This is a beautiful, brand-new cabin in a quiet wooded setting with nature trails in historic Mesopotamia, Ohio. We are about 45 minutes from Youngstown and Cleveland. Amenities include coffee, tea, milk, juice, soda, cereals, snacks, pancake mix, and even maple syrup gathered in our own local woods for your enjoyment. Relax and unwind at the end of the day in our whirlpool for two. Or sit on the porch and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of nature. Continental breakfast only.
This is an ideal place for honeymoons, anniversaries, or just some quiet get away time.
Nearly all of the homes in historic Mesopotamia are century homes. Be sure to visit End of the Commons General store in Mespo for hand-dipped ice cream, penny candy, fudge and lots more. This is in the heart of Amish country and there are several cheese houses, Amish stores, and much more to visit.
  • This cabin is as lovely as it looks. It’s set away in the woods for privacy, and is a quiet, calm retreat. The amenities were great, too. Thank you for such a great stay!

    Alyssa2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Not only is this Cabin Beautiful and in a tranquil setting, it was soo clean and the little touches that were there made our stay even more sweet. Best stay we have had in awhile.

  • This cabin is even nicer than expected! It is very clean and decorated beautifully! The hot tub was much larger than we expected, and is directly across from the TV/fireplace, which was awesome! We loved the privacy of the place and can’t wait to return!

This is a lovely, tall house on 2.3 acres in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is cavernous and the living room and bedrooms are warm and comfortable. It will be impeccably cleaned and made-up when you arrive. It is among 23 beautiful wineries, 15 minutes from Lake Erie, and just a 3-minute drive from Route 90 which will take you into Cleveland.
We have done a lot to upgrade the property such as a new state of the art heating and cooling system, new paint, new carpeting, and a handful of personal touches. The driveway and landscaping has recently been repaired and beautified. The rooms are cozy, the kitchen is large, and the beds are comfortable. It is a relaxing and peaceful place to be. Hi-speed wifi is available. Netflix and Amazon Prime are available on both televisions in the house. A washer and dryer are available for your use. Shampoo, Conditioner, and soap are also available. We have cleaned out our closets and drawers to make room for you. Coffee with creamer and sugar is also available in the kitchen. You will find some imperfections well as we continue to make improvements.
Nice, quiet and very private, family-friendly neighborhood. The home is within 3 minutes of Route 90, 4 minutes from Spire Institute, within a 5-15 minute drive from about 26 wineries, within a short jog of the idyllic Harpersfield covered bridge. While it is in the countryside, you will not be far from civilization. You are 2 left turns and one right turn from Route 90 and can travel to Cleveland in 45 minutes. Downtown Geneva is just 8 minutes away, and the larger Madison, which has everything from Walmart to lots of tasty restaurants is another 8 minutes from there. Grand River Academy is 6 minutes away. Also, you are just a 20-minute country drive from Amish Country. It is the 4th largest Amish community in the country. There is an outstanding restaurant in nearby Austinburg called "The Butcher, The Farmer, And The Chef. A recent article in MarketWatch describes Geneva as the No.#1 "off-the-beaten-path" winery area in the country. See the article here For those interested in the wineries, see this article from MarketWatch: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/10-wine-towns-off-the-beaten-path-2019-08-19 See this video about the covered bridges in the area. https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/ohio/route-covered-bridges-scenic-drive-oh/

  • Great place to hang out with friends and family. Perfect location to visit local wineries.

    Robin2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Location, location, location! If your looking for a cozy warm home in the winter, a home close to the Spire institute or a home to stay while vineyard hopping.... you have found the place. This house is extremely clean and organized. No odors! It has everything you would need. I would suggest a larger coffee maker because the coffee maker is a mini coffee maker. There were multiple flat screen TV’s - although we didn’t have time for TV. The price point is perfect and location is key! We will be back next year!

    Maureen2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • House was great and only minutes from wineries. Would love to come up during the summer to utilize the back patio and fire pit sometime.

The Old Postal Cottage, built in the 1840s, was the Parkman post office until mid 2018. It was completely renovated, and it is now a tiny house, located within an Amish community in Northeast Ohio. It has a private entrance, and is a cozy space, perfect for a getaway in the country, with access to all major roads and an easy commute to Cleveland, Youngstown, Akron, and many tourist attractions.
The residence was completely renovated in 2018. The space has all modern amenities, including microwave oven, convection/toaster oven, induction cooktop, refrigerator/freezer, coffeemaker, electric kettle, purified water, cookware and utensils. Guests who wish to prepare meals may do so in the kitchenette. Coffee, tea, and snacks are provided, along with continental breakfast items, including the cottage's own exclusive granola. Extra towels, blankets, and toiletries are provided for guests' convenience. The design and furnishings reflect the unique history of the cottage and the community.
Geauga County has attractions that make it a destination for visitors: two cheese factories, many Amish owned small businesses, an antique mall, beautiful county parks, historic small towns, the oldest store in Ohio, a rich tradition in the maple syrup industry, local auctions and farmers' markets, miles of paved bicycle paths, and unique craft shops. The area has some of the world's best walleye and steelhead fishing in Lake Erie and its tributaries. Many vineyards and wineries and a few distilleries are within a short drive. Several convenience stores are within an easy walk or drive. Other stores, restaurants, and coffee shops are a 10-15 minute drive from the cottage.
  • This place is absolutely fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone. The hosts are super hospitable and absolutely wonderful. The price is fantastic. Totally worth the stay!

    Garrett2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is AMAZING! Not too many places where you can stay in a circa 1840 post office! Joe and Dorrie have done an incredible job restoring this historical treasure. The place was sparkling clean, charming, and Dorrie even provides snacks and breakfast. She is quick and excellent at communicating and is a great hostess. Highly recommend. We can't wait to return. (note, you can google to see the coverage they did on local TV that talks about the history and renovation of the place)

    David2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Old Postal Cottage was fantastic! We so enjoyed our time there! It is located very centrally and was easy to access. There is a nice Dollar General just 3 minutes up the road. It's not far from Blazin Bill's restaurant or the Welshfield Inn. The space was cozy. There were 2 adults and 2 children. I shared the full sized bed with my 6 year old. My 2 year old slept in the pack and play and my mother in law on the pull out sofa. All the beds were very comfortable. The house is well stocked with a lot of the things you could need. There are many breakfast options for you to eat. You have the ability to cook. I'm not sure that you could do anything in depth, but we made a soup just fine, and eggs and ham for breakfast with no issues. The bathroom is spacious and very beautiful. The whole house is wonderfully decorated! There were games and books to enjoy and a TV with Netflix. The place was perfect. The host was very nice and accommodating, and we so so enjoyed our stay! We will most certainly be staying here again. It was definitely as hidden gem for us!!

    Cassandra2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • What a creative and unique gem!! An impressive renovation masterpiece!! So clean; beautifully, tastefully decorated; well-kept; and thoughtfully stocked with a variety of edibles, comforts of home and other extras for beverage and food preparation. We knew as declared super hosts we could expect a pleasing experience! And that we did experience! Very pleasant, cozy and private with hosts available if/as needed. Add this cute place to your Airbnb visits!

    Wendy2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The Old Postal Cottage is so charming and unique. The renovation leaves the cottage refreshed and current, but still feels historic and authentic. The owners include so many thoughtful touches including house slippers, snacks, extra blankets, a photo book detailing the renovation of the cottage. There were even pre-stamped post cards with a picture of cottage on to send to loved ones. The furnishings were comfortable and the cottage was clean and truly had everything we could have possibly needed. I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone considering it. The hosts truly anticipate and provide everything you need to have a wonderful getaway. Thank you!

  • A fun place to stay with history and a great location. I loved the shower!

    Matthew2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • AMAZING. Never did I think I wanted to spend time in a post office until this Airbnb and then I did not want to leave!! It’s the cutest place, so cozy, just perfect. Can not recommend it enough. It really is one of those epic Airbnb’s you’ll be glad you had the chance to stay in! Some have commented about the noise - Dorrie provided a white noise machine which we never needed or used, we didn’t notice any road noise at all and the bed is so comfy you will fall right asleep!

    Caitlin2019-12-28T00:00:00Z

  • Very accommodating and great communication! Did their very best to make sure we were comfortable! Great people, great stay!

    Jessica2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff’s place was great; just as described. The jacuzzi was an awesome touch as well as the sparkling cider and juices left for us. I do think that he should note that the water in the suite is well water. I am a city girl and it never occurred to be that the water would be different. It’s not a deal breaker but it was an awkward realization. The sulfur smell of the water was a lot for me since I’ve never experienced it so we ended up only using the jacuzzi the first night and waiting to shower again when we got home. Other than that, the space was clean and cute. Jeff was incredibly responsive and never bothered us. I think this is an awesome mini getaway!

    Aliea2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay. Were never bothered. Can leave as you please. Cute room.

    Hunter2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time staying at Jeff’s home! We love it very comfortable and clean. We will definitely be coming back!

    Rudy & Kim2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • This romantic getaway was exactly what I had hoped for. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful and relaxing, and the room was warm and cozy. If you plan on staying here, I recommend arriving in the daylight, as the rural roads are a bit bumpy, and it can be difficult to find the right turn off in the dark.

    Em2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff’s place was cozy, relaxing, clean and a nice bargain for our one night stay in the area to see a concert!!

    John2020-01-30T00:00:00Z

  • Perfect for our budget. Carmen was aa great host. The home gave us relatively quick access to the Holden Arboretum and other places we planned to visit in Lake County. Home was very clean. Cats were very friendly. It snowed on our last day but the roads near her place were promptly cleared and gave us no trouble. Would definitely recommend for budget travelers.

Cabin retreat in the Village of West Farmington. This 400 sq. ft. A-Frame cabin is perfect for a weekend away from the city to relax, rejuvenate, and rest. The cabin is situated in a small, friendly community in the heart of Amish country. You'll appreciate the community, but have plenty of privacy during your stay. The welcoming nature of the cabin is immediately apparent when you walk in - the wood-burning stove, the exposed beams throughout, and the many small details will draw you in to your weekend home! The cabin is on 1 acre of land with plenty of space to be outside. Grab some blackberries, raspberries, or any of the wildflowers that bloom around the cabin! We also provide yoga mats and various props so you can elevate your calmness during your stay. There are many “attractions” nearby: Amish Country, Middlefield, Western Reserve Greenway (bike path), antique shopping, Nelson Kennedy Ledges State Park, Holden Arboretum, Burton Village, Welshfield Inn, and Mosquito Lake. **WINTER GUESTS** The cabin is heated by the wood burning stove. There's a LOT of pre-cut, seasoned wood there for you to use, but if you're not confident in starting and keeping a fire going in the wood burning stove, we suggest getting some fire starting material. There are a few space heaters around the cabin that you can use, too, but the wood burning stove produces plenty of heat once it has a solid fire going in it.
The quaint Village of West Farmington and surrounding towns provide a picturesque landscape for your retreat. You'll pass many farms, Amish buggies, horse farms, and wonderful little produce shops. Downtown Burton is only minutes away and is the very definition of small-town charm. If you're coming for an event at The Place at 534, you're a short 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk away!
  • We loved our stay at The Triangle!! It was the perfect cozy getaway and everything we needed was supplied. We were grateful for the optional heater since it took us a while to get a good fire going. There were a lot of nice little touches - a bluetooth speaker, pour-over coffee, and trail bars, just to mention a few. We went hiking at the nearby Nelson Ledges, which is beautiful even in the winter. Also, if you like barbeque, Cockeye BBQ is about 12 miles away and delicious. We didn't want to leave when the time came and can't wait until we can visit this cute cabin again!

    Angela2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our night at The Triangle. It had the loveliest family touches and we felt like we were staying at a friend's house rather than a stranger's. It was exactly what we needed for our night away!

    Whitney2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • You will find a simple yet perfect getaway in this place. It had all you need plus a few extra touches in games, books, fun maps and lights. This was the cutest A frame. Elijah was super quick and clear in communication and accommodating as best as he could. Easy to check-in/out and easy to find. I highly recommend Elijah and this A Frame.

    Melissa2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • The A frame was a wonderful get away! The place is cozy and intimate. We loved our stay!!

*Hemlock Hideaway is closed for the season and will reopen April 1st. If you're seriously interested in a winter stay, please message me and we can chat -Lisa* This primitive cabin nestled in the woods overlooking the Grand River is a nature-lover's paradise! Come canoe, fish, experience wine country, or unplug and just get away from it all. Please note: There is no running water or electricity at the site, but the cabin is generator-ready and there is an outhouse. See below for more details.
The cabin does have a wood burning stove for heat and simple cooking, however there is no running water or electricity. That being said, the building is wired and has plugs and outlets and is generator-ready. You provide your own generator and fuel. We provide bottled water, sheets, pillows, flashlights, a coleman lantern and fuel, a fire ring with cooking grate, charcoal grill (you provide the charcoal), access to firewood, and an outhouse with toilet paper. Our 1/4 mile of Grand River frontage can be accessed right outside the cabin door via a quick hike down the hillside. If hiking isn't preferred, then a quick two-minute drive will take you to the Harpersfield Covered Bridge Metropark - a favorite of local fishermen. Bigger groups with tents are welcome, but will need to bring all supplies beyond what we provide for 3-4 guests.
The cabin is a quick two-minute drive to the Harpersfield Covered Bridge Metropark - a favorite among local fishermen, canoers, and kayakers. The cabin is also literally surrounded by 20 wineries and a distillery. Geneva-on-the-Lake and beautiful Lake Erie are also popular travel destinations.
  • Excellent little getaway, tucked just far enough into the treeline to be remote and private. Beautiful river views. This is the tiny cabin getaway you've been waiting for!

    Emma2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa and Patrick were very responsive and accommodating during our stay. Quaint and private cabin near wineries and a distillery.

    Lindsey2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a quaint cabin tucked in the woods. Perfect for the ultimate camping experience, without the hassle of setting up a tent. The wood burning stove was fun to use to start a fire. The house heated up immediately, and stayed warm throughout the night without us having to keep the fire going. The beds are bunks and located at the very top of the cabin, so it was easy to stay warm with the rising heat. It was a rainy night, but we made the most of it. Beds were reasonably comfortable. The outhouse was very clean and the compost eliminated any sort of scent. We felt very safe overall. Will definitely be back!

    Nicholas2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is exactly what you want if you are looking to get away from it all and have a nice night in nature! The cabin is nice and cozy, there is plenty of firewood, and nice woods to hike in. The beds are very comfortable and all of the amenities they provide add another level of comfort. Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a night to unplug!

    Cameron2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice to get away. We enjoyed our stay.

    Alex2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Fun little hidden gem.

    Melissa2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was absolutely perfect for our needs! We love camping but since we were traveling by air, we couldn’t bring our full compliment of gear. Hemlock Hideaway was much larger than I expected! The composting outhouse was a lot more pleasant than going in the woods! The additional touches of drinking water, firewood, matches, and comfy bedding made our stay delightful! I would encourage a potential guest to read the description thoroughly, to ensure the cabin will meet your needs as well as it did ours!!

    Kelly2019-10-11T00:00:00Z

We furnish: towels; soaps; bedding; a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom; a t.v. that gets some channels); Netfix and Amazon for access to your account and free Wi-Fi. Copy/fax is available.
The Cabin was originally an octangular pool house built to accompany a cement pool that was built in the 1920's by a businessman from Warren, Ohio who owned the property. Over time, it has been converted to the Ledgerock Cabin. Take a look at the posted pictures to see if you think we might be a good match for you.
There is a great rib/chicken restaurant nearby named Blazin' Bill's. The Welshfield Inn, The Smith, and Warren's restaurants (take a look at their websites for menus) are approximately 15-20 minutes from us. There is a walking trail through the woods within 5 minutes of us and there are many more parks in the area as is Nelson's Ledges. We are centrally located with easy access to: Burton; Middlefield; Solon; Garrettesville; Hiram and Chardon.
  • Cathy’s place exceeded all expectations. Her cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing and inspiring getaway, complete with jaw dropping views and incredible comfort. We started planning our next stay there about 5 minutes after arriving! Book this place! Thanks Cathy!

  • This is truly a special place to stay! We had a very relaxing and great time. The cabin was spotless and cozy. We loved the views from all sides and being so enveloped in nature was just what we were looking for. Thank you for sharing your special space with us. A word of advice, since the cabin is tucked away between 3 roads the GPS doesn’t really locate it correctly. We stopped a road over and some locals helped us find it. Suggest getting specific instructions from Kathy, especially if you’re arriving after dark. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Cathy’s place was clean and beautiful. She helped me with a couple special requests of mine and was very nice about it. It was a joy meeting her and her partner in passing by coincidence. A fantastic place to stay. Calming and away from people. Hoping to see y’all again.

  • We had an amazing stay! We didn’t land until after midnight and arrived close to 2am. Cathy called to guide us on the correct road and made sure everything was ok. The cabin was a cool little the place and the view was amazing! I’d highly recommend staying here.

  • We had a wonderful stay. Being secluded in the peaceful woods was a much needed break. We listened to the river and birds just outside the windows. We traveled to wineries and antique shops. The place is very clean and had no problems. Cathy is a great host! We will definitely stay again.

    Mike2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Charming and relaxing with amazing views inside and out! We loved it and plan to come back.

    Julie2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place is fantastic! Cathy is a very hospitable host. This little lodge is out of the way and feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. The views down to the water from the cabin are delightful. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could think of to cook with and make coffee and tea and just be in your own home. It’s a nice quiet relaxing place that I highly recommend to anyone who is just needing to get away and hang your hat in a quiet place. Cathy was really fantastic with communication and asked us when we got there if we needed anything. Super great place and worth all 5 stars and then some.

  • This place felt too good to be true... but it's for real! The scenery is fantastic (rare to be told by your host that the views are actually better from the inside... and they were!), the place is so unique, and it's close to a lot of outdoor and Amish country spots. Google maps took us to the wrong spot at first but Kathy was very helpful and even drove to the gas station to lead us to the right spot. I am local-ish and this was a perfect getaway spot to feel close to home but also on vacation. We brought kayaks and kayaked in Ladue Reservoir. We ... and our friends ... will be back again and again!

This is a log cabin nestled in the woods, adjacent to East Branch Reservoir, in the heart of Amish community. Enjoy a quiet, peaceful walk in the woods or relax in the hot tub while taking in nature. Take a short drive to Middlefield where you can experience the amish way of life, with fresh baked goods, jams and jellies, handcrafted furniture and beautiful quilts. HIstoric Burton and Chardon are also only minutes away or take a 30 minute drive to Geneva's wine country.
  • Loved our getaway from the city here! Made a fire, relaxed in the hot tub, played board games all night. The kitchen has everything and more that you'd need. You can tell there is a lot of love in this property; the beautiful array of indoor plants, the neat art, the antiques- there was something to admire around every corner. I only wish we had brought our dogs to enjoy it too!

    Rita2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed the solitude and privacy of the cabin and the outdoors. Sadly I got bombed in a snow storm and couldn't enjoy any hiking or the outdoors. I would have preferred a king size bed to sleep in. Chris was a great host and I appreciate how well equipped the kitchen was with extras for cooking. Thank you.

  • Fantastic place for a couples getaway! Great host, quaint and charming house!

    Amanda2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Where to even start!? *(Long review but worth it! 🤣)* First and foremost, such a cute cabin in an awesome location! The privacy is amazing. The property is surrounded by woods and nature - absolutley beautiful. The birds are in full force in the area and it's incredible to hear them all "talking!" The driveway is a bit intense!! I recommend not using a smaller car if possible BUT you totally can. Our little old Jetta handled it quite well! The cabin itself is wonderful and spacious - full of old decor, gorgeous views, fun murals, warm touches, & beautiful plants! Also many extra touches - the wood burner was ready to go, there was a s'mores kit in the fridge, tons and tons of kitchen items just waiting to be used, & even toys/leashes/treats for your pup!!! They definitely care about us, the renters! The deck is absolutely amazing. Our favorite part! It's beautiful, so spacious and so much fun... between the checkers, porch swing, grill & hot tub - there is something for everyone! The walk from the yard to the reservoir is a nice, easy, & beautiful walk. It does get quite muddy tho (it rained one whole day of our trip) so just be prepared for getting dirty at times! Middlefield is about 10 minutes away and so much fun! Worth going to & checking out the local stores and attractions! Got so many great trinkets, cheeses, and treats. *NOW!* My only negatives toward the trip was the bed and water! The bed was small. Between us 2 adults and one very needy large dog it was a very tight squeeze! The water, oh man that was rough for my wife. Lol. It is very sulfury, at times a bit overwhelming BUT they do have a water cooler so besides washing dishes and showering you don't have to use it!!!! Overall this property is so darn great! Everything we hoped it would be and so much more. Definitely worth every penny!! Cant wait to possibly go back next

    Mike2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • You have to see it for yourself to believe it. The place and setting is gorgeous, private and peaceful. Have to stay longer next time!

    Kathleen2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to get away. We enjoyed the property and the nearby community and shops. We'd go back.

    Michael2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Love, love, loved it! What an amazing house! Was exactly what we were looking for in every aspect. Had everything we needed and then some! Enjoyed taking a dip in the hot tub under the stars and walking through the woods to the lake. Perfectly secluded and private. We’ll definitely be back!

    Christopher2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Perfect location hidden away in amish country. Cozy and warm with all the amenities you could ask for. Thanks for sharing!

  • This is a comfortable cabin with a well-equipped kitchen in a beautiful, quiet setting. I would recommend it to anyone for a restful vacation. We've stayed twice and were very pleased both times.

    Nancy2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our "unplugged" vacation! We have a 13 year old boy, 9 year old boy, and 4 year old girl who are obsessed with technology and they had a BLAST outside in the field and fishing. The evenings are quiet and the fishing is wonderful - our 9 year old caught 21 fish in one sitting! I definitely recommend this cabin for fishing and family time. The hosts are great, they're extremely understanding and get back to you quickly! If we come back to the area, I know where we are staying!

The house was nice and warm and the sidewalks were kept cleared. Chris called me during our stay to make sure all was well. It worked out great!!

Private, rustic 2 bedroom cabin with full kitchen amenities. If you want to enjoy quiet time away from the busyness of life, this cabin will be a great fit. Spend the day fishing, canoeing, or hiking. There are many great spaces to enjoy family time. Have meals on the screened in porch or stay up telling stories around the fire pit together. The cabin overlooks a 32 acre spring fed lake that is surrounded by woods and pasture that is grazed by beef cattle.
The property has a wide variety of wildlife, including beaver, eagles, herons, and many other furry and feathered friends. The lake has a plethra of bluegill, crappie, large and small mouth bass, catfish and is great for fishing. The cabin has a full kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, and coffee pot. It is stocked with a variety of pots, pans and dishware. The bathroom has a stand up shower with no bathtub. Most of the property, with the exception of directly around the cabin and an area for swimming, is grazed by beef cattle. There is a locked gate at the entrance to the cabin that must stay shut at all times for the cattle. The mother cows and calves will rarely come near you and it is important that they are left alone, but they are fun to watch.
The cabin is in the center of quiet country farmland.
  • A great place to get away from a busy lifestyle. It was relaxing and private. You could make the weekend what ever you want. Lots of places to visit or stay at the cabin and enjoy your friends and family.

    Connie2019-09-22T00:00:00Z

  • Had an amazing time at the cabin for a quick weekend getaway! Came here with a group of friends and everyone loved spending a few days in the woods at the end of summer. We enjoyed exploring the property, late night campfires, and taking the row boats out as well! Kelly greeted us upon our arrival and made the stay very easy for us. Would highly recommend!

    Davis2018-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome, a truly unique experience. The cabin is about 3/4 a mile from the entrance and you are truly away from it all. The lake is great for fishing and the provided boats are great for accessing some better parts of the lake. Plenty and I mean plenty of room to move around, hike, play, etc. The hosts are great and respond to anything quickly.

    Mike2018-08-18T00:00:00Z

    Kay2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect a secure, clean, comfortable stay at a very reasonable price if you book at Carmen’s place! I usually book an entire property but none were available, so I booked with Carmen and spent two nights in a private bedroom in her home. I wasn’t sure what to expect ... but Carmen was very welcoming and we had a nice conversation when I arrived. It was very clean and comfortable. I had two great nights of sleep in the comfy bed. Her family was very quiet during my stay and I wasn’t really aware there was any one else in the house. A key to the front door and your bedroom will be available to you. Nice country setting that I won’t hesitate to visit again!

  • I arranged this trip for my older mother to visit old friends. She had many nice things to say upon her return today. Her time at Carmen’s home was very pleasant and comfortable. She enjoyed the other guests and Carmen’s warm hospitality. The views from her home are lovely as is the setting. It was a comfort to me to know my mother was safe and comfortable. Thank you to Carmen and Air B@B .

    Kimberly2019-08-06T00:00:00Z

  • This was my first time utilizing Airbnb. I was extremely nervous and reluctant about staying in a strangers house, especially if they are currently in the home while I’m staying there. However, Tom and Nancy made everything so smooth and the atmosphere was more than welcoming. I was able to use their pots and pans, have coffee in the morning and wash my clothes. The room was quite and decorated so well like something off of HGTV. The pictures don’t do it any justice. It’s clean, smells nice, with just the right amount of personal touches. I felt right at home. If I’m ever back in the area, I will definitely stay with Tom and Nancy again.

***ALL PROFITS SUPPORT THE HORSES OF PERIDOT EQUINE SANCTUARY*** The rustic decor and well lit space reflects the nature of our horse farm & sanctuary, where you can stay for a peaceful country getaway. We're rural, but you'll still have easy access to lots of amenities in the wonderful nearby town of Chardon, less than 10 minutes away. Cleveland itself, currently going through a "rustbelt renaissance" is only about 45 minutes minutes West. We welcome guests of all backgrounds!
Complete one bedroom, one bath apartment attached to our home. The unit has its own garage and private entrance, washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, range/oven, 2 basin sink, plates, glasses, silverware, cookware, coffee maker, microwave). It also has a fenced in side yard for your dogs, with door access through the laundry room. We're a dog friendly property! There's a wood burning stove, with plenty of wood in the garage and front side yard. There's also a small deck off the back door, with a view of the barn and some pastures.
We're technically in Hambden Township, just outside of Chardon, OH. Chardon was at one point voted one of the most livable small towns in the US. It's managed to preserve some beautiful historic buildings and features on the square, with great restaurants, antique shops and even a small theater. It also has access to many amenities of a small city, such as four chain grocery stories a major pet supply store and others. There's also nearby Middlefield, the fourth largest Amish community in the US. Burton, with wonderful local restaurants and the Geauga county parks district with little gems dotted across the county. One of the best parks, Girdled Road Reservation, is a five minute drive from our property.
  • Super cute place. We stayed there a couple if weeks while our new home Gets built. The owners Very friendly. The outdoors is amazing. Great place to stay if you have a dog.

  • It is a lovely country-style guest suite in a wonderful location. It is so fun to see their horses roaming in the pasture right by the house. Only about 10 minutes to Chardon, and there are several beautiful parks close by. The house and location is exactly as described. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future!

  • Beautiful little country oasis! Perfect for those traveling with a 🐶 dog! A quant horse sanctuary filled with homey touches. Clean and thoughtful layout. We even got to meet the horses on site. Jason and Lindsay were quick to answer any questions and very nice.

    Tara2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second time staying at Lindsay’s place. It’s a hidden gem, halfway along our road trip from NYC to Chicago and it’s pet friendly too. The apartment is sparkling clean, and super cozy. We have friends in the area who stopped by, and we enjoyed chatting in the living room by the wood fire until late in the evening. Best of all, proceeds go to support a horse sanctuary, and we absolutely loved waking up to the site of these gorgeous animals. We will definitely be back.

    Stefan2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • We were very happy to find such a great place to stay with our fur kids. There was a laundry room/mud room with a door that opened out to a fenced in area for our dogs. Lindsay had the garage door open for us when arrived so we were able to pull in and shut the door before we let our dogs out of the car. It was awesome having a garage with an opener! Pulled right in on cold, windy, snowy nights and shut the door before we got out. A big plus was the woodburner with kindling and firewood. Nice and cozy on Thanksgiving evening. Nice views of the gorgeous horses and the property. Lindsay is very welcoming and the space had all the amenities for a good stay. We love that this airbnb helps support her rescue efforts.

Beautiful tiny house/lake cabin on the Grand River, with 1.5 acre swimming and fishing pond that has a water trampoline, kayaks, and zip line. Within 5 miles of spectacular wineries and famous covered bridges. Bike trail only 1/2 mile away. Sleeps 5 comfortably and has option for tent camping around the pond. This is the place to stay to enjoy a private getaway that can be relaxing and fun!
Cabin is equipped with solar power, which is great for charging phones and running a fan at night. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE ELECTRICITY. Sometimes prior guests accidentally plug something in that uses up all the solar power. If you need more power, feel free to bring a generator. We do have a generator that is available, but you would need to be responsibly for purchasing and filling it with gas. We do have a small compact mini (really tiny) fridge in the cabin that works with the solar power, but we would recommend using the extra large outside cooler (which can hold 4 days worth of food and drinks). For a bathroom, we have a port-a-potty with a non potable water sink. Most enjoy bathing in the pond. Guests must bring their own linens (queen sized sheets and blanket needed for the main bed), pillows, sleeping bags, towels, life jackets, and anything else you would need for camping and cooking outdoors. Staying at the Grand River Tiny House/Lake Cabin is where families make memories for a lifetime. Children and adults have so many adventures, but given the zip line, water trampoline, and other activities, guests who stay here agree to use all water and land activities on the property at their own risk. By staying on the property, guests agree to not hold us liable for any injuries or accidents. We recommend all children under 12 years of age wear life jackets while swimming. Pets are allowed outside of the cabin and on the property, but due to allergies, no pets are allowed in the lake cabin please.
Minutes from fabulous wineries and beautiful covered bridges. Lake Erie and the fun town of Geneva-on-the-Lake within 10-15 drive from cabin. There is also a well maintained bike path, the Western Reserve Greenway, a 1/2 mile from the cabin. We get asked what wineries we like the best and honestly we love them all. Here’s what we like about just a few: Laurentia – Newer winery that is beautiful and has small plates of great food. Lakehouse Inn – On Lake Erie and has the best food, hands down. Great place for anniversaries or special occasions. Ferrante’s – Great restaurant that has huge selection of both sweet, dry, and ice wines, also live music. Debonne’s – Family friendly (our kids love the real wine bottles of grape juice), great appetizers, love the wine flights, sangria, and homemade beer, outdoor grilled food, and great music. We go here a lot when we haven’t showered in a couple days.  They also have hot air balloon rides every other weekend during the summer. Some days dogs are allowed too. Laurello’s – Closest to us and has great flat breads, salads, wines, and live music. M Cellar’s – Great location as close to lots of wineries, great appetizers, and across the street from Red Eagle Distillery South River Vineyard – An old church with a beautiful patio overlooking the vineyards. No food, but you can bring your own. Kosicek Vineyards – Has ice cream wine. Grand River Cellars – Our favorite place to go when everywhere else is closed as they serve a large food menu late into the night and have good wine. Old Firehouse Winery – On Lake Erie in the heart of Geneva on the Lake, kids like the fire truck, throwing rocks in Lake Erie, has bar food. Other things to consider doing in the area: Checking out the covered bridges Going to one of the nearby orchards or farmer markets Kayaking down the Grand River Going to Geneva on the Lake (Putt putt, arcades, boardwalk food, Lake Erie) Bike trails

  • We had a great time!

    Kelly2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • I was traveling to PA to visit property I own out there and needed an inexpensive place to stay last minute. I had tried booking near my property on air B&B at another location but after 5hrs of waiting to hear back from them I had to look again and found Cara's absolute amazing listing! I needed a place quick, it was Sunday evening at 7pm when I requested to stay, fingers crossed. Within 5min of my request Cara had not only answered me back but pre-approval was granted and within 15min after my request I was booked for her property. I arrived at 11pm at night and just needed some basic help with entering the property and the power supply (only because of me, operator errors on my end, lol) so I messaged Cara at 11pm and she was right there, walking me through any and everything I needed! At 11pm!!! Absolute amazing communication. Now for the fun stuff! This place was perfect.....powered by solar and beyond anything I imagined. The tiny home was beautiful, new, clean, super fun. A queen bed on the lower bunk, a queen above that. Above the kitchen area another twin and a very nice couch in the living room area that converted into another full sized bed. Who would have known you can fit that many people in this tiny house?! But it was just me all to myself:) Outside a fire pit and comfy lounge chairs, Kayaks were provided, a canoeand they supplied the fire wood. Out on the water was a trampoline, across the lake was a zipline and the lake was fully stocked with many fish for anyone to have a great time fishing from one of the kayaks. It was truly an honor to be able to stay in such an amazing place I only wish I had my family with me so we could enjoy all these activities. So I'm coming back!

    Kimberly2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • If you love - or even like - camping this spot is fantastic! Clean, convenient and lots to do even if you don’t want to leave the place.

    Melissa2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute tiny cabin, the pond is beautiful ,a water trampoline, zipline across the water, kayaks, and a beautiful pier, you can float from one end of the pond to the other forever, very relaxing...we brought tiki torches and fuel, definitely need them, it is VERY dark ... Couldn't ask for a better camping spot, beautiful , secluded, back to nature area.

    Saundra2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Located in rural Ohio, this tiny cabin is a great getaway with a stay-cation sort of feel. The house manual Cara provides contains everything needed to make your stay fun and easy. From notes about the property to ideas for activities, the manual is your one-stop-shop for questions. Speaking of one-stop-shop, the cabin/property also has everything you need for a memorable visit. From a fully stocked beach (e.g. kayaks, rafts, chairs, etc.) to two different campfire areas to the rope swings and trampoline raft to a beautiful, clean, private pond ... there is no shortage of options for how to spend your day/night. The best advice in the manual is to treat your stay a bit like camping: Yes, you do need to bring food/drinks, ice, linens, and other household/comfort items; however, aside from the small stuff, there is no need to bring books, toys, electronics, etc. Checkout was simple. Again, everything you need to clean up is provided; and, it being a tiny cabin means that it only takes a few minutes. And, remember, the quick bit of cleaning is what makes this place such an attractive and affordable option. Overall, we had a blast! My son already asked if we can go back next year :)

The accommodation is a 2 bedroom cottage on our small farm that has been recently renovated. It is wheel chair accessible. We are in the middle of the fourth largest Amish community in the world. We are half a mile from the center of Mesopotamia, which is known for the End of the Commons General Store and the annual OX roast over the 4th of July. Cleveland and Youngstown are both approximately 45 minutes away. Lake Erie is 30 minutes north.
It has a furnished kitchen with, gas stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, & refrigerator for guests to use, Continental breakfast provided. We are located 5 miles from Middlefield, where you will find a variety of restaurants to choose from. There are also many Amish stores and business in the area.
  • As so many of the reviews I read had stated before I booked and stayed At Little House on the Farm... the accommodations were sparking clean with many thoughtful touches. The continental breakfast was also a lovely touch. It was the perfect respite to enjoy some time to myself during the hectic family holiday season. Thanks James and Anna!

Our 1901 farmhouse is located on 120 acres of fields and forest. During the summer, you might be able to pick tomatoes and raspberries from the front garden, or attend a class. Throughout the year, come to the country to relax, wander the woods, and still be close to downtown Chardon (2 miles away), wine country, and many beautiful local parks. We are about 45 minutes from Cleveland. This agritourism Farm Stay comes with a sample of our Resiliency Tea handcrafted here on the farm.
Although you will walk into a shared downstairs space, you will have private access to the entire upstairs floor of the Farm House. The upstairs unit of the Farm House has three bedrooms, a kitchenette, and a sunroom that can be used as additional living space seasonally. There are great views of woods and fields from the unit.
Try Buckeye Chocolates and Cafe (yummy chocolates and a great lunch menu), Beans for coffee, Element 41 for dinner, or Osso for a local farm-to-table restaurant.
  • We loved our stay at Christine and Michael's place. Lots of space and very comfortable.

  • Great place to stay! Cute farmhouse in Chardon. The space was nice and great for our family. Great communication with Christine and Michael.

    Joe2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • I can’t begin to express how amazing this place and these hosts are! The house is very cute and incredibly clean. We were greeted by the property manager who made sure that we had everything we needed and even built a fire for us and made sure we had extra firewood. Christine allowed us to use the community space to host a small gathering of friends. They were so great about letting us move the furniture a bit and carefully hang some decorations for the gathering. The bedrooms and upstairs space were spotless and comfortable. The property is beautiful! We enjoyed our 24 hours there and wish we would have planned to stay another night! We will definitely be back!

    Laurel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The farmhouse has a lot of historic charm and is out in the country, but close enough to town that goods and restaurants are nearby. It’s very close to many wonderful and scenic parks.

    Eric2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Was a wonderful clean space. Nice and quiet as well.

    Zachary2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Christine and Michael were fantastic hosts. They were very responsive. It snowed quite a bit the night we arrived and they had shoveled and salted the walkway for us. We had reached out to them before arriving to ask about roads and they were very helpful with this too. We have a family with young six kids and the farmhouse fit us perfectly. There were plenty of beds, plenty of blankets, and plenty of towels for the bathroom. Christine and Michael even provided us with a pack-n-play. We would definitely stay there again.

    Andrew2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent experience. We booked around midnight the night of our arrival and the host worked to accommodate us on zero notice. House is full of antiques and charm and location was perfect for our particular needs. Bedding and towels were both very luxurious. House is on well water so expect a slight sulfer smell in the shower, but ample bottled water is provided for drinking and cooking. Don't be put off by sharing the downstairs space with their business. We only saw the host once during our entire four day visit, and even during their busy season the downstairs would only be occasionally occupied during business hours, and even then the upstairs with bathroom and kitchenette is completely private. The most interaction you might have with strangers is the ten feet between the front door and the door to the stairs, and after hours you have the entire house to yourself.

    Franklin2020-01-05T00:00:00Z

Home was built in 1840, originally a stagecoach stop and was listed as a station on the Underground Railroad during the Civil War. Property is listed on the National Historic Register, a horse barn built in 1847. Many of the original aspects are still here & continues to provide provision & rest much as it did for travelers of the past. When one enters the home it seems memories from the past seem to wash over them. People say this is like Grandma's house that I use to go to as a child.
This home was considered a dedicated stop. The coach always stopped , passengers exited the coach,& would come into the house. Either to the Tavern Room, or what is now the Living Room in order to warm up, have a beverage, smoke a cigar/pipe and have a meal. The local people would always come to visit the passengers it was the 1840 version of social media. Much of what happened in the past seems to be a pattern that is repeated.
Still a rural agriculture community. The local winery "The Greene Eagle Winery" is within minuets In nearby Middlefield Ohio is the 4th largest Amish community. This area has several authentic shops, restaurants, & attractions to explore. Even a drive throughout the region always has an experience attached

  • I have a 5-piece band and it’s often difficult to find a place to stay with enough beds for everyone and a guaranteed parking place. Bill & Brenda’s home was perfect on all accounts AND it’s got such cool history as a stage coach stop from the 1840s! They were easy to very communicate with and even stayed up late to make sure we got checked in after our gig. Thanks for a great, quick stay in our “dedicated stop,” Bill & Brenda!

    Gina2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Bill and Brenda’s home is a beautiful old farmhouse that is well maintained, and very clean. This is the 4th time we’ve stayed with them, and would highly recommend it!

    Marc2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • It's historical nice and different place .. 4 acres 1847 house with kind and lovely hosts , clean and well organized house ..

  • Bill and Brenda are very welcoming and lovely people. We were really well at their Home.

    Teobaldo2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Bill & Brenda are extra special hosts and ones we will connect with again and again. First, before we arrived, they accommodated us in every detail, showing incredible flexibility. We had a mishap with our car on the way and delayed us and we weren't sure we would even make it. When I messaged them. their response of lifting us up in prayer and what they said was amazing timing to contribute the peace I felt through it. After we arrived, the welcome and their beautiful clean house felt like home. Any need we had with the 4 adults and 3 kids was met throughout! Such warm and caring people. We stayed upstairs and used all 5 beds, but no one wanted to sleep with little Josiah...so we used a blanket we brought to make a pallet for our 4 year old grandson in our room, and the next night they had put another quilt under and made his little bed even more comfy :-) Bill gave us an incredible tour of this amazing Civil War era home with so much history attached. His research proved to be very interesting! We definitely felt right at home! As we were loading to leave for a cookout/family reunion, Brenda even cut up all the veggies for us for the grill! If you had not considered stopping at this "dedicated" stop, you may want to reconsider! It is worth twice what you will pay.

  • We loved our stay! The place was just the right size for the two of us. We appreciate the dishes and silverware being available for use along with fresh linens. We were not aware there would be other people above us nor that it was a duplex so we would have preferred to have that information prior to booking. We love the location, as it was secluded and we had a fantastic view of the night sky. We would definitely stay again.

  • This place was cute, cozy and simple! Great for a weekend getaway!

  • I really enjoyed my stay in Jeff's apartment. Smart use of space in the layout of the cozy kitchen/dining area/living room, and the bedroom is spacious. It is a brand new listing, but I was pleased with how spotlessly clean it was. This place was an exceptional value and I would gladly stay here again.

  • This was such a great little getaway spot! We had a ton of fun with our pups. It was secluded, beautiful location, and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

    Anna2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful stay! The cabin was perfect. We did a winter stay and the wood stove kept us incredibly warm! The host had the perfect amount of wood for us. Definitely recommend 4 wheel drive if you’re doing a winter or rainy stay though, no fault on the owners part—just rough road! It’s a perfect distance to wineries (they’re kind of spread out through the Geneva area). And turns out...outhouses aren’t so bad after all!

    Rebecca2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful cabin. Adrienne and Morgan made it super easy to find and check in. The cabin was as described. With their instruction book everything was easy to run and we didn’t have any issues.

    Erin2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful getaway... we rambled in the woods, drank coffee on the porch, slept in a hammock, and played cards by the hygge of the wood fire stove. This cabin had just enough conveniences to be comfy, and few enough to really decompress and breathe.

    Anna2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • We spent one night in the cabin to check out a few wineries in the area. We absolutely loved the cabin! It had more space than we expected. Definitely plan on bringing friends to visit during the summer!

    Kellie2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The reviews say it all: these guys are great! The check in process and directions were extremely clear, very fast communication, and the space is obviously well loved. It’s clean, it’s creative, and it’s just as you expect. Plenty of woods to explore. The price is very, very fair and honestly could be higher. They supply a ton of wood in the cost for both the stove and the outdoor fire pit. Their guidebook provided us with a lovely dinner and parks to explore. They are passionate about radical hospitality and everyone should experience this place!

    Nick2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • I did not expect the amazing view and landscape! Excellent hosts! It's so quiet there and totally private. Much appreciate hosts sharing their cabin experience. Highly recommended.

    Matt2019-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a little slice of heaven. Adrienne and Morgan keep their cabin very clean and have everything you need packed into a cute small space. They mean it when they say glamping experience! It was amazing and a perfect getaway from our busy lives.

  • Great location for Spire. The room and bathroom were very clean! Mickey was great!

    Leah2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to stay Great hospitable hosts So friendly Made you feel so much at home

    Judy2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Mickey's hospitality was outstanding!! I felt comfortable and at home after long days at the Spire Institute attending a multi-day swim meet. Mickey's home was impeccably clean; the bed was cozy and a separate spacious bathroom all to myself! Mickey's home also doubled as an office for me. There was more than ample space to spread out in other parts of the home to do my work. I had to telecommute into work & with clients which required strong WiFi service; there was never an issue with the signal (and my client's were none-the-wiser that I was nestled in beautiful Ohio wine country). The location was perfect for me in relation to Spire, but there's so much more the area, and this home, has to offer for those seeking a relaxing time. I would highly recommend Mickey's place to anyone.

    Justin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Mickey and her husband were so kind and hospitable. We appreciated the cake they had for us to celebrate our wedding; it was delicious! They’re puppy was absolutely precious and the home was beautiful. We loved it!

    Jordyn2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very friendly hosts, and a beautiful home. The pictures really do not do it justice. It was amazingly close to Spire Institute where we had to be for a soccer camp. Mickey was a super quick response to any questions, and was accommodating to our later than planned arrival due to weather. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.

    Pamela2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Had a cozy and relaxing stopover! Secluded and quiet house to unwind after a day's drive or a day of activities. Mickey was very accommodating, and made me feel right at home for my one night stay. Would stay again if driving by the area in the future!

    Connor2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Mickey’s place was perfect for my son and me as we were attending a swim meet at Spire institute. Her house is so close to everything. Mickey is a phenomenal host! To illustrate this: I somehow forgot to bring a jacket and she let me borrow one! Wow I am so grateful. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet and I don’t think I’ve slept that good in a long while. Highly recommended!

    Carl (Cory)2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Mickey was a terrific host. She got back to us within minutes of booking to welcome us and give us great directions to her place and later made unexpected accommodation for or check-in. Her rooms are meticulously clean and tastefully decorated. Maybe best of all is how quiet and peaceful it is there.

  • My stay at George's was phenomenal! I was looking for places in the Cleveland countryside and settle for Geneva, about 1 hour from Cleveland, for its proximity to the vineyards and other activities in the area. I flew my airplane into a nearby airport (Ashtabula County, KHZY) and Kathy picked me up once I had landed and drove me to their place. George and Kathy are great! Very sociable and helpful, George also cooked a great meal and let me use his ATV to ride on his 40 acre property! I will definitely be back! this place is great for wildlife spotting, camping, hunting and just to sit around in the Jacuzzi. Thanks for your awesome hospitality and will be back soon!

    Nicolo2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • George's place is really something special. It's on an idyllic slice of land in the countryside, close to the wineries and Geneva-on-the-lake, but really quiet and tranquil. We loved laying in the hammocks and using the hot tub. Beds are comfy and in a private part of the house, and the breakfasts are some of the best I've had (you have to have George make his famous crepes!). We loved getting to know George and his partner and will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

    Liz2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • They made their home totally available to our arrival and schedules. Room was private and comfortable with a bathroom next door. Air conditioning kept us cool and the bed sheets were so very soft. Breakfasts were fantastic and conversations interesting. Communication was prompt and welcoming. The home is totally new and modern. We were so pleased to have stayed here rather than at a motel!!

    Gary2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • George and Kathy were absolutely phenomenal!! The entire experience was A-1 and perfect!! We will be staying here every time we are in town for our tournaments!!

    Nicole2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • George and Kathy are wonderful hosts. Breakfasts were amazing. The have a large yard that is perfect for families with small children. Our youngest had a blast playing with George. George and Kathy were super helpful and accommodating to our needs.

    Keith2019-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • A well-versed outgoing accomplished pilot, George sure can serve up the bacon and crepes anytime in your morning.

    Marta2019-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment we arrived at George and Kathy’s we felt like we were home! Their place is so comfortable and relaxing with plenty of room to spread out. Beautiful country location and plenty of places to relax outdoors. The wonderful breakfast each morning was a great start to our long days at SPIRE. They are very helpful answering questions and offering recommendations about the area! There are some fantastic wineries and a nice Amish store not too far away. If you’re heading toward the lake, check out Horizons at The Lodge. This was our 2nd stay with George and Kathy and I would stay again and again! I feel like our family just got bigger!!

    Tammy2019-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • What a treat! This was certainly a cozy escape. Just be careful mixing the hot tub and the wineries... George has an absolutely beautiful home and land. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and I will definitely stay again. This was the retreat I needed.
