  • Melissa’s place was easy to find. It was quaint and clean. Highly recommend stay.

  • Clean, comfortable, warm. I stayed at Melissa's apartment with my two sons for a ski weekend. Everything you need is right here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Good House to any friend or family member. Well done.

  • We loved the Good House Cottage, appropriately named. Felt just like being at home.

  • Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

  • Another wonderful stay at Melissa’s place. It’s clean, quiet, and a wonderful space to relax in. I booked last minute, but Melissa had everything ready and was very accommodating. I’ll be back again!

  • Melissa's place was perfect for my weekend ski getaway, less than an hour from Stratton, Okemo, and Mt. Snow. It felt very cozy, quiet, and secluded. I really appreciated the full kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator that I could use to cook meals after hitting the slopes. The shower had great water pressure and could get really hot (just how I like it). The bed was extremely comfortable. Altogether I felt at home the moment I walked in the door. What more could someone want?

    Mitchell2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful and recommended

    Marco2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • A warm and comfortable place to feel at home when away from home. I would go there again if in the VT area and I have already recommend it to some local people who frequently have visitors.

One bedroom apartment with kitchenette (mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave, dishes etc.), full bathroom with laundry, and open living space. I am an English teacher, so there are lots of books! Apartment is located in the Village of Saxtons River- within easy walking distance from the Market, Vermont Academy, our new Park, and Main Street Arts.
This space was a full apartment under a previous owner, but no longer has a full kitchen, so minus the stove-thing, it is a big cheerful apartment. We have provided enough for kitchenette life (making coffee, storing take-out, making pb&j sandwiches...) and lots of nice spaces to read, hang out, and enjoy your time in southern Vermont. The bedroom has closets, there is room for a crib if you are traveling with young children (we have an extra if needed), decorations are artsy and eclectic. In the bathroom there is a full washer and dryer, and a combined tub/shower.
Saxtons River is a small town, with the standard general store, inn (with bar), breakfast place, and church. There is a cool arts organization (Main Street Arts) that often hosts art shows and theatrical productions. We are also really close to Bellows Falls, which has a few nice restaurants, some breakfast spots, coffee shops, and antique stores. We are also really close to Grafton, Chester, Putney, and about 45 minutes from Okemo.
  • Whitney's AirBNB is adorable! My friend and I only stayed one night but the stay was clean, warm and the bed was very comfy. The town is very quiet and we enjoyed a bit of the night sky for once. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

    Wendy Awesome2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • 1st AirBNB experience, and it will be a hard one to top. Lovely space with lots of room. Travelling to a local event with dogs. Host was very accommodating. How can a place with Make Way For Ducklings, the Harry Potter series and a Tom Robbins novel be bad? Look forward to visiting again.

    Laura2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed one very short night, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We received detailed information on where to park and how to access the apartment. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised; the space was larger than I expected. Very cute and cozy. Note in the description that there is no stove/oven, but there is a mini-fridge; larger than the usual college-type mini fridge. Plenty of space in it for a couple of days of groceries for small meals and snacks. The bed, and bedding, was very cozy! After a long drive, crawling into a comfy bed was a treat! Wish we could have stayed longer, but if we are back in the area we'll definitely look to stay here again!

  • Lovely and cozy accommodations, wonderful location right next to the VAST network, and great local tips for our stay!

  • Amazing charming space!

    Cassandra2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We were seeking a cute & pet-friendly apartment as our relative is in a nearby assisted living facility—this place was just adorable!! It was nice and toasty when we arrived, and when the overnight low dipped below zero, we were snug as a big in a rug! If you are a reader, you will be in heaven—books abound! Clean, with a kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator, and coffee accoutrements such as cream and sugar as well as some teabags made this exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend and we will be back!

  • This place is lovely, and a wonderful value for the cost! It's beautifully decorated, very clean, and cozy. A fantastic place!

Pleasant Street Suite is the perfect refuge for couples, families, friends, or solo travelers who want a relaxing, fun, and comfortable escape in beautiful Vermont. Right around the corner there is localvore dining, classic village character, pubs, shops, art and stunning scenery. Hope to see you soon!
This is a lovely, spacious flat with private entrance and balcony, at only $130 per night (no cleaning fee) based on double occupancy. Pleasant Street Suite offers the best of Vermont lodgings for a classic New England vacation in a cozy but contemporary, well-appointed home base. You'll have more space, amenities, and privacy than most inns or hotels can offer and, as we have a BnB-license with the state of Vermont, we have water, health, and fire permits (and the peace of mind that comes with them), which most private listings don't. With parking right outside, the comfort and independence of living in a vibrant village neighborhood, and available yet unobtrusive proprietors, it's the balance of entertainment, adventure, solitude, and service that inspires guests to come back often. This is private 530'-sq. flat is situated at the far end of a handsome arts-and-crafts era home in a quiet but fun residential village (great taverns and live music right around the corner). With its own private balcony and entrance, the suite features a roomy bedroom with queen bed, plus living room with a full futon couch/bed. The sunny bathroom has a large oval tub/shower, the living room has a 7'-tall arched window, and there are ventilating, louvered skylights in every room. We recently had a state-of-the-art AC/heat-pump unit installed, so summers are cool and comfortable and winters cozy and warm. There is also free WiFi and two TVs w/DirectTV. The kitchen nook, which seats four, has a fridge, microwave, electric kettle, coffee pot, toaster, a full set of china, flatware, water glasses, wine glasses, mugs, and mixing bowls. When you arrive, you'll find list of local restaurants, shops, and cultural venues, plus a walking/trail map of the village, along with other suite info. In terms of dining, there are several options right around the corner: a restaurant in a historic building with a cozy tavern offering great pub food, a formal dining room with more elegant fare, plus patio and garden seating during warm weather; a village market with deli counter and groceries, both gourmet and standard, which guests often use for bringing meals and treats back to the suite. Just a few miles up the road are oodles of other fantastic restaurants, bistros, breakfast/lunch places, diners, and delis. For entertainment and adventure, also around the corner are two live theaters, hiking, biking, running track, tennis courts, swimming, kayaking, picnicking, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Nearby are countless cultural venues, music clubs, vintage movie houses, retail shops/outlets, Alpine resorts, major rivers, lakes, and endless opportunities for relaxation and fun. And the renowned Vermont Country Store is only 3 miles away! We're right next to Vermont Academy and a short drive from Brattleboro, Grafton, Putney, Chester, Bellows Falls, Okemo, Stratton, Mt. Snow, Bromley, and Magic Mountain--the best of Vermont skiing, shopping, dining and culture, for romantic getaways, business travel, family fun, and solitude. Our guestbook says it all: "So relaxing and peaceful--we'll be back!"- MM "What a fabulous home-away-from-home you've created!"- JC "Everywhere I turn there's another nice, subtle touch of style and I've also enjoyed your book selection."- NP "I had an incredible time!"- LK "You've thought of every comfort and it's so clean that we immediately felt welcome!"- BL "It's been perfect for all four of us and we got the best sleep ever."- CZ "What a wonderful surprise to find your suite even sweeter than advertised."- BL Please note: Extra guests beyond double occupancy or those needing use of the futon as an extra bed are $30 each per night and pets are $10 each per night.
Classic New England village and we're on the widest, oldest street with sidewalks, beautiful old homes and huge mature maples. We are half a block from Main Street, where there is a country village market with a great deli, arts and craft shops, two pubs, a formal restaurant, post office, a Catholic church, the Saxtons River Historical Society Museum, and a beautiful rocky grotto with swimming hole in the Saxtons River itself! And around the corner is Vermont Academy, with hiking trails, a terrific running track, lots of green fields in spring and summer and, in winter, awesome Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating! In autumn the village and surrounding hills, forests and meadows transform into one big glorious postcard. In a nutshell, it's pretty much paradise, year round.

    Jordan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Annie was a great host. She was very detailed with her explanations. Her home was near a very cute town with some great food plus it was conveniently near multiple mountains.

    Jennifer2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Annie was a great host and we enjoyed our time at the Pleasant Street Suite. Cute little sleepy town and perfect launching pad for a day trip to Killington and local XC skiing. Highly recommend Wunderbar in Bellows Falls for drinks, apps and board games.

  • This space is absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend it! Very private and just a quick walk to the beautiful town of Saxtons River, I couldn't imagine a better place to get away. The bed is also super comfortable and the giant window is down-right magical. Annie was an excellent host with a perfect balance of checking on me, being available and giving me as much privacy as I wanted. Thanks so much for the lovely stay, Annie!

This custom build apartment is located just 10 minutes from I91. In the winter you are 30 minutes away from some of the best skiing around. Located on 85 private acres with great views this is the perfect winter get away. In the summer you can relax by the firepit, hike in the woods, work in the gardens (just kidding), collect breakfast from the chickens or visit some of the local breweries. We are as close or as far away as you would like us to be with our house right next door.
  • This was just the quick getaway I needed! The place is so quaint and cute, and the hosts are super welcoming and hospitable. We all had a great time watching the chickens and cats, as well as walking around the property!

  • This place was flat out amazing! Bethany was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had, especially before we checked in. The space was spotless and had a bunch of small things that made it feel like home.

  • Bethany was a great host with amazing personal touches like fresh eggs and milk.

    Marian2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful apartment with a country cabin feel. A great view from the back and a welcoming host. My wife and I had a relaxing stay and would recommend this to anyone going to stay in the area.

  • Awesome private apartment with a quick 30 minute drive to Okemo Mountain!

    Jordan2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • We chose this barn apartment for a ski weekend at Okemo Mountain. The pictures do not do the space justice at all. The drive up to the barn is beautiful in itself. The space is gorgeous, and the details provided by the host (farm fresh eggs! Hershey’s kisses! Coffee! A stocked medicine cabinet with toiletries!) were thoughtful and adorable. The barn is located a short drive to the mountain and the town of Chester has a couple of cute spots to eat (we loved Heritage Cafe for a pre-ski breakfast and coffee). Extra blankets and a postcard view....we loved it so much that we canceled our Airbnb for Burlington next month and rebooked with them for another ski weekend at Okemo next month.

    Cheryl2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Bethany’s property was absolutely beautiful. Tucked away up on the hill, it was a perfect escape but still close enough to everything you need. Although the snow made it a little tough to get up the driveway, she was super helpful in assisting our way in. The barn loft was very cozy, very clean and a very welcoming feel. There were all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. Communication was great start to finish. Loved the stay here and will absolutely be back to enjoy the warmer weather and explore all the private property! Thanks Bethany!

  • A very cozy place with warm hospitality. Not suitable for anyone challenged physically due to narrow steps down to bathroom. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing with special amenities. We would visit again.

    Sumner2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Meg and Barbi are super friendly and responsive hosts, couldn't be better! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. There are stairs inside the apartment, the longest one for reaching the bathroom, make sure this doesn't bother you -- it was fine by us. If we go to that area again, we would gladly stay in Meg's and Barbi's place another time.

    Elena2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Meg and Barbi's place for a holiday weekend. Their studio was tidy, organized and spacious. It was equipped with a kitchen (and all the essential), a private bathroom and, besides our bed, it also had a small sofa. There are a few other towns close-by with an assortment of restaurants that have a generous farm-to-table policy. While staying at the studio, we were able to complete a scenic hike in nearby Putney and visited the fun Brattleboro, located 25-30 minutes away.

    Laurie2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a charming, New England upstairs living space, in a beautiful, historic house. You have to not mind stairs - which we didn't - and enjoyed all the character of the space. Meg and Barbi were superb hosts.

    Paula2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • I loved this little studio. Even with its quirky stairs to the bathroom. The place is super comfortable and above all clean. Everything is freshly painted and furnished. Really enjoyed all the little details down to the fresh flowers on the coffee table. I highly recommend to anyone looking to have the small VT town feel. Meg and Barbi were super accommodating.

    Geo2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Barbi and Meg were excellent hosts! The apartment was comfy and clean and a great homemade for southern VT. We had a great stay!

    Megan2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful and quirky place to stay. It was utterly peaceful and quiet, a much needed retreat for me. Meg & Barbi have stunning gardens surrounding the house and even their handsome tabby cat was there to greet me when I got home with some friendly meows! I would highly recommend these kind hosts to anyone!

Also host provides a lot off different amenities starts from drinking water and end with pool table . In addition it is just 30 minutes to Okemo ski resort. • The studio apartment is so lovely. We adored the views, sunlight, and fresh air. The solar tracker in the back yard is also very cool. The hosts were very responsive and provided detailed instructions when I told them we would arrive late at night. We did get to chat with Susie on our way out the next morning. There is a night blooming cereus (plant) in the solarium beneath the apartment - what a treat! The location was especially excellent for its proximity to our hike the next morning.

Cozy cabin nestled in the secluded woods along a rushing brook just outside Grafton village. You'll find it in the heart of southern Vermont's ski and hiking country just a short drive to Green Mountain NP. Designed to wrap your soul in flannel sheets, this tiny home has all the charm to allow you to live out your cabin-life fantasies hassle free. Perfect for lovers, bromances, gal pals, cuddle buddies, close friends, and just about any one else who wants to unwind, get close and personal.
This home uses an indoor modern composting toilet and anyone squeamish about it should maybe think twice; though, you'll likely be pleasantly relieved (pun intended). It's not that different so don't fear. The stair is a fun addition, but it's steep and dangerous for infants or toddlers or for those with limited mobility. The cabin is made of fir that's actually harvested and milled directly from the site! If you're allergic to fir, this isn't the place for you; every square inch is fir! This is a very inclusive rental and we especially welcome the LGBT community. I prefer no pets please. If it's nice out, do not miss taking the hammock (hanging inside) down by the brook and relaxing for a while. You'll find the hooks on two trees down beside the stream. If it's dry out, grab some firewood at a roadside stand for a fire in the pit outside. The cabin is homey and cozy but you'll want to be outdoors as much as possible!
Grafton is an incredible Georgian era village that is scenic and well preserved. Shops, galleries, museums, an adorable grocery/deli, the historic Grafton Inn, Phelps Pub, tennis courts, parks, swimming pond, mountain biking, cross country skiing, hiking can all be found in a short walk around the village and an easy walk from the cabin. The Mollie Beattie State Forest and Grafton Trails and Recreation Center are both nearby as well.
  • This house was the perfect size for two to get away from it all for a long weekend and simply enjoy nature and be present. This lovey home was equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen tools to bathroom amenities and warm blankets. We even drove to mount snow a couple times for snowboarding. Thank you!

    Cleopatra2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing little retreat spot in the woods but also close to town. Perfect for some solitude for reading, writing or whatever suits you. And just minutes away from the Grafton Outdoor Center and Trails for x-country skiing and snowshoeing.

  • The Owl's Nest is probably the coolest place to plan a staycation in Vermont. If the weather is inclement or you find yourself stuck indoors, this tiny house is packed with a myriad of books, maps and antique artifacts to explore.

  • Beautiful spot in a cozy VT mountain town. The house was just as described and perfect for a couple nights away for two of us. Clean, plenty of amenities, comfy bed and a tranquil stream outside. Danny was a great host. We’ll be back!

  • The Owl’s Nest cabin is a dream! The pictures are just a glimpse at what wonder this cabin holds. My boyfriend and I stayed here and it was the most wonderful weekend getaway. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The attention to details is fantastic. We came in January with snow on the ground and can’t stop imagining what all seasons here look like. We look forward to coming back!

  • Absolutely amazing remote location to get away, yet less than a mile from town for accessibility. Dinner at the Grafton inn and breakfast at country girl diner (only 15 min drive) are musts!

The Rose Room is a spacious bedroom in a beautiful Victorian home with elegant yet comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is extraordinary as are the tiled bathroom and the deep, long claw foot tub. Tall ceilings, oriental carpets and attention to detail make this room and home visually attractive and charming. Bellows Falls offers a movie theater (one of the largest screens in New England and ) all seats $5), an antique emporium and great restaurants. Plus an old time diner.
Called the Rose Room because of the wall color and the antique Oriental rug with a rose background, this room is situated on the first floor. This room has access to a unique and beautiful bathroom. The tiled bathroom was created in a European style with the shower as part of the room. Lush plants create a special setting.
  • All I can say is that I had an absolutely wonderful experience. Barbara is the quintessential hostess (and my Mother went to finishing school...). Barbara could not have been more gracious, thoughtful, considerate or helpful. Her historic Victorian home has been lovingly and beautifully restored to its original splendor and is a treat to stay in. It is located within easy walking distance of the Village of Bellows Falls which has some lovely restaurants and shops. This is a real find and if you are reading this review - stay there. (I just hope that when I return that she'll still have space for me!)

  • Barbara is an interesting, friendly person and since this is the 3rd time I have stayed, getting to be just like staying with an old friend.

  • I had a wonderful stay. Barbara was a lovely host, and her historic home has such great character. The house is conveniently located within easy walking distance of local shops and restaurants, and a couple of minutes by car from Shaw’s supermarket. I stayed in the Rose Room, which was spacious, and also had to plenty of other spots in the common places and backyard to relax and work on my laptop. Will definitely return.

The area is home to great hiking, boating, skiing, antiquing and New England's laid back, friendly, welcoming communities. This village of Bellows Falls is home to many old, gracious Victorian homes, a lovely downtown with unique shops, wonderful restaurants and beautiful views of the Connecticut River and the hills of New Hampshire. The house is one of the old Victorians, creatively rehabbed into a grand yet down-to-earth home. A backyard is available for guests' lounging outdoors.
The Blue Room is on the second floor, overlooks the backyard and has two large windows. A large closet and chest of drawers is available. A bathroom is nearby, on this floor.

  • Barbara's is a grand old home in excellent condition, and she is warm and welcoming. Very comfortable stay, with a host that goes out of her way to make you feel at home.

  • My time at Barbara’s wonderful home was more of an experience than a stay. The home is such a lovely older antiqued home that has been restored and kept up so beautifully. Barbara is one of the most wonderful host you could have through the Airbnb experience. I would definitely stay there again given the chance.

    Cheryl2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • My Dad actually stayed this time. It was everything I had explained to him. He will definitely stay there on his next trip to Vermont. Great value for the money.

  • Barbara’s place is the best Airbnb I have stayed at, and what an opportunity to stay in such a beautiful Edwardian home! Great facilities, breakfast items, gorgeous rooms, garden. Short walk to the Main Street -Moon dog cafe & Wunderbar were my favourites. Thank you Barbara, such a wonderful host & I hope to stay again beautiful Bellows!

    Jody2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara is the nicest person on the planet and couldn’t be more hospitable and accommodating. She went above and beyond in a near crisis situation for me. Her communication before with advice during my visit was exceptional. Bellows Falls is charming and the location of her magnificent home is perfect. I’ve had many, many fabulous Airbnb experiences and visited Vermont several times, but my stay far exceeded my expectations.

Our lovely, art-filled, tidy Victorian flat is close to restaurants and dining, Amtrak, hiking, skiing, antiquing & family-friendly activities. You’ll love our place because of the location ( a beautiful short walk to town & just a few miles from 91 )and the ambiance. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families older kids, and well behaved furry friends. Bellows Falls is an enthralling historic village with incredible architecture & history.
Our guests stay in the first floor of our award winning art and book filled 1900 Victorian home in historic Bellows Falls, VT. This flat is in walking distance form the Amtrak station and and minutes from the vibrant downtown.
Bellows Falls is a beautiful, historic village boasting the first canal in the united states, a vibrant downtown and from the front porch - a view of Hetty Green's grave. We are a few steps from the Stone Arts Church - a venue for classical music.
  • I really loved this Airbnb - it was clean, comfortable, spacious and full of delightful art and cheerful touches and color - maybe my favorite among many Airbnb stays!!

    Jessica2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is very spacious and lovely, and it’s super close to the village. We had a delightful stay and slept really well. The kitchen is beautiful and well-stocked. Thank you!

  • Beautiful, comfortable, and spacious apartment. Kristen is a great host - she always has time to answer questions and make sure you feel at home. I did an extended stay for three weeks, and loved it. Highly recommend!

  • Lovely place in a great location to see Bellows Falls! My family had a wonderful stay and loved the flat

    Raymond2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Kristen’s apartment is amazing. It’s in an old Victorian home with great historic features, quiet yet very close to downtown. The decor is uniquely curated with beautiful art and sculpture, brightly colored walls, comfy furniture. The kitchen has everything you need. We were greeted with a personalized hand-written note, cookies, and local apples and cider. One of our favorite stays ever!

    Eva & Leif2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed several times and will continue to consider this my first choice in bellows falls. Kristen’s personal touches are what Airbnb is all about. Her place is an artist’s haven, beautiful design and artistic touches. Tasty local seasonal treats like fresh local cider and cider donuts await your arrival. I almost always am able to check in early and leave a little late, although don’t hold me to that. She is an excellent communicator with regards to that. I’ll return a million times. Mickie

  • Kristen's place is just stunning. She has a great eye for art and design. Her recommendations around town were spot on. She provided apple cider and donuts which made our fall trip to Vermont perfect. There is a generous selection of good books, a nice roomy kitchen, and a wonderful view of the church and cemetery from the comfy, warm living room sofa. The local town is really charming and friendly. We plan to return next fall!

The Stone Schoolhouse is in an amazing location - 100 yards from the historic Bartonsville Covered bridge -Five minutes from I 91 exit 6 -Five minutes from Chester VT -Two miles from The Vermont Country Store -Located in the heart of Southern Vermont skiing, hiking and biking The light airy 1840 house itself is charming, filled with art, books and enticing artifacts. The property includes a lovely woodland screened chalet. You will have the entire house to yourself.
The house has a complete kitchen and an extensive library. There is an amazing vinyl 33 collection and operating stereo. There is also a lovely screened chalet for peace and quiet and enjoying moonlight and sunrises and beautiful evenings. I live next door on a small organic farm with chickens, bees, apple orchard and vast garden. I am very knowledgable about the area and want to make your stay the best. Marvie
Lower Bartonsville is very rural and in the country. A beaver colony lives across the road from the school house. There is a little swimming hole under the bridge and two nearby farm stands and plenty of nearby hiking and biking. I can help you with all the trails and bike routes. And five minutes away in Chester you have a large variety of restaurants, grocery store, gas station and many intriguing shops and events.
  • This little house and location is so sweet and charming! It’s basic but very comfortable. We loved the welcome basket Marvie left us, the comfy king size bed, the well-stocked kitchen, and all of the interesting collections and memorabilia all around the house. We loved feeding our compost to Marvie’s chickens, meeting some of the neighbors, and watching the train go by across the street every day. The location by the stream and the tracks and the covered bridge is really picturesque. This is perfect for a couple or a small family looking for a quiet escape. Marvie herself was one of the best parts, she is close enough to hop over if needed but far enough that you still have plenty of privacy, and she is really delightful. She’s lived there for over 50 years and knows everything there is to know about the area. We hope to come back again some day!

  • When looking to get away from it all this is the perfect place to stay. Wether on business or just getting away from it all this is the place. Snacks, wine, coffee, a very comfy bed and more can all be found here. Historical schoolhouse built in the early 1800’s has charm and character one can truly appreciate. The hostess; Marvie is so pleasant, full of information and can tell you all about the local area.

    Kelley2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great option for a couple. The house was very cozy and full of interesting items

    Andrew2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Marvie's place is unique and inspiring. Someone special collected these items, and we felt lucky to be able to enjoy them. Marvie provided a lot of special touches that made us feel welcome. There is plenty of heat and hot water, the schoolhouse is super clean, and the king-sized bed is very comfortable. Staying here was effortless and fun. It is highly recommended.

    Laura2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place was a really great find. The house had lots of entertainment options between records, books, and board games. Location isn’t too far from the highway so it is easy to get to different places

    Steven2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Marvie's little schoolhouse is a cozy place to stay in the middle of a winter wonderland. Our party of two adults and an 11-year old thoroughly enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it to other couples and small families. The schoolhouse is a treasure trove of books, knickknacks, and fascinating collectibles. Marvie is an amazing host with lots of great tips and information about the area, not to mention she's just simply fun to talk to. We definitely found a great value for our money and a wonderful gem of a host that we'll never forget.

    Mark2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Marvie's house is very distinct place, it is old in a very good sense of that word, it has history. It is very clean and has good amenities and is of decent size for family. Marvie herself is doing her best to make your stay comfortable and trouble free.

    Alexander2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a gem. Right off the main road, very secluded, but Marvie was right there when we had questions. The school house was so cool with all the antiques and books and records! We had a blast.

Upstairs bedroom with queen size bed in artisan built home on ten acres. Enjoy the view over wetland, streams, gardens and wildlife just a half mile from the quaint parish village of Westminster West. Between Putney and historic Saxtons River.
The bedroom offers closets, drawers and shelves as well as a window seat overlooking the gardens and wetland. Hardwood floor, handmade tables and lamps, and personally designed mirrors accent the room.
The village of Westminster West is a return to a simpler way of living. The nearest stores are in the neighboring towns of Putney or Saxtons River. Area folks love to bicycle or walk the rolling roads that wind through the forested landscape as well as area farms. From my house, guests can walk the three mile "loop" that winds around and through the village area. Close to The Putney School, Landmark College, Greenwood School, and Vermont Academy.

  • Gail's house is beautiful! She built it herself and each aspect, from walls to furniture, is artistic and thoughtful. We had a cozy stay. The place was very clean and Gail was great with communication. I'd stay with her again!

    Yucheng2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first stay using Airbnb it it was very enjoyable. Gail was very accommodating and there were little, thoughtful touches in her home that made it unique. She also offered a wealth of suggestions as to where to go and what to do. I would recommend her to anybody who asked.

    Scott2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Gayle has a very unique and beautiful space. We enjoyed the lovely warm atmosphere of her house and the tales of how it was built. A must see Air B&B! Close to many great hikes and lovely setting.

    Polly2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • A real artist living an intentional life. To sit and talk with Gail will give you inspiration to go and live your life to the fullest.

    Nicole2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Gail’s house is unique with its charm. She made it herself over 20 years. I was completely impressed. The room was better than I expected. It was cozy and had light. One of the windows overlooked a pond and the other window overlooked her garden in the woods. The bathroom bath/shower was beautiful. I wish I had a shower like that. The water pressure was good. Gail let me use her kitchen and when I was running late she cleaned up after me. Our conversations were interesting and fun. I always love getting to know the people who run Airbnb‘s. Five stars for her kindness and hospitality.

    Theodora2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Gail's home is a gorgeous, comfortable, quiet, beautiful retreat into the woods. The location is ideal and her property is breathtaking. The natural surroundings are inspiring and incredible. Gail was a perfect host and she is a fantastic human being. She showed me all around, answered all of my questions, and gave me great suggestions for local flavor. She was a delight to converse with and share stories with and I came away from the weekend all-the-better. Don't think twice about booking!

    Douglas2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place is incredible. The house is next to a pond and in the trees and is handmade by Gail. Every inch of the house is beautiful. I'm so glad I stayed there.

    Jonathan2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is the best AirBnB I’ve ever been to. I couldn’t have stumbled upon a better port in the snowstorm. If I’d written this charming a place into a book by happenstance, no one would believe it! My room was comfortable, the space was steeped in historical charm, and Ed and Eileen were enthusiastic about ensuring my comfort. I made a pot of tea to drink in my room, and the breakfast the next morning was NO. JOKE. I felt like a proper queen. I will definitely be staying again, for longer, and bringing friends.

    Lauren2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Ed and Eileen was fantastic. A comfortable bed, a lovely home, and generous and friendly hosts. We stayed in several places on a NE tour and the Eva Blake house was far and away our favorite. We hope to make it back again some day! Truly a not to miss visit if it’s in your travel plans.

    Jesse2019-10-27T00:00:00Z

  • Brian's place was ideal for our weekend in Grafton. We had a great time!

    Daniel2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Honestly, the photos of this place don’t do it justice. The cottage was/is much better than I expected in that it’s more updated than appears in the photos and the property is a lot more than what you’d expect to find. I was looking for a quiet escape from NYC, and this place fit the bill exactly. The town literally has no cell service (unless you have AT&T, but don’t worry the cottage has WiFi). And it’s nestled in the VT mountains near plenty of places to hike and enjoy the outdoors. As others have mentioned, it’s on a river/creek which is really nice. There’s a fire pit on site with all of the needed materials. And the place is located a 10-12 minute walk from the village of Grafton where you can find a market store and a couple of good dining options. Would highly recommend to anyone and i would definitely stay again.

    Ricky2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Brian's cottage is a great place to stay if you are in the Grafton area. It's clean and has all the essentials that you would expect from an Airbnb stay. It's ideal for couples and small groups. For us the best feature of the stay was the Saxton River in the backyard.

    Shail2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at the cottage in Grafton. The space was perfect for just me and my competition dogs. There is a huge yard for the dogs to play in and a cheerful stream for them to wade in. It was quiet and peaceful. I loved that you could actually cook in the kitchen. Thank you so much for sharing your cute cottage with us!

Nice, spacious 3rd floor apartment in a Victorian Inn. Private 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen (fully equipped) and bath. Shared front porch and yard. We welcome kids, families, all types of groups!
Residential neighborhood in small NE town.
  • I booked this place 1 week before the date we expected to arrive, and it blew away my expectations. Having been last second, and for that price, I really was not expecting how much i got. Very nice, spacious rooms with a kitchen, full bathroom, and even some coffee and tea for us to have in the morning! I recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

  • Herb’s place is great and he is an awesome host! Everything was sparkling clean and he provided clear signs to find towels, linens, etc. He left us food for breakfast and plenty of firewood for the wood stove. Herb was also extremely flexible with my group’s check-in process as Vermont was hit by a huge snowstorm the day we were supposed to go and the roads were impassable. Would recommend this property to anyone!

    Elizabeth2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a pretty big group, and Herb was very accommodating! The place is gorgeous and homey, and a perfect place to spend a winter weekend.

    Alexander2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Herb’s place is incredible! No matter what you’re in the area for, it’s a great place to stay. My friends and I had such a wonderful stay there and felt so at home.

    Madeline2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Herb's house easily accommodated our group for a weekend ski trip and was located close to mountains at a great value. The house is cozy and inviting with the wood burning stove and endless book/game selections, and Herb's homemade baked goods were a nice touch to the experience.

    Dylan2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Herb’s home was perfect for our family, including our dogs! Very comfortable and cozy. The wood stove was a hit with my husband. Wooded area was pretty. The house is located just past Vermont Academy in Saxton’s River. The beds were comfy and bedding was great! Tons of towels and plenty of pillows. Sectional sofa was very relaxing. Herb was communicative and made sure he left lights on for our late arrival. A sweet little gingerbread loaf in the fridge was a very nice touch. We would definitely consider the house again.

  • Super clean, comfortable, everything you need, the perfect getaway. Quintessential VT! This beautiful log home has it all with fun things to see and do in every direction, all about 10-15 minutes away. Very relaxing with a view of wildlife and nature’s beauty right outside the bright comfy sunroom. Enjoyed our time there very much.

    Sue2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for a peaceful, quiet getaway. Steve was a great host. The log cabin is gorgeous and exceeded expectations. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away and enjoy the serene beauty of Vermont!

    Steven2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location just remote enough to feel like you’ve got the entire mountain to yourself, but close enough for quick amenities and restaurants. Steve was considerate enough to check on our arrival when a storm came through and dropped a few inches of snow that morning, and we loved coming back to the cozy home after a day on the nearby ski slopes. A true Vermont cabin in the woods.

    Robyn2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was gorgeous and very secluded, can’t see your closest neighbor which was great. The pictures don’t do it enough justice; inside and out the property was great. Hope to return again one day!

This is a fun space for creatives & artists. Each guest room has its own antique bed, desk & seating areas. Quick walking distance to the beautiful village and town of Bellows Falls with its turn of the century architecture for antiques, book shops and locally made art, retail boutiques, dining and entertainment.
  • Leah is a great host with a beautiful house filled with positive energy. The Blue Room is comfortable, quiet at night and has amazing wallpaper. Leah also gave us great restaurant recommendations - Flat Iron Exchange has great coffee!

    Omar2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed the night at Leah’s while we were at a funeral, and are very appreciative of Leah’s kindness and flexibility in working with our peculiar request. We needed a much earlier check-in time, as well as the ability to leave my dog at the house while we attended the funeral, and Leah not only agreed, but she also offered to personally watch my pup for us while we were away. In the end, she unfortunately could not watch him because she had to unexpectedly spend the night at the hospital for personal health reasons... and yet even sick and from a hospital bed, she arranged for a friend to let us into the house and Leah was extremely communicative in making sure we were comfortable and happy. She opened up her home to us wish such trust and ease, and we are very thankful for her kindness! In the end, we unfortunately did not meet Leah in person but we had a wonderful interaction with her through messages. Her home and apothecary are very quaint - the antique charm was lovely, and are very happy with our stay. Thank you again Leah, and I hope you heal soon!!

    Andrea2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Leah is a very warm and welcoming host. If you stay in this authentic 1860's house, be sure to take a class with Leah. It was the highlight of our stay! A truly wonderful experience! Leah was so generous with her time and knowledge. We made wonderful apothecary products custom made to our own preferences. Bellows Falls was also a good jumping off point for sites in southern VT and NH.

    Susan2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely spot in the middle of rural Vermont. Great for a quiet get away and close to nature.

    Sam2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Leah, the owner, is definitely the star of this show, going out of her way to accommodate all our needs, showing us about town, and generally making us feel at home. This is an early Victorian mansion, very large, with all the wonderful woody aromas, large double hung windows and many period features still in place. If you like old houses, as we do, the place definitely has personality. While it is on a main street (as “main” as can be in this tiny picturesque village), it is quiet; what little street noise there is didn’t filter into the room. It is four or five blocks from the main village Square, reached by a street with a charming set of stairs leading to the commercial area. I’d also mention two places (at Leah’s suggestion of course,): Leslie‘s Tavern, a farm to table restaurant of New York quality, and Halloran’s farmstead with it’s Café Loco for breakfast or lunch. Both are literally about a five minute drive from town.

    Mitchell2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, wonderful mid-19th century house that has not fallen victim to sub-par "upgrades", so there is charm in every room. This also means there are some quirks that come along with a 175 year old house, so if you are expecting a bland hotel atmosphere this is not the place for you. Leah was knowledgeable about the history of the house and also the area, and gave me a tour of her apothecary shop and some homemade parting gifts as well! Fresh hand-blended iced tea was available in the kitchen all day. Leah offered to make coffee and breakfast that I was not able to take advantage of due to time constraints, but Leah also offers full use of her kitchen and made recommendations on where to go to eat. She also made space in the fridge for some of my special non-dairy items. The house was very clean and bright, with antiques everywhere, a lot of which are original to the house. The house is super clean, I couldn't even tell there are two cats. The main road can be a little noisy if the windows are open, but I was so tired from my activities that I had no trouble sleeping. One tip for travelers with a sensitive nose: my room did not smell like smoke, but the common areas did, and the listing does state that smoking is permitted in designated areas, so just something to be aware of in case you are sensitive to smoke. Overall a great stay and I would definitely go back!

The market is only a little farther down the street and they have everything you could need. They even make breakfast sandwiches every morning if you are in a rush!

Situated in a picturesque VT village, it is clean and full of amenities and thoughtful touches—wood for the large fireplace, a fully equipped and large kitchen, dining room, two living rooms, plenty of charming bedrooms, bathrooms and good linens...windows and lots of natural light. A fab place to gather! Also, Chris is a dream of a host...informative, helpful, kind and very quick to help and respond. Highly recommend ! Xox Lucy

  • Vermont old home. Very comfortable and large enough to accommodate 8 adults, 3 toddlers and 2 babies. Good kitchen for cooking meals, large dining room table with plenty of chairs. Rec room great with futtons & comfy chairs with nice large TV and fireplace. Living room good for reading and just sitting to enjoy conversation. We took a short ride to take our little one to Santa's Land. Overall good family experience to just all be together.

  • Nestled in a quaint little village yet easy to commute to area amenities. The location worked perfectly for our travel plans. This older home had plenty of charm and was the perfect size for our large family to attend a wedding near by. There was plenty of room for all of us to get ready for the big event. The house also offered several large areas to relax with our group throughout our weekend, both inside and out. It was a great match for our needs!

This pet friendly room is perfect for a quick night stay in Bellows Falls, with its antique sitting desk (with room to eat at) and its view to the north night’s sky where you can catch the starts as you fall asleep in our quiet neighborhood. Easily accessible to the sweet village’s amenities including Amtrak and local restaurants and shops. All of the charm of Vermont without the tourism you might expect in other villages. We are a 420friendly airbnb and welcome all in our community.
Guests access the building through the front door that directs up the stairs directly to their guest rooms. On top of the stairs is the original stained glass window prior to an extension put on the house back in 1888.
We are a dog loving little village with friendly people. Great locally grown and made foods can be found at nearly every restaurant and coffee shop in town. With easy walking distance to the village and to various social clubs including the Elks Lodge, American Legion, the Moose Lodge and the Polish Club, Bellows Falls makes it easy to enjoy being social while being within an easy 6 or so minute walk from the social clubs and restaurants in town.
  • Leah greeted us with a bottle of champagne for Valentine's day and a tour of this really cool old house. We had a wonderful stay and our pug did too. This is a great place to stay. Also like to add a plug for Wonderbar, around the corner, it was so good the first night, that we had to go back. Very cute village, perfect for a weekend getaway

Surrounded by gardens of flowering perennials, vegetables and chickens coop, my charming little house sits atop a ferned hill, overlooking the Saxtons River. Each room is a unique mix of original art and eclectic furniture, comfortable and welcoming, I hope. My studio is available to rent for a group to work or as a workshop classroom. I facilitate workshops in collage and writing and floor cloth painting, but you are welcome to create your own private studio group. Dogs may be welcome.
Each room offers comfortable seating and interesting books to peruse. 3 porches and back yard seating offer views of river, gardens, chicken yard and the sounds of the river and birds. The Poetry Room provides a quiet space with paintings that depict Greek mythology and other classical poetry. But guests are invited to bring an original poem to add to the poetry wall or a favorite poem or song. A view to the back garden and the rustle of leaves lulls guests to sleep during warmer weather but always offers a beautiful view from the window.

This beautiful circa 1850 farmhouse is nestled between two rivers. While it feels secluded, it is located right in Grafton Village and only a two minute walk from the tavern. There is an attached barn that has been converted to a great room with large fireplace and bar. We have a collection of bikes and snow shoes in the garage that guests are welcome to.
Relax in a rocking chair on the front porch with a glass of wine or on the back screened-in porch that overlooks the river. The large master bedroom boasts a king-sized Tempur-Pedic bed and a view of the river, which will lull you to sleep at night. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a full size bed and two twin beds. There is a second bedroom upstairs with two more twin beds. There are full bathrooms on each floor and an additional powder room by the living room. The kitchen is a small galley kitchen but has everything you need. There is an attached barn that has been set up as a large family room that has a roaring fire place, cozy couch, large television and a bar. There is a bedroom and full bathroom in the upstairs of the barn. This room is not included in the bedroom count and we ask that it not be used. Please note that from November 1st to April 1st, the barn bathroom will be winterized. The only heat in the barn is the wood stove and fireplace. Sliding doors open up to the fenced-in back yard that leads to a wide sweeping river. Most homes in town do not allow children because they are filled with antiques, but we pride ourselves on being family friendly. There is a pack and play always set up, a sound machine, and a high chair. We have a kids area that is stocked with toys, books and there is a large selection of children's movies on DVD. Our favorite thing to do at the house is play in the river. Between the two large rocks is a 4-5 ft deep swimming hole. This property is so peaceful and serene, it is like a retreat. You will leave feeling completely refreshed reinvigorated.
Grafton is such a special place to us. We were married here in 2010 and now bring our three children up as often as we can. There is a book of local attractions and places to eat at the house. We would also be happy to email it to you if it helps you plan your stay. Grafton Village is one of the most idyllic places in New England. The historic Old Tavern is in the center, which has fancy dining in the main lodge, but also pub fare in the adjoining Phelps Barn. There is live music most weekends. MKT is the general store in the center of the village. It is considered the hub of the community and is where all the locals go for morning coffee. They serve breakfast, lunch and even have take away dinners. MKT carries staple food items such as milk and bread, and various household goods. They also have a great wine and cheese selection. There is a nice trail that leads through the old historic homes, general store, blacksmith shop, town garden, sheep barn and town pond. Just a short walk down the road, you will pass a sheep meadow and then come to a covered bridge which leads to the Grafton Cheese Factory, where Vermont's best cheese is made.
  • Great vintage home with all of the things you could want. The home heats up quickly - fast internet - plenty of baths / showers the pics don’t do the master justice. It -along with its views are worth the trip. Alone.

  • Laurences place was great! The fenced in yard was amazing especially if you choose to bring a dog. We spent most of our time in the barn which is truly unique and a great place to hang out. The fires keep the barn quite warm even if it’s 0 degrees out. Laurences customer service and responsiveness was amazing. Will definitely be staying here again.

The location is perfect for both privacy and easy access to walk everywhere in picture-perfect Grafton Village. We enjoyed long walks on the country roads and hiking, sledding, and tubing at nearby Grafton Ponds, and then returning to this cozy house to relax by the fire. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and easily accommodated our extended family group. The location on the river is stunning and we hope to return in the summertime to this beautiful spot. Laurence was an extremely friendly and helpful host who responded quickly to our questions via phone or text while we were there. we felt right at home in this house and it was just the Vermont country experience we were hoping for.

  • The Ephraim House was the perfect Grafton getaway! Cute and historic! Perfect location!

  • Grafton is a special town and Laurence’s home is a perfect place to enjoy all Grafton has to offer. The history is fascinating, and everything is easily accessed. We had a big group that included a baby and an active 7 year old. There was plenty of room for everyone, and it was great to have a high chair, kids dishes, and toys available for the little ones. We enjoyed a fire in the beautiful barn, and wandered along the stream. Laurence is a responsive and helpful host. We loved the home and our whole experience!

  • We rented this house because our son’s wedding was taking place on the grounds of the Grafton Inn. We could not have found a more convenient home base for our very busy weekend! Not only convenient, but also cozy and accommodating for my husband and I and my daughter’s family of six. My grandchildren loved the selection of toys and books available, my husband loved the “swimming hole”, and I loved the solitude of the sun porch! I only wish we could have had more time to enjoy the property and all it has to offer. It is everything as described and more. Laurence is a great host, getting back to me quickly with any questions I had. If you’re looking for a place to get away from it all I highly recommend Lauence’s Ephriam Bruce House in the sweet little town of Grafton, VT!

  • Felt like a vacation getaway even though we were there for business. Peaceful , comfy and had everything we needed! Great stay!!

    Kathi2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding private house. Extremely clean and a comfortable distance from Okemo mountain if that is what your destination is. Just be careful with the driveway. If your car is not off-road ready or all wheel drive, during the winter months you might have some trouble getting up the steep hill. However the host was very helpful and sanded the driveway to allow a small front wheel drive car like a Honda Civic to make it up.

  • Jeanine and Randy are excellent hosts. The drive and walk were cleared of snow for us and everything we needed to settle in was at our fingertips. The property was beautiful, immaculately clean and we enjoyed absolute privacy. Thank you again!

  • Expect an inviting, clean, and warm environment when you arrive! We loved having a home away from home during our visit to VT for the holidays. Jeanine and Randy made check-in a breeze, provided a clean home, and prepped the driveway for easier maneuvering when the forecast predicted rain. We deeply appreciated their hospitality!

  • Beautiful location... very clean and spacious house with a fenced in area in the backyard and nice hiking too

    Bret2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Jeanine and Randy’s place was perfect for our weekend trip to go hiking and beer tasting! It looked much better than the pictures and was very spacious. We wished we would stay longer so we could take advantage of the yard to play cornhole and use the fire pit. We cooked a couple of meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed. The beds and linens were comfortable, and the area was super quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

  • We booked the day before for a fall "leaf peeping" trip from NYC. We were happy with the location, the place was bigger and nice than the photos, and it was on a nice little woodsy road with a cute little view. We didn't see Jeanine and Randy but they were responsive to texts. The house is close to Chester and (the incredibly adorable) Grafton. We spent a day exploring Ludlow, Killington, driving up rt 100 and then to Woodstock, and visiting every covered bridge we could find. The next day we went to Manchester on our way home. Such a beautiful area and so many beautiful scenic views.

My place is close to the city center. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
  • Robert is an amazing host, his place is cozy, clean and fell so much like home. The bed was very comfy and the view was wonderful from the bedroom, we especially loved the spacious public space with kitchen and amazing backyard. The location is very good as well, walk to everywhere in Bellowfalls. Robert is incredibly friendly, we had great talk and he also gave us some wonderful suggestions on what to do in Vermont. We had an amazing weekend and looking forward to go back to Robert's place again.

  • Robert was an incredibly kind and gracious host, and his home is fantastic. It's centrally located and very inviting. I can't recommend him enough.

    Zachary2017-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Robert's place is centrally located in Bellow Falls. Just a short walk from the train station as well as restaurant and local shops, his great house looks out on the river. Robert wasn't there but a long-term renter, Eli, stayed in touch with me as my train came in and met me at the station. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Bellows Falls.

  • This was a wonderful stay, Robert was a charming and very friendly host. His home is full of wonderful art and interesting pieces. We were made very welcome and shared a lovely relaxed meal with him. Robert invited us to a community fund raiser where we enjoyed meeting/talking to many of his friends. We felt right at home.

Beautiful four bedroom Southern Vermont home located within 15 minutes to Vermont Academy, Putney School, The Greenwood School and Landmark College. Access to cross country ski trails and miles of hiking trails right outside the door! 45 minute drive to Okemo Mountain! and 1 hour to Killington, Bromley, Stratton, and Mt. Snow. Spend your long weekend, Christmas, or vacation in this lovely remote location! I would consider small, hypoallergenic, non-shedding dogs. Please ask ahead of time.
Screen porch and surround earth terrace provides opportunity for evenings outdoors. Enjoy the quiet and privacy of a rural home. It is our preference (and that of our insurance agent) that the wood stove only be used when there is a power outage.
This home is one mile up a dirt road in rural southern Vermont. It is located in an ideal setting and ready for you to enjoy a peaceful time away!
  • Amy was a great host, spent the weekend with family to go skiing and the house had everything we need! Would come back again! Thanks amy!!

  • This place is hidden gem: charming, super cozy and private, no neighbors in plain sight. Amy has been very responsive as well. Highly recommended!

    Dariia2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Amy is an open and trusting host. Her home was the perfect venue for my birthday. The house itself is gorgeous and the surroundings idyllic, especially for weathering a snow storm. Thanks!

    Clara2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended! Our host, Amy, was accommodating and responded to all of our inquiries quickly. The house was clean, well organized, and located on a beautiful plot of land. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.

    Kevin2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Amy's home is beautiful and well appointed - it was the perfect spot for a group of old friends, their partners and babies to get together for a weekend. The open floor plan was great, as was the well-stocked kitchen. To top it all off, Amy was a phenomenal host: she helped us switch dates at the last minute when a family emergency cropped up in the fall and she was checking in during our stay to ensure everything was as expected. I couldn't recommend her home more.

    Mike2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Amy's house was lovely with great views of the surrounding woods and beautiful touches like a Christmas tree, flowers and candles. The house was super clean, comfortable and well-appointed with great art and furniture. Amy made our check-in easy and was quick to respond to all communications. We had a great time and would love to come back again sometime. :)

    Diana2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely home!

    Evie2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Amy's place was the perfect holiday getaway for my family and I. My husband's and my place in Marlboro, VT was much too small to host my sister, brother-in-law, and parents for the holidays so we decided to rent a space in the area. Amy's house was the perfect size for 6 adults; it was roomy, cozy, and beautiful. We kept remarking on how perfect and lovely it was! The large kitchen could not have been better for all the Christmas cooking we did and the living room fit us all comfortably. Amy even asked if we would like a Christmas tree; we did and the live tree she put up and decorated was the cherry on top of a wonderful stay. I'm definitely recommending Amy's place to friends and family.
