Hugh and Jenny we're very helpful suggesting activities around the area as well giving us directions on how to get there. They are super friendly and a pleasure to talk to, would definitely stay there again.

Its really a great place to be. Jenny and Hugh were so great. We were supposed to stay for a night but the treatment from the lovely couple made us feel at home and extend our stay. Our night at Vince was great. Rooms with private bath as described and the location of the apartment is great! We had not expected that Mt. Maunganui is a cool village. Great cafes, restaurants and shops are lined up here in front of the door to each other. Because you need more than one day to try anything! Tip: jogging until the mountain or hike and breakfast eightyeight after the café! The contact with Vince was very personable. We would go back anytime.

Vinces place is perfectly located in the Mount. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Vince makes you feel very welcome and comfortable.

Position in eating and shopping on Main Street, very convenient, underground parking, separate toilet, indoor facilities, safe and healthy materials. Price is very good, do not live with their landlord.

This is a good stay for a short family getaway. Basic kiwi apartment, very nicely furnished, has all the basic stuff you need in the kitchen. The beds are good quality and there are plenty of blankets. There's an opening in the top of the wall between the bedrooms, as well as between the kitchen and master bedroom, so you may hear each other in the bedrooms, which didn't bother us at all, but might be good to know. The gas heater in the lounge was perfect for our cold early morning in May. The location is beautiful and close to town. Marianne lives upstairs, so that is handy if there's anything you need. Good value for money.

Marianne is a very welcoming host. Her flat is under her house but she and her husband were very discreet. The place is a very charming place, we were surprised to discover how sweet and cosy it was. It's way better than the photos. We definitely recommand it !

A quick response for our reservation as we had to were to stay . We arrived later at night and welcomed with a warm inviting home. Fresh fruit , water in the fridge , organic milk . Even to the eco friendly body wash . I recommend to anyone who want to feel like they are at home. 100 % happiness.

Nice and friendly host. The location is a bit difficult to find as the house is behind another building. Have all the things we need and we had a nice sleep. Just that the corridor carpet is old and have some unpleasant smell

Super hosts and clean house with everything I need. Breakfast is good with bread, milk and eggs. Kitchen is big and with all necessary appliance. Bath and toilet is super clean. Bed is comfortable. Communication with hosts are smooth and easy. They do their best to let guests feel comfortable. The house located in a quiet residence area but close to bus stops to CBD and everywhere. I definitely recommend to stay with Grand and Mildred.

Unfortunately we arrived before the host did (even though this was after the check in time) and so the room was not ready. Sheets from previous guest not changed etc. Other than that, hot water in the shower and good location is all you need when you're travelling!

The hosts are nice couple- friendly, helpful and easygoing. Although we stay only 1 nite but the warmest of this family make us feel at home.

Sandy made me feel very welcome on my arrival, gave me a guided tour and discussed the basics of staying in the BnB. She was very helpful with travel and things to do in the area. I liked the way the BnB accomodation was seperate from the main house which allowed me that bit of independance and privacy. The room is easily as good as it is discribed in the advertising I would highly recommend it to others. The grounds and gardens around help to make it a relaxing peaceful place to be, very well layed out and kept. Location was great, only a short drive to shops or cafe and very handy to central city. An awesome experience ☺

Sandy's (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) was very well thought out and the perfect place. Even though the weather wasn't quite on our side, coming back to a nice, warm and clean place was comforting enough! Furthermore the breakfast spread had such a good variety. Couldn't have asked for a better accommodation - would highly recommend!

I would strongly recommend Sandy's place. A lovely little sleep out with so many facilities. Beautifully decorated. Breakfast is included and is delivered to you so you can have it in privacy. A very generous breakfast bearing in mind the good price. Lovely outdoor eating area which is all yours. Sandy is very friendly and happy to give you suggestions on things to do and places to go. Communication was great from the start. This was our first experience of airbnb. All I can say is I was very very impressed.

Jorge and Lynda were extraordinary hosts. They are a very lovely couple who are always willing to help their guests. It is the best accommodation I have ever been to. All very well clean, organized as 5 start hotel. I recommend this accommodation to everyone and I would like to stay with them in the future again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tauranga at Tina and Tony's. Our rooms were beautifully appointed, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was huge, and we even used the outdoor spa on our last night - perfect for stargazing! But what made our stay extra special was that Tina and Tony went out of their way to make us feel at home. They were so helpful and lovely (right from booking, all the way through to when we checked out), and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed at Tina and Tony's as a small group as we were in Tauranga over the weekend for a wedding. But we would recommend this place to anyone seeking a convenient and comfortable retreat, with stand-out hosts who are friendly and a pleasure to deal with!

We had a great time, accommodation was just what we hoped for; very central, off street parking & everything we could have needed.

Excellent location. Prime spot. We stayed upstairs due to renovations downstairs but the whole place is amazing. Be prepared for noise from the pub on a weekend as it's quite close. We stayed over during an early winter and house, although large, had good heating with oil heaters and hot water bottles. Can walk to everything, including the Mount and a short drive to Bayfair. Kitchen is wonderfully stocked with everything you can't fit in your car/luggage for small and large families. Shower pressure is a bit low but water is hot and the bath is perfect. Nice hot towel rack to boot. Will hopefully return 1 day and get up Mauao in the morning for a sunrise photo. .
