  • Absolutely amazing place! Just as described, and Lance was super outgoing and nice, can’t wait to come stay again!

    Scott2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Such a beautiful home. Lance was very nice, polite and flexible with any requests we had. Bukowski was adorable, friendly and a great addition to the experience. The house was very clean when we got there, we had no issues and really enjoyed the entire time during this stay. I recommend this spot as a good place to get away and relax with some of the best views.

    Matthew2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lance was really nice, comfortable to be around and very helpful for what to do around Portland and other things. He even made us coffee in the morning! The views were gorgeous, especially waking up for the sunrise. If you are looking for a place to stay with a good view, and you like cats, this is the place!!

    Andres2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the place. It was such an amazing view and close to everything. Lance was super cool and a fun host. Dont forget to leave him a few beers lol.

  • This stay was great! Views are amazing! The cat was very friendly. Lance was a great host. Rain shower was awesome!

  • Lance was such a great host, super helpful as well as easy to get along with. Bukowski did steal my heart<3 This by far, is my favorite place I have stayed. I'll dream about living the dream that Lance has for a long time...his taste is impeccable, especially if you are a sucker for MidCentury Modern decor. I didn't want to leave the treehouse oasis. Thanks for everything Lance!

This wonderful, private little gem is just a few easy walking blocks from plentiful drinking, dining, dispensing, yoga & coffee spots. You will be one block from Woodlawn Park, 2 blocks from a bus and a 5 minute drive from the Alberta Shopping and Arts District. It's all so comfortably close by, but not close enough to disturb your relaxing, sweet retreat. Come have it all while living small in this tiny, artsy home away from home!
This space was built as a Model T Garage in 1926 behind a 1915 bungalow but it has had a face lift and has taken on a new life as a cozy, warm freestanding studio made mostly from reclaimed materials. A "tiny house" if you will, sweetly positioned between fruit trees and a garden sitting area. The sleeping loft comfortably sleeps two and there is a futon below the loft where one can enjoy a book while the other naps above. Occasionally you will hear the trains in the distance which adds a touch of nostalgia and you get to wake to the relaxing clucking and cooing of the neighborhood hens as this area has a nice spattering of urban farms and lots of mature trees. The table pictured here has been replaced with a "garden shed" counter that houses a small, removable basin sink. There is also a rustic, rough hewn armoire to hang clothes and tuck away your backpacks. The little kitchenette corner is stocked with utensils, a two burner cooktop, a mini fridge, a microwave, coffee and a coffee press. The studio's setup is more akin to a cabin, and as many cabins go, there is no bathroom. You will be given a key to the main house so please feel comfortable enough to come in and use the facilities. By the way, it is insulated, well heated, and stocked with plenty of blankets so it is a wonderful, warm hideaway in the fall and winter months as well. Yep, snuggly wifi too. The yard is plentiful with flowers and fruit bearing trees (figs and delicious yellow plums) in the summertime, as well as an array of veggies in the gardens where you can sit amongst the trees and regroup after a hard day at Powells Books. If you intend to bring a pet (or two) please message me BEFORE booking to confirm details and the pet fee. It's within a 5 minute walk from the heart of Woodlawn which has some fantastic spots to shop, drink, dance, and dine: -Firehouse Restaurant, somewhat romantic with good service -Woodlawn Coffee House, for plenty of people watching -Breakside Brewery, to grab a bite and catch up on the game -Grand Army Tavern, have some pork with your...pork : ) -Good Neighbor Pizza, laid back & late night too -P's & Q's Market serves yummy meals and a few grocery items -The Village Ballroom, for Square Dance and Special events -Uptown Cycles, sales and repairs -Portland Girl, spa day anyone? -Greener Grasses, well-rated dispensary -Koken Market, for almost any beer you want, snacks -Café Eleven, art, coffee, lunch & some pastries -Oregon Public House, the nation's 1st nonprofit pub -The Highwater Mark, rock pub with pool & hip hop on last Fridays -Tamale Boy, authentic & delicious with lots of outside seating -Bassato Gelato, 12 rotating flavors+bagels in the morning -HighWheel Mead, open Thurs-Sunday -(Seasonally) Woodlawn Farmer's Market at Woodlawn Triangle, Sat. 10-2 Downtown is a 15 minute drive. The Alberta Arts District is also just minutes away so you can hop on a bike and be right in the middle of the jam-packed Last Thursday Art Walk or make a day of it with shopping, dinner and some delicious ice cream from the infamous Salt & Straw. Then come "home" to your quieter retreat where you can just relax and lay in the hammock.....ahhhh. And as the area is well surrounded by beautiful, mature trees, you may decide to enjoy dinner in the love seat swing under the pergola and watch the evening sky. It is a wonderful theatre for watching small bats do their sky routine in the distance. Flying in? This spot is only 10 minutes from the airport. And while in Portland, you may want some wheels! Well, this location is very close to Zipcars and you can sign up with them or Car2go on their sites in advance of your stay. Check out Turo or Getaround to grab a vehicle to tool But if you want to explore the city on two wheels, Everybody Bike Rentals or Ebikes ( electric bike rentals) are the spots to hit first (10 min. by bus). They provide helmets and locks too! ***If you don't see the dates available on the calendar that you had hoped for or if you are traveling with more than two people, please check out my other listing (#95313) which is also a private studio at the same location. It is larger and complete with a private entry and bathroom. Just ask me! Parking is close and the livin' is pretty easy. So please get that profile completed, then contact me and come kick up your heels and stay a while! Oh! P.S. Please read the description, house rules and post a pic of you in your profile beforehand just so that everyone is on the same page. Much appreciated. Cheers!
  • This space is lovely and was great for our short stay, as we were mostly out and about and spent very little time at the house. Just a heads up, it is literally a renovated shed, so the experience is slightly rustic. Nonetheless, great for a shorty trip and has all the basic necessities.

    Merrigan2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

I have a total of five rooms, each listed separately in this unique mixed-use building where I also live and work. Your private room comes with a window, a wall-mounted flatscreen t.v., small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, free wi-fi an armoire, an ornate sink carved out of stone, down pillows, down comforters, a king-sized posturepedic mattress and zen colored walls that might just make you think you are in... New restaurants, shops, boutiques and businesses are popping up all over. Whether you are looking for a place to lay your head for the night while you get out and explore during the day, or you are just looking for a place you can hole up and relax, we've got you covered. • Very clean! Easy check in & check out! Would recommend.

  • Great host and nice accommodations. The bed was extremely comfortable with nice linen and the room had a desk for getting work done. Place was clean, quiet, and was within walking distance to cool stuff. Very thoughtful host too. I can't sleep without a fan and they were nice enough to leave one in the room for me when I asked about this. There was also a fridge and microwave in the room. Very much like a hotel. TV as well. I accidentally took the keys with me when I left and they were so nice about it! Many people will charge you, but the host was super cool and told me I could mail the keys back to him. The room also has its own temperature control, and it was quiet. I will definitely book with them again!

    Jennifer2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great little escape. Cool neighborhood. Located on busy MLK road. Single pane windows. Place itself was spotless and cozy. Restroom and shower shared with other residents. Felt super clean. Check in process smooth. Safe(ish) to walk around neighborhood at night.

Our stunning guest house has everything you need! Revel in the luxurious, lofted queen bedroom, where vaulted ceilings & large windows deliver floods of natural light. Cook a special meal over wine in the modern kitchen, or indulge in complimentary Stumptown coffee & organic cream! Walk 1 block to bustling Division St to restaurants, coffeeshops, foodcarts, & other urban adventures! Escape to the forests of Mt Tabor, just a 10-minute walk! Enjoy privacy- guesthouse is at the back of property :-)
The loft is located in our backyard in Southeast Portland. While we are only steps away if you need us, the space is very private. In fact, guests report that they forget they are in the middle of the city when they stay in our space! We live in a desirable and fun neighborhood, and parking can be tight! Guests usually find parking within a block or two of our house. At night or during busy times of the day, parking can be found within two short blocks. Guests may feel free to use our driveway for loading/unloading. We do not have a TV in the guesthouse, but offer excellent wifi access.
Our neighborhood has everything you will need, mostly within a five-minute walk! And if you want to visit a different part of the city, there is convenient public transportation around the corner. Check out excellent coffeeshops blocks away (Good Coffee and Stumptown), delicious and intimate restaurants (Bete Lukas, Tasty & Daughters, Petite Provence, Fern Kitchen), or walk up to Mt. Tabor Park. If you're into yoga, there's an awesome space (Yoga Union) around the corner.
  • Laurel and Brian's spot was a perfect little hideaway for us. There are lots of places to eat, drink, shop etc within walking distance. It's nice and clean and has several nice little touches to make it homey.

5 miles from Airport. Approx. $15 Uber or Lyft ride! Virus cleaning precautions: read description to see what measures we are taking to create a healthy stay. Cozy bedroom with warm, lively colors. This house was featured in Portlandia's 2014 season in the hilarious "Rent-It-Out," sketch! Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Portland. We have a 5 y.o. and are in and out of the house from 8am-8pm. Quiet hours are 10pm-7am and are truly quiet.
Virus cleaning precautions: staying healthy is important to us and you are included in that! We are taking extra measures to sanitize all surfaces: doorknobs, light switches, faucet handles, anything hands would touch many times/day. Additionally and always, sanitized and fresh linens are stocked including a new duvet cover for every guest. Please take advantage of Airbnb’s more lenient cancellation policy if you are sick and need to cancel. Likewise, we promise to cancel reservations if we fall ill. Thank you for your attention and care while we all work to create a clean and healthy environment for all of us. I am pleased and excited to announce that this house has been graced by none other than Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein of Portlandia for a sketch entitled "Rent-It-Out!" More Portlandia photos coming soon... Private room with Queen size bed in my home near Alberta Arts district. Surrounded by gardens and artistic works, this home is a gallery and gathering space for special events such as concerts, yoga classes, art openings and other happenings. This is the Cully neighborhood with large, sprawling lots full of gardens and mature trees and walking distance to all of the art, food and music you desire on Portland's famous Alberta Street. Near major bus lines and MAX, this town is known for it's simple and efficient public transportation. Our neighborhood has it all though: art galleries, wine bars, sake house, sushi, Thai Food, African food, Ale houses, a plethora of restaurants, music venues, parks, shopping, art and food carts, tea houses, dessert spots, bike rental, bike paths, walking paths, unique local-made clothing/jewelry, vintage second-hand store, theatre, New Season's grocery store offering conscious, organic choices, and a couple of pizza pubs and food carts. The bedroom is spacious with about 180 sq. ft, a queen size bed, other sitting options, good light, bamboo floor, and a shared restroom just a few feet away. During your stay, you may encounter private vocal or guitar lessons (you are invited to book a private session!), concerts open to the public (and you!) or an occasional facilitated public event. We’ll make sure you get a heads-up and an invite. The house has many common spaces to enjoy such as the living room, front porch and garden in the front yard. Here you can expect a peaceful, relaxing stay or getaway. The house is clean, tidy, bright and welcoming. Currently I am showing ceramics, photographs and paintings. More to come! I am a ceramic artist and have works on display. The pictured baby grand piano is used by Portland vocalist Jonathan Brinkley to teach voice lessons from time to time. His sessions are playful, inspiring, refreshing, and benefit more than just singing. He is available should you decide you'd like an impromptu lesson!
We’re close to Alberta St., NE 42nd Ave, NE Fremont and NE Killingsworth and only a few miles from Mississippi St.. Tons to do/see/eat/play and explore in our hood!

    Leslee2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer and her family were great hosts! I found her place to be super charming. The room was accommodating with just about everything I needed, and the bed was a treat. Super soft and the sheets felt like butter:) I forgot that I'd booked this room with a shared bathroom, but I honestly never had to wait to get in, so if felt more private even if it wasn't. Her home was close to everything I needed to see, and overall, I'd definitely book again if I ever return:)

In the middle of a restaurant, brewery, coffee, and Portlandia paradise! This private one bedroom apartment is located in the vibrant Hawthorne District, considered to be one of the best neighborhoods for tourists in the city! Close to everything! I am a food blogger (pizza) here in Portland, and love sharing my favorite spots in the city. See our reviews! Our guests share all you need to see before booking! :) Please inquire for dates more than 6 months out. We look forward to hosting you!
The lower apartment is fresh, clean, modern, new construction with lots of light. We welcome you as our guest(s). Enjoy a fresh cup of local coffee while sitting by the fireplace. APARTMENT: roughly 700 square feet legal Alternative Dwelling Unit (ADU) in the lower level of our 1911 Bungalow home. Spacious for solo travelers or couples, and can also accommodate up to 4 guests. The apt is under our living space, has sound mitigation, and includes its own entrance, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area. Brand new concrete floors throughout, with insulation underneath. BEDROOM: new queen bed, next to full bath, fresh sheets, blankets, luggage rack, dresser, night stands, and wall heater. BATHROOM: shower and bathtub, shampoo, soap, lotion, hair dryer, towels, and more. KITCHEN: full sink, full electric range, range hood, fridge, microwave, basic cookware, glasses/dishes/silverware, and a coffee machine. Everything is new. Perfect for long or short stays. LIVING AREA: leather Pottery Barn sleeper sofa, television, natural gas and thermostat-controlled fireplace, wifi, Chromecast (allowing you to stream from your Netflix and other Chromecast enabled accounts). The sleeper sofa folds out to a queen sized bed. SOUND: Our family of 3 lives in the unit above and though well insulated, some noise is audible between floors (not voices or music, but footsteps). We do our best to keep quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:30 AM. We also provide a white noise machine that isn't necessary for most guests, but is available. LAUNDRY: your own washer/dryer combo machine is located under the kitchen counter. PARKING: free street parking with no hourly limit. This is a big advantage versus staying downtown where there is a nightly parking fee. Generally there is ample parking supply just outside the apt. • This is a gem tucked into a safe neighborhood near Hawthorne in Portland. Blaine and Taylor are gracious hosts who communicate often to make sure you have what you need and are comfortable. The bed is amazing! It is one of the most comfortable I have slept on away from home. You will find this apartment to be efficient and set up with everything you will need. Lots of welcoming special touches. We loved our five day stay there!

    Jean2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Blaine is an extremely responsive, helpful and welcoming host. The apartment is spotless, and he provides all that is needed for a very comfortable stay. The location is great! As Blaine describes in his listing, there is some noise transfer from the upstairs to the downstairs apartment...specifically footsteps. Unfortunately, I was awakened by footsteps in the middle of the night, even though I know that folks upstairs where trying to be quiet. That said, if you are sensitive to noise, as I am, this may not be the best place for you to stay. Blaine does provide a white noise machine. My son, who slept on the pullout sofa in the living room, found these to be very helpful.

  • This Hawthorne Haven is amazing. So close to the action in Portland for food and fun. Very chic and stylish place to keep you cozy. Just a Uber or Lyft to any hotspot and the “Haven” is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Prefect place to stay if you are new to Portland! 5 stars!

    McArthur2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great space that was very clean and just as advertised. The location was perfect, parking was a non issue, and it was very quiet despite being in a densely populated area.

    Jordan2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely adore this place! My partner and I came in town for the weekend and never wanted to leave this space when it came time to follow our own itinerary. It was so clean, smelled great, is super and so freaking cute! Blaine provided great accommodations/complimentary items with the space. I love that they provided a manual for the entire place and its gadgets along with recommended places to site-see and to eat; it was very helpful and much appreciated. I hope to stay here for all my visits back to Portland if I can. I was not in a hurry to leave.

Whatever your reason may be for visiting Portland, my place is in an ideal geographical location and in close proximity to many of Portland's top destination spots. The apartment has great views of the city and overlooks the Burnside Bridge and Willamitte River. I like to keep my place clean with all the modern essentials of an apartment such as a Chemex, All-Clad cookware, linen sheets, and a fridge full of all sorts of hot sauces to name a few.
This studio apartment has exposed concrete in which a wall separates the living and bedroom space. There is a queen bed in the bedroom area and a futon couch in the living room area, which is surrounded by plants and terrariums. The kitchen is equipped with All-Clad cookware, Bodum french press, Bodum tea press, Chemex, Hario manual coffee grinder, cookbooks, and other items for your culinary needs. I have a water filter and drinks in the fridge that you are welcome to as well as a free range use of everything in the kitchen, including teas and Yerba Mate in the drawers. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment that you have access to. In the bathroom, I have available Kiehl's shampoo and face wash as well as local favorite from Portland's very own Maak Lab multi-use wet soap, which can be used on body, hand, face, and hair.
The apartment has great views of the city and overlooks the Burnside Bridge and Willamitte River. It is blocks away from Portland favorites like Olympia Provisions (best eggs benedicts), Ristretto Roasters, Water Avenue Coffee, Sizzle Pie, Le Pigeon, and Nong’s Khao Man Gai and Voodoo Donuts and Stumptown Coffee are just across the bridge.
  • Great location by Burnside bridge. Spent almost two weeks here for work, this apartment was great for productivity and convenient for walking to restaurants. Gym in building is excellent.

  • Perfect location and beautiful view.

  • I had an amazing stay at V’s place. It had a great view and the place was clean and provided a lot of amenities.

    Raul2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great studio with everything you could need as a business traveler. The building is nice and new and conveniently located to visit different parts of Portland. Would definitely recommend.

    Vicki2019-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • I had an amazing stay at V’s. The apartment is perfect for my short stay in Portland and it has everything that I needed. I was on a solo trip and was considering to stay in a hotel room as I didn’t need much space but then I found V’s apartment and glad I made the booking. Love the stylish design, the place was clean, with beautiful view of the river and perfect location. V is also very responsive and communicative, all check in and check out process were done smoothly. If you’re looking for a nice place with modern design and beautiful view of Portland and value for money, I would definitely recommend this place! A bit of downside: the noise from music playing at the skate park nearby can be a disturbance if you’re trying to sleep early as the music run late especially on weekend, as well as car’s sounds from the highway.

    Kooswardini2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and a great space for a solo traveler or a couple. Appreciated the fast WiFi, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and big screen tv. Absolutely stunning view of the river and Portland skyline, especially sunset and at night.

    William2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect building with a fabulous spa; stylish, clean and a great view of the iconic Welcome to Portland Old Town sign and Saturday Market. Location is in a great neighborhood within walking distance to all of my favorite restaurants and bars. our host was super friendly and accommodating. We will certainly stay here again if available.

Cozy, efficient, centrally located hideaway in Washington County between Portland and Beaverton. Not a hotel or motel but a secluded, quiet, nifty studio separate from the house at private residence. It is what it is No other guests. No charge for off street driveway parking. Easy to use keyless door lock. Return after a day of exploring and shopping and relax in the hot tub. Remember, Portland has no sales tax. No extra cleaning fees. Check in 3:00. Great for overflow family members.
It is a unique space, built specifically for AIRBNB hosting. Refrigerator with freezer, electric water kettle, and microwave are all provided. TV with Roku device also available. Radiant floor heat, counters and shelves are made from reclaimed wood. One single living space, no separate bedroom. Bathroom with shower. Wiped down with Oxivir TB wipes: French press, toaster, roku device, TV remote, fixtures, water kettle, handles and knobs. Bedding either washed or steamed.
Within walking distance are two Starbucks and Human Bean coffee shops, also Cascade Brewery. Jim and Patty’s Coffee People is a bit farther and not a chain. There are restaurants and fast food eateries close. The Raleigh Hills/West Slope neighborhood is a great place to walk. Lots to do in Portland and surrounding area. I have many things of interest listed in Hideaway. Twenty three miles to Dundee a wonderful grape growing and wine region.
  • My fiance and I needed some much deserved alone time and we wanted something different than a motel room especially with all the Corona virus stuff going on. Marilyn's place was exactly what we needed. We settled in and slept for a solid 12 hours. Everything was clean and neat, and one of my favorite features was the heated floor, and quiet surroundings. Very peaceful and tranquil. We left happy and energized.

    Krista2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Loved Marilyn’s place! Great place to stay!

    Emily2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • The “Hideaway” was a perfect place for our short visit to Beaverton/Portland. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we loved the heated floors. I think this is one of the cleanest sites I have stayed at. Thanks for that Marilyn!

    Kim2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • As advertised, this is a very basic space without a lot of frills, but that's what I wanted and what I expected for this trip. A few more "rules" than I am used to, but nothing inappropriate.

This spacious suite is close to World Forestry Center, Oregon Zoo, Downtown Portland and Beaverton. Our knotty pine retreat has a private entrance and view of backyard greenery. Our place is good for couples, business travelers, solo adventurers and families (with kids). We're a 10 minute walk to bus 58, which goes straight to downtown Portland. We are experienced Airbnb hosts, see our other listing, Private Cottage, Valley View, Downtown Close.
Follow the Japanese inspired stone path to the private entrance of the ground level retreat. The guest suite has it's own private bath, entrance and patio. Our home was built in the 1940's, you will hear some creaks and footsteps from above. We are sensitive to guests below, we'll keep our creaks to a minimum!
We live in an older, established and safe neighborhood, easy access to freeway, downtown Portland and Beaverton to the west.
  • Great and spacious Airbnb close to Downtown Portland. Beautiful location in safe and comfortable neighborhood

  • Super great location (20 minutes to downtown in rush hour, 10 otherwise). Wicked quiet and private. Beautiful backyard. Delightful chickens to greet you as you start your day (but worry not, light sleepers, they are seen but not heard!). Would highly recommend staying here.

  • really sweet place. cute for a couple or even friends to hang and lay low together. we were in town for a meeting in beaverton where we had to prep the night before, and it was a great little spot to hole up in with good friends. the internet and cell service are super spotty so be prepared, but we figure most people aren’t booking this place to work - it was really great for a little vacay.

This 800+sq ft suite is spacious with high ceilings, privacy, and bright light. Upon entering, there is a shared foyer, then a door to go upstairs to your private suite. The first room has a bed, tv, and pullout couch. The second room is a stove-less kitchen, then a bathroom. Coffee, convenience and grocery stores, bowling alley, and restaurants are nearby. One mile from 217 and 26. We are very pet friendly. For an extra fee, I also offer babysitting if you choose to go out child-free!
Your space may be attached to our home but it is very private! The space below you is a guest room that’s rarely used, and my 5 year old daughters room (below the kitchen space). We usually never hear anybody up there (except families with kids running around). When you walk upstairs you will see very high vaulted ceilings which makes it feel much more roomy. The room right when you walk in is a pullout couch, a bed, a recliner, and a tv that swivels for your viewing convenience. The second room is a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. There is no stove or oven. The bathroom is the very last room off of the kitchen. There are windows on three sides of your space and many guests have noted that they feel like they’re up in the trees. The only shared space is the front entry. It’s a small room with two doors. One leads to your space, the other door leads to ours. We can’t hear you come and go. We might run into you coming and going, but usually don’t see our guests. And when it rains, which it does, you'll hear the beautiful sound of raindrops on our tin roof right outside the back windows. We love where we live and we think you will too!
We are located in a beautiful, established, older, very safe neighborhood which is very convenient to Beaverton shopping, restaurants, parks, and freeways. Washington Square mall is a couple miles away. A two minute walk to the bus stop, which is not a far ride to downtown Portland! (Downtown Portland is roughly a 15 minute drive away). Starbucks, 7/11, McDonalds, Carls Jr, Jack in the Box, a Chinese restaurant, US and Chase bank, a bowling alley, nail salons, and a grocery store are all within a half mile. People are friendly and always out walking, biking, and enjoying our beautiful scenery. If you bring little ones, there's a wonderful Children's Museum just a short drive away. I can also recommend some parks/playgrounds to visit nearby.
  • This Airbnb is so cozy! The bed is extremely nice so comfortable, fell asleep right when I get in! I highly recommend staying here. Super close to downtown. We most likely will be coming back.

  • Although I didn't stay at Lauren's due to the coronavirus, she was very easy to communicate with and understanding of our decision to cancel. I'm hopeful we can get up to her area when the travel restrictions have been lifted as we were looking forward to staying in her home.

  • Lauren's place was perfect for my two girls and myself! Quiet, clean and close to the pool! Thank you Lauren!

  • Upstairs attached studio to the house, and the place has a very spacious layout. Location is right next to freeway access, and not a far drive to downtown. Also has a perk of your own parking spot, if you have a car. I would recommend this to future travelers, if they are looking for a nice private studio apartment setup.

    Joe2020-03-06T00:00:00Z

Robins’ Roost is a stylish, peaceful hideaway located in SW Portland’s West Slope neighborhood. Midway between downtown and the Silicon Forest, with easy access to freeways in all four directions. Suitable as a HQ for trips to wine country, the Coast or Mt. Hood while still convenient to the unique urban delights of Portland. Business travelers find us a private, comfortable change from standard road-warrior conformity.
The Roost is located in a distinctive NW Modernist home built in 1952 . You have a private entrance to your new studio that blends mid-century style with a nod to the special beauty of our corner of the world. A lush garden and secluded patio with waterfall are available for your enjoyment. Original art and many quality amenities take everything "up a notch".
West Slope has an early, inner suburban feel with homes built from the 19th century through today. A few restaurants are a short walk away with many more dining, shopping and entertainment offerings within 2 miles. Safe, quiet, relaxing. You're sure to see robins and a variety of other birds year round. Check our guide book for more info and suggestions.

A mix of custom artwork and weird collectables provide visual stimulation! Heavy drapery and cushy bedding make this room super comfy! The desk and closet make this room functional! Close to downtown and very relaxed atmosphere! We offer rides at pickup and departure to those without cars! 420 friendly (OUTSIDE)! We are close to ST. Vincents if you're visiting or have work there, our place is perfect! Close to Nike too.
Our place is about 4 miles West of Downtown, minutes by car, and conveniently located next to public transport and between two major highways,so it is easy to zip across the city in moments! Our space has always filled with artists, friends, family, and travelers, the walls are covered with custom artwork, the air filled with light music from across the globe and/or NPR. We are an eclectic family unit, but have separate quarters on the "residential side" of the home. We often have friends staying with us, I run a business here as well, so the space is really filled with ALL types of people! Airbnbers and residents alike share common spaces. Laundry is on the residential side so for those who need to use it, just give us a heads up, it is no extra cost! Please be aware that there may be some four legged roommates hanging out during your trip we have a kitty and doggy living here currently! There is parking in the driveway! Do not park in the street and do not block my neighbors driveway or he gets cranky!
We are a neighborhood in the West Hills close to Beaverton.

Mossy Cobbles is a romantic cottage in a wooded setting along the Fanno Creek Trail. Located 80 feet from the owners' house in an exceptional garden, the shingled cottage has a cathedral ceiling in the living room, and a wall of windows in the window seat. All windows look out onto the greenery. A short walk though the woods takes you to Garden Home Community Center as well as other shops and cafes.
An open stairway leads to the loft bedroom with a desk, dresser, books, and a cozy queen size bed. The fully furnished kitchen encourages culinary dallying. In spring, summer and fall the garden is remarkable; if it snows near Christmas, the lighted cottage is enchanting.
The cottage is next to the Fanno Creek Trail, a 4.5 mile running path that goes west and south toward Tualatin, or a short woodland walk east to Garden Home. The community center there has a soccer field, a small library, a drop-in gym and many classes. Across the street is a Starbuck's, a grocery store, a Thai restaurant, a Shari's restaurant and a dry cleaner. The new Scandinavian Cultural Center, Nordia House, is about a mile away, and includes music events and classes, art installations, movies and Broder Swedish restaurant during the day. Harmon Pool, kept at 89 degrees F, is 1.8 miles away. The SW community center, 2.5 miles away, has a 6-lane lap pool, a gym and fitness classes.
  • Perfect place to stay for work trip!

  • Very cool little hide-away at the end of a quiet street. There was a dedicated parking spot for us in the host's driveway which made parking our camper van easy. The backyard has a short forested pathway with a stream crossing and a chicken coop, which my 2-yo daughter loved to explore.

  • Mossy Cobbles is warm (radiant floor heat) inside and out (host Deborah). Wonderful base to visit numerous trails: ECOLA near Haystack Rock, Multnomah Falls, Mirror Lake trail at Government Camp, Forest Park Wildwood trail, and family in Vancouver. We were treated to beautiful coastline, temperate rain forest, and mountain snow in the space of 4 days!

  • Deborah’s cottage was cozy and charming. We liked how convenient the location was for us. She has a lovely yard surrounding the cottage with lots of matured trees, fruit and flower plants. There is a small trail behind the cottage that is just a 15 minute walk to the local supermarket and is perfect for morning walks. She is a great and thoughtful host, and very easy to talk to. We appreciated the delicious snacks and Stumped Town coffee she left for us on our first night there, especially after a long day of flying!

NOTE: Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, this listing is currently unavailable. Oregon is now subject to a Stay at Home order, and most businesses are closed. When the danger has passed & it's safe for you to stay here & enjoy all that Portland has to offer, I will update the listing description with details about this space! We look forward to hosting you in the future!
My husband is an architect and carpenter, and he lavished a lot of time and effort to make this studio space comfortable and livable for you! The room and bathroom both feature cheerful wall colors; high ceilings & tall windows; a hand-made breakfast bar with frig, electric kettle, and coffee maker; Portland & Oregon art; and other amenities. If any guests need dairy-free yogurts or creamer or gluten-free snacks & granola, please let me know ahead of time, and I'll accommodate those requests. We ask that guests make every effort to recycle as instructed in House Rules, found just inside the studio. Check the blue recycle bin & dish tub for detailed instructions on what to toss & what to recycle.
Our neighborhood is great -- a mix of old and new homes on a street that used to be the main road into Tualatin Valley from downtown Portland. Our road winds & curves which is why you'll want to park well off the pavement to protect your car. The street is thoroughly walkable if you don't mind crossing from time to time to access a safe shoulder. We know the neighbors around us and most of us have lived here for many years. The best restaurants are downtown, but there are grocery stores and a few restaurants downhill from us on Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy & a couple uphill on Skyline.

  • This space is awesome! Very cozy and I loved that it's a bit out of the city to see more of the beauty of the Portland wilderness. Coffee and relaxing in bed in the mornings, and tons of space to hang out. Just perfect!!

  • Frances’s place is such a clean and comfortable living arrangement. Whether you are here alone or with company, she really does her best to ensure a quality space. Everything is neat and organized which really helps as well. The complimentary food and beverages are such a nice touch and is useful if you need to pack something in your bag while you’re exploring Portland. Overall, this was a perfect experience and I cannot wait to visit again!

    Abhisek2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We cannot rave enough about this place. Francie’s studio is quiet, comfortable, spacious, and charming. The breakfast bar was the perfect start to each of our mornings, and we loved lounging in the space. Francie herself was also a fantastic host, providing everything from local running tips to friendly reminders to keep our car out of the neighbors’ way. We would absolutely stay here again!

    Wei2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Francie is very quick to respond to any questions and is worthy of being called a super host! She was so thoughtful to provide breakfast items that met my dietary needs and that is something very unique and special in the Airbnb world! Her space is beautiful, clean, comfortable in every aspect and close to the Sunset Highway so you can quickly get into Portland proper. Not a single negative aspect about this loft.

  • This is a very clean and perfect place to stay if you are in between Portland and Beavertown. It was a short distance to many fun and creative places to eat and enjoy and we were in town for a conference at the Nike center which was only minutes away. Barbara is excellent at giving you privacy, yet communicating thoroughly about everything necessary.

Welcome to Portland! We have a wonderful little guest house in our back yard and are excited to share it with new friends. We are located in a quiet neighborhood right next door to a park. We are only about 15 minutes from the Pearl district in downtown Portland, as well as 12 minutes to central Beaverton. We are also only 25 minutes from the airport. This is a great location to plan your adventure in PDX or around the whole PNW region!
There is a private entrance to the unit. From the front of the house, go around back thru the gate. There is an AirBNB sign by my front door that will point you the correct direction. Follow the flagstone path from the driveway. There are a few steps up to the shared patio and one more into the unit.
The neighborhood has several parks you can enjoy. There are trails, hikes, and even disc golf within just a few minute drive.
  • Very comfortable space, super friendly hosts!

    Joel & Michelle2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Clint was a great host! Very communicative and reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. We had enough space for 2 people and found it to be very quiet and private. Would stay again on a future trip to the Portland area.

    Emily2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We decided to stop in Portland to get some rest last minute and Clint was very responsive to our request the day of! The place was lovely, clean, and in a quiet location.

    Emily2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Clint’s place was simple& had everything we needed. It was ideal as it was away from downtown Portland’s commotion but still close enough to drive into within a few minutes. He had a notebook listing spots to visit& general tips. He was easily accessible& openly communicated. My BF& I agreed we’d definitely stay there again if we were to visit Portland another time. We recommend this spot for sure!

    Melissa2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was our 2nd time staying in Clint’s place and it was another wonderful stay! He’s made some renovations since our stay last year and the private unit became more spacious. We were able to meet Clint this time because he helped us out with the WiFi, which we were thankful for because we very much enjoyed our conversation with Clint! We even got to have some playtime with their sweet fury roommate, Gwen. We were in Portland for a Jiu-Jitsu tournament and during that time, one of us got injured. Clint was kind enough to provide us with an ice pack; we highly appreciated his generosity and understanding. Again, this location is very convenient but it still provided much comfort, quiet, and relaxation. We’re for sure going to stay here again when we go back to Portland and we recommend anyone to stay here as well.

    Kathleen2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

Situated in a nice west side neighborhood near buses, park, library and shopping, our home features an organic edible landscape with a grape arbor, raised beds, fruit trees - all experiments of a hungry gardener! Chickens and a dog, make it home.
Our guest room, with a shared bath, is on the main floor. The windows in this room look out on our urban farm back yard. If the weather allows and with windows are open, you might hear the pond fountain, squawks from our poultry, or some of the birds that visit our place. The view is lush but the south facing exposure brings wonderful light into the room during the day. A lovely living room with fireplace, dining area and kitchen are also on the main floor and are meant to be enjoyed. We are tidy but we do have animals. Casual and friendly is our motto.
Being blocks from a lovely park and library is the best, but when downtown calls, it is just a 10-15 minute drive away. We have easy access to the Zoo, Children's Museum and Arboretum too. Beaverton is equally close by.
  • Hospitality with host, was delightful . The breakfast was great! Enjoyed the company, we appreciate the talks .. We will be back.

  • Although we have used airbnb extensively for many years, this was our first time staying in a home with the hosts. What an awesome experience! They were very welcoming and yet afforded us privacy. M and V are amazing hosts; interesting, thoughtful, educated, humorous and kind. Their home is warm and inviting, the gardens are beautiful and the chickens full of personality. Our room looked out onto the gardens which were so pretty even on a bleak, rainy day. The bed was very comfy and the sheets so soft. Breakfast was delicious! We got to enjoy V's new crumpet recipe along with an egg dish and cherry smoked bacon..... Absolutely delish. M and V were very responsive in communicating with us before our stay and considerate of any dietary restrictions or food concerns we may have. We enjoyed our time at Urban Farm! We will definitely be repeat guests of our new airbnb friends. Thank you, M and V, for a lovely stay!!

    Ellen2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Mary and Vern literally welcome their guests into their home. They are so friendly and attentive and share their farm life generously. We loved sitting in their living room in front of the fire in the evening and in the morning sitting at the breakfast table with a meal they prepared especially with our needs in mind! A very special stay!

    Judith2019-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second time here and it was great. Vern and Mary are so warm and hospitable and their home, garden and neighborhood are so lovely and peaceful. The breakfasts are delicious and very garden to table! The rooms are so clean, comfortable and peaceful. We plan on making more trips to Portland and would love to come back. It is a great location - close enough to the city to get there easily but far enough out to feel like you are in smaller, quieter town.

    Helen2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • My stay at M and V's place exceeded all expectations and was truly my best Airbnb experience thus far. Their home is beautiful with a lovely farm in the back and very clean, welcoming, and comfortable rooms. M and V are incredibly warm and hospitable hosts and it was a pleasure staying with them. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and the breakfast that they made was amazing!!! They use eggs and products grown in their own backyard, very cool. Absolutely give my highest recommendation - if you're considering staying here you will have a wonderful time.

    Dawn2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Recommended!! Very clean and comfortable. All the details and amenities of home. Great conversation with 2 truly gifted hosts. I will be back if possible!

  • There is no doubt that M and V is the best Airbnb I've ever had. I had the best experiences both in the living environment and the interaction with hosts. Their beautiful house is located in a quiet and safe spot in Beaverton where is not far from Portland. We were surprised that we have two rooms and both of the rooms are well decorated in a lovely way. The house is clean and designed in a cozy and artistic way. I love the wild flowers they put in each room. Mary and Vern also prepared us delicious home cooking breakfast which the ingredients are mostly planted from their garden. They also provided anything you need and offer helps to make you feel that you're not only their guests but friends. I've been Portland three time and each time I love it more because of the people are so nice there. I'll definitely go back and choose M and V again. You guys are the best!

    April2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed visiting M & V. Their home is beautiful inside and out and they were wonderful hosts. If you get the chance I highly recommend trying Vern's home-smoked bacon. We hope to be back for another visit!

My place is 3 blocks from Whole Foods, Powell's books and Providence Park -where the Timbers play-. Crystal ball room, the Pearl and the Alphabet district are within 5 mins walking. Tons of restaurants, parks, bars and people watching. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the coziness, so near from everything, no need to drive, streetcar and Max are 3 blocks away. Great for couples, solo adventurers, students and business travelers. Long term stays are welcome, just ask:)
They can use everything at the apartment.
The neighborhood is in the heart of everything, you can easily walk to downtown, the pearl, alphabet districts, tons of bars, restaurants and people watching. It's located in an historic building from 1920's, used to be a hotel.
  • A nice little apartment that was almost directly next to my conference location, and at about half the price that the discounted conference hotel would have cost.

  • Daniela’s place Is wonderful! It’s a great location ~ walkable to both the Pearl District and the Alphabet District. I hardly used my car the entire time because I could walk to everything I needed. Daniela is a great communicator and a very thoughtful and kind host. • We just spent a few days here and the location was perfect. The apartment was very clean. Unique/stylish space. It’s just off a busy street, so if you’re a light sleeper keep the windows closed (we did and didn’t have any issues at all). Close to local transit and some great craft beer spots. Daniela was very helpful, with timely communication. We had a car - we used the visitors street parking permit ($4/day); it was very easy to find parking nearby the apartment. Great spot overall!

    Erin2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Daniela's place is very conveniently located in the downtown area, which made everything very walkable. Her place was also spotless and she was readily available whenever needed.

  • She was such a great host we had the best night sleep I was so comfortable that I slept in and the place was beautiful she was cleaning every time I seen her the night before so of course the place was spotless! She was such a great host, she helped me with every question. She kept us company while my husband and I were making dinner. The kitchen was so cool to walk into and she’s got a Keurig but you have to bring your own coffee. We were so exhausted from work that day so we went to bed early and we both had a great night sleep and the bedroom and bathroom was so nice the decor was tasteful

Welcome to my home! I am looking forward to hosting you during your stay in Portland. My house was build in the 60's with focus on quality materials. Wooden walls, a massive rock wall with build-in fire places, all in a beautiful forest setting. It’s a peaceful and quite place and at the same time you are very close to down-town and Beaverton. I live upstairs and your apartment is the bright, spacious daylight basement. It includes a kitchenette, dressing- and bathroom, and the bedroom.
*PLEASE NOTE* the cleaning fee is temporarily raised due to added steps in the cleaning process to make sure the space is thoroughly scrubbed and sanitized to keep you and me safe. Thank you for your understanding. I live upstairs and your studio is the bright daylight basement located in the lower half of the house. The space is very spacious yet cozy and quiet, you'll be able to watch wood peckers and squirrels chase each other out side your windows. Some nights you can hear owls and/or coyotes. It is furnished with a comfortable Queen size bed. Your studio spans 700 sqft including a private bath, private kitchen which has a hot plate, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, and all the basic amenities. In case you come with children, I can supply a foam mattress. The upstairs floor is not shared. Please respect my privacy.
My place is on a quiet street tucked away in a creek, the forest-like setting will let you forget that you are only 15 min. away from down town Portland. Portland Japanese Garden, Oregon Zoo, and Washington Park are a mere 10 min drive away. For business travelers: Nike campus, Columbia Sportswear headquarter, Tektronics are a 15 min. drive, Intel and Oracle 20 min. Travelling Nurses: Providence St. Vincent is a 5 min. drive, OHSU and Shriner's Children Hospital are a 15 min. drive, Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center is about 20 min.

Covid-19 Update: While we have always had good cleaning practices we are working extra hard to insure that our cottage is clean and disinfected between each guest. Be assured, that should you chose to travel, every door handle and knob will be wiped down! City of Portland Permit # 18-175497
The guest cottage is in a quiet neighborhood in SE Portland. High ceilings make this studio airy and bright. We think of it as a perfect hotel room without the hotel. The small galley kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower. Parking is available in the driveway, we leave it open for guests. The cottage stands on its own making it perfect for coming and going as you please. There is one queen sized bed, but we can put a twin mattress on the floor if you are traveling with a child. Washer and dryer are available in the main house with arrangement. The cottage is a non-smoking space.
This is a quiet neighborhood. The cottage is a mile from Woodstock which has good coffee, a bakery, fish market, some restaurants and grocery stores including New Seasons. It is four blocks from the Springwater Corridor bike path that leads to Sellwood and eventually the river and downtown. Reed College is 2 miles away through a nice neighborhood full of trees and interesting architecture.
  • We had such a great time. The guest cottage was perfect for us, private and quiet but the hosts were available if needed. I found this area to be my favorite part of town, even has made us give thought to moving there! Everything was so much better than we expected and we will definitely be staying again. Thank you!

It is conveniently located 2 miles from downtown Portland. It has a private bathroom and has its own private entrance. It is comfortable for one person. It has a very comfortable queen bed. It has access to a small deck that gets partial sun. Easy access to the public transportation .5 miles to the nearest bus stop.
The space includes a bedroom and a private modern minimalistic bathroom and shower. It also includes central AC with a return air duct near the bed to keep the air fresh and ventilated for a comfortable night sleep.

  • Comfortable bed and everything needed in a self-contained stylish space accessible by separate entrance to main house. Beyond the bedroom is a kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker, plus all the makings for tea/coffee and some healthy snacks. Quiet road with no noticeable traffic noise. This was very convenient for an overnight stay while working in Portland at the south waterfront.
