  • This cottage was a great place to stay and I would recommend it highly! It’s in a lovely location and is lovely and cosy to come back to after a day out in the rain! Despite the rain though the location is perfect with plenty of walks locally. It was also very child and doggy friendly! Jude was a wonderful host and we are definitely going to go back later in the year!

The Old House is a beautifully quirky and rustic 400 year old thatched cottage set within an English country garden; we are nestled in the lee of St Kenelm’s Church in the heart of Upton Snodsbury. You’ll love the heavily beamed ceilings and timber framed walls, it has many original features and the cosy rooms have warm rugs, comfy sofas and log burning stoves. We enjoy welcoming visitors from the world over to share the sense of history in our little patch of Worcestershire.
Your Space is a cosy ground floor bedroom and private en-suite with a generous sized shower, as well as the sole use of an adjoining sitting room with large inglenook fireplace and log burner, plus two external doors opening onto the front and rear gardens. The bedroom has its own external door leading onto a garden path, you’ll be given a key to come and go as you please. Although small, the room has a vaulted beamed ceiling and double aspect leaded light windows with pretty views, giving it a bright and airy feel. There is underfloor heating in the bedroom and a cast iron electric logburner helps make it extra toasty. The room is furnished with two single beds, cotton bed linen and towels, bedside table and lamp, chair and small chest of drawers. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in your room. An ancient door leads you into the sitting room with a large inglenook fireplace, comfy sofa and piano. You have sole use of this room and are welcome to relax in front of the fire, watch tv or browse through our books. Breakfast is served in the family kitchen around the table next to the rayburn. In fine weather you are welcome to use the front garden, sit on the bench under the apple tree and watch our hens as they scratch their way around the old English roses and lavender.
The village of Upton Snodsbury is only 10 minutes drive from Junction 6 on the M5, but it could be a million miles away as you are immersed in the rural landscape of the Worcestershire countryside with its many listed and timber framed properties. We are within easy reach of Worcester, Stratford on Avon and Pershore. The spa towns of Cheltenham, Droitwich and Malvern are also close at hand. There are countless historic places of interest on our doorstep including many N T properties; Hanbury Hall, Croome Court of Capability Brown fame, Coughton Court, Greyfriars and Ragley Hall. Our village is blessed with many footpaths, bridleways and green lanes through fields and woodlands winding past farms and leading to picturesque villages with names such as White Ladies Aston and Naunton Beauchamp. The Worcestershire Millennium Way is a very popular walking route which passes our front gate and we are happy to help with advice and guidance on exploring this lovely part of the world. The night sky is especially beautiful from our village due to lack of street lights, but we can loan torches if you wish to go for a moonlit walk. Upton Snodsbury village Stores and Post Office are open six days per week and provide a valuable and friendly service to locals and visitors. The Oak pub and Twisted Spoon Tearooms is a short walk away across one field, they both have excellent seasonal menus and are open all day, seven days a week. Church services are held each Sunday at 11am and visitors are always made welcome. Upton Snodsbury is a very convenient location to access the numerous and varied high profile events which take place in this part of the Midlands. These include The Cheltenham Festivals, Malvern Spring, Autumn and Three Counties Shows. Upton on Seven folk and music festivals, Shakespearean Theatres in Stratford on Avon, The Severn Valley steam railway and a wide variety of musical events in Worcester Cathedral, including the famous Three Choirs Festival. Elgar's birthplace is nearby, as are the iconic Malvern Hills from which he gained much of his inspiration.
  • This place must rank up there as one of the Airbnb best. Beautiful, comfortable house. Amazing amenities. Thoughtful, friendly hosts. Plus, location, location, location. • Lynda’s cottage is every bit as charming as the photos suggest. On arrival, we were made to feel very welcome and given tea and cake in front of a roaring log fire in the cozy sitting room. A delicious full English breakfast was provided in the lovely farmhouse style kitchen, setting us up for the active day we had planned. If you want an authentic country cottage experience with an absolutely delightful host, we cannot recommend Lynda’s place highly enough!

    Barry2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lynda has a beautiful thatched cottage right beside the churchyard, which is so pretty and peaceful. Lynda and her husband were wonderful hosts and it was a real delight to have a home-cooked breakfast made by Lynda, and to chat with her about all sorts of things, in the morning.

A quiet room overlooking the rear garden and offering a great combination of comforts and conveniences. You will enjoy a good night’s sleep on a luxury pocket-sprung mattress on a double divan bed. Whether you have come to Worcester for business, study, or relaxation, I have created a comfortable space for my visitors by fitting the room with a flat screen TV with BT pause/ rewind box, high-speed fibre WiFi and a dressing table/ workspace desk.
The bedroom is light and comfortable with a double divan bed and contemporary white furniture. It faces the garden so it is very quiet. It has plenty of storage space, both drawers and a wardrobe. There are black-out blinds and curtains. An HD television with BT YouView box (pause TV, rewind etc) is in the room. The shared bathroom is bright and clean, and well equipped with toiletries. There is super fast fibre broadband throughout the house. The room charge includes as much tea (a wide variety from black, green, white, roobuis, fruit and camomile) and coffee as you want to drink. There is cereal, muesli, fruit, yoghurt and bread/ toast, jams, marmalade etc for breakfast.
Very quiet part of Worcester. Small row of shops 200 metres. Friendly, pleasant neighbourhood. Worcester is an historic city, famed for its cathedral where King John is buried and for its Norman crypt. The river Severn flows through the heart of the city and there are lovely picturesque footpaths both sides of the river. Worcester is home to the world famous Worcestershire sauce made at the nearby Lea and Perrins factory. The historic home of Royal Worcester porcelain; there is a museum and shop selling their wares near the cathedral. The site of the last battle of the civil war was fought in fields nearby. Charles II rallied his troops from the tower of Worcester Cathedral. Worcester is known as the 'Faithful City' due to its support for the monarchy at that time.

  • I lived at Clive's home for an extended period due to an internship at a nearby hospital, and I have been really happy to stay there! Clive and his wife are really welcoming and friendly. The bed is good and the room is a nice size, perfect if you spendt a lot of time out and about, and don't really need that much space. The accommodation is a good distance from town, but the busses are easy to figure out and Clive has been good at helping with that, and to finde the fastest way to the hospital too. Would definitely think of staying with them again if I and/or my partner was going to Worcester :-)

  • Stayed at Jessica and Adil's place for a few nights - the room was as advertised in the pictures, comfortable and with essentials. What we really loved about the place was the privacy and the ease of check in and check out. Jessica took good care of what we needed and was very pleasant. Adil kept communicating throughout the visit whenever we needed. Definitely good value for money, I would recommend!

Meadow View is set in the middle of picturesque countryside just outside of the town of Pershore.
  • This is a really nice space. Slightly quirky, modern and very comfortable with lots of nice touches. Not at all cold and corporate as many AirBnB places can be. We were there in a very cold, wet and windy February. Being newly renovated, it was warm, cosy and a nice place to be on a winter's night. Close to Pershore and Worcester it is in a great position surrounded by fields and a 100 yards off the the A44. Highly recommend this place and will be staying again next time we are in the area.

  • A perfect little studio with everything you could need for a short stay. Very comfortable, cosy and quiet, just off a country road but locating the studio was no problem as Jessica sent perfect instructions on how to find it. Easy check-in with the keybox and the extra little touches that Jessica left were very thoughtful. Already looking to book again! Thanks Jessica.

    Reece2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • You’ll find a truly thoughtful host at this beautifully presented studio annex that boasts many creature comforts... including a well stocked breakfast cupboard! Wendie has raised the bar and set a standard far higher than any I have seen elsewhere. If only all Air BnB’s could be like this one!

    Donna2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very much as described on AirBNB, this is an ideal self-contained stop-over (we were visiting friends) or for a longer stay around Worcester. It is at the end of a quiet and secluded rural lane with great privacy, having its own entrance and patio area, and everything finished to a lovely standard. Our host - Wendy - was super keen to help, but also got the balance right in leaving us to settle in and enjoy. We would definitely stay again. Good quality all round.

A beautiful spacious room facing the garden and morning sun. This is advertised as single room, but it has s double bed. Guests have exclusive use of a lovely large bathroom with power-shower, private sitting room. Guests are also welcome to use the kitchen and hot tub.
This is a comfortable room with a full double bed. The position of the bed against the wall means we advertise it as a single, but would be more than happy to accommodate 2 guests if they are happy to manage getting in and out!
This is a quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of Worcester. Worcestershire countryside only a stone's throw away and pleasant rural walks on the doorstep. • I had a lovely quiet evening here outside in the paddock, sitting at the little table next to the caravan, with the swallows swooping around and the sun setting in gorgeous surrounding countryside. At 9.30pm, when inside but with the door still open, a beautiful healthy mature fox padded softly past about 10ft away unaware I was there. • Lovely little place for a couple's get away. Really nice touches, thank you for the prosecco and the laundry capsules! The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed looking up at the sky, gazing at the stars in the evening. We went to a local slip pottery session in Worcester through airbnb due to bad weather but his flat gave us a very comfortable base to fierce the stormy weather. Matt is very responsive and I can't recommend this property enough! Thank you!

    Kamma2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Mary’s place is absolutely perfect and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Absolutely pristine and very stylish, with everything you need plus more. Matt is very responsive and his parents (who looked after the place when we were there) were brilliant - bringing round a Prosecco flute to help us with the complimentary fizz! The bathroom is very luxurious with a fabulous shower. The bed is super comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need to fully cater for yourself. But of course the hot tub (with dressing gowns and slippers provided) is the pinnacle - you can’t beat it for watching the moon and stars rise surrounded by fields with a fizz in hand! Thank you so much Matt. Will certainly return.

Piddlebrook is a freshly refurbished, self contained ground-floor studio flat attached to the main house - The Brook. Situated at a quiet location down a cul de sac, the flat is tastefully decorated to a high standard. The kitchen and living area has a grand outlook onto a large and beautiful garden. The busy pond is home to mallard, moorhen, and the grey heron visits frequently. The village shop, postoffice, and two pubs are within easy walking distance.
Guests travelling with young children need to be cautious, as the pond at the bottom of the rear garden is only partially fenced.
The studio flat is beautifully located in the countryside, on the edge of the quiet Worcestershire village of Inkberrow. There are plenty of footpaths in the area. For further information on its history and local amenities, you can check local Inkberrow website.
  • Top quality accommodation in both the studio flat and the house. All my guests loved the location and the whole set up. It made a fantastic start to my wife’s 50th birthday celebration weekend. We will be back again and again !

    Gavin2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful little place! Cosy, clean and modern. The layout makes great use of the space—the open-plan kitchen/lounge has a breakfast bar and feels very spacious. The patio door opens to beautiful English countryside. And there’s a bench outside to enjoy watching the ducks and other wildlife. I highly recommend Piddlebrook. Thanks George for your great hospitality!

  • A really fantastic set up of accommodation twinned with the most beautiful village. I have recommended this studio flat to my colleagues for when they stay in the area.

    Gavin2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed for 6 months plus at this beautiful location. The setting is idyllic and the whole village is so laid back and friendly. The studio flat is a brilliant set up and is always spotlessly clean. The communication between my self and the hosts is always met with very prompt positive answers whenever any issues arise which I might add is very rare. A real pleasure to have found this place.

Varden House is a spacious and comfortable place for 6 guests to relax and enjoy their stay in rural Worcestershire. Downstairs features a fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, a double bedroom with shower room en suite, an additional WC, and a spacious living/dining area. Upstairs there is a twin room (2 single beds) and a double bedroom, with a family bathroom featuring a shower over the bath. The 20x20m rear garden is shared with our other holiday cottage. Our prices include VAT.
As parents and grandparents ourselves we understand the importance of child safety, child comfort and parental needs which is why we are happy to offer cot beds, high chairs and stair gates throughout the cottages, all available on request. A large solar array and ground source heat pumps provide much of your power and all of your heat for your stay, all generated from renewable sources right here at the farm. A washer and dryer are provided in a utility room just opposite the cottage (20m) across the courtyard, free to use Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 09:00 -17:00 in the summer and 10:00 - 15:00 in the winter. A rotary washing line is available for drying (which we do encourage to save energy). We are also happy to now offer high speed (75mb) broadband, perfect for Netflix, skype, gaming or work.
The cottage is set on our farm so we have plenty of space if you like a walk in the countryside. Pershore town centre is host to an Asda supermarket, Tesco Metro as well as cosy coffee shops and several pubs.
  • Lovely remote location, spacious living area and great facilities. We will definitely return next time we come back to Worcestershire.

The accommodation is part of a converted stable block sharing a courtyard with the main house. It offers an en suite double bedroom, lounge and fully fitted kitchen on a working alpaca breeding farm, fibre studio and shop. Both rooms have full length windows and double French doors that open out into the south facing courtyard. Whilst it is set on a main road, you only have to step into the paddocks to completely lose yourself in the magic of alpacas and the peace of the countryside.
It is conveniently located for easy access to Worcester for the races, the cricket, cathedral and riverside walks. Stratford on Avon is within easy reach for everything Shakespeare. And if city life is more to your liking, Birmingham with the National Indoor Arena, National Exhibition Center and National Sea life Center are within an hours drive. More locally there are enough footpaths including the Wychavon Way, bridleways and nature reserves to keep the most wandering spirit happy. If that is not enough, the Cotswolds offers pretty villages and historic houses for more culture.Livery available for horses visiting with you. We accept well behaved dogs too.

  • Perfect base for exploring the Worcestershire countryside. The unit is great for couples, very well equipped and comfortable. The owners are very welcoming & we made friends with their Spring Spaniels.

    Eileen2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • A great cosy space with everything provided if you want to cook and relax. The pub was very good a short mile down the road. There were some great walks around although a little overgrown in places! Victoria and Roger were very friendly and welcoming.

    Paul2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice location on an Alpaca farm run by a very dedicated and hardworking family! The shop with wool and home-made goodies was a nice extra for some souvenirs ;) We stayed here for 4 nights with our 20 month old who loved all the animals around (including the dogs and runner ducks). A car would be required to stay here, and the place has a good location for day trips in all directions around. The apartment has everything you need and is a comfortable place to stay, with access to the outside space as well. We enjoyed!

    Nynke And Mike2019-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, Victoria was a great host and the alpacas are amazingly strange little creatures. The accommodation is clean and perfect when bringing along dogs. Easy check in and check out. Thank you

    Carly2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic time staying at Victoria and Rogers. Such a beautiful and friendly setting. You are a little way away from any supermarket but this isn’t really a problem if you’re looking for a place that’s rural. There is plenty of pubs in a 5-7mile radius. We ate at The Oak and had a lovely meal there for very respectable prices. Roger asked us if would like to join them for a BBQ which was very nice of them and we had an extremely pleasant evening. There are plenty of footpaths and walks near by to get out into the open. We highly recommend this place for animal lovers. My 18month old adored the dogs, ducks, llamas and alpacas, everyday her smile widened as she heard the ducks quacking. (This was only when we actually went outside near their coop) The room was very quaint and had everything you needed for a nice breakaway. Bed was nice, spacious and comfy too.

    Lloyd2019-04-22T00:00:00Z

Our accommodation is sited in a picturesque village ideally located to explore the local area including the Cotswolds, Worcestershire, Malvern and the historic Stratford-Upon-Avon. The route through our village is a very popular area for cyclists and walkers. There are 2 excellent pubs in the village, all within walking distance and a great Tea Shop. The M5 is 15mins. There are many restaurants in Pershore (4miles): Belle House, Thai, Chinese, Indian and an award winning fish and chip shop!
We offer a warm welcome at The Barn. The double bedroom is very comfortable with a King size bed and separate large bathroom with a very inviting bath, an often welcome addition after a busy day. You are welcome to use our personal bathroom which has a shower. You will find us relaxed and accommodating to your needs. We offer a light breakfast, however, if you would prefer something more substantial, our local village tea shop, AuntieRita's, offer a good breakfast, also Hillers Farm shop, which is 10mins drive. We run our own business from home and therefore, if needed, we are on hand to help with a lift to the train station, directions and advise on where to find good beer and fine food! Like most barns, we are situated on a road. Our situation is enroute to another village, and is mostly quiet but for the weekly school runs and commutes to work early mornings and early evening.
Our village is friendly and very quiet. The Wychavon Way path passes through the village, a 40mile walk from Droitwich Spa to Broadway in the Cotswolds. We have various trails to follow and enjoy the Worcestershire countryside and it is a popular choice for Ramblers of all ages. We are situated on a very popular cycle route. During the weekends you are often wakened by the chatter of cyclists passing by or a very noisy woodpecker angrily shooing our cats away! We have 2 pubs within walking distance, offering good beer and food. The beer gardens are a pleasant stop on the walk back from the very pretty Grafton Wood Walk.
  • Simon and Carole have a lovely spot and were very welcoming... plus possibly one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in!

    Phil2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely barn conversion in a quintessential Worcestershire village, friendly and accommodating hosts, cute pets and a comfy bed. It's an old building so those over 6ft might struggle with the ceiling heights in places, but this home has bucket loads of charm and is very peaceful.

    Thomas2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully presented with very comfortable bed. Breakfast was really luxurious.

    Anton2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Carole and Simon were both so friendly and welcoming, we were instantly put at ease. The room and bathroom were both immaculately clean, quiet and the bed was so comfortable we slept just as well as at home. Thé Barn is also home to one dog and two cats, all equally adorable and super friendly, an absolute pleasure to be around! Lots of tea, coffee, toast, fruit and cereal for breakfast, perfect start to the day. In all a very pleasant to stay in a beautiful home with charming hosts - I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend. Thank you both!

  • Carole and Simon are just perfect hosts, and their home is so stylish and welcoming. They really made our stay a joy, and we had a wonderful time in the area. Great location at the edge of the village, too!

  • Such a comfortable and stylish apartment, with everything thought about carefully and lots of nice little touches. I had slight prior reservations about accessing the apartment through the main house, but it was not an issue at all. Highly recommended in all respects.

    Belinda2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is just like the pictures but it’s so much bigger than you would think. So clean, so tastefully decorated, extra touches such as eggs, milk, bread, jams, butter etc was really fab. Bed was very comfortable, towels were lovely and soft and there’s a lovely big driveway so you don’t have to leave your car on the road. Couldn’t fault one bit of this apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • The location was not at all difficult to find. Vandna was a warm and wonderful host. They live next door and are prompt to resolve any issues or queries. We had arrived a bit late at night to check in, Raj met, welcomed and helped us to check in smoothly. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

  • The stay was amazing, Catriona is a lovely host and the hut is the best we’ve ever stayed in, spacious, well equipped, amazingly clean and comfy. Thank you for such a great stay, we’ll definitely be back

  • What a lovely place. Me and the boy went to do a bit of walking and relax without the Mrs in our ears. What we got was so much more. Amazing local produce that Catriona was able to source for us including her own sausages. An amazing use of space, including a full bathroom, kitchen living space and bedroom. Also a wood burning stove that kept us cosy on a cold February night. Truly sad to leave.

  • Where to start?!.. Absolutely outstanding hospitality from Catriona and Alec! They both went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect for us. We even extended our stay as we were enjoying ourself so much and they made us feel at home! Evie the dog waiting for me in the morning really made my day bright as soon as I woke up! Attention to detail in the hut is amazing, anything you need is available and we loved all the gins! Perfect finishing touches. Thank you for spending the day in Malvern with us with Evie it really made our trip extra special and being with you both at the Verzon. Will definitely be back! Cannot recommend your place enough 5* in every aspect that we will never forget. Thank you both so much and will see you again!

  • A fabulous place, much bigger than expected and beautifully presented. Hosts were brilliant, couldn't have done more. We were able to explore the farm, meet the animals, collect eggs, walk, as well as enjoying a very cosy break in the hut with a very warm stove and lots of little touches. We will return. Thank you.

  • We (2 adults, 2 children) had a brilliant stay at Catriona and Alec's hut. It was so clean and cosy and they were so so welcoming. They allowed the children to collect eggs in the morning and to feed the cows, the views are wonderful and so was the local gin! It was totally relaxing and enjoyable, we shall definitely be going again. Highly recommended.
