We had a beautiful stay in the cottage of Barbara and Stanislaw. A great place for children with all the kids stuff! Everything was ready for us when we arrived, it was a very clean and nice house. The terrace outdoor was great and we enjoyed the open fireplace in the garden. It was all provided in the kitchen, bathroom and the bedrooms. We visited Astrid Lingrens Värld, Katthult and the nearby area all was very close to the cottage. Highly recommended! Stefanie and Family

The cottage is perfect for families, and is in a very authentic Swedish style. There is plenty of toys, and equipment for kids. The is a big garden, and you can make bonfire, and enjoy the big terrace. A really nice place to stay if you are visiting Vimmerby for a trip to Astrid Lingrens world. It's a little downside, that the cottage is next to a quite big road with heavy traffic. But apart from that, it's a nice palace:).

A perfect place to relax and unwind in beautiful Smaland. So many things to do see in the local area. I highly recommend checking out the Kvilleken and walking around the amazing Norra Kvill national park. The cottage is comfy and cosy with lots of modern conveniences. Barbara and Stan are great hosts. Highly recommended.

The house and garden is beautiful, very clean and we had a very nice stay with our 3 children. The children liked the toys a lot. We we're not too lucky with the weather, lots and lots of rain but the house is very convenient. We would definitely like to come back some time! Thanks a lot for staying in your nice house.

This cottage is perfect for a relaxing holiday to calm down. It is surrounded by nature, but there are many things to do: Several lakes, walking trails and the great garden with direct access to the lake. Also Vimmerby is close by and has many attractions to discover Astrid Lindgren, her life and her stories. The house has everything we needed ans Martin and his family are great hosts (even if we didn't meet them). We were pretty sad that we had to leave after one week and hope we will come back one day. Thank you for everything!

Excellent! All was just wonderful! The cottage is cozy new and clean! Just a peaceful relaxing atmosphere! The nature outstanding! So close to all adventures for family! The host is friendly and very helpful! We wished to stay longer! Nothing to complain! A place to come back!

A delightful house in an ideal location and lovely people we really were overwhelmed by the beauty of the place. The only sadness for us was we didn't have longer there. The house is very clean, nice layout and great facilities considering we are in the middle of the woods. We were a small family of 3 and had a magical time in the woods around the house, walking around the lake, it felt like a proper escape. Thank you

This place is perfect and magic. We unfortunately only stayed two nights. Martin is a great host. The cottage is lovely and cosy, very clean and decorated with love. The surrounding is just spectacular. You feel like in the middle of a big forest but you are still quite close to everything. And there is this beautiful lake just a minute from the cottage. High recommendable.

Martin and his wife are really nice hosts! They are helpful and if needed they can give some advise what to do or see. The wunderful cottage is very clean and nicely decorated!

Das Häuschen ist ausgesprochen schön gelegen, reizend eingerichtet, mit Blümchen auf dem Tisch zur Begrüßung und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Martin kam bei unserer Ankunft um uns zu begrüßen und alles wichtige betreffend Haus, Garten und Umgebung zu erklären. Wir haben die Ruhe und die Natur sehr genossen. Eine Vielzahl von Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Für uns als 4 köpfige Familie mit zwei Kindern, 15 und 12 Jahre, war es ein wunderbarer Abschluss unserer Schwedenreise. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in vimmerby and the accommodation was a big part of it. Nils's place is spacious, clean with antique feel to it. The garden was well taken care of and is nice to enjoy the evening sun. Although we have not met Nils in person, communication was smooth and we got all info we needed on time. I warmly recommend Nils place to any one who wishes to visit vimmerby and the surrounding.

Nils is an excellent host! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nils's wonderful house with a lot of amazing facilities,especially for our three children!everything we needed to feel at home was provided and Nils offered excellent advice about Astrid Lindgrens world. The location is also great,just a short walk to pippi theam park.we would highly recommend Nils's house to all of you and hope we can return next year!

We had a great stay in Nils and Marias lovely house. It is spacey, cosey and extreemly well equipped. We particular enjoyed the terrasse late afternoons coming home after a long day in ALV or Vimmerby and having a barbecue there in the evening. There is a lot of entertainment and gadgets in the house, which especially 10-years old Zac enjoyed. The communication before and after arrival was easy and accurate. We enjoyed our stay in Vimmerby and can highly recommend to stay at Nils' family home. Nils and Maria made us feel very welcome in their spacious home by leaving thorough instructions on everything. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Astrid Lindgrens World is within easy walking distance, and our children (6 and 8) enjoyed using the trampoline, the upstairs playroom and the nearby playground.

Trevligt boende nära Astrid Lindgrens värld. Familjen var generös att låta oss låna leksaker och studsmatta m.m. Mycket uppskattat av de små i vår familj. Bra kontakt med värden och mycket bra information fick vi om allt praktiskt. Kan varmt rekommendera detta boende, speciellt för barnfamiljer.

Vi boede fire dage i Nils og Marias dejlige hus og vi vil varmt anbefale det til andre! Vi var to voksne og to børn på 5 år og 10 måneder og der var alle bekvemmeligeheder man kunne ønske sig i huset. Desuden er beliggenheden ift Astrid Lindgrens Verden som beskrevet rigtig god. Vilma på 5 år nød alt legetøjet og sove på eget værelse i sejt spidermansengetøj. Vi voksne nød at sidde på verandaen på de dejlige varme sommeraftener. Huset er kæmpe stort og med fire soveværelser savnede vi ikke plads! Køkkenet super og fuld af udstyr inkl mikroovn, fuldautomatisk kaffemaskine og hyggelig køkkenø/bar. Så hyggeligt! Vi kommer gerne igen! De bedste hilsner, Jais, Marie, Vilma og Anton

Perfekt boende för barnfamiljer bara en kort promenad från ALV. Gott om plats och sängplatser och trots att vi var två familjer ordnade Nils med familj fram sängkläder och handdukar till alla. Både före vistelsen och under den fick vi mycket bra och personlig information och tips på sevärdheter. Bland annat fick vi tips om de goda raggmunkarna på ALV och att man kunde backa där, ett tips som min man tog fasta på :). Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta boende!

Ett trevligt hus i ett trevligt område. Nära till allt man kan tänkas vilja göra i Vimmerby. Perfekt för barnfamiljen.

Emma was very easy to communicate with, so we could arrange our stay and departure conveniently. The room and bathroom were clean and pleasant. It is a good spot to spend the night when visiting Astrid Lindgren's World, which is ca. 20 minutes away on foot.

The room looked much better in pictures than in real life. I have informed the host we are a group of two adults and two children, but when we arrived, we found out that the sofa bed couldn't be set up properly. Even though the host together with my husband tried very hard to fix it, it still couldn't lie completely flat as it should. It was really not comfortable to sleep on it. Both my baby and I woke up many times during the night. The bunk bed is also a bit unstable and squeaky. No linen for the upper bunk bed. Quilts and pillows are quite low quality.

Smal and nice place close to the Astrid Lindgren World. We were a familiy of 4, but fitted nicely :) Very easy to communicate with the host.

Emma was very nice and helped us to get around in Vimmerby. She was always present and we could ask her any questions. We had a very nice stay and would recommend it totally. The little apartment in the cellar is lovely!

Fantastisk familj! Rent och fräsht! Det finns inte mycket plats kvar att stå på när man har bäddat ut bäddsoffan, så till frukost är det bäst att sitta ute- annars blir det frukost på sängen ;) Vi lagade en enkel pasta middag i det lilla køket och åt ute i trädgården. Dag nr2 gav vi mat till barnen - la dem i vagnen och gick in till stan. Lagom framme -15 min senare- sov dem och vi kunde äta en god middag i lugn och ro. Emma hade skrivit ett info ark med lite tipps - perfekt! Åt på en Thai restaurang som hon rekomenderade - och det var helt topp! ca 15 min att gå till Astrid Lindgrens Värld.

We liked being able to choose our bedroom. He had a packet for us that was helpful, not only for his home but for suggestions of places to visit. Bengt was quick at responding when I had trouble with the wifi. I recommend his home for anyone who wants an authentic country home experience.Linda and Harv

Bengt's house is large, cozy, very home-like and personal - complete with ornaments and oddities from the family's past. We were two families on our visit, but the size of the house made it possible to be private even so. The place is great for a holiday trip. It is close to the sights around Vimmerby and the local area is very nice with grazing cows, woods and an excellent bathing lake nearby. Although we never saw him, Bengt was an excellent host. He had send us a kind and well written guide to the house and its surroundings and wrote us several times during our stay to know how we were doing. And thank you for the chocolate :-) We are already planning our next vacation in Flaka :-)

The house in Flaka is placed in the countryside in very beautiful surroundings and only a short drive from Vimmerby. It is an old house with an old shower but with a cosy kitchen and lots of space. It could easily accommodate two families travelling together. The internet worked without problems and the beds were made for us when we arrived. There is a family living in a small house on the same plot right next to the house. However, they are kind and helpful. Bengt was very kind and a great host, always replying quickly after we wrote him and always very helpful. We give him our best recommendations!

Bengt var en perfekt värd som fick oss att känna oss välkomna och han var mån om att vi hade det bra under vår vistelse i huset. Huset är stort och rymligt och har de bekvämligheter man behöver. Det ligger väldigt lugnt på landet med betande kor som närmsta granne. Vi har haft en trevlig vecka i huset!

Vi har haft en dejlig ferie i Södre Flake. Vi ankom til en fint rent hus med en flot beskrivelse/manual om hus, område og aktivitetsmuligheder liggende på trappen sammen chokolade. Huset lever helt op til beskrivelsen med masser af plads. Badeværelset er under trappen, det er lille men fuldt anvendeligt. Der er masser af service mm i køkkenet, og i det hele taget mangler der ikke noget i huset. Vi har ikke mødt Bengt, men har haft en fin kontakt med ham med hurtig respons fra hans side. Området er dejligt med fine bademuligheder lige i nærheden, og bær i haven. Alt i alt en god ferie i et godt hus.

Bengt ist ein toller Gastgeber und hat uns mit einer Karte und leckeren Pralinen willkommen geheißen. Das Haus ist groß, total gemütlich und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Bengt hat uns viele Tips für Unternehmungen in die Umgebung gegeben und eine tolle Badestelle empfohlen. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit hat er auf alle unsere Mails geantwortet. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Vi havde en skøn ferie i Bengt hus. Bengt fik os til føle os meget velkomne og der var en rigtig god kontakt både inden ferien og mens vi var der. Beskrivelsen af huset passede perfekt og den guide (beskrivelse af huset og området samt aktivitetsmuligheder i området), som Bengt har udarbejdet er rigtig god at have. Der var meget stille og roligt og de nærmeste naboer var køer på marken. Der er ikke langt til Vimmerby, hvor der er flere handle og bade muligheder samt mulighed for at besøge Astrid Lindgrens Verden. Vi kommer bestemt gerne igen.
