private yard through a gated entrance, enjoy a wood burning fire pit, have a drink on the wood deck. A truly one-of-a kind space in the perfect downtown location!
Inside, the Airstream is well stocked with everything you may need, and has an induction hot plate to heat your skillet or a hot water kettle (provided). Small under the counter fridge, and a SMEG toaster as well. French press with local coffee grounds from Ollie Vaughn's (an awesome coffee shop located a three minute walk away), and a tea selection. Tuft and Needle Full size mattress (54'x75') and a spare Twin blow up if you need it. AC and heat work great, instant hot water heater - shower as long as you want! :-) Two cruiser bikes could easily take to a number of local staple restaurants like the Tuck Shop, Ollie Vaughn's, Tacos Chiwas and many other fantastic places. This location is the epicenter of the foodie scene in Phoenix!
Coronado Historic District is an eclectic historic / modern neighborhood, recently called "Hipsterhood" by Forbes magazine. The homes are a mixture of historic bungalows and modern new builds - several featured in Dwell magazine. There are several small restaurants and cafes within walking distance, and even a quaint local market called Sunshine Market. Sunshine is a local secret because they sell craft beers that are about to expire at a crazy low price.
  • I recommend this place to anyone coming to visit Phoenix! It’s a cool, hip space close to nearby delicious restaurants/cafes that quickly became my favorites (Tuck Shop, The Coronado PHX). If you’re going with another person, be prepared for the very close quarters...!

  • My husband and I loved spending time in this space. It was our first time staying at an air stream and we appreciated the redesign. Greg was such a gracious host and checked in to make sure everything was okay. The bed was super comfy. We loved the shower. We spent a lot of time in the patio area. We had a very sweet stay!

    Monica2018-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place is incredible! It could be featured in an Indie documentary. We loved it and they really thought of evwrything you could need while travelling. Greg was great about letting us know he could help with anything we might need. I highly recommend this space it is lovely.

    Jeri2018-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Greg’s Airbnb was so awesome I booked an extra 2 nights

    Kevin2018-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place is awesome! I thought it would be too small for two people, but it actually accommodates two people quite comfortably. Greg responds SUPER fast to messages, so if you have any questions he is super helpful. The bed is actually pretty awesome, it's a twin but is honestly one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The place is really modern and the patio and fireplace are great for relaxing. This place is perfect if you want to go outside the box of your typical house/apartment airbnb. I have never stayed in an airstream before, but I would totally stay in one again. I 100% recommend!

    Haley2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • A very friendly host with a cozy air stream. You'll feel great in it

    Gresa2018-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in Phoenix thanks to Greg! The airstream was comfortable, cool, and in a great location. Greg was extremely responsive and check-in was a breeze. Next time, we'd love to try out the beautiful firepit!

    Karolyne2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • I had to give this location and the hosts 5 Stars across the board. Not only did they get back to ma in a timely manner with all of my questions, they added in extra details for what they thought I would need. I absolutely loved staying in the airstream and would definitely choose this over a hotel anytime I am traveling alone.

Zoe (the Airstream) lives in the backyard of our 1935 Bungalow in the Coronado Historic District. Amazing queen-size bed, kitchen w/ dinette + 3/4 bath. A/C & heating. A private little oasis with yard, fire pit, pool. Walk to restaurants. Grid Bikes, bus stops, Uber and Lyft = easy travel. Less than five mins to Banner Health and Phoenix Children's hospitals. Under 10 to Downtown Phoenix, ASU, Biltmore and airport. You’ll love the neighborhood. Zoe is perfect for couples and solo adventurers.
Zoe is a Flying Cloud Airstream and she really is a dream inside and out. Whether you've never been in an Airstream or have childhood memories of 'glamping' before it was a thing, you'll love the unique nature of the space. The front of the trailer holds the queen size bed. It's got a memory-foam topper and is super comfy. Most guests say it’s the best sleep they’ve had in months! There’s a TV (with basic channels) in the bedroom connected to a (Hidden by Airbnb) Chromecast so you can cast your Hulu, Amazon Prime and Netflix, etc. accounts to it. You'll also find a (Hidden by Airbnb) Home mini in the Airstream. Have fun asking her anything you want! There are two closet spaces for suitcase storage or if you need to hang anything up. The kitchen area has a dinette, fridge/freezer and microwave. If you are feeling adventurous, you could cook something up on the stove. The kitchen is well-appointed but in compact fashion of course. Zoe is stocked with water, coffee, tea and some snacks. We've arrived at AirBnBs before hungry as can be only to have to head right out to get something to eat. We don’t want this for you so you’ll be sure to find a few things in the cabinets to get you by before you head out for your first meal. As for the loo, you'll find it at the rear of the trailer and in it’s own room. It holds a good size shower plus sink and toilet (and yes, it's a fully functioning toilet - we have been asked about this). It's stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a blow dryer along with towels. We also have extra bathroom essentials stored in the cabinet below. All products (from PUBLIC GOODS) are gluten-free, vegan-friendly, without sulfates, parabens, phlalates, etc. WiFi is available with the network and password on the front of the guest book. Feel free to use the pool, fire pit and grill. We have plenty of patio furniture including lounges so you can enjoy the great weather here in Phoenix. The pool (chlorine) is swimmable most times of the year except the winter. Yes, it does get cold in Phoenix...well, at least to us!
Oh my goodness, Coronado is the most wonderful neighborhood. It's like a little city within Phoenix and the Valley of the Sun. We have plenty of restaurants within 1/2 mile. Our favorite breakfast and lunch spot, Duza's, is 548' from our front door as is Sunshine Market where you can get just about anything. Coronado is one of three historic districts in the Greater Coronado neighborhood. If you like looking at old homes, you'll enjoy walking around the neighborhood. We have homes from the early 1900's with most built in the 30's and 40's. We have a few new-builds thrown in too. Our 30th annual Coronado Home Tour takes place February 2017. We love to show off our homes! We have three parks in the neighborhood and over a dozen Little Free Libraries. The closest is right out front of our home.
  • Great experience in a unique setting!

    Amanda2018-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • A great base camp to discover Phoenix. Charming, comfortable and squeaky clean! This definitely beats a boring hotel room...

    Merijn2018-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay in Phoenix, I enjoyed my stay. It's close to Phoenix and Scottsdale. Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, they invited me to a neighborhood block party which was happening during my visit.

    Paulson2016-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect! Amber was a wonderful host- she made our stay so easy. She even gave us a code to get money off of Lyft rides (okay... she also explained it to us - cause we are country folk who have never used this type of service before)! Zoe was amazing - stocked with everything we could need... excellent trip!

    Laurel2016-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place! Amber is so very creative using the coloring book for an activity, as well as the chalk to draw on the wall. So fun. I think anyone looking for a hide away, a local/walkable place to visit Phoenix would enjoy staying here. I'll definitely be back if the scheduling permits. And hopefully I'll get to use the pool and stay a little longer.

    Elizabeth2016-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • We love the idea of an Airstream BnB so our experience with Amber and Zoee was great! You can tell Amber has spent a lot of time and effort making sure all of her guests are comfortable and taken care of. It was an awesome experience and we hope to go again soon!

    Greg2016-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Amber's Airstream named Zoe is perfect for anybody looking for something a little different! Very very comfy and a nice pool to boot! Check it out if you are in town, Airstreams are super awesome! I want one of my own now :) The host is a fantastic communicator as well and always very helpful when needed.

    Christian2017-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • The Airstream is exactly as described. The parking is easy and so was getting into the locked front gate. The bed was amazingly comfy! And, Amber provided little extras that totally enhanced our stay. The yard was cute and we were able to relax outside with drinks. Sky Harbor Airport is very close. Loved walking to Tuck's for dinner and picking up a few groceries at Sunshines on the way back. Also enjoyed a walk to Coronado Coffee.

Soak up the vintage feel of staying in an Airstream while enjoying the modern efficiencies of a trailer built in 2017. This mid-century style glamping experience extends to the outdoors as well, with use of backyard sun loungers and a shady porch.
This is not your average stay! Have you dreamed of waking up in an Airstream? Live your dream and come stay in the Silver Savoy. Offering all the comforts of home - the airstream is an oasis of luxury in an urban setting. Modelled on the original 1930's classic, she's the perfect combination of retro nostalgia and contemporary design. The interior is sleek and stylish, and is equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your glamping experience to the full. Facilities include: fully fitted kitchen with oven/hob/microwave/fridge-freezer; shower room with wc & washbasin; bedroom with cosy queen bed; dining/living with comfy sofa and flat-screen TV/DVD; i-pod/i-phone docking, CD player with surround-sound stereo; Wi-Fi internet access; and air con and heating. It’s the perfect getaway for a business trip, romantic adventure, or exploring all that Phoenix has to offer (see my Guidebook for ideas). You could call this camping, but it’s far from “roughing it.” It’s more like glamorous camping or “glamping!”
The Silver Savoy Airstream trailer is located within the Phoenix Historic Homesteads area, close to the Biltmore Hotel and Camelback Mountain. There's a vibrant food, beer, music, and art scene throughout Phoenix and Scottsdale.
  • Mary's place was awesome! It was my first time staying in an RV and it was a fun experience. I would consider staying here again.

    Bryan2018-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Mary and the airstream were phenomenal! The airstream was very clean and we felt right at home. Mary was very friendly and helpful and made sure to check in on us to ensure we were having a pleasant stay. 10/10. (Charley was awesome as well ).

    Shelby2018-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • It was a wonderful Airstream Experience! Mary and Charley (pup) really made our stay the best!

    Stacy2018-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • First and foremost, Mary is a lovely person. She was so friendly and generous, offering me everything but the kitchen sink when I arrived. Her neighborhood is very close to everything you would need including the airport but is very quiet and safe. The airstream is in the front of her house and has a fire pit outside with some chairs to enjoy. She shares her backyard with you as well, which is very charming and tranquil at night. The airstream itself is adorable, modern and very clean! The shower was large for a travel trailer as well as the bed which was also very comfortable! I had a great nights sleep, felt very at home and would recommend Mary's airstream to anyone in the area!

    Elisabeth2017-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Mary was beyond accommodating when our arrival time was pushed back 5 + hours due to a delayed flight. The Airstream itself was spotless; a really cool place to stay!

    Tom2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Mary's Airstream was the coolest! We loved staying in an alternative style Airbnb. The Airstream was surprisingly comfortable and it had so many nifty features. Mary was very friendly and helpful and seemed like she lived a great life (she was off to neighborhood happy hour when we arrived - #goals).

    Ann2018-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for something different yet still homey, this is a great find! Mary and Charley were super welcoming. Communication about the stay was great and she was very accommodating. We ended up just using Lyft and local transport to get around, no need for a rental if you plan on hanging around the Phoenix area. Quiet neighborhood, no issue with being close to the road. Awesome place to stay!

    Tess2018-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • this airstream is so cute and close to downtown phoenix too. mary was always reliable and replied to all our texts. she even invited us to dinner which was so sweet. the area is nice and very relaxing. i'd suggest this to anybody!

Remodeled Airstream located in the heart of Roosevelt Row -the best neighborhood in downtown Phoenix. Real toilet and shower with a split AC system, located on a nice little plot of land right off the historic Portland Street. Yes the AC works great, we installed a house split system and can get the unit into the 70’s even in the middle of the summer! If you want a unique experience, this place is for you. If not, check out our other listings. https://www.airbnb.com/users/98561854/listings
A great opportunity to stay on the historic Portland Street of the Roosevelt Row neighborhood in a totally unique way, a remodeled vintage airstream. This unit is awesome! It's my first airstream and I can understand why people love them so much. They just make you happy. We upgraded it to have a modern bathroom and real Air Conditioner. We also put in a real queen bed. It's located on a nice little piece of land right off the historic Portland Street in the heart of Roosevelt Row Arts District in Downtown Phoenix. The Space: 1 bedroom 1 bathroom Kitchenette Semi-private yard Plenty of street parking. Beds: 2 total 1 Queen Bed 1 Fullish bed -the dining area converts into a bed. It’s kinda a pain like with all dining conversions, but it’s there if you need an extra bed. Entertainment: High speed internet and wifi Netflicks The AC: There are three AC's in the unit. It does a great job, however this is still a giant hunk of Aluminum boiling in the desert summer. It stays at about 75 degrees when it is 110 outside, however the sides of the Airstream remain warm. It's not like a well insulated house, there are spots in the Airstream which are colder than others. I’ve stayed here in the middle of the summer and love it, however if you have heat sensitivity, or need your unit to be an icebox, hold off and book in the fall, winter, or spring. -I block this unit for myself when I am in downtown. It's my favorite place to stay in Phoenix. The neighborhood is a unique mixture of old and new that makes this one of the most sought after neighborhoods in the downtown area. One of the only truly walk-able districts in Phoenix. Restaurants, bars and coffee shops within blocks. Portland Street itself, is arguably the most in demand street of Phoenix. The last of the original historic city, located directly in the downtown corridor. A great place to stay for a game or convention or any downtown activities. Central to everything in phoenix, and easily accessible to mass transit, blocks from the light rail system. Phoenix can be overwhelming to someone not familiar with the city. You won't go wrong with this choice, or location. Things to walk to, easy access, and a great home base to explore the rest of the city. Managed by Yado Properties (Website hidden by Airbnb)
  • Such a beautiful renovation of an Airstream classic. So worth staying in and beats a boring hotel any day.

    Sandra2018-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely space inside and out and great way to check one off your bucket list. The airstream is very comfortable for two with modern interior and decor. Check-in was hassle free which was a huge plus as we were road tripping into town and arrival time was late night. Highly recommend!

    Victoria2018-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • They had everything we needed and the place was very cute.

    Rocio2018-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place is in a great area and is super cute and fun! There were some issues to no fault of the host that prevented us from wanting to stay here but the host was super quick to respond (immediately!) and offer a solution that we were happy with. I would try this place out again once it’s a little more established for sure!

Groovy Terry Trailer-Camp on a sustainable farm. Trailer sleeps 2 in a king size bed and has a shared outdoor bathroom and shower. A/C is via a long extension cord, and campfires for cooking are allowed. Stove top is gas fired, but sink is not plumbed so washing is best performed with the outdoor potable water sink nearby. Picnic bench is shared along with the big grassy area. We have another Bohemian Getaway right next door if you want a romantic weekend or need a place to park the kids.
The farm has 1200 fruit trees on 7 acres, and also hosts an AirBnb apartment that is available to book for 2 person groups and my dad lives on site in the main home, an adobe farmhouse built in 1934. The shared spaces include the bathroom, picnic area, and firepit which is located up front and has lighting. The Bohemian Hideaway is parked right next to the camper, so you will want to make friends when it is booked as well. You can start a small campfire in the nearby firepit if you wish to stay close. We have wifi located at the main house, about 600 feet away from the campground, and a window a/c and a space heater is powered by a long extension cord. It can get cold in the desert so pack like you are camping! A lantern, paper plates, any items for cooking etc will come in handy, but there is a Black Bear Diner right around the corner. We provide toilet paper, trash disposal, cold water from the hose and a propane powered hot water shower. It can get COLD in the desert at night, so bring blankets and extra pajamas will come in handy in the winter. If you aren't sure, bring it or request more info! You can park near your camper, so no need to hike to pack it all in. There is a small propane heater to keep warm, but be prepared for the one month of winter here in AZ with extra supplies. Also, it is very dark here at the farm, (perfect for stargazing, not so great for checking in late) so plan to arrive in the daylight to get your bearings and avoid any problems. My dad lives on site and can help, but prefers to be resting early :)
Laveen was just voted #6 on the friendliest places in AZ and is a unique mix of rural meeting city. The farm is nestled right at the base of the South Mountain where there are excellent hiking and biking trails. There are also a number of other farms along the SOMO Farm Trail, like Danseizen Dairy, Farm at South Mountain, Abby Lee Farms and others. Caesar Chavez Park nearby offers a public library and golf course and lots of green space. The nearest grocery stores are at 51st Ave and Baseline, so you will want to have a mode of transportation. The campsite is located about a 1/4 mile away from the road, but be aware that you are close enough to hear traffic. This is a somewhat rural setting in an urban farm.
  • Janna's place was great! The trailer was cozy and we loved the lime green decor. The outside area was our favorite spot to hang out and relax as well. Janna responded quickly to our concerns about finding the place. This is a unique place to stay that I would definitely do again.

    Alex2018-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for a budget-friendly option in a beautiful location, this is for you. I hate the word 'glamping', but that's what this is — all of the comforts of home, just with a better view. I'll definitely come back again when I visit Phoenix in the future. One thing to note: there is another room for rent on the same lot, so if you're looking for something exceedingly private, this might not be for you. But if you're up for a little socializing, this is a really cool option.

    Olivia2018-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Cute setup, prepar as if you were camping!

    Charlie2018-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Nice quiet little trailer, Janna was very helpful even with a bathroom issue she had before we arrived, trying to fix it asap. Advise: the heating is not so great, so I'd avoid staying during cold months. If you want something different, chill and romantic this is a cool place. If you're looking for something more comfortable, it's not ideal because it has an outside bathroom.

    Hezequias2018-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Trailer was clean and nice! Would stay again! Bed was comfy but the trailer was cold. That's expected though so just make sure to use both blankets and the space heater they have in there! Jana was very responsive and fixed the power when it wasn't working (cords got tangled). The wifi wasn't avaliable in or around the trailer. That was kind of misleading considering its an amenity. Didn't ruin my stay and I would stay again, just don't expect to have wifi. Cell service was perfect though! 4.5/5! Would stay again!

    Barak2018-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • My Fiancé and I just moved from California from Arizona and we needed a place to stay until our home was ready to move into and Janna’s trailer was the best place to stay at! Her and her dad were very helpful. If you needed anything you can shoot her a text message and she was very quick to respond. At first when we saw that it said there was no hot water we were a bit worried, but when you take a shower between noon and 2:00pm it was hot during the day that the cold water felt so good and actually very refreshing that we didn’t mind it at all! There was also a place to have a nice fire and she also left us with a lot of fire wood which lasted the week and a half that we were there. We would definitely come back and stay there it was such a fun time! And Janna was just an overall amazing host!

  • The lemon grove was such a peaceful setting. I saw coyote and walked to the corner store. Good bars and restaurants a short drive away.

  • This trailer was in the most picture perfect of locations. Janna and her dad were very nice and made this vacation feel like home. Thanks for the hospitality!

Relax as you lounge around or in the pool while watching a movie of your choice. Now that's living.
  • Bob and I loved our stay at The Dog House in this beautiful setting. Terri and Steve, the owners, made us feel like family and were very accommodating. We were greeted with a welcoming assortment of snacks and enjoyed Happy Hour at the outdoor bar. The location was perfect for us. We are hoping to return for a longer stay next year.

  • An unforgettable experience!!!

    Marie2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had high expectations of the Shaggy Dog, based on others' reviews. Our expectations were not only met, but exceeded! Terri and Steve were so warm and welcoming to their place and made us feel immediately at home. The camper looks just like the photos, description is spot on, and was stocked with many thoughtful touches: muffins and fruit, cheesecake, other snacks, beverages, nice linens and towels, well stocked kitchen, Netflix on TV, etc. Outside, they have a firepit, gazebo, a private outdoor shower, hot tub, and patio table and chairs for enjoying the outdoors. The bed was really comfortable, and the bedroom has both a heater and a fan. Their dogs are really sweet and friendly. We felt very safe and did not lock the camper either at night or during the day when we were out and about. We would happily stay here again next time we come to Phoenix and would definitely recommend this place to our friends!

    Deb2018-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • The Dog House is a brilliant!! My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. Terri and Steve are as advertised "Super Hosts".

    Mark2017-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Terri's place was such a treat Everything was just as described and the extra touches were a pleasant surprise. From the snacks and beverages to the delicious Valentine'so cheesecake left in the fridge we just felt pampered. The pool, hot tub, fireplace and pool table were so much fun to use for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. This is a hidden gem and we hope to stay there again.

    Audrey2017-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We were amazed at all the perks and touches that Terri and Steve added to our stay in their camper. There were abundant snacks and water and even cream for our coffee. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived as well! the compound / house grounds are amazing! I wish we had more time to stay and enjoy all they had to offer. Thanks so much for the comfy bed and all the wonderful snacks and fruit!

    Vera2018-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Shaggy Dog B&B was amazing! Terri & Steve are wonderful, gracious hosts who take great pride in their property including all the creative personal touches throughout. One of our favorites was the outdoor shower! We highly recommend the Shaggy Dog B&B for a unique, fun getaway!

    Rhonda2018-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This property is amazing...a really unique and cool retreat in Phoenix. The property is very well taken care of and caters to their guests. Terri and Steve were fantastic hosts...providing the right balance of helpful host and privacy. I would and likely will stay here again!!!

Beautiful 38 ft RV with full kitchen and office space with access to a pool and off street parking!
  • Chad & Alicia's RV makes for a cute and stylish space to stay near Baseline Rd south of downtown Phoenix. It has all mod cons: a (small but functional) kitchen area with fridge & freezer, two beds and a sitting area, and of course a proper bathroom. There's parking right outside and a pool available for use too (not that we got the chance to do so). This is great value for money: the RV is nicely appointed, clean and modern, and the location is only 15 minutes' drive to DTPHX.

A beautiful Airstream in a serene Sonoran desert setting in the Cave Creek/North Scottsdale area. Great place to relax and easy access to all of the activities in and around Scottsdale. This Airstream is on a property over an acre in size with full amenities. The property has small and friendly farm animals. All of them have been lovingly rescued and live here happily with the owners of the home. Farm-fresh eggs can be picked right from the hen houses every morning during your stay.
Great place to experience tiny living in an Airstream. Just because it is small, it can still be luxurious and comfortable.
Quiet Cave Creek neighborhood yet super easy access to all of Scottsdale and Phoenix. 30 minutes to the Phoenix Airport to fly to and from anywhere. Phoenix Sonoran Preserve offers hiking trails through thousands of acres of the Sonoran desert protected for your enjoyment is just a short walk away.
  • We loved staying at the airstream! It was very clean and accurately described and pictures were as advertised! Britany was a great host and met all of our needs! The fresh eggs were delicious! We loved visiting with the animals everyday especially the mules and goats. I would recommend staying to both friends and family and would love to stay there again myself in the future.

    Mike2018-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • The Airstream was a great place to stay for our family of 3. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. The neighborhood was great, and I enjoyed a lovely walk in the nature preserve this morning. The bed was comfortable, and we loved visiting with the donkeys. Highly recommended!!

    Karl2018-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is an absolutely great place to stay! It had enough room for my husband and I as well as our two smaller children. Marlene even left some toys for them to play with which was super nice. Decoration and look of the airstream was so cool! Shower and toilet were great. We didn’t get a chance to cook the complementary eggs and make some coffee but it was so nice that it was an option. Will stay again in the future! Also, check in and check out instructions were clear and easy. Can’t say enough good things about this place but it is a must to stay here!

    Claire2018-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay. We love the farm, waking up to the sight of donkeys and pony was awesome :). The airstream and the outdoor spaces were exactly like in the pictures. Very serene and relaxing. Hosts were very thoughtful.

    Samantha2018-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • The Airstream was so much fun to stay in. Very comfortable space with all the amenities we needed, and the town nearby was such a pleasant surprise. We followed a few of the suggestions in the welcome book and a great time exploring. Easy commute from the airport and to Scottsdale. We felt secluded, but not isolated. We were given space, but always felt like Brittany was available if we needed anything. Definitely recommend this experience.

    Serena2018-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lot of fun in the Airstream which was clean, well equipped and made for a different experience. Responses were quick and a highlight was a tour of the farm and the freshly laid eggs. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something a bit different

    Lucie2018-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place. A private Zoo!! So wonderful to stay with the animals in such unique get away. We love the Airstream. We totally want one now.

    Wiliam2018-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a perfect stay at the airstream, it’s so beautiful inside and out and so well equipped! The farm tour was so adorable and we got to feed the baby goats! The lights in the evening in front are the airstream are so magical and it’s so lovely sitting outside watching the stars with a glass of wine. The bed is also one of the comfiest we have stayed in on our trip, all in all the perfect stay in such a great area!

Offered here is the experience of staying in Modern 2007, 30' Classic Airstream in a quiet, urban neighborhood. Camper has full hookups; water, electric, sewer with private entrance and dedicated parking. Located within walking distance of the light rail, bus stops, and Melrose/7th Ave, which has several great vintage/resale boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, and much more. Close to I-10, Downtown Phoenix, and 20 minutes from Sky Harbor airport.
Our 30' Classic Airstream lives on the side of our house; it is a semi-private area with an industrial motif. There is a wrought iron bistro table for two on the side while you BBQ on the gas grill. We used reclaimed wood pallets to create a fence for a semi-private space as well as a cozy outdoor couch. Our location is just minutes away from the Light Rail and some of Phoenix’s best coffee houses. Our favorites are The Refuge and Copper Star Coffee. Nearby 7th Street Corridor has some of the best dining in Phoenix; and it’s just minutes away by car or Uber.
“Melrose on 7th contains a patchwork of residential and commercial infrastructure, some of which dates as far back as the 1940s. Though always an established neighborhood, it wasn’t until the past decade that the area truly began to solidify into the vibrant one it is — and is still becoming — today. Besides its quaint single-family, post-war residences weaved throughout, Melrose on 7th has largely become known as a citywide epicenter for all things secondhand. From retro duds to mid-century furnishings and home accessories, the district has made a name for itself as a one-stop shopping destination for all things vintage.” – DPJ, 2017.
  • I love, loved this place. I’ve never stayed in a camper before and my boyfriend and I have already booked it for when we visit again in Feb. it was sparkling clean, comfortable, and very private. The neighborhood is so adorable, I enjoyed breakfast at The Refuge. A nonprofit coffee shop within walking distance. Great find! I highly recommend

  • Christina and Michael’s place is simply amazing. They have thought of every little thing you might need in a home away from home. The communication was easy and quick. I can highly recommend their place to anyone who is after something new and unusual.

  • I wish I could give this 10 stars! This was my first time staying in an airstream and it was wonderful and the perfect amount of space and relaxing ambiance. Very clean, the bed is so comfortable and the thoughtful touches everywhere made my visit even better. Safe and very cool location. Hosts are very professional and accommodating. Stay here!

    Charity2018-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Easy to get to location wise. Very quite area. The Airstream was cool and very clean. Michael was available by text and in person for any questions. Absolutely loved the out door area. Would definitely Air BNB it at this location again. Had a great night and this location was great for getting around Central Phoenix. The price was fair and priced just right! Thanks Chris M.

    Christopher2018-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location. Great hosts, excellent accomadations. Perfect place to stay.

    Jeff2018-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nothing short of spectacular! If you've always wanted to try out an Airstream this one is brand spanking new in excellent shape with all the upgrades. Leather seating, sound system, TV equipped with inputs for watching your favorite programs on your iPhone or HDMI device. So incredibly cool in this modern cozy Airstream. Try out tiny home living and create a memorable experience while you are traveling. BBQ and outdoor seating are excellent for enjoying the Arizona nights and centrally located near dinning, shopping and the trendy Melrose area make this the perfect parking spot for the Airstream. Safe, quiet and reasonable. Do yourself a favor and choose an adventure instead of an ergonomically sanitized plain hotel room while you visit the Valley of the Sun. You will not regret it, Michael and Christina are excellent hosts and will make your trip a great one!

Hi! Our super adorable 50s vintage camper trailer on the property of our updated 50s home is located in the heart of central Phoenix. It's perfect for the adventurous or charm-seekers who want to stay in a truly unique Airbnb. Great for couples, solo travelers, small families & glamping aficionados. Close to all the action (restaurants of all kinds, bars, music venues, parks) in downtown, uptown & midtown PHX, this is a retreat in a quiet neighborhood where you can relax, breathe & smile.
Betty (the vintage camper trailer) is your place to call your very own tiny home. She has a long sofa to kick back, converse and relax on and a breakfast nook that you can use as a workspace or to play board and card games. And an uber delightful interior to get all that sweet Instagram love. Betty is an endearing tiny house to welcome you into the awesomely growing Tiny House Movement; great as a base camp and for a leisure rest before and after adventuring. At night, the sofa turns into one bed. And the nook can be turned into a second one. Betty has closet space for your belongings and storage for your bags/luggage. Your true full bathroom is waiting for you just steps inside our main home.(Not inside the camper.) It's semi-private because we have a room in our house that we occasionally rent on Airbnb. So you'd share the bathroom with any guest that might also be visiting. We'll even provide the essentials -- hand soap, toothpaste, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels, if you need. Betty has heating and A/C if and when you need it. She is also technologically savvy as she's equipped with your own Amazon echo, which can tell you the news, play a game, answer any curious question you have and even play whatever music you wish to help you get ready for an exciting day or wind down after an exhausting one or fall asleep. All you have to do is talk to it and tell it what to do! (You will also have your own, private wireless internet network.) Yes, this is the airbnb you've been looking for.
Our neighborhood is at the tip of becoming one of Phoenix's most hip enclaves. I love that there are kids that play in the street, but most of all I love the proximity to amazing food and bars, whether you go just south to downtown, just north to uptown or stay in midtown. We're just south of Melrose district, which has a ton of vintage shops to visit. Planning to cook a night or three? Safeway and Sprouts are just walking distance or a 1-minute drive away.
  • Hospitality of Odeen & Jenny was outstanding, access to outdoor space in the backyard. Questions and recommendations helped integrate into the city quickly, and their pride in the city was obvious from their shared experiences. Camper was a small space, excellent for a base camp as you explore the city. Amenities provided helped feel a little more like home, and the location was great as you go in any direction for your favorite places or to find something new and local.

    Dustin2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place was so cute and accurately advertised. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, gave us lots of great tips in addition to the great travel resources in the glamper. The glamper has AC and electricity and is really comfy, my friend and I both slept well. The two beds are a good size, neither of us felt cramped at all. They provided coffee, drinking water and towels. You have to go inside the house to use the washroom, but it’s not a big deal at all. Definitely recommend!

    Ashley2018-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was a sweet little trailer in a great and convenient spot in Phoenix. Our host was very friendly, helpful, and patient (we got in quite late). The trailer is small, best for one or two, and was comfortable. AC was provided and the wifi was quick. The bathroom is located in the main house and our host was very hospitable, letting us come and go as we needed, and provided a key. We drove out to the Grand Canyon and returned that evening- so it was an ideal location for traveling to see the sites.

    Lea2018-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Foo Fighters played on the speaker when we walked into the glamper! Betty is clean, fun and the beds are actually pretty darn comfortable. Odeen-Jon and his family are hospitable hosts and the property is very safe and secure. Communication was amazing and they have many special touches to make your PHX visit unique!

    Ericka2018-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Odeen and his wife were absolutely great hosts. I, unfortunately, had to cut my stay short, but they were great with accommodating changes and making suggestions for both my short stay in Phoenix as well as my trips to the Grand Canyon and even San Diego. Absolutely recommend

    Juan2018-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first time using Air BnB and all my expectations were met thanks to Jon/Jenn.

    Miguel2018-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time in Betty this weekend! This vintage trailer is beautifully decorated, and super convenient to downtown Phoenix. With temperatures over 100*, Betty was cool and comfortable & Odeen-Jon’s communication was extremely quick- which was greatly appreciated. Definitely recommend.

    Eugenia2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Not only is Betty the glamper super cute and quite comfortable, the yard is possibly even better than the camper! Wonderfully shady and cool on hot Phoenix days, with a cool grown-up tree swing, play house for the kids, and a blood orange tree that guests can eat oranges from. The location is close to everything in Central Phoenix and the hosts shared lots of great suggestions for places to go (we did almost all of them!). They were incredibly gracious about letting our kids use their child’s toys/bikes/bathroom stool/etc. and even play together when we were all “home” at the same time.

  • Quaint little RV located in Mesa near the 202. My husband and I needed a place to stay over a weekend and this place was perfect for just the occasion. We received a quick response from Bobby and were directed to get in contact with one of the managers, Myrna, to discuss check-in. It was a smooth process, in person she explained the basics of how the RV worked then assured us if we ever needed anything during our stay to contact her. The RV itself is very private. A few neighbors and all were pleasantly friendly. The RV has the standard bathroom, gas stove, fridge, and two convertible beds... additionally it was equipped with super fast Wi-Fi, a great AC unit, and cable television... an added plus were the extra water and snacks that were offered inside. Our stay was extremely pleasant and if you don’t mind a little bit of condensed space with everything you need, this place is 100% for you !!

    Shirlene2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Bobby's place was well worth the price. We were greated in person and told everything we needed to know. I will say the GPS does not take you straight to it but they went out of their way to help us find the spot. It was a very decent trailer park. I took my dog out for a walk at night. It is also right off the highway which made it easy to get to any part of Phoenix without the noise of it. Overall, it was a great deal!

Airstream 1976 31' Sovereign, re-modeled interior. Lots of light, modern features/updates but still retaining some of the classic/vintage qualities. The feeling of being inside an Airstream is like nothing else. New plumbing throughout, clean fresh and filtered water supply. Fridge, stove, water heater and A/C work great. Wireless Bluetooth stereo system, amazing surround sound. TV connects to Chromecast. On-site only, not available for off-site trips/travel.
The Airstream is all yours during your stay. I am in the process of having my backyard remodeled, and have the perfect spot for this classic trailer. I wanted to get June Bug (Airstream) listed to give people an opportunity to book her even though the outdoor space is a work in progress. You will have private access through two gates.
  • This is my second stay with Johanna, and I'm sure I'll be back again! The space is so comfortable and Johanna is super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I like the up-and-coming neighborhood; it's close to downtown, but still residential. This is a great deal for a private space in Phoenix. Thanks Jojo!

    Jamie2017-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • My sister and I had a reunion between our East and West Coast homes in Canada and loved our stay in June Bug on our first visit to Phoenix. Johanna left a beautiful welcome basket and was generous in so many ways, with so many thoughtful details. We used public transit, bikes provided, the occasional Lyft and lots of walking - and we were able to navigate easily without a car over the week. Enjoyed First Friday on Roosevelt, Farmers Market, Heard Festival and the M3F Music Festival - all in this very artsy, clean and safe neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants. The airstream has memory foam beds and is super comfortable, kitschy and adorable....just like Johanna!

    Louise2018-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • My 11 & 12 year old boys were in AZ for spring training. Johanna is very warm and welcoming. We arrived after 11pm and she was there to greet us and make sure we were comfortable and settled. The fridge was filled with goodies to get us started. Sweet airstream with lots of charm and personality. Fun glamping experience.

    Patricia2018-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in the Airstream during a week long research conference at the Phoenix Convention Center with two other graduate students trying to save money. It was good fun because we're all friends, but would have been weird with people I didn't know well. The trailer has a nice vibe, kind of like a really decked out clubhouse, and my bed was comfy. I looked forward to returning each night from the conference and sat outside in the morning sunshine just after dawn to check my email. Good times. Johanna was warm and responsive.

    Michael2017-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had so much fun staying in Johanna's airstream trailer! It is adorably decorated and she is an amazing host! We were in town for a wedding and it was fun to have a little private space in the trailer to hang out in between events...and we loved sitting in front under the awning in the warm Phoenix sun! PS - Johanna also has an Air BnB space in her house, so a bigger group or family could do the trailer and the space in the house, too.

    Cherith2017-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was an amazing vacation rental! The type of person who would be interested in staying in a vintage Airstream trailer is the right kind of person for a host like Johanna. She has such a sense of style (vintage, kitschy, charming) and is warm, friendly, and extremely generous of spirit. We had so many amenities extended to us that were not even advertised in the property listing (use of her 3 bikes which she maintains very nicely, invitations to join her for outdoor movie viewing in the backyard in the evenings where she provided movie snacks, portable bluetooth speakers to play music from outside the Airstream or if we wanted to take them with us on excursions, a cute little space heater with faux fire, aromatherapy steamer to scent the room). The location was fantastic for bike riding to downtown Phoenix's many great restaurants. I would come back to Phoenix again and again just so I could stay here!

    Martina2018-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I stay with our two pups in Johanna's Airstream and we had am amazing time! She was extremely helpful in making sure we were comfortable. She is located close to downtown and the highway to make traveling across town easy. If you're looking for a place to stay look no further.

    Orlando2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Johanna's Airstream is a dream come true. From an Airstreamer herself to you, this Airstream International is packed full of amenities and right in the heart of it all in downtown Phoenix. Johanna was a great host and made us feel right at home. We brought our pup, Rory, with us and she was smitten with the trailer as we have one for our own home, too. We can't wait to send more of our friends and family her way when they come to visit! The perfect spot for a little Phoenix staycation.

  • I visited many of the other Cal-Am Resorts and I have to say the people at Mesa Regal are by far the friendliest! The happy hour at the pool/tiki bar is quite lively. A lot to do at the resort. I liked the fact Mesa Regal is on the outskirts of the heavy traffic but close enough to everything that getting to anything only takes a half an hour (depending upon time of day). Joe's place is neat, clean and comfortable. It is well equipped with whatever you need.

    Debbie2017-04-06T00:00:00Z

    Gigi2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, cute, comfortable, clean and convenient. This was our first air B and B stay. The home was perfect for the two of us. Comfortable bed....was appreciated after a full day of swimming in one of the resort's four pools. We stayed in the off season so the resort park was very quiet....would like to return when there is live music and drinks around the pool during the busy season. This place is conveniently located by grocery stores, cafes, shopping and great fruit market just across the street. Great stay in Mesa. Thanks Joe. P.S The bedroom ceiling stars are amazing!

    Kelly2017-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed staying at Joe's place, the amenities at Mesa Regal were great.

    Gayle2018-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Joe is a great host, have a problem? He deals with it right away. Location is excellent and Mesa Regal is a lovely place. Joe's home is comfortable and is supplied adequately for kitchen supplies and linens. I would recommend Joe's place and Mesa Regal to anyone!!

  • This is a wonderful place to stay! Susan and Trevor have created a comfortable, fun and luxurious place for guests. We loved the hot tub, and the bbq and pizza oven are fabulous. Susan was so welcoming and gave us great tips on places to go during our stay. I hope we can visit again!

    Sumaya2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Trevor and Susan have thought of every last detail at their place. We initially stayed there so we could use their bikes but there was so much more they offered. First of all, we loved the location ... a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, yet close enough to stores and restaurants. The RV was a fun twist on a place to stay and we enjoyed the simplicity of the small space. Our hosts left wine, coffee, and snacks for us which is always a bonus at Airbnb. We enjoyed the fresh oranges and grapefruits off the trees, making brick oven pizzas, and hot tubbing in the evening. We rode bikes to Old Scottsdale on the beautiful bike paths Scottsdale has to offer. Trevor and Susan were easy to work with and communicated well with us. They are definitely seasoned hosts and enjoy sharing their place with others. We will definitely stay here again.

    Renae2017-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Trevor and Susan treated us like family. The ranch is unbelievable, sparkling clean and will all amenities and more. We stayed and the camper and it was a true desert/camping experience. We will not hesitate to do it again. The RV is comfortable and neat and they make sure you have all you need but the best is Trevor and Susan and sharing nights in the backyard with all amenities. Thank you both!

  • I recommend any adults take advantage of this "little bit of heaven," I can't speak highly enough of the gorgeous outdoor area, amenities, and kind and entertaining hosts. You won't be disappointed if you elect this vacation stay.

    Diana2017-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • The camper is very comfortable and clean. The main draw of this location is the beautiful pool and patio area. Awesome place to grill out, swim, and build a fire.

    Timothy2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Trevor and Susan are awesome hosts and their place a is beautiful and unique find. My only concern is that too many people discover it and it won't be available the next time I want it :)

Country style living with outdoor fire pit, memory foam mattress, games, and surrounding fun. You want to bbq? We have that!
Great location for hiking, biking, and walking to local restaurants.
We have bikes/beach cruisers available to rent. Fire pit is accessible at all times for you so long as weather permits (just ask us). Corn hole games and family board games available.
  • Great cozy place to stay. Awesome host and the camper itself is loaded with nice surprises such as a large movie collection and board games. Definitely not somewhere you’d get bored even if you spend most of your time inside the camper.

    Esteban2018-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Kyle and Kendra were wonderful hosts. The camper is located in their back yard but the privacy fence makes you feel like you are okay your own campground. You have your own gate entrance that you are responsible for locking when coming and going. They communicated very efficiently and timely. When we asked for or need something Kyle and Kendra helped quickly! They are such nice people! The fire pit was awesome for our family as we roasted hot dogs for a meal. They provided the firewood and kindling and lighter fluid and charcoal!! The camper is stocked with everything you need and was very comfortable even for our family of energetic kids! Also having the amazon stick was big for when we need a little rest from all our activities. There isn’t anything “right” in the neighborhood but it is a quick 5-10 minute drive to great food and shopping! We also forgot our sons favorite stuffed animal and they shipped it right to us!! We loved the flexibility of staying here and would again!! Thank you Kyle and Kendra!

    Emily2018-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and even better value. Can not emphasize the small details Kyle and Kendra went through.

    Arturo2018-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • If you like camping, then you will enjoy Kyle’s place. He was also very helpful with everything.

    Luis2018-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Kyle offers a great little camper for guests that love camping or a great alternative to pricey hotels. Thank you Kyle for sharing your lovely camper.

    Mary2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at the trailer. It was comfortable inside for two people, but we also enjoyed the outside time. We had a wiener roast and foil dinner in the fire and even roasted marshmallows. We would highly recommend this property, particularly to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The location was handy when we went to Anthem, Wickenburg, Carefree, etc. and was close to the highways to go to other parts of Phoenix. Kyle and his wife were VERY friendly, helpful and accommodating.

  • We stayed in Sherry's park model during the month of November and had a wonderful time. Sherry went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and touched base with us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. We really appreciated the full size washer and dryer off of the Arizona Room. Sherry was a wonderful hostess, and her place lived up to her pictures and description.

The Bohemian Hideaway is a campground site with a King size bed and a mini love seat located in a reefer box from an old refrigerated produce truck. Lights are battery powered and there is a shared outdoor shower and bathroom with next door neighbors in the Groovy Terry Trailer. The location-sustainable farm setting nestled beneath the South Mountains and you can see the stars at night and the city skyline because of the rural setting so close to the city. Bring your camping stuff and enjoy!
The farm has 1200 fruit trees on 7 acres, and also hosts an Airbnb apartment, Groovy Terry Travel trailer that is available to book for 2 person parties and my dad lives on site in the main home, an adobe farmhouse built in 1934. The shared spaces include the shower, bathroom, picnic area, and fire pit which is located up front and has lighting. You can start a small campfire in the nearby fire pit. We have wifi near the house which is about 600 feet away from the campsite, and a very long extension cord for charging small electronic appliances, and a space heater. Prepare to bring items like you are camping, a lantern, paper plates, any items for cooking etc. We provide electricity via an extension cord, toilet paper, cold water from the hose and a gas powered hot water shower. It can get cold in the desert at night, so bring blankets and extra clothes. I provide towels, washcloths etc. If you aren't sure, bring it or request more info! You can park near your camper, so no need to pack it all in. We also provide a picnic basket with plates and utensils for a lovely afternoon either on one of the stunning mountain trails or right out front in the shady lawn. Please note, the space is more like camping than a hotel and the biggest limitations are no heating built in, only a space heater. Power is shared with others via an extension cord. Plan to arrive in daylight hours since it is very dark out here (great for stargazing, not so great for checking in on a big farm property and a quirky campsite)
Black Bear Diner is a popular nearby destination for a hearty breakfast if you don't want to cook on the campfire. The historic Del Monte convenience store is welcoming and friendly and sells the most winning lottery tickets in Laveen!
  • Really close to the airport and just the cutest little glamping place.

  • Our stay at Janna's place was refreshing, peaceful, and a feeling of countryside while being very close to Phoenix! The place was cute and clean. It should be noted that there is no hot water or outlets. I'm sure the cool water is refreshing in the summer, but a little chilly if you take a shower in the morning or evening during the winter months. ;) However, we absolutely loved our stay here!

    Katelyn2018-01-14T00:00:00Z
