  • What you're getting here is basically a hotel suite for less than the price of a Travelodge. It's brilliant! Spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable bed, it's got everything you could want and Deb was a very welcoming and helpful host. Definitely recommended.

  • Deborah is hands down the BEST host I have ever come across on Airbnb... And I've been using Airbnb across the globe for years now! The Beach House is an amazing space, full of more home comforts than my own house! I cannot recommend this place higher. My only nervousness was perhaps not having some privacy - but that was wrong. The Beach House has it's own entrance and all the privacy you could ask for. During my stay (which was a short get out of the city type break for 2 people) - the saying "be more like Deb" became the line of the visit! It is genuine testiment to the sort of 'beyond what I thought was necessary' type of hospitality this place offers. I CANNOT RECOMMEND IT HIGHER.... (And I'm normally very fussy!) All the best Deb - thank you so so much for your hospitality.

    One bedroom recently refurbished, self-contained cabin with freestanding bath, shower, lounge with log burner and kitchen (fridge, microwave and kettle). Underfloor heating throughout. Nespresso coffee machine. HD TV with full Sky Q package and Netflix Gas BBQ with side burner. The bedroom has a double bed and the option of either or both a travel cot and single futon which would be suitable for an older child. Situated at the end of a garden, surrounded by fields, this is a peaceful idyllic location to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

  • Booked one night last-minute by myself - what a lovely cabin! Secluded enough to feel really private and spacious, but close enough to the main house to not feel isolated. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and with thoughtful little touches (such as hair straighteners, toiletries and a coffee machine), this is a good spot for a relaxing break. With the free-standing bath and log burner, its so romantic I’ll definitely be coming back with the other half at some point, and it would be a lovely secure place to bring kids for a break too. Couldn’t fault the hospitality, location or communication, and will definitely return. Thanks Gemma!

  • The cabin is set in a lovely secluded and peaceful location. Cabin itself is stylish, fresh and modern inside with some personal touches and an amazing wood burner which made the cabin warm and cosy in the evening. Bed was very comfortable. Guest information pack provided which was very detailed and helpful. Didn't go out as we wanted to enjoy the peace and calm away from our busy household of kids and 3 dogs, so ordered a takeaway which was delivered to our cabin door. Really hope to visit again soon. Thank you to Gemma and her husband.

    The Annexe sits on a wonderful 3 acre plot in a semi rural location accessed by a private lane around a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to Billericay high street or train station which has numerous quaint pubs , shops and variety of restaurants Billericay train to London Liverpool Street takes 25 minutes approximately Our bungalow has recently been refurbished with most electrical appliances, bed and linen and wardrobe brand new The kitchen is equipped with oven,grille and hob , kettle,microwave and toaster and range of utensils also Ironing board , iron and hairdryer A good size separate adjoining utility room ideal for a longer stay with washing machine and tumble dryer and air dryer with plenty room for storage Continental style breakfast
    This is a great area for walking in beautiful countryside to pretty villages like Stock or Ingatestone or to local parks or along the river wid.

    The property has parking and its own private entrance which leads to an open plan lounge and kitchen (oven,hob,fridge,kettle,toaster and microwave). It has a 42inch tv with freeview and french doors to the rear which overlook the garden and farmland beyond. The bedroom has a double bed and desk and a newly fitted en-suite shower room.
    The property is down a quiet road but within 2 miles of Billericay high street.

    My home is located in a lovely and calm cul-de-sac just a 5 minute drive from Billericay high street. The main train line at Billericay has regular trains to Stratford and Liverpool Street in London taking roughly 35 minutes. I look forward to welcoming you soon!
    There are two guest bedrooms; one is a double room with a standard size double bed. The other has a single bed. **Please indicate at time of booking whether you require both rooms - there will be a £25 additional fee for the second bedroom which can be paid via Airbnb.** Both rooms are next to each other and are light, spacious, clean and fresh. Please note on the odd occasion, there may be other guests staying in the house. I have two bathrooms and I’ll always allocate one for Airbnb guests - it’s not an en-suite but is immediately next to the double room. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen - there are usually a few bits for breakfast, plus teas and coffees are always available so please help yourself! Amenities are provided - clean towels, shower gel, hair dryer etc. If there’s ever anything you need I’ll always do my best to help. I have a large reception room, open plan kitchen and garden and I encourage guests to make themselves feel at home 😊 The house is also home to two small West Highland dogs (Westies are hypo-allergenic so should be ok for those with allergies).
    Billericay is a small town, set in well-wooded countryside. Nearby is Norsey Wood Nature Reserve, Mill Meadows Nature Reserve, Stock Brook Country Club and Crondon Park Golf Club. Billericay is part of the London commuter belt. It’s served by a railway station connecting to both London and Southend. It’s also close to two primary routes: the A12 and the A127.

    Beautiful bedroom in Victorian Cottage close to Ingatestone, Essex. My property is located approx 3/4 mile from Ingatestone village center and Ingatestone station on the main line to London. Journey time to London Liverpool St is 30 minutes. The property has a very large garden (3 acres) and Carlos my friendly black Labrador will be in residence during your stay. The local area is well known for excellent walks and 1 of 2 village pubs is 500 yards away
    Beautifully furnished bedroom with very comfortable king sized bed and high quality bedding. A separate private toilet and bathroom with bath and separate shower are next to the bedroom and for the sole use of guests. There is a walk in wardrobe with plenty of space and hangers provided. There is also a hairdryer and bath and hand towels are provided. Free fibre BT broadband is provided. Guests will also have use of the kitchen, including their own fridge, which comprises all the usual utilities and a gas range oven. Well furnished dining room and sitting room are also available to be shared with the home owner. I like to make my guests feel at home and not tucked away in their room. Large outdoor space with a formal garden, topiary garden and large paddock is available with plenty of off street parking in an enclosed courtyard. The property is located in a beautiful rural setting with lots of local walks close by. These are a mixture of open fields, bridleways and forest and can be accessed by foot from the house. I enjoy many walks in the local area with my black labrador Carlos who will be in residence.
    Countryside location with great local woodland and open field walks. A short drive to all the amenities of Ingatestone and the station for easy travel into London. In very close proximity to the house are two excellent local pubs. The first of these is 500 yards on foot. For dining out there are another 5 or 6 local pubs and restaurants available within a 15 minute drive. I’m always happy to discuss the options and provide some recommendations for my guests or book a table on your behalf. In Ingatestone there are all the usual amenities. 2 medium sized supermarkets, bakery, a lovely deli serving breakfast and many independent shops. There are also superb Indian and modern British restaurants which I regularly eat at. The wedding venues of Hylands House, Crondon Park, Stockbrook Manor and Ingatestone Hall are all within a 15 minute drive which makes this a great base for a wedding weekend.

    This newly refurbed apartment is in the heart of the village of Stock, nestled between Billericay and Chelmsford, Essex. It's ideal for short term, holiday rental and business stays. There are two bedrooms, one is the main bedroom and has a double bed. The second has two single beds. Our living area also has a double sofa bed, creating room for up to six occupants. Both bedrooms have ensuite facilities. Stock is a popular village with award winning pubs and a boutique style bistro/cafe below.
    Our apartment is located above the villages popular local bistro Dandelion and Burdock, providing excellent Breakfast/ Brunch and Lunch.
    We have three country pubs, and local shops, and plenty of country walks.

    Perfect for long stays and very popular with people renovating their own houses and visiting family in Essex from abroad. Bordering Billericay and the picturesque village of Stock, The bungalow is situated in a semi rural location, set back from one of Billericays most prestigious roads. The property stands on a five acre plot accessed down a long gravel drive, with adjoining fields and a well stocked fishing lake affording privacy, peace, tranquility and a lovely view.
    The bungalow incorporates a fully fitted kitchen diner, full bathroom with separate shower unit and double ended bath, large double bedroom, large lounge and conservatory. With modern solid oak furnishings in the bedroom and lounge and wicker furniture in the conservatory standing on a solid oak floor. The kitchen, hall and bathroom stand on a polished black slate floor.
    The Stock Brook Country Club with its 27 hole championship golf course is within walking distance and Crondon Park Golf and Country Club is only a few minutes drive. Both venues also have established reputations as being premier wedding venues in Essex. Norsey woods is a few minutes walk away. A locally sourced farm shop, butcher and Barleylands craft village is also only a short drive from the property. The vibrant town of Billericay has excellent shopping, easy parking and an ample choice of restaurants and pubs. The high street is a 20 minute walk from the property. The Idyllic village of Stock with is many pubs and restaurants dating back to the 14th century is a must for any visitor to the area. We are also only thirty minute drive from Southend sea front if you fancy a day at the coast.

  • I stayed at Andy's place for just of a week with my family, and we really enjoyed staying there. The bungalow is located down a long tree lined drive, behind a barn, and facing open fields and a garden on two sides. It is a good size for two to four people (having one bedroom and at least one sofa bed), and is furnished nicely with modern solid wood furniture in most rooms. The living room is large and comfortable, and the conservatory was large, warm and sunny. You really get a strong feeling of being in the countryside; whilst also not feeling isolated, since there is another house and the working barn nearby. Andy as very responsive to all my messages, and he or his family/colleagues were living and working nearby, so we felt well supported by them. On the downsides, I would mention that it was about 30 minutes from the station, but the walk was pleasant enough. Also, there is a single toilet in the bathroom, so that did cause a bit of queuing in the morning when the shower or bath was in use. I highly recommend this property, and will definitely look it up when I stay in Billericay in the future.

    A first floor bedroom in a small, quiet pleasant Edwardian semi-detached house in a quiet street. You can walk to just about anywhere in the city from the property. A park and museum, Aldi and Tesco, large range of cafes, restaurants, cinemas and shops ten minutes walk , swimming pools, ice rink and mainline station only 20 minutes. Anglia Ruskin University is about 25 minutes walk. Street lights are on from 5am to midnight, 1am at weekends.
    Everyone who walks in my house says how lovely it is. Tea and coffee making in the room.
    The up and coming city of Chelmsford has everything from cafes and cinemas to ice rinks and museums, international restaurants and major shops. And its all only ten minutes walk from the property. Whether you are coming for a work engagement, visit to Anglia Ruskin university, to see friends or to be within relatively easy access of London but escaping the hustle and bustle at night, this is a good location.

  • Very comfortable home in a quiet and safe area. Clean and spacious. Bedroom is large with plenty of space to unpack and relax. Bed comfy and room quiet with tv, large closet area, windows. water kettle and coffee/tea set up with bottled water. Bathroom large with tub/shower and big vanity with make up mirror. Also very clean. Lots of hot water and towels. Loved being able to use the washer for laundry. Expect a sweet friendly doggie; she was a lot of fun and company in the morning while we ate breakfast. Scenic views out the patio and back of the house overlooking a green area. Yard is well maintained and well kept. Excellent dedicated parking at the Airbnb. Didn’t get much of a chance to explore writtle but did enjoy a delicious fish and chips shop within walking distance of the house. Food plentiful and reasonable price for takeaway. Easy and close drive to Chelmsford are, yet away from city bustle. Excellent location for Hylands Park area. Easy access to motorways and close to local Tesco for shopping essentials. Aiveen was very hospitable and was excellent in communications. She and Richard respected our privacy during our stay and made our visit enjoyable. Would definitely recommend staying with Aiveen. Beautiful clean home and gracious hosts.

    My home is situated in a quiet area with ample off road parking. I have a large garden which backs on to a park with plenty of wildlife. The room available is a good sized double which overlooks the garden and has all the amenities you would need for a restful stay. Whether this is for pleasure or business from one night to a few nights. If you don't drive it is on a bus route within a 10 min journey to the city centre.
    I have a very quiet conservatory which overlooks the garden if you need to relax or to sit and read or listen to music which you are more than welcome to use in your stay.
    We are lucky to have a park at the bottom of the garden and a small shopping centre a short 5 min walk through the park . This varies from post office , hair dressers,butchers,local coffee shops and a few others. Again all accessible to the city centre from there via the bus route .

    Please note that this is a single bed with a single bed. Tastefully decorated in fresh grey colour and Paper flowers on the far wall. Very comfortable firm orthopeadic mattrass on the bed with plenty of storage for your stay. I don't have a shower at the moment and the house is therefore not suited to anyone that can not get in and out of the bath tub or anyone that has a preference to only use a shower. The Bathroom has a Bathtub that is available for your use otherwise.
    Perfect also if in Basildon for a few nights, either for work locally or holiday in Essex and London without paying London rental rates. It is located within 5 minutes of walking into the town centre and supermarket. The bus station is also within 5--8 minutes walk depending on your pace. The main hospitals (Basildon and The Essex Cardiothorasic Centre are about 20 minutes walk or you can jump on the bus that takes 5 minutes). Train station is just opposite bus station which is about 8 minutes walk from the house. If driving, Parking is available but please let me know if you will be driving because I would need to get you guest parking or show you where free parking is within 1 minute of walking to the house. No need to drive to town centre as the house is located near town centre. Trains form Basildon take 35-40 minutes to Central London and are very reliable. In Summer you will have access to use the garden and Conservatory. The house is not modern but it is a home.
    Very quiet neighbourhood, house is facing greenery at the front, which is perfect for dog walking and children to run around as there is no road in front of the house.

Derek has created a really relaxing and ambient atmosphere and the house is modern, fresh and very warm and comfortable. The neighbourhood is very quiet so a great place to get a good night's sleep. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were all modern. comfortable and nicely laid out. I like cooking meals and the kitchen set-up was ideal for that, and there was a nice little breakfast bar where you can relax over a meal and drink whilst listening to your favourite station on the radio. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay whilst on a work trip or just visiting the area. Thanks again , and top marks Derek!

    Hello! A single bedroom is available in a shared house with only two other people. The whole house is clean, modern and very quiet. Located in central Basildon. Just a 15 minute walk to Basildon hospital, Basildon town centre and Basildon train station. The number 5 bus stops nearby and goes into Basildon town centre. Please note we have a very small friendly dog.
    The single bedroom comes equipped with fresh bed linen, towels, a TV and a wardrobe. You will have access to the bedroom, bathroom, toilet and kitchen. There is a separate toilet and bathroom and the bathroom has a shower and bath. Kitchen has all amenities and guests can help themselves to tea and coffee. All common areas are immaculate and kept very clean. WiFi is available throughout the house. There is on street parking available along the road.

    We are only a five min walk to all the bars and restaurants . 10 mins to hylands park and 5 mins, Oaklands Park. The university is 5 mins by car. We are very central for everything if you are walking, and if by car I have parking. By Train: Westfield Stratford City 28 minutes London Liverpool Street 35 minutes Kings Cross St Pancras 50 minutes By Car: M25 Jct. 28 19 minutes Stansted Airport 28 minutes Essex coast 33 minutes Ebbsfleet Eurostar 40 minutes
    You would have access to kitchen (for breakfast )and main bathroom . We have a garden and off street parking.
    3 min walk to Moulsham Street , lots of bars and restaurants with a great atmosphere

The hosts communicated well with me while I was making my plans, and I knew exactly what to expect.     Double bedroom with King Size bed (very comfortable memory foam mattress) for 2 guests in luxury,clean, comfortable & pleasant house & neighbourhood in Brentwood. The Station is only 10 mins walk away, where train to London runs every 10 mins (7 mins past the hour). The High street is only 15 mins walk away. Warley business park, Sky & BT Openreach are within 5-15 mins walk. The sugar Hut, where The Only Way is Essex is set, is within 15 mins walk . Very relaxed and laissez-faire atmosphere.
    The neighbourhood is tranquil, serene , peaceful and one of the most desirable places to live in Brentwood. The train station is 10 minutes walk away (about 700 metres) . Carry on walking for another 7-8 minutes for the High St where you'll find a wide array of pubs, wine bars, and restaurants. There is a Tesco Express within 250 mtrs. Sainsburys and Marks and Spencer are at the back of the High St and on the High Street respectively. The DW fitness centre, which has a heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc, is literally 4 minutes walk away. If you like the outdoors, there are numerous parks and woodlands within very close proximity of the house.

    This comfortable and modern studio is sited on our family run farm. Rural Location. There is a nearby village shop and petrol station with Marks and Spencers. Village cricket ground. 3 pubs all serving great food. West Horndon and Shenfield Station with trains traveling to London regularly. Fords at Dunton approximately 3 miles away.     The open plan Studio has a kitchen area with Cooker and microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. It is well equipped if you wish to cook yourselves. The lounge area has a comfortable leather sofa to relax in and watch tv.
    Studio 102 is part of our farm, with our second Airbnb ‘Farmers Cottage’ . we are on a tarmac road with easy access to the village and main access roads A128, A127 and M25 all very close. There are many walks from here and we are close to Thorndon Park, South Weald and Warley Place. RHS Hyde Hall is a little drive away but well worth a visit.

  • A contemporary studio with privacy with a beautiful outlook over farmland ,with sheep in the field but more than that with excellent hosts who are their immediately resolving any issue and who provide personal touches eg christmas decorations ,special treats sweets a basket of goodies and an amazing selection of breakfasts and a freezer full of excellent homemade dinners, if you choose .Super host doesnt cover the excellent and excemplary Host Stephnie and her husband David are.This is our 2nd stay and we will be back time after time .

    Cozy double room in a clean family house in the heart of Pitsea. My home is spacious and comfortable with a blend of traditional and modern decor. The room comes with free Wifi access and a flat screen t.v with Sky connection
    The house is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Pitsea, just walking distance to the Pitsea Flea Market. 5mins Fromm ERR college. Pitsea Train Station is 10-15 mins walk away and it provides direct link to Central London (FenChurch Street), which takes approximately 40 minutes. You can also take the train to Southend-on-Sea, which has a lovely waterfront, lots of restaurant options and a lively night life. If you want to stay in Basildon, I am just 10 minutes drive away from the Festival Leisure Center (movie theater, restaurants, bowling etc) and Basildon Town center (shopping mallPost Code is SS13 2ER).

    Really comfortable, large, modern suite with double bedroom with a king-size bed. Contactless access and exit as part of COVID-19 safeguarding. Wardrobe in hall. Modern, tiled shower room next to the bedroom, all set in an annex of the main house so totally private. Parking on the front drive behind electric gates so really secure. Would suit a couple, children welcome if you have your own bedding for them. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and filtered water provided.
    You access via your own door so come and go as you please. Walking distance to Chelmsford town centre (20 minute walk or bus stop directly outside house). There are regular trains in to London. There are two parks within a short walk, Hylands and Oaklands.
