  • Absolutely amazing place! Just as described, and Lance was super outgoing and nice, can’t wait to come stay again!

    Scott2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Such a beautiful home. Lance was very nice, polite and flexible with any requests we had. Bukowski was adorable, friendly and a great addition to the experience. The house was very clean when we got there, we had no issues and really enjoyed the entire time during this stay. I recommend this spot as a good place to get away and relax with some of the best views.

    Matthew2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lance was really nice, comfortable to be around and very helpful for what to do around Portland and other things. He even made us coffee in the morning! The views were gorgeous, especially waking up for the sunrise. If you are looking for a place to stay with a good view, and you like cats, this is the place!!

    Andres2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the place. It was such an amazing view and close to everything. Lance was super cool and a fun host. Dont forget to leave him a few beers lol.

  • This stay was great! Views are amazing! The cat was very friendly. Lance was a great host. Rain shower was awesome!

  • Lance was such a great host, super helpful as well as easy to get along with. Bukowski did steal my heart<3 This by far, is my favorite place I have stayed. I'll dream about living the dream that Lance has for a long time...his taste is impeccable, especially if you are a sucker for MidCentury Modern decor. I didn't want to leave the treehouse oasis. Thanks for everything Lance!

This wonderful, private little gem is just a few easy walking blocks from plentiful drinking, dining, dispensing, yoga & coffee spots. You will be one block from Woodlawn Park, 2 blocks from a bus and a 5 minute drive from the Alberta Shopping and Arts District. It's all so comfortably close by, but not close enough to disturb your relaxing, sweet retreat. Come have it all while living small in this tiny, artsy home away from home!
This space was built as a Model T Garage in 1926 behind a 1915 bungalow but it has had a face lift and has taken on a new life as a cozy, warm freestanding studio made mostly from reclaimed materials. A "tiny house" if you will, sweetly positioned between fruit trees and a garden sitting area. The sleeping loft comfortably sleeps two and there is a futon below the loft where one can enjoy a book while the other naps above. Occasionally you will hear the trains in the distance which adds a touch of nostalgia and you get to wake to the relaxing clucking and cooing of the neighborhood hens as this area has a nice spattering of urban farms and lots of mature trees. The table pictured here has been replaced with a "garden shed" counter that houses a small, removable basin sink. There is also a rustic, rough hewn armoire to hang clothes and tuck away your backpacks. The little kitchenette corner is stocked with utensils, a two burner cooktop, a mini fridge, a microwave, coffee and a coffee press. The studio's setup is more akin to a cabin, and as many cabins go, there is no bathroom. You will be given a key to the main house so please feel comfortable enough to come in and use the facilities. By the way, it is insulated, well heated, and stocked with plenty of blankets so it is a wonderful, warm hideaway in the fall and winter months as well. Yep, snuggly wifi too. The yard is plentiful with flowers and fruit bearing trees (figs and delicious yellow plums) in the summertime, as well as an array of veggies in the gardens where you can sit amongst the trees and regroup after a hard day at Powells Books. If you intend to bring a pet (or two) please message me BEFORE booking to confirm details and the pet fee. It's within a 5 minute walk from the heart of Woodlawn which has some fantastic spots to shop, drink, dance, and dine: -Firehouse Restaurant, somewhat romantic with good service -Woodlawn Coffee House, for plenty of people watching -Breakside Brewery, to grab a bite and catch up on the game -Grand Army Tavern, have some pork with your...pork : ) -Good Neighbor Pizza, laid back & late night too -P's & Q's Market serves yummy meals and a few grocery items -The Village Ballroom, for Square Dance and Special events -Uptown Cycles, sales and repairs -Portland Girl, spa day anyone? -Greener Grasses, well-rated dispensary -Koken Market, for almost any beer you want, snacks -Café Eleven, art, coffee, lunch & some pastries -Oregon Public House, the nation's 1st nonprofit pub -The Highwater Mark, rock pub with pool & hip hop on last Fridays -Tamale Boy, authentic & delicious with lots of outside seating -Bassato Gelato, 12 rotating flavors+bagels in the morning -HighWheel Mead, open Thurs-Sunday -(Seasonally) Woodlawn Farmer's Market at Woodlawn Triangle, Sat. 10-2 Downtown is a 15 minute drive. The Alberta Arts District is also just minutes away so you can hop on a bike and be right in the middle of the jam-packed Last Thursday Art Walk or make a day of it with shopping, dinner and some delicious ice cream from the infamous Salt & Straw. Then come "home" to your quieter retreat where you can just relax and lay in the hammock.....ahhhh. And as the area is well surrounded by beautiful, mature trees, you may decide to enjoy dinner in the love seat swing under the pergola and watch the evening sky. It is a wonderful theatre for watching small bats do their sky routine in the distance. Flying in? This spot is only 10 minutes from the airport. And while in Portland, you may want some wheels! Well, this location is very close to Zipcars and you can sign up with them or Car2go on their sites in advance of your stay. Check out Turo or Getaround to grab a vehicle to tool But if you want to explore the city on two wheels, Everybody Bike Rentals or Ebikes ( electric bike rentals) are the spots to hit first (10 min. by bus). They provide helmets and locks too! ***If you don't see the dates available on the calendar that you had hoped for or if you are traveling with more than two people, please check out my other listing (#95313) which is also a private studio at the same location. It is larger and complete with a private entry and bathroom. Just ask me! Parking is close and the livin' is pretty easy. So please get that profile completed, then contact me and come kick up your heels and stay a while! Oh! P.S. Please read the description, house rules and post a pic of you in your profile beforehand just so that everyone is on the same page. Much appreciated. Cheers!
  • This space is lovely and was great for our short stay, as we were mostly out and about and spent very little time at the house. Just a heads up, it is literally a renovated shed, so the experience is slightly rustic. Nonetheless, great for a shorty trip and has all the basic necessities.

    Merrigan2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Andrée was accommodating in every way! Highly recommend, super convenient and close to lots of public transportation as well as adorable neighborhood!! We loved our time here and our tiny home!

With just the right amount of space for two, this studio has everything that makes a house feel like a home: a fireplace, a full kitchen, King Memory foam Bed, oak floors, handmade furniture, cable tv with HBO, and a private entrance.
This studio is a welcoming space in the center of an historic neighborhood that offers a unique perspective on the city of Portland. Ask me for in-depth info on where to go and what to see in the Irvington neighborhood, the Alberta Arts District, and other parts of Northeast Portland! Over the years, I’ve gotten to know quite a few incredible places to eat, drink, shop, and explore here. Located at the hub of some of Portland’s most interesting neighborhoods, this studio places the whole city at your fingertips. But adventure can be tiring, and the studio offers ample opportunity to put your feet up. Portland can get nippy at night, and a real wood fireplace, stocked with firewood from locally harvested and dried urban hardwood trees, is the perfect way to warm up and feel at home. The apartment has high ceilings and a great fireplace; it’s minimally decorated but has all the important things: a king bed, a couch with a coffee table, a small desk, a dresser and extra shelves, and a kitchen table. The kitchen comes fully stocked with the essentials for cooking a real meal, and the bathroom always has towels, soap and shampoo. The space is located on the first floor of a large 1910 home, which was converted to an eight-plex in the 1940s to adapt to the demands of WWII. I have lived in Irvington for 14 years and Portland for 25, and this house is one of the most unique that I’ve seen.
The Irvington neighborhood, now only a ten minute bike ride from downtown, was once a trolley-car suburb to the just-fully-developed West side. Designated a historic district by the National Register of Historic Places in 2010, Irvington is filled with early 20th century homes that have been preserved in their original states. Irvington has become a livable hub of Northeast Portland as a whole, with shops and restaurants of all kinds, within walking distance, surrounding the neighborhood. Irvington proper boasts more than a few community and culinary destinations of its own.
  • Great place to stay, very clean and comfortable. Amazing allocation and great response from Jason. Definitively recommended.

    Fernando2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice clean studio apartment on a quiet street in Northeast Portland. Downtown is easily accessible by public transport. Uber was only 11 dollars. Whole Foods is a 10 minute walk from here. The amenities in the home were stocked so that cooking a hot breakfast was easy. Again everything was clean and we definitely would stay again.

    Natalie2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This stylish, clean space is located in a very walkable and historic neighborhood. It’s close to shops and cafes. Easy parking. I appreciated the easy checkin. The space is very classy with a simple and open design plan. Loved the kitchen and tv space. Only stayed one night but it would be great for a longer stay. I would definitely stay again.

    Heather2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was in a great location in a very desirable neighborhood. I do want want to make a comment that I am sure that the host is already aware of. Just be prepared if you are a taller individual you may have some difficulty using the bathroom since the shower is very tiny along with the bathroom itself. Other than that, this was a very comfortable stay. Thank you again.

    Amy2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible place! Great location, phenomenal value, and whomever designed it has incredible taste. I hope I’ll get the chance to stay here the next time I’m in town and in the meantime, I’ll recommend friends there during their Portland trips. Don’t hesitate on this place, it is pure magic.

  • Hannah and Jason's place is such a cozy spot in Portland. It's in a great location, in a quiet neighborhood.

    Dro2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a must if you are staying in Portland. It is located very close to downtown and quite near public transport. The check in was simple and easy. The studio itself is very cute, large, and has all that you can need. I will be back next time I am in town, and recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Hannah and Jason!

  • Very clean! Easy check in & check out! Would recommend.

    Madison2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great host and nice accommodations. The bed was extremely comfortable with nice linen and the room had a desk for getting work done. Place was clean, quiet, and was within walking distance to cool stuff. Very thoughtful host too. I can't sleep without a fan and they were nice enough to leave one in the room for me when I asked about this. There was also a fridge and microwave in the room. Very much like a hotel. TV as well. I accidentally took the keys with me when I left and they were so nice about it! Many people will charge you, but the host was super cool and told me I could mail the keys back to him. The room also has its own temperature control, and it was quiet. I will definitely book with them again!

    Jennifer2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great little escape. Cool neighborhood. Located on busy MLK road. Single pane windows. Place itself was spotless and cozy. Restroom and shower shared with other residents. Felt super clean. Check in process smooth. Safe(ish) to walk around neighborhood at night.

Our stunning guest house has everything you need! Revel in the luxurious, lofted queen bedroom, where vaulted ceilings & large windows deliver floods of natural light. Cook a special meal over wine in the modern kitchen, or indulge in complimentary Stumptown coffee & organic cream! Walk 1 block to bustling Division St to restaurants, coffeeshops, foodcarts, & other urban adventures! Escape to the forests of Mt Tabor, just a 10-minute walk! Enjoy privacy- guesthouse is at the back of property :-)
The loft is located in our backyard in Southeast Portland. While we are only steps away if you need us, the space is very private. In fact, guests report that they forget they are in the middle of the city when they stay in our space! We live in a desirable and fun neighborhood, and parking can be tight! Guests usually find parking within a block or two of our house. At night or during busy times of the day, parking can be found within two short blocks. Guests may feel free to use our driveway for loading/unloading. We do not have a TV in the guesthouse, but offer excellent wifi access.
Our neighborhood has everything you will need, mostly within a five-minute walk! And if you want to visit a different part of the city, there is convenient public transportation around the corner. Check out excellent coffeeshops blocks away (Good Coffee and Stumptown), delicious and intimate restaurants (Bete Lukas, Tasty & Daughters, Petite Provence, Fern Kitchen), or walk up to Mt. Tabor Park. If you're into yoga, there's an awesome space (Yoga Union) around the corner.

5 miles from Airport. Approx. $15 Uber or Lyft ride! Virus cleaning precautions: read description to see what measures we are taking to create a healthy stay. Cozy bedroom with warm, lively colors. This house was featured in Portlandia's 2014 season in the hilarious "Rent-It-Out," sketch! Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Portland. We have a 5 y.o. and are in and out of the house from 8am-8pm. Quiet hours are 10pm-7am and are truly quiet.
Virus cleaning precautions: staying healthy is important to us and you are included in that! We are taking extra measures to sanitize all surfaces: doorknobs, light switches, faucet handles, anything hands would touch many times/day. Additionally and always, sanitized and fresh linens are stocked including a new duvet cover for every guest. Please take advantage of Airbnb’s more lenient cancellation policy if you are sick and need to cancel. Likewise, we promise to cancel reservations if we fall ill. Thank you for your attention and care while we all work to create a clean and healthy environment for all of us. I am pleased and excited to announce that this house has been graced by none other than Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein of Portlandia for a sketch entitled "Rent-It-Out!" More Portlandia photos coming soon... Private room with Queen size bed in my home near Alberta Arts district. Surrounded by gardens and artistic works, this home is a gallery and gathering space for special events such as concerts, yoga classes, art openings and other happenings. This is the Cully neighborhood with large, sprawling lots full of gardens and mature trees and walking distance to all of the art, food and music you desire on Portland's famous Alberta Street. Near major bus lines and MAX, this town is known for it's simple and efficient public transportation. Our neighborhood has it all though: art galleries, wine bars, sake house, sushi, Thai Food, African food, Ale houses, a plethora of restaurants, music venues, parks, shopping, art and food carts, tea houses, dessert spots, bike rental, bike paths, walking paths, unique local-made clothing/jewelry, vintage second-hand store, theatre, New Season's grocery store offering conscious, organic choices, and a couple of pizza pubs and food carts. The bedroom is spacious with about 180 sq. ft, a queen size bed, other sitting options, good light, bamboo floor, and a shared restroom just a few feet away. During your stay, you may encounter private vocal or guitar lessons (you are invited to book a private session!), concerts open to the public (and you!) or an occasional facilitated public event. We’ll make sure you get a heads-up and an invite. The house has many common spaces to enjoy such as the living room, front porch and garden in the front yard. Here you can expect a peaceful, relaxing stay or getaway. The house is clean, tidy, bright and welcoming. Currently I am showing ceramics, photographs and paintings. More to come! I am a ceramic artist and have works on display. The pictured baby grand piano is used by Portland vocalist Jonathan Brinkley to teach voice lessons from time to time. His sessions are playful, inspiring, refreshing, and benefit more than just singing. He is available should you decide you'd like an impromptu lesson!
We’re close to Alberta St., NE 42nd Ave, NE Fremont and NE Killingsworth and only a few miles from Mississippi St.. Tons to do/see/eat/play and explore in our hood!

  • Jennifer and her family were great hosts! I found her place to be super charming. The room was accommodating with just about everything I needed, and the bed was a treat. Super soft and the sheets felt like butter:) I forgot that I'd booked this room with a shared bathroom, but I honestly never had to wait to get in, so if felt more private even if it wasn't. Her home was close to everything I needed to see, and overall, I'd definitely book again if I ever return:)

In the middle of a restaurant, brewery, coffee, and Portlandia paradise! This private one bedroom apartment is located in the vibrant Hawthorne District, considered to be one of the best neighborhoods for tourists in the city! Close to everything! I am a food blogger (pizza) here in Portland, and love sharing my favorite spots in the city. See our reviews! Our guests share all you need to see before booking! :) Please inquire for dates more than 6 months out. We look forward to hosting you!
The lower apartment is fresh, clean, modern, new construction with lots of light. We welcome you as our guest(s). Enjoy a fresh cup of local coffee while sitting by the fireplace. APARTMENT: roughly 700 square feet legal Alternative Dwelling Unit (ADU) in the lower level of our 1911 Bungalow home. Spacious for solo travelers or couples, and can also accommodate up to 4 guests. The apt is under our living space, has sound mitigation, and includes its own entrance, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area. Brand new concrete floors throughout, with insulation underneath. • This is a gem tucked into a safe neighborhood near Hawthorne in Portland. Blaine and Taylor are gracious hosts who communicate often to make sure you have what you need and are comfortable. The bed is amazing! It is one of the most comfortable I have slept on away from home. You will find this apartment to be efficient and set up with everything you will need. Lots of welcoming special touches. We loved our five day stay there!

  • Blaine is an extremely responsive, helpful and welcoming host. The apartment is spotless, and he provides all that is needed for a very comfortable stay. The location is great! As Blaine describes in his listing, there is some noise transfer from the upstairs to the downstairs apartment...specifically footsteps. Unfortunately, I was awakened by footsteps in the middle of the night, even though I know that folks upstairs where trying to be quiet. That said, if you are sensitive to noise, as I am, this may not be the best place for you to stay. Blaine does provide a white noise machine. My son, who slept on the pullout sofa in the living room, found these to be very helpful.

  • This Hawthorne Haven is amazing. So close to the action in Portland for food and fun. Very chic and stylish place to keep you cozy. Just a Uber or Lyft to any hotspot and the “Haven” is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Prefect place to stay if you are new to Portland! 5 stars!

    McArthur2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great space that was very clean and just as advertised. The location was perfect, parking was a non issue, and it was very quiet despite being in a densely populated area.

    Jordan2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely adore this place! My partner and I came in town for the weekend and never wanted to leave this space when it came time to follow our own itinerary. It was so clean, smelled great, is super and so freaking cute! Blaine provided great accommodations/complimentary items with the space. I love that they provided a manual for the entire place and its gadgets along with recommended places to site-see and to eat; it was very helpful and much appreciated. I hope to stay here for all my visits back to Portland if I can. I was not in a hurry to leave.

  • Great host and an amazing, clean space! Would be happy to stay here again!

    Kelly Ann2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fabulous spot. As it is the upper floor of a craftsman house so there are windows facing in each of four directions. To the north you look out on the Barton Nell Heritage Grove of Douglas Fir - impressive trees! The bed is very cozy, the work desk area is spacious and includes a printer, the mini frig and kitchen area are functional, the entire place is open and spacious. There are plenty of drawers and a place to hang clothes for a longer stay. I spent a very happy week here working on a writing project. It was perfect. Stephan is a kind and responsive host and you will have all the privacy you could want. I definitely hope to return.

    Valerie2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. Super clean. Great bed and the super mario game was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

  • Stephan’s place was honestly so much better than expected. Everything was so easy, including check-in. When we tried to play the games, all the batteries were dead, and Stephan went all the way to the store at night just to get some for us! Such cool hosts.

  • Stephan was the best, such a wonderful host. My fiancé and I spent the weekend at his family’s beautiful home. The neighborhood was safe with plenty of available parking and his space was very clean, private and exceeded our expectations. We were very comfortable and found ourselves wanting to stay in while it rained as it was so cozy inside. You will not regret staying here as his home is also very convenient to major tourist attractions, the airport and downtown. Stephan gave us very good tips on where to go in town and was so accommodating, he definitely made our trip much more enjoyable too. Thanks again Stephan! We hope to stay again with you next time we’re in town :)

    Jennifer2020-02-09T00:00:00Z

We would love you to stay at the Arnold guesthouse! Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood near PDX airport (7.5 miles), I-205 and restaurants/grocery/shops. The guesthouse is an additional dwelling unit to our home and is separated by a staircase that is closed (very little noise and private). It has a private driveway and keypad entry. The unit is a studio style space, with kitchenette, lounge and dining areas. It has a a separate bathroom and walk-in closet with plenty of storage.
The kitchenette includes: coffeemaker (we supply coffee, sugar and half n half), counter-top elements, convection oven (can bake a 12" pizza and brownies) that also functions as a microwave, mini-fridge and a variety of pots, pans, utensils for basic cooking needs. We stock shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom for guest use.
We live in a quite, friendly neighborhood. Within 5mins drive is a Fred Myer, Trader Joe's, Cinetopia (lazyboy style movie theatre) and numerous eating places including Chipotle, Mod pizza, Starbucks, Sharis and numerous other restaurants. We are a 3 min walk from a large park with mature trees and a playground.

Nestled in the private backyard of our family home, a neighborhood hub. The round, rustic, romantic MudHut hides in a secret garden overlooking the St. Johns bridge and sparkling river, near Cathedral Park, Forest Park, downtown St. Johns, canoe and hiking trails... Firepit, permaculture gardens, loaner bikes, community life, view!
Our hut was handbuilt by family, friends, and community with great love and serves as a guesthouse, homeschool hut, sauna and sanctuary. Wood-heated and candle-lit, it's a tranquil, rustic sleeping space. I recommend staying two nights for an immersive experience in the relaxing atmosphere. We are makers, artists and parents, and our land is a lively reflection of our creative life, often with projects brewing and children playing. A humming hive in a hidden wood on a bluff above the river.
We're in St. Johns, Portland's northern-most neighborhood and a small town of its own with a strong community identity here. Many families here trace their roots back to James John, the pioneer founder of St. Johns who is memorialized all over the neighborhood. Downtown St. Johns is a few blocks away, with plenty of restaurants (Thai, vegan, soulfood, chinese, pub grub, pizza, deli, breakfast, coffee & gelato), an old movie theater and shopping (lots of vintage). Cathedral Park, three blocks away, is gorgeous and photogenic with access to the Willamette River and the awesome overhead presence of the gothic St. Johns Bridge that you can see from the hut. We're also close to a lot of natural areas for urban hiking and paddling. Forest Park, full of trails and old growth forest, is right across the bridge. Just north of here is Kelley Point Park, the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers; Smith and Bybee Lakes, a wetlands for birding and paddling; and Sauvie Island, with beaches, farms, nurseries, hiking, fishing, & birding. We're on the Pacific migratory fly-way, so lots of raptor action around here. Bald eagles, peregrine falcons and hawks swoop by regularly.
  • A wonderful stay! There were too many cute touches to count, and it didn’t take long for it to feel like coming home when I opened the door of that cute little hut. Hospitality was phenomenal, ivy is an interesting and very kind person. Very worth the long drive !

    Angelia2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • the mud hut was more than a dream.. it was such an amazing experience and perfect stay for me and my boyfriends first time in oregon!! the views were an extra plus!!! before arriving i was very clueless on how to start a fire so if you’re new to that as well, ivy is more than willing to complete your coziness with a tutorial on how to start and keep a fire going all night. truly, i am sad to leave but i know a piece of me has stayed there forever!! thank you so much for this beautiful stay, and we hope to stay with you in the future!!

    Alyzabeth2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • This places is wonderful!!! The bathroom is not right in the hut but close. You do have to step outside to get to it but it was totally fine. The hut is so sweet, romantic, intimate and along with the hot tub we had such a relaxing stay here. The candle lights are beautiful and all the personal touches in the hut are just so incredible. 10/10 would stay again.

    Samantha2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Magical. This is more than a place to stay, it's an experience. Ivy was a great host. The place warmed up very quickly with the little wood stove. The bed is not sprung, which I really like. Good veiw of the bridge from the hot tub. The sound of the trains going by adds a lovely ambience to a special experience.

    Alistair2019-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • The space is amazing! I wasn’t expecting to feel so relaxed at an Airbnb! I will definitely be back and thanks for the travel tips Ivy.

Just-remodeled, cozy basement apartment with custom woodwork and west-facing windows for warm afternoon light. House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood 11 miles from downtown Portland. Your space includes full private kitchen with gas range, private bath, and private bedroom with ample closet space.
The back door entrance is shared, but you have your own locking door at the bottom of the stairs. We live upstairs and you may hear occasional baby crying, piano playing, or power tools out in the garage. But there is special sound (and fire)-proof drywall between us and previous tenants have said it wasn't a bother. The whole unit is about 400 square feet. There is a couch where a third person might be able to sleep, but it's fairly short.
Our neighborhood consists of mostly single family homes, many of them attractive Craftsman style buildings with nice landscaping. There is a locally beloved coffee shop within walking distance and a vibrant downtown with bars, restaurants, yoga, and shopping about 2 miles away. There's a mall with big box stores (JCPenny, etc) 5 miles away. We have very friendly neighbors including several children under the age of 10.
  • Cute place!! Definitely can hear that family that resides upstairs but if you are like me, traveling alone and find it comforting, there is no issue.

  • Racchell’s Enchanted Cottage is just that; Enchanting. The decor is cute, chic and welcoming. It is an unexpected hideaway in a neighborhood. The directions for getting in are easy and straightforward, the location is secure. I was able to sleep peacefully and relax after a busy day with family. I don’t recommend for anyone who is looking to be loud or party. This is a relaxing oasis in a neighborhood, perfect for low key traveler or a couple. Not for more then to two people. The loft bed is comfy and doesn’t feel small since the ceiling isn’t super low. Just be aware that you can’t stand up all the way once you are at the top of the stairs, so you need to be able to use your knees. Once up at the top, its comfy to half stand, sit and easy to get into bed and maneuver around. Highly recommend!

  • Cute tiny house with everything you need and very private! We loved our stay at the enchanted cottage.

    Mei2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights and were very happy overall. Racchel is SUPER sweet, we messaged frequently before and during my stay and she was quick to respond to any message. We never actually met in person, but she had been so friendly and accommodating, at the end I hardly felt like it had been my first time At one of her stays! We wanted to book the space for one more night and unfortunately had a set back, unfortunately, it was reserved by the time I went to extend it so, BOOK THIS IMMEDIATELY IF YOU WANT IT! Because it will be gone in the blink of an eye if you don’t. It’s a really good value for the price. We were really sad we couldn’t book the last night, but Racchel was quick to offer us another room she had available in her main house . Unfortunately we decided to change locations and didn’t rent it, but absolutely would have, had we stayed in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Racchel’s“Enchanted Cottage” and really don’t have any “complaints” but here are Just some things we thought good to note (and NONE of this is written in a negative light- we were truly stoked) Just know that the “loft” part of the cottage, isn’t exactly “tall person friendly” at least getting UP/INTO to the loft isnt. I think Racchel mentions this, but the attic style ladder to get up to the loft is prett-y sketchy- it’s sturdy in all, but the small step area and no actual hand rail, combined with the really low ceilings at the top of the ladder (think sort of a cave entrance you have to crawl through) it’s definitely a task to get up there. (If you have bad knees or some sort of Injury, we don’t recommend this space ONLY because that’s the only way to get up to the only place to sleep) HOWEVER! once you do get to the bed, there is plenty of room in the loft- The space is perfect for sleeping and you can get around the bed fine. Plus there is a great window to let in natural light. Just be aware the ceilings are low, my 6’4” boyfriend was able to SIT and lay comfortably, but said being up there definitely made him realize how tall he actually is. I too, had to bend over when standing up (I’m 5’7”)but was obviously more comfortable up there than he was/ Despite it being a task, (and quite possibly humorous) once you make the journey up to the loft, IT IS SO WORTH IT BECAUSE THE BED IS INCREDIBLE!!!!! I kid you not, it’s a trap, that bed is unreal, you WILL sleep all day if you’re not careful and you WILL NOT want to sleep on anything else again ! Honestly, it ended up being where we spent pretty much all of our time (reading, writing, RELAXING) which was great! (Except Having to go up and down the ladder every time we had to use the bathroom) anyway by the end of our stay, we had that ladder pretty familiarized I think- The downstairs has everything you could possibly need, the kitchen is set up with tons of utensils and dishes, Racchel even had bagels and cream cheese in the fridge and coffee pods and creamer- which was a nice touch a and surprise! We didn’t do any cooking, but it’s cool, unlike a lot of small spaces, there’s a full range and full size fridge; so you can cook anything you may want to! The couch in the living room is most definitely more for looks than comfort- (maybe the bed ruined us?) it’s very small and not made for lounging- so before you PLOP on down- just know the back of the couch is very stiff and flat and I could feel the big springs through the bottom cushion depending where I sat. If you get positioned just right, it’s not so bad . There’s only one tv and it’s Downstairs in Front view of that couch, it is a smart tv and has Netflix so We DID somehow manage to both squeeze/cuddle onto the little couch in attempts to watch Something, but we quickly gave that idea up and returned to the cloud bed where we actually had comfort and space. It would be Great with a tv upstairs to watch from the bed, but Honestly, in the end, the not so comfy couch, kept us away from the tv and brought us closer together- instead of binging mindless tv shows and zoning out, we binged on deep conversations and our time together 👍 Okay I’m almost done- promise! Lastly, the Enchanted Cottage is immaculately clean! You would barely know someone was there before you!! DO NOT plan on changing your own hair color or working on that tye-dye project you w been putting off, because I kid you not, EVERYTHING in the cottage is WHITE! Needless to say, it adds a really charming elegance and sense of “enchanted-ness” to the place, just be careful drinking that glass of wine you have to celebrate your time there 😄 We highly recommend this spot and after our experience we can only assume ANY of Racchels listings will be just as awesome. Next time we are in Vancouver, we will totally be checking the availability of her spots first!!!

  • We were pleasantly surprised to find the cottage pre-heated for us, which was nice after a cold, wet day. The bed was spacious and warm. Bathroom had great hot water. Kitchen had all the cutleries required. No complaints! Bed was a little softer than desired, but that's simply personal preference.

My place is a tiny house/garage conversion close to restaurants, shopping, bus line, 14 miles from downtown Portland, 15 miles from Portland Airport. Be sure to ask about best times to cross into Portland to avoid traffic! My place is good for couples, solo travelers, older children (due to loft), and well behaved pets who are used to new places. We have a ZERO tolerance for drugs and illegal activity so if you are looking for a place to distribute, this is not your place.
After entering our yard, you'll have a private entrance and private fenced in yard space. Inside you'll love the cozy apartment with a tiny house feel complete with a fun loft bedroom upstairs. The loft has an A-frame ceiling about 6'3'' high at its peak. It offers just enough walking space to walk to your bed or chair. I live next door in the main house, which is older and being renovated.
Our home is in a suburban area with our neighbors house next to the Airbnb yard.
  • Rachel and Jeff were great hosts. I really appreciated how responsive they were. Their place is extremely cute and ideal for those visiting the area. It's cheap, and in a great location right to downtown Portland.

  • I've stayed at quite a few airbnb's; Kyle's place is far and away the most impressive. His place hits all the marks--clean, true to description, safe, value, etcetera. For the price, I am sure there is nothing better in the area. It seems as though Kyle honestly enjoys having this space for people to enjoy, the amenities are thoughtful and calculated. A high-brow experience!

Your bathroom is well stocked with supplies and Zen, including our own homemade bath salts and essential oils.
We are tucked in a little neighborhood positioned perfectly in the center of Vancouver, just off 4th Plain Blvd but adjacent to a large country club. A five minute drive or fifteen minute walk to Vancouver Mall or another large center with stores like Walmart & Target. Simply a plethora of shopping, restaurants, markets, gyms, theaters or hike/bike trails. Two traffic lights from a major freeway equals quick access if you're heading out further.
  • Really nice house, super clean and good location. Elena’s hospitality is amazing, best experience in Airbnb so far.

  • Comfortable and clean room with all the amenities needed. Thank you for hosting, Elena!

    Stephanie2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • There are several things I would like to highlight about my wonderful stay at Zachary and Elena’s place: 1. I was very appreciative of how accommodating Elena was. I was originally supposed to stay back in January but due to bad weather I had to push it back a month. There was no problem at all. One message took care of it. 2. I tend to keep to myself especially when I travel solo. Both Zachary and Elena were very respectful and gave me my privacy the entire time. 3. The bed was super duper comfy! If anything I am always super disappointed in the amount of pillows there are but Elena and Zachary made sure that would not be a problem! So many pillows! And the sheets were heavenly soft. I have stayed in many Airbnb’s and so far, this place takes the cake for comfiest bed. 4. There is an adorable Vizsla mix named Samson who lives there! He is super friendly and enjoyable to be around. Made it easy to be away home from my furbabies! I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

    Amanda2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Elena goes far beyond what I expected from an Airbnb host. You will not be disappointed!! The room is wonderful and there is so much thought put into every facet of the experience. 110% recommended!!!

  • Elena and Zachary's home is so comfortable and stylish, you'll feel right at home from the moment you enter. I loved the essential oils provided for the bath, and the bed was so comfortable, I had a great night's sleep!

  • LOVED the style of this air b n b. The colors and the vibe were very modern and made it hard to want to leave. The location was in the middle of a beautiful neighborhood. Our stay was just perfect. I also loved how shampoo, conditioner, and soap were provided. I felt so happy every time I went into the air b n b! It was probably the color theme. Would recommend to all my friends!

  • My wife and I come to Vancouver twice a year to visit our son and his family. We have stayed in numerous Airbnbs and this is by far our favorite. The rooms are large and open. The living area has a gas fireplace that fills the entire space with warmth. The bathroom is also very large. Located just north of downtown, it is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend Rocky and Jane’s guest suite for those who’s plans include a visit to Vancouver.

  • A nice, hidden gem.. tucked away into a peaceful neighborhood. This place was squeaky clean and a lot more spacious than I expected! A family lives on the floor above it, so I wasn’t alarmed by the sounds from nightly goings-on upstairs, but the positive experience wasn’t changed by this. Would definitely stay again!

    C.2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice, spacious place and is easy to get to, in a great neighborhood location. Morgen is very friendly and responds quickly to messages. I just had a quick overnight stay so didn't take advantage of all this place has to offer - nice yard, living room, proximity to lots of activities in Vancouver and Portland. But it was a very comfortable home away from home for the night. Thanks, Morgen and Dustin!

    Cristina2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Morgen's place is great. Check-in is simple and easy, the place is large and has everything you need. This is effectively the hosts' basement, we stayed on a rainy weekend which meant the kids were confined to the inside, meaning we could hear their feet running around the house above! It didn't wake us up or keep us awake just something to keep in mind!

    Tom2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at Morgen's place! It is in a great central location, near the river. They provided great hospitality and were prompt with communication. I really appreciated that they had a coffee maker, in addition to cream and sugar. That was a nice touch. It is a large space--I was by myself, but it could easily accommodate 4-5 people. Highly recommend it!

    Kyung2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved this place! It is decorated beautifully and it feels very homey. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood and it is about 1 minute away (less maybe) from the on ramp of a highway. The bed is so comfy, and the pull-out couch was amazing. Unlike most pull-out couches, this one was one of those origami type that turns into a completely flat bed - a decent size too! It made me want to buy one for myself. I cannot say anything bad or disappointing about this place. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed!

    Shivani2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely little place that would be excellent for an extended stay, complete with a kitchen, laundry room, and the couch turns into a nice little spare bed. If we ever need to travel to Portland or Vancouver, we will definitely stay here again.

Within a 1.2 mile radius our cheerful poppy-themed apartment has a Cinetopia, restaurants, and stores. It's 6 miles from great bird-viewing, 10 miles from the Columbia River Gorge with its fabulous hikes and outside of travel times it will take you 20 minutes to downtown Portland. Refrigerator, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker. Through the gate, a relaxing garden with a pond and secret sitting nooks. Great for solo travellers, romantic getaway or business stays.
Our poppy-themed apartment (which is partitioned off from the main house so you will hear signs of life) is a separate space and has its own private entrance. It is bright and cheerful It has 3 rooms: a sitting room, bedroom and twin-sink full bathroom. We don't want to spoil your fun, but loud voices carry when the house is quiet - our quiet times are 10.30pm-6.30am. Please note no showering, bathing or using the bathroom vent during these times the vent runs through our bedroom and vibrates like a freight train. It is convenient to the airport, shops a movie house and public transport, colorful and cheerful. There is plenty of hanging space and a place to put your luggage behind the bedroom door. You'll find teas and coffee, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a few condiments for your convenience. Free wi-if and parking outside your door if you have a compact to midsize car. Anything bigger please let us know and we'll arrange alternative parking for you. Enjoy our large garden through the gate but please secure the gate. Our road can be busy at times and can be especially noisy on garbage days (friday mornings). We have an a large tree hedge and we have put up blinds as well as double lined heavy curtains. Please use the white noise maker we provide if you hit one of those noisy nights.
Our garden is private and quiet, and surrounded by huge old trees. You'd never guess that shops and public transport is all only a 5-minute walk away. We have a small strip mall that boasts a Walgreens, Craft warehouse (that regularly hosts events), multiple restuarants (including Sushi, Shari's, Vietnamese Pho, Thai, Bagels and McDonalds); a great little bakery (Larsens), a couple of banks, Auto parts, mailing and copy service, a Supercuts and Chucks grocery store. The latter has a really nice range of organic produce, ready made soups, salads etc.. and a fabulous little health store. (note: it's closed on Saturdays). Opposite this mall is another smaller shopping center with a Wells Fargo, Office Depot, and Safeway which also has a Starbucks in it and a gas station. We also have a Cinetopia less than a mile away right down the street. There is also a park less than half a mile from us.
  • The Poppy Place is the perfect home away from home when visiting Portland. Decadently clean and furnished with Portland-esque stylings, you will feel like you're staying in Oregon without the hustle and bustle of the big city. A wonderful place to crash after a long day of exploration, I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get away.

  • Cari is super responsive, friendly and hosted the perfect suite for my friend and I. The suite had everything we needed and was located in a very safe neighborhood. Close to everything you need! I highly recommend Cari's place!

  • Cari’s place was great! Nice and clean and exactly what we needed for a quick trip to the area. Convenient to downtown, the airport, and family in the suburbs. We would definitely stay at Cari’s again in the future.

  • Cari’s place was wondering and so close to all our hiking adventures! Cari was quick to respond and available if we needed her!

    Caitlin2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Really wonderful place to stay. You have a private entry and area to stay, which includes a bedroom, bathroom, living room. The pseudo-kitchen has a microwave, fridge, plates, and utensils, which was certainly enough for quick heat-up breakfasts. We were very comfortable and appreciated the handmade ceramics and other personal touches. Thanks Cari!

  • Comfortable and clean - located near the 275 for easy access to Portland over the bridge. Host was quick to respond.

This guest suite in our daylight basement features private entry and full private bathroom complete with tub/shower. Across the entry hall, the bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, couch, table for two, mini-fridge, microwave, dishware, TV with DVD/Bluray, some movies and an AppleTV for your video streaming accounts. Upon check-in, you'll find a gift card for a local brewery. Downtown Vancouver is close by and features some great breweries, restaurants, parks and trails with great views.
Our home was built in 1927 and is among the oldest in the neighborhood. We haven't confirmed yet but suspect it may be an old mail order kit home. It's been recently remodeled but still has that nice old-home charm. Using your own entry into the house, the guest suite is in the daylight basement where you find a full bathroom, bedroom with queen bed and a small kitchenette.
We are located in Vancouver's historic Central Park neighborhood. There are several parks nearby all within easy walking distance as well as some great walking routes. Also nearby in easy walking distance is Fort Vancouver National Park, the beautiful Officers Row, historic military barracks and the Pearson Air Museum.
  • Excellent space! Clean, well equipped, private!

We loved the TV in the room, as well as the microwave and fridge available for our use. Thanks for the great stay!

Private newly-remodeled basement apartment with off-street parking and WiFi in funky St. Johns neighborhood. Guests have private entrance and can check themselves in with the keypad. Close to the University of Portland and downtown St. Johns, and across the street from a food cart pod with lots of dining options, as well as beer, wine, and cider. We're also across the street from a Fred Meyer grocery store and a block from New Seasons, a grocery/deli specializing in local and organic options.
We have spent the last year finishing our basement and everything is brand new! Kitchen accessories include a full-size fridge and freezer with ice maker and water dispenser (our tap water is some of the best in the country, so feel free to use that, too!), microwave, toaster oven, electric induction cooktop, electric frying pan, coffee maker, and tea kettle. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, bowls, utensils, and some basic condiments. We also have coffee, creamer, and tea available. The bedroom contains a queen-size pillow top mattress with a down comforter. There are also a closet and a dresser for guests' use. Living room features two plush couches, one of which has a fold-out queen-size memory foam bed, a recliner, and a 55-inch smart TV with Amazon prime, Hulu, and Netflix. We can also provide an air mattress if you need another sleeping area. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, first aid supplies, and other bathroom basics, as well as lots of big, fluffy towels! We only have one laundry area, but we can make it available to guests if needed. There is also a dining room with seating for 4 and a computer workstation. Guests will have access to high-speed WiFi. The home has central heating and AC, plus a gas fireplace with a remote control to keep you toasty warm without leaving the comfort of the couch. St. Johns is a quirky little pocket of Portland, on the peninsula where the Willamette River meets the Columbia River. Our home is close to the University of Portland and Roosevelt High School. We are located about a mile from downtown St. Johns, with lots of options for shopping, coffee, dining, drinking, and entertainment, including a farmer's market every Saturday during the summer. We have bikes available for guests' use, and Portland has an e-scooter rental program with e-scooters frequently on hand nearby. We're also minutes away from 5,100+ acre Forest Park, with its 70 miles of recreational trails suitable for any level of hiker or biker. Less than 10 minutes' drive will take you to Kelley Point Park and its Willamette and Columbia River beaches. It's a 20-minute drive to downtown Portland and everything it has to offer. We are about 25 minutes from the airport by car. Lyft rides to and from the airport are usually $20-$30. We are located about 500 feet from a bus stop for one of the main bus lines through the city, which can also connect you to the light rail train system that can take you all over Portland, including the airport. If you need to get somewhere quickly there are always plenty of Ubers and Lyfts near by. We're also about an hour from the beautiful Oregon coast and 1.5 hours from Mt. Hood, and there are endless opportunities in every direction for enjoying the outdoors. For the wine lovers, we are about an hour from Newberg and McMinnville with endless opportunities for wine tasting. It is a basement apartment, and we have old hardwood floors upstairs, so as much as we try to be quiet, you will hear noises from upstairs. We also have several dogs and cats. They won't have access to the basement when we have guests, but they do go down there when we have family in town, so if you are severely allergic to pets, this may not be the place for you, as no amount of cleaning can remove every pet hair. Our newly remodeled basement is fully up to code and permitted by the city.
St. Johns has its own downtown area about a mile from our home, with lots of options for coffee, dining, drinking, shopping, and entertainment. We have a farmer's market every Saturday during the summer. There are many parks within walking or biking distance. We're also only a 20-minute drive from downtown Portland and its endless options for eating, drinking, and entertainment. We're about an hour from the coast and 1.5 hours from Mt. Hood, with unlimited options in every direction for enjoying the outdoors.

  • Very comfortable and clean. The hosts deliver with the amenities. If you forgot to pack any toiletries, you will mostly likely be covered by all the amenities this place has. I loved the location and how conveniently close it was to grocery stores, gas stations and the food trucks. If you rent a car the hosts provide a prime parking space next to the bnb entrance. Really great spot overall, easy access, very clean, and the bathroom is awesome. LOVE the bathroom. I recommend this place.

Hello! My name is Elizabeth and my husband is Brett! We are in Vancouver about 18min from Portland Airport. Nice, quiet smoke-free place in a safe neighborhood. Best perk- you can pet the two shiba inus who live here if you would like :) If you need additional rooms/air mattresses, accommodations for more guests, full house rental, long term stay or need rooms when the calendar is blocked off, please reach out as we might be able to accommodate! We welcome all!
The room we have is simple- nothing fancy. Bed, nightstand, and lamp. We are just starting out with airbnb but it is a comfortable and safe place to stay in Vancouver close to Portland! We have two shiba inus who are the true owners of our home! Gatsby is 5 years old and loves belly scratches and human interaction! Twister is our special needs rescue who has been with us about 6 months. He is still a little skittish and does bark a bit at strangers initially. We are hoping that opening our home to guests will help him adjust to visitors in our home over time! He is a sweet soul and LOVES to run! The current room for guests is downstairs that is separated by a door should you want the privacy away from the puppers! Please note that as my husband and I co-host, we only utilize the messaging through the Airbnb platform and do not text/call unless it is an emergency. Please download the Airbnb app for easy messaging! We have an air mattress we can bring out for an additional cost per night if you need additional sleeping arrangements beyond the queen in the guest room.
Our neighborhood is quiet, safe and excellent for morning/evening walks! :)
  • Elizabeth is outstanding person. I checked in around 11pm . She took to show me around the hous . The house is very clean, bathroom is clean and the room is great. I will definitely stay there again. Thank, Elizabeth!

  • Perfect place if you want a quiet, calm, clean stay! Everything was meticulously cleaned and there were friendly notes with tips and reminders! It’s very apparent that Ken cares about his guests and wants them to have everything they could need. Items I wish I brought were in labeled cabinets for easy access. The home is gorgeous and the lower level is private and safe. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. The snack bar was such a nice touch! It was really nice having a mini fridge to use and there was such a nice array of snacks and breakfast items. We are already planning our next trip to Vancouver and would love to stay at Ken’s again.

  • Exactly as advertised, all the necessities! If it’s a longer trip, I’d prob recommend getting a car (we somehow did for less than $20/day) and there’s tons of free parking. Otherwise ride shares might get pricey. The hood itself is unreal - I’ve never seen anything like it. Great amenities and comfy bed!

  • This might just be my all-time favorite airbnb. and I've stayed at quite a few. This cabin is light, airy, sparkling clean, comfy bed, comfy sofa, darling kitchen with everything - I mean EVERYTHING - you might need. This was the perfect place for me to meet up with all my kids , near Portland, near everything we need to be near. Loved it and can't wait to stay again. The other reviews in the guest book were equally effusive, Melody deserves a big hand for JOB WELL DONE.

  • This is just perfect, if a write a great review then it might be difficult for the cottage to be available in the future. This place is as advertised and we really enjoyed every aspect. Melodys cottage is very detailed on all of her guests needs, this will be the only place I will stay at in Vancouver Wa. Very quiet and hidden location and perfect. My family thanks Melodys family again!!!!

She also stocked it with a lot of amenities, including some really good coffee my boyfriend loved. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Vancouver.

Located a quick 5 miles north of downtown, our 1927 craftsman home is convenient for drivers with plenty of free, unrestricted parking and easy public transportation (light rail & bus). Rest easy with us! The private bedroom is located on the main floor of our home and has its own private bathroom -- including clawfoot tub with shower, basic toiletries/amenities & even a hair dryer! Guests have told us the queen bed is extremely comfortable and the blackout blinds make it feel like you could sleep all day. Seasonally adjusted down-filled duvets keep you comfortable year-round. Our home runs on 100% renewable energy! We pay a bit more so you can feel good about your stay! Even so, we offer a remote-control ceiling fan and small bedside fan to help with heat. When high temps exceed 80 degrees we even provide a portable A/C unit. The cozy reading chair gives you space to plan your adventures or read a book. • Marlene & Charity went the extra mile to make our stay perfect.

  • This is our third visit to Maylene and Charity’s AirBnB. They are wonderful hosts, responsive and helpful, without hovering. Everything is organized and clearly explained. Plus, their sweet pup, Alys, is a total love. The house has a great location in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. (Even the trees have names.) We were able to easily walk—or ride the light rail—to everywhere we wanted to go (Swift & Union, Saturday Art Market, OMSI, Powell’s City of Books, Blue Star Doughnuts...) We heartily recommend it for your next visit to Portland.

  • Maylene and Charity were wonderful hosts. This was my first time using Airbnb and they made the whole thing so easy. The house was quiet and it’s in a great location. There’s food that’s walking distance and it’s also relatively close to downtown. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking something that’s more low key, but overall it’s a great place regardless of what you’re doing in Portland.

  • Such a lovely, peaceful place to rest and jumping off point to recreate and explore beautiful Portland and the quirky, cozy historic Kenton neighborhood.

  • Amazing little place just above the Columbia river. It's near the railroad tracks, but just the low rumble of slow moving train, no screeching wheels or disturbing noises at all. I love the sound so it was very comforting to me. The place is quaint and during warmer months, having the outside patio would be amazing to sit and relax. The bed was amazing and loved the pillows. That is a very rare thing for me to say, but it really was a delight to sleep here. Highly recommend and would for sure stay there again.

  • Came for the weekend to visit kids worked out great!

    Cindi2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • This place was so relaxing and just what I needed for a little stay-cation in the Portland area. It was extremely clean and so much quieter than my apartment in the city. The pool was fantastic but the soaking tub really won me over; there were even lavender epsom salts that I melted into every evening! The kitchenette was perfect; I just stocked some groceries in the fridge and cooked whatever I needed with the things that were provided. All in all I left refreshed and rejuvenated after a long weekend of relaxation. I would highly recommend it!

  • A great spot, lovely respite from Portland. Easy access to freeways, good food, coffee. The Japanese tub is a welcome relaxation, and they offered thoughtful touches like a bowl of fruit and filtered water.

  • Heidi snd Marenda’s place is always our favorite choice when visiting our daughter at UP. Hip and stylish place, I need to visit in summer to see the cool gardens in full glory :)

    Megan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

    Ayako2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Heidi and Marenda’s place is in a perfect little spot in Portland, it’s just the right amount of distance from the outdoors and the city. Being from Salt Lake City I was a little nervous about the amount distance from venues but it’s actually closer than you think! The loft was super clean, comfortable, and had everything needed to make a Christmas dinner. I would definitely stay here again! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

    Sumner2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Woah. First off, the pictures do not do this place justice - and the pictures are really good! The space is huge, full of light, and cozy all at once. Amazing kitchen, access to laundry, gorgeous shower, and incredibly comfortable bed. Walkable to St. John’s but tucked back in a sweet, quiet neighborhood. And communication with hosts was extremely easy. I’m really looking forward to staying here again!
