The house is located in a calm environment, within walking distance from the beach, where we could enjoy the sun and the water. The kitchen is well equipped and the place has all the facilities needed for a relaxing holiday. John was a great host, very flexible and helpful. Super fint hus med alt hvad man har brug for og lidt til. Gåafstand til fin strand og kort kørselsafstand til både hyggelige Marielyst og lidt større Nykøbing, minigolf og andet underholdning og natur i nærområdet! God og nem kommunikation vedr. spørgsmål før ankomst, samt ved indtjekning og afrejse - kan varmt anbefales.

Jan was a great host. Good, clear communication and responsive. The house was nice and clean, and otherwise as the pictures. It was shielded by shrubs and trees from the surrounding houses, so it felt private. There was an Aldi within walking distance from the house and by bike or car it was fairly close to Marielyst city or the beach. There were some problems with the lighthouse when we arrived late at night, so there was something cool. We wrote to Jan, and already the morning after, a pipe fitter and got it sorted. Jan gave us even an extra night 'the trouble'. We were very pleased with the stay, and will definitely rent the house again, almost time we must cottage.

Faboulus, nice, "hygge" and comfortable cottage. Only a few hundred meters from the beach. Big garden, where nobody can look in, for activity. Everything was better expected. Tolles gemütliches Sommerhaus, fußläufig zum ebenso tollen Strand. Gehobene Ausstattung, z.b Klimaanlage etc. Die Hecke schützt den ganzen, großen Garten, was zusätzlich für Ruhe sorgt und zur Entspannung einlädt. Sehr zu empfehlen alles und zusätzlich noch sehr hilfsbereite und systematische Vermieter, die sowohl dänisch, englisch als auch deutsch können.

Great cottage with great, big garden and located in a very nice area next to the beach. The cottage is fully equiped and very comfortable. The hosts are nice and flexibel. Highly recommended. Power costs extra.

Everything was as described. When we arrived the stove burnt and it was just warm cozy! Jens has all described sufficiently and was helpful in all matters.

Vi lejede sommerhuset til et par overnatninger med vores to børn og var meget tilfredse med både huset, indretningen og beliggenheden. Der var rent og pænt og vi følte os taget godt imod af Jens. Der var redt fint op og lagt håndklæder frem på sengen efter aftale. Alt i alt var sommerhuset hyggeligt og helt perfekt til vores lille miniferie og vores datter har allerede spurgt om vi ikke godt kan komme på sommerferie igen samme sted næste år!

Very nice and spacious cottage, and lovely area close to the water. Can definitely be recommended.

We went to Martin's place to work remotely on a piece of software. The place offered the perfect quietness required for this task, and it also offered a perfectly capable, quick internet connection. You can get to the center of Marielyst within a 30 minutes walk along the beach, which is very nice. The house itself is very well equipped, offers a nice Grill, multiple Bycicles, a huge kitchen, two Bathrooms, a big TV and three cozy bedrooms. On top, Martin was a very nice host and replied to our questions quickly and with much detail. Recommended!

We had some lovely days in a cottage in Marielyst. It was really nice and clean, everything worked impeccably, nice wifi, many tv channels, well equipped kitchen, lovely kitchen / family room / living room with wood burning stove. The contact to the owner worked really well. We can easily think of renting the cottage another time.

The house was perfect for us. It is close to the beach and we can used bike with the child, close to the Venter of markets, Very quite and there is a big huge garden for playing with child. we have enjoyed our week end.

Everything was as described. We could use the owners bikes. Spacy and nice garden. Good communication with the owner. One point of criticism: a bit decluttering of the rooms and wardrobes would be nice, and it's a pity sheets and towels are not provided.

Very uncomplicated communication, great place to stay! A lot of space, nicely furnitured and a lovely beach nearby. The kids could play around the house, short way to the shop with the bicycles...perfectly happy!

Summer cottage for Rie and familenfeier was top notch. Two young children families from Norway was nice that everything was on one level and there was a large garden with plenty of space and a short journey to the beach - which was very nice! The center of Marielyst was not far away, either on foot or in a car. The cottage is located in a cottage area, but the garden is screened and must have no more contact with the outside world than you will ;-) Was toys both inside and out as it was allowed to borrow, including a climbing frame a bit inside the bushes and a akesklie as was well spent! We can certainly look for us to rent this cabin again.

We have had a really nice experience. Rie and family so sweet and hospitable and the cottage so delicious. Everything fine and super in order.

Great location near the sea. Rie's house really felt like home and the children loved the toys and garden equipment and got very excited when a deer visited the garden. Would recommend this as a great place to visit in Denmark.

Ries house is great. It lacked absolutely nothing. The garden was beautiful, the beach, located a stone's throw away, fantastic and it was altogether a lovely area.

We had a wonderful stay during the weekend! The contact with Rie was unbelievable pleasant and her service and flexibility definitely made us feel very welcome, like we were her guests instead of customers. The house itself has everything you need to feel home. The living room with the candles and the fireplace is really cozy and comfortable. With the beach within a few minute walk the house is perfectly located for nice walks. Besides that, shops and supermarkets are all within close distance. We definitely recommend this house and this host! If we visit Denmark again, we know here to go :-)

Only 4 stars because we missed an indoor swimming pool - it was raining all the time :) But it's a really nice house and garden perfect place for a family to get out of the city in peaceful surroundings. Having a spa and sauna made up for the bad weather. Marielyst where the nice beach with life guards is and with restaurants and other activities is too far away to walk (I think 5km) so you need a bike or car. The description said to bring our own bed sheets but nothing about pillows and duves/quilts/blankets so we brought these as well which appeared not to be necessary since all beds had these.

Peter's place is really awesome with everything you need to feel comfortable. The house is clean and very well kept and equipped. Even if it is a liitle bit far to Marielyst centre the situation is very good, close to the wonderful beach. Peter is a very friendly host who makes sure that every guest will feel comfortable in his lovely home.

Virkelig hyggeligt sommerhus. Velholdt, rummeligt med skønt stue/køkken og lækker terrasse! Der er alt hvad man har brug for. Huset er endnu bedre i virkeligheden end på billederne! God og hurtigt kommunikation med Peter! Hvis vi får muligheden, kommer vi helt sikkert igen!!

Vi nød nogle dejlige dage i sommerhuset som familie med hund. Det er et veludstyret hus med gode indendørs faciliteter. En dejlig have med godt ude legetøj. Huset fremstod pænt og rent. Gå afstand til dejlig badestrand. Er sommerhus, vi gerne vender tilbage til.

Det var skønt i dette sommerhus, hvor alt fungerede og omgivelserne dejlige.

Sehr gemütliches Ferienhaus mit drei großen Schlafzimmern. Schöne helle Wohnzimmer und Küche. Schöner großer Garten, der gut eingezäunt, so dass unsere Hunde nicht weg laufen. Viele Möglichkeiten für Kinder im Garten und Indoor-Aktivitäten wie Massage Bord. Und so ist nur 15 Minuten entfernt vom Strand zu Fuß. Wir haben sie sehr viel, trotz des trüben Wetters. Kann weiter empfohlen werden!

En skøn lille perle i dejlige omgivelser. Sommerhuset er dejligt og romantisk indrettet, så selvom den danske sommer er foranderlig føler man stadig at man er på ferie. En dejlig tur til marielyst på gåben langs diget er en dejlig tur for hele familien. Tak for denne gang, vi vil helt sikkert komme tilbage en anden gang.

Dejligt og hyggeligt sommerhus; veludrustet m.h.t. køkkengrej, senge og ude område. Rolige omgivelser med eget egern, dådyr og tæt på by og strand (kun få minutters gang fra stranden) Vi havde en fantastisk uge sammen i familiens skød, og håber at vi en anden gang, kan komme tilbage til denne "Perle". Rigtig god kontakt til både Jan og Vivi, som var meget hjælpsomme på alle måder.

Ein gemütliches Haus mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Lage ist toll! In nur 5 Minuten (zu Fuß) ist man am Strand. Sehr schön für einen Badeurlaub.

The residence is nice. Close to the water and good shops. Very good layout and nice with a loft where you can stand upright. In addition, good beds, parking and dishwasher. We rented home in January and was reeling Unfortunately much of an unstable guy, why the house often could not heated. George helped us quickly and we had regular contact with both George and responsibly from the hotel that faced the sack. We were also made alternative heating sources available. Moreover, there were during the stay trouble flush the toilet. This was also quickly tried to remedy, but the problem was not locally in the house: and it is our view that there will be taken care of it. None of the problems were therefore directly with the house and if they had not been there, we had given four or five stars. We could find to rent this property again.

It was a great pleasure to hire Steve's house! We had some really lovely winter days in the house and had gone some long trips in the beautiful surroundings. The house is located near the beach, at the supermarket and in the pedestrian area. I had a good and floating communication with Jorgen, who quickly answered back and helped us to clarify issues and recommended us places to go. It is highly recommended - also in these Kolder times!

Though we never met Jørgen, he kept very good contact with us and made us feel very comfortable at his well maintained summerhouse. He made it very easy for us to gain access, we had absolutely no problems!

Marc is a great host, very available by email or by phone. His summer house is absolutely very well located, (2' by walk from the beach and 5' from restaurants, shops...). The neighborhood is very quiet and pleasant. We had really enjoyed our stay.

Marc is an awesome person. Responding always within the shortest amount of time I´ve seen at airbnb. The house is exactly like it is shown in the pictures with the beach only 50 meters away; a small village maybe 200 meters. The landscape is lovely, the surroundings very calm and quiet. It´s perfect for a maybe 4 person vacation if you want to relax for a week. Great for bicycle tours or chilling at the beach. But as previously said: Don´t expect a lot of adventurous activities!

Marc was a great host, answering messages very quickly, and we had a very good time in his house. It is perfect for families with children who are looking for a holiday residence within walking distance from the beautiful beach in Marielyst.

We had rented the house in Pentecost. We were 4 adults and could be in the house without any problems. The house location in Marielyst is absolutely superb. Just a few minutes walk from the sea and 5 min to the 'center' with restaurants and shopping. The very reason is a medium-sized light traditional holiday home. However, please note that parking is not optimal if you have 'big cars'. In fact, there is only one parking space unless you want to keep the floor. The house itself is of older date. The decor is 'mixed' and really cottage-like - nice relaxed and not new / modern. The pictures fit well with the facts. The kitchen is small and older but there is everything to use. When we were there, the oven did not work, but I think the landlord should get fixed. The wifi is perfect. There is a small ball barbecue and a couple of outdoor games in the playhouse. The communication with the landlord was super and without problems.

Fantastisk hyggeligt sommerhus, med god plads, skøn have og en fantastisk strand et stenkast derfra. Byen ligger tilpas tæt på til indkøb, is, fiskebil i gåafstand. Meget nemt at være på ferie her. Marc var nem at kommunikere med og indcheckning var super nemt og fleksibelt. Huset har alt hvad du skal bruge af service, grill, opvaskemaskine, internet, liggestole, fjernsyn etc. - så al slags vejr kan klares:)

Frank was very detailed in providing accurate directions both on the way and on the details of the home. The spacious, bright house is equipped with every accessory and is in a very convenient location, just a few meters from the beach. Appreciate the wifi. It was nice to eat in the outside dehor.

It was a very pleasant and friendly communication with Frank, before and during our stay. The house is new, cozy and we have quickly settled. Frank has set extra toys for our son, so that he too quickly became home. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and listening to the sea rushing. The surrounding area invites you to long walks along the beach and the forest! We will definitely be back ...

Wow and amazing! The house is so cozy and "hygge"! We had a great time with five persons for nearly one week! There was also one bicycle from Frank and we rent four more only 900 m away at the friendly supermarket ;-) The girls were happy at the evening with Apple-TV and Netflix. But there are also a lot of playing cards and games. Thanks for the wonderfull time!

My boyfriend and I had booked Franks cottage for a new year's get-away. We had a nice weekend in the house, which has everything you need. Nice communication with Frank. Would definitely like to rent the house another time :-)

My son and I stayed for the second time at Franks sommerhouse, and we can only warmly recommend this accommodation:) it is perfectly situated very close to one of Denmarks best beaches, especially for smaller kids. The house is luxuriously decorated and we love staying there:)

Nice house with good location close to the water.

We felt despite the stormy weather, little cottage in the well. The rooms are nicely decorated with bright and welcoming. The furniture is simple, but adequate for the summer holidays, because here plays a lot outside. There are plenty of space to play and indoors and outdoors. It was a lot of material available, by which you could get to know the area. The bungalow settlement is quiet in May and the beach of Marielyst heavenly. Trips by bike are highly recommended and we fished also successful. All in all, a place to relax and feel good!

A clean and cozy little summer house equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay and even some toys for the kids to play with. Recommended for families with young children or small groups.

Lovely place with a cozy and homely atmosphere.

Highly anfefales. Marvelous Blockhaus mit Seele und Charme. Sehr geräumig, mit breiten Gängen und großen Räumen. Gemütliches Loft mit zusätzlichen Betten. In unmittelbare Nähe befand hinunter zu einem kleinen See, und nur 800 Meter zu dem Larsens Plads, mit hübschen Geschäften, Supermärkten, Cafés und Restaurants - und einem direkten Zugang zum schönen Strand. Elsa ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Reagieren Sie umgehend auf Nachrichten und Fragen. Das Haus war sehr sauber und ordentlich, wenn wir es übernehmen, und es fehlte nichts in Schubladen und Schränken. Alles in allem, wir (6 Erwachsene und 2 doggies) hatten eine wunderbare Woche in Elsas Hütte, und kommt sehr gerne wieder.

Ich verbrachten mit meiner Frau und unseren Kindern einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Elsa's gemütlichem Holzhaus, direkt am See gelegen. Elsa war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns offen und höflich in Empfang genommen. Auf Anfragen vor oder während des Aufenthaltes reagierte sie sofort. Das Haus ist sehr wohnlich und großzügig geschnitten. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Alles ist reichlich für einen unbeschwerten Aufenthalt vorhanden. Geschirr und Küchenutensilien, Sonnenliegen, Sitzmöglichkeiten, Bettdecken für jeden Bedarf....etc. Das Haus war sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage des Hauses ist toll. Ruhig und doch ist man relativ schnell am Strand oder in der Ortsmitte von Marielyst, mit einer guten Infrastruktur. Wir empfehlen das Haus wärmstens und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Danke Elsa, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Beautiful cottage, well proportioned and equipped. With the beach literally around the corner, it's perfect for a vacation with kids (they are already planning a return next summer :). Communication with Maria and the local caretaker was flawless too!

The house is beautifully located directly behind the dunes, looking into lots of green. We heard nothing but the wind. Close by is also a very good playground. We felt very welcome. Pernille even stocked the fridge with a few initial necessities - a very nice surprise! All in all much recommended.

If you want to stay in Falster in a basic but clean room, stay here! We had a pleasant stay here with a warm welcome. There was breakfast, coffee and tea, just what we needed and for a good price!

I unfortunately had to cancel because I had booked for the wrong location. Gert was however very nice about it.

The room was very cosy, contained everything you need for a stay and Gert himself is a very friendly, openminded host. We really appreciated the small breakfast bar and the fresh fruits from his garden! Also the house is only 7 min away from Nykøbing central bus and rail station. Thanks!

Gert's house is perfect for a stop over in nykobing. it is an easy walk from the train station and walk to the harbor. Gert is a great host with wonderful stories to tell over coffee or tea. we enjoyed it so much we stayed an additional might. Accommodations are cosy with a lovely garden as well.

I had a very nice stay at Gerts house. It is beautifully placed in a villa area - close to the city centre, train station and coast line. The room is calm, clean and spacious with a nice wire to the gardens around. Gert is also friendly and welcoming!

Gert's place was perfect for ya as we had a stop between Sweden and Germany. Just about 20 min detour from the main road. Quiet. Comfortable beds and a clean, big shared bathroom. Walking distance to city center.

We just stayed one night at Gerts house. The check-in and the communication was quite easy. The small kitchen with free muesli in the morning was perfekt and well equipped. We can recommend the host!

I stayed for 2 nights (2 stays actually) and I liked it both times. The place is central and very quiet and my room (the bigger one) had a very nice view of the garden and some town buildings. Gert let me dry my tent in his garden and even helped me to put it up to dry. He also gave me a lot of information about the area. Guests can make themselves breakfast in a small makeshift kitchen and he even provides the coffee, milk, cereals and yoghurt. So you are really independent.

Gert runs a colorful upstairs guesthouse with 3 rooms in a corridor + a practical self-service kitchenette with a good variety of yoghurts! Gert is a friendly and generous host with his accommodation at a good location for those arriving by train. Also a big supermarket and the city's pedestrian zone are not far away.

Quite big house. It's only a stone throw to the sea, you walk 5 minutes. The garden is very big, very good for children. You find in the house everything you need. We had a wonderful time in Tommy's house!

This house is big and wonderful. Nicely located at a short walk to the beach. The living room is really pretty with a nice garden view. I stayed here with my family and we enjoyed . The host Tommy was really kind and accomodating with check in and check out timings. definitely recommended!

A perfect summer holiday home where the whole family could breathe out and enjoy space, nature and sunny days. 150m from the water, beautiful scenery, wildlife and hares in the garden, terraces with sun at all times of the day, beds for guests, shopping and Marielyst within walking distance. Real summer holiday idyll! The house has the basic necessities, but is a real cottage, so just bring linen / towels and all the essential groceries. Tommy was extremely helpful, kind and flexible; Questions were answered promptly via both sms and tel. We had a wonderful and very relaxing holiday in Tommy's charming cottage, and highly recommend the place.

Hello Simon, we really enjoyed the stay. The house is spacious and bright. The whole device is to feel good. Living with cute cat ran without problems. Although the house is on a road, but here is little traffic and the beach is a 10 minute walk away. The contact was always good, everything worked also exemplary a late check-in was possible. Great stay in Simon's spacious peaceful home. Light, airy and excellent facilities. Nice to be able to play the grand piano, not everyone can fit one into their house. The wooden floor was a treat, I just around the house to enjoy the feeling and spaciousness. We loved the art work and posters on the wall. Panter the cat seemed easy to please. Surprised by seeing the Jersey cow neighbours. Loved the beach, the manor houses, red painted churches, the harbours and the sunsets. Fields of wheat and barley, clover and poppies cover the islands. We went to Roskilde to see the Viking ships, only an hour and a half easy drive. Near to the ferries for a short cut back to Germany. A great experience for our first visit to Denmark. Thanks Simon

Had the pleasure of renting in Simon's home for a weekend getaway with my girlfriend. Simon was a great host, being responding quickly and helpfully upon our request. He was really flexible with check in and check out, making our stay even easier and more relaxing. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and a throughout guide to the house was placed in the kitchen. Great location close to the beach but still very quiet and private. During the stay Simon was conveniently easy to access through SMS if necessary. Once again the response time was quick! Amazing value for money and a defiantly a five star deal! We'll be back some day.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Simon's house. Perfect place for a weekend getaway, with close proximity to the beach and cozy surroundings. The cat is very sweet and a good companion while watching movies in the evening . Would gladly visit again.

Simon's house is really nice and calm without any neighbours. It's lovely furnished and decorated so we felt right at home. We had some trouble with our car on arrival and Simon was most helpful and caring, answering our messages within minutes. The house was very tidy and clean and thanks to a detailed description in the kitchen we were able to find everything quickly. I would definitely come back next time I'm in southern Denmark.

Really recommended! We had a perfect weekend in Simon's house that is cozy, spacious and functionally equipped with everything you ku need, from board games to beach towels. The combination of wood stove, bathtub, grand piano, good kitchen and the sound of the sea when you open the garden door - it's so hard to beat. Ren medication dispelled city slickers like us.
