Contact with Martin was very nice, authentic and uncomplicated in advance. Martin and Silke have received me very friendly and very attentive everything done that I feel good. The property meets the description. It is clean and you can also sit on the balcony. Toast was ready and the refrigerator were a variety of drinks and some for breakfast. Evening candlelight erleuchete the stairwell. Martin has lent me a bicycle. On the last night we met a little closer in the courtyard with a glass of wine. Nice!

Martin is a brilliant host. We had our own parking place, two cold beers, cheese, bread and preserves, and a brilliant coffee machine. The internet was fast, the bed is HUGE (King), and the rooms are very spacious. I could absolutely live here I enjoyed it that much. We went to a local festival in the village, partied and drank beer with the locals, went shopping at a Lidl ~10 minutes away, and had great coffee and toast the next morning. This place is amazing, do not hesitate to stay here and explore the countryside. It's picturesque, quiet and a great place to visit. Thanks Martin!

I was only one night and absolutely love it. The room is new and tastefully decorated. It is not far from Bamberg, quiet area at the foot of the castle. The car has found a good spot in the yard. Everything was very simple for me as a newcomer and the personal greeting very cordial, there were no wishes open. Many thanks again!

The housing Gisela is quite the description. The welcome was very warm despite the delay. Gisela knew very well we recommend in terms of excursions in the area. For nature lovers, beautiful walks and beer lovers, this accommodation is for you. Not to mention the children can enjoy the large meadow behind the house!

het huis van Gisela is absoluut prachtig voor natuurliefhebbers (met hond). Alles was zeer schoon en de keuken uitgerust met alles. De badkamers waren erg mooi en uitgenodigd na het beklimmen om te ontspannen. We zullen terugkomen!

Petra was an absolutely wonderful host! She was very helpful, friendly, funny and made my stay the most comfortable and pleasant out of all my airbnb experiences! If in Bamberg again, I would definitely book with Petra!

We enjoyed our month in Petra's home especially the easy bus access into Bamberg and walking through the beautiful woods just outside of town. Her home is very unique and has lots of character. It was plenty warm and cozy especially with the heated floors downstairs. We did have an unfortunate plumbing problem occur but Petra was very helpful and came the next day to help correct it.

Great location! So easy to walk to old city and restaurants. Nice clean apt. Small kitchen but all things necessary for making a good simple meal. Host was very friendly, willing to accommodate me and my two kids - even found me a city map to use! Noise level is minimal but if your sensitive, bring earplugs. Would gladly recommend and come back for another stay!!

The overall experience was really nice. The apartment was small and clean and the hostess was really helpful and kind. It was really close to the bus station and the main market and most of the pubs and bars. I definitely suggest it for someone who wants to spent a few days in Bamberg.

This apartment is in a great location and is quiet, even though it's just a few minutes' walking distance to the lovely old town of Bamberg. The bedroom windows face an inner courtyard which is nice, but also doesn't provide for a ton of privacy since people are hanging out right outside the windows. The shared coin-operated washer/ dryer is nice to use if needed. Overall, the apartment is bare bones and very small inside. Aside from the bedroom, there isn't any place to really sit or just hang out. The bathroom sink is very small so it's hard to not splash water all over everything. Very little contact with the host, and there wasn't a map or list provided of recommended nearby places to reference like grocery stores, restaurants, sights, etc., so you're kind of left on your own to figure that out. The internet worked intermittently. Shower was small but water pressure was nice, and the bed was comfortable. We stayed just 2 nights, and this is a sufficient place to stay when in town, but not really anything special. If you're looking for a great location and just a cozy, affordable place to sleep, then this apt. is for you.

Our stay was great! Beautiful small rustic and clean housing. Very good location, everything is possible on foot. She even provided a cot at my request, so it is very flexible and attentive to our needs! There is no washer but there is a laundry room 5 minutes walk! I definitely recommend this accommodation!

That was one of the most beautiful experiences of our airbnb Travel here in Europe and in the USA! Perfect all around: friendly reception, spacious, tasteful, quiet, and so much space! Perfect central location to explore the magnificent medieval center of Bamberg and its surrounding hills! Upon arrival we were welcomed by Andreas, who very kindly helped us to find a place to park our car. He pointed us some interesting 'off the tourist trail' places on the map and gave us some other helpful tips. The place has everything we needed, plus lots of books and brochures about Bamberg. Pretty good deal!

I had a wonderful stay in Christines apartment, It was nice and clean and had everything i needed. The neighborhood is really stunning. I never got the chance to meet Christine since she was on vacation, but she arrange for me to pick up the keys at her friend, and email and made sure everything was alright, so she was the perfect distance-host. Would recommend!

The app is excellent from all point of view: location, cleanness & cosiness. We were familiar with the city so did not call for any local tip or help but am sure that Christine would have given very useful ones. Gabriele and her house were wonderful! Gabriele is an excellent host. The place has very nice atmosphere and surrounding is very peaceful. Although it is a bit further from the city centre, if you are not in a hurry Bamberg is a perfect place for a walk.

I had a really great time at Gabriele. The room was beautifully decorated and very nicely furnished. Gabriele greeted me warmly and gave me lots of information about Bamberg. The location of the house is very quiet and idyllic. Walking the city can be reached quickly and walking paths are right at home. In ten minutes the river can be reached. In addition to the beautiful room, stood me a kitchen (everything was clean and well equipped) and a bathroom. Overall, I would recommend as hostess of the house and Gabriele just sincerely. Should I go back to Bamberg I would come again and again at Gabriele.

An amazing place on the edge of Bamberg. A short walk to a trail and you can go see Altenburg castle, and get an incredible view of Bamberg. Close to a bus line if you want to get to city center quickly, but the walk to and from is great too. The house itself was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We weren't able to meet our host in person, but he was very communicative and helped us get set up. Definitely recommended for a stay in Bamberg!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Klaus' house. Since he wasn't going to be there in person, Klaus had arranged for us to be given the key by his daughter. Everything had been communicated beforehand, so there was absolutely no problem once we got there. The house itself was exactly as described and shown in the photos on Airbnb. Very clean and everything we needed was right there. It is located in a quiet rural suburb but walking into the Bamberg Altstadt took only 25-30 minutes, past fields and downhill, with wonderful views. A walk up to the nearby Altenburg is definitely recommended, too! Coming back at night was not a problem, either. The bus from the Altstadt runs until quite late. 1.80 € per person. Overall a great experience. I would absolutely stay at Klaus' place again!

We felt very much at home in the apartment - it was comfortable, very clean, with access to kitchen facilities. Just outside the house, the lovely walk to a castle starts, feels like it is in your backyard. Klaus allowed use of his washing machine for 3 Euros - which proved extremely useful for us. The apartment is not walking distance from the town centre or the main train station. But the bus stop is just a couple of minutes away, and a weekly bus card for 2 at less than 14 Euros makes commuting economical. The wi-fi was probem-free. Klaus made us feel welcome. And his wonderful piano playing was a bonus.
