Places to stay in Ruatapu
Come stay in our beautiful heritage home. Located in the historic Kaniere suburb of Hokitika, this home is adjacent to the West Coast Wilderness Trail (one of New Zealand’s stunning great rides covering 135 scenic kilometres). Whether you want a place to relax and unwind, or merely somewhere comfortable to sleep at night after a day of adventure-seeking and exploring, this place is right for you. Nau mai ki tō tātou whare!
The inside of our home is light and modern with polished wood floors, indoor plants, and stylish furniture. We also have a multi-fuel burner and heat pump in the open plan living areas to keep us cosy and warm :)
In the vicinity is Kaniere’s Empire Hotel and Rimu’s Woodstock Hotel (great for meals, some music or a game of pool), the Kaniere Butchery, a petrol station and the Hokitika River.
  • Perfect spot in a nice little town. Very close to Hokitika Gorge. Super clean and Phoebe was very welcoming.

The cats are adorable, so friendly. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the breakfast was ample. Thanks for a great night we wish we could have stayed longer.

The studio is a light filled, self contained space, with sliding doors that spill out onto a covered decking that overlooks a watery, garden setting.
The space is really light and warm, with garden views out all the windows. A private deck to the north to relax. Large north facing windows catch plenty of sun and doors that spill out to a terrace to enjoy an evening wine or the morning coffee. Watch ducks on the pond or cattle grazing on the hill.
We live at the base of the blue spur which means great access to some of the best mountain bike tracks in Hokitika, and only a short drive to some amazing west coast locations. The coast road, Hokitika gorge, lake Kaniere. Being just outside the city limits means it's very peaceful, very quiet.
  • Tumeke place to stay e te whānau. Great place to stay family. Cosy, comfortable, quality and special.

  • This place is so beautiful, clean and cozy! We were sad we couldn't stay longer.. we felt very comfortable in the nicely furnished little house and enjoyed the beautiful porch with amazing garden view. Quiet as well. Marty and Amanda were friendly and gave us some great advice. We absolutely recommend Marty and Amanda's place.

    Fabio2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Marty & Amanda’s place was perfect for our stay in Hokitika. The apartment has everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. We couldn’t recommend this stay enough. Thank you!

    Paula2020-02-25T00:00:00Z

    Daniel2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect place to stay while visiting Hokitika. Out of town but close to everything. A beautiful outlook over the creek. The space is really comfortable and roomy enough, we were just two people, to spend time in if it’s rainy or you’re knackered from the day’s activities. We stayed 5 days and had everything we needed. We based ourselves here to do the Wilderness trail and that worked out perfectly. The trail is a couple of minutes down the road. You can easily see a lot of the Coast from here. After talking to Marty and Amanda you realise there is plenty of lesser known stuff to do which could have kept us busy for another week. Highly recommended.

    Joanne2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Wish we could have spent more time here. It was so nice to be able to sit and relax on the private deck, with the sound of the stream and the chickens clucking, and still be close to town and the gorge! Really great space!

  • Kirsty’s tiny house on the farm is one of the most beautiful & unique spots I’ve ever been able to spend a night. Like total glamping. I watched a stunning sunset and ate & read outdoors and slept soundly through a rainstorm. Absolutely worth a stay.

    Sanjena2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was a brilliant place to stay! Great communication at short notice; a lovely clean and welcoming hut; well-equipped with thoughtful touches about what visitors might need. Highly recommended, and wish we could have stayed longer.

  • Kristy's place at Rimu was awesome. She was there to greet us and our stay was super relaxing and fun. She had great tips for us and provided us with wonderful breakfast options. We especially enjoyed meeting all the farm animals. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Hokitika area. You won't regret it.

  • Great little BnB, we loved it, very cosy and warm.

    Carol2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • It was a perfect time at this amazing hut.

    Simon2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place has been one of our highlights on our trip around the South Island. It's quirky, fun and we have never stayed anywhere like it before! When we arrived Kirsty and Graham were both very welcoming and gave us lots of tips about where to go in the local area and told us the names of all their lovely farm animals - we loved both their pigs Petunia and Marigold! The experience itself was like 5* glamping, as the washing and cooking facilities, toilet and shower are outside but the hut itself has 2 huge comfortable beds. Both the shower and toilet are well maintained with lots of thoughtful and quirky touches - we loved the little spy hole in the shower so you can admire the sheep whilst showering! We also had our own little private garden with two comfortable seats which we gladly used to relax and enjoy the sun and some tasty wine. The hut itself was perfect for us as a couple and the continental breakfast they provided was absolutely delicious! As soon as we arrived we had wished that we had booked to stay for longer. Thanks for a short but wonderful stay!

    Naomi2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely location and hosts. Love the out door amenities and the pigs.

  • If you’re considering booking a place in Hokitika, this cottage is the perfect place. Comfortable, quiet, stylishly self-contained, plus it also has the added value of a good shower 👌

    Kathryn2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The place looks and feels brand new! We were simply amazed when we arrived at the cottage and had a very comfortable stay, great value!

  • Well equipped tiny home just outside Hokitika. Brand new, stylish and modern space with all you need. There is a full kitchen so perfect for cooking if you plan to do so. Really comfy bed and in a quiet area. You do need a car to access this accomodation. It was raining the entire time we were here so the space was ideal and the netflix was appreciated also! If you are in Hokitika I recommend ‘Gatherer’ wholefoods cafe for healthy food and delicious coffee!

A lovely rural retreat to relax in, surrounded by native plants and birds. Very private, your only neighbours will be cows and chickens! It is only 3kms in to the heart of Hokitika and our house, should you need us is very close but hidden in the trees. A delightful clean and bright home with lots of sun and space to enjoy. The house is surrounded by decking, so there are many spots to sit and contemplate or read a good book. On a wet day snuggle up in front of the fire with a movie.
There is lots to do in Hokitika and this is in a great location to access walks, visit the beach, be stunned by the Hokitika Gorge, Lake Kaniere, Lake Mahinapua or enjoy Hokitika's Cool Little Town with great cafes, cinema, museum and relive memories or associations with 'The Luminaries'. Just 300 metres walk to an award wining restaurant.Great base for biking or walking.
On the outskirts of Hokitika but a very short car ride into town or many other places of interest.
  • We enjoyed the cottage so much. The fresh milk, PB/J and bread was a perfect touch. Wish we would have stayed longer. It was nice to see the the sheep and the cows!

  • Jenny’s place was a welcome haven at the end of a great day of hiking. The place has a delightful rustic lodge feel and is cheery and inviting.

  • Very Nice stay even without a “Sea View “ 👍🏿

    cary2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable cabin set in a lush, tranquil oasis. We loved waking up every morning to the gorgeous nature views. The cabin has everything you might need, and it’s clear Jenny has outstanding attention to detail. So many thoughtful touches throughout. She also left us some breakfast essentials and treats, which we appreciated. We were traveling with a baby and 3yo, and Jenny went out of her way to rent a high chair for us and install a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs. She also arranged for my son to have a visit with her pet cows, which made his day. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

    Andrea2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the privacy and charm of this hillside haven! It made for a lovely stop on our honeymoon adventure across the South Island, and a great base from which to explore the area around Hokitika for a couple of days. Jenny is an incredibly thoughtful and helpful host - we were so grateful for her kindness and hospitality.

  • Hannah and Thomas are way beyond superhosts, our whole stay was a fantastic example of what AirBnB is all about at its very best. Everything about the location was faultless and the real highlight was the farm tour walkabout in the Rye grass with Thomas which we unreservedly recommend to any visitor to really understand how advanced the New Zealand Diary sector really is, no subsidies here just a decent hardworking family making awesome product. Cannot recommend highly enough!

  • Do yourself a favour and stay at the Lyndale Farm , it was great ! From the farm tour to the spotlessly clean room and the fresh milk and yummy breakfast . We could not fault a thing , thanks so much to Tom and Hannah and kids for making us feel welcome . Ps the dogs were cute too !!

    Lisa2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Hannah and Tom, along with their two amazing kids host the most amazing farm stay experience! This is a true highlight of our holiday, the farm tour was so informative and the special touches for breakfast were fantastic. Our 14month old daughter loved her time here! We highly recommend coming to stay here.

  • Very friendly hosts, clean and pretty cottage, the best bed and great breakfast. Close to the town, but surrounded by beautiful farmland. Perfect stay

    Janneke2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • If you are traveling through, you must spend some time with Thomas and Hannah. Thomas gave us a tour of their farm and answered all of our questions with knowledge and good humor. Their place is immaculate and the homemade breakfast was unforgettable. From the homemade bread and milk to the delicious jams, it was a great way to start our day. BTW Thomas recommended The Woodstock for supper and it was awesome. Please visit them soon. They rock.

  • this stay was by far the best airb&b acommodation we ever stayed during our 2 months roadtrip. they do everything possible to make us feel welcomed and i definitely felt the heart. some of the airbs don't host us with heart which we can sence but they are very kind, caring and good people. you definitely have to stay in their beautiful place if you can stay in this area.

    Soyoka2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay with Thomas and Hannah. The facilities where great, fantastic breakfast but best of all the farm tour. We loved Thomas and Hannah’s enthusiasm for the life they lead. It’s not easy farming but they seem to embrace it. A highlight of our trip, a delightful young couple, fantastic hospitality.

    Kaye2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • I dunt have any word to describe. It was my one of the best and pleasant stay. I love the place, cleanliness Location, weather, hosting, farm. And on top of that a very warm and best host. It was simply best. The best thing, they have somehow given us some quality time from their very busy schedule. Hats off Thomas and Hannah the way you guys are handling everything. • Fantastic location, amazing set up with the glmaping tent right in the bush. Kim went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable, had set up extra little touches of home grown fruit and flowers. The outdoor bath is perfectly set up to relax with trees surrounding, birds flying above and stars all around when taking a midnight bath. Loved all the walks through the property and feeding the animals.

    Chelsea2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • For the able bodied traveler that is looking for a unique experience this is for you . We had appalling weather , nevertheless stayed dry and comfortable . Sitting in a hot bath in the bush with an umbrella is something I’ll remember for a long time ! I’d like to say it was a Robinson Crusoe experience but with a bed , pillows that comfortable ( my Fitbit says I had the best 2 sleeps in 6 months !!) I’d be lying . Everything you need . Kim quietly friendly , interesting and helpful . Loved the little homemade touches . Very cool.

    Deb2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Stay here - you won't regret it! We had only one night at Kim's place and wish we had booked longer. A very stylish and cosy tent/hut in the native bush, very private and peaceful, with all the amenities and extra touches you could wish for, including a luxurious hot bath to soak in amongst the punga and kereru. Kim was so kind and welcoming, bringing us freshly baked scones on arrival, and a bottle of bubbles as we were celebrating my partner's birthday. Bed was extremely comfortable and warm, there are three sitting areas, a separate toilet, an outdoor bath and shower, a very well equipped outdoor kitchen, very good breakfast (including home made bread and freshly laid eggs), and plenty of native birds and pet ducks roaming nearby to keep you entertained. We will definitely be back!

  • Brett's place was very clean. Upon arrival Brett met my buddy and myself and showed us his place. Everything was as expected except the 2nd bed was just a mattress on the floor. This was not a big deal to my buddy and me as we only planned on staying 1 night (we flipped a coin for the nice bed). Brett offered a wealth of knowledge on places to eat and check out along the route that we were traveling. Thanks again for the place to stay!

  • What a wonder time we had at Sherri and Pablo’s place! From the warm welcome by the whole family, the fantastic sunset, the lovely fire in the fire pit, to all the little touches … everything was wonderful and well thought out. Thank you for a great stay :))

  • An adorable little place to stay. It is very private and a fun glorified camping experience. We loved this family!

  • My parter and I had an amazing stay! Sherrie and Pablo were so kind, very accommodating and fast to reply to our messages. The pod was very clean, the shower was just like and inside shower nice and hot. Everything we needed from pots, pans, cutlery , soap, shampoo, bedding, power pack and lighting. We enjoyed lighting our fire and roasting marshmallows while looking at the stunning views of the river. This place is stunning and more than what we expected!

    Awatea2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed a relaxing night in the pod which has a wonderful view and is decorated beautifully, the bed was extremely cosy and the water in the outdoor shower was lovely and hot too. It feels much bigger inside than it looks and we definately recommend staying here!

    Mary2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sherri, Pablo, Daisy the Dog and their family were such awesome hosts, greeting us at the gate and helping us to our riverside camping pod. The pod was situated in a secluded part of the property that offered a natural and romantic vibe. The amenities were in abundance and we loved the outdoor shower. The pod itself was clean and fresh. The bed was super comfy and I am 6 foot 4" and felt very spacious. We woke up to the sound of bird song in the bush surrounding us. The cherry on the cake was sharing a drink next to a roaring fire pit while the river flowed past. We can't wait to visit again.

  • Karen’s place is wonderful. Great location and a private beach!

    Jerry2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • This studio is so amazing! The inside is beautiful and comfortable, with everything you’d need. The view is amazing, it was perfectly warm and sunny when I was there. I wasn’t sure what to expect of the beach but the access is easy and I only ever saw one other person while I was there. The beach pebbles are awesome, I stayed for hours looking at them. I also got to watch a storm come in the next morning over the ocean, it was so cool! Would absolutely stay again for much longer next time :)

    Nadine2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in this delightful modern comfy home! There was the added bonuses of a very easy walk to the deserted Mananui beach, great views to the southern Alps, and the morning visit of the horse.

    Jiwon2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Karen’s place is like a deep relaxing exhale. It’s just out of town, so you feel like you’re getting back to nature. You can walk down to a beautiful secluded beach and watch the sunset. The space is new, stylish, and super clean. The shower is awesome and there is an equipped studio kitchen. Karen is friendly, open and helpful. We only stayed one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer.

    Anya2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful studio very well equiped. A couple minutes walk to a wonderful beach and a short drive to Hokitika. All was perfect.

    Corine2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing place to stay. The view is unbelievable and the location is ideal for journeying into the Abel Tasman (although there's plenty more to see in the area). Karen gave some great recommendations and it was a pleasure to meet her. You should note that the space is quite small but it does the job and has everything you need.

    Jason2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Book here! It’s a fab place with an excellent view and easy access to the beach, Hokitika, and various bush walks. Karen (& her pets) are lovely and super helpful. Definitely head to the beach to watch the sunset too (rug up)!

Nestled in beautiful West Coast native bush. So much more than just a place to sleep - toast marshmallows around your own private fire, grab a bike and ride the West Coast Wilderness trail, kayak on our little lake! The Nest is a stand alone fully self contained unit with outdoor bath and shower. Set on 15 acres of private land, own lake, historic water race, and the Kaniere River are on your doorstep. Live like a local for a little while.
The Nest at Hurunui Jacks is a cosy little haven. It is situated close, but separate to the house. We promise to leave you in complete peace. There is no cell phone coverage, but we do provide free wi-fi. The bath and shower are on the outside of the Nest, uncovered, on the deck. The water for the bath and shower is heated. It is private. It is important to make sure you are comfortable with this before you book. There is of course a separate toilet and hand basin inside. Also included will be everything you need to prepare your own light continental breakfast as well as plunger coffee freshly roasted on the property. We have a coffee roastery on the property, and roast a few times a week and you may be able to smell this from The Nest. You're more than welcome to come and watch Wendy roast. The West Coast Wilderness Trail (part of the New Zealand wide cycle trail initiative) runs through our property. We have two bikes and helmets that you're welcome to use if you want to explore. We also have two kayaks and life jackets you can use to have a spin around our lake. Come ‘home’ and have your own private fire pit near the pond at the end of the evening. Marshmallows provided! Feel free to explore the property, surrounded by National Park and Dept. of Conservation land, take a walk through the native bush and down to the river, just breathe in the peace of it all. We have a few friendly resident birds who may come and visit you in the Nest, a duck called Daisy, a little Weka family, and some Pukeko. You're also likely to see Robins, Bell birds tom tits, tuis and swallows. The Nest has a kitchen so you can cook your own food. There's a hotplate and microwave, and we provide a saucepan and frying pan, and some olive oil and salt and pepper. We have a BBQ grill available on request. Once you leave Hokitika there's nowhere to buy groceries so we recommend you stock up when you're in town! We are approx. 12km inland from Hokitika, and 5km from stunning Lake Kaniere. Perfect afternoon/day trip from Hurunui Jacks include the amazing Dorothy Falls, and the breathtaking Hokitika Gorge. Then cruise into Hokitika, have fish and chips or pizza by the beach maybe, go driftwood hunting, check out the arty shops. You cannot avoid sandflies anywhere on the West Coast, but we have citronella candles for outside and bug spray if you're worried about them, and even some mosquito jackets. If you want something more natural, some people recommend taking B1 vitamins for a few weeks.
The Nest is situated in a peaceful rural environment just 12kms from Hokitika. It is close to Lake Kaniere, Dorothy Falls and the stunning Hokitika Gorge. At Kaniere, about 8km towards town, there is a local garage/gas station, a butchers and a good local pub (they do a great Sunday roast). Other than that all amenities/shops/supermarket etc. are in Hokitika.
  • We stayed two nights at Nest, it was one of the highlights of our trip...a fantastic place, a holiday all by itself...cosy, homely and very private with everything you need...games, books, CD’s, a fridge full of breakfast goodies. Having an outdoor bath under the stars and toasting marshmallows over the fire was a very special extra touch. As if this wasn’t enough Wendy and Fletch were amazing hosts and bent over backwards to make use feel at home: fresh bread on the doorstep, fresh coffee. The grounds are serene and the cycle trail is right on the doorstep. We didn’t want to leave and could happily have stayed there longer. Never mind passing through Hokitika, stay at the Nest for a few days!

  • Great place (the lake, the bush, the cosy accommodation, the fire place...), great hosts (friendly, available, ...) and greatest coffee in the world!!

    Kenneth2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most amazing stay here! Went for a stroll to the river, fed the eels, ran a bath on the deck among fairy lights, toasted marshmallows on the fire by the lake and enjoyed a nice bbq breakfast with the freshly baked bread left at our door ☺️ it was one of our favourite places to stay on our road trip of the South Island!! Thanks so much!

    Mel2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place was absolutely adorable. Exactly as described and has everything that you need. Even woke up to loaf of bread outside for us to have :) Would definitely recommend this cute little spot. We were only there for one night and wish it was for a longer stay.

Our bus is perfect for those wanting something a little different. It's a cosy, warm space with a private outdoor dining area. The bus is a grand old 1970 Ford. Cosy bus has a queen size bed and two single beds. There is a toilet and shower cubicle inside the bus. The bus has a full kitchen with microwave and all basic cutlery and kitchen items. Cosy bus is a 20 minute walk to town or 2 minute drive. We are on the way to the Hokitika Gorge and Lake Kaniere.
The bus is 11.5m long. It can comfortably sleep 4. 2 people in the queen bed and 2 in two singles. The kitchen and 2 singles are in the same space along with a small dining table. The queen bed is separated by the rest of the bus by a curtain. There is a separate toilet cubicle with foot pump flusher. On the opposite side is a stainless steel shower cubicle.
  • I spent 2 days on the cosy bus and enjoyed it very much as an alternative to the usual AirBnB offerings. Raylene was there to welcome me and show me the bus on my arrival and even provided me with some home grown tomatoes and cucumber. The accommodation is also close to Hokitika by car or by a 30 minute walk if you fancy some exercise. Supermarkets nearby for supplies and Hokitika has great cafés and restaurants. Thanks again, Raylene!

  • We stayed only one night but would have been perfect for multiple nights. Great kitchen set up, nice couch for relaxing inside, and a patio and chairs in the back to relax outside. Perfect location; quick 2 min walk to the beach down the street, and can easily walk in to town. Though there is no air conditioning, there is a Dyson heat/cool fan which did the trick at night. After travelling for a while it was perfect to be in a place with a homey feel.

    Lauren2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Hayley's apartment flat is prefect! It is so clean and warm. Very new and comfortable for a small family like us. We went to Hokitika because we want to see the glowworms. This location is perfect!!! only less than 2 mins walk ( you only need to cross a road to get to the glowworm dell). Halley's mom is very nice and very helpful too!

    Jeanette2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Hayley's place was clean, very modern and beautiful to look at. The location right next to the glow worm dell is a big plus, it's a great place to see them, and it's also an easy walk to the beach with all of the beautiful rocks and driftwood and art. If you're going to spend any time in Hokitika, you can't do any better than staying here. Note if you want to visit the glow worms, take a look before it gets dark, when it's dark you can't really see the area and it helps to see the contrast after it gets dark and the glow worms do their thing.

  • Located offshoot of the Hokitika city, the Kaniere Empire Hotel is a great place to stay and relax. It is a 7 rooms, 2 toilets and 2 showers. The place was squeaky clean and Grant was a delightful host. Grant even helped me with my bike by finding a safe location to accommodate the bike during the period of my stay. The check-in and check-out process has never been this convenient. Kudos for that. The place also has a kitchen and living room with cable privileges. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar which is good. Overall, I had a lovely experience staying at the Kaniere Empire Hotel. I'll definitely consider staying here again.

  • This is a really cool Airbnb! It’s a hotel situated outside of the town proper, and it’s basically a community gathering hall. The rooms are upstairs and they stay quiet at night, no issues. The bed was fantastically comfortable, and after many nights of questionable traveling beds, that was particularly welcomed. On the whole I had a very positive experience here, it would be a great spot for a night over if you’re coming up the west coast.

Our place is 20 minutes drive from Hokitika on the road to the Scenic Hokitika Gorge (10 minutes drive further up the valley). You’ll love our place because of the mountain views and picturesque surroundings. Our place is good for couples and families (with children). Home to one old resident cat named 'Tinkers'.
The cottage is warm, comfortable and cozy with all the modern amenities. For the keen fisherman there is a well regarding trout fishing creek just across the road.
  • Lyndale was a lovely house, nice and spacious for a 2bed house, Adrienne was easy to contact and the house was super clean with all the necessities that we needed for our stay including some toys and books for our toddler which he loved. The location was rural and nice and quiet but only a 15min drive to hokitika so nice and close to explore that area of the west coast.

  • Lyndale Farmhouse was a good size for our family of 5. Everything we needed was provided, and was clean and comfortable. Big windows give plenty of light. Our youngest adored the resident cat, who was fond of settling on our laps the evenings. The outlook onto surrounding farmland in serene. We liked being a bit out of town so that our children could make some noise with only the cows to hear them. Board games were provided; we got into the Monopoly. Overall, this was perfect for us.

  • Great place in immaculate conditions. Thanks for letting us use it.

  • I highly recommend this beautiful little farm house. It is only about 15 minutes from the town center and also 15 minutes from the Hokitiko Gorge. The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed and wanted. I especially loved the views from the windows. Looking out the front window were the mountains which stood behind a picturesque field of cows. And out the back windows was a perfect view of the sunset. The interior of the house was decorated nicely and had a comfortable amount of room. Everything was perfect!

    Bridget2019-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • We used Lyndale as a base for our holiday and had 4 nights there. It is warm, comfortable and relaxing. Very high standard of linen, towels, furnishings and appliances. Plenty of hot water and wireless is good. There was no cellphone reception while we were there. During our visit there was an old cat there: Tinkerbell. He can be entertaining and seeks a bit of attention at times but was easy to live around while we were there. Remember you are out in a farm area, there is no corner diary or supermarket nearby; so make sure you allow for that in planning your stay. Communication with Adrienne and her attention to detail and welcoming touches were great. Get your kids to count the number of cow ornaments/items hiding away there. We would have no hesitation in staying there again.

  • Adrienne’s place was fantastic. It was a wonderful quiet getaway with lots of personal touches and modern amenities. We loved the fresh milk that was in the fridge for us and the place was really clean. I would recommend this place to anyone.

  • Nice and cozy house equipped with everything you need

    Irene2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful two days and nights at this well-maintained cottage. We loved the fact that it was around the corner from the former Ross gold mines and trails, and while we didn't find any gold in hills or stream, we did enjoy the hike. The Empire Hotel across the street is a must visit for the cold beer, the amazing seafood chowder, and its historic charm. Great location to access the glaciers (one hour away) and Hokitika is about a 20 minute drive where we grabbed dinner and enjoyed a walk along the beach.
