We were made welcome from the moment we reached the front gate, with a chalk-board sign which put a smile on our faces. Everything was easy and comfortable; the facilities were exemplary, above standard, and everything worked. Akane and Mitsu checked with us daily incase we needed anything. Laminated instruction sheets were helpful, even too detailed... We would stay here again.

We were greeted at the gate with a sign reading "Welcome Ness!" and immediately knew this was a good one. A little walk through a garden path and then into the fantastic and cozy house. Out of the places we stayed in Japan, this felt the most traditional, authentic, and comfortable. A wonderful Kotatsu, full kitchen (minus oven), and a full size shower. The space was perfect for the three of us but i can imagine 6 fitting perfectly to utilize more room. We all fit in a warm and cozy room upstairs and slept marvelously. Akane and Mitsu were perfect hosts. They greeted us with fruit and a restaurant recommendation that ended up being our favorite meal in Japan (Ajikyu restaurant web: (URL HIDDEN) ). They even made us breakfast in the morning consisting of grilled rice cakes and miso soup that was more like a rich and rustic chicken soup. What more can I say? Wonderful people and kind souls hosting a beautiful space in a more local and traditional area of Tokyo!

We had a nice time staying at the Old Folk Home. The rental is very spacious, and has everything you could need for a short or long stay. The hosts were very kind and accommodating! There is a welcome packet that is very helpful, and answers any questions you might have. The rental is in a nice neighborhood, and everyone we met was very friendly.

Wonderful traditional duplex house with a cute garden. Living room, bathroom and kitchen downstairs, tatami style bedroom upstairs and comfy beddings. Quiet spacious. Host is very easy to work with and welcoming. He provided detailed guidance to the place and made the process easy.

Well surroundings and thoughtful host, I stayed here for 2 nights, the great impression is that the documents for how to get the old house are much more detailed, and the bedding made me more comfortable so that I did not want to get up! We had an absolutely wonderful stay here and wouldn't have done our week in Tokyo any differently! Staying in Kotu gives you a little glimpse into what it would be like to live in a Tokyo suburb and commute into the city, and Kotu itself is very charming. The guest house has everything you need and is incredibly comfortable. Akanene is an amazing host and gave us wonderful recommendations and even offered to drive us to the local subway station during our check out because it was raining. Overall I highly recommend staying here - the location is wonderful, the home is beautiful, and it's a perfectly unique experience that will leave you feeling very inspired!

Our stay in the house Akane and Mitsu was great in all points! The location (20 minutes from super center) the place, the house is tastefully decorated and is very cozy and then the reception, guests were pampered and spoiled us. I warmly recommend this property. Finally to stay in Tokyo is expensive and small, we were family and the house was perfect for this for a very reasonable price. In short we are delighted! I highly reccomend this stay in Tokyo. I felt so welcomed to the city after meeting Akane and Mitsu who are such kind people. There is a reason why they have been voted super hosts. The house provides a great base to explore Tokyo. There is such attention to detail from a heated toilet seat to floor heating under tables. A beautiful experience of japanese style living.

This place was absolutely perfect for our first few days in Tokyo! Four of us stayed here and it was clean and comfortable, pretty small but all you need! Close to good food and marts and super easy to walk to the train! It's a bit out of town so lots of transferring but allowed us to see a lot of tokyo!

AMAZING AMAZING APARTMENT!!! We found the place quite easily it's close to the station and close to a grocery store and random shops. The apartment...was...just incredible...really beautifully done! We were so happy to come to this apartment after a very average stay in Kyoto. The price almost felt too low for how great it was! The stove was great...the tv was great...the shower was great! We are both 6'0 tall and it was nice to not have to bend down to shower! The Kawano's were so lovely and friendly. They came to greet us the first night we got there and we got invited out for drinks a few times too. We had someone come and clean the apartment daily and give us fresh towels which we didn't get in (URL HIDDEN) just felt like so much care was put into our stay. There is not 1 bad thing I could possibly say...honestly we have already recommended this apartment to some family and friends and felt so fortunate to be able to stay there :) Thank you so much for making our stay so incredible!!

We had a great stay at Kawano'S Family House!! The room is clean, warm and comfortable, very happy living here. Hosts are very kindly and helpful. Koji San & Nami San so friendly, let us feels like staying at home.

For some reason, my first feedback disappeared! We love the Zen house, it js near to train station, newly furnished and we have the best host ever who takes care of the house so well, they clean the house everyday for us! The Kawanos are cute and friendly and made us feel so welcome, they brought apple juice for us and check on us when it was raining. The neighbourhood is fantastic, we have supermarket and restaurants which open till 12/1pm, and a 24 hour restaurant nearby (Jonathan's). I would recommend my friend to stay with the Kawano if they go to Tokyo. Missing Tokyo after a week already!

Two thumbs up! My boyfriend and I loved this find. It's tucked away in a quaint little neighbourhood with good character and friendly people all around. The train station is within a few minutes walk so it is easy to travel around. The apartment itself had everything we needed. We were only two but it would also be great for a small family to stay. Thanks for having us and hope to be back one day soon!

We were a family with 2 large teenage children who visited Cedar Apt. Over Christmas in 2016. The apartment is great for Tokyo relationship, simply but comfortably furnished in Japanese IKEA style with pretty much everything you need, and is located very near shopping and the station with good rail connections to everything in Tokyo. Remember to bring your slippers when you do not have his ordinary shoes on indoors in homes in Japan. K-Family has 3 apartments in the property (Zen House) and are good through extracurricular hosts that correspond immediately to all questions.

Three nights in Tokyo for a long time to pick a final decision on this stay. First apartment is very beautiful and clean, wooden decoration for our first feeling is comfortable, there is a feeling of home, kitchen equipment is very complete, you can cook yourself, but we did not take advantage of the time in a hurry. Although the apartment is not in Tokyo's bustling area, but very close from the subway station, traffic is very convenient, it does not affect travel. Nearby apartment there is a business area, convenience store, and a lot of things to eat. It is worth mentioning that, to catch a flight the last day, I do not care to buy souvenirs Tokyo, landed a cup host family, and also in Tokyo was just a friend to travel, after the landlord and communication, apart from anything else to help me send the cup then take home to friends. Cup itself is in quite worthless meaning me, I'm really touched. I hope next time have the opportunity to go to Tokyo'll stay here, thanks in person!

special thanks to Koji for this wonderful place to stay, the room is cozy just the right size for two. The place is really convenient, short distance to the station, lots selection of restaurant and bars open late to hang. The host also provided a portable wifi which is a big plus!!!! they are very kind to let me dropped off my luggage on my last day til the time i take off to Narita airport. I had a good time staying here and would recommend my friends for their future visit.

1. My Stay: I stayed for a few days in the Pine House for Tokyo Marathon 2014. 2. Exceptional Hosts: During the first day Koji even helped me in getting a discount for one of the attractions in Tokyo, which me and my friend really enjoyed. They also did my laundry! 3. Great Amenities: For one day I stayed off the house and in a city hotel near the Tokyo Marathon starting point, turns out I really didn't need to move to another hotel and the heating in that hotel wasn't good, Pine house had better heating. Also, the toilet in Pine house was waaaaaaay better! The free MIFI device is also an added bonus! 4. Awesome location: Although I didn't go on the local tour by Mr. T, I did some exploring on the Tateishi suburb on my own, and you can find almost everything within a short walk away from the location. Access to/from Narita and Haneda are also good (direct trains passing through the nearby station). The location had a great jogging track along the river which was very helpful in my acclimatization for the cold race. Will definitely explore booking the place again if I ever return to Tokyo. My stay at Zen House - Pine Room was very pleasant. Like many of those who had the pleasure to stay with Koji, Nami and Mr. T, I felt very well taken care of since the day I arrived. Directions for everything were thorough and easy to follow, especially for the ride in from the airport (particularly important for a first time traveller in Japan). The unit was as described on airbnb, which was clean, spotless and spacious. It was obvious that the owners cared for the unit. Koji was flexible and generous given my early arrival and late departure schedules. I was first worried that the location of the unit would be too far from the central busy area, but I'd have to say Katsushika is a very tasteful and humble area. I am really glad I stayed away from the hustle bustle spots, while still be very accessible to it. Train station was a quick 2 minute walk. Portable wifi was provided, and was a travelling essential. I could not have survived without it! I wish I had gotten to know Koji, Nami and Mr. T over a meal or beer, but my schedule was quite packed as I was only here for 3 days. I will definitely visit and check-in at one of their units again in the near future.

The one tree house was a perfect place in a not touristy local neigbourhood. We enjoyed our stay there and recommend it to anyone.

I can not praise my experience at this house enough. The house is well designed in a classic Japanese style and is very homely. Beds available were very comfortable and heating options were ample. The local train station allowed easy access to locations around Tokyo with only one or two transfers, and was very accessible from the airport. What really shines about this place is that you really do feel immersed in an authentic Japanese setting. The Tateishi area is devoid of other foreigners, so much so that when we arrived at the station, we were directed by a friendly stranger who only had to ask if we were looking for the airbnb house. The local streets have plenty of food and japanese bar (izakaya) options, with the most amazing ramen I've ever had. The hosts were very down to earth and Koji threw back some of the most pristine banter our group has witnessed. Koji was exceptionally helpful with finding fantastic things to do in the area as well as in the central town. Koji was happy to drive our group to the local onsen (of his recommendation) which was incredibly relaxing and immersive. Thank you Koji, Nami and Mr T for this unforgettable experience.

Mr. T is a nice landlord. Every morning will send us a clean towel. Every day there will be someone to clean our house. The house is an independent one. Have their own private space. The landlord the next day early in the morning to give us the number 1 apple juice, let us feel very hearty. Although the house is far from the city center, it does not matter. Wonderful home in a very central but quiet location. Great base from which to explore Tokyo. Very responsive hosts would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is travelling in a larger group.

As a family with four kids this house was perfect for 6 people for one week, but would be great for longer stays as well. It was very quite and safe but still close to everything. Two full bathrooms and four separate bedrooms (including one on the ground floor that could have futons on tatami mats which we did not use). There are two bedrooms on the second floor and the master is nicely separated on the forth. The master has a walk in closet and full bath. Each room has its own A/C with remote control which is necessary in the summer heat and comfortable western style beds and furniture in three of them. It is in an area that has many embassies and nice restaurants, and is walking distance to the main roads for buses and trains. There are grocery stores and 24 hour convenience stores near by as well. You can walk to Roppongi. The house itself is a modern architectural marvel with floating staircases, high ceilings, skylights, floor to ceiling doors, bridges, and a four story light filled atrium to name a few of the impressive features. The host is an expat so he understood the sort of things that we would want as Canadians like Early Grey tea, hot coco, Love Crunch granola, strawberry KitKats, bread for toast, milk, eggs, butter, yogurt, fruit, beer, etc. There were plenty of towels, etc. It was my third trip to Japan and it was a different experience to get out of staying in a hotel and live in a residential area like a local and less of a tourist. Lots of room for everyone to spread out.

It is a stunning spacious apartment in the middle of one of the main areas of Tokyo, and the neighborhood is foreigner friendly, and this is the perfect place to stay if you enjoy Japan keeping your own lifestyle comfort. The host will provide you enough information to get around, and is very flexible to meet your requests. What you see on the pictures are REALLY real :-)

Richard's house was truly amazing. A beautiful space with all the comforts of home. Great and very peaceful location, but still close to the train and amenities. Would highly recommend for a family or large group like ours, no better value in Tokyo. Would definitely return, thanks for having us!

Beautiful house in a fantastic location a short walk to the underground station then only a few stops to main sightseeing destinations. Richard made us very welcome leaving us some food to start and then checking in to see if there was any help he could give us negotiation our way around Tokyo. Highly recommended my only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Mika is a rare thoughtful landlord, she spent a long distance phone charges just hope we can reach peace. We later learned that first Disney would later point checkin, she is still around 22:00 send text messages to us, to see whether we have to find parking spaces, whether to find shelter. Trip to Tokyo are very fortunate to be able to live in the house ~ Mika room with photos, like, super comfortable bed very good sleep! Rooms are great - I told my sister could not bear to go! Tawaramachi from the subway station is very close, about 5 foot minutes only. Nearby there are convenience stores and Ray doors at night to eat something not want trouble ~ ~ ~ and Mika were very nice ~~ got a question she can respond quickly, really great !! still want to live next to this ~ ~

It was good place to stay for people who want visit Disneyland. There are three busses you can take to visit Disneyland. And the bus stops are quite close. If you come by car, there are also many coin parkings and the price is quite reasonable(I paid 500yen for 24H). The size of house is a bit small,but it is enough for a couple to stay. And neighborhood is very quiet with convenience store 3-4mins away.

It was definitely worth staying at his place. I was there for a business trip and it was the best option in terms of location and price.

I stayed at Ken's place for the second time, which speaks for itself. He is a great host!

Ken is a very nice host who gives detailed instructions on getting to his place and traveling to Disneyland. Because of that, we didn't have troubles finding our way around. He's very attentitive and checks up on you every once in awhile if everything is okay. The location is in a nice peaceful neighborhood (fair bit of a walk from the station but doable). The room itself was like the picture, however the cleanliness of the place was a bit of a concern for me. There was all kinds of hair on various things like the towels, pillows, bathroom, etc. Also, there was a couple of stains here and there like on the bed. It is nice however that he leaves food for us in the fridge to eat, and has all the amenities needed for the night. Thanks for having us!

A great, cozy place close to convenience stores and public transport! I walked there from Urayasu station around midnight and there were still plenty of people about. Ken is a kind host concerned with the guest's wellbeing -- he checks to see that you have reached the apartment safely. I came for a concert at Makuhari Messe so recommend the apartment for people visiting there or Disneyland!

Shun and his wife are very friendly. They respond my message quickly to help us locate the house and where to park my car with cheap price. The location is great, close to restaurants, Disneyland, and subway station. Only took us 15 minutes to drive to Disneyland. The house is clean and cozy for a couple. Good to stay again.:D

We had such a fun time here! It only took us 15 minutes to Disney Land by bus so it saved us a lot of time traveling. Plus, there is pretty much anything you need around Urayasu; we especially loved the 2 big supermarkets nearby. Yasuko, Lily and Shun's place was very neat, clean and cozy! We would definitely stay here again if we come back for Disney Sea next time :)

We were allowed to use when I went to Disney. I came to pick with a smile to the nearest station in spite of arriving at the station in late time. A short walk from Urayasu Station, the room was also able to spend very clean and comfortable. In addition, we want to use is when you come close!

Good area if you go to Disneyland! 30 minutes if you go by bus. Very close to the metro. It is on the 4th floor and no elevator. Instead it is small but very clean and nice!

Bus stop to the TDS is closer than imagined. Next to the gust was good to be close. The room is there is a range and a kettle, was saved.

This place has everything you need. I also love the location. There are many restaurants you can choose from. It's also nearby supermarkets, bus and train station. The town is not too crowded which I like. Please keep in mind that they don't have an elevator. Our room is on the 4th floor which is the only drawback but value, location, and good care from the host definitely worth your visit.

Very comfortable place. It was good for only one female, and people for two. Good location from station by walking. There were many kind of restaurants and some supermarkets. And easy to get to the Disney resort. Inside the room, very clean, wide futon, some good machines even iron! And there were some amenities especially for ladies. Moreover, the host was very kind and had good communications. I recommend this room for you if you visit to Urayasu, Chiba. You will be able to stay comfortable and safety :)

ディズニーランドから近くてとても助かりました。お部屋は広く、綺麗にお掃除されていて大変快適でした。Aiさんはディズニーランドの上手な利用の仕方や近くのお店の案内などとても親切で細やかな配慮をしてくださいます。面白かったのは、ドレスが置いてあったことや無料のお酒やカップラーメン、お菓子などのアメニティーが充実していたことです。目の前は浦安駅行きのバス停があり、都内へのアクセスもとても良かったです。また機会があれば是非利用したいと思います。

We enjoyed our stay. Hikari was a great host and responded quickly to our questions. She provided detailed instructions for directions to the location as well as instructions for how to use the appliances. The apartment is small but cozy, my one-year-old daughter loved the Disney decorations and was super excited to see all the cute stuffed animals all over.

As accommodation of TDS, it was used in the four families. The room was clean and comfortable. Amenities is I was allowed to use a toothbrush, shaving, towels, soap, shampoo, rinse, coffee, and sweets. Despite was late at night in the host's, will be kind, thank you. It is the high hotel when it comes to four a room bed, it is only if enough sleep. In addition, I want to use if there is an opportunity.

The room is really wide! I went to three with my friends, but even if I opened the carrier wide, I could get a seat! The bus stop is also right in front of you so it was very convenient when you moved to Disneyland and the station.

This place was great, very close to the bus station which can easily transport you to Tokyo Disneyland which was the reason for our stay. It is very clean and has everything you could need and communication with the host is very easy. I would stay here again if I were coming to Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea!

If it is staying after Disney it takes about 10 minutes from the bus stop of Maihama station and arrives soon after crossing the pedestrian crossing from the bus stop.

在这里住了2天 很喜欢!房东太太很热情,中文交流没有任何障碍!我们的房间很温馨,到处都是迪士尼元素,孩子很喜欢还与房东太太的儿子玩了好一会儿陀螺。家里的用品十分齐全,住在这里很舒适,周边超市、药妆店、饭店也有,购物餐饮很方便,我会推荐给我要来东京迪士尼游玩的朋友!如果下次来东京,我还会住这里。

Upon entering I was surprised by how clean and new the place looked. The rooms were spacious for a Tokyo apartment. The location itself is in a nice, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the Urayasu metro station. Masayoshi was a very patient host. We delayed our checkin time multiple times, but he still met us at the station to show us to the house. There was only one problem: there were plenty of plates and cookware, but no forks, spoons, or chopsticks. Hopefully this will be fixed soon though!

Value for money, closed to Disneyland park.

Great location, easy to get to everything we wanted to see by foot. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Masayoshi is a polite and hospitable guy. He waited for us in the raining night, a bit late already. Really thanks. The apt is cozy and well equipped. Very convenient to take a bus or train

We stayed at Masayoshi's place for the Summer Sonic music festival in Chiba. The apartment was clean, really easy to get to from the station, and Masayoshi went out of his way to accept our earlier check in time. We had a very comfortable stay here.

It is a very convenient environment in a room where cleanliness is perfect in a quiet location. Amenities such as towels and toothbrushes were prepared in large numbers. .

The place is very nice and big, The location was in a great place it is literally a two minute walk to the train station there are many restaurants and little places to eat at. I would definitely stay here again

Very close from Urayasu Station. Until the Disneyland ride soyodoem Bath 30-40 minutes was quite a convenience store and drug store is very convenient in the short distance, inside the hostel is very clean, although the bathroom is one big family because the advantage when haeteum little uncomfortable (one toilet, one shower with a very small bathroom, washroom 1), but equipped with kitchen with electric stove, electric stove, no pot is inconvenient sound. However, most yeotseum satisfactory accommodation.

This was my first ever Air BnB experience. Marie's place was everything as advertised and more. The spacious apartment was more than enough room for my family of 4 which included my preteen daughter and toddler son. The instructions on how to access the apartment, train, and Disneyland was so spot on that I was very comfortable after the first day navigating through the area. I arrived earlier in the day and Marie allowed me to drop my luggage to the apartment so that I didn't have to roll them around while waiting for the 4pm check in time. A major plus is all the convienent grocery stores and eateries within a block radius of the apartment. Starbucks, McDonald's and KFC are just across the street. And there is a great grocery store at the bottom floor of a department store that pretty much has any snack, hot food, and beverage you could want. There is also a Gold's Gym near by that has a great facility. The overall look and condition of the apartment was great. It was so convenient to have a kitchen and washer during our stay. The 3rd day of my stay the power went out and not 5:30am. I am not sure whether it was an issue with the building but Marie and the Zen team were quick to respond and offer their help. I highly recommend this place for friends traveling in groups or for families. I look foward to booking with Marie again in the future. :)
