The Cotswolds are characterised by attractive small towns and villages, built of the underlying Cotswold stone (a yellow oolitic limestone). In the Middle Ages the wool trade made the Cotswolds prosperous and some of this money was put into the building of churches, leaving the area with a number of large handsome Cotswold stone "wool churches". The area remains affluent, which has encouraged the establishment of many high quality pubs, restaurants and antique shops.
  • We had a lovely visit and can't wait to stay again. Very clean and tidy beds very comfortable had everything we needed

  • We had a great time at the Cottage. I came there with my family to attend my graduation at the University of Warwick. We were 7 people in total. There was plenty of space and also enough bathrooms, so that we had our privacy and never had to wait a long time. The location is great for trips to Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford and Birmingham. We also went to London once. The house is super clean and looks so charming. I would highly recommend this place! Thank you for the lovely stay.

  • This is an outstanding property for a family gathering. Plenty of showers & toilets - a real asset for a family! The crockery, cutlery & glass wear & pans were in excellent condition! The corner shop was excellent - they seemed to have everything! Great for those last minute things. Everyone in the village was super friendly too! We would definitely use this property again & the company running it are very efficient & helpful

  • Lovely place to stay for a wedding

    Jessica2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway. It was absolutely sparkling clean and really easy to use everything. It was spacious for a large group, we never felt cramped at all. Information regarding the property was very accurate and I always felt able to contact someone should I need help. The village is very sweet and we took a trip to Blenheim Palace which was a great day out, especially as the weather wasn't great. I really recommend this property for a weekend break but I wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you.

  • Quaint, quiet and comfortable, just what I was looking for!

  • A beautiful cottage in a very quiet village. Beautifully decorated with super comfy beds. Although there are no amenities directly in the village there are plenty of lovely walks (which can be found in the books in the lounge) nearby. The welcome goodies mean you don’t have to rush to the shop and can build a trip into your day, as anything is a short drive or walk away. We really enjoyed our stay here, such a perfect break away from the hustle and bustle! Would definitely book again.

  • Character Cottage is a quiet and peaceful place in Sutton, not far from Stratford's small town near Shakespeare's home. Self-driving is recommended, parking is possible. As it is winter, there are few tourists. The rest was good, the cottage kitchen was well-equipped, and the host warmly prepared eggs, milk, bread and butter for us. The bedroom is on the second floor. Although small, it is very welcoming. The bathrooms are great, with romantic bathtubs and comfortable shower rooms.

  • Honeysuckle cottage is an amazing stay! It is cute and cozy. We got everything we needed to stay comfortably. Everything was very clean and they provided us with milk, bread, butter and eggs. And special thanks to Chris for helping us out when our car got stuck at the parking spot. He was quick to respond and easy to communicate. We arrived at night (it was very dark) and didn’t realize we accidentally ran over a small rock n got stuck. 😂 Luckily it was okay. Overall, it was a perfect stay!

  • Fantastic property in a stunning location, and it was super easy to find! Really enjoyed the surrounding countryside and had useful tips from the host on the local area. Definitely recommend this Airbnb.

  • Great company. Very responsive, very helpful. Can not fault them and will definitely use them again ❤️

    Joni2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for an idyllic little cottage to get away from it all, this is the place for you. The ling room is perfectly cosy and both bedrooms offer good sized beds which the host asked before arrival if we'd like making up as twin or double rooms. The bath is great for relaxing in after a long walk and the kitchen is sufficient enough to fully self cater. The cottage is managed by a larger company and, as I found out subsequently, it's cheaper to book direct than via this website. Also, they charge £20 to bring a dog (hidden away in the Ts & Cs on this site) but I can't see what that extra charge provided. The nearest pub (The George) is 1.6 miles away and serves some excellent food and drink in a classic, dog friendly, pub environment. All in all, a great little find and we'd definitely return.

Comfortable beds and pillows(!). Every room had charm and atmosphere - a truly memorable stay - only wish we could have stayed longer! • Fantastic place. Lots of character. Location is perfect. The Property kept clean and beautifully decorated. The fire place was amazing. The host is very flexible and accommodating. Kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances. I was most impressed with the shower(water pressure). Definitely coming back in summer to enjoy county life.

  • A great place to stay! We were a group of 6 adults, 4 kids and 2 babies and had plenty of space for relaxing and playing. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable and the living space was perfect for our needs. We’d love to come back during the warmer months to make better use of the lovely outside space.

  • A great stay in an incredible place with friendly hosts

    Oli2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Had a fantastic time at the Tysoe Manor. The main things that stood out were the enormous grounds, beautiful gardens and stunning views. My sons (11 and 14) loved spending time each day in the swimming pool and tennis courts. It was the best distraction from their electronics. When there was a little rain, there were plenty of board games in the living room to choose from. Gary was extremely helpful and informative. He spent time walking us around the grounds so we knew where to go for nice walks, he recommended good places to eat and very kindly got bikes and helmets out for my boys and even introduced my ever curious puppy to the resident sheep. She loved the close encounter! Their dogs Daisy and Rosie were very friendly and always happy to greet us.

Our 18th century thatched cottage on the village green in picturesque Tysoe village on the edge of the Cotswolds AONB is a former police house, reputedly the only thatched one in the country! Our guest room is a large, quiet studio room with its own bathroom, adjoining the main house and overlooking our peaceful garden. A cooked breakfast, including homemade jams, marmalade and local produce, is served in our large country kitchen, warmed by the Aga, or if you prefer, in the garden in summer.
Your own staircase leads to a spacious light room and private bathroom with shower. It is well furnished, including a comfortable double bed, a futon sofa, a TV with HD and Freeview, WiFi and ample storage. A small fridge contains fresh milk and water, and we also provide a selection of teas, coffee, and homemade biscuits, plus local guides and maps.
Tysoe is a peaceful village, away from main roads but within easy reach of the M40 and Banbury railway station. It is an ideal base for walking and exploring the North Cotswolds and Stratford area. Stratford-on-Avon, Chipping Campden, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Moreton-in-Marsh, Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Norton are all within a 30 minute drive. Local amenities include a well-stocked village shop, a popular tea room, a Post Office/gift shop and a pub, and there are excellent pub restaurants within a few miles. Close by is the stunning art gallery at Compton Verney and Upton House (National Trust). JLR Gaydon is under 10 miles.
  • Lovely couple. Great place to stay. Small village, but that adds to the charm. Central to many places to visit. Highly recommend

  • Bridget and Digby’s house was stunning and set in a beautiful location. Lovely walks recommended by walk are on the doorstep. It was nice to have a separate annexe, meaning we had privacy, but also close enough to the kitchen for breakfast the next morning. Really nice shower. They were excellent hosts, incredibly accommodating and very friendly. The quality of the home cooked breakfast (with local and some home grown or made produce) was exceptional. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

    Jacques2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I enjoyed a night here. It was our first AirBnB experience and we really enjoyed it. The accommodation was great... very clean, comfy bed, a brilliant shower and all round just great. Bridget was very welcoming and an excellent host. Breakfast was amazing, super tastie and plenty of it. The location was lovely, very pretty area, a nice country pub in the village with good ale. We went on a local walk up to Edgehill which took about 2hrs 40mins and was a nice scenic route. All in all i'd happily stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

    Gareth2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • What a brilliant place to stay! It was such a comfortable and clean room, with really thoughtful touches such a home-made biscuits, tea and coffee facilities, milk and cold water plus toiletries to help yourself to. The breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked to order and sourced with local ingredients. Bridget and Digby were delightful hosts, who gave freely of their local knowledge and time, to ensure our time with them was the best it could be. We had great chats with them over breakfast! We would thoroughly recommend this property.

    Tracy2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Delightful, very comfortable place to stay in a charming village with lots to visit nearby. Bridget and Digby were very welcoming and provided an excellent breakfast.

    Jane2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Bridget and Digby were absolutely wonderful hosts. The room was private, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. It was perfect for attending a wedding nearby at Primrose Hill Farm. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning conversation at breakfast, which was a real treat - with locally sourced produce, fresh summer fruits, and tasty homemade preserves. Tips for the local area were great too, especially the nearby pubs and areas of interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and their company. A great place to base yourself if you’re visiting this part of the Cotswolds and we would definitely like to stay again.

    Baz And Millie2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best places to stay in the U.K.!!!! Bridget and Digby's home is not only beautiful, but incredibly unique, showing off, not only their own personal sense of style, but also displaying the great beauty and character of the Cotswolds. We would greatly recommend staying in the Old Police House. It is charming and a perfect doorway through which to explore the English countryside.

This is a truly beautiful spacious barn conversion, in the Cotswold countryside, suited for a large family or a group get together. This property is 7 miles/ 13 minutes drive form Jaguar Land rover and Aston Martin so its ideal for the short/long term employee or sub contractor that would require a 1 night stay or more. It is also perfect if you have a family that they wish to join you. Pets allowed. We have a safe key box so the access is easy and we will provide the code on the day of rental.
The village is in the heart of the countryside. Fantastic country walks and amazing views. Please read the below the information for the local towns. Visit Stratford-upon-Avon introduces you to a market town with more than 800 years of history, containing not only many buildings that survive today and would have been familiar to Shakespeare, but also a thriving community offering a wide variety of leisure. Warwick is a town on the River Avon, in England’s West Midlands region. It’s known for the medieval Warwick Castle, founded by William the Conqueror. The Collegiate Church of St. Mary has a tower with city views and a Norman crypt. The timber-framed buildings of 14th-century Lord Leycester Hospital cluster by the city’s West Gate. The St. John’s House Museum is housed in a Jacobean mansion with gardens
Excellent footpaths through the Cotswold countryside.
  • If you're looking for a quiet place away in the countryside, without disturbance from any neighbours, then I'd highly recommend this place. Response times are extremely fast from Claire and check-in/check-out was extremely easy too.

  • Wonderful accommodation in a great location.

    Jeff2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely accommodation in remote countryside. Lovely house very accommodating and clean & Claire very responsive when contacted. If wet weather would recommend "wellies" as the yard is working stables and fills up with puddles very quickly! Would highly recommend the Rose & Crown in Ratley for dinner. Thank you & hopefully we will return next year.

  • Lovely little place. The Den is stylish and fully equipped with everything you’d need for a long or short stay. Breakfast items were provided, cereal, bread, yogurt, juice, butter and jam. Towels and shower essentials provided too. Lovely little gastro-pub a 30 sec walk away, food was nice- service left a lot to be desired though- obviously this has nothing to do with Louise. Sky tv and Wi-fi provided for downtime. Although attached to the main house, we had a lot of privacy and space, although I knew if there were any issues ( there was none) I could approach next door with ease. Thankyou for a lovely break away Louise, wish we could have stayed longer and Thankyou Emma for the warmest of welcomes.

Wonderfully clean and a warm welcome from our hosts with caring touches such as providing a fan as the weather was so warm. All we needed for a continental breakfast was in the fridge so that we could take our time in the morning. A great place to stay.

This self-sufficient little studio includes oven, hob, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, etc, so we could cook dinner and breakfast with ease. Sky TV meant we could snuggle down and watch a movie and relax as we would at home.

  • Had a lovely weekend stay at The Stables. Toasty warm, tasteful accommodation in quiet rural surroundings. We enjoyed first-class hospitality from Caroline. I was visiting the area with my mum to take her to visit old friends, so the downstairs sofabed was ideal for me, as was having a non en-suite bathroom! In all a very relaxing stay - and somewhere we hope to stay again.

From the scenic views to the really thoughtfully decorated interior to the crazy amount of amenities, it was so picturesque it was almost hard to take it all in. We loved every second and couldn't recommend it more!

  • What a place. Bo’ok end cottage is just beautiful. Spotlessly clean and an amazing location. My dog lilli particularly enjoyed the picture window I the bedroom where she could watch the world go by and the rabbits at sunset. The garden is beautiful and there are so many little touches that made the stay for the bathrobes and the typed note on an old fashioned typewriter that made the stay. If you enjoy bird watching and wildlife In general, this is the place for you. Lisa is incredibly friendly ( les and will we’re away) and so welcoming. We will definitely be back and would recommend this p,ace to anyone.

  • We had a fantastic weekend, from all the advance information to the added extra touches from Les and Will in this cottage this is just an amazing place and an amazing find! The cottage is super cosy, it has everything you need and the surrounding area is beautiful. We brought our two dogs who loved it too - hours gazing out the window at the views (and the sheep!) We made it to Edgehill and had a fantastic lunch at the Castle. We will 100% be back :-)

  • Just wonderful! We stayed at the Coach House for 2 nights for my husbands birthday. The place is beautifully clean and beautifully furnished. We were met with fresh cut flowers and freshly baked bread and a view to die for. Such comfy beds and great amenities we didn’t really want to leave the cottage :-) we did though, and visited the local village and enjoyed a lovely walk in the nearby Little Rollright and saw the wonderful Rollright Stones. A fabulous stay and we all agreed we’d love to come back!

  • A lovely quiet rural retreat. Clean and well looked after. We didn't need a lot of looking after but Bryony was very helpful for anything we asked.

    Paula2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Our visit to Bryony’s place was just perfect. The house is big and while the main rooms are huge, they still remain cosy and warm. The main thing we noticed was the quiet, the house was incredibly peaceful and it was just what we needed for our break. Bryony had placed some wonderful little details that made us feel very welcome from the moment we stepped into the house. Bryony was also very quick to answer messages and questions. The place has plenty of room to park and is not to far from some wonderful locations (we drove into Stratford which took around 15-20 minutes). We have stayed in some wonderful AirBnBs over the last couple of years for holidays and when attending friends’ weddings but we both agreed that this has been our favourite AirBnB experience so far. Highly recommend. Thank you again Bryony for letting us stay!

    Matthew2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent stay at the Coach House. We travelled during a named storm and Bryony was very communicative regarding road conditions, both running up to and the day of our travels. Really helpful and quite indicative of the attention to detail throughout. A very comfortable place (nice and warm) in a tranquil setting. The little one definitely loved exploring the and seeing all of the animals. Hope to be back.

  • Perfect! We had such a lovely time staying in this beautiful place. We were welcomed by a bottle of Prosecco and a box of chocolates to see the New Year in, and found everything to be very high quality, very clean and well thought through. The shower is quite literally the best I’ve ever had. The bathroom has all sorts of extras in case you’ve forgotten anything. Iszy was very welcoming, check in extremely easy. The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots and pans you need to make food. There’s a fridge, washing machine and dishwasher - luxury! Thank you, Iszy, and I hope we’ll be back!

  • The Anex is a fabulous living space above the garages of Kineton Grange Farm. It is a busy farm (with beautiful horses) in the Warwickshire countryside so prepare for muddy shoes in the driveway. Iszy herself was absolutely charming and a most helpful host despite being rushed off her feet when we turned up earlier than expected. Would be happy to stay here again. (Directions: Look out for the large name sign for the farm at the end of the driveway as it’s easy to intrude on the neighbours’ by mistake)

Settle into country life in our refurbished Farmhouse. Your bedroom has rustic country decor with vintage furniture, an amazingly comfortable emperor bed plus double aspect views over the surrounding village. Your room HAS ITS OWN ENTRANCE and is completely separate to our living areas.
Our farmhouse has a magical garden and views. Balscote is a ‘chocolate box’ village (or as one kiddy wink said, ‘its exactly like my fairy garden’) close to lots of local hotspots. We are a 10min drive from the centre of Banbury but you will feel like you are in the middle of no where in our sleepy little village. My husband and I live here with our two kids 5 & 7years old but don’t worry we use the other side of the house so you won’t hear us.. too much. They sleep between 8pm - 7am so it’s definitely quiet then but we are happy for you to make noise (My kids will sleep through anything). We moved here, from london, a couple of years ago so can give advice on what’s happening or recommendations for anything you might like to do.
Balscote is a sleepy village with a local pub, park and a lovely old church. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area if relaxing/sleeping/walking is not high on your agenda. Please note: the closest shop is in 10min away in Banbury or Bloxham so come prepared.
  • Great place to stay, bed is as massive as described. Cinnamon was a great host with lots of local tips sent beforehand. Enjoyed the friendly local pub nearby.

    Colin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for something a little bit different this is place to stay. The photographs don’t do the bedroom justice. The rustic feel is so calming & peaceful with lovely views from the charming windows. Cinnamon was a lovely host nothing was too much trouble. A walk to the local pub( the only one!) & chatting to the locals was a nice treat. Highly recommended

  • A beautiful room and en-suite with the most amazing giant bed!! It was a struggle to leave. Cinnamon provided lots of local foodie recommendations (thanks!). We had a good home cooked meal at the Falkland arms (20 min drive) - Highly recommend!

  • This is absolutely one of the most memorable hamlets we have ever stayed in, it is absolutely gorgeous and you should not miss the opportunity to stay here. Cinnamon is a wonderful gracious friendly hostess, and her home is an absolutely fabulous old country home with a beautiful back garden, a lovely view and the biggest bed I have ever had the pleasure to sleep in, the bathroom is enormous and the shower huge too. The home is the quintessential crooked old English house with uneven floors and tiny doors, (watch your head coming out of the bathroom) . If you are looking for the real British experience make your reservation right now, you will not be disappointed.

    Martin And Patrice2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • A delightful hideaway farm house in a beautiful North Cotswolds village. Cinnamon went above and beyond in making sure I had a wonderful stay. Best kept secret in the area!

  • Cin was very helpful and made checking in / out very easy. The space is decorated nicely and was perfect for what we needed. Although it is part of the house, the separate entrance gives you plenty of privacy. Thanks again Cin!

    Matthew2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Cinnamon’s place is an absolute gem.....it was so lovely we stayed an extra night and would have loved to stay longer !! The bed is amazing, the decor is stylish, you have total privacy but Cinnamon is only a text message away if you need anything. We loved walking around the village, so much to see, so much history and the locals are so friendly. We had dinner at the local pub on Friday night and it was probably the highlight of our past few weeks in England!! The food was great but the company was amazing and we met the nicest people . All I can say is do not hesitate, book the room at Cinnamon’s and I can guarantee you will love it!!

  • The tea house is little cottage with very modern and warm interior. Pip welcomed us with fresh milk, bread and eggs which is a very lovely touch. If you're planning on staying a few days you have everything you will need to self cater (oven and hob). There are walking paths off the doorstep if you like hiking through the fields and there is also a fantastic Indian restuarant not too far up the road as well. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway.

Great for long walks with plenty of nice villages and pubs to visit within walking distance. The house is spacious for two people with a good kitchen and living area with great views. Everything was clean and stylishly presented. Pip and Charles are very hospitable and have plenty of recommendations for the local area; they were flexible with our check out and even bought us round some sugar! Would definitely recommend.

  • I visited with my girlfriend for a long weekend and we can highly recommend staying at The Old Tea Rooms; it’s cosy and welcoming, with everything you could possibly need inside, it genuinely felt like a home away from home and if we visit the Cotswolds again we’d stay here again in a heartbeat - as nothing else could come close to how much we enjoyed our stay. And to top it off, Pip is a fantastic, accommodating host and was easily contactable throughout our stay. 10/10!

We have a lovely light and spacious double bedroom (with a king size bed, sofa and amazing views) and a private bathroom with a shower (next door to the bedroom) as part of our families, beautiful country home. Located in an idyllic village of Burdrop (walk to the pub) in the north Cotswolds. Easy access to Great Tew (Soho Farmhouse - 15 mins), Chipping Norton, Kingham (Daylesford Farm Shop and spa - 15 mins), Banbury, Woodstock, Oxford and other beautiful Cotswold villages.
The house is set within a beautiful garden and 5 acres of land, with stunning views from the bedroom looking out over the countryside. Burdrop is a small, quiet village in a spectacular setting, with an abundance of walks and bridleways. With stables at the end of the garden, horses are welcome to stay too, so you can enjoy the most that the Cotswold's has to offer.
We are on the edge of the village so you can easily walk to the pub and village shop. The walking is excellent with numerous footpaths and bridle ways which lead from the village. We are surrounded by beautiful arable and livestock farming.
  • Imogen and Tom were excellent and very helpful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them while visiting relatives in the locality. Our accommodation was comfortable and spacious. We would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay while visiting the Cotswolds.

  • Lola was fantastic! I can’t thank her enough for looking after me during my stay! The place was beautiful and very tastefully decorated! 10/10 on all levels. Thank you Lola!

  • We had an enjoyable stay in The Old Rectory Coach House, Wroxton. The property was spotlessly clean and very well presented. Check-in was straightforward and communication with the host - Iola - was excellent. It is a studio apartment and therefore quite small, but the bathroom was just right with a really nice shower and the bed was big, cosy and very comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring The Cotswolds and the village of Wroxton is absolutely beautiful.

  • Clean and cosy place in a middle of cute Cotswolds village. Perfect for a couple that wants to explore the area.

  • A lovely little retreat which is furnished to a high standard. A very peaceful and relaxing setting in a beautiful village. We had a wonderful stay and an extra bonus was the fantastic weather. Thanks for supplying the coal for the bbq which we put to good use! Thanks Iola for sharing your beautiful retreat.

Their bnb is very cozy and surrounded by stunning views. They gave us great advice on things to do and see in the local area. We will definitely visit again! Our thanks to you both for a great stay!

  • From booking the room to arriving Steve and Lizzy were very helpful and welcoming. I found they went over and above to accommodate me during my stay. You get very good directions from the hosts if you are driving. Especially as threre are no street lights. If you are coming around this way i recommend staying here. Also it is very close to Shipston and other small towns.

We also really appreciated Stephen taking the time to track us down the next day to return a charger left behind in the room. The room was clean and comfortable. We would love to stay again.

The Annexe is a self-contained building set in the garden of our family house, The Granary. Oxhill is a quiet village on the edge of the Cotswolds, close to Stratford upon Avon, Banbury, Warwick and Leamington. Ideally situated for visiting The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the stunning Cotswold villages of Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the Wold, Chipping Campden, Chipping Norton and Bourton-on-the-Water, among others. Oxhill has an excellent pub (The Peacock) and is a great base for walking.
The Annexe at The Granary is a recently-renovated self-contained one-bedroom apartment on two floors. On the ground floor is a well-equipped galley kitchen with oven, hob and fridge; sitting area with sofa bed, TV and small dining table; and a shower-room. Upstairs on the first floor overlooking the garden is the bedroom, consisting of two single beds and a chest of drawers (please note the bathroom is on the ground floor). The sofa bed in the sitting area could be used as an additional double bed by arrangement. The Annexe is also available during the week by arrangement.
Local pubs & eating out •The Peacock, is the village pub and has a good selection of beers and does great food at reasonable prices. It’s a 5 minute walk – turn left at the top of Rouse Lane and keep going till you get there. There are other good pubs a bit further afield: •The Royal Oak in Whatcote (1.5 miles away) has an incredible menu and is well worth a visit, but you may need to book. It has an interesting selection of drinks and bar snacks in a lovely traditional building. •The Chequers, in Ettington, (5 minute drive on the road to Stratford) is another good place to eat. •Stratford has many great restaurants catering for all tastes. If you want some advice about a specific area, let us know and we’ll share our knowledge! Shops •There are well-stocked village shops in both Tysoe (also has a nice tearoom) and Ettington (both 5 minutes away) for basics. Shipston-on-Stour has a bigger shop, or Stratford has all the main high street names.
  • I'm so glad I found this place to stay for my few days around Cotswold, the location is fantastic and you have some scenic walks close by. The accommodation is super clean, smells nice, and excellent comfy beds. Sarah and Ed leave some food for you to make your own breakfast, and let us use their phone when we had a situation (great hospitality). A detailed guide is left for you of local attractions and info to enhance your stay. We'd stay here again in a heart beat! ...Oh, and the surrounding beauty is quintessential English countryside, enjoy!

    Kelly2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Absolute jewel of a place. Hostess net us as soon as she was able, as did Alfie ( he's so cute!). Sarah was very helpful with suggestions on where to eat, but make sure to make reservations to eat at The Peacock in Oxhill. The house was perfect and spotless, check-in a dawdle and the extra touches were a treat. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Will be back if ever in the area.

    Jamie2019-07-14T00:00:00Z

  • Such a quaint, relaxing, comfortable, quiet, pleasant experience. Perfect "home away from home" to see the Cotswolds. Sarah and Ed make your stay perfect and more with little delicious extras for your breakfast. Do check out the wonderful village church and have a meal at the local Peacock eatery. We will be back but will stay longer next time.

Katherine and Steve’s place is fantastic and any time I needed to contact them they responded instantly. The space was perfect and had everything I needed for a long stay. I’m working up here again soon and will be rebooking .

Great location for Banbury, Stratford and cotswolds. The hosts are next door with handy tips if needed. Very flexible and easy check in/out. This place is a gem and is very well cared for.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Katherine and Steve's home. We were greeted by Steve and Charlie the dog; who gave us a brief tour of the apartment and showed us how everything worked. The property is exactly like the pictures, bright, clean, has lots of space and everything you need for a nice weekend away. The apartment is in a quiet cul-de-sac at the edge of the Cotswolds; ideal for any hikers or adventurers; and Banbury is only a 10-15 minute drive away for any shopping needs. Steve and Katherine are superb hosts and have a lovely home. If I find myself in the area soon, I'd definitely stay again.

    Ryan2019-09-23T00:00:00Z

  • A gorgeous self contained annexe, with everything you need and more! Far more spacious than expected. Katherine and Steve were so welcoming, and provided us everything we needed. Location is fantastic and we highly recommend the local pub too - delicious food and just a few minutes walk away!

    Jasmine2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! Just wow! Steve and Katherine have got to be one of the best Airbnb owners out there! As soon as we arrived we were met by friendliness and open hospitality and then introduced us to where we were staying (it’s nicer than the photos portray). Later on they popped by and recommended some nearby places in Shennington and invited us to a car show. It wasn’t long until I forgot that i was staying at an airbnb and not at a friends house. Such lovely people. I am an 18 year old young man who was far away from home and they went the extra mile to make sure i was okay throughout my week stay. The annex has a comfortable bed with a beautiful view of the garden (which clearly has had many of work put into to make it lovely and green). The wifi is relatively fast throughout the whole annex. The kitchen is large for an airbnb and comes with everything you need. The bathroom is cool! In a summary, this place is a lovely annex located in a lovely village and run by the most amazing hosts! I would recommend to anyone. -Jack

  • I booked this lodge for a surprise night away for my boyfriend. We were both blown away by how stunning it was. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. It’s a stay I know we will always remember and talk about with lovely memories. In our room were special touches such as a card, board games that I asked for & cookies. The bed was really comfy, the room was clean and the interior was modern. Onsite is a lounge, bar, restaurant and gym. You can even have massages and facials in your room if you wish! I’d definitely go back.

We have added heating inside the hut for the chilly evenings and also a fire pit on the terrace if you wish to sit out and admire the view and/or the stars!! Please note that the fire is not available if it is windy as we have neighbours with thatched roofs.
Great for visiting Bicester Village outlets, Woodstock and Blenheim, Stow, Stratford, Chipping Camden, Daylesford, Moreton in Marsh, Oxford. Great walks around the village.
  • A little gem of a place! The Shepherd’s hut is close enough to the hosts’ home that it’s easy to ask for anything...but completely secluded with a beautiful view and very comfortable bed.

  • A great little private hideaway. Jackie was very speedy to respond to messages. Thank you!

  • This is a great little find and really quirky. If you want a quiet place to just chill and enjoy the company of someone special without interruption then give this little space a try. We stayed in November and it was perfectly comfortable inside. There is a two-person seat outside that would have be great to just sit and look at the scenery but we were unlucky with the weather. Jackie was lovely and very helpful. We loved the lemon drizzle cakes left us upon arrival.

  • It was a huge pleasure to stay at the lovely studio of the Manor House. It is a beautiful property with seperate entrance. The Studio is equipped with everything you could need, super clean and great located to explore the Cotswolds or just spend a day or night at home. • Just book it is my advice for anyone reading this review. A great studio in a perfect area with lots of history. We loved the studio so much and can’t wait to return. It was spotless and our host Alison and Mike where available if needed but gave us our privacy. The surrounding areas where idyllic filled with fantastic and welcoming people - food available around the studio was nothing short of perfection. Thanks again for everything including the cookies they where great !!

    Chris2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem of a place this is. The studio is immaculate and Alison and Mike the perfect hosts who are there if you need them in the magnificent adjoining Manor House. Well tucked away, the village is extremely friendly and I would definitely recommend going to the pub directly opposite for food and drinks. We were made to feel like one of the locals. All the must do visits around the Cotswolds are within a 30 minute drive or so which makes this a great base. You will not be disappointed.
