Set in one of the most elevated positions in the beautiful Malvern Hills with panoramic views and direct private access to the celebrated walking spots. Elgar taught music here and played the organ in the adjoining Holywell Chapel!
Luxury Malvern accommodation set in one of the most elevated positions in the beautiful Malvern Hills with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. The Studio is part of Holywell Chapel's grounds which adjoin the Malvern Hills Conservators land, accessed via a private gate directly to the bridleway, cycle and footpath networks. Heading south you will reach the Iron Age British Camp hillfort, and North takes you to the Wyche Cutting and onto Great Malvern. Also, conveniently situated a short distance from the Great Malvern town centre and Theatre, the Three Counties Showground and Ledbury. Architect designed and constructed in 2013, the Studio offers a haven of tranquility for visitors. There are two bedrooms, one with King Size bed, the other with twin beds. One bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer.
A few hundred metres from the Holywell Spring, the area is steeped in history and has a really magical feeling. Our favourite pub, the Chase is a 25 minute walk the other side of the hill or there is the Wyche 15 minutes away. Come and enjoy!
  • We sat there and watched the clouds roll by from up high. Perfect. First trip with our 8 week old twins. Knew we wouldn't get out much, so this place was perfect.

  • Amazing views of the Malvern Hills. There were 4 adults and one 5 month year old and space was fine. A travel cot was provided for us although a high chair was not available. A few basic items were provided in the food cupboards. Overall a beautiful apartment with stunning views.

  • We had a lovely stay at the studio. The space was perfect. Location was perfect. We were looking for a space where we could just sit and enjoy a beautiful location and that was exactly what we got. The walk up into the hills is equally beautiful and worth doing. It’s the perfect space to sit back and relax. We had a lovely stay. Thank you

  • Cannot express enough how happy we were with The Studio! It made for the perfect weekend away with my boyfriend & the dog. The most amazing views from inside & even in February we could have the door open & enjoy the views from the balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning as you are sheltered from any wind & rain. Scenic walking trails right on your doorstep and SO many walks to be done, we could have walked all day! No need to drive as you are literally ON the side of the Malvern Hills. Really cannot thank Paddy enough for answering all my questions & the quick responses. Also for the restaurant recommendations - we went to The Inn at Welland for dinner - SPECTACULAR food! And then the Cottage in the Wood for a Sunday Roast and again, amazing food but also insanely good views! We are already planning on booking again! Thanks Paddy ☺️

  • We had an amazing time staying at Paddy’s place. The location is stunning and the bad weather didn’t really matter! The space itself was spotless and we had a great time

  • Really enjoyed my stay at Vanessa’s. I booked fairly last minute, but Vanessa replied to my questions really quickly and made the whole process seamless. It’s a lovely room and large separate bathroom, beautifully and stylishly decorated. The location is ideal. It’s in a very quiet residential street, with ample free parking but only a very short walk to the centre of Malvern.

  • We had a great stay at Dawn’s house for my 30th Birthday. Would highly recommend!

    Sam2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great house in a great location! Lots of space for large groups and the kitchen was well equipped for entertaining. The spacious hot tub was the icing on the cake! Hosts were really responsive too and very helpful.

  • Perfect space for a weekend gathering with friends from across the globe. The place has absolutely everything you need for a weekend away. There's also games to play and children's toys which was a lovely extra for the 2.5yr old and baby in the group. Lounge slightly small if you had the maximum of guests however there is a second seating area and a large conservatory dining space too.

  • An awesome place to stay, well located to explore Malvern and climb the beacon summit. Dawn and Julie are great at communicating and accommodated all our needs. We were a big group of 12 plus kids and the rooms were spacious with each having their own en suite which was very handy. There were loads of kids toys also, the children were well catered for. We were able to cook a Christmas dinner in the well equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed. It was very clean, spacious and well decorated, we could not have been more pleased with our stay, hoping to come back again in the summer. Perfect!

    Ayesha2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Henwick House. Our party of 10 adults and 8 kids filled the house pretty well and Dawn put a load of Christmas decorations up that made the place feel really homely. There were lots of toys for the kids to play with and the outside space was great for them to run about. We had a great (albeit muddy) walk to a local pub for a drink and Dawn's recommendation of another local pub for Sunday lunch was very welcoming. Our baby monitors worked between the main house and separate patio rooms which was very useful and everyone seemed to sleep better than they do at home!

    Ben2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely, large and beautiful property - the host added lovely touches and the property photos really doesn’t do the place justice! The best large house we have stayed in so far.

    David2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I had a wonderful time at this place. The play area was so lovely for the children & the views were spectacular. Dawn was helpful and very quick to respond at all times. The house is well equipped & there were some lovely touches from Dawn for our friends birthday - balloon, chocolates, Prosecco. So very kind! Can highly recommend!!!

Are you looking for a cosy retreat for two? You may have found what you are looking for …. tucked away at the end of a no-through road in the rural heart of the three counties you will find our shepherd’s hut placed at the centre of Farm Life.
Our Shepherd's hut is situated within a newly planted English Woodland, at the centre of farm life. During the day you will hear the bustle of farm life; animals being fed, lambing, calving, tractors scraping up or harvesting. At night you will be enveloped by a huge sky and hear the hooting of Barn and Little Owls and the odd moo or baa as the animals settle down for the night. While at the centre of farm life you will experience a great sense of remoteness and peace at being far away from the world. Our Shepherd's Hut Hideaway arrived at Nash End Farm on 3rd October 2013 having been newly crafted in Worcestershire by Riverside Shepherd's Huts. A fusion of Victorian charm and contemporary luxury, your hut contains everything you need for a relaxing break away: a full size double bed, central heating, hot and cold running water, shower, flushing WC, a fully equipped fitted kitchen ready for you to do some serious cooking, plenty of storage for all of your things, all within the hut. There's no need to venture outside until you're ready to take on the day. Please enquire about bringing children and we are no longer taking bookings with dogs. Please also look at our other lisitings on airbnb. Our Iglu Hut is a beautiful aspen clad space with a Scandinavian feel. It's a very similar space to the Shepherd's Hut and I a confident that you will love it just as much. During the warmer months with also offer camping at Eldersfield Tipis also listed on air bnb.
It's remoteness. Although you feel far away from the world, we are central to the three counties and within a 20/30 minute drive of a range of towns, cities and tourist attractions including, the Malverns, the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and the county towns of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford.
  • Such a beautiful little hut in the middle of nowhere! Stunning scenery and the perfect escape!

    Ri2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Nash End Farm was the peaceful break we both needed. A cosy and warm shepherd's hut that felt like the perfect place to wait out storm Dennis. Rosalind was super accommodating and even picked us up from Gloucester station which was really great as we don't drive. The farm was lovely and all the animals were super friendly. Rosalind also let us know when the lambs were being fed and invited us to join. Overall a fantastic stay and we would love to see the place in the summer.

    Cat2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely place! If you’re thinking of staying in the area this is the spot for you! So warm and cosy, perfect size, amazing location, lovely dogs! Rosalind was so helpful and really friendly. Really good value - can’t wait to go back. Digger the dog is a local legend!

    Will2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful and picturesque farm. We had a lovely time and are very grateful for such cozy and warm (in every sense) place to come home to in the height of English winter. The dogs welcomed us every time we returned to the farm and even guided us to the hut at various times. The Shepherd’s hut is the perfect size and it’s full working kitchen allowed us cook for ourselves after our daily excursions! Thank you again for the perfect place for a much needed getaway.

    Devangi2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • It was so lovely to stay for a few days! When we first arrived we struggled to find the house (our inability to read the directions!) but were met by a lovely doggy who help us find the way and was always available for a bit of affection. The hut itself is amazing, beautifully clean and surprisingly more spacious than you’d think. My partner and I especially enjoyed the game of scrabble provided. While there’s not much to do in the immediate area, it’s not far to drive to amenities, we drove into Gloucester to have a bit of an explore. It’s a really great place to stay, thank you so much for having us!

    Elise2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect little space - privacy but owners nearby if you need anything. Beautiful walks and country side on the doorstep.

Church End Farm Barn is a converted, handsome, period, red brick detached barn conversion on the edge of the village of Church End in a rural location with access to delightful countryside walks. The stylish and sympathetic barn conversion, took place in 2014 and is located across from the principal house and is set within a private red brick walled garden . A mid century modern bungalow set in beautiful countryside. Outdoor pool heated ( available May-September). Dogs welcome for a £50 charge per dog per stay. Space for play, relaxation, gatherings or meetings. We encourage our guests to adopt a green philosophy, and think about waste while they stay with us. Please respect our neighbours and the surroundings and limit noise outdoors at all times. Sorry no hen or stag parties. Strictly not a party house in line with Airbnb policy.
Parsons Pleck is a large mid century modern bungalow, with open plan living and dining. There is a separate TV room and a large games room/studio space with ping pong table, table football, and TV with Wii and Playstation. (these can all be moved out to create a large yoga/meditation space). There are 6 bedrooms, 2 ensuite, and two shared shower rooms. All bedrooms offer flexibility of double or twin beds. The rear of the main room is glass overlooking the garden and fields beyond. And with the large sliding doors open you can move seamlessly onto the wrap around deck. Please note this is not a party house. Decorations are not allowed internally or externally. Please think of the environment for a celebration....flowers are lovely! A well equipped kitchen that can deal with most things! A large fridge freezer with ICEMAKER, and a separate wine fridge. A nespresso machine (please bring your own pods) There is a BBQ, with seating both to eat al fresco. We use environmentally friendly products to clean the house, and are switching as much as possible to non plastic washing up brushes etc. We would love to encourage all our guests to think about the environment as much as possible, and even challenge them to leave as little behind as possible in the way of waste. We recycle left over food...so that is a start. We have an extensive list of private chefs who would be delighted to come and cater for special events, catering for pretty much all tastes! Master Chef finalists amongst them. Food is important in any gathering, and Worcestershire is a hub for fantastic produce.
Birlingham is a beautiful village set in the heart of Worcestershire. We are surrounded by fantastic countryside, close to many places of interest, and great for walking and enjoying the outdoors. The house is well equipped with things to entertain you during your stay, but do explore the surroundings. What we do ask however is that guests respect the fact that this is a thriving village, and we have neighbours, who, whilst they like seeing people enjoying themselves, they don't need to hear endless screams of delight! So we ask guests to remember that whilst we want happy children, indeed happy adults, we would be grateful if guests moderate noise when in the garden. Sound is amplified across the fields and what may sound like happy laughter in the garden sounds like a concert across the way! There is a 9pm curfew on use of the pool. Walking is fantastic, you are close to Cheltenham, Malvern, Broadway and all that the Cotswolds have to offer. We provide OS maps at the house, but do research walks in advance.
  • Parsons Pleck is a simply wonderful house - spacious, stylish, communal, so very comfortable, privacy and homely. We hired it for my 50th birthday celebrations and it was everything we hoped it would be - everyone had a tremendous time and all guests commented on how 'amazing' the venue was. Wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone for similar.

    Nick2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful home. The space was perfect for our group having just competed in the Maverick Cotswolds Race. Highly recommend! Thank you!

  • A modern, comfortable, beautifully designed, practical house in an idyllic setting. Great games room providing fun for all. Host was helpful and prompt with all responses and the local recommended chef we hired (El Torino - Matthew Leach) was perfect for our requirements. Definitely highly recommended especially for summer trips to make full use of the garden and pool.

  • A beautiful house, perfect for a group of friends and family to get together. The space is open and stylish & the rooms all a very good size. • Wow, a superb family weekend. The place was gorgeous and worked really well for our elderly relatives and canine friends. Would highly recommend!

  • Hill House is an amazing place where you'll be blown away by its size, location and beauty. We instantly felt at home for the weekend and it was definitely the perfect venue to celebrate my birthday. Neil & Caroline are perfect hosts in making sure everything is ready and checking in with guests. We will certainly be talking about how amazing Hill House is for a long time to come! The pictures don't do this Hill House justice, seriously just book it - you won't regret it!!

  • The property far exceeded expectations in every sense. Very well appointed rooms and a great homely feel. Superb setting for any special occasion and very communicative, helpful hosts. Top marks.

  • We were a family party of 9 couples (plus baby) celebrating my 65th Birthday and chose the house particularly because it provided us with 9 bedrooms. What we discovered was a house that had 9 bedrooms but so much more. Hill House proved to be an absolutely perfect venue for our family gathering - beautiful living and dining areas and so much space inside and outside the house. Our weather wasn't great but it didn't seem to matter. The views from the house across the countryside are just wonderful. We had a joyous weekend, thank you.

    Ellis2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • For a large group this house is perfect. As a group of 15 this was a luxury retreat to enjoy whilst working at a local show.

    Peter2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • The house was everything we had hoped for. The beds were very comfy and the place was lovely and clean. The hosts were fantastic at responding quickly and provided some great recommendations for a walk and to have a chef in!

    Amy2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing house in beautiful surroundings, spotlessly clean with great facilities and a quick response from the owners. Plus little touches like local apple juice and soap in the bathrooms. There was plenty to keep our big group happy over the weekend and it made my 50th birthday very special.

  • Characterful 17th Century building in the heart of Upton Upon Severn. Lovely wonky walls, ceilings and floors tell the history of the place.

  • Wonderful property. Very clean, stylish and in a great location. Highly recommend.

    Hillary2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fabulous cottage - it has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. It has lovely squashy settees and all the amenities you could possibly need. It is on the high street with pubs and restaurants a few steps away. The beds are super comfy and the most important attribute is that is it lovely and warm. We have gone to other properties where we have been shivering when we arrived but the heating was on when we got there and throughout our stay and it really makes a big difference when the weather is wet and cold. You will not be disappointed if you book this cottage - there are three lovely bedrooms - it was difficult to choose which one to use ! We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Debbie.

    Ruth2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely house, absolutely spotless. Upton is a beautiful place, even in winter. We had everything we needed and I highly recommend this place and the fish and chip shop around the corner 😉

    Jess2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was the first time I have booked an Airbnb and this property exceeded my expectations. It was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished with some lovely personal touches. I spent 3 nights with my 3 adult children over the Christmas period and there was plenty of space for us all. Although there are 3 double beds, I think 6 adults staying would be a bit snug, especially with only 1 bathroom. Please also be warned that the sloping ceiling in the bathroom could be an issue for tall people. My son is 6ft 1 and he found it a little awkward when using the shower. The kitchen is well equipped, with a double oven, so we were able to cook a full Christmas dinner easily. Plenty of fridge space to cater for all the food we took too! We enjoyed a meal at the Boat House but there appeared to be a good choice of other local eateries/pubs. I would thoroughly recommend staying in this property.

  • Lovely flat in the centre of Upton upon Severn. Clean and comfortable with everything that you will need. Really interesting decor and great range of books. During my time there Upton was on the verge of flooding. Carola’s communication was warm and she was flexible around my potential change of plans given the rising water levels. I would recommend this place and would stay there again!

    Simon2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely brilliant - the decor of the home is so charming, and the space feels larger than it is. Carola communicates wonderfully, and makes sure you have the best time possible, she’s willing to go above and beyond

Restaurants, pubs, nature reserves, rural villages. You’ll love our house; it's very quiet, unlike the town, clean, spacious & elegant. It is our UK home, so looks and feels like a real home, not a holiday-let. It is a quick walk to Upton (10-12 minutes flat walk, via quiet walkways or streets. Off-road parking at the property. Great for couples. If two guests want the second bedroom, you trigger by entering THREE guests!! Responsible adults only! Contact me now to check your needs.
The kitchen and conservatory are large and the conservatory a lovely space to sit or eat.
Upton is a delightful, small black-and-white, historical village on the River Severn. There are numerous walks along the river and elsewhere, direct from the house. Malvern is just 4 miles away as are the splendid Malvern Hills. Three Counties show ground is just 2 miles away. Clive's Farm is a gentle walk to buy organic meat, good veg and home-produced cider! There are several good pubs in the village of Upton and some great gastronomic inns and restaurants a short drive away. The local Thrishna Bangla restaurant is exceptional. Five miles away is one of the finest Thai restaurants anywhere. Details in the guest book! You can walk from the house to the centre of Upton in 10-12 minutes, via lanes or ancient, lamplit walkways that cut through the whole village.
  • Amazing house, very clean and spacious! Easy to discuss any queries with the hosts. In a lovely little town with great restaurants. Couldn’t recommend this place enough

  • My partner and I stayed for five nights to celebrate her birthday. We had a wonderful time, using the house as a base to visit Witley Court and Worcester, as well as being perfect for staying in, watching DVD's and cooking for each other in the well-stocked and spacious kitchen! The town itself was nice and peaceful, with a quaint and pretty high street. The house was exactly as described - spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, with easy to follow check-in instructions and house rules, and clear communication throughout. Thank you to Angus, Adrienne and Kim for ensuring our stay in Upton was a thoroughly pleasant one! Elwin and Sophie

Ex - grooms room, in the grounds of a beautiful country mansion. Self contained bedsit/studio with parking. Stabling available at extra cost if you want to turn this into an equine holiday! 4 miles from Tewkesbury and on the outskirts of Twyning, a beautiful location for a country break. Seasonal breakfast ingredients provided, but we are afraid you'll have to cook them yourself! Tea and coffee making facilities also provided. Fresh milk and bread will be in the fridge when you arrive.
  • This is my second time staying at The Groomsroom and enjoyed it as much as the last time. Its a very quiet location and your neighbour is a horse called Midnight, who pops his head out of the stable when he hears your about. There is nothing that you will want that's not already there. Everything you need you will find here and the hosts are great. I will look forward to staying here again when I am in Cheltenham. Parking is no problem at all,

  • The Lodge is a lovely studio apartment in a converted dairy building on a farm - everything as described, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. A good location just a few minutes drive from Great Malvern and the Malvern Hills. Marion and her husband provided a warm welcome and plenty of provisions for breakfast including fresh bread, milk, eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit juice and cereals. Communications were all prompt and check in all fine. The day we left was during 'storm Ciara' a day of high winds and heavy rain and Marion offered us to check out later if it suited us - this was much appreciated so we could start our journey when the worst of the weather had passed. The Dairy and its two lodges were close to the farmhouse with ample parking and we were invited to walk along the paths around the farm. The only slight negative was the Lodges look out on to the courtyard/car port, with only a view of the fields to the side. But it as a lovely stay and we would go again and recommend to others.

    Louise2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Lodge is beautiful. It is surrounded by stunning views and the lodge itself is spacious, cosy and has lots of amenities to make sure all guests are comfortable. Marion is a great host who is kind and replies quickly. Thank you for a great stay :)

This quaint little annex is in the village of Kempsey and is fully furnished and self contained for the perfect convenient getaway. It is only 1 minute walk to the local shop, pubs, restaurants and bus stop.
This is a self contained apartment on the ground floor so is easily accessible, fully self contained and has its own entrance. This flat is the main residence of my parents in-law who travel a lot. We recruit out thier source while they are away. It's convenient for shopping and sightseeing and it is attached to our main family's home meaning we are always close by if you need anything or have any questions.
Kempsey is a large village with a friendly community. We are well serviced with a bus link into Worcester city, 5 pubs, a takeaway and a large corner shop/convenience store with a post office. There are plenty of country walks across country lanes, footpaths, fields and rivers. We are well connected to Worcester, Stratford, Birmingham, Malvern and the Cotswolds. We are only 5 mins from the M5. Living here always makes me feel like I'm on holiday.
  • Deema was very helpful with anything we needed. Good location and excellent value for money. Would highly recommend.

    Philip2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Deema is very welcoming, attentive and a lovely person. The annex is very private and has all the items you will need for a very comfortable stay. The local pubs are within walking distance and offer good, reasonably priced food. We were very happy with our stay and if we needed to be in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to book.

    Janice2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Really clean with modern kitchen and bathroom. Deema kindly left milk and cupcakes for us. She also offered to let us check out late the next day if we needed it. Highly recommend to stay here. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

  • Moira continues to be a great host and I will continue to book!

    Charlotte2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice stay at Moira’s. The studio is sparkling clean, with everything you need to cook a nice dinner. The smart tv is a big plus after a long day hiking. The convenient store is literally 30 seconds for the studio. Easy to communicate with, Moira let us check out late as our train was in the afternoon 😊 The only negative might be the size of the bed if you don’t want to end up kissing your hiking friend during the night 😉 but it was fine for the weekend. Thanks again Moira!

The Studio at Ostler's Cottage has recently been refurbished in a contemporary style with a ‘Scandinavian twist'. The Studio offers fabulous views across open countryside to The Malvern Hills in one direction and Bredon Hill in the other direction. It has it's own private access via granary steps. The Drum & Monkey, a 16th century inn, is 100 metres away, and the historic riverside town of Upton on Severn with its numerous shops, pubs and festivals is 1.5 miles away. A warm welcome awaits you!
Our local town Upton on Severn is both historic and picturesque. it offers visitors the opportunity to relax and enjoy the riverside location with its shops pubs and restaurants. Throughout the year Upton hosts music festivals with performances from some of the best musicians in the business, so whether you're taste is blues, jazz, folk or pop music you're sure to find something to enjoy. Also nearby is Malvern and the beautiful Malvern Hills which are perfect for walking and for stunning views over the three counties of Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire and beyond to the Welsh Mountains. At the foot of the hills is The Three Counties Showground where a huge range of events are held throughout the year. A little further afield are the historic cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester, great for sightseeing, history and shopping!
  • Carole's place is amazing value for money. Just a stone's throw away from the Malverns and the Cotswolds and sparkling clean throughout! Had a great stay...would highly recommend!

  • Beautiful and cosy space. Great quiet location with many places nearby. Carole was really welcoming - we didn’t want to leave!

    Emily2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • The Studio at Ostlers Cottage is cosy, clean, nicely furnished & warm with lovely views. The space is calm & restful and has beautiful light. The sunrise was beautiful across the fields & the autumn low sun warmly filled the loft. Definitely 'Hygge' as someone else reviewed. Carole left tea, coffee, fresh milk & biscuits & I loved the extra touch of some bright handpicked flowers & photos of the family pets. There is a key safe for easy check in. Fantastic scenic walks nearby. Upton is just over a mile away with the River Severn, pubs, cafes, shops, or just a short walk from The Studio is the Drum & Monkey where we received a very warm welcome. We had our own parking space & privacy during our stay, but Carole contacted us to check we had everything we needed. Would totally recommend Caroles place. Thank you!

  • Diane and Robin are great hosts, they made us feel very welcome in their lovely B&B. Extra bonus was the open fire in the living room and a great breakfast including Easter eggs! Beautiful garden to sit in. They lend us their bikes so we could make a lovely cycle down to the river Severn. Plenty to do in the surrounding area, beautiful Malvern hills, Upton upon Severn with plenty pubs/restaurants, Tewksbury and Gloucester nearby, even the Cotswolds so the B&B is also suitable for a longer stay.

  • Diane and Robin are extremely hospitable and made our weekend in the Malverns extremely enjoyable. Their breakfast was excellent and very welcomed, especially as they went out of their way to provide us with veggie sausages! The area that the B&B is in is close to Upton and we got some tips from Robin about where to walk and found the leaflet left for us inside the room helpful, would recommend the 8.5 mile walk ‘with a view from Heath Hill’! Overall had a great weekend and would wholeheartedly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a good value weekend away in the countryside!

A lovely well decorated Apartment in the heart of Malvern. Ideal location for walking, theater or touring the area. 5 minutes walk to the heart of Malvern, and Malvern Priory with free parking it is suitable for both business and leisure trips to this beautiful area.
With a large bedroom and living area, this basement apartment is suitable for both working visits or up to four people visiting the area for a weekend break. The fully equipped kitchen means that if you don't want to take advantage of one of the many excellent cafes and restaurants in Malvern you can cater for yourself and spend a quiet night in with a film on Netflix.
The property is situated on a typical leafy Malvern Road and is an Edwardian building that would have been familiar to Sir Edward Elgar who lived in the town for many years. Directly opposite the entrance is the Manor Park Sports Club it is only a five minute walk form the town centre and the Great Malvern Train station.
  • This was a surprisingly large spacious apartment, conveniently placed for exploring the town and hills without needing to use the car. There was plenty of warm water for showering after a long day out walking and the apartment was comfortable to relax in during the evening,Netflix was an added bonus. WiFi was good and there was everything we needed to self cater for a few days. We booked very late and David responded quickly with clear directions and instructions for access. If you are interested in geocaching this is an excellent location for several days activities.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come again when next we come to the Malvern Show. The flat was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom and living rooms were quite large. Very efficient gas central heating. Plenty of electrical sockets. Easy to park in the grounds of the house. We walked into Malvern, ( up a steep hill but down on the way back) and ate in Prezzo and Ask. Host very quick to respond to emails. He also emailed us to check all was well during our stay. Thank you.

Comfy, private Barn studio, with direct access to Malvern common. Perfect for couples, dogs welcome. Close to the showground and walking distance from a good pub. Continental breakfast provided, flexible check in, contact host for details. The Malvern Hills is an area of outstanding natural beauty, perfect for country walks and bike rides. Great Malvern is filled with boutique shops, has a renowned theatre, great pubs and is close to the Cotswolds and Cheltenham.
    Off street parking, outside space.
  • We loved staying in the barn for the weekend. Susan communicated with us very clearly regarding check in etc. She said she would provide us with bread, milk, cereals and fruit and when I said we are vegan she said no problem. She even provided vegan spread and cakes which was extremely thoughtful and very much appreciated. The barn is equipped with everything you might need from towels and hairdryer down to a hot water bottle - not that we needed it as we were warm as toast! The barn is really cosy and in a great location. It's quiet and peaceful but very close to local amenities. I've stayed in a few airbnb's in this area and this is definitely my favourite. We will be back.

    Justine2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The barn is such an amazing little space that was perfect for me and my sausage dog Monty. It's a real gem of a place that is great for dog walkers and ramblers to the hills. I was really impressed with the touches (such as jars of condiments and some foodstuffs like oats) and thoughtfulness to the place. Susan went above and beyond when I could not get the microwave to work. She also checked in with me when I said I hadn't been too well for the first day or so of my 5 night stay. Well worth it.

    Becky2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Susan’s place is exactly as is in the pictures, very clean, cosy and has homely touches. Susan is so easy to get hold of and very responsive. The barn is great for couples to see Malvern or solo business people. I would definitely recommend and go back again.

    Phoebe2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Warm welcome, amazing hospitality from a wonderful lady who makes you fee like a friend not a stranger

    Sarah2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Susan is great to communicate with to arrange the booking. There is plenty to choose from for breakfast. Heating is all electric plug in radiators so be sure to adjust the timers, especially if staying in winter. Also there is a microwave but no other cooker. For a weekend break this was fine for us. As Susan describes it the WiFi is “iffy” and mobile signal can be weak-perhaps the price to pay for a pretty location. The lockbox makes check in and out very easy. It was perfect for our weekend away.

    Victoria2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's place wasn't as described, it was much nicer. Me and my partner were able to check-in early and checkout late, whilst communication was quick and efficient between us at all times. Upon arrival Susan greeted us both outside, directing us to the parking spaces, and giving us a brief overview of the place. The heating had been turned on prior to our arrival as it was a cold winter's day. The place was spotless, with a lot of nice extra touches, and milk, bread and other various snacks were in the fridge which saved us getting these bits. I definitely recommend staying here, especially as the local scenery is so wonderful.

    Andrew2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The barn is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is perfect and you've gone above and beyond the job or a perfect host. It is LUSH to chill in and enjoy our time here. Thank you for the beautiful Christmas card, fresh fruit and milk and food. You are wonderful x

    Melanie2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and Susan was a fantastic host. The barn is cozy and well-stocked with teas, breakfast goods etc., nice and quiet at night but a short drive into Great Malvern or Ledbury. Highly recommended.

The property is set alone in a large garden, with private access and dedicated parking space, there is also wheelchair access. Defford is ideally located, with easy access to Malvern, Worcester, Cheltenham, Ross on Wye, Upton on Severn and Stratford upon Avon. There are decent local amenities such as Local Farm Shop, Local Pubs, ( with excellent food ) and only 3 miles from Pershore, where there are more shops and amenities. The property is well furnished with modern decor.
You won't really see any of our neighbours, except when we leave a key with them.
  • Lovely stay! Great hosts and a very clean and well- equipped place to stay! Ideal location for visiting surrounding areas and absolutely beautiful place to be! Only slight improvement could be that the heating didn’t work during the day and we had to wait to shower in the evening once because the water was cold when we woke up after having a lie-in. So at times we were a bit cold. An amazing stay though and our host couldn’t be more helpful in going the extra mile in helping us locate the place and enabling us to have a great trip! Thank you.

  • A lovely quiet countryside retreat

    Charlotte2019-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • My husband, 1 year old and I, had a lovely 2 nights stay here whilst visiting the Malvern hills - we only wish we could of stayed longer! A modern and stylish annex that is actually larger than expected. Great size kitchen area with everything you could need for self catering. Everything very clean. Very comfortable bed. Stan was a great host and showed us around when we arrived. Slight road noise but this didn't affect our sleeping. We thoroughly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again if visiting the area in future.

    Vicky2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a lovely place to stay. Country side will leave you mesmerized. Stan is a great host and his wife cooks great Indian food especially Nan Bread. Place is sparkling clean and very beautiful. we couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks guys for having us.

This can function for either a family break or a romantic hide away. Additionally it is even more spacious than the photos show. The check in process was smooth and the hosts were at hand to deal with any queries very promptly . We would definitely re visit this accommodation next time we are planning a get away.

  • We had a truly wonderful and relaxing stay at Fleet Cottage. Jackie was such a lovely host, was responsive pre our arrival and full of advice re the local area. The cottage was spacious, yet cosy, with lots of nice touches, such as home baked flap jacks in the kitchen when we arrived. It’s set in a beautiful location- rolling countryside, it was a shame that it was a little too cold to use the garden or balcony. Would love to return in the Spring/Summer.

The Cabin is in the heart of the town of Malvern, a short walk from the town centre, yet  minutes away from the majestic hills. In a quiet part of the town, The Cabin sits in a  private and secluded area at the end of the owners garden, with it's own entrance and outside seating area. The Cabin has a 'super-king 'bed, but can be converted to twin beds on request. We welcome well behaved dogs, two small or one medium size, but ask that dogs are not left alone in The Cabin.
In a quiet backwater of Malvern, The Cabin is in a private and secluded area at the end of our garden, with it's own entrance and a small outside seating area/patio. It was built in 2018 to our own specifications, and comprises a main room, plus a mini-kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen includes a small table-top oven, microwave, toaster, mini- fridge, kettle and all cooking utensils. The bathroom has shower, wash basin and toilet. All bedding and towels are provided. It can be hired as a super-king bed, or two twin beds, just let us know when booking. Access is by a side entrance, with four steps up to the cabin up a gravelled, well lit pathway. Suitable for one or two people, The Cabin also welcomes two small or one medium size dog. No large dogs please. We would ask that dogs are not left alone in The Cabin. There are excellent dog walks just five minutes walk away from The Cabin. We have two small ones of our own and walk them there twice a day. The town centre, theatre, shops, cinema, Priory and railway station are just 10 minutes walk from The Cabin. We are 20 minutes drive from the cathedral city of Worcester, with it's world famous cricket ground (let us know if you are cricket fans) and 30 minutes away from Worcester Warriors Sixways Stadium (let us know if you are rugby fans!) We are 40 minutes away from Hereford, Gloucester and Cheltenham, including the Race-course. It's just 10 minutes drive to the Three Counties Show Ground and  only 20 minutes from the M5 and M50 motorways. By rail we are 2 1/2 hours from London and an hour from Birmingham. Whilst we cannot offer a taxi service, we are happy to offer lifts where possible. We have taken several of our guests onto the hills, and they walked back (they did ask us to!) The area is steeped in history. Sir Edward Elgar's BIrthplace is 20 minutes away, the world-famous Morgan Motor Factory just 10 minutes away, and Upton Upon Severn with it's blues, jazz and folk festivals is only 20 minutes from us. There are plentiful restaurants, take-aways and cafe's in Malvern, some of which we are happy to recommend. We are regular users of airbnb ourselves so think we know what our guests will be looking for. Please feel free to ask for more details.
We are in a very quiet part of the town with fields at the end of our road, ideal for dog walking, jogging etc. We have two Jack Russell dogs who are very friendly.
  • We stayed the weekend of a storm. Whilst it would of been nice to go on walking in the hills, we really enjoyed spending a lazy day on the cabin, watching Netflix and using the smart tv to catch up on programmes. It is so warm and cozy when you put the heater on and you have complete privacy. I felt instantly relaxed there. We went for a fantastic meal at the Mulberry Tree, which is nearby. Overall a great stay, 100% recommended! We are planning a return trip.

    Kerry2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was cosy, romantic and surprisingly private to say it it at the end of Amanda’s garden. The location was great as we were in walking distance of the village and the access to Malvern Hills walking routes. Great price for the accommodation too. We would definitely recommend this place and return ourselves xx

    Georgi2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • I have just spent four fantastic nights at the Cabin and was very sad to leave this morning. Mandi and Dave were the perfect hosts, very welcoming and genuinely friendly to the point that I looked forward to seeing them every day as I came and went on my travels. I loved my time walking the hills and exploring Great Malvern but equally enjoying returning to the Cabin each afternoon to relax and put my feet up. Cosy and warm, even in January, and a smart TV is always a bonus. Dave was even kind enough to drop me off at one end of the hills so I wasn't stuck walking nearby circulars. I hope to return one day and definitely won't be staying anywhere else, thanks again for everything!

    Andrew2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Cabin at Malvern is the perfect weekend getaway spot. We thought the cabin was charming, cosy and well-equipped. We loved staying here and hope to come back! It is perfectly situated and the thoughtful touches (such as the provision of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk) were appreciated! We will recommend this place to all our friends. Thanks so much!

    Sally2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderfully equipped and comfortable accommodation. The iron & ironing board came in useful as we were attending a wedding. The cabin was warm and homely with plenty of privacy. Shower was warm and strong enough. Faultless hosting and very tolerant and understanding when we had a concern with our dog. Don't hesitate to book!

  • This little chalet is the perfect place to be your base to go and explore the malvern Hills. It's deceptively spacious, with a kitchenette stocked with everything you could need, and a cosy bedroom. The log burner made our early spring stay toasty and my daughter loved having a fire. The chalet is lovely and clean, bathroom immaculate and would highly recommend. We were also provided with lovely eggs from the hosts happy hens, it's them little touches that make a stay perfect for me.

  • Chris's place is lovely, everything you could need for a short stay. We had our two dogs with us and having the fenced garden next door was ideal. Very well equipped, large comfortable bed and stylish modern bathroom. Worth mentioning there is no door to stop dogs coming up to the bedroom though! Would definitely stay again when we're visiting family in the area.

    Francesca2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! Lovely place with everything you need. Nice pubs and dog walks close by.

    Meghann2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had christmas at the little chalet in the malvern hills .. the chalet is next to myrtle cottage ..on christmas morning we found a red christmas stocking on our door with a bottle of orange mulled wine . Dog biscuits for our little snowy and a box of chocolates .. what a lovely surprise for us to find christmas morning .. it can take a few minutes longer for hot water. However I did not find it a problem.. the kitchen was very equipped. There was logs for us to light the fire ..the heating was on too but the log burner and christmas just made it extra cozy. The hens running around the garden was entertaining for our dog Haha.. the owners of the property are next door in myrtle cottage . They just check to see if you need anything and then they leave you alone .. I loved it there

The pub next door very welcoming and dog friendly . Enjoyed local walks, lots of walk choices. The seasonal touches were very much appricated. Yum yum!

  • Our 2nd stay here, which shows you how much we love it!

    Julie2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was immaculate and had all the creature comforts we needed to relax, and even spend some time hunkering down from the fold and the rain. It's a lovely quiet spot, but close to the awesome Swan Inn which is a cosy and welcoming pub serving great food. The host was super friendly and helpful and was exceptional at getting any little niggles we had sorted out straight away, we were able to cook there with farm fresh food easily, and it's also close to Malvern and other little towns that were worth visiting. Its easily a summer or winter location, and my daughter loved feeding the ducks at the pond over the road when we went on our late afternoon walks around the area. Just the ticket for a break from London!

    Sarah2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Oak Apple was a perfect venue for our 3-day stay. It was perfectly located for the 'Malvern Show' on the Saturday, and a great Sunday roast at The Swan next door! Very interesting information provided, great village with lots of local walks. Will certainly book again. We would highly recommend this little gem.

    Sue2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a hidden gem and in a perfect spot for a great break, regardless of length of time away. Everything has been thought about here, from shampoo, conditioner and body wash, super soft towels, luxurious bed linen, comfy bed - need I say more? To be able to sit out in the little courtyard capturing the last of the sun's ray's and then picking tomatoes from the hanging basket was just delightful. Thank you Pauline. It was a restorative trip to your beautiful home.

    Julie2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • 5 stars is not enough for this lovely little place. Everything about our stay was great ....from all the thoughtful attention to detail to the effort that has clearly gone in to make this a home from home for guests. It was amazingly clean and ultra modern and we loved our strawberries!!! Pauline and family were attentive and helpful and on hand to give us all the help and tips we needed but also gave us total privacy. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you. Xx
