Nice and quiet place to stay.

The host was welcoming and always on hand if needed. Also quick to respond to messages. The apartment was clean, tidy and basic. Plenty of hot water and a great shower. The location was idea for sight seeing and visiting the local lake/beach/kids park. Having access to the indoor heated pool was a bonus.

This property holds the promises outlined in the explanations. Good accommodation with all the conveniences. The owner guided us Area activities, it is present in any problem and very friendly.

Sandra is very welcoming and made us feel very settled. The apartment is glued to his house, above her beauty salon (no noise) in downtown St. Christoly (30 min CNPE). It was recently renovated and therefore is very clean, nicely decorated. The kitchen has all you need for cooking, the bathroom has a great shower. The only points of improvement that we have identified are: - Conventional radiators were not working, so there was a space heater that has more than enough of the heat point of view but that did not stop the atmosphere a little wet. - The wifi network is present, but no stops at the apartment. When one puts on the threshold, picks, if not in the apartment. Maybe in rajoutent a decision that would extend.

What a lovely gite. Tasteful, comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nice coffee, tea, shampoo etc. Very good value. A lovely host who was very welcoming even when I arrived late. Thank you for a lovely stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this charming space.

Great place, very friendly hosts, lovely garden with nice swimming pool. Excellent place for a calm and relaxed stay in the county-side. We stayed in the loft, a nice appartment on the top floor of the side-building. Spacious with plenty of space for 2-3. Small kitchen with everything you need and all spotless clean! Close to some small shops, but definatly need a car to get around. Except for a couple of pretty heavy thunderstorms, our stay was excellent and we would definately recommend it!! Big thanks to Sarah and her husband for the great hospitality!

Lost far away, almost anywhere. The quiet course, but I regretted having to do many miles to find something. The hosts were charming, I recommend this property for those who want to do anything other than nothing. Good memories anyway.

Sarah and Patrick were perfect hosts, they made us feel very welcome in there loft apt. It is a wonderful place for a couple to stay. We stayed for 1 week, and would have loved to stay an extra week. The area in which they are located is fantastic for wine touring, and visiting small towns around Blaye and Bourg. They are great ambassadors for wine country, they were always avalible to answer questions that we had prior to getting there and all week. Again they really make you very so comfortable being on their property. The pool is was so great, coming back to our apt each night and have a dip was an incredible way to end the day. I can't say enough how great it is, the loft was even larger than I thought when I saw the pictures. It was 110% perfect. Thank you so much again Sarah and Patrick.

Sarah and her husband welcomed us with open arms. They were extremely friendly, and helped us with different things, places to see etc. The loft apartment was just as expected, and so were the surroundings. A very beautiful place - we felt at home. We can definitely recommend their place, and would also go back, if chance comes.

very nice hosts! We felt immediately at home in this great property! The apartment is cozy, cozy, and perfectly matches the advert (mezzanine apartment careful with stairs to access). Lost in the countryside, we have greatly enjoyed our short stay and have enjoyed the pool, mini golf, table tennis, bicycle provisions for free ... Note that Sarah and Pratick speak very little French but c 'was very pleasant to converse in English! Other overwhelmingly English-speaking tenants, guaranteed change of scenery!

I spent two good weeks in Pascal is a very friendly host and I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. The cottage perfectly matches the description if they see the pictures and it is even better once you are inside. The cottage is in a quiet location in the vineyards and at the same time very close to all amenities. I highly recommend this cottage if you come in the region. Etienne

Our host, Pascal, has hosted us nicely. His wife remained attentive to our request for information about the area. The accommodation is spacious, large bed for 2 and a sofa bed in the living room, dressing room, shower room, WC, fully equipped kitchen. There's even a garden with barbecue area and views of the vineyards, for a TOP city, change of scenery. In two words: Great stay

We stayed at Arnaud's place for a long weekend. We attended a wedding at Bourg, beautiful church and romantic citadel. The appartment is very close to both. The appartment was like in the pictures. Its big enough for a couple, silent and very clean. Arnaud is a very friendly and accommodating host. He welcomed us and was very helpfull in his advice. He helped us out with printing the speech for the wedding. Thanks a lot for that. We can surely recommend Arnaud's place.

The place is ideally located, the property is very clean, nice and comfortable, little touches for a stay of 1 night (coffee, sugar, and bathroom linen ...), the hosts are friendly, welcoming and available. Thank you very much !

Christopher and Sabrina welcomed us with a big smile when we arrived. They were very discreet and attentive and we have offered to go around the property where sheep are located (pen) and hectares of organic walnut plantations. The loft is beautiful and comfortable, we had a real enchanted very relaxing .. it! Located 3km, the city of Bourg is splendid, nestled on a promontory. The vineyards property is an invitation to tasting.

Gourdet is an old chateau surrounded by 33 acres of walnut and fig trees. Christopher has lovingly restored the plantations and part of the building, including two apartments. The photos show the smaller of the two; we stayed at the larger one. Furniture, bath and kitchen are all new; the apartment has everything one needs even for an extended stay. Internet connectivity was fine for email and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). Gourdet is a place for those who like to get away from it all. There is a lady and her dog living in the chateau. The next house is about 500m away. Bourg, the closest village, is 5 minutes by car and has a lovely Sunday market, restaurants and a Carrefour supermarket. Within 100km are more chateaux, wine yards and old towns than one can possibly see in one vacation. Christopher is a wonderful host and it is fascinating to listen to stories about running his agro business. Upon arrival he greeted us with a huge box of produce from his own farm. Christopher was very responsive to calls and quick to fix minor issues, e.g. initially patchy internet connectivity. He was at the property most days yet so respectful of our privacy that we rarely ever saw, or heard, him tending to his trees and pastures. We wish Christopher the best of luck with the little paradise he is building for himself and recommend his apartment to all who seek a relaxed holiday in the vineyards of Bordeaux.

Very nice loft or we spend over 2 weeks my daughter 20 months and myself. We very much appreciate the walks nearby. It is a very quiet place, perfect for resting. My daughter especially loves meeting the sheep and lambs that Christopher owns in the neighboring pre. Christopher is a lovely person and the listening. We met a few little problems of electricity and internet but it is always quick to help us fix them quickly. I recommend the loft for a quiet weekend in the countryside.

Wonderful haven for those seeking peace and serenity. This loft is beautifully decorated and very well renovated, it has all the benefits that can be expected over a period of 4 to 5 nights. Situated on a 25 hectare estate, garnished with walnuts and occupied by sheep (a barrier preventing them from entering the field, however, where is the renovated building), about 3 km from the village, 15 km from Blaye, its location requires a car, bike or good walking shoes to discover the surroundings (Bourg ratings vineyards or Blaye, Gironde estuary, Bordeaux about 30 min, and a host of hiking trails around .. .). We stayed 5 days, we were the first visitors. We also tested the concept of Festibalades organized by the Tourist Office of Blaye and in collaboration with winegrowers from the corner; great learning experience for anyone interested in local and bio dynamic wine hillsides of Blaye and Bourg. Definitely recommended

We had a very pleasant stay at Christopher. The loft is beautiful and very well equipped! Our host knows to be discreet but always available! Its location is ideal, either for visiting the Bordeaux region and even the Charente Maritime. The village of Bourg is charming, and I highly recommend you test the Harbour Cafe!

We spend there 37 days and I can definitely say, that this a perfect place to explore Bordeaux and Aquitaine. About 30 min by car from Bordeaux and about an hour to the ocean and Arcachon. There are a lot of vine yards near the house where you can taste Bordeaux vines. This loft is great equipped: everything you need and even more! Good internet, coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher, oven. Everything new and works pretty good. The apartment is very nice and comfortably furnished. Christopher is very friendly and always ready to help. This is my best airbnb experience and I hope to come again!

I've been staying here for 2 months and have loved every moment of it. I'm in my twenties and moved here as a solo female for a writers retreat. First of all, the property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, private, on a huge walnut farm and surrounded by vineyards. I've felt safe at all times walking around no matter the hour of day. The town is very quiet, there isn't much to do, but it's lovely to walk around and explore. If you rent a car, there are some awesome neighboring towns and Dune de Pliat, the largest sand dune in Europe is a must day trip! Christopher picked me up from the Bordeaux airport and has both given me space and been responsive when I have a question or request -- I can always count on his immediate reply when I email him. He provided me with a great bicycle, which I ride into town or to go by the river. He's printed documents for me, brought me more mugs, a carpet, etc. I just can't say enough positive things about his hosting. I didn't stay in the loft from this picture but in the bigger loft on the other side of the barn -- it's huge and fantastic! 4 large windows, 3 skylights, it's very bright and happy, there's a full kitchen, large dining room table, large bed, very comfy big couch, TV (though all French channels), wonderful bathroom/shower, desk and extra twin bed area. Everything is beautifully furnished and decorated. The Wifi is fast and works well too. I honestly can't recommend this place enough and can't imagine a better deal.

The welcome was very warm, better could we expect in terms of contact and communication. Monique and Alain have accommodated our plans for the stay, while remaining discreet. The cottage is very well thought out for two. We enjoyed the small sunny balcony. Thank you very much for the lovely stay!

Monique and Alain's gite is in a good location near Blaye. We managed to borrow their bikes and cycle to Blaye and off to the Medoc region. In terms of hospitality you cannot find a couple who are more generous and more charming than Alain and Monique (despite our bad French! ). Great clean gite perfect for us! Merci beaucoup!

We received a very warm welcome. The owners do not speak English but with hands and feet you'll get there. After we were settled once Isabella arrived with a platter with a delicious cheese, tomato and two drinks little. Very sweet! Bernard also has a very cordial man and two dogs are both perfect guard dogs cuddling dogs. House of everything provided. Very nice large shower !! Bed fine. The cottage is secluded. A few kilometers away is a large supermarket. What we noticed is that the nicer towns and cities are further away so a car is a must. The villages around the picture are extremely quiet. Isabella had a super idea for the trip to Bordeaux, partly by car and then by tram.
