Beautiful granny flat with sea views, terrace, well-equipped kitchen and en-suite bathroom for up to 4 people. Unfortunately not suitable for dogs and small children. A further 3 rooms located in the main house can be additionally booked on Airbnb, also to provide a second bathroom. Please let me know via Airbnb Messenger who will be arriving and when so I can prepare the rooms. The sofa bed is a “small double” (1.20 m wide) and therefore only suitable for one person, couples or 2 children.

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house during term time to save commuting from Jura to high school every day so expect a bit of wear and tear. There are 2 double bedrooms (one en-suite) and 2 bunk bedrooms (suitable for kids or teenagers as they’re on the small side). This home really need to be seen to be appreciated in its full entirety. Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace and watch the sun set over the Whiterocks, take romantic walks along the beach or head into Portrush (1 mile away) for a night to remember. Once you stay one or two nights you will want to come back again.
