  • Zack and Julie are lovely hosts with the perfect location for me and the trips I needed to take to Danville, Milton, and Lewisburg. Charming and peaceful home!

    Jamie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home and extremely nice hosts. Bed was really comfortable, and they very thoughtfully had lemon water and fruit by the bed. Only stayed for the night for a work trip, but it was great!

  • Beautiful and comfortable space. Great location.

    Brittany2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, very clean, super easy check in. We got in later than we had anticipated and Zack was very flexible. He made directions for self check in and finding our room in the house very easy. The house and room were very cute and very clean. He also left us water and snacks in case we were hungry after our journey. Breakfast was also provided and the we met Zack who was very kind! Definitely would stay again.

  • Always such a treat staying with Robin! Couldn’t recommend her more highly.

    Doug2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Robin's place is very cozy and warm. She is very kind and friendly and gave me great information about the area. I will definitely stay there again!

    Nancy2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Robin is amazing. She truly cares about her guests getting the best experience possible and she is a neat freak! Which we guests benefit from. Sparkling clean and quiet. The best!

    Joe2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • The prior reviews are spot-on. Robin's home is a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. She and her daughter couldn't have been more gracious hosts and I won't hesitate to stay with them again if I have to return to her area. The home was spotless and they provide a nice basket of trial sized personal care items if you should forget something. Bed was comfortable and the view down toward the Susky is great. They were absolutely accomodating to my early departure for my work days and odd hours during the day. One of the cats is a nosy boy who came knocking a couple of times looking for a quick head rub and wanting to do an inspection tour of the room, after which he sat there watching me work for a bit before wandering off to his next duty. I never saw one of the others and barely knew the 3rd was in the house. He poked his nose in once and froze in his tracks the instant I looked at him...then backed away when I spoke. You won't regret staying with Robin.

  • Beautiful location and amazing hospitality! A great place to stay near Bucknell!

    Jolanda2019-11-25T00:00:00Z

    Greg2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Clean w/ a private bathroom, very nice neighborhood. EZ in and out. Great place!

    Susan2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb experience, and this will probably be my best ever. Our host, Robin, was incredibly attentive, kind, and outgoing in making sure that our stay was perfect and comfortable. For the price ($60 a night) this was an absolute steal. It was easy to contact her (fast replies) and she is flexible in accommodating to anyone’s needs within reason. We read the description thoroughly and found that we got exactly what was written in that description, and then some. Thanks again Robin!

  • We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, but this has to be our favorite. The place was spotless and smelled lovely. The suite was spacious and modern; had a very “homey” touch! We enjoyed the smart TV and large couch for lounging and relaxing. The location was perfect; extremely close to everything, yet private. Rodney was a great host, he responded quickly to our messages. We enjoyed the area and the suite, would love to visit again!

  • This exceptionally clean suite checks all the boxes. We had an event at Bucknell University, and it was the perfect distance away in a nice, secluded area. There are a ton of restaurants only minutes away and a trampoline park / arcade nearby for the kids. We only had a quick overnight stay, but there is a fully equipped kitchen which would be perfect for any length of stay. The hosts were welcoming but not intrusive, and they add nice touches such as a Keurig and some snacks for when you arrive. The communication could not have been any better. The response was almost immediate to any question I asked. I'll definitely be staying there again if I need a place in the area.

3.5 miles from Susquehanna University Monroe Market Place, the Susquehanna Valley Mall, Dining, Roller Skating Rink. 12.5 miles to Bucknell University. Includes 3 adult kayaks and 2 Jr kayaks. Private access on Penn's Creek. Great for fishing as well. Firewood available for fire pit. Property is limited to 2 car parking. If you need more ask me, I'll see what I can do. 40 min to Knoebles Parking is close to the road and there are about 10 steps to walk down to the 900 sq ft of space.
Our place is small but quaint. The bedrooms are small and are just meant for sleeping...master has about 1 foot of space on each side like a camper master bedroom. The kitchen, laundry, bathroom, living room & outdoor deck space are all large. Ranch style home with tons of natural light. Parking is close to the road and there are about 10 steps to walk down to get to the one story ranch that is approx. 900 sq. Feet of space. There are neighbors. My son is staying in the bottom apartment on his summer break from Susquehanna University but is private access.
  • Heather was a great host! She was able to work with us when we booked last minute. We will be staying here again!

  • Super cute space. The place was immaculate and had plenty of the necessities and then some. This place will definitely be on my regular stay list!

    Patricia2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Heather’s place has a great view of Penn’s Creek! It is a relaxing and cozy home that was clean and very affordable. It was also very hospitable by including complimentary K cups, water bottles and snack baggies. It’s only a short drive to Susquehanna University. We stayed to visit for our homecoming reunion. We couldn’t have had a better experience staying at B’s Creek. Thanks so much Heather!

  • The home was absolutely so cozy and inviting. The canoe was a wonderful and a great opportunity to explore the natural beauty around us. The host is thoughtful and quick to respond to any questions. My family and I had a great time! Would absolutely stay here again.

    Hansel2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Heather's place is really cute! Sits right on the creek with a beautiful porch and large windows overlooking it. The kitchen is large, and the living room has really comfortable couches for relaxing. As she points out, the bedroom is small, but the bed was great and the room size wasn't a problem for us. It is also immaculate!

    Clarissa2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • B's Creek House is exactly as posted and reviewed by other travelers. It is sparkling clean and very thoughtfully decorated/outfitted. We found it perfect for a long weekend away but close enough to surrounding towns and other amenities. The welcome package was thoughtful, and the areas for sleeping and family gathering were perfect. We highly recommend a stay at B's Creek House.

Character abounds at Pine Street Cottage! This post-war structure is home to beautiful hardwood floors, a darling kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. In addition, there is an enclosed porch that can be accessed from the kitchen or outside. The back lawn, framed by flower beds, gives ample room for relaxation and refreshment! Parking? There's plenty of driveway space as well as free parking at the street - except Wednesday forenoon. We provide coffee and a few drinks and snacks. Neighbors? We just ask that you respect the neighbors by keeping your noise level down. Thanks in advance! PARKING? there's free parking at the street - except Wednesday morning when the street cleaner goes thru, as well as in the driveway.
A leisurely stroll will take you into the heart of historic Lewisburg, full of tiny shops & restaurants. To the south, within walking distance, is the Bucknell campus. If you're feeling really energetic, you may want to walk to the river and cross the bridge to enjoy nature at it's finest! Or maybe you enjoy graveyards...there's a large one within sight of Pine Street Cottage! The backstreets of Lewisburg are filled with a beauty all their own...historic homes, large old churches, a garden walk in the spring...and much more! If you enjoy biking, you're not far from a beautiful rail trail that connects Lewisburg to Mifflinburg - also a historic town known for it's buggy manufacturing in years gone by!
  • Immaculately clean, sweet little place to close to Bucknell. Simon was a terrific communicator and an accommodating host. Special touches (like snacks, condiments, basic kitchen supplies) were appreciated!

  • This home is pristine and the extras were a nice, thoughtful surprise. Really close to Bucknell!

    George2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The sweet, 2-bedroom house is very comfortable and clean with minimalist furnishings. It is located in town between Bucknell University and downtown, and within easy walking distance to both. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood with off street parking. The kitchen is well appointed with the essentials to make meals in house although there are many excellent restaurants in town.

    Joan2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • This space was a great location - easily could walk into town, provided a beautiful backdrop for our wedding prep - the space was great, there were SO many mirrors, and the decor was so simplistically beautiful. The communication with the host was always extremely fast and respectful. Would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive, luxurious getaway.

  • The tree house was an amazing and unique experience. We wanted to get away from work, and this was the perfect place for that. It was so quiet and peaceful. We would definitely return!

    Jessica2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at the treehouse was a unique experience that we would definitely do again! We were in the area for a Bucknell football game and the treehouse was a 15-minute drive from the stadium. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is a necessity as the trek up to the treehouse is a bit treacherous...but once you get to the top of the hill, the views are absolutely amazing! If you are looking for solitude and peace in the beautiful outdoors, this is definitely an experience to try!

    Ami2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a great night at Cindy's tree house. Even though it rained, we were able to get a fire started and enjoyed the sounds of coyotes under the stars. It is amazing getaway spot for any one looking for a romantic, quiet weekend. It is also within an hour of Penn's Cave and Hawk Mountain, two beautiful local attractions. Thank you Cindy!

    Shannon2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing!!!!!

    Kirstie2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED staying at Cindy’s treehouse! It’s a perfect getaway with a beautiful view, but not far from stores and attractions nearby. You have everything you need right at the treehouse — kitchen, stove, grill, running water, bathroom, comfy bed and fire pit. Dishes, pans, utensils, cups, and salt/pepper are all available, but bring your own condiments, cooking oil/butter, and charcoal briquettes for the grill. We drove into town to eat dinner at Selin’s Grove Brewery, and rented kayaks at Bic’s about a half hour away. Would love to stay again sometime! Cindy was very accommodating and allowed us to bring our dogs.

    Emily2019-08-25T00:00:00Z

  • Spent the weekend here. I was looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend and that is exactly what I got. Amazing views, wildlife, and the best view of stars I have ever had in my life. The treehouse was clean and comfy. All the amenities worked great! I highly recommend and I see myself visiting again in the future.

    Jeffrey2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • When you pull into the driveway, you can see the treehouse at the top of the hill and that is where the excitement begins! My husband and I brought our two dogs for a weekend vacation. We were very comfortable in the cabin in the trees. The space was clean and the bed was cozy. It was hot out during the day but we brought a few battery operated fans that kept us cool at night. The kitchen and bathroom in the camper worked well and we enjoyed our meals on the picnic table overlooking the hillside. The hot shower in the bathhouse was nice. We saw lots of deer in the evenings. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the creek across the street. Our favorite part was sitting on the porch at the top of the trees. It was a perfect spot for watching fireworks and stars at night and listening to the birds in the morning. Cindy is the perfect host she was responsive and accommodating.

The first aid kit is in the downstairs bathroom in the white cupboard above the toilet.
We live in a busy little part of the neighborhood but offer free reign of our private front porch and fenced in yard. We have parking available in the alley behind our home. The alley may seem a little unbecoming upon first arriving, but we assure you that it's a different place once you walk past the gate. We are located close to a grocery store, Spyglass and Whispering Oaks wineries, Eclipse Brewery, Bucknell and Susquehanna Universities, as well as Knoebels Amusement Resort. There are too many attractions to list so please just ask!
  • Ryan and Maxine were incredible hosts! They thought of absolutely everything to make us feel at home. From the room to the basket of extra toiletries in case we forgot something to the wonderful living space that was beautifully and cozily decorated, everything was just perfect. We felt perfectly at home and would recommend a stay with them to anyone!

    Paula2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • The home is spotless and a great location. I went to Knoebels one of the days of my stay, and the house is close. Communication was excellent with the family. I had to check in late due to a flight delay, and they had no problem with that. I loved the decor of the house, very charming. I would recommend this place to anyone, and hope to come back soon!

    Jeanette2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Clean & great room! Their house is beautiful and was a great short stay! Super communicative and didn’t mind we were arriving late at night. The room and bathroom were very clean!

    Annaliese2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious and clean, very cute little touches in the decorations. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

    Cassie2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • The best private room you could stay at! The house was very clean, stylish and welcoming. Will definitely stay again anytime we are in Sunbury.

    Isabelle2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautifully remodeled home with sights you'd find in right in a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. I really wish I could live here! The hosts were very responsive to messages and shared insight to local businesses. Finn is a great dog and loves to give kisses. Truly a wonderful experience.

    Nicole2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely outstanding hosts, we couldnt ask for a more welcoming family during our time in Sunbury. We had car trouble and Ryan was nice enough to recommend a mechanic and borrow his car for the day. I'm blown away by their kindness and selflessness, if you end being hosted by the William's family- they will not disappoint at all.

    Jaclyn2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Delightful couple. Their dog Finn is very sweet and their boy very polite. You can't beat the value with a stick. Comfortable bed. Cute room. Great location. Very nice people.

The Fisherman’s Paradise is a cute little Tiny house that sits right on the bank of penns creek..tucked away into the country, but only a couple miles from malls, stores restaurants and gas stations. We even now get pizza delivery...lol there are plenty of great fishing spots one being right off the deck !!! We are close to Susquehanna University and Bucknell University . There is only 1 sofa bed not sure why it says two beds but I can’t fix it.
    Lots of steps

  • Larry and Patrica were amazing with accommodating our last night of our vacation and our late arrival. Door was unlocked and heat was on thankfully. Super sweet welcoming sign with our names and delicious snacks provided I and my family will enjoy. Waking up with beautiful views on the water is just the romantic relaxation and recharging we needed. Can’t wait for our next visit to take advantage of the bonfire, kayaking and fishing. Thanks again!

  • This cabin was great! The cozy and functional atmosphere was great.

  • Great getaway spot if you are up for adventure!

    Kelly2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was so much fun! They had cookies waiting for us and a cute little sign with our names on it upon arrival. Their was both an ac/heater/and fan! We kayaked and went fishing all day and sat by the fire roasting marshmallows at night. They had dishes and silverware covered so all you need is to bring clothes and food! We loved our time at the fisherman’s paradise and will definitely be back.

    Abbey2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Patricia was amazing! She responded to our inquiries so quickly and was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Everything was perfect. From the scenery, to the personal touches she did just for me and my boyfriend. We were welcomed by a personal “Welcome Marc and Marlene” as soon as we walked down to the cabin-like tiny house. There was wood stocked for us and fresh drinking and cooking water. The place was sparkling clean and had every amenity we would need from toiletries to cooking stuff. There was even coffee, ice, and a few other goodies we were welcomed to use. We also were impressed by the canoe and kayaks. As well as the fire pit with a comfy swing and a charming chiminea outside. I just couldn’t believe how perfect everything was. And the title of FISHERMAN PARADISE is totally fitting. You can literally fish right off the deck or take the canoe/kayak out. We were lucky enough to catch Bass, Tiger Muskellunge, and Catfish. This little piece of heaven feels secluded enough in the best parts of nature but close enough to any store you may need and lots of other entertainment. The river is about 5-8 minutes away. You definitely can’t go wrong here. Wether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or an adventure, this is the place to be. The price was right and we highly recommend. We have found a place we will be going to at least once or twice a year.

  • You will immediately feel at home in this thoughtfully decorated, charming home. Even though it's two bedrooms, it felt like it could easily have accommodated 7 guests because it is spacious and has a wonderful loop layout with the bedrooms off the back. Rodney has included everything you need from basics like soap to games for the family to a rocking chair in the "master", which was so great for us with a baby. He is very responsive and a delight to communicate with. Thanks for a great stay! We will definitely be back.

The Countrypolitan's modern decor coupled with efficient design creates your "home away from home" in the "suburbs" of downtown, Victorian Lewisburg! Here for business or pleasure, the home was designed for authentic relaxation and rejuvenation! Short or long term, Bucknell/SU/PSU/LLWS/Arts Fest/ChridstKindl and other Lewisburg/Selinsgrove/Mifflinburg/Milton weekends, weddings, family hosting, & the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail are just a few reasons guests visit The Countrypolitan all year long.
The Countrypolitan was completely remodeled in 2019. Our decor and furniture choices are meant to create your oasis of serenity in a cozy and comfy atmosphere. The Countrypolitan offers all the space you really need in a great residential neighborhood that is quiet yet always very welcoming. We have a 0% tolerance pet policy not because we do not love animals but because we want to respect all future guests who may have pet allergies. We only clean the house with chemical/dye free products so no harsh chemicals are used on our floors, surfaces, etc. Julie reps the Norwex line so she can receive the discount. If you would like to take advantage of the same 35% discount (and sometimes higher), let Julie know and she will hook you up!
The Countrypolitan is located in the “suburbs” of downtown, Victorian Lewisburg. The neighbors have all been very friendly to us while being a quiet neighborhood at the same time. Friendly + Quiet is our kind of neighborhood! We would be surprised if you did not see several neighbors taking walks past The Countrypolitan with their 4-legged friends during your stay. Located only a block from the edge of the Bucknell Golf Course, and less than 1 mile from the nearest Buffalo Valley Rail Trail entrance, there is plenty of active, outdoor options to keep you energized. If you choose to enjoy our screened-in back porch, keep your eyes wide open as you may see one of our white-tail deer friends wander through the yard.
  • Just as great the second time as it was the first time! Clint and Julie are great hosts!

A place nice enough to return to "just because". We recommend it highly.

  • Picturesque cottage by the Susquehanna. We stayed one night with our four little boys and my wife's brother. Nothing fancy, but quite clean (until my boys ate/scattered breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the mud at the bank of the river). Bunk beds are cute and worked perfectly for the boys. There were a number of games and movies, though we weren't there long enough to make use of them. Kitchen was adequately equipped for our purpose of preparing breakfast for the family. We may try to stay again the next time we're in the area.

My place is close to Bucknell University. We are located on the Main Business Street in Historic Lewisburg - Market Street. We are within walking distance to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, and nightlife. Park your car on your arrival and you can walk the rest of your stay! You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, the light, and the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
We are not only located within walking distance to Bucknell University, but we are 2 blocks from 2 separate parks, 2 blocks to the gorgeous Susquehanna River, and within walking distance to ALL downtown Eating establishments! Our local favorite is Elizabeth's - open Wednesday through Saturday for Lunch and Dinner.

  • This is a very convenient location for Lewisburg and/or Bucknell visitors located on Market Street in the center of town. It is spacious, clean and user friendly. The beds are big and comfortable and the kitchen is very functional. The living room is a very cozy room with a big open feel. There are 3 very large bedrooms. There is even a private deck to relax on outside. I would highly recommend this for families, couples and friends. The host is extremely easy to work with.

    John2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • The location is truly great, we loved Lewisburg and being on Market Street was ideal. The host was accommodating and flexible which I appreciated. My only complaint was that one room was very dark because lamps were the only light source and some things were missing that I would have liked having such as extra garbage bags, a good sponge, salt, etc. But those were small inconveniences and we enjoyed our time there.

  • After reading reviews on line I already had high expectations and I have to say I was not disappointed. The location was perfect I wish we had more time to enjoy the town. The bedrooms are huge and the beds very comfortable. The windows in the living provide a nice view of the town and do not worry ...street noise was never an issue. I cannot think of one negative comment. I had emailed Jennifer twice with a couple of questions on the day of our arrival and she responded within a half hour. That is amazing service especially since it was on Thanksgiving Day! Do not hesitate to book your stay.

  • Our group had a great stay at Anna Beth and John's place! It was very convenient to the university event we attended in Lewisburg, had tons of space, and had all the essentials we needed in addition to several other amenities. It's located in a quiet area and we loved being close to everything, but able to retreat at the end of the day and hang in the kitchen or on the deck. Anna Beth and John are gracious hosts and we would definitely stay again. Thank you both!

  • Cottage was PERFECT! Clean, quiet, comfortable and the best location. Bob was great!

    Christi2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place is almost "fairytale" awesome!!! You walk a path between 2 full sized houses to a small cottage of your very own. There are lots of flowers and garden touches to make the front area visually attractive and to prepare your the cottage. It's small but not cramped, nice furnished and tidy. The living room was quaint and had a good sized TV against the wall that pulled out so that it could be seen from every angle but could be tucked away for space. The kitchen had all the amenities you could need to cook a nice dinner if you wanted. The upstairs bedroom was also super quaint, with bright white sheets and a comfy bed. WARNING (and this is the only warning you will need to stay at this place) the walls upstairs are slanted and you may boop (Yeah, I said boop.) your head head once or twice before you get used to it. I am the tall one here at 6'2" so I am prepped at all times for it but my wife at 5'7" wasn't used to paying attention to low slung stuff so she learned over the course of the first evening to pay attention to the slope. Our stay was everything we needed. We were super close to the shops and restaurants. Walking distance form the Street of Shops, and driving distance from everywhere we wanted to go (Camp Woodward, Millheim, Mifflinburg). Do yourself a favor and drop by the park in the middle of town during dusk and sit to see all the lighting bugs do their very own light show for you. It was so cool!! Never in my life seen so many lightning bugs. It was crazy!

  • What a beautiful house! Everything in this house has been thoughtfully designed and prepared. We were very impressed. From the decor to the kitchen to the cookies, everything was great. It was a perfect fit for our family. We came in the fall so the fireplaces were super cozy. Can’t wait to come back in summertime to enjoy more of the outdoor fun.

    Lorraine2019-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED the decor at David's home. Very stylish and clean! the space was unique and just the right size for our family. We had a great time running the dirtbikes and four wheelers at a nearby outdoor trail riding park, and the wines at Whispering Oaks were fabulous! Easy check-in, and some unexpected treats -- the cookies were awesome! We would definitely consider staying here again.

    Tracy2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The house was beautiful and spotless, and the setting and views were splendid. Our family had a wonderful time enjoying all the outdoor games, swimming, or simply resting surrounded by beautiful nature scenes. The house is set in a large and private water front property surrounded by protected land. The hosts were very attentive and left nice touches for us to feel welcomed, such as wine in the wine cooler and homemade muffins on the counter. Matt and David met us at the house upon arrival to give us a tour of the house and property. The following day they offered to give us a boat ride, which my family truly enjoyed. Although the property does not offer Wifi, we were able to use our cellphones as hotspots for our laptops without a problem. We like the fact that we had privacy and yet we were only minutes away from main stores and restaurants. We will definitely come back and recommend the house to our family and friends. • This house was amazing; it was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, cool bathrooms and decorated so nicely. The outdoor area was great which included a fire pit, fabulous outdoor seating area, tons of outdoor games and a relaxing area to sit by the river! I would highly recommend this house for a family gathering. The host went out of their way with their hospitality and had very quick responses.

    Chris2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • We were greeted by the host when we arrived and he showed us around the property and house which were beautiful. The house was sparkling clean and the decor was amazing. The view of the river was awesome and my kids had a blast jumping off of the dock into the water. Everything was there for us, plenty of firewood and even the s’mores! The host was very accommodating and could not be more helpful. There is a lot to do in the area and you can rent a boat to waterski at Shikellamy State Park which is about a mile away. I highly recommend staying here and I have already told friends about the great time we had!

In our town there are several small cafes and restaurants and in its heart is Bucknell University (approx. 5 min from us). There are antique shops a plenty and we're only 45 minutes from Penn's Creek caves amongst other wonderful outdoor activities.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!! We own a large 1930's brick townhouse that speaks to the talent and beauty of the era. Original hard wood floors, grand staircase, high ceilings, complimented by original light fixtures and huge windows that allow our house to be filled with the most beautiful of ambient light. The rooms available are on our third floor. One room has a queen-sized bed, while the other has a full. If you have small children we have a pack-n-play. Also, even though we have two bathrooms, there is only one bathroom inside. The other, in old school fashion, is outside on our porch. You'll have to see it to believe it. And because we reside in a living piece of history each season gives and takes. In the winter our house is a little cooler than most and in the summer it's a little warmer than most Americans like it :) But if you're ok with the nature of this historic beast, then you'll fit right in! We are situated in a wonderful neighborhood that allows for safe, early morning or late evening walks, and if you're up to it, right across the street is a trail. If you're in the mood for good food and socializing, it's only a two minute car ride to the center of town where you can find fabulous antiquing, vintage shops, pubs, cafes, Thai food, Sushi, burrito joint, ice cream and a couple small parks. AND, if you're here for Bucknell, we are only five minutes away from the heart of the campus. Come join us!
  • Wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed our time here and the location was perfect for an event in Lewisburg that we were attending. We would happily stay here again!

  • Misha and David are the sweetest people, and their family is adorable! We were so glad to find their place, so closely located to Bucknell while we were visiting, and at such a reasonable price in comparison to hotels. The description is very clear about the shared bathroom, and that was not a problem at all. The third floor where guests stay feels extremely private and there were some nice special touches like drinks and snacks in a small refrigerator. There is definitely a sense that you are entering a kind and happy home when staying here!

    Beth2019-09-29T00:00:00Z

  • Wonderful 3 night stay to visit my daughter at Bucknell! The location i great and convenient to restaurants and Main St! Upstairs where you stay is very comfortable. The only thing is that you share a bathroom with the whole family which they state in the description! If you don't mind that, this is a great value and the family is very welcoming!!

  • Tanya's place was wonderfully appointed and very comfortable and welcoming. Unfortunately our stay there took a sharp left turn when our dog got into a tangle with a skunk on the first night. Throughout the process of trying to remove the smell Tanya was very open and responsive, even giving us suggestions of products we could use and where to find them. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts we were not able to leave her space in the same condition we would have liked but Tanya was understanding and very helpful throughout a very difficult situation.

  • 2nd time staying at the Barn! Better than ever. Highly recommend. Tanya is an amazing host.

  • The Barn is a perfectly appointed guest house off the main property. The large comfortable bed is in a studio space off the main living area and bunk beds are in a separate room. There is a divider available for more privacy if needed. The space is a great size that is nice and open. The kitchen area has everything you need to take care of breakfast or cook small meals. The back opens up to a very private backyard with some nice chairs to enjoy your morning coffee. Tanya is a very welcoming host and responds quickly to any contact. Overall the experience was lovely and I highly recommend staying here while in town!

One of Lewisburg's oldest dwellings (1795), in excellent condition, airy and light-filled, view the river from porch. Backyard with patios, arbor and charcoal barbecue. Five-minute walk to shops and eating on Market Street. Note: you park on the street in front of the house or nearby. IMPORTANT: do not leave a car on South Water after 7 AM on Mondays--they tow! Move around the corner.
We thank Airbnb for introducing their Living Wage pledge. We could not make this home available without Denise, who prepares before each guest and makes it a lovely place to stay. We have made the commitment that she will be paid fairly for her work, which should be everyone's right. Also please note: our bathrooms are very small, by today's standards; they date from the 1960s, when we all were used to less.
River view, old houses, yards, the bridge, May's (small diner-ish, with 28 flavors of ice cream) right across the river, the Fence drive-in restaurant a mile down on the far side, which is a must-visit.
  • Large space with many bedrooms with comfortable beds and nice living area. Pretty view of the water from upstairs. Convenient to Market Street. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. One of our new favorite spots.

  • This Airbnb is a true Bed and Breakfast. I stayed in the Green Room which was very clean and bigger than I anticipated. I had plenty of room to move around. While the bathroom was a teense small (it is a historic building after all) it was very clean and had plenty of light. The bed and linens were very comfortable – I felt like I was in a cocoon. The ample breakfast was served between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and had various options. I’m vegan and hadn’t alerted the host about this, but did fine with toast, jelly, fresh fruit and tea. The dining area is quaint and decorated with beautiful art. There are many seating options – a 2 top, 4 top, or larger table for 6. If the weather is nice, you can even eat outside in the cute fenced in yard. I appreciated that on-site parking was available, but I was lucky enough to get a spot on the street right out front. When I first arrived, Innkeeper Katie was very welcoming and friendly. You can tell she really enjoys her job and takes pride in it. She was always more than happy to help me with any request. The location is great. While it is in a quieter part of town, it is just a short 5-minute walk to Market Street where there are restaurants and shops. Lewisburg strikes me as a very walkable, safe community. I plan to return. My stress level went from a 10 to a 1 after staying here.

Downtown Dorm by the bars. Two separate bedrooms makes this space perfect for couples and group travel. Full size everything in this house including Fridge, stove, washer/dryer, etc... There is a TV in the living room, and plenty of space in the dining room and kitchen. This is not a luxury space - it is a former sorority house with some wear and tear, but provides a mid-range option for those wanting to park their car for free and enjoy the walkable downtown of Lewisburg PA.
There is noise from the bars downtown. The building was built before 1865 so it has creaky steps and uneven floors. The living room is spacious, and the kitchen/refrigerator has plenty of space to accommodate any group of guests.

All New 2016/17 Construction with a massive deck with spectacular views. Beautiful flooring thru the entire house with all new appliances. 4 bedrooms with 2.5 Baths. Two of the lower level bedrooms are outfitted with lovely new bunk beds---one of which is a large twin over full. The Master Bedroom has a beautiful oak bed with great views---lower level bedrooms all have fans. Upstairs bedroom has a full bed and brand new pottery barn crib. Close to Knoebels Amusement Park, Walking distance to Splash Magic, Bloomsburg Fair, Bloomsburg University, Bucknell University, Selinsgrove College, Historic Fort Augusta, The Joseph Priestly House. 2 extra pack n plays and 2 air mattresses onsite. Note: The cottage is a "family oriented" vacation home. It comfortably sleeps 10+ (i.e. certainly more if you use extra air mattresses, etc) but that is a mix of adults and children (i.e. some of the bedrooms are bunk beds, etc..) We really would not want more than 6 adults staying over at any given time. ***We provide fresh Linens including all of the comforters after each stay. *We have two (2) Pack N Plays on premises for newborns & toddlers and new pottery barn crib.
Shady Lane is a Private road with just 7 or so cottages. It's incredibly safe with excellent neighbors. You can literally WALK to Splash Magic and get there in 30 seconds; yet you are very secluded.
  • We really enjoyed our stay at "Suits Me". The house is very close to a lot of shopping and almost any restaurant imaginable. The house accommodated our large family of multiple ages very well.
