Super host. Very nice, even going out of her way to let me know about what was happening in town and beyond, such as a historical wall mural project. She welcomed me in a caring way to use her kitchen and dining room. Her dog Jazzy is lovely. Taryn always had the lights on when I came home late. I can't say enough about her great hosting skills. We also had great conversations, and I just felt like I was at my home away from home.

A lovely small room with private half bath (shower across the hall). Taryn is friendly but gives you the space you need.

Great place to stay while visiting Keene. The host, Taryn, is super friendly and outgoing. The wonderful pet dog, Jazz, will be there to greet you. . Easy access to the town and Keene State Campus. The bedroom, although small, was neat and clean and comfortable making me feel right at home.

Dan’s farmhouse was the perfect romantic winter getaway. It offered everything you could expect from the cozy and warm setting of a family farmhouse to a fire going in the wood stove to the sprawling hills and pine trees of the property. It had the perfect home away from home feel. Meeting Dan and seeing his love for this place added the finishing touches along with the dozens of beautiful photos showing all the years and generations of love and family throughout the home. An essential and classic New England experience to the fullest. Can’t wait to go back!

I stayed with Michael for a month. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed, a tv, and a small couch. There is a full kitchen with everything you need for meal preparation. Michael was very respectful of my privacy, and responded to my messages very quickly. It doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to walk to Central Square and down Main Street where there are great restaurants, cute cafes, and specialty stores. I enjoyed my stay with him and would definitely stay with him again.

Everything here is exactly as advertised. Space was VERY clean and well appointed. Absolutely perfect size for a quick stay of up to 2 people. I would not stay here with any sort of larger group. Check in was easy and the place had everything I needed for a two night stay. Just a few blocks away from restaurants, shopping etc.

Michael's apartment is great for a weekend or short stay: walking distance to town, modest-sized kitchen and super clean. We had a problem with the heat and Michael responded to our text in less than 5 minutes and immediately resolved the issue. Only caveat is that there are steep stairs leading up to the apartment, so if mobility is an issue for your or someone in your party, this would not be a good choice. But otherwise, this is a superb value.

Michael's place is cozy, cute, and was a great choice for my one night stay in Keene. The radiator does get very loud sometimes, but with my white noise machine I brought, my boyfriend and I were able to sleep just fine. The apartment had everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay. Overall, I would definitely recommended this place!

Bonnie and Abe are sweethearts! Their space is sparkling clean and has thoughtful touches everywhere! She went the extra mile; buying some chocolate covered strawberries for my wife's birthday which coincided with our stay! They were available but always gave us space and privacy. Matter of fact it was as though the space was in another house altogether. The space is thoughtfully furnished! Bed is incredibly comfortable. Area has a small but tasteful living room with pull out couch and tv and such. Bathroom is spotless and furnished with everything a guest would need. The house is easy to find and a walking/short driving distance from restaurants and entertainment. If ever in Keene again, I know where I'll stay. My wife and I both loved it!

This AirBNB was amazing! The decor was lovely with authentic charm and complimenting colors. It was very clean and well maintained. There communication before and during our stay was exceptional. The extra amenities such as bottled water, Keurig coffee/tea, mini fridge and bathroom toiletries were thoughtfully provided. They even provided bathrobes, cloth slippers and eye masks, for lounging or relaxing. The electric mini fireplace provided a cozy New England feel to the room. We especially enjoyed the separate/adjoining sitting area. We look forward to staying again!

To stay at the Aaron Seaman House in Keene, New Hampshire was unique opportunity while visiting this small college town. The historic home has charm and warmth, with personal touches made by Bonnie and Abe. The room and sitting area is warm, bright, welcoming, and provides provincial colonial charm and comfort to the weary traveler. From the personal touches of maple candies on the bed, a welcome note on things to know, and a slate board for a personalized message welcoming you, this was a genuine diamond of a find. I most enjoyed my stay here, and would highly recommend it to anyone. I video-called my spouse to show her the space, and we wish to visit sometime in the summer to enjoy the town of Keene and to stay here at the Aaron Seaman House.

Great little place right outside of town. Perfect for a walk to get a coffee or something to eat from any of the neat restaurants in the area.

Located right in the middle of town, just off the square, this little apt could not be more convenient. Let’s see: clean, neat, crisp, easily accessible, parking, great directions. Perhaps the stairs are a tiny bit steep. But honestly, I would stay again any time. Patti is right there to answer should you need anything. And pet friendly. That’s a huge plus ❤️

The Phineas is in a prime location convenient to Main Street. Patti was a very responsive host and helpful as I was looking for apartments. I would stay here again.

Great Host!

Gay's apartment is a very cute space that had everything we needed to enjoy a night away from home. The loft bedroom was adorable, and so was the daybed and kitchen. My boyfriend and I were very comfortable there, and I would definitely recommend it! They also left a homemade chocolate coconut bar that was gluten free and dairy free, which was completely unexpected, but amazing because I have those dietary restrictions! Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

This is a lovely first floor unit with lots of privacy. The bedroom is in a second floor loft but there is also a daybed on the first floor. The kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with many thoughtful touches to make the place more welcoming. We loved the exposed beams, comfy flannel linens and beautiful views! The sulphur content in the water is pretty high so someone with a sensitivity might be uncomfortable, but we didn't mind it. Gay was great about communicating and very responsive when we had a question. We definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay for a few days!

A perfect spot for a 1 night ski vacation. Gay was outside to greet us and she was very flexible about check in because of a snow storm. Very clean are with only a 20 minute drive in to Brattleboro and less than an hour to mount snow. Would recommend.

The perfect spot for a long weekend getaway! Gay's place is very cozy and well stocked with lovely touches like tea/coffee, they even included fresh butter and half&half in the fridge. It is conveniently located off the main road in Putney, perfect for exploring the Brattleboro/Bellows Falls area. Would be delighted to stay here again!

Gay’s place was exactly how it was described - very comfortable, nice kitchen with everything we needed, comfortable bed and daybed. They were able to run a Ethernet cable for us to stream on our computer with no issues. Overall clean and tidy, would stay again.

Terrific property with hosts that go the extra mile!!

Fred and Richele are great hosts! This place has a great bang for the buck and who doesn't love waking up to the view of the beautiful mountains. We have stayed in the yurt they offer, which is awesome, very unique! This time I rented a simple campsite on the property. It's rustic but it works and the price is right. Very pretty scenery too! It's close to Keene State College which worked out great as I was in town to visit my son who is a student there. This is not a campground, but a cool small skiing and tubing hill for the locals! So go on up, pitch a tent, and do some snow tubing or share a beer with the friendly hosts. FYI, there is only an outdoor shower. This was the only drawback as the temps are already dropping here in October. Not a deal-breaker, just something to be aware of.

This is a camping spot on a very flat and well-mowed spot of a small local skiing and tubing hill. There is a small camping ring (bring your own wood), a picnic table at the spot, and you can use the guest bathroom in the ski lodge as well as the outdoor shower complete with hot water. This is no frills, but it is a gated, safe space in a beautiful location within a few minutes drive of Otter Creek State Park (and a beach), and very close to Keene, NH. The bathroom is clean, the shower is private, and it was perfect for us. We actually slept on a futon mattress in our Honda van, and we got an excellent night's sleep in this peaceful location. Route 9 runs by the ski lodge, but there are trees buffering the traffic, so it doesn't feel like you are exposed to the road traffic at all. It was white noise at night, and we didn't notice any big rigs or loud traffic noise. Richele is responsive and gave us very clear instructions on accessing the area and there were clear signs pointing us to our spot. It was beautiful at night. The stars were a sky dome and the crickets made nice night music. Great spot if you know the weather is going to hold!

Easy to follow directions to get to the camp site and the host was very helpful. We got a bit frazzled after arriving in the dark on bicycle due to some bad luck and a couple of flat tires in a row..and when we contacted them on the phone they guided us through getting into the gate w/ no issues. It was also really great to camp at a place with a real common area for bathrooms/showering after having spent the previous night at a more rustic site. Good for stargazing. A nitpick would be that the road it's next to is pretty busy. But, we knew that when we decided to camp there...so, it wasn't exactly unexpected. Great location only ~5 miles from the center of Keene.

Great campsite...lots of room. In a nice grassy field...very open. Mostly quiet but could hear some road traffic. Bathroom clean and outdoor shower nice. Would recommend for camping.

Andrea's place is cozy, clean, and a perfect retreat from it all! It is also close to everything the area has to offer. We love staying here!

Cozy and spacious apartment for two of us! We loved the in-floor heating and gentle dog who came to say hi to us at our door. The town of Putney is very cute with Brattleboro just down the road!

A great find for a weekend away!

The place had everything one would need while away (except a microwave). It was very quiet and peaceful but occasionally could hear footsteps from upstairs. Andrea quickly replied whenever I texted and yet was patient when I took time to reply due to being away from my phone. The place is as described and would recommend it for any types of getaway including romantic ones. It was one for me and newly hubby.

Andrea’s apartment was perfect for our weekend away. The kitchen was great for making breakfast in the morning and the walk down to the river was a great way to start the day.

The place is very comfortable, clean, and modern. The walk down behind the house to the stream was quite beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and Andrea, the host, was a sweetheart.

Our first Airbnb and the apartment location was peaceful. Sweet, roomy, comfy and cozy all in one. Our last day met owner and sweet daughter and Milo. I would definitely stay here and recommend this Airbnb to family and friends who plan to visit Vermont.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Rebecca's cosy home. Rebecca is very kind, generous and talkative - couldn't ask for a better host. The house is situated in a nice neighbourhood, and the bedroom and bathroom are nice, clean and spacious. I give it my best recommendations!

The host, Lindsay, is so kind and really helped us about to discover whats around. This place is cute, quite and comfortable.

Lindsay was an incredible host, quick to communicate about logistics and provides a very pleasant and quaint room.

The space was exactly as described. I appreciated the privacy/private entrance, comfy bed and all of the extra amenities – a mini-frig, microwave, coffee-maker and, most especially, the fresh fruit, coffee and milk. The only minor issue I had (which has more to do with my being an extremely light sleeper than the accommodations) was the wall next to the bed apparently abuts either an entrance way or a room in the main house and several times I could hear peoples' conversations and doors being opened and closed.

Lindsay's place was absolutely perfect for our family. So clean, warm ( and it was COLD out!) cozy and comfortable. Communication was easy, clear and timely. She greeted us with an easy warm welcome. We felt so at home. After a day of travel and out door exploration we were ready to snuggle in and watch tv. Perfectly relaxing with a nice cup of tea and toast. She even left out chocolates for us. The coffee looked inviting as well, smelling so good! I would highly recommend a stay in Lindsay's home. Hope to return sometime!

Very quaint and cozy place. Everything was as listed. Easy access and great communication. It’s a short walk to downtown, for some great food and shops. Highly recommended! It was very nice to meet Lindsay and chat for few mins.

This was a very nice experience. I'm not what you would call a camper, but they offer just enough comfort that I was very comfortable. Nice comfy bed. A ton of room in the yurt There is a nice stream out in the backyard. Also, the beach was a 5-minute drive and was a nice peaceful experience. The outdoor shower was a very cool experience. My dog could roam off-leash all these beautiful hills. What made the stay so great was the host Rochelle. We had pretty serious car trouble and she was so gracious to us - she went above and beyond what any host would ever do to help us. I recommend and will return.

Sue‘s space was everything I could have hoped for. The shared spaces in the house are warm and inviting and the bedroom was charming. The shared bath was easy to work around. I enjoyed getting to know the others I shared the space with and Sue herself is a delightful hostess. Delightful amenities included a cozy shared TV/reading space with a gas stove, coffee cake and fruit for morning breakfasts, an array of coffees and teas. The stairs were a non issue for me but if you have a lot of “stuff” to carry in you might want to find lodging on a ground floor. Keene itself has so much going on. I can’t wait to return and I will certainly plan my trip around availability at Sue’s place.

Sue's house is wonderful. It's located an easy drive from downtown Keene in a lovely neighborhood. I enjoyed my drive to and from the house. And the room is cozy and comfy. Sue goes out of her way to make you comfortable. There were always little snacks in the kitchen and other extra amenities. I shared a bathroom, but never ran into the other guests, so it was almost like my own. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Olga and Norbert's place is located close to the center of Keene, and convenient to Antioch, where I was teaching for the weekend. The room is clean and welcoming, with a refrigerator and a coffee machine. I didn't mind the steep stairs at all.

Olga and Norbert were wonderful hosts. The cozy room is as sweet as it looks, photos are true. The view out of the window is of hills and trees perfect for leaf watching. I stayed for a week during a training at Antioch University. The location is 10 minute walk to the school and 10 minutes into the beautiful Main Street Keen. Shops, art and yummy dining options. It was such a pleasure spending time with Olga and Norbert, they are lovely hosts and makes you feel like you are staying at your home away from home. How sweet simplicity can be.

This upstairs space is cozy and well suited for the solo traveler. I only once ever missed snagging the shared bathroom; it was usually readily available. During warmer than usual temperatures, it was a bit stuffy, but the supplied fan helped immensely. Closet space would have been nice, and the stairs are pretty steep and narrow, uncomfortably so for anyone with mobility problems or amply-sized. The hosts are very sweet and genuinely helpful. Parking is free and easy in this quiet residential neighborhood. Several restaurants at different price points are about a fifteen-minute walk away.

Barbara's is a grand old home in excellent condition, and she is warm and welcoming. Very comfortable stay, with a host that goes out of her way to make you feel at home.

My time at Barbara’s wonderful home was more of an experience than a stay. The home is such a lovely older antiqued home that has been restored and kept up so beautifully. Barbara is one of the most wonderful host you could have through the Airbnb experience. I would definitely stay there again given the chance.

My Dad actually stayed this time. It was everything I had explained to him. He will definitely stay there on his next trip to Vermont. Great value for the money.

Barbara is the nicest person on the planet and couldn’t be more hospitable and accommodating. She went above and beyond in a near crisis situation for me. Her communication before with advice during my visit was exceptional. Bellows Falls is charming and the location of her magnificent home is perfect. I’ve had many, many fabulous Airbnb experiences and visited Vermont several times, but my stay far exceeded my expectations.

Michele is easy to communicate with and is eager to make you feel comfortable in her home.

Michele was friendly and accommodating of my late arrival. I had forgotten to bring my own towel, so she helpfully let me use one of hers. The construction of the house was indeed paused while I was there, but guests should know that the full bathroom on the floor with the bedroom had no door.

During my stay in Michele's sweet home I felt warm, comfortable and welcome. It was a pleasure to meet Michele and her daughter and their lovely brood of dogs and cats! Such beautiful energy in this house hold. Thanks again for welcoming me!

Michele was a lovely host. Very kind and friendly, the house was absolutely darling. It was nice to leave and come back to a greeting by one of the cats, and the pups were very sweet and laid back too. The futon was comfortable! I mostly spent my time here sleeping, but I felt very relaxed and welcomed during my stay. Would highly recommend to a young traveling female. Michele’s abode is just steps from downtown Keene, and she was so very helpful in making suggestions for things to do locally. Thank you again Michele!

Quaint and cozy New Englander, complete with friendly cats and dogs that greet you at the door. The second-floor room is just right for one person, with ample lighting, shelves, and a place to hang some things. I recommend bringing your favorite pillow to go with the futon experience : ) Lovely bathroom and sitting area just outside your room. Front porch catches the early morning sun and overlooks the gardens - a perfect way to start your day. Host is very pleasant and helpful. Location is ideal for walking to downtown or the college campus. A great value.

This cabin is excellent! Very clean and well appointed - def a throwback to grandma's but will wifi, a grill and a microwave! Super clean and with new bathroom. The lake itself is one of the cleanest I've ever swum in and I loved the three mile walk/run around it. I could not have imaged a better or more perfect get away and Jen was the perfect host. We will be back!

This place was adorable! The house was the perfect size for me and my three friends to take a vacation for the weekend. The view at the lake was beautiful and serene. The house, around 15 minutes away from Keene, was the perfect location to be removed from everything, yet close enough to the town that we could easily go out to dinner or go shopping. Jen was also a wonderful host, who provided restaurant recommendations, directions to hiking trails, and was readily available when we needed. Her dog, Dobby, made frequent visits and we enjoyed his company very much. We will definitely be coming back!

Kathleen cabin was the perfect place to get away into nature during our trip to Vermont. Tucked away, it was the perfect place to enjoy the peace and quiet in her comfortable cabin. Kathleen was the perfect host even accommodating our late 9 pm arrival, and then graciously teaching us how to use her wood stove. The wood stove was the perfect touch to the clean and cozy cabin. Kathleen was quick to respond to questions through texts and calls and we can’t wait to be back. Thank you Kathleen!

The Cottage is a perfect retreat when you want to get away from it all. Kathleen is responsive to questions and ensures there is plenty of wood for the stove, tips for the area including having a flashlight for late afternoon walks and some supplies in the fridge (milk, granola, yogurt..). The bathtub with the view of the woods is heavenly and the bed was cozy and warm with another great view of the woods. It's rustic with the pleasures of on demand hot water, electricity and good cell service. My hardest decision was whether to sit up in the bedroom or down by the wood stove hearing it crackling.

Kathleen's place was absolutely fantastic! She was very communicative, kind, and flexible. Everything was incredibly clean - and just as described. Super adorable place, and perfect for a getaway. The town is nearby - with great restaurants and diners and lovely people. Will likely be back, and could not recommend more.

Kathleen’s cabin is tucked away in a quiet spot, surrounded by trees and close to everything in Putney. There are thoughtful touches to the cabin, a big bathroom and laundry (a nice touch for those, traveling. Grab a meal at the Coop or Store and take it back to a restful spot. This cabin served my needs well this trip to VT and Kathleen was a great host.

Christina's place was very homey and welcoming from the beginning. She left a complimentary bottle of wine which was a fantastic gesture. My dog loved it and the open space to run freely off-leash. The dogs (s) there were super friendly and energetic. They played for hours, and the people were quite friendly as well. Made for a great last minute getaway!

Everything about Christine and Joe’s place was great. It was a snowy day when we arrived, and the apartment was warm and inviting, and fully functional. Joe was kind and welcoming, and had even cleared and sanded the driveway for traction. Beautiful and enjoyable.

I was blown away at how much room there was. This is a quaint private apartment attached to the back side of the house surrounded by beautiful views. Location, location location. We stayed in this apartment for a month and a half. The location in Harrisville was perfect for us. Having access to the clean and beautiful Silver Lake right down the hill was perfect. Harrisville is one of the most beautiful tiny brick/mill towns on a lake that is still untouched by time. The General Store overlooks a picture perfect setting. I guarantee you will be taking pictures. If you like to run or walk, there's dirt roads around the lakes, or to remote ponds and old historic farm houses. Very little traffic in this area. A fifty mile hiking trail is down the road. Bring your fishing pole too. Farm stands will supply you with fresh local produce and pies. The apartment is sweet. It has everything you need. The kitchen that is shared with the owners is a big homey farm kitchen. Hans and Marcy are very friendly too. Their yard is huge with a tree house, hammocks, chair swings and plenty of cool stuff for children including a huge stage for plays. My grandchildren loved coming here. There's also blueberries, raspberries, huckleberries, blackberries and peaches. We really had a great time and highly recommend this Airbnb.

Valerie and Pablo are two lovely people with a lovely home. I greatly appreciated their company and conversation (not to mention, the company of their two dogs). The room I stayed in was tidy and immensely cozy for this nature-loving city dweller. In the morning, they offered a delicious and hearty breakfast, and they even let me play their guitars (the house is not short on musical instruments, for all the musicians out there). The best part of the stay was the warm vibe the home exuded. Valerie and Pablo have a chemistry that's impossible to fake, and the positive vibes (for lack of a more scientific term) were contagious. I would gladly stay there again.

This Airbnb is unique in the best ways. Valerie is so sweet, welcoming, thoughtful, and accommodating. She is truly a super host. The house is adorned with plants, sculptures, and art. Being the first guests there we got to choose our room for our stay, we fell in love with the middle room. It has a large bookcase that was filled with all sorts of literature and a window that looked out into the back yard which gave us a beautiful tree lined view of the sunrise. We greatly enjoyed our morning coffee with the wagging tails of Andre and Willa. We opted to use the hot tub which made for such a relaxing night star gazing in the middle of winter. Such a lovely stay, we will be back!

We decided for a quick getaway from Cambridge looking for be in contact with nature and get away from the city. Valerie and Pablo´s place was perfect for that. The house is very cozy, sparkling clean and Valerie and Pablo are amazing hosts. The room had beautiful details, the bed was very comfortable, so we had a good night's sleep before going skiing the next day. We had a very pleasant talk while they cooked us an exquisite breakfast and coffee prepared with freshly ground beans by Pablo the next morning. Oh! and they have 2 beautiful friendly dogs: Andre and Willa. We couldn´t try the hot tub under the moonlight because we stayed only one night but we will return to have that experience. We totally recommend this place!

Loved our time here! The place is super quaint and cozy yet new and sparkling clean. Very quiet and peaceful location. Great place to come to relax and re-charge. We came in the winter and got to enjoy the wood stove. Some really nice hiking close by. Full brand new kitchen with gas stove for those who enjoy cooking. Kathleen's home was everything I was hoping for and more! Her space is intionally currated to be welcoming, cozy, and tranquil. I came to Vermont looking to unwind and spend some time in the mountains. This cabin was the perfect place to do that. From walking around the grounds to local trails, the peace of nature was everywhere. The location was the perfect distance to see the Green Mountains as well as explore several quaint towns. Kathleen gave so many recomendations on where to eat and what to see in the area. It was so nice to have some local insight. I will be staying at Kathleen's again the next time I feel Vermont calling.

This place is beautiful and very relaxing. Perfect place to drink your coffee or glass of wine and stare out the huge windows or stand on the deck and observe the nature. Gail’s house is unique with its charm. She made it herself over 20 years. I was completely impressed. The room was better than I expected. It was cozy and had light. One of the windows overlooked a pond and the other window overlooked her garden in the woods. The bathroom bath/shower was beautiful. I wish I had a shower like that. The water pressure was good. Gail let me use her kitchen and when I was running late she cleaned up after me. Our conversations were interesting and fun. I always love getting to know the people who run Airbnb‘s. Five stars for her kindness and hospitality.

Gail's home is a gorgeous, comfortable, quiet, beautiful retreat into the woods. The location is ideal and her property is breathtaking. The natural surroundings are inspiring and incredible. Gail was a perfect host and she is a fantastic human being. She showed me all around, answered all of my questions, and gave me great suggestions for local flavor. Amazing place. Perfect for a couple or for a family of 3. John was very personable and was an earshot away if needed. He also knew some fun places to go to and the lake was very nice and overall a great stay!

The location was perfect for us because it was right on the lake and had shallow water to start and gradually got deeper. Our toddler was able to play safely in the water. Perfect place to be on a hot summer’s day.

John was extremely responsive, and gave me a warm in-person welcome. He was right next door to answer any questions. The place is perfect for someone traveling alone, or a couple. The outside of the cottage is shared. There is a private grill for guests of this cottage to use, and one firepit which is shared with 3 other cottages/houses. The outside deck faces Granite Lake, so you can view sunsets from your very own dining table/outside deck. Granite Lake has super clear water, and is a joy to swim in. Highly recommended!

Charming place with everything I needed for my weekend visit. Great location - close to everywhere I wanted to be and easy to find. The kitchenette was spotless and there was ample dresser and closet space for my things. The hostess was there when I arrived and, because she lives downstairs, was very available and friendly.
