Places to stay in Plainfield
Our sunny apartment is located midway between Northampton and the Berkshires, in a lovely rural setting. The kitchen, bath and studio living area are in a private apartment, surrounded by 12 acres of open fields. The kitchen is well equipped and includes all the makings for tea and coffee. And breakfast is provided - usually in the form of fresh baked goods delivered to your door!
We're close to MassMoCA and the Clark, surrounded by lots of summertime swimming holes and wintertime skiing at Berkshire East, Notchview and Stump Sprouts.
  • My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Erin's carriage house, it exceeded our expectations. As many other reviews have mentioned, the muffins that Erin left for us in the morning were delicious, what a treat! There were also english muffins, juice, and lots of breakfast basics available in the kitchen. There is a gas heater that mimics a wood stove and it felt like coming home to a warm, lit fire in the fireplace. I cannot overstate how wonderfully cozy it made the space feel, especially after a long day of skiing. There are also a lot of nice, personal touches like artwork on the walls, children's toys and books, and a note with local recommendations. The space was very clean and had everything you might need. And the bedroom space is really large! My husband and I didn't need it but there is plenty of space for 4 people. We were in the area just to stay overnight so we could ski at Berkshire East the next day; the location was beautiful and perfect for us - just a quick 20 minutes to the mountain. We had a late arrival and Erin was very accommodating with the logistics of check in for us. She was also prompt and warm in all of our communication. On the way out we met Erin's husband, Kevin, who was lovely, as well. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the space! Thanks for everything, Erin and Kevin!

  • Erin's place is perfect for a quiet stay in Western Mass. We had a lovely dinner at Homestead in Northampton and fun winter nature walks near Mount Tom and the Saw Mill Hills Conservation area. And Mass MoCA. Erin left us sweet breakfast treats and the carriage house was warm and toasty for us, along with coffee, tea, milk and juice. It was our second time staying here and it's just a lovely, quiet home base to explore from. :)

  • My stay at erin’s place was wonderful! The apartment was clean, had everything you could possibly need, and the property was absolutely beautiful! Waking up and looking out onto the field in the mornings covered in snow was amazing! This location is everything! Especially if you’re here during the winter months like I was. And the host brings you a homemade breakfast item every morning (ie muffins, granola, cinnamon rolls) can’t recommend enough if you’re staying in the area!

    Tully2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Erin's place is a beautiful, sparkling clean, restful retreat! This cozy apartment feels like a hideaway in the woods and the baked treat that Erin delivered in the morning, pumpkin muffins, was a delicious touch. I definitely recommend this place wholeheartedly!

  • I loved my stay. It’s just as described and even better. Spacious and cozy, with everything you need. The house is set in the beautiful countryside, and at night there were a million incredible stars. It’s also conveniently located to every place I needed to be. The best of both worlds. Erin is a thoughtful host and makes a great granola! Highly recommmend!

    Sara2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Erin’s place was terrific and the morning baked goods were really delicious and a kind touch! Would stay there again.

    Ken2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Although we only stayed at Erin’s apartment for one night, we really enjoyed being in this lovely, quiet, well appointed space which is in a pretty rural setting. Communication with the host was excellent and we appreciated the thoughtful home baking provided for us in the morning. We would recommend this lovely apartment to others.

  • Erin’s place is wonderful! Cozy, clean, comfortable, and every morning she leaves you a homemade treat :-). We were a family of four and were very comfortable there. We will definitely be back!

Relax in our bright, very spacious, and quiet loft, on six open acres. Lounge on the stone terrace, under the stars, by a cozy fire, near the garden. 35 min to Northampton, 35 min to MassMoca, 10 min to Berk. East. Pellet stove, Fiber Optic Wi-Fi, Fubo streaming (via Amazon Fire Stick), and cell coverage. Fully outfitted kitchen, granola, milk, beverages. Two hybrid bikes available for use. There are 3, 5-ft long skylights, and a cathedral ceiling= much natural light!
The apartment has a queen sized bed, coffee maker (with coffee provided), plenty of pots, pans and utensils, and a 39" HD TV with Fubo streaming service. There is fiber optic wifi with speeds up to 400 Mbps. The space is newly renovated with nine new windows, and new paint on the walls, ceilings, and floors. There are three, 5 foot long skylights on the slanted ceiling- one in the living room, one in the kitchen, and one in the bathroom. There are just about six acres of open field, which faces south/southwest, and a beautiful vegetable garden with stone terraces at both ends. We also built a Black Locust pergola at the south end of the garden, which sits atop a Goshen stone terrace (we just planted grapes, but they're still very short!). There is also a fire pit at one end of the garden, and an outdoor fireplace at the other end. There are flower gardens in several spots on the property. We are 100 yards from the public library, which, itself, has recently been upgraded in a major way. Our home also houses a one room post office (300 sq. feet), which is open from 12pm to 4pm, M-F, and 8:30am to 11:30am on Saturday. It's rarely busy...
Our house is centered in the Plainfield Historical district. Plainfield is a town of less than 600 people. Very nice walks and bike rides, right outside our front door! Here's a link to a blog write up (with pics) of one guest's recent stay here... http://coreylynntuckerphotography.com/2017/12/30/non-traditional-christmas-getaway-plainfield-massachusetts-airbnb/#
  • Peter’s place was a great jumping off point for cross-country skiing in the area (we were coming up from outside NYC). Cozy spot with nice touches like a warm pellet stove and good granola and milk in the refrigerator when we arrived added up to a great weekend.

    Casey2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Peter’s place was a dream come true - everything about the apartment, land, and overall area was lovely! My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend to see friends, ride mountain bikes, and visit Mass MoCA and it was conveniently located to everything. We felt right at home in this cozy space and will absolutely be back.

    Athena2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at this spot for a work trip and it was easy, clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Peter was attentive and easy to communicate with - even helped me out when I had some car trouble one morning. Thanks, Peter!

  • Very bright and cozy apartment with everything you need for cooking plus coffee, tea, granola and beverages. Great cross-country and snowshoeing trails 15 minutes away. Roads were clear of snow and ice, so no issues to get there. I will recommend this place.

    Virginia2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • High expectations will all be met!

    John2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second stay at Peter’s place, because we loved it so much the first time. It is comfortable and charming. Impeccably clean. And delightfully cozy. We loved being able to relax in front of the wood stove. We enjoyed walks in nearby conservation land. And quiet privacy to read, relax, and decompress. This is hands-down one of my favorite places ever that I’ve stayed at.

    Jeannette2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Peter’s place was charming and comfortable. He was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions. We appreciated that he provided everything we needed for breakfast, including home made muffins. And my husband was very happy with the bed pillows (which is unusual). We recommend it highly.

  • If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, then this loft is for you! The locate is remote, so stargazing is amazing here. The fireplace and the comfy couch definitely made this loft super cozy. We loved the amenities, especially the wide assortment of delicious teas and coffee. Peter even provides a list of food options around and we loved one of his suggestions, the Old Creamery.

  • Great home with ample space, super clean and well appointed. Exceeded expectations. Would recommend!

    Jessika2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This house has everything you could ever need. Full stocked for a wonderful stay with a large family. Great amenities. Molly and Perry provided all the information we needed and more. Would definitely recommend for a ski get away, but we are also hoping to come back in the summer time as well!

    Meghan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time! The house was clean, organized and ready for a beautiful stay. Hosts were the best! They provided us with endless tips and ideas about the area and the house. Our kids love staying at the house! The played outside and loved their bedrooms. We will come back for sure.

    Yehudit2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Helpful communication made first - time use of Airbnb easy, and checking in/checking out was a breeze. Great suggestions regarding local sights and amenities. Wonderful, peaceful location for nature lovers; the trail around the pond behind the house is especially beautiful.

    Katie2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Loved our stay at Molly’s house! We rented it for ourselves and our children and grandchild for a family weekend getaway. We enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen and the fire pit for after dinner somemores. Beds were comfy. The little beach down the street was great, but there are also many places to swim and hike in the area. The zip line looks fun, as do the white water rafting places. The Berkshires have a million things to do.

    Chris2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for our family getaway, with two young children. The kiddos loved playing with the toys and large children’s book collection, and our four-year-old triumphantly finished the mile hike around the pond. We made s’mores at the fire pit, relaxed in the hammock, and ate fresh berries and veggies from the garden. Responses were quick and thorough. Great stay!

    Breawna And Tom2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Molly’s place over the last three days. The house was as described, easy check-in and promo responses on any matters. The place was very spacious with enough sleeping rooms for 10 of us. They also had a lot of toys, puzzles and blocks to make our little ones busy. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We used the propane grill and it was flawless. They have so many things to get you engaged but due to kids we didn’t use ‘em all. Plus, the rafting, kayaking & zip-line was less than 10 miles which was nice. Oh! almost forgot to mention that you and pick veggies and fruits from the garden if you wish to do so. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a private and quiet getaway (provided that they have several ring and other security cameras all around the house). Bottomline, it’s worth the buck and I would definitely go again.

    Jay2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • The Plainfield house is a wonderful place to stay. This was our second time here; we previously stayed about 4 years ago. It was great to come back and see the improvements Molly and the house manager Perry have made. The lake on the property is very peaceful and we took the kayaks out on the water on several mornings. The proximity to Plainfield Pond for a swimming beach is also a plus. There are plentiful sleeping locations and this allowed our family of four to be there along with my dad and sister. One thing to be aware of, which isn’t really a negative, is the house does not have cell phone signal. There is WiFi and a house phone, but lacking cell signal does affect your communication options. Overall, we would recommend this home if you have a reason to be in the area. We will certainly be back again in a few years.

I first would want all to know that this cottage is not winterized & is shut down til June 2020. I'm ready to take reservations for next year.... The cottage is quite large. We have a large indoor porch surrounded by large windows, a table that turns into snooker or some fun poker.. Many different chairs and a couch for relaxation or loads of fun.. also a outside porch with picnic table. Large dining room table for eats or board games. Direct tv is available. washer and dryer.
This unique stucco cottage built in 1924 retains its kitch and charm from when it was purchased in the 1960s. Enjoy a relaxed vintage like atmosphere with plenty of space. The large windows and forested views from the dining area give it a secluded feel.. The yard has outdoor picnic tables and a patioed fireplace (wood included) It's a 3 minute walk or you can drive to Windsor Pond for swimming fishing etc. You will find peace here..
You will have your own space. neighbors are short distance away and fantastic people if you like to mingle.
  • Linda was an excellent host, the cottage is really beautiful and made my birthday that much brighter. I really appreciated her tips on where to find the best places to swim and the kindling and wood for the fire pit. Thanks again, Linda!

    Palace2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Linda`s house is amazing, it is huge, very special and the location is absolutely beautiful. We spent some wonderful days there, swimming in the lake, making bonfires, exploring the beautiful surroundings in the Berkshires and on Mt. Greylock and just relaxing. A very good place and a great host! Thanks!

    Kerstin2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay and Linda is over the top, with great senses of humor.

    Richard2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Good location couple minutes walk to a pond with a beach. 25 minutes to Adams. Quiet, large space. Relaxing getaway

    Chris2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great house, easy walk to the lake. Everything we needed and more

    Jennifer2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed three nights at Linda’s cottage, and after a little trouble finding the place, settled right in. The cottage is something of a 1960-1970’s time capsule, with a lot of the decor from that time. It’s a totally unique property and we had a blast staying there. A little musty when we arrived, but opening windows and putting on a fan took care of it. We swam every day in Windsor Pond and used the cottage as a home base for traveling to/from MassMOCA. Beautiful, scenic drives. Linda was incredibly hospitable, accommodating and open to feedback.

A two level loft apartment walking distance to Shelburne Falls. Private, simple, unique, cute, and efficient. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet with the notable exception of a nearby train intersection. 4-6 times in a given 24 hour period there'll be a loud train whistle. Please see Covid-19 update in "Other things to note..."
This space is most comfortable for one or two people. There is a spare bed which I will set up upon request so that a third person may be added. The Apartment has an open ceiling in the kitchen area and a winding stair leading to the living and sleeping area. The upstairs has three different levels: one exiting to the back deck, one a reading area, and the third level is the television area. (In the event that the memory foam mattress needs to be set up it will be in the TV area of the apartment.) The Queen size bed is on the floor but from the 1st level height it will feel like a normal height bed. Ceilings are low on the 2nd floor...watch your head... Kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, etc.... There are some basic food items like olive oil, butter, eggs, 1/2 and 1/2, tea, coffee, cereal/oatmeal, and so on. On the back deck you'll find a small grille and in the tree line I have steel fire ring for an evening fire (wood provided).
Shelburne Falls is a quaint town. There are several restaurants in town and easy access to museums, hiking, mountain biking, etc... There is a laundromat about a 5 minute drive from here and a natural food store the same distance (4 minute drive).
  • Justin was very thoughtful with his communication! He messaged to reassure us that everything would be extra clean amid the Corona virus outbreak. We enjoyed the tips he suggested and I even bought some of the glasses he keeps in the loft from local artists! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Rebecca

    Rebecca2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful, lovely space for 1-2 people, very clean! Very comfortable! Extra touches of organic food on the shelves and in the refrigerator. Great location - 10 min. walk to downtown.

    Beryl2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Justin’s place. We just stayed for the night, but would’ve loved to stay longer. The place is super cozy and cute, close to all the whole spots in town. Justin also provides quite a few food staples which is very generous we made a nice breakfast, and he gave some great advice. good hikes in the area!

    Kim2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I planned a two week snowboarding trip. This was our second stop, and we stayed one night. As home renovators, we loved the design and thoughtful features throughout this little apartment. Nice glassware, an assortment of teas, and coffee are available. The host was quick to respond to my messages. The only negative I would say is the incredibly tiny bathroom sink that was virtually unusable. We used the kitchen sink to brush our teeth and perform our facial hygiene. Also, there is not a washer and dryer present within the apartment (just an FYI).

    Cat2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Terrific overnight stay at Justin's place. Snug, clean, and simple. A perfect spot from which to launch our ski day.

    Janel2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing place to stay!

    Joshua2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • The space was very cute. I chose it because I liked the loft and it was exactly what I expected it to be. There was local/organic food in the kitchen area, which was a very thoughtful touch. Justin has snowshoes outside which we did not use but I thought was a cute idea. It is walkable to the downtown area. I would return here for another trip.

    Emily2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing place. Justin truly thought of everything: from food and coffee in the kitchen to extra blankets and pillows in the bedroom. Super cozy, comfy place. Thanks Justin!

  • We stayed at Christine's place for a night amidst a quick Fall getaway. This was the perfect place to lay our heads after a busy day of sightseeing around the Mt Greylock. The apartment is cozy and comfortable with lots of homey touches like warm fuzzy throw blankets and boardgames. The space was spotless, and the bed incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect for enjoying the Berkshires and Pioneer Valley, and Christine was very helpful with recommendations for sightseeing (Chesterfield Gorge was beautiful!). Would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to coming back for a longer stay!

The neighborhood is beautiful. There is an artisan cheese farmer next door with fresh raw milk and cheese for sale. The neighbors are quiet and the houses are pretty far apart so there's a lot of privacy. The best part is the Cummington Coop Creamery right down the hill from our house. Yummy organic food, deli, wine, beer, local ice cream and awesome desserts.
  • This was our second time back to Aliza’s and Ric’s and we really love this place. The land is beautiful, casita is so cozy, and Aliza and Ric are wonderful, generous hosts. We shall definitely be back.

It was comfy & toasty warm during 2 nights with frost. The carafe of hot coffee was perfect along with picking up some good eats from down the street @ The Creamery, recommended by Aliza. Even after the frost and her recommendation, I was still able to harvest some carrots & greens from her garden. The casita was clean & cozy with flannel sheets and lots of blankets. She was very quick to respond to questions I had being close by, yet the Casita still had plenty of privacy.

  • Had an amazing experience staying at this cozy trailer.

    Abhiram2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the Casita! It's in a beautiful setting and is very cozy. I love tiny houses and was just giddy on arrival. The bed was super comfy and we loved watching movies from it. We enjoyed coffee in the garden and the hot shower. The Casita is nearby several super quaint Western Mass towns. Great food, shopping, farms, beautiful vistas, etc, etc. Will be telling all my friends and hopefully returning some day!

    Rebecca2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Casita is as described small but efficient. There was a bowl of fresh cherry tomato’s upon enter the trailer. I thought there would be water in the fridge but not there. However, she brought hot water for my tea each morning. I also picked fresh basil, tomatoes, and eggplant that made a delicious dinner. The pictures are very accurate. Overall I would go back and stay. Thoughtful hosts.

    Elaine2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • First let me get this out of the way: this place is small. I’m a big guy and, if it had been any smaller it would have been uncomfortable to stay there for me. That said, the spot is beautiful, Aliza and Ric were the perfect mix of attentive and hands-off. They were there for everything I needed but not intrusive. I would certainly recommend the property to someone looking to sneak away.

  • Joan’s home is a beautifully historic home with comfort of a modern home. There is something interesting everywhere you look and there are wonderful books everywhere. The location is peaceful and quiet. I was able to navigate there easily using Waze. Joan is super friendly and I left feeling like I made a friend!

  • Rustic charm in an isolated setting. Real BNB feel. Real quiet and peaceful. Smaller stores 5 or 10 minutes away. Bigger stores are just a scenic 25 minutes away. So many nice hikes close by. Nice bike trails. You can easily fill your days doing things a half hour away.

  • Beautiful small cabin with nice views, amazing host who was always available if anything was to be needed. The place was SPOTLESS, I'm talking not even a hair anywhere to be seen. Perfect spot for a getaway into the woods of western mass, privacy and quiet surroundings. I will stay again if I am in the area again. Thanks so much Harold!

From the beautiful sunsets to the cozy evenings with tea and puzzles, it was everything we needed. We will be back again, soon!

    Maria2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect cabin for a getaway! Even way better in person. The cabin has everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen. Not too far from Berkshire East Ski Resort if you’re into winter sports. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Staying at "the camp" was a fantastic experience! Everything was clean and well maintained. The pictures do not do it justice. Harold and Diane were very easy to reach in the case of questions and left a list of recommendations in the local area. There is very little to no cell service so it was great to disconnect, however there is WiFi. The full kitchen was so convenient to make a meal in without having to leave the cabin to travel to get dinner. We can't wait to come back in the fall!

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.
There is a full sized, comfortable bed for sleeping in the cabin, as well as a table for working or having a meal. The cabin has a dry bathroom (no plumbing), there is a wash basin and container of water for handwashing and an antique composting toilet. There is also a woodstove to heat the cabin in the chilly season. The cabin is available May-Dec. Hearty, experienced winter campers may inquire about winter rentals during the ski season. Ample firewood is provided to keep the cabin warm, though the path to the cabin may be harder to navigate if there is snow.
Cummington is a beautiful, rural town; but we are just 30 min from Shelburne Falls and Northampton as well as 45min to 1hr from the many cultural offerings of Berkshire County. There are plenty of nearby forests and parks to hike, bike, swim, fish and canoe. We are 45 min from Zoar Outdoor and Berkshire East for your outdoor adventures. We are just 5 min from the Old Creamery Coop a neighborhood treasure to grab a quick meal or pick up some groceries. There is plenty to do to fill your time while in the hilltowns. We are happy to help you plan your visit.
  • Stacey and Brian were such AMAZING hosts!!! I really needed that time to get away into nature. The creative journaling class Stacey hosted was perfect. Everything was amazing, I would definitely book this space again!

    Hailey2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful stay in a tranquil spot. The cozy woodstove was just like home. Thank you!

  • A little gem in a Western, Ma backyard. Perfect for a quick getaway for some quiet time.

    Nicole2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best AirBnB experiences I’ve had. Stacey is a seasoned host and accurately describes what the experience is like. The little wood-burning stove pumps out a ton of heat for warmth and cooking. The composting toilet is easy (and fun) to use. There are a bunch of other minor details about this place that make it perfect for a relaxing weekend away; not least of which are the beautiful, quiet woods that surround the Just Be Cabin. I can’t wait to be back here.

    Ben2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great winter weekend in this cabin. It was plenty warm with the wood stove and on a nice piece of land. We had a little difficulty getting out of the snowy driveway with our prius (no snow tires) but before we even asked for help, Stacey was there with some sand to save us.

    Danielle2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Just Be cabin is a perfect place to step away from the stressors of work and life. Here you can re-discover the peacefulness of living simply and gently on the earth.

    Winn2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I had a fabulous stay in this very cute and cozy cabin! There’s no running water, but they do have a composting toilet and supply you with water jugs for drinking and washing dishes. The wood stove gave us plenty of heat to keep us warm during the chilly January nights, and we cooked all our meals on top of it (they also have a hot plate of you didn’t want to use the stove). It was basically fancy camping, glamping if you will. I would definitely recommend!

    Natasha2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was much better than expected! It was nice and warm when we got there (thanks to Stacey) and it is just the coziest and most peaceful place ever! Would definitely go there again!

While the location is a little out of the way, Joan's directions and description were extremely helpful in finding it and she was wonderfully flexible about check-in as I arrived very late in the evening. Joan was a great host and I will happily stay at her home again on future visits to the area!

  • A beautifully furnished and relaxing lodge to stay at. The internet was fast and the location was very picturesque. loved my 3 day stay here!

    Mike2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay here. The property is a beautiful, peaceful place to explore, the kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with everything I needed, and it was very comfortable (even though there's no air conditioning, I went there on a stretch of 90-degree days and it was cool inside the house). It was also close to a ton of hiking trails and within driving distance of some great towns to explore.

    Corinne2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Very unique and comfortable space. Would stay again, if in the area.

    Steve2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so awesome! Colorfully decorated and spaciousness that would be perfect for parties. The huge back yard and the river and the mountains in the background made for a beautiful, quiet peaceful place to stay. I would totally recommend it! I went to a music festival an hour away and didn’t feel like it was too long of a drive and totally worth it to be in this unique space.

    Maya2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Really cool place, never seen another house like it! Having only stayed one night, I unfortunately didn't get the chance to meet Mariam, but she was communicative and accommodating of my difficult check in time.

    Elana2019-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Mariam's place is a lot of fun! Lots of color, fun artifacts, costumes, fabrics and pictures on the walls. Mariam herself is kind and fascinating, and shared some of her homegrown herbal teas with us which was very comforting on a cold winter night. My friend and I shared a bed in the loft area. It worked fine for us although if you are looking for privacy I'd recommend one of her several rooms in the building. There was a photo shoot happening and it was fun to see the women trying on costumes and having a good time together. All quieted down at a decent hour and we were able to have quiet time and the space to ourselves at night despite our bed being situated in an open area. The kitchen is quite big and fully stocked. The building itself is very interesting and large, surrounded by nature. Recommended for artists and openminded travelers! Positive energy abound.

  • Great, lively place, quiet, but do expect seasonal/weekly celebrations. (Live music every Sunday). Bed was comfy, enough blankets, slept like a baby the entire time. :) if I ever needed anything, I just had to ask Marriam. Would definitely reccomend her.

Conveniently located close to everything the Berkshires has to offer.
This bedroom has a door leading to the backyard and three windows that provide plenty of sunlight. A washer and dryer are available on the first floor as well as a half bathroom available for your use, which can be handy if you are a couple given the bedroom includes a private bathroom. • Isla was a great host. The room and private bath were clean and was what I expected....I give her 10 stars

  • This is a second visit. This time I had the lower level which was extremely spacious and comfortable: big bed, private bathroom, good size desk, smart tv, and the ability to go right out to the back yard (way too cold to take advantage). Isla is so lovely and hospitable.

  • Isla’s place is cozy, roomy and sparkling clean. Within reach of all Berkshire’s main attraction. I stayed for few days to ski at Jimminy Peak, which is 30 min away I would recommend everyone to stay at her place!

  • Isla is a warm and wonderful person. Her AirBnb home is perfect if you have business or pleasure in the area. The room is roomy, quiet and private and super clean. We found the location to be central to many of the Berkshire towns and we enjoyed dinners and drinks in both Pittsfield and Lenox. Isla had tea waiting for us when we first arrived and she was very anxious to make us comfortable. Having a private bathroom was also a big bonus. Highly recommend and we plan to return!

  • Our third stay at Jim and Michelle’s home was wonderful. What more do we need to write? Great hosts, great home, great hospitality. We have stayed with several “super hosts”. Jim and Michelle are the best so far. AirBnB needs an additional category to classify their very best hosts. We nominate Jim and Michelle to be the first inductees.

  • Very nice to get to know such beautiful people. Beautiful property. Lovely home.

    Brian2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jim and Michelle's property was beyond our expectations. Our room was comfortable and well situated. The bed invited sleep keeping us warm and cozy. The facilities were sparkling clean. The Coffee, Croissants and Fruit every morning gave us the start we needed each day (Thurs - Mon). We loved their 4 legged family who were well behaved and loved to be scratched. The outdoor property was like a dream come true. Explore! Our hosts were welcoming and eager to please without being intrusive. Their knowledge of the area is highly reliable and welcomed. We highly recommend Jim and Michelle's AirBnB lodging and their friendly disposition.

  • If you are looking for Shangri La in the Berkshires, this is it. Beautiful home, uber comfortable with warm and charming hosts. Jim and Michelle are great! The property and surrounding countryside are lovely and it’s so quiet you cannot help but relax. A great jumping off point for so many places of interest in the area. Jim and Michelle are a wonderful resource for recommendations on both places of interest as well as restaurants. All in all a great experience.

    Patricia2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in all respects: location, amenities, hosts, attention to details. We loved it so much! Kiril

    Kiril2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • My third visit but definitely not my last! This is the most relaxing, beautiful place. Jim and Michele are perfect hosts. You won’t find a better place to just kick back and unwind! The golf course nearby is well-groomed and the chef in their restaurant is very creative! Worth a visit for sure.

    Jill2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jim and Michele welcomed and treated us like personal guests, opening up their entire beautiful home in the most sincere way. They are warm and considerate, and helpful with tips about the area. As for the location, the setting is blissfully bucolic and the major towns are not far. And if you're starved for stars, Jim will turn off the flood lights so you can see them shining so clearly and brightly in the vast unobstructed sky above the house. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

  • Pictures do not justify the actual beauty of this Airbnb house and location. The house was in sparkling clean condition and spacious. The location of this house and the surrounding nature is absolutely stunning. Kiori and Aaron are great hosts and responded quick to our special requests. We will definitely book this Airbnb again!

  • Lovely house - bigger than it looks in the pictures. Spectacular location with a view of a beautiful river out the huge windows. Furniture could be added to a little but otherwise a great place. Kiori and Aaron were very responsive. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

    Stephen2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding spot tucked away into the woods. We booked the place for a get-together, and Kiori's place was perfect for it. The place itself was nice and cozy, plus a backyard with a brook running through it. Kiori was extremely responsive whenever we had issues and kept in touch through our whole stay. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be booking again if I'm looking for a small getaway.

We had no service around this area but in a way it allowed us to connect more with nature and with the people around us. I absolutely recommend this place. Clean, safe and beautiful.

  • Wonderful stay!

    Jordann2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely the most unique Airbnb place I've stayed at. The room was very cozy and had lost of wonderful artistic touches and a good selection of books for late-night perusal. The common area was my favorite part of the lodge -- such an eclectic mixture of art, music, and spiritual themes, and an environment that fosters creative expression. And I didn't even get to stay for the Sunday night improv music!

  • Mariam’s house has lots of charm and character, and the grounds are beautiful with lots of green space to relax. It is located right on a small river. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We didn’t spend much time there except to sleep, but we could tell it was something special just from our short stay!

    Chris2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice stay here! The decor is lovely, and it's a great location. The bed is very comfortable. The water pressure on the shower is meh, but shouldn't be a game changer unless that really matters to you. We had TONS of fun at the bowling alley in town. Also had great meals at El Sotano, Gypsy Apple Bistro, and Delicatesse.

The Railroad House is a cute attached converted barn in the village center with parking, private entrance, 2 floors, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, WiFI, but no television. It is located within just a minute's walk from the famous Bridge of Flowers. Other local attractions include several dining choices from a drugstore soda shop on up to 5-star dining, as well as the country's 2nd oldest bowling alley. On weekends you can often find live music. Train goes by twice/day on average.
Check out our vinyl collection! Use the turntable to adjust the atmosphere to your heart's content.
  • This was our third or fourth stay at the railroad house. We love the quiet, the canal, the wood rooms and the trains.

    Holiday2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The train can be a distraction or an attraction. I happen to like it.

    Kasey2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Second stay and just as great!

    Cassie2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so great. We stayed here for 7 days while our bathroom was being remodeled and it was the perfect home away from home. It's really beautiful and cozy inside, with a great little sitting area by the turntable and hundreds of records. We drank wine and listened to Blondie and Merle Haggard and played board games on the rug. Everything is beautiful and cute and pleasant. The upstairs sleeping loft is so toasty warm and cozy, as is the gorgeous and clean little bathroom. The location is also excellent--you just pop down one block and you're in downtown Shelburne Falls, right by McCusker's (groceries) and all the restaurants/bars this little town has to offer. We also brought our dog and it is such a relief to know that there are cool places to stay in the area that allow pets. Anyway, I can't say enough good things about this spot--this is our second time renting it and we will definitely be doing so again!

    Marianna2020-01-20T00:00:00Z

  • Randy and Pat have a wonderful AirBNB in Shelburne Falls. It is probably my favorite place to stay, and that’s saying a lot in a town with several great AirBNBs. I would recommend Randy and Pat’s place to anyone.

    Bryce2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Pat and Randy's place was a cozy little place that was perfect for a weekend getaway. The turntable was a great experience to have and browsing the collection reminded us of bands we hadn't heard in years! The location was super ideal, less than 2 minute walk to get food, drinks and coffee! Can't wait to come back!

The Deer Hill House was built in 1832 as a post and beam Hotel. It's been an inn, a dance hall, a cafe, and is now four separate apartments under one roof. The house is located on a quiet country road with the river across the street, Deer Hill behind the house, and a large open yard. This is a sunlit, second floor, one bedroom apartment. It is cozy enough to relax, hang out and enjoy, or be home base while you go off adventuring. Dog friendly with conversation prior. instagram@deerhillhouse
The apartment comfortably sleeps two. It feels a bit "intimate" when sleeping more on an air mattress in the living room but it's doable. Very comfortable having a number of people during the day. The kitchen packs a large table, "coffee station" full size fridge and stove, microwave and toaster. Well stocked for easy meal prep. The living room is set up with a couch and comfy chair, game table with board games and relaxing atmosphere. There is a second one bedroom apartment available for airbnb on the first floor as well. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/27342018?s=51 If you feel our place would be a good fit for your dog and you would like to bring him/her along, let us know when you book. We ask that if you plan to leave your dog alone in the apartment that they are in a dog crate while your gone. (May be possible to provide one. Lets talk first) If you allow your dog on the bed and or couch please bring a clean sheet or blanket to cover them first. We love dogs here and are open to helping out in whatever way we can when available.
Our neighborhood includes the west branch of the Westfield River. Not only breath taking views but is considered by some Anglers as the best kept secret for Fly Fishing Trout. We are a little village of sorts with a scattering of homes, a parish house, beautiful small Church and stroll worthy roads. It is not uncommon after a snow storm to see people on their xcountry skis going by.
  • This was a great place to get away from it all for a long weekend. The space was cozy and warm, even though temperature dipped below 0 outside.

    Jennifer2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Christine was thoughtful and very welcoming! The rooms ( we used 2) were beautiful and so peaceful! So clean and very comfortable! Great find!

    Robin2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful, spotless, light-filled apartment in an historic building that retains its architectural features such as a central exposed brick fireplace that is visible in the main living space and bathroom, old, wide-plank wood flooring, vintage wall coverings, and high ceilings. At the same time, Christine has provided modern touches such as beautiful bed and bath linens, updated bathroom tile and fixtures, and all-natural bath products. The kitchen was well-equipped with all necessary dishes, glasses pots, pans and serving ware. The bed was very firm but comfortable (we slept well), and our tall teen found the couch to be a very comfy bed for the 3 nights we were there. Christine was extremely responsive before and during our stay. I messaged her multiple times prior to check-in and always received prompt responses. She went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed to cook multiple Thanksgiving dishes to bring to our nearby family gathering.

    Kelly2019-11-29T00:00:00Z

  • Christine's place is an absolute gem! It is in the perfect location: 30 min from Northampton and North Adams!! There is so much gorgeous nature around. The apartment itself is very cozy and well appointed. Christine was very friendly and answered all out questions immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

A review says it best; "It's like you're a visiting Garden Goddess (or God!), connecting with and blessing all the vegetables and flowers. Soft rainfall in the night made it extra refreshing and luscious. The futon bed, with sumptuous quilts and fine cotton sheets, was super comfortable. The simplicity and charm cannot be beat in my book! It's a tiny town, and I was able to walk to my dinner rendezvous, visit the bridge of flowers, and find my morning coffee and pastry, easily and joyfully!"
This is a private garden shed in my upper backyard. Meant only for those who are adventurous and enjoy rustic accommodations. Windows and curtains on 3 of 4 sides. with 2 sides getting natural ventilation if wanted. A steep stone stairway leads you to the upper garden where the Garden shed (aka G-shed) looks out on the garden and the surrounding hills and town center which is within walking distance. A full size futon bed awaits with fresh sheets and towels provided. Bathroom available in the main house on the second floor with bath/shower. Shed has views of vegetable garden, The bridge of flowers and the Deerfield River. Although no heat is provided (yet as of Aug 2016) there is an ample amount of wool and down comforters at your disposal for colder climes.
Shellburne Falls is a wonderful little village with many delicious restaurants and artisans studios. The bridge of flowers ,glacial potholes are some of The natural attractions will see here in town. We are 10 minutes from Berkshireast ski resort with mountain biking, zip lining and mountain coaster and Zoar Outdoor, Crab Apple white water rafting. We have some of the best motorcycle as well as bicycling roads in the Northeast.
  • The cabin is such an adorable place. If you want to experience the magic of New England, stay there!

    Amy2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • As other reviewers have said, this is a charming shed, very clean with a comfortable cozy bed full of quilts and an enormous down comforter. It feels like glamping. The location is very central and convenient. I enjoyed sitting on the little porch reading, journaling and enjoying the beautiful scenery. A great co-op, and wonderful restaurants in walking distance makes for a lovely stay. I will say that it is located on a main road and I found that traffic began early in the morning and the noise made it difficult for me to sleep (stayed here in summer with windows wide open). I would bring ear plugs next time...and I would stay here again as the rustic charm outweighs the traffic noise for me.

    Amy2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Second time around was just as good as the first. Having the opportunity to get to Shelburne Falls again, this was the only place that came to mind. And rightfully so. The shed was just as comfortable as I remember it being. And even with the temperatures being hot for New England standards, the combination of natural ventilation and the fan in one of the open windows helped to keep it nice and cooled it off well at night. Kelly, as always, was wonderful with communication in the leadup to and during the visit. Still very highly recommended. Shame it took me three years to get back, but I'm happy I did.

    Michael2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • You can sit on the shed's little porch at night, looking out over Shelburne Falls, and have a glass of wine while you watch the fireflies come out - something I haven't seen for awhile. It's a sweet place and the house - where you journey for the bathroom - is just lovely - with beautiful hardwood floors, a working loom in the living area and a clawfoot tub in the bathroom! Also the location can't be beat - you can walk into Shelburne Falls in minutes - or take the Bridge of Flowers route and take a little more time to absorb the beauty. Thank you Kelly!

    Susan2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is a unique spot in Shelburne Falls. A very simple place to lay your head. Kind of like camping.

    Louisa2018-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a must-stay expereince. It is right in town, but in the cabin, you feel like you are in the enchanted woods in the Berkshires. The bedding (i.e. the down comforter) was sublime. It was such a cute authentic Berkshire expereince. Now having discovered the cabin, I think I will be a regular staying there on my short vacations to the New England!

    Amy2018-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • You haven't lived until you've slept in the Garden Shed! If you're adventurous, you can't beat the price or the location. The view of the stars on a clear night is to die for and I woke up both mornings to a view over the sunflowers of mists of fog in the valley over the river. It's like camping but much more comfortable.

    Dan2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • I made a last minute request, which Kelly accepted and made ready for me. You can expect quiet and calm — most of the time! A couple trains came chugging by during the night, but that’s part of the charm of this little town.

  • The pictures do not do the area/yurt justice. The yurt has a very good energy to it and is super cozy and welcoming. We didn’t meet the host but she was very communicable through messages. The foliage and scenery around Julia’s house was breathtaking. The only recommendations I have were to explain how the sauna works a little better because it didn’t get as warm as a typical sauna. Also, a light inside or in the front of the door (to the sauna) would be nice since the headlamps were really dim and most of the fake tea light candles were dead. This place was honestly so perfect though, we used the camper for more serious bathroom business and there was fresh water for teeth brushing etc so it was really the epitome of glamping.

  • What a great experience & adventure in a beautiful setting!

    Diane2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our time here! We enjoyed the conveniences offered by the availability of the camper (working bathroom and full kitchen) while staying in the beautiful yurt. The farm is gorgeous, and Julia was friendly, communicative, and informative. The area is beautiful, and offered an abundance of recreation and sightseeing opportunities very close by. Definitely recommend this experience!

  • Great spot. Nice and cozy. Loved getting to experience both a yurt and camper for options. Will go again.

  • Julia’s farm is nestled away in the mountains and has breathtaking views. The yurt is exactly as it looks in pictures—beautifully furnished and a private retreat! Julia met us and showed us how to use the water inside of the camper and where things were. We heard coyotes howling at night and could see the stars. I would definitely recommend staying here, whether you are just passing through (like us) or you are visiting Hawley for tubing/kayaking/hiking.

    Katy2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Julia's farm was a beautiful, rustic experience. We enjoyed quiet walks in the woods, cooking at the firepit and my daughter loved the tricycle and play lawnmower. I recommend this listing to anyone looking to experience the berkshires while staying in a yurt or camper.

    Andre2019-07-28T00:00:00Z

  • Jane was a welcoming and accommodative host making our stay from out of town a really pleasant and easy experience. Her cottage is quaint and tucked away into the hillside with beautiful views of the lake and nice privacy. The kids raved about more comfortable beds than at home. A brand new bathroom and an open living room that flows through to the kitchen makes for great hanging out. Thanks for everything, Jane. Steve & Victoria

  • Wonderful views and a slice of heaven.

    Adam2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Jane's place is warm and cozy, with the most perfect location in Mass. to observe fall foliage, located just a short drive from Stockbridge and the many attractions there. Five of the ten top suggested "peak foliage routes" are located very close to Jane's cottage. And the view of the lake through Jane's picture window is perfect with morning coffee and evening wine.

  • My family and I were in need of a rental as we waited for our apartment to be ready. I messaged Jane with a super short notice request that also needed a special accommodation due to having a one year old and the space not exactly being set up for a small walker. Jane was very accommodating and communicated quickly to ensure everything went smoothly. The place was neat and clean, very spacious and the lake view every morning was gorgeous. My older children loved it and the baby liked going for walks down the long dirt road to visit the nearby animals. Would definitely recommend :)

  • This comfortable cabin served as our home base for our ladies’ weekend. The location was serene and we loved talking on the deck under a huge night sky full of stars. We met Sara the Donkey (a neighbor) and even got to feed her some carrots. The furnishings were as described and served our purposes. We will be back!!!

    Danielle2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is just as advertised, and, perhaps, even a little nicer than we anticipated. Plenty of space for four of us. Easy access to the various Berkshire activities. And so nice to wake up and see the lake each morning.

The Aery Pavilion offers "fancy camping" to those who love a beautiful natural setting--and comfort. Screened walls open high to sunrise, birdsong, and stars; bamboo shades lower to enclose a cedar & fir studio & bedroom, made cozy by a wood stove. A sweet, tiny bathroom with claw foot tub and shower are just twenty steps away in the main cottage..
Aery: characterized by lightness and insubstantiality. "Figures light and aeriform come unlooked for and melt away"- Thomas Carlyle And so it is with The Aery where cares become light and stress melts away. The Aery is a hand-crafted screened pavilion set slightly above the main cottage at Patchwork Farm Retreat. Large screens and glass panels surround the space which is (partially) protected from the elements by full-surface bamboo blinds. A glass-fronted wood stove, in the way of a campfire, warms the spirit. Two cedar, fully-railed decks with wrought iron chairs and table extend the reach of the screen room. The larger deck is perfect for musicians, yoga practitioners, bird-watchers, picnics and children. The smaller deck was honored by a lovely wedding. From the Aery's decks, cantilevered over an old stone foundation, you look southeast over lawns, gardens, terraces, towering trees and the Holyoke Range, toward the rising sun. A small refrigerator, microwave, coffee press pot and tea kettle help guests feel at home right away, as do the comfortable wicker sofa, reading chair and small zinc-topped table for eating writing or playing cards. But the most special coziness of all may be beneath flannel sheets and comforters of the heated queen airbed. For cooking meat, fish or vegetables, you will find, adjacent to the Aery, a charcoal grill and screened tent covering a colorful picnic table. You are welcome to use the sweet, tiny bathroom with its claw foot tub and hand-held shower, just twenty steps away off the kitchen of the main cottage. Sunset-orange and sky blue towels are just for you. Here's what two recent guests wrote about spending the night in the Aery: Thank you for hosting me overnight in your glorious Aery. 'Glamping' at its best with such a comfy bed, screens to keep the bugs out but letting in the soft wind and rain on the roof. Made me think of my childhood, sleeping on the screen porch where the sounds of summer nights melded with my dreams. A perfect slumber to make me ready for a new day of writing with friends. - P. Chester, VT Imagine yourself on the side of a mountain, a gorgeous view in front of you, gardens all around, large screen and glass windows on four sides in an exquisitely crafted Aery, resting in a comfy bed, or writing at the table, or lounging on the sofa, a gentle breeze, birds singing, woods surrounding you with lots of trails--what more could you ask for? And to top it off, Patricia is a delightful host. Absolutely lovely place. I would highly recommend it to anyone. R. Southwick, MA
We love the woods, rivers, and lakes, but especially we love the people in these Western MA hill towns. We are a small town, but our new public library is a place of pride and enjoyment for all. Visitors are sure to love the local Outlook Farm on Rt 66 (10 minutes), and Straw Bale Cafe (7 minutes) on North Road, as well as the historic Blacksmith Museum in the center of town, near the iconic white-spired church. Within four miles, Bread Euphoria serves delicious home-made breads, soups, sandwiches, pastries, full meals and awesome coffee--and free, unlimited WiFi. Restaurants abound in nearby Florence, Northampton and Easthampton (15 minutes).
  • Cozy and comfortable getaway in the woods of Massachusetts. All the necessities and none of the hustle and bustle. A 20 minute drive from downtown Northampton which offers a lifestyle rich in cultural, artistic, academic, and business resources.

    Dennis2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place. Exactly as advertised. Privacy is respected and the host are very helpful if you need them.

  • The Aery at Patchwork Farm is a special experience for those who like being in nature. It’s well equipped, comfortable, has nice amenities like 3 deck areas, in room small fridge, terry robes, and a beautiful bathroom just a short walk away. Over Labor Day, the screens and blinds did not keep out the chilly night air but the abundant bedding made it cozy and comfortable. The grounds are well kept, views east over the valley good, and surroundings peaceful. We really enjoyed it!

    Jennifer2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Aery is the perfect getaway. My partner and I stayed for the weekend—we wanted to spend time in Northampton and hiking around the area, but wanted to be able escape somewhere a little more secluded and quiet for the evenings. It was absolutely idyllic! Patricia is an amazingly thoughtful host and goes out of her way to make staying at the Aery easy, comfortable and enjoyable—not to mention the gorgeous surroundings. Would definitely come back!

    Hayley2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • A gem of peace in the woods. The cabin is beautifully crafted, surpassed only by the view of trees and sky through the screens that make up most of the walls. The feel of being bathed in fresh air as you sleep is heavenly, and the heated bed mat and blankets are so cozy. The main house is steps away, and I think I have never met a more inviting shower/bathroom. This place is a treasure.

    Aleeza2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I spent the weekend here and it absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. When we arrived, the Aery was lit up, had nice touches on the outside, and a great info booklet explaining everything on the property. It is a phenomenal romantic retreat for any couple looking for a peaceful spot. The area is amazing with almost 5 miles of trails and all you can hear at night is the wildlife and crickets. Waking up is great with so much natural light along with the great bed heater and wood stove making it all homey. It is three sides of screen and no window which allows a nice breeze and connection with outside.

  • Jacqueline's home is a charming place in the middle rolling hills, farmlands, and forests. It's wonderfully decorated with art, books, antique furniture pieces, plants (and more!). It was such a lovely place to stay for a weekend getaway from the city. Jacqueline not only provides a peaceful and private place to stay (I was delighted to find our own bathroom connected to our bedroom), she's a thoughtful and knowledgeable host with a great many local travel spots and wonderful stories to share. She made us a delicious breakfast in the morning over chats about books and travel and when inquired about her plants she offered a cutting of one I was interested in! Her cozy farmhouse is a gem and I would 100% recommend.

  • The house is charming and artfully decorated. The location is beautiful. And Jacqueline was a great host. Definitely recommend the place.

  • Wonderful large, old, house wonderfully furnished, out in the middle of farmlands. No wifi or tv, and cell-service can be spotty, so the perfect place to be alone with the big sky and wide pastures. You won't find a sweeter host--or one who'll whip you up a tastier breakfast (enjoyed best, perhaps, out on the large porch). About 40 minutes from MassMOCA and 20 minutes to Shelburne Falls. Not great for anyone afraid to unplug, but highly recommended to anyone else. We'll return next time we're in the area, for sure.

She and her husband were friendly and offered restaurant recommendations and local tips. Best of all, the location is more than convenient. Just a very short (beautiful) walk along the river and you have arrived at the center of everything - shops, galleries, restaurants, the Glacial Potholes. Kathy’s place is a true gem and I would love to stay there again

  • Kathy was inviting and personable. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy. Close to town, we had a great winter evening walk to grab a bit to eat. We enjoyed our overnight stay on our way through!
