There should be a waiting list for this incredible house, honestly it was that amazing! The tiny cabin was just magical, truly and we enjoyed every second of our time there✨The house is not only gorgeous but insanely functional, full of every single amenity you could possibly want and a dream to stay in, I only wish we could have stayed longer! The snow was breathtaking, Susan and Carson’s property is STUNNING and they were a total dream to coordinate with. We will absolutely be back 💕

This tiny home was so perfect and charming! It has everything you could want and is centrally locates between some tog the best cities in Vermont! We had such a fun brewery tour of Vermont while staying here! The wood burning stove was awesome! We would highly recommend staying with Susan and Carson!!

Magical. We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy, romantic and charming cabin. The location was perfect - quiet, but not far from Burlington in one direction and the ski areas of Sugarbush and Stowe in the other. A real gem!

The house/cabin is wonderfully authentic with original beams and touches like the big wooden inside door that opens with a pull rope. But it is modern with a pleasantly large Roku TV, dishwasher, modern gas stove, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, wifi, etc. The house has all hard wood floors, which is something I like. The mud room is heated and is a great spot for skis, boots, snowshoes and all the entourage that comes with winter sports. Check in is easy and the owner communicates well with check in and local recommendations. We were surprised to find a good selection of board games and even a Lincoln log set that my 12 year old loved. Very quiet location, peaceful.

Very stylish and clean! Highly recommend to those who drive with your own cars! For those don’t drive, call local cab companies can be pricy. Cell signal is very weak in the mountain. Overall, 5 stars for the cabin and the stay. Need to plan smartly next time.

This lodge is everything one dreams of when going for a mountain getaway. It got the rustic, wood feel to it that made it a pleasure to stay in with a hot chocolate or cider after a long day of skiing. Will certainly come back again!

My boyfriend and I stayed her for a couple days while on a spring break ski trip at Bolton Valley! The reviews don’t do it justice! We had an AMAZING stay! The room was actually inside the Bolton Resort: right on the mountain. You can ski right to the room! The room had everything we needed and more: very comfortable beds, a microwave, mini fridge, WiFi, large tv for movies after skiing, a balcony and a clean bathroom. There’s a deli downstairs that has everything from made to order breakfast sandwiches to Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream pints (it went great with our movie)! I couldn’t recommend jame’s place more! We’re already looking forward to booking again for next season.

This is the place to be if you want to ski all day and night. This place is in the center of all the action but very quiet when you want or need that.

Jim was super pleasant and getting into the room was a breeze! It's a no frills and comfy space to create a home base while enjoying all that Bolton Valley has to offer.

James was such a gracious host! He was quick to communicate with us, and went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of.

This was our second visit to Laura's off the grid cabin. My husband, pup, and I loved our second stay just as much as our first, maybe more. We can never decide which spot in the house is our favorite! Hope to visit again soon.

Thank you Laura for sharing your beautiful space! We went in mid/late February with approx 1.5ft of snow on the ground. If you're visiting during the snow season and have a lot of gear, bring a sled along with you if you can. Your legs with thank you later. The hike up to the cabin is only about 10 minutes, but if you've got to make a few trips, loading your gear onto a sled may help the uphill trek in the snow. Once you're up there and settled in, it sure is magical! Unlike another review, we had no trouble heating up the sleeping loft. Outside lows during the night was in high teens, but you can definitely get that little wood stove cranking. After about an hour, the heat certainly makes its way up there and it was plenty comfortable. Hope to be back later this year to see what summer or fall has to offer. Would recommend this stay, especially if you are looking to unplug for a little while.

My fiancé and I have been going to Laura’s beautiful cabin for 3 years now. We got engaged there last year! The cabin is the perfect retreat for those looking to go off the grid. Laura has started the wood stove prior to our arrival each year. The cabin is always warm and cozy when we arrive. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Great place as described! We picked a very cold weekend and were a bit chilly overnight. But the bed was comfy and we had a fun time heading into Burlington and Stowe!

The condo was in a great location central to all the ammenities that Bolton Valley has to offer. The space was perfect for family of 4. The pull out sofa bed was very comfortable. Plenty of blankets and pillows for comfort. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots pans and spices (which isnt always the case from my other experiences in other airbnb bookings). Definetely a safe bet if you are looking to book this condo.

This place was great! Very clean, well set up, and you can’t beat the location; walking distance to BV skiing! We slept our family in this condo in comfort. The pullout couch is very comfortable, which my wife and I slept on and had the kids take the bedroom. We recommend this place to any ski lover looking for a great place to stay in a prime location for a great price!

Great location, across from the slopes about one block down. My son and I enjoyed our stay and the skiing at Bolton Valley was great. We walked back at lunch and chilled for 30 minutes and then back to the slopes. I highly recommend staying here and skiing Bolton Valley.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Julie goes above and beyond! Living in the deep South, southern hospitality is expected, but Julie's hospitality puts all southern hospitality to shame! Thoughtful snacks, soaps, lotions, coffee, teas, etc. Beds are comfortable, living room is cozy, GORGEOUS views any time of year! We'll definitely be back! If you're looking for a wonderful, pure Vermont experience, this is the place to be. You're close enough to Burlington to shop, eat, etc.!

Julie's place was great. We were there in the middle of winter with four people, it was cozy and warm, with plenty of room to have personal space. The apartment is really well done, very clean with great touches all around. A short drive to Bolton Valley to ski and a great pub/restaurant, Stone Corral, just minutes away in Richmond. Julie was prompt, pleasant and thorough with all communication. We weren't outside much, but the grounds looked great and it seems like it would be a good spot to be in the warm weather too!

What a great find for the price! The ‘Playhouse’ in the woods was perfect for us, situated in a great location to explore both Burlington and Stowe easily. Very clean and comfortable, and Monique was helpful and responsive. We definitely appreciated that this great stay was pet-friendly. The ping-pong table and fire pit were an added bonus! Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay again!

This is our 2nd time staying here. We love the location right between Stowe and Burlington, easy to get to both. And the nearby small town of Richmond has some good eats. It was great to bring our dog Dudley with us too. He enjoyed looking for squirrels from within the big windows of the warm cabin. Would definitely stay again.

Super fun space to hang and relax. It’s about a 30 minute drive to downtown Burlington but it’s an incredibly easy drive.

My partner and I were thrilled to find Monique’s dog-friendly playhouse! We don’t visit Vermont nearly as often as we’d like because most places charge quite a bit extra for bringing pets. The playhouse is on a wooded lot less than two miles from 89, and it’s only a 20-minute drive from Burlington. There are lots of trails nearby, and when I told Monique that we planned to take Indigo hiking, she reminded us that it’s open hunting season and to be sure to wear bright colors. Now all three of us own fetching orange vests! Monique was also flexible regarding a check-out time, which we greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again!

What a beautiful and unique place. The mountaintop was relaxing and the smells in the common spaces, wow! Wood burning, faint smell of incense and clean crisp air. The attention to detail from the alkaline water to the organic vegan breakfast just make you feel like melting away the stress. It was quiet but also saturated with lovely people who lived there who were so friendly and helpful. The yoga room and sauna were a delight. Cannot wait to stay here again!

Our stay at Lotus Mountain was amazing. It was a place that matched the vibe we were looking for. daVeed and the fellow attendants were kind, and charming. This is clearly a place to meet and connect with people. We hope to make it a regular vacation destination when we are in Vermont.

Very cool lodge with great room with large fireplace and other fun common areas. Perfect place for a small to medium size gathering. High up in the mountains. Bolton valley ski resort is very close...some may even walk it to it. Great Vegan foods and charming friendly place to hang out. It's not a luxury hotel but you will certainly appreciate the lodge for its rustic charm.

Dahveed and co. have a very special spot in the Bolton valley. Great location, great food on site, hot tub was lovely and sauna too, can’t ask for much more. Staff was super friendly, quick to respond, and helpful with anything we needed and the kombucha bar is absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a unique place to stay in the area look no further. On the hill at Bolton valley, 30 mins to stow, 50 to smugglers notch and hiking/snowshoe trail abound.

Lotus Mountain is an absolute dream. The delicious vegan food, the cozy room and fireplace and the friendly owners all made us feel immediately at home, relaxed and tuned in. The library and the fireplace downstairs offered much needed reading and contemplation time, and every question, whether about using the hot tub or asking for a book recommendation, received a thoughtful and considered answer. The kombucha, the food and the coffee are all delicious and in addition to being well decorated, the space is full of beautiful crystals. The energy in this space is so positive that we didn't want to leave. Will definitely return!

This was a lovely place to stay. It was in an excellent location and offered great access to Burlington and Stowe. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and Katie thought of wonderful details like leaving a bottle of local maple syrup. There are so many great things about Katie's place in Richmond. The space is wonderfully cozy. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the wood pellet stove which kept everything nice and warm after a day of skiing. It is also QUIET. I usually have to wear earplugs when vacationing, as I am a light sleeper, and I didn't even need to take them out of my suitcase this time. The town of Richmond is small, quaint, but still has nice restaurants, breweries, and more. Its also centrally located to at least 4-5 great ski resorts and towns. Burlington is a short 20 minute drive. We have stayed in rural VT before and this time we were able to see and do more with a lot less driving. This is our 3rd time visiting VT and my wife and I agreed, this was our all around favorite place to stay so far. We hope to be back! Thanks again Katie.

Clean, cute and cozy- our small family of three was quite comfortable at Katie's for the 3 nights we stayed. We didn't want for anything, and Katie was GREAT from the moment we checked in. She was super helpful and was able to make suggestions about places to go etc..that fit our needs. (5 stars for friendliest, most helpful hostess!) We didn't want for anything in the space, and really appreciated the little touches like the complimentary maple syrup, and coffee/condiments/spices available. We also liked that there were a few local restos/cafes that were so close, you could walk within minutes. Also, a grocery store was just as close. This was really handy. We tried them all and thought they were great. Also, the people seem soooooo friendly in this area, and it was hard to come home. This was easily one of our top Air B N B experiences. Enjoy your stay!

Warm, cozy, and conveniently located, this cottage-like second floor apartment has all the amenities... tv , well- stocked kitchen, separate bedroom , electric heat as well as a pellet stove. Very clean with magazines and books featuring lots of ideas for local attractions. Owner lives in a separate house on the property and is very responsive to questions--A Vermont gem in the heart of Richmond.

Great location, close to Bolton Valley, with several hiking trails within 30 minutes by car. Check-in was easy, and Gail was a very considerate host. We really appreciated the oatmeal and coffee in the morning before heading out for the day!

Gail’s place is the perfect location for those who like to ski. Bolton Valley is right up the road. The bed is so comfy, bathroom is huge. She gives you oatmeal, coffee and tea maker, tangerines and bananas to get your day started. Best part is that the entrance to the room is the first room up on entering the home so you don’t disturb Gail. The timberline lift to Bolton Valley is literally right next to the place.

A cute cozy space right on the Bolton valley ski resort where you can step right out an be on the mountain.

Wonderful place! First about the actual mountain Bolton Valley: perfect place. We had an absolute blast exploring the trails, my boyfriend is a much better snowboarder ( all trails, glades and park) and I am a beginner (greens some blues) we both had so much fun, him being able to go in and out of the glades to meet up with me on the blue and greens without really separating. Our favorite was the vista lift, everyone was nice and helpful! Only downside: it was very crowded the first day and renting boots and getting the tickets took forever it was extremely annoying however if you prepare for that the rest of the time was ideal! Lodge is very small so definitely bring your own lunch and don’t bother with bringing your stuff down the room is so close! Actual Airbnb: so convenient, so cozy and clean! It was so nice to be able to just come back to our spot for lunch then suit up and go back out, it was quiet and a very lovely space. You can reach the James Moore Tavern (the black bean burger was amazing) and the deli and not even have to leave the facility so not having to bundle back up! Just perfect for a couple or maybe a group of three. The surround sound speakers were a wonderful extra along with the patio and fire stick for the tv. Only downside if you are sensitive to aromas it was a very strong smell of spices that was tough when you first walk in. Can’t wait to come back again! Thanks for a perfect weekend!! Bolton Valley is our new favorite spot.

We had an amazing weekend stay Gail’s place! It was the perfect size for two of us - you are steps away from the mountain. It was especially nice that we were able to walk to the tavern within the base lodge from the apartment without having to even go outside! Gail’s place was the cozy mountain escape we needed and we will return soon!

Absolutely perfect. We stayed for 3 nights and had a fantastic stay. The apartment is super cozy, clean, and comfortable. The little kitchen was super helpful for coffee in the morning, ski breaks, etc. The host was quick to respond to questions, checked in to ensure we arrived safely, and was flexible with us on our flight schedule. One of the best AirBnB experiences I’ve ever had!

Julie's place is the perfect retreat! The cabin was perfect for our party of 4 (+ baby), and Julie thought of everything from the well-equipped kitchen (including a high chair) to the abundance of snacks to the laundry detergent. We appreciated the decor, cozy beds, and Seventh Generation products - great for those with allergies and/or wanting more "clean" products. For those interested in skiing, this place was WELL WORTH the 45 min drive to Stowe. Thanks again, Julie!

This is a lovely place that is far enough away from Burlington to feel rural but close enough to enjoy the amenities it has to offer. The cottage is not far at all from Stowe, Sugarbush and Bolton Valley is just around the corner. Richmond is a nice little town with a couple of restaurants that we like making all the more fun. You could practically cross country ski from the front door and I imagine in the summer, the location close to the stream is ideal. We would be very happy to stay here again and this is one of the best Air BNBs we’ve had the pleasure to stay.

Julie's home is very clean, cute and homey. It was the perfect get a way weekend for a couple. Only 20ish minutes from Burlington and nearby breweries and wineries to visit. She provided great local tips/recommendations for eating and a night out. Julie left snacks/the basics to cook in the beautiful kitchen. The fire pit outside was a nice touch. Would have been nice to have an indoor fireplace but we definitely recommend and hope to be back!

Our stay at Lotus was quick - but restful. Very accessible for those looking for a nearby spot to the ski mountains. dahVeed was very friendly and gave us a tour of the place and all of its amenities. Wish we had a little more time to enjoy the gorgeous fireplace in the lobby. Price was a little higher than we would have liked - but considering the proximity to Bolton/Stowe/Smuggler's - it's hard to complain!

Great time spent at the Lotus Mountain Retreat! We arrived after midnight and they made the check in super easy and clear. The room was cozy and had a beautiful view. We brought our dog with us and she really enjoyed hanging out on the balcony. The staffs are very friendly and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Lotus Mountain Retreat was the most amazing place I have ever stayed in. Instantly as you walked in, you just feel overcome with centered energy and amazing vibes. My boyfriend and I enjoyed an amazing traditional Hawaiian-style couples massage which I totally recommend taking advantage of at their spa (thank you Benji and Tyler for your amazing talents in massage therapy!) The lodge is located right in the forest, which is minutes away from an awesome swimming hole with many waterfalls. Only about a 30 minute drive to Market Place in Burlington as well! Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality. I will be coming again and will be recommending that everyone says here during their visits in Vermont!

The Lotus retreat was the best place to relax and feel like home. Everyone there was super laid back and accommodating and they were comfortable with us staying an extra day and scheduling massages at the last minute. Krysta also gave us advice on which ponds to check out. The area is absolutely gorgeous and there are some good restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time here! Everything is very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed high quality pots and pans, nice thick towels in the bathrooms, soft sheets, etc. Good WiFi and smart TVs are a bonus! Adam is a friendly, helpful host. It was really nice that he provided local coffee, half and half and delicious Vermont maple syrup. Terrific place!

Adam’s house did not disappoint! The location was outstanding for quick access to the ski slopes. The house had everything we could have hoped for and more. We loved being able to come in and warm up by the fire. The loft bedroom was perfect for kids, with an Xbox that was really enjoyed by my younger kids in the evening. There was plenty of space to relax and unwind. We highly recommend staying at Adam’s house for a great Bolton Valley experience.

Adams House is beautiful! The location could not be more perfect, as it’s one minute from the mountain. The house is clean, tastefully decorated, and cozy. I cannot wait to stay here again next time we visit Bolton! Adam was an amazing host, and responded so quickly to anything we asked or needed.

This is a romantic, relaxing, and fun experience! The location is awesome for skiing or backcountry sporting. But who could ever leave the house? The fireplace is just the right touch, great kitchen and amenities, comfortable bed, lovely experience all around. The views were so beautiful on the mountain. Also, Adam is a fantastic host - easy to communicate with and helpful!

If you want to ski a great mountain with endless opportunities to explore AND you dont want to deal with hordes of people, Bolton if phenomenal. The vibe is welcoming and the mountain has everything you need to keep everyone entertained. Adam helped cut the trail at Bolton as a grom and knows the in's and out's as well as you'd expect... but the real value to this rental is his stoke to share that info with his guests. From trail maps to dinner suggestions, it was like having an old friend on hand. The house? EPIC. Watch skiers from the fireplace, walk to the trail in 2 minutes and enjoy a home that has all the touches necessary (games, cozy lounge spots, room to tune your skis) to feel right at home. We rent a handful of ski homes every winter and grew up skiing on the East Coast - this location, host and home just have a special vibe that would make it tough to avoid having a great time (for context, day 1 was shut down on wind delay and saw me break a finger in a few spots when the wind shut the car door on my hand... so we hiked/toured around Little River Park w/ the dogs - still awesome - next day saw 6'' of powder on a forecast of 2'' which led to ~20 trails dropping their ropes - totally worth the wait :-) ). Huge thanks to Bolton Valley and Adam for an amazing trip!

This was the perfect location for our group reunion. The setting is beautiful with great views from large windows and a lovely drive to local attractions. We enjoyed gathering in the evenings around a campfire. The space was clean and all set up for us and the kitchen was well-provisioned so we could cook together. The cabin itself is split between two living spaces, which provides plenty of beds The newer cabin feels like home. It has all the utilities you'd want for a long weekend. Plus, the place is furnished for ultimate comfort. From the master bedroom to the ping pong table in the basement to the fire pit, there's always somewhere to sit and relax The older cabin feels rustic and a call back to a simpler time. The cabin itself is one giant room with a loft and many beds. The cabins have many board games, speakers for music, and outdoor activities located in the garage. For its price, what you get is paradise. Second time staying here and hopeful for many more returns in the future. From nightly s’mores around the campfire to the location being convenient to so many Vermont activities, this has truly become our Vermont home away from home. Consistently clean, well stocked, and easy for our family with young children to feel comfortable and this time with grandparents in tow as well. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and swings, salamanders in the lake to catch, and trails to walk when we needed to expend some energy! Thank you for another wonderful visit 🍁❤️

The pictures posted do not do this place any justice! It is absolutely beautiful! Spectacular mountain views, well maintained landscaping, fire pit with plenty of wood and cooking utensils, spring fed pond, huge yard and an outdoor stove top to cook while you BBQ. Inside you will find it to be very clean and stocked with everything such as linens, towels, board games, cards and every kitchen item needed to prepare meals. Easy and beautiful drives to Burlington or Stowe! We will booking this again when we return to Vermont! Highly recommended!

This was easily one of my best Airbnb experiences. Our group of 10 friends rented this property for a fun mini-vacation in New England. We were amazed by the Home - it’s incredibly beautiful, both inside and out. It’s isolated enough to feel like a true getaway. The views are spectacular - i could definitely see weddings being hosted here! Book this home; you won’t regret it. Amazing stay.

They say real estate is all about location, location, location and this condo's location is impossible to beat. The main Lodge is close to a lift, but this front door is closer! Living room is cozy with the fireplace and inviting sofa. In the bedroom is a large and very comfortable bed. Cooking in does remind you of the tradeoffs of a small space. The kitchen is modest and there is no table to sit for meals. Instead two hard stools and a counter stand in for a table and chairs. It's definitely workable.

This is our third stay at John's place and we will be back. The location could not be better and we always have a great stay. Also, John is a great host that really cares about his place. The renovations he has done are great, we appreciate an owner who puts money back into his rental. Highly recommend.

This ski in/out chalet was lovely. It was incredibly close to the ski lift, so much so that you can come and go as easily as coming and going from the base lodge. Easier even, because you have no crowds and can warm your feet by your own fire at the electric fireplace. John was very responsive to any and all questions. I would stay again.

John's place is very nice and convenient to the slopes. Best dog-friendly place we have EVER rented. Comes as advertised! We would definitely choose again.

This was a really nice place to stay. It has a nice full kitchen and living area, that made it so much better than staying in a hotel for my daughter and me. Luana and her husband are wonderful hosts. My daughter loved the poppy-seed cake that was left for us as a welcome. We will definitely book this airbnb again when we are in the area.

Luana and David’s place is truly something special and hosted by special people. They made me feel part of their family and always took care of me. They are so friendly and helpful. This apartment is beautiful and spotlessly clean. It has a great full size kitchen and a very cozy living room. There is a private outside deck where we enjoyed our coffee and the beautifully landscaped yard every morning. Luanna was very accommodating and made sure we could get in as we checked in after regular hours. The property is very private and at the end of a dead end road close to a very quaint Vermont village, but within an easy commute of Burlington and other features and attractions. This is easily one of the nicest Airbnb's I have ever stayed in and I would recommend it to anyone. It's a great value for the area. You won't be disappointed.

A wonderful Vermont country setting yet a short commute to Burlington. Luanna's super host status is well deserved. A clean, comfortable and private space that has everything needed for a great stay. I can't say enough about Luana's impeccable apartment, which is much more homey than the description adequately conveys. It was so comfortable and perfectly equipped with everything you can possibly need. Luana's taste and personal touches make you feel like you're at a mix between a high-end hotel and your best friend's house. AND to top it all off-- she makes a delicious poppyseed cake! Great spot!

This condo was in a great location, short drive to 3 towns in the area. We found it to be very clean and had all the necessities you need. The bathrooms are 1 up with all the bedrooms and the other downstairs. Great views off front and back balconies. Each bedroom and living area had access to a balcony. The only thing I will note is the back queen bedroom had no storage for clothes or a place for your suitcase. We just used the bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom.

Excellent communication with the owner and a nice place to stay in Bolton Valley. There is a ski slope just behind the townhouse where you can start you ski day. It is also located about 1 km from the mountain main parking. The house was clean when we arrived. There is also plenty of place to stay there with a group of 6-8 people or a family.

We had a great stay at Hillary’s condo. We stayed with another family and there was plenty of space. In fact, with 3 levels it felt very spacious. I also loved the extra space by the back door for all the ski gear. There was lots of closet space and plenty of bathrooms. The location is very close to the base lodge and while we couldn’t ski in and out of the condo, because that part of the mountain wasn’t opened do to poor snow conditions, it was a very easy/ short drive up the hill. I would highly recommend staying here....great value for the $ which made for a great ski weekend!

A wonderful place with a wonderful view. This place was very spacious on the main floor and every bedroom had it's own bathroom..that's a huge plus. Hillary has some nice touches such as a Kuerig coffee and a drip coffee maker and games and cards. Hillary answered all questions quickly which was really appreciated.

Don't look no further! This is the ultimate in ski in/ski out. You can pop you ski's on from the deck and be on the trail in less than 20 yards. The bunk beds and the full bed is located on the first floor, the second floor is where the kitchen, dining, living room, front deck and back deck and the third floor has the King bed. At any floor level, you can't hear above or below. The extra's is the large kitchen, beautiful flooring, big screen TV, Xbox, high ceilings, powerful shower heads, and two assigned parking spots. We look forward to going back next year!

Unbelievable space, on an awesome mountain. Perfect for family to relax, cook, enjoy the mountain and trails with convenience, and let the kids sled and play the day away. This place is a hidden gem and we hope to come back again someday. Immaculate and comfortable space... cozy fireplace, great entertaining/gathering area, plenty of comfy beds. And so much varied terrain on Bolton mt., with easy access out the back door. We felt right in the middle of all the valley had to offer yet quietly tucked away... you’ll love it.

We loved our stay at Mike's condo. Like other travelers have noted, the road up to the condo is very bumpy with some potholes; but the condo makes the ride worth it! We were traveling with our toddler and the house was quite spacious for him to run around. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and Ben &Jerry's icecream in the freezer (probably because I had mentioned to Mike that my toddler is quite excited about visiting the factory!) which was a nice personal touch by the owners. Communication with Mike was great, he was always responsive and the check in was simple as well. Would totally recommend this place for families visiting Vermont, its central to Stowe and Burlington which is what we wanted to visit.

This is a nice retreat up in the mountains. Cool air and running water is what greets you when you get out of your vehicle. The roadway at the top by the lodge has many potholes, so drive slowly. Once inside, you will find a nice little space with a small kitchen, dining, and living room. There are two bedrooms - one with a bathroom and the other bathroom is in main hallway. Host has many nice touches around the space such as classic Vermont images of snow activities. Location is nice since you are pretty close to Waterbury to the east and Burlington is a bit further to the west. I did leave a suggestion with host of some small items for improvement. We would return on a future visit should our plans have us going that way!

There was plenty of space to spread out. This trip was just two of us but I can definitely see bringing kids with us next time. Instructions were easy to follow getting to the property and into the condo itself. All of the decorations made it feel like it was our home away from home. Mike also left a couple of surprises for us (good ones!) Mike made some wonderful suggestions on places to eat and transportation. The condo is right next to the base lodge so it made getting to the lifts a breeze. Vermont is beautiful and we had a great time!

We had a great time at Bolton Valley and Mike and his family provided a wonderful accommodation experience at Last Run. Responses from Mike were always quick, accommodations were sparkling clean, and the little extra touches were very thoughtful. The location is great. We skied 5 days and my family loves Bolton Valley. We were a 3 minute walk to the chairlift from the condo and Nordic skiing was just out the door. My family is already asking when we can return to Last Run. Thanks Mike and family.

This condo is perfectly situated for easy XC and downhill skiing at Bolton. Check-in was easy, and the condo was clean and nicely set-up. The games were a nice bonus for the kids!

We had a great time up at Bolton Valley for the school vacation week. Lots of skiing and good eats at the lodge and in town. The field house was a great space for a little basketball and tossing some lacrosse balls around. Mike's condo was very clean and there was some nice personal touches. It was an easy walk to the slopes and town was about twelve or so minute drive. A couple of nights were in the negative temps, but the condo was nice and toasty. Thanks again.

This is a very comfortable, comforting place. The owners, Holly and Alan, are good people. Holly is a qualified yoga instructor, and good karma envelops the place. The only downside that some might see is having to drive the 4-mile access road on and off the mountain, but that is also a plus, in my view, as you are away from any hustle and bustle. Richmond, a beautiful, bucolic village, is a 15-minute drive, six miles off the access road. It is full of young families and the young people have infused the town with great energy and friendliness. Hatchet, the restaurant there, is terrific and very homey. I spent so much time at Sweet Simone’s, the coffee shop and bakery in Richmond, that they were thinking about charging me rent. You get the rhythm of the area sitting there, watching moms bring their kids in there, workmen grabbing a coffee for the road, etc. The Richmond farmer’s market on Fridays is a good take, classic smalltown Vermont. The one in Burlington on Saturday, about a half hour away, is awesome. Waterbury, which is a bigger town, is seven miles the other way off the access road, and has everything you’d want. Great pubs and, at the Pig, a local brewery. Stowe is another 15 or 20 minutes away from Waterbury, with everything a big ski resort town offers. But we found ourselves cooking in a lot, using vegetables and herbs from Holly’s herb garden, on the condo complex grounds. Holly actively encourages you to use the stuff, lest it goes to waste. The complex is part of the Bolton Valley ski area, and there is a deli and a tavern that serves local brews and pub grub. Anything more sophisticated, you need to head off the mountain. It’s a really nice place at a really fair price. And you can’t beat having owners who are invested in not just their place but the whole area. Holly and Alan are the real deal.

We stay at Bolton every year and this condo was the nicest place we have stayed yet. It's a beautiful place, a nice view of the mountains, right next door to the sports center with a sauna, hot tub, pool, and other things to do. They do a very nice job making it comfortable for guests.

Our family really enjoyed staying at Lar's place. Lars had had a water pipe burst a month prior, and was so communicative and accommodating to us through that. He was always quick to respond to questions on Airbnb, but also gave us our space. The house was a short walk from the ski slopes and had many interesting books for any rest days! Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful mountain house with really beautiful views. Great kitchen with everything you need. Gas fireplace on remote thermostat made it easy to keep the living room and kitchen warm and cosy. Nice wrap around deck to enjoy the outside amongst the trees. Short walk across the road to the slopes. Lars was quite nice and helpful with local tips, and generous with a nice welcome gift. Overall an excellent time we had with our teen children, with plenty of space for everyone. We miss it already!

I relaxed and comfortable place away from the hustle and bustle. We only stayed the night but I can imagine that a few days here with hiking and skiing would be a nice getaway.

I stayed here with my husband and celebrated a romantic and mind opening experience together thanks to the staff at Lotus Mountain. We had never stayed at this type of retreat but it won’t be our last. The place was filled with plants, beautiful fireplace in entrance, fireplace in our room, yoga studio, jacuzzi, sauna, and they had breakfasts and dinners for a small charge which happened to be vegan!!! We had the best couples massage by Lindsey and Michael! Daveed made us feel so welcome and we had many great conversations. Deborah was the master chef. She had such a great energy to her and made us feel great. Her food was top notch and she always made sure we were full and had everything we needed. This was more than just a stay at a hotel it was an experience and I think if you arrive with an open mind and kind heart you will find that this place rocks! Thanks again!

This place was perfect for a relaxing ski trip. There are fire places in the rooms and also a huge/welcoming fire place in the lobby where we found ourselves every night. The hot tub and sauna were clean. The music playing in the lobby was always great. There were multiple seating areas to relax and admire the views. There is also a yoga studio open all the time. When the timberline lift is running, you can walk to the ski slope from the parking lot. When its not running, its a 45 second drive to the lodge. It would be walkable if the road weren't snow covered. We will be back again :-)

This house was a wonderful place for our family and our friends for our annual ski vacation together. The combination of convenience to the slopes, a beautiful, private setting, great space to hang out as a group, and great value made for a perfect getaway. Kim is great to work with- communication was clear and timely, and we had no issues at all during our stay. Happy to have found this gem.

There was a stream running just in front of the house which is my favorite! The house is clean, spacious and full of lovely decors. The house has a really cool, cabin-like feel. It’s both cozy and spacious. Bolton Valley is a fantastic family mountain. It wasn’t quite as easy to ski in/ski out as we hoped, but it was super easy to drive down to the lodges if necessary. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

We had an great at Tim's place. Plenty of snow, good skiing, and nice evening cooking and hanging out. The house is rustic transitional style we felt at home.

Very clean and well designed property. Even though it was early season we were able to ski in and out but it is a short walk to the trail. Good location to visit other ski areas with many dining choices within a reasonable distance.

Quaint, secluded and a perfect getaway!

Beautifully appointed, spacious lodge with a bunk room and full bath on the main floor and two bedrooms and a bath on the second floor. Two living rooms and an open kitchen lend to lots of conversations, dance parties, etc. during family reunions. Long front porch was so relaxing. My family will hold special memories of our time in this special place. The beams in the master bedroom and the skylights with a close up view of the stars stand out in my memory.

Tim and Vicky were very easy to get in contact with and were always so helpful! It was the perfect spot for my friends and I to reconnect after years of being apart!

Amazing location to explore Burlington and the hiking spaces in the area. The entire house was clean and comfy—it felt loved and very comfortable. Had all the appliances we needed to cook our own meals and an amazing view of the sunset from the side deck overlooking the mountain peaks. The host are great and super responsive.

Bolton Valley has long been one of our favorite mountains with lots of options for young and older families. The location is great and the condo's space is thoughtfully laid out. It made for a great visit for three generations of our family members. Mitch was also a super host and answered questions quickly.

BEST AIR BNB EXPERIENCE! Sonya and Mike are truly superhosts. Their hospitabiliy was amazing, felt just like being at home. They had it all; great communication, an amazing place, a walking distance from the slope place and great cook. They even accompanied us to the slopes and took us to our first black diamond slope experience, it went great! If your visiting Vermont, do not doubt to stay with them.

This was my first AirBnB experience and I was completely blown away by the hospitality of Sonya and Mike (and of course Max, their dog). They were very flexible with our late arrival since our brewery tour had run a little late and we got stuck in traffic through Waterbury. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sonya who gave us a tour of their property and of their room. We were pleased to find out that she had left us a 4-pack of her favorite brew in the mini-fridge. Since we had discussed beforehand some of our plans we were also provided coffee, tea, nuts, energy bars and some baby food for our son. This level of care and hospitality is unheard of for me. The following morning, Sonya made us a delicious & hearty breakfast that prepared us for a day of hiking. Mike suggested some trails in the area and provided us with a trail map to the lookout. The view was amazing and we got some great pictures and drone footage of the surrounding area. We had a great relaxing weekend and would highly recommend their place to anyone travelling in the area be it for brewery tours, enjoying a peaceful hike or just getting away from the city. We hope to stay again soon!

Sonya, Mike and their pooch Max could not have been better hosts! We were in town attending a wedding and from the moment we arrived we felt like it was an extension of our home. Sonya and Mike are fantastic hosts. First off, their communication was perfect. Approval for our stay was nearly immediate, followed by a request to better understand how they may serve us. Nice! We chose their bnb due to its near proximity to UVM as this was Parent's weekend. It was a 30 minute drive to UVM. With this in mind, Sonya asked if we would enjoy a hosted, full breakfast and/or needed any information on the area and/or anything they could do to make our stay comfortable. To have such a communication before we met our host is extremely nice. And when we arrived, they continued with setting the bar high. We arrived on Friday evening, somewhat in a rush to get to our son. They were inviting, warm, sharing and completely understood our priority. It was lovely to met them both and they understood when we left a bit abruptly to get to our son. The extra amenity we requested was fresh cream for our morning coffee. And fresh cream was in the suite's refrigerator along with plenty of snacks on the counter. They have a beautiful home, open floor plan, beautiful exposed wood beams and wood floors. Sonya and Mike keep their home spotless, completely spotless. We could learn a lesson from them! They have a beautiful (older) lab, Max ... very well behaved. And you might not notice Max unless you wanted to interact with him. We returned back to home-base late on Friday night and retired to our suite. On Saturday morning, I had the choice of making my own fresh coffee or joining our hosts. Of course, I joined our hosts! Such nice people. Again we were gone for most of the day and returned on Saturday evening. We were greeted and asked (again) if we needed anything whatsoever. It was a long day so we preferred to retired to our suite. On Sunday morning, we woke up, enjoyed coffee in our suite, caught up briefly with our hosts and left for UVM. Would we stay with them again? Yes, definitely so. It is their home and they embody "mi casa su casa". And we felt completely at home in their home. Thank you so much for welcoming us to Vermont!

While we missed meeting Sonya, we had a wonderful stay nonetheless. The house is like our future dream house in the woods, cozy, but with tons of space. Sonya constantly checked in on us, making sure we were comfortable and to see if we had any questions. She even left us an awesome basket of local snacks and beers! The house was extremely clean, easy to find, had all the amenities you could need. It was also a 2 minute walk to the ski resort, which had a bunch of cool hikes. Large backyard which was perfect for our dog ! Thank you so much for having us over the weekend! Can't wait to come back soon.
