The Stables Cottage is located in the quiet, village of Scotterthorpe. This is a private, detached cottage, standing in the grounds of The Old Granary. A cosy hideaway set within the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. It is completely self contained with garden and parking. The Stables Cottage renovation was completed in 2014. Family resided in the property until 2016. It was then rented on a long term let.
This property has been built with love, having a wonderful, cosy ambience, with high ceiling beams, log burner, stone fireplace and a free standing bath. The Cottage is tastefully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. Please note that The small bedroom is off the main bedroom
A cosy hideaway set within the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. 1 mile to the village of Scotter where you will find a Church, a quality butcher, several shops, takeaways, hairdresers and pubs that serve food. Within the vicinity we have; Blyton Park Race Track, Kieraden Park Mx Track, Blyton Fishing Ponds, Blyton Ice Creams, Messingham Nature Reserve, Grange Park Golf Course, Skydive Hibaldstow, Forest Pines Golf Course, The Baths Hall Scunthorpe, 2021 Visual Arts Centre, Gainsborough Old Hall, Gainsborough Heritage Centre and Normanby Hall Country Park. We are 20 minutes drive to Gainsborough, Scunthorpe and Brigg. It is 40 minutes to Lincoln and 50 minutes to Hull.
  • A lovely, relaxing over night stay. Jo was so helpful when we were settling in and even offered to get the fore started for us. It was so cosy with the fire roaring and I really pretty village. We also appreciated the chocolate biscuits and milk provided on arrival. Another recommendation for something to do, we took a little trip to Messingham zoo on a bit of a whim the next day and it was fab. Would definitely stay again.

  • Considering this was my first time using AirBnB everything was so easy from start to finish and any questions I had were replied to very quickly. A very clean and spacious accommodation in an idea location. The garden was amazing to sit in when we had some spare time too. Bob and Joanne were great hosts that went above and beyond when Bob kindly rescued us when our taxi let us down on a bank holiday. Highly recommended!

Access to the front door is along the driveway between No 14 and No 16 from Ashby High Street. This can be booked with 14 Ashby House Flat 1 which is another one bedroom flat on the ground floor that sleeps two, if availability allows. Call to enquire about discounts for both flats.
    This one bedroom flat can sleep 2. It has two single beds in the bedroom that can be made up as a single king size bed. There is a wardrobe and bedside cabinets with side lamps. It has a kitchen area which is adjacent to a cosy living room. The kitchen has all the utensils, cutlery and crockery that you'll need for your stay. There is also an iron and ironing board. There is a oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. The living room has a comfortable sofa and smart TV connected to the free 100MB WiFi so you can connect to your own Netflix, Amazon accounts. Penny is a very caring host, who checked regularly with me that everything was going ok during my stay. The flat itself is great, with a lot of space. Perfect for a few days of a business trip.

    Your room will be a private Double bed, with the bathroom next door.
    🌍 Private Double Bedroom, within a family home, with no Children. Private Double bedroom over looking the back garden, with space to hang your clothes, own TV with access to watch films on the media player. Bathroom is located next to the guest room. With towels available. The Kitchen isn't available to use unless this is discussed before hand. Guest can however use the microwave and cutlery. I can leave out a choice of breakfast, for example fruit, Ceral or toast for an extra small fee. Check in is between 5pm - 9pm and Checkout is 8am, please feel free to discuss this if you require to make alternative arrangements. Please feel free to ask me any questions about your stay. I will do my best to accommodate. Keadby is a small village, two shops, one has a post office with free cash machine, a pub and a chip shop. Tesco Extra, KFC, Mc Dondalds and pubs/restaurants etc 2 miles buy car. Keadby is 40 minute walk to Scunthorpe, buses and the train run every hour. Althrope Train station is a 5 minute walk from our house, it connects to Scunthorpe and Doncaster.     Our home is just on the edge of the village of Messingham. Two Double rooms with a shared private bathroom are available for short or long stay guests. Ample secure parking with an electric gated entrance, tea/coffee making facilities available. Free Wi-fi, free view TV in the bedrooms and separate sitting room with Sky TV. Home Gym with treadmill, cycle and weight bench. Full size snooker table, pool table and Table football are available for use. Use of fully fitted kitchen.
    We are on the edge of a quite village with great views of the countryside but with all amenities within a 10 minute walk. There is a restaurant next door and a wine bar and pubs in the village, also an Indian restaurant, Chinese take-away, kebab house and Fish & Chip shop.
  • Phil and Angie made me feel very welcome and are great hosts. They have a lovely home and the room provided was large and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom . Highly recommend them to anyone visiting the area.

    Part of a Coach House, traditionally decorated, with lots of original features. It is in the middle of Messingham a pleasant village 5 miles from Scunthorpe. There are 4 public houses in the village and also very close by is a highly rated restaurant. There is also a beautiful cafe - The Old School. There are takeaways and an Indian Restaurant. There are grocery stores also within walking distance. We are a short drive to Grange Park Golf. There is fishing locally, tennis, foot golf and a zoo.
    Built in 1875 - traditional property. 3 double bedrooms, 2 cosy lounges with TV, large victorian kitchen and a bathroom. Beautifully presented throughout.
    Messingham is 5 miles from Scunthorpe and 24 miles from Lincoln and Grimsby. The village has everything you would need for a stay.

A massive kitchen diner with large cooker, great supply of kitchen eqpt to cook/prepare anything. House was warm, comfortable. We used it as a home for 10 days waiting for our house purchase to complete. Would recommend as a great place to stay.

  • Spacious accomodation with period features, close to local amenities. Layout worked well for our group of 4 adults and 1 teenager. 2 reception rooms and kitchen diner on ground floor. 3 x double bedrooms and bathroom (cubicle shower, whb and wc) on first floor. Front two bedrooms have interconnecting door, which . Property is on main road. Noise from passing traffic was notable, but did not cause a problem. Hot water for shower runs off small tank, notice advised usually enough for 2-3 consecutive showers. Large groups would need to plan shower use or run risk of a cold shower!! Property and stay overall was ideal for our 2 night stay whilst visiting friends. Thank you Sam for use of your home.

    We offer clean, comfortable, modern and fresh homely accommodation. We offer a small cosy single room to the front of our property, with a lock on the door. The room has a single bed, single wardrobe with drawers, bedside drawers with handy touch lamp and a fold down wall desk with swivel chair great for laptop work. We may allow a pet in this room if pre-approved. You will have free WiFi. Breakfast consisting of cereals, toast with jam or marmalade, tea and coffee is included in room price.
    A Semi-Detached house, in a wide road, that consists of three bedrooms, one bathroom, a downstairs toilet, a utility room, a large kitchen with 6 seater dining table, a lounge an outside rear decked patio/garden area and to the front is a drive.
    Our neighbourhood is quiet day and night, so you can be sure of a good nights sleep. We have a “convenient corner shop” across the road and a “Fish and chip shop that do Kebabs, Pizza and more” nearby. There is “The Worley hotel “ for drinks and food a few minutes walk away and “Glenys Bar” for drinks in the next street a few minutes walk away.

    No7 is a cosy, clean terrace house in a quiet side street, opposite a garden centre , 2 minutes walk to The White Bear, one of several restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance of No7. I have lived in Epworth for some 30 years, and can provide information on things local. It is pet friendly . Please contact the owner for further information.
    A bedroom with a double bed with a new orthopedic mattress, cooling fans, dressing gowns and slippers, tea and coffee making facilities. A separate bathroom with shower facility is shared with the host. You are invited to enjoy the garden which offers tables, chairs, a lawn, flower beds and trees, accessible via a separate entrance . It is possible to use the BBQ at additional charge and by prior arrangement. All other rooms of the house are for private use only.     Epworth is a small town offering boutiques and unusual gift/homeware shops if you like shopping, a garden centre with a restaurant/caf/takeaways. It is near to Flixborough and the Pheonix Parkway industrial area.

This means that you can arrive at your convenience on the day of your booking. The bungalow is set in a quiet road opposite a small childrens park.   • Panjaks home is in a lovely little village, very quiet and peaceful. The home is very comfy and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Panjak was extremely helpful and very welcoming, he took a late booking from us and went out of his way to give advice as to where to eat and not to worry what time we arrived, which was very kind of him. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the shower was really good, we also really appreciated the en-suite. We only stayed a night and wish we could have stayed longer. We can highly recommend Panjaks home for anyone looking to stay in the area. We are a twenty minute journey from Robin Hood Airport and thirty minutes from the Humber Bridge. Lincoln is a 40 minute drive . Nearby leisure activities include many well established and renowned fishing lake complexes.
    Given that Oak Tree Annex is totally detached , our guests enjoy independent accommodation of a high quality. We believe our pricing is exceptional value. Parking is available immediately outside. All walkways are flat and laid to block paving and gravel. The annex is situated close to our main dwelling but private.
    We are positioned on the edge of large rural areas, with pleasant walks and great cycling literally on the doorstep. If angling is your thing, there are many very good fisheries within a 10 mile radius, our nearest being only 1 mile away. Others of note that are within 6/7 miles include Bank End & Lindholme.

Note: it is a small town so busses and stuff don’t run until later in the morning on Sundays so research your transportation. We walked most of the time. The people are so nice and the host even FaceTimed me to fix a problem we had at 1 in the morning! They have laundry services but not an actual washer so be aware of that.     Our large 5 bedroomed family home is set in the peaceful village of Belton just 2 mins drive from the M180. It offers spacious living accommodation with a garden backing onto open fields with many paths to explore the Lincolnshire countryside. It is ideal for a family gathering or business colleagues. It is close to the historic town of Epworth and within walking distance of local pubs and takeaways. Yorkshire Wildlife Park is a short drive away; York and Lincoln are less than an hours drive.
    Our large detached home provides comfortable accommodation for both small and large groups. It has a very large front drive with space for several cars (6+)and has a large back garden with outside seating available on request. The kitchen has a back door opening onto the paved patio area. There is a TV in the lounge and the dining kitchen is well equipped with crockery, utensils, pots and pans, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, fridge . Tea and coffee are provided and guests may also help themselves to any of the herbs & spices which left in the cupboards. There is a utility room with a washing machine, iron and sink and also a downstairs toilet. There is also a tumble dryer in the garage and a large chest freezer which can be switched on, if needed, prior to arrival . There is a large hallway with space under stairs for coats and shoes. The pine stairway leads to 5 bedrooms , each with it's own storage space . The house is easily recognisable as it has a colourful stained glass window on the landing. The main bathroom has a power shower and jacuzzi bath as well as a sink and toilet. The twin room is ensuite with a smaller shower, toilet and sink and the king sized bedroom is also ensuite with a toilet, sink and shower. Towels and bedding are provided . There is wifi too. It is avaiable for short and long term stays for which a discount is given so please guests are free to enquiry about this. Due to the space and number of bedrooms/ bathrooms it is a good place for large groups and a great place to relax. It's location makes it ideal for business trips in Doncaster, Scunthorpe and Sheffield as well as family breaks in the quiet Lincolnshire countryside known as the Isle of Axholme. We love this house and hope our guests will too!
    The house is in a friendly semi rural neighbourhood and is close to the historic market town of Epworth which is famous as the birthplace of John Wesley. Belton is part of the Isle of Axholme which Is steeped in history. It is an ideal place for walking and cycling as it is very flat; it is also a great base for exploring both South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.   • This house is absolutely amazing. The location is very peaceful, the area is outstanding. There are local shops within walking distance and supermarkets within about 15-20 minutes by car. The house is very well kept, it has all the amenities that would make your stay comfortable, from a fully equipped kitchen, large garden area, big living room etc. There is a stack of information in the guest visitor guide including several takeaways that you can order from locally. The hosts were amazing left us alone during the stay but were always on hand if we had any questions. I can highly recommend this property, great location, beautiful house and great value for money.

    Kensington House Cottage is a two bedroom ground floor flat on a quite road. It is situated within a 7 minute walking distance of Gallagher Retail Park and Glandford Park home to Scunthorpe United FC. The flat is within walking distance of many eating establishments, Tesco Extra, M&S, Debenhams, Pizza Hut, MacDonalds, KFC plus other shops.
    The apartment is located on Kensington Road. The keys are held in a keysafe adjacent to the rear door. The code is sent to you once the apartment is ready for you. This means that you can arrive at your convenience on the day of your booking. There are two bedrooms each with a double bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinets. The kitchen has a gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. There are all the utensils, cutlery and crockery that you’ll need for your stay. The bathroom has a bath with a power shower, toilet and wash basin. There is a large living room and dining area. The living room has a comfortable sofa and bucket seat and it has a smart TV so you can watch your favourite Netflix and amazon accounts whilst you’re here as well as other channels. You can also access the internet via the TV. The Wifi name is The Wifi password is: pnyUGuM3prn. There is also an ironing board and iron. There is a rear garden area which backs out onto a car parking area. The apartment is in close proximity of the town centre and is in walking distance of the Gallagher retail park, Glandford Park - home to Scunthorpe United and many restaurants and shops. There is easy access to the motorway plus the town centre is a 5 minute drive away. There are plenty of local and regional landmarks such as the Humber bridge to see.

    A private room at the front of a tastefully furnished family home with shared facilities. Within 10 minute walk local shops include:- Co Op supermarket, post office, chemist, hairdressers, barbers, Indian restaurant, pizza parlour, fish and chip shop. Lincoln, Doncaster, Cleethorpes, Grimsby and Hull are all within 40 minutes drive away. The house is on a circular bus route with good local rail links.
    A spacious single room, at the front of the property in my home. The room has TV, WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, study area and plenty of storage. A light, serve yourself breakfast of beverages, cereals, toast and preserves is included in the price. Please note: This is my home and I let out a double room also. The bathroom, kitchen and dining room are shared, so the need to keep these places tidy is important for us and other guests. There is a lovely back porch with seating overlooking the garden, for the warmer months, with plenty of bird activity.
    I live in a housing estate with a bus stop 2 minutes away. The hospital and Steel works are only 3 miles away. By car you can be in the Lincolnshire countryside within 5 minutes. Local sights include:- Normanby Hall, Gainsborough Old Hall, Lincoln Castle and Cathedral.
  • Kari is a warm and friendly host. She is very clear around what she expects from her guests, it's her home, and I liked that because there is no space for misunderstandings and 'awkward moments'. She absolutely went above and beyond what I expected. Many thanks Kari.

  • This is my second time staying with Kari and already it feels like a home away from home. Kari is a great host, very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The house is a great location for me while visiting family in the UK. The nightly fee include's a continental breakfast which was great too.   • We kept home with a welcoming host. Kari is happy to interact with you but if preferred will also give you your own space. Was given my own shelf in the fridge and a cupboard shelf for food etc. Plenty of storage in the room itself, which also has kettle, tea and biscuits!

    My place is close to the town centre of this historic little market town, but very quiet in the countrside. TV and kettle in the room. There is a parking space. It is good for the monthly farmers market, Lincoln, Hull, Beverly or the coast. Lots of cafes, pubs and small shops. A good place to relax. Easy travel to Hull City of Culture events. Please note the nearest railway station is Barnetby. Transport can be arranged. Continental breakfast is offered.
    Two bedrooms available, one under another listing. This double bedroom has own T.V. The main bathroom has just been modernised and is light and airy, a separate toilet; also a shower room with wash basin and toilet. A downstairs toilet available. Locks are now inside all bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets.
    A quiet road leading to fields.
  • Helen is very welcoming, relaxed & communicates with you well. Place is spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, access to kitchen. If you have played hockey, this is the place to go & reminisce.
