Saltaire’s best kept secret! This historic former wash house is a stones throw from all the amenities of UNESCO world heritage site Saltaire village, set in the beautiful tranquil woodland of Hirst Wood. The absolute best of both worlds. Hirst House Cottage is nestled on an island between the river Aire and the Leeds Liverpool canal. With a sofabed downstairs it can sleep 4 adults (no children sorry!). Currently for sale if any of my Airbnb guests fancy their own slice of old Saltaire!

A former canal-side pub which has recently been beautifully redesigned and renovated. It has magnificent views along the canal and across the Aire Valley . The front door opens onto the Leeds Liverpool Canal towpath It has a large open plan living room and a well designed kitchen with a separate utility space. The downstairs bathroom has both a shower and bath, and upstairs there is a double bedroom and a separate mezzanine area with a day bed. Stays normally start on a Monday or Friday
