Beautiful old renovated house in historic South Hobart, close to South Hobart shops including a number of restaurants and pubs. The house is 25-30 minutes walk from the Hobart wharf/Salamanca /Hobart city. The house itself is warm and friendly with 3 to 4 good sized bedrooms and a large, sunny open plan kitchen, dinning, lounge area with (in winter) a clear view of beautiful Mt Wellington. A playground, basketball/tennis courts and oval are just around the corner. Great location for kids.

The bake house is a unique historical building circa 1880 that has been converted into contemporary accomodation. It is part of a precinct of three buildings, all relating the same function of supporting "Watson's" Bakery in the shop facing Macquarie street (now a funky homewares shop). The Waiting Room

The apartment is situated in a 150 year old Weld Street property. The apartment itself was used during the 1900 as a waiting room for coaches heading South (hence the name!). 25 Weld Street had many uses over the years which include a boxing ring, home for a stevedore family as well as a home for a goats and possums. More recently (after years of renovations) the place has been a printmaking studio, cinema as well as a party venue for MONA owner David Walsh.

Our unique barn style studio has amazing views over Hobart and the entry of the southern ocean. Close to the CBD but also quiet and close to bush tracks. It is self contained with a private entrance , a private large deck and a self check in lockbox for the keys so no contact is required with the hosts. They are in a seperate building on the same property so available if needed.
