Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the family and got an extensive tour through the cabin together with lots of tips and information about the surrounding areas. Hej! White er en virkelig rart person. Lejligheden fremstår som allerede i beskrivelsen er sådan, at: indsamlet, rustikt og meget rart og hyggeligt. Han har ikke manglet detalje. Han har modtaget os med sobaos og mælk, hvor hun bor. Den sandhed, at der er tilpasset vores behov superbien om tidspunkter for ankomst og afrejse stadig at skulle deltage i deres arbejde har gjort alt muligt. Alt var meget rent og ryddeligt. Stedet er ideelt til afslapning, men også for vandreture, da der er om adgang til forskellige ruter med lav sværhedsgrad.

White legde een groot deel van het gebied. Het appartement is gelegen in een mooi dorp, op 700 meter van een aantal bars en restaurants. We moeten stoppen zetten als je niet goed slapen maar er zijn weinig auto's 's nachts, is het niet veel moeite. Het appartement heeft alles, zeer comfortabel bed, goed voorbereid open haard, sobaos voor het ontbijt, alles perfect! Zeer aan te bevelen.

We stayed at the apartment Mariola and Lorenzo for 10 days. We are a family with two small children. The apartment is on the top floor and has magnificent views of the area. Nights sleep with open windows and see the mountains is wonderful. The photos are exactly like what's in the ad and is very well maintained. We were comfortable with the kids in the house and Mariola and Lorenzo were very affectionate with us at all times, giving facilities for all. We think it is the apartment and the location is ideal to enjoy a short or long stay. We have really enjoyed everything and we had a great time. There are many plans to do and many things to see.

My stay in Garabandal was nothing short of magical. I felt welcomed into the community very quickly and met some outstanding people. There are a few cafes and restaurants that are quaint and cosy where you can sit and have a nice cafe or a glass of wine. Also, the scenery is breath-taking especially when you take a quick walk up to The Pines and from the balcony of the apartment itself. The apartment is newly updated and was equip with everything I needed for my stay. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well as it is a very quiet town. The apartment was clean and I felt right at home during my stay. I highly recommend everyone to come to San Sebastián de Garabandal and experience staying in this mountain village as there is something truly special about this area.

A nice apartment in a block that is less than 10 years old. We were welcomed by Isobel, who was very helpful and polite but couldn't speak any English, so communication was difficult, but Andy next door was very helpful to us. The booking was for a family of 4, but on arrival only 3 beds were available. I had to help Isobel carry an extra bed upstairs from a neighbouring flat. The flat had cobwebs and was dusty, giving the appearance that it hadn't been occupied for some time. The apartment is nice and does have good views but the outside balcony is too small to sit out on to eat - if there were any chairs to sit on! The immediate location is excellent, just outside the charming village and local walks are lovely. The downside are the local hunting dogs left in an outbuilding about 30mtrs from the front of the building. There are 2 or 3 of them and they howl and bark intermittently all day and sometimes through the night. The location is also about a 75 minute drive from Potes for all the facilities and action for the Picos de Europe but just 30 mins to the beach. If something could be done about the dogs we would return another time possibly.

Casa Palacio is a typical house of Cantabria charming, located in a small town bordering Cabezon de la Sal, in the midst of an idyllic landscape. The apartment is a separate annex to the house. The kitchen is fully equipped and full of detail (everything you need to prepare tea, coffee capsules, juices, pastries). Perfect for anyone looking to escape the heat. The house is nice and cool in summer, like all stone houses north, but is equipped with blankets and quilts to keep warm. We travel as a family with two kids. All very well, and brilliantly it located. Nearby Comillas, Oyambre Beach, reference and towns as San Vicente de la Barquera and Santillana del Mar. also recommend a visit to Cabárceno Park, about 45 km on the highway. A marvel. In short, we had a very pleasant stay in Cantabria.
