We had a wonderful stay at Ilsington Farmhouse. A great space for a big group. We especially loved having the fire lit in the library, ensuring cosy evenings. The house was very clean. Cot provided was very helpful. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. Would recommend and hope to stay again soon!

Brilliant house for accommodating my husbands birthday party. Beautiful house..Spacious, clean and in a beautiful part of the countryside. Perfect for families with kids toys, crockery, cutlery, bath toys. Lovely homely reception rooms and dining room and a very well catered kitchen. All the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We shall definitely be back!

Sweet little place, spotlessly clean and warm, everything you need in a bolt hole. Beverley is a great host, comms easy and on hand if you need anything. Martyrs pub was closed (hardly her fault!) but blue viney and wise man both close enough and decent food.

Such a cute and cosy little bolthole; had everything we were looking for, and some lovely touches like a jug of fresh milk and homemade biscuits! It was really comfortable and so quiet...We slept so well! Great local pub in the village, and close to the coast where we made the most of some sun and explored Durdle Door. Thanks for a great stay. Hopefully we’ll be back in the summer!

The Hideaway is a lovely place to stay. Peaceful and well maintained with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Mark is a great host and very knowledgeable about the local area. We have stayed there twice now and would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

This is a true hideaway in a lovely village. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the kitchen had all we needed for our 4 night stay. The bed and pillows was comfortable Mark our host was there to greet us and show us around. We were using this apartment as a base to look around Dorset and it was perfect for us, the only down side for us townies were the country lanes but by the end of the week even I was getting used to driving down them in the dark. I would recommend staying here and we would book again.

Kim and Marc have an exceptional cottage. It is perfectly equipped with everything you will need. When we arrived there was freshly baked brownies (utterly delicious by the way) which was a lovely touch. The location is brilliant for village walks with the dog and family. Not far from Durdle Door which is stunning too. I cannot day enough niceties about this place. All I can say is that we were very reluctant to leave!! Thank you Kim and Marc, and also thank you for the extra eggs, they were so good!!

Kim and Marks house is an absolute gem in Milborne St Andrews. The house is gorgeous and the views spectacular. Plenty of parking and close to all those things you might need on holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Kim and Marc's cottage. It was in a good location to explore different corners of Dorset. The cottage was very spacious and tidy with everything we needed. The chocolate cake was delicious and very much appreciated after a long day of traveling.

Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay here. It was cosy and had everything we needed and was in a great location for exploring. Our dog pip loved to lay next to the fire of an evening too. We had a lovely stay here, it looks exactly as it does in the pictures! The location is perfect with so much to do just 20 minutes away in any direction! The hot tub was lovely after a day of exploring and the bed was super comfy. The extra bits (breakfast, orange juice and a bottle of wine) are super thoughtful. The Royal Oak does lovely food and everyone should 100% visit. We had a great time here, our only niggle was that it took ages for our towels and swimwear to dry, but apart from that we would stay again.

Incredible little lodge, perfect for a relaxing couples’ break. Built by the hosts, it’s clear that a lot of thought went into the experience of their guests. If you’re happy to drive for 20 minutes in any direction then there are endless options for day trips. The local pub was a great recommendation and just a short walk from the accommodation. To all future guests - kick back and enjoy!

Absolutely lovely little Airbnb! The decor is so cosy and Jeremy and Chloe have done a wonderful job creating this little oasis. The hot tub is a thankful retreat after a long walk in the rain. Milborne is a delightful town, free from masses of tourists, and full of history and poetic scenery. Highly recommend visiting nearby Milton Abbey and Durdle Door. One note- there isn’t really a place to eat inside the bnb, but if you aren’t opposed to bed snacks then you’ll have a grand time!

The lodge is amazing, so well equipped and the decor is modern and stylish, with lovely little touches everywhere! We really appreciated the wine, milk and orange juice in the fridge too. If you’re staying on a Sunday be sure to try the fantastic carvery at The Royal Oak pub just a stones throw away from the lodge. Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back 5*

Nice quirky and different accommodation. Great overnight stay

We would highly recommend a stay here. Bill was very pleasant and welcoming on arrival and gave us all the necessary information about the accommodation and facilities. We stayed here to attend a wedding reception in Athelhampton which is a short 20 minute walk away.

Great little hideaway

Lovely hosts, picturesque area, quirky accomodation and fantastic light pollution free views of the stars. The toilet and shower facilities were excellent. The breakfast was welcome and more than adequate. This was a superb location to base ourselves when visiting Maiden Castle and the slightly risqué Cerne Abbas giant. The Shepherds hut was idyllic, and surprisingly spacious and comfortable.

Amazing location with lovely hosts, will definitely return if we can. Loved Rocky too.

This is a delightful place to stay. I was a bit hesitant about a "shepherd's hut" but any concerns quickly evaporated. I was warmly welcomed, shown the facilities and felt very at home. The three things I look for when i stay somewhere; a nice comfortable bed, hot shower and fresh air were all well provided. Its a nice quiet country location and a 10-15min walk to the nearest pub that serves good pub food. And the absence of a TV was a blessing, listen the birds, take a good book and enjoy. Your hosts are subtly available (not pushy and not totally absent like some hotels) and will warmly welcome you.

A wonderful little spot for a night or two away. The hosts were lovely and accommodating, even recommending some local sights and a beautiful walk. Would definitely recommend staying and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The coach house is in a really quiet place, but you can drive to,the coast easily. Also, having the pub there is a lovely bonus.

Lovely spot thank you

A lovely house, a great base for exploring the south coast. The place is nicely rural with empty lanes and farms nearby and a wonderful starlit dark sky.

My son and I and our two dogs spent two nights at the Coach House in early January and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Coach House is well-presented, comfortable and very cosy (especially with the wood-burning stove lit), and provided a perfect spot for exploring the area. Having a friendly and welcoming pub next door was ideal for evening meals and a drink without having to worry about driving. And the pub food was excellent. Roy was quick to respond to emails and to offer helpful advice. All in all, highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this little cottage, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Janey was on hand if we needed her but felt very private.

The Little Barn, Janey and Pete were so amazing! Janey and Pete prepared some tips/ recommendations for the area (pubs, grocery shops, food, beaches...) which were really useful! The apartment is great for two people and the area is just lovely. The apartment was super clean, heated and well equipped. Everything you need for a little getaway.

Perfect location for exploring Dorset and the Jurassic Coast. Most major sights are within 30 min drive. It's also a great spot for peaceful countryside getaway - the village is beautiful, the loft and the garden are gorgeous, hosts are kind and helpful.

Just returned from a wonderful mini break in Dorset staying at the Martyrs Loft. Couldn’t have asked for more, Barbara and Nigel were wonderful hosts, the lost was spotless, cosy and comfy, with lovely views and a stunning garden. Could not recommend enough and we will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely stay, great hosts and the view is amazing!

The Bothy is spotlessly clean and well heated. (At the end of October that was important!) The bed is very comfortable and it was great to have a lounge area too. We felt very comfortable there. It’s well located for walks on the South Coast and for visiting local National Trust properties. The Tolpuddle Martyrs museum was also fascinating. Ray was extremely welcoming and gave us great tips for places to eat. We would highly recommend it.

This place is exactly as you see in the photographs and it was absolutely perfect for us. Beautiful tranquil location and a comfy bed - we had some v good sleeps here! It’s great to stay somewhere with so many things provided - iron and hairdryer, tea, coffee etc which means you don’t have to bring everything with you. Also it’s useful to be able to have a simple breakfast at home and the facilities available to prepare picnics. Ray has really thought of everything you would need and more. We will definitely return!

The cottage is stunning and has everything you need for your time away. The cottage is lovely and warm and very cosy. We went on walks straight out from the cottage as it’s in such a lovely area. The tea shop just up the road is perfect for lunch and the owners were very kind in recommending local walks. We went to the local pub just a few steps up the road from the cottage on one of our evenings. Again they were very friendly and we had a lovely meal and would certainly recommend booking a meal. We couldn’t of wanted more from our stay and will certainly be booking to stay again.

Milton Abbas is unique and magical........steeped in history and sits in one of the most beautiful counties in the UK. Lars’s home gives you the perfect opportunity to be a part of that. A wonderfully cosy space, well appointed and immaculate. Lars was super helpful ahead of our arrival; very straightforward to get into the property and settle straight in. I’ll be back for sure! Thanks Lars. (Note.......there’s a great pub in the village but recommend checking early in the day if they’re serving food in the evening as we were un-successful in spite of the website advertising food service every evening. You’re in the sticks so be sure to have back up plans in the fridge!!)

Fabulous house, situated in the picture perfect village of Milton Abbas. Lars was great to communicate with, the house was immaculate and provided a perfect base for our few days away. Particularly enjoyed how warm is was, as the weather wasn't kind to us. We enjoyed a trip to the Tank Museum on the rainiest day, a windy picnic on beautiful Durdle Door beach and a classic british seaside trip to Swanage. Tea rooms in the village we lovely, really friendly and great with the kids. Would love to return. Thanks so much.

Lovely place to stay with all the amenities you need for a long weekend or week away, nearby to a country pub with fabulous food and a short distance from Gorcombe extreme sports. Dave & Alyson are really friendly, great hosts and very responsive , we arrived to a lovely little welcome hamper full of eggs, butter, bread and cereals. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay with wonderful hosts - a great base if you want to explore Dorset

Superb self contained property within easy reach of many many places of interest around the area. For a self contained and unattached annexe the overnight charges are, in my opinion, a bargain compared to many other similar air bnb properties of similar amenities and description. The unexpected touches of milk, tea,coffee, butter, bread and eggs were the icing on the cake. Loved every minute of our stay.

David and Aly were great host, it was a pleasure staying at there place. Really carring. The place is nice and they did a good job with placing the furniture. It has everything you need. Upon arrival they even bought some basics like milk and bread for us. The place is very nice located, with lot’s to do closeby. And there’s a great pub accross the street. The only downside is that internet is not so strong there and because there’s no WiFi, it happens often that you don’t have internet access. For us was not a big deal and actually made that you’re less on your phone.

Definitely recommend - great host, great place. Has everything you need and more. Outstanding hospitality and a cat to pet (if you're lucky).

Sandra is really nice and passionate. She pick us up from the train station and sent us to there when we are leaving. She is so great and helpful for our trip and her house is quiet clear and lovely, with a cuteeee cat! Next time to Moreton we would like to meet Sandra again definitely! Very recommended to choose Sandra’s Place!

Everything I could have hoped for and more. Sandra made me feel very welcome and the room and breakfast were spot on. So nice to not feel that you are being difficult as a vegan when asking for non dairy because your host understands and caters for your needs. Great location to explore the local area - check out the National Trust properties of Clouds Hill, Hardy’s Cottage and Max Gate all close by. Sandra have some great tips on where to eat out and the room, bed and en suite were very comfortable. Highly recommend.

The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Patrick met us and gave us a full tour so we knew what to expect as well as some great recommendations for things to do in the area. We'll definitely be coming back next time we're in the area.

It was a really great place to stay for the weekend. We had 8 adults and 4 dogs in our party and there was more than enough room for everyone. The dining room table wasn't quite big enough for all of us but we moved furniture around and it was perfect (with permission). Open fires, comfy sofas, comfy beds. We struggled a little with the aga for cooking but only because we hadn't used one before. But there is a separate electric hob and 2 convection cookers which helped. By the end of the weekend we had the hang of it. We will book again!

Wonderful hospitality - Patrick met us when we arrived for check-in and gave us a very thorough tour and explained some of the quirks of this gorgeous Victorian house. He also left us some local delicacies as well as tea & coffee which was a really thoughtful touch. The house itself is wonderful, the huge living rooms are perfect for big groups of people to eat together, play games and just spend time relaxing. We woke up to birdsong and saw plenty of birds (even a pheasant) in the garden, as well as plenty of wildlife when we walked in the area later. The bedrooms are really comfortable (everyone in our group commented on how well they slept!) and the kitchen is great for cooking for a big group as well. The garden is lovely, and there's a footpath from just outside the house which leads straight into the village. Patrick also gave us lots of local tips for places to see in the area, we followed his advice and had a lovely trip down by the coast. We had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay in this amazing house. I didn't expect it to live up to how good it looks in the photos, but actually the photos didn't do it justice, the house and the grounds are outstanding. Together, my family made up a party of 9 adults and one baby. There was loads of room for us all, we could all be together in the kitchen or any of the reception rooms, which was great. The house is full of character and very well maintained. Chester is an excellent host, we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. It was lovely to feel like we could relax and enjoy the place. Chester provided lots of helpful tips on the local area and was always on hand to answer any questions. The location is perfect for dogs; Chester made the dogs feel very welcome too, there are lovely walks all around, including on the property grounds. We would all highly recommend this house and hope to stay again.

We were celebrating my husbands 50th birthday and Watercress Farm was perfect for this. Lots of room, comfy beds and Chester was a great host who was always on hand if needed. Perfect for a large group. We had 2 dogs with us and they also had an amazing time exploring the garden. The veranda was perfect for pre dinner drinks and just chilling in the garden. There is a pub you can walk to but bring trainers. The welcome pack was really thoughtful and Chester was really accommodating. Great trip and would come again!

A great location in peaceful countryside and easy access (20 minute drive) to the beautiful Purbeck coast. Very attentive host who made check-in easy and was always available to answer questions. The house is very spacious with a beautiful garden in which we spent most of our stay.

A small, but perfectly formed en-suite room with a fresh continental breakfast in the cosy lounge, this was excellent value for money. Richard and Tina were thoughtful hosts who also gave generously of their time to describe the area for us. Just what we wanted.

The ensuite bathroom is also very well designed, all in all it's perfect. The breakfast is a lovely added bonus, a real treat. The village is exactly as described, chocolate box pretty houses and a scenic abbey to walk to. The stay is full of thoughtful touches and it's great to be able to get top tips about the area, I will definitely staying with Richard and Tina again.

Rich & Tina are a really lovely couple. Their home is cosy and welcoming. We stayed in the double ensuite which was really comfortable. It's a great place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding areas. Milton Abbas is very picturesque and has a great pub, The Hanbro Arms which does very good food. We would definitely stay again. It was a shame we couldn't have stayed for longer.

Our first experience of Airbnb so not sure what to expect....needn't have worried! Wonderful overnight stay...lots of thoughtful touches. Slept like a log and enjoyed a lovely breakfast before sadly having to leave....hope to be back soon!!

Such an amazing place to stay!!! A cozy shed with a beautiful garden view and extremely clean with lovely candles smell inside. Just perfect for escaping London. The breakfast served beautifully by Tina it was delicious. We only regret that we couldn’t stay longer to know Tina and her family better. Hopefully will back there in the future. Thank you Tina :)

Tina’s place is a lovely cosy shed surrounded by a beautiful garden! Tina is a great host, making sure that both the premises and herself can provide a pleasant stay at all times. During our stay we enjoyed the continental breakfast served every morning! Each day the breakfast is different and it is served in a beautiful way! The place is the perfect escape for an ideal weekend away! It is very quiet yet it has all the amenities you might need. The check out time is at 10am but Tina was happy to let us leave an hour later after we asked her.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely clean, bright, and surprisingly spacious flat. Beautifully decorated. Many special touches. Delicious muesli, cereals and croissants and milk provided for breakfast. James and Sally were very friendly and helpful hosts.

Kate and Rich are wonderful people and extremely welcoming. I was there for all of two days and it felt like home. Kate was on top of everything and went well beyond in every respect. Breakfast was to die for and beyond what I have seen even at the nicest of hotels. I honestly can't say enough nice things about the pair of them. Absolutely fantastic hosts in every regard.

Breakfast was excellent especially the homemade granola and great choices of jams. Room and bathroom was very clean and spotless. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying again. Thank you

We had the pleasure of staying in Kate and Rich’s lovely cottage. The room is lovely, bright and comfy and comes with its own very clean and modern bathroom. Kate and Rich made us so welcome in their home and were always happy to help and suggest places to visit. The wonderful breakfasts were really appreciated and so yummy. There are many places to visit just a short drive from the cottage and some great walks in the surrounding area. All in all we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider coming back again.

You wont go wrong booking this air bnb .spotless, stylish, friendly. Pub 2 mins walk very friendly great meals good prices. Shop over road ,wifi good .close to tank museum. Corf castle .Tolpuddle (martyrs).

We had a good time in Kate’s house. She was very nice and kind with every single thing. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom spacious, clean and modern. Good and very completed breakfast. I would definetely repeat it.

We stayed at Barbara’s for one night as we were in the area for Ironman Weymouth. It was perfect, we had our own area separate from the rest of the house but Barbara was happy for us to knock if we needed anything. It was clean and she had put bits out for us for breakfast if we needed it. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

Anne's home is warm, full of character and very welcoming. It is clean, tidy, spacious and has a wonderful garden to explore. There is a lovely local pub which is in easy walking distance. We would highly recommend!

Warm and cosy cottage in a lovely village setting, with all needs catered for. There was even a beautiful Christmas tree in the living room. Perfect space for a three generation family gathering. Couldn’t have asked for more!

NYE here was very special. Had a wonderful time staying, was really cosy and a home from home, especially with the woodburner making the house toasty warm! Lovely setting, highly recommend staying and exploring!

Great host as this was are fist stay in a Airbnb and we did not no what to expect Richard and Tina were great host and very helpful people. We had 3 nights with them and the accommodation was great and very clean. When we got up for breakfast everything was ready for us. when we came back in the evening we had a cup of Tea and Richard and Tina was there and we all had a great chat of what we did in the daytime. will go back again. What a peaceful, pretty little cottage. We listened to owls hooting through the silence, yet we were so conveniently close to the coast, too. Thoughtful touches throughout from a friendly host. A great little find.

Ruth's cottage was beautiful, cozy & welcoming. The thoughtful touches of wine & nibbles on arrival were very welcome, the cottage was toasty warm (very appreciated on a chilly winters day) and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Great base for discovering Dorset, from the delights of Monkey World and the breathtaking views of the Jurassic coastline. We'd definitely recommend staying at Ruth (and Mike's) cottage & I'm sure we'll be back to stay again.

Spent a couple of relaxing days here after the stresses of Christmas !! Couldn’t have asked for anything better, very cosy and comfortable, everything we needed including a welcome pack and even some dog biscuits for Gracie our yellow Labrador.

The cottage is a little quirky but it has some genuine country charm. Ruth is an excellent host, she was quick to reply to any questions we had and kept her cottage very clean. It is the best kind of place to get away from it all and enjoy a quiet time in the country. Highly recommended.
