  • Absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home! The chapel has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard and the little touches are what made it for me (the fresh bottle of milk). Loved it so much that I'm thinking of making it an annual tradition. Thank you Penny for sharing your space!

  • This converted chapel was a beautiful place to stay. It felt cosy and spacious at the same time! It was wonderfully furnished and the whole place was really stylish. We will definitely be back.

  • Completely and utterly impressed with this beautiful, quaint and so well equipped accommodation. This is hosting at its very very best. Penny has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay soo homely and comfortable. Was so easy to book in and check out. Fantastic stay while exploring the surrounding area which offers a varied amount of things to do. The local New Inn just a short walk from the accommodation serves delicious food. As we drive home we are already planning a return trip as we enjoyed this one so much. Thanks Penny for having us.

  • We had a very comfortable two-night stay in the chapel. The building itself and the décor are both lovely and there were plenty of thoughtful touches – Penny has great taste and attention to detail. There was also useful info on-hand including things to do locally, the interesting history of the chapel and helpful visuals for how to use the sofa bed. We would definitely stay here again and would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a quirky and cosy retreat in the Bath area.

  • This place is simply beautiful. Secluded, spacious and homely it offered exactly what I was after to surprise my partner for a lovely little romantic break away. The host sent through a welcome message with all the details on gaining entry, where to go if you wanted to eat out and the contact details if you needed anything. There was a lovely little rest of goodies on arrival (drink and shortbread) along with milk in the fridge. The bedroom in the mezzanine area is spacious and the bed very comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need and the shower room, although downstairs from the bedroom, is light and fresh and has all the toiletries. We ended up eating at The Bunch of Grapes in Bradford-on-Avon, which the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend if you’re happy to spend that little bit more. Could not fault it or the service. Following night we ate at the local village pub, The New Inn. Again lovely, decent pub food, with very good portions. Again could not fault. Will definitely look to return at some point.

  • What a fantastic place and one of the best AirBnb’s we’ve stayed in. The decor was beautiful and location perfect for visiting Bradford on Avon and Bath. Could not recommend Penny’s place enough and we will definitely be returning!

    Ellie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this beautiful and thoughtfully arranged chapel. One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in.

A beautiful 1750s cottage in Bradford on Avon, voted by the Sunday Times as the best town to live in 2015, just 5 miles from Bath. The cottage is set up with 2 rooms with double beds, 1 room with a double and a single, and can host 7 people in the cottage. The original wash house for the terrace, has a lovely light and airy studio the garden with an additional king size bed sleeping 2, hence a maximum total of 9 guests. It is cosy, so suits smaller groups well as well.
In the cottage there are two rooms with double beds and 1 room with a double and a single, so in total the cottage sleeps 7. In addition there is a lovely light and airy studio in the garden which sleeps 2, or a sofa bed in the lounge. Travel cots can be provided, and an additional single mattress on floor if accommodating smaller children. Works well for couples, small groups of friends or families. Use of the studio for parties of 7 and under needs to be agreed in advance. If smaller groups would like use of the studio that can also be arranged but for an additional fee. The cottage oozes character with exposed wooden beams throughout the property, mullion windows all carefully crafted from Bath Stone, and the original staircase and floor boards in some of the rooms. It has a cosy wood burner for winter stays, and a small but perfectly formed garden to enjoy on sunny days. There is use of a BBQ in the garden and charcoal is provided. The cottage sleeps 7 and there is a lovely studio in the garden with a kingsize bed, tea making facilities and a sofa so the group can spread out. It is light and airy. There is no bathroom in the outbuilding so guests staying here would need to use the bathroom in the cottage. The sheets are all Egyptian cotton from John Lewis with quality bedding throughout. Guests have commented about the comfort and quality. The stairs are original and quite steep. Stairgates are provided if young children require them but please let us know in advance so we can put them up. We have many families with young children stay. People with mobility issues may however find the stairs difficult.
Bradford on Avon is a beautiful town on the edge of the Cotswolds with easy access to Bath. It is a beautiful town in its own right with plenty of sights and activities to enjoy. Many guests comment that they only wish they could have stayed longer. Bradford on Avon is divided into two halves - and this cottage is on the Bath side of town at the top of the hill. On the plus side, this means it quicker for access into Bath if you are driving, however while the centre is less than a 5 minute walk, there is a rather steep hill. If you are on foot, coming from the town centre back up, I would recommend using Whitehill or Woolley Street rather than Masons Lane as it is slightly less steep and less traffic. Guests with walking difficulties may prefer to drive down town and park. There is a variety of parking from free 1 hour parking, to paid 3 hour parking near the town bridge and all day parking at the train station. Parking at St Margaret’s car park or train station are good options. My list of things not to miss would be 1. The 1 mile walk along the canal to Avoncliff which has the lovely Cross Arms pub and the No 10 Tea rooms. It is a great way to take in the slow pace of the canal boats and get away from it all. 2. The Tithe Barn - and there are nearby playgrounds if you have kids with you 3. Woolley Grange for lunch or high tea. 14 acres of gorgeous gardens with a Jacobean manor house and lots of games in the gardens for children to enjoy 4.. We also have the UK's Top Tea House - 'Bridge Tea Rooms' Favourite pubs Top of the Hill - the Castle and the George. The Castle is 100 metres from the cottage. Down town is the newly opened Timbrells Yard which has been opened by the company that runs River Cottage Cafe. Newly opened Pablos Tapas Bar in Lambs Yard has lovely tapas and margaritas.Once you have explored Bradford, Bath is a 10 minute train ride away and Bristol, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge, Stonehenge and the South West coast are easily reached as day trips. I also love Avebury, Lacock Stourhead, Great Chalfield Manor and the Courts. All of which are National trust places between 5 minutes and 40 minutes drive from the cottage
  • A perfect spot for bigger group in BoA!

  • We had a great weekend walking the muddy fields surrounding and we really enjoyed the property - we cooked a roast dinner on Saturday evening and the kitchen was really well set up for proper cooking, which is not always the case in Airbnb properties. The rooms were cosy but very homely and we all slept well - recommend the outhouse room above the garage.

    Rowan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely property in a gorgeous little town. Easy train service and bus into bath. Cute coffee shops in town. However, quite a steep hill to climb back to the cottage. The house is very clean and cosy. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is nice and thick. Very cute xx

Restful rambling medieval Manor House in rural valley 2 miles from England's only UNESCO World Heritage Site, the 'City of Bath'. The Manor House is classified as a 'British Ancient Monument' and is in a recognised 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Documented in the Domesday Book of 1086 this is probably the oldest home in England, we know who lived here in 1262! We have eight ensuite bedrooms, individually styled, each spacious and comfortable with kingsize or four poster beds, flatscreen TVs and a number of them have a fridge. We offer free private parking for 10 cars, two reception rooms both with log fires, including a Tudor inglenook fireplace from 1539, gardens and a Victorian conservatory where you can all dine together in summer by candlelight. We provide free WIFI, and a quiet location at the end of a no-through road. We have two suites of interconnecting bedrooms dating from medieval and Tudor times. The suite on the second floor can accommodate five people: king sized four poster, double and single bed with 2 bathrooms, one wet room shower and one bath, and 2 TVs which suits families or a group of friends. The other suite of interconnecting bedrooms is on the ground floor and has access through French windows onto the garden. The first room which can be accessed from either the drawing or the dining room has a double bed, ancient flagstone floor and a small window, the other has a king-sized bed, three Windows, modern stone floor and the glazed doors to the garden under the rose arch. These two rooms share a small wet room bathroom, with shower, WC and basin. These two rooms are medieval and rustic so not for use by those who like modern sophistication in a bedroom. The other four rooms are for couples, three have king-sized beds, one a four poster. The double bed has a Balinese canopy and is in a wonderfully light and spacious room. . We also offer a child’s travel cot. You have full use of the kitchen for cooking, we used to run a restaurant here so it is well kitted out with big oven as well as Aga in winter, or you can eat at the cafe on the canal or at the local country pub. Bike, boat hire and golf available 5 mins away. Fabulous rural walks along the brook or the canal on the doorstep and a gastropub 4 mins amble along the lane. Minimum 2 night stay at weekends and 3 for Bank Holidays. Bath 2.25 mls, University of Bath 1 mile, Bristol 12. Longleat 20 mins, Wells, Cheddar 30 mins, Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Salisbury 40 mins drive.
Monkton Combe is a charming village with a church, pub and school. It is the nearest village to the City of Bath (2.5 mls) but has a rural feel with rows of cottages, fields and a brook. The Manor is at the bottom of a no through road. It is the last house in Somerset as the brook marks the boundary with Wiltshire.
  • We had a great stay at The Manor House!

    Emily2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had an exceptional stay at The Manor House. Beth's hospitality was absolutely amazing with incredibly quick, detailed and helpful responses throughout the whole process. The house was fantastic for a large party with brilliant amenities. The local area is lovely. We all somehow grew very attached in two days!

    Elizabeth2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely brilliant place to stay. We were 13 adults, the bedrooms were all gorgeous. The communal spaces are huge. Take your pushbikes with you, the two tunnels bike ride is a must. We would definitely go back

    Andrew2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beth’s unique and quirky house. We needed space for six couples to escape for the weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday and this was a perfect party space. There were lots of thoughtful touches and the place was well equipped making it a real home from home. We have so many special memories and would definitely recommend a stay here.

    Tracey2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely delighted with our stay at the Manor House! From booking Beth’s communication was spot on, really helpful local info and the smoothest of check ins. The house and setting are beautiful, it’s such a welcoming, quirky, chic and very well cared for home that we all fell a little bit in love. The massive cloud-comfy beds and the stunning candle lit conservatory were particular favorites, and the gorgeous huge dining table and well equipped kitchen made hosting for 14 a breeze - we could have comfortably added another 6-8! Perfect spot for accessing Bath but having your own piece of spacious countryside tranquility to enjoy great company. Thank you Beth, hoping to visit again!

    Helen2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy, welcoming old house, great for our 3-generation family group. Big, well equipped kitchen was the heart of the home for us, leading out to the back garden and to the wonderful Victorian conservatory where we did most of our eating - and chatting late into the evening by candlelight. Lovely garden is fully enclosed at the back so ideal for small children to play shuttlecocks, hide and seek etc. While spacious, the house still has a cosy feel- fewer stairs than I expected as the Tudor wing is only a few steps up from the grand first floor, and the third floor only a short flight higher so nowhere feels remote. Space for people to chill on their own as well. Old and eclectic furniture and furnishings give a homely feel. Thanks Beth, great weekend. Also a mention for Homewood hotel, 3 miles away, who did us a great birthday lunch party.

    Jill2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was great! The whole house was so charming and perfect for a hen party for 14 of us. Amazing location and such a beautiful house. Beth was exceptionally helpful and response was very timely. The garden and common spaces were great, as well as a beautiful dining room for a big meal for all. Would recommend and come back if ever need a property in the same area!

The wifi has issues, even in areas it has full signal, but sometimes it is nice to be disconnected. The farm animals are a must-see.

  • Top place to stay can't recommend it enough. We had a family get together of four generations ranging from 4 up to 73 years of age and every family member loved it here and are still raving about it. Stunning and peaceful location but within easy reach to local amenities. We will be returning most definitely :-)

  • Penny & Richard's place is outstanding from every viewpoint. The location is picturesque in the extreme, the house has every amenity and the estate has a great range of wild life both domestic and "au natural". The service had lots of lovely touches withcake and tea waiting for us in our arrival. It is an easy car ride into Bath, Bristol & Cirencester where there is plenty to entertain every preference. We thoroughly recommend this venue.

    Sean2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • We celebrated my 30th birthday with some friends and had such a fantastic time. Richard gave us an informative briefing on the house and welcomed us in. The house is well equipped and the bedding is all good quality and super comfortable. The hot tub is a great feature and the drawing room was almost too warm on a cold day with the fire blazing. A cosy spot in a beautiful village with picturesque walks. The walnut cake was a great touch! Thank you Penny!

    Filippo2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house and grounds, we had a family celebration and everybody had a wonderful time. If there were any minor concerns, for example a light not working then this was fixed very promptly. Children loved the hot tub, the outdoor games and the animals. Thank you

    Caroline2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay here. The setting and house were heavenly! We came with a group of 6 friends from the US for a quiet time in the English countryside. The location and situation of River House was about as perfect as it can get. We enjoyed walks through the woodlands, sitting out in the garden, and the peaceful serenity of quiet evenings. The train station is a short, lovely walk away and a quick ride into Bath for a day of sightseeing. We visited many other local landmarks on day trips. It took us less than an hour to drive to Tintern Abbey in Wales. The house itself was great for accommodating us. It holds plenty of people—especially with the coach house. It is an old house—300 years or so in some parts—so that always comes with its own bit of challenges, especially with plumbing. But overall we had very little trouble. The house is clean and tastefully decorated, preserving its ancient history while still having all the modern amenities and a gorgeous kitchen. Penny and Richard were wonderful hosts and took great care of us without being intrusive. We used the hired chef for one meal and it was delicious and so fun! If I ever come to the Bath area again, I will most definitely stay here.

    Julienne2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • The River House is an iconic venue infused with history amongst beautiful rural surroundings. We attended as a party of 13 and found there to be ample space for all, amazing hospitality and plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep us busy. I would not hesitate to recommend the River House. Thank you Penny and Richard once again for your amazing hospitality.

  • The annex is a fantastic place to stay, lots of room and very homely. The added extras of the bean bags, wii, breakfast items were all great. We found the location to be really good for longleat and walking distance from pub/shop/takeaways. Loved the information about what the annex had been before!

  • Lovely, self contained annex ... One of the best air b and bs we have stayed in.

  • We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend staying here. For us it was a convenient overnight stay after a Center Parcs spa day and before a day in Bath. The place is wonderfully clean, clear information about how to use the amenities and lots of nice touches to make our stay so comfortable. It’s lovely and quiet and I had the best nights sleep I have had for ages. We didn’t end up going out on the evening because we had so much fun playing on the WII games!

    Rachel2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • A sweet immaculate tiny private annexe house in good distance for many Wiltshire and Somerset attractions. Space to park, though it’s a tiny dead end lane so smaller car manoeuvring easier. It’s embedded in a housing estate with local shops walkable. Living areas are warm and cosy, but bring your slippers for the kitchen is a bit nippy. We had a lovely peaceful stay!

Quick to cool on those hazy hot summer days This gorgeous loft apartment is very comfortable and has a lovely atmosphere.
Bradford On Avon is a delightful place. You'll love hanging out in the local coffee shops and cafes'.. The locals are super friendly and always open to a little natter. We highly recommend walks along the canal towards Bath - you could even hire bikes and cycle along it, beautiful all year round. Or explore all the little paths through the town, check out some of the beautiful homes and huge houses.
  • Wow what a great place! Very cozy with everything you need. Great location too! 10/10 would stay again.

  • We enjoyed our stay at Daisy's flat. The other reviews are right that the entrance stairwell is a bit dark but once you're in the flat is absolutely fine. A quirky flat with all the amenities you need. Great to be able to go out into Bradford on Avon for food and shopping. We got the train into Bath for the day which was very convenient.

    Bradford-on-Avon, United Kingdom

Number 18 is a 200 year old cottage, tucked away down a lane in the village of Wingfield. It is 20 minutes by road or train from historic Bath and 5 minutes from beautiful Bradford-on-Avon and close to Longleat. We offer a warm welcome to all visitors, including families or couples. It is a quiet retreat from which to explore the local area, and ideal for a romantic getaway. It offers an escape to the country, whilst being close to many interesting and historic places. Well behaved dogs welcome.
Number 18 Loves Lane, is a cosy little cottage, built in the 1800's of Bath stone, by the Love Family for the workers on their estate. It is at the end of a row of 5 cottages which are all different, giving the row a unique character which has led to them being considered worthy of a Grade 2 listing. The accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with a king size bed that can convert into twin beds - (PLEASE NOTE THE CHOICE IS A KING SIZE BED OR 2 SINGLES - NOT BOTH), we can also provide a travel cot and high chair. The lounge has a 3 seater sofa, an arm chair, a dining table and a log burner for cosy evenings in, with logs and kindling provided for your first fire. Further logs can be purchased at cost price from us. There is another Airbnb cottage (Number 16) 2 doors away which could be booked with Number 18 for larger families: https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/24785455?source_impression_id=p3_1584828192_ceRbtLwKxaGxwze0 There is a modern, well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, oven and an induction hob as well as a Nespresso coffee machine and toaster. The newly renovated, downstairs bathroom has a lovely shower and a small bath. As is usual in a cottage of this age, the stairs are steep and there is one doorway that can catch out the unwary (and tall) as it is rather low. Your comfort and enjoyment are really important to us and so Number 18 is furnished to the standard and style we would want when holidaying. It is a characterful, individual and eclectic space with many interesting touches, for instance curtains made of old French linen sheets with the initials of the couple who owned them embroidered on the fabric, and a lovely old artist's table as well as old, wooden floorboards throughout. All linens and towels are provided. Further towels can be provided for those wanting a swim in the river, just a mile away. Number 18 has been described by our guests as "quaint", "secluded", "romantic" and "an ideal location for quiet, cosy nights in." The village of Wingfield has a popular pub, The Poplars, which is within walking distance, a school and a church; it is a quiet base from which to explore.
Number 18 is situated in a small lane in the small village of Wingfield which is on the Somerset/Wiltshire border. Wingfield has a popular, dog-friendly pub within walking distance of the cottage, but no village shop. Bath is 20 minutes away by car or train. Bristol, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Cheddar Gorge and Frome are all easily accessible as are many local attractions such as Longleat, Iford Manor, Great Chalfield Manor and Garden, The Courts Garden, Farleigh Hungerford as well as splendid Stourhead and many other places of interest. The very popular Glass Hub which run glass courses is only 1 mile away. There are ample opportunities to use National Trust membership locally. There is wild swimming in the river at Farleigh Hungerford. The area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and dog owners. Bradford-on-Avon is very close and it has a supermarket and independent shops and a variety of good places to eat as well as lovely walks and bike rides along the canal (bikes can be hired). Nearby Trowbridge is the county town of Wiltshire. Frome is famous for its independent shops and its monthly independent market. We are close to the Bath and West Showground which holds various events through the year including Flea Markets (marvellous!) and the Agricultural Show. There is a fabulous Christmas market in Bath and at the end of the year Longleat puts on its Festival of Light and firework show. Wingfield is a great base to explore the area. Bath has a fabulous annual Christmas market with hundreds of great stalls. Film and TV locations There are also many film and tv locations close by. Some of the interior sequences in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" were filmed at Lacock. The BBC's "Wolf Hall" and "Robin Hood of Sherwood" used the Tithe Barn and surrounding areas in Bradford On Avon as well as the film "Creation" and "The White Princess". Corsham doubled up for Truro in "Poldark" and Great Chalfield Manor was also used for "Poldark" and "Wolf Hall". The lake at Fonthill Bishop was used for river scenes in the film, "Chocolat" There are many other film and tv locations within easy reach of the cottage and there is information about this in the cottage.

  • Gillian was an amazing host, she went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. When we arrived Gillian had turned the lights and heating on ready for our arrival, fresh flowers, scones and Prosecco also awaited us! The cottage is beautiful, it’s homely and in a good location. On arrival you’ll also find a welcome book which has everything you need to know re the cottage and suggestions of local attractions, so you can relax with a cup of tea in the cosy lounge and plan your visit! When faced with a small hiccup during our stay- Gillian was quick to respond and offer a solution. There is a lovely farm cafe, white row farm a 10minute drive away where we enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast. We can highly recommend Gillian as a host and we will be visiting again later on this year! :)

    Faith2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the Cottage, it exceeded expectations! The thoughtful extra touches (such as scones, clotted cream & jam) were a really nice bonus! The place was clean, comfy, and cozy. And we'd definitely recommend this little gem of a find.

    Nick2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A little gem! Gillian is a lovely host who made us both feel very welcome. Her cottage is spotlessly clean and her attention to detail excellent. The fresh scones, cream, jam, teas and coffee much appreciated along with the lovely fresh flowers. You need only your own food and drink for a visit! Excellent stay!

    Caroline2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this place. Everything a good Airbnb should be. Full of thoughtful little touches, and rugs everywhere to make you cosy and comfortable!

    Richard2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem of a cottage! Comfortable, clean and cosy, with lots of charm. Communication with Gillian was excellent. On arrival, we enjoyed a delicious cream tea, and later on... a glass or two of nicely chilled Prosecco in front of the log burner. These much appreciated touches that made our stay feel special. With good proximity to Bath, it made a perfect base.

    Christina2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time staying in Gillian's cosy cottage. We very much appreciated the delicious home-made scones and bottle of Prosecco that was waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived, and enjoyed curling up on the sofa with the wood burning stove going (logs provided!) after the kids were in bed. The cottage was clean throughout: the bedrooms were light and airy with comfortable beds. There were plenty of fresh, clean towels and toiletries in the bathroom, and the large shower head was very luxurious. Gillian was friendly and very quick to respond to questions, and greeted us on arrival and popped round to check we'd had a good time (we had!) on departure. The cottage was well situated: very close to Bradford on Avon, and only about fifteen minutes drive from Bath. One thing to be aware of: while the kitchen was well equipped otherwise, there didn't appear to be a microwave in the kitchen, or much storage space for large amounts of food. We didn't need either on our weekend stay (and therefore didn't mention this to Gillian: perhaps if we had she would have sorted something out), but you might want to know this if you are planning a longer stay. Thumbs up all round!

    Rich2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We just stayed at Gillians little cottage for the week. What a lovely place. Gillian has thought of everything you could need to make your stay stress free. There were fresh cut flowers, scones which were delicious and she also went out of her way and provided oat milk, as I had mentioned we don't drink cows milk. During our stay, the neighbours had arranged some tree felling, ad there was a little bit of noise, this hadn't bothered us, but Gillian brought us some vegan cakes and a little card to apologise for the noise. What a lovely touch. The cottage is close enough to all the local attractions. Theres lots of information about the local area in the cottage of you're stuck for things to do. Our daughter enjoyed the use of the binoculars whilst visiting Longleat Safari Park. All in all, a fantastic week at the little cottage.

Not quite a barn and not really a cottage, to let. Therefore, a "Barnlet"! Birch Barnlet is 1 of 3 barnlets which are individually self contained or ideal for a group of 3 couples, all set in the gardens of our house. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area! Great base for Bath Christmas market - a short car or train journey away. Loads of walks, beautiful countryside and close to Longleat ( 11 miles). Simple, cosy space. Perfect for a couple looking to get away from all things busy...
A cosy little place for two that has a great location with accessibility to lots of interesting places - Longleat is close, with Stourhead and Stonehenge also not far away and you can see the Westbury White Horse from your patio. Bath, Frome and Bradford on Avon are all worth a visit. The nearest town is Trowbridge, which has several restaurants and an Odeon cinema. Two local pubs - The Farmhouse (Southwick) and The Moon (Rudge) - this is a charming "real pub" which is about a 30-40 minute stroll.
The property is on a lane (about a mile from civilisation), with neighbours on both sides, but other than that, we share the area with lots of fields, cows, horses and birds. There is a farm shop about a mile away, with a mini Tescos a bit further.
  • We booked Hayley’s place for a long weekend. Hayley is simply amazing, she’s friendly, communication with her was very easy and quick, she gave us a lot of useful information about the area, the things to do and places to go. The bungalow is located in a lovely place, between farms where if you’re lucky enough can see and meet some new friend, called sheep, cows, horses. We loved so much the style of the interior, we felt so cozy in there. We spent some relaxing mornings and nights here, and had everything in the kitchen to make breakfast or cook, bake something proper. We are pleased to could stay here and would recommend it to anyone who needs a bit of escape from any big city life.

  • Great place to stay Hayley was great and went above the call of duty to give directions , check in , heaters on all fab when we arrived The wine and biscuits were an added touch. Will definitely stay again loved the accommodation x

  • Was a perfect stay for a long weekend away in Bath. Super quick responses, easy checkin, exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.

    Josh2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • A real little slice of paradise! Hayley is wonderful and sent us detailed instructions on how to find the Barnlets. The use of the Three Word App provided the best directions as the postcode sends you straight passed the gate. Check in was super easy with a lock box so the fact we arrived slightly earlier than expected wasn’t a problem. We stayed in Birch and it was so good we are already looking at when we can return. The kitchen was small but perfectly formed with everything you could need. Including the added bonus of a few little extras to see you through the first night. The two comfy armchairs looked out over the field as we were at the beginning of the block of three. There is no tv or WiFi which was actually very restful and peaceful. We listened to the rain and the sheep instead. The bedroom was a lot bigger than I had expected with a full wardrobe and chest of drawers. We both slept well despite the mattress seeming a little tired and passed it’s best. The bathroom is off the bedroom and again a good size with a spacious shower at the end. The shower didn’t have a lot of power to it but was lovely and hot. The water supply in general was quite noisy, especially when you flushed the toilet, so we made sure it was a reasonable hour before doing so! Lol The whole Barnlet is filled with beautiful beams and a lovely neutral decor. We were there in December and it was warm and cosy. We visited the Festival of Lights at Longleat Safari Park, which is approx 20 mins away. Bath is about 30 mins the other way so it was perfectly situated for both. All in all we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hayley and her Barnlets. We will definitely be back to hide from the world. Next time we will bring a couple of board games with us as well. Perfect for a get away from it all sort of break. Thanks Hayley

    Jules2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Hayley’s place was the perfect weekend get away - very chilled, perfect distance to visit the city of Bath and lovely to come back to after the busy Christmas markets. Very easy check in and local recommendations for dinner made our visit even better - thanks for a great stay!

I didn’t get a chance to look around the town, but it seems lovely and it was in good proximity to the train station if you want a quieter area but close enough to get to Bath quickly! Marsha and Dave were absolutely wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make sure my stay was good. This studio felt safe as a solo traveler and they left toast, tea, coffee and yummy marmalade for me. From the soft sheets, to the towel warmer, to the shower head, everything was great! I hope to return.

My recently refurbished self contained annexe is both modern and comfortable and situated in a quiet affluent area of Trowbridge just 25 minutes from Bath. Offering a generous space for one or two people, can also accommodate up to four with the two additional sofa beds in the living area. Babies and toddlers are well catered for with a high chair and travel cot which also has a detachable baby changer.
The annexe has one double bedroom including a double bed with memory foam mattress, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and full length mirror. The bathroom is a good family size with shower over the bath. The living room is very spacious with a T.V and built in DVD player and two sofa beds which convert very easily to generous size single beds. The dining area seats 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, oven, halogen hob, integrated fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The property also has gas central heating, wifi and driveway parking.
Springfield Park is situated in a quiet residential area of Trowbridge just a 10 minute walk away from the town centre. There is a local corner shop at the end of the road and also a large supermarket within walking distance.
  • A lovely large space. Plenty of room for 4 people. Nicci was a great host, answering all communication quickly and popping in to see that we were ok and if we needed anything after we arrived. She even left a pint of milk in the fridge and some welcome biscuits. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The children were delighted with the large array of games and DVDs and the sofa's converted easily into 2 double beds. There is a lovely little space to sit outside (which we would have if it wasn't raining!). We will be back next time we are in the area.

    Natasha2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Nicci's place was lovely, clean and just a 10 min walk into the town so very convenient

  • A lovely, comfortable, self contained getaway ideal for breaking up a trip to the southwest or as a base for exploring the region. We didn't go out anywhere nearby so cannot comment on local amenities but the annexe was perfect for an overnight stay. Warm and cosy with lots of DVDs and games. Woke up ready for a full day in Bath which is only about 20 minutes drive from here.

    John2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place with a lovely host. We arrived later than expected, but Nicci was nice enough to check in that everything was okay with us the following morning. Lovely touch of milk in the fridge and access to all things you would have in your own home. The place is clean, comfortable, and we had more than enough space.

**BOOK AND PAY FOR YOUR OWN CAMPSITE** We pre-position our VW Camper to one of three Campsites near Bradford On Avon, 5 miles East of Bath - these are our favourite camping sites :- Merkins Farm, Stowford Manor, Orchard Farm. Mr Pink is our stunning VW Split Screen Campervan. He is a very striking van, with a pale sand and cream exterior perfectly matched with a beautiful bespoke interior. He is simply a very classy van.
Mr Pink is a beautiful 1971 Vintage VW Camper Van that can be pre-positioned to site of your choice we recommend either... Merkins Farm (Approx £17 per night for the pitch) http://www.merkinsfarm.com/camping-holiday-cottage/campsite or Stowford Manor www.stowfordmanor.co.uk You will need to make your own arrangements for a pitch at a campsite (you will also need to budget separately for this as a private arrangement with the campsite) preferably with an electric hookup in the winter! Just let us know where you have booked to stay and we will make sure that he is there waiting for you, and we will collect him for you at the end of your stay. A hassle free way to enjoy the authentic full Vintage Camper Van experience, without the authentic breaking down! He has an electric heater and heated blanket to stay cosy on those winter nights! No need to worry about the driving either...
My home town of Bradford on Avon (BoA) has a lovely campsite called Merkins Farm (April to end Oct only) http://www.merkinsfarm.com and does cracking breakfasts, open to 4pm (last orders hot food 3:15pm) , Stowford Manor, or in the Winter months Bath Marina Caravan Park (Great for Bath Christmas market) It's a half hour walk to the many pubs and restaurants of BoA, and from there the train to Bristol is 30 minutes, Bath 15 mins, Cardiff 1 hour and London 2hours. BoA has a 25m indoor swimming Pool, a river, and a canal with canal side walks and beautiful buildings such as the Saxon Church built in the early 11th Century and the Tithe Barn area with it’s several small shops and an excellent coffee shop. Here is some youtube drone footage of BoA, just cut and paste to your browser. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLC4X59b4F8 From the Tithe Barn it is possible to take a 30 minute walk along the canal or river (which run side by side) along to the Aqueduct at Avoncliff and stop for a drink at the Cross Guns, with its excellent terraced beer garden that goes right down to the river and overlooks the weir. You can then continue another 20mins through the fields to the village of Freshford and pause at the Inn at Freshford for some refreshment, or check the train timetable and catch the train back to Bradford. Another option is to rent a bicycle from the opposite side of the road to the the nearby Lock Inn which is another excellent canalside place in Bradford for a bite to eat or another coffee! It is possible to cycle along the canal path to Bath in about an hour depending on you fitness, and it is all flat. On the way, there is a gem of a country pub called the Hop Pole in the village of Limpley Stoke half way to Bath, which has a log fire on the colder evenings and not a television in sight, but you do need to come off the canal path by about half a mile to get to Limpley Stoke. It is a beautiful area with so much more to see, and that is just in Bradford’s immediate area...

A short drive away and you are in Bradford-on-Avon with a river and canal , a tithe barn and many lovely pubs and restaurants.
  • The stables was a perfect choice! My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It provided all the little essentials and more with a lovely breakfast hamper included. There was 2 high quality tvs with full catch up tv app/Netflix facility for cosy nights in. Lots of room for parking and a very quiet area even with the neighbours in the other cottages. The surrounding area was perfect for us. We tried Ravello, an Italian in Bradford on Avon as a birthday meal (would 100% recommend) only a 5 min drive so a quick taxi ride if you would like to have a drink, the 2 pubs in the village are also very good for both drinks and lunch. I would also recommend the Refa tandoori restaurant in Melksham, very friendly staff and great food. There really is lots to do in the area and Bath is so close you cannot be bored! If you like both relaxing in quaint little villages but also having the city so close by to pop into - this is definitely a place to consider!

  • Ray and Katy's AirB&B was delightful, they were both respectable and professional hosts and remained attentive throughout the stay. They provided a breakfast pack and essentials which are perfect for when you arrive and want the arrival cup of tea. The AirB&B is tastefully decorated and the hosts provide a comprehensive guidebook, allowing you to plan and explore the local areas. The bed was comfy and dressed in luxury linens, which provided a great nights sleep, no noise from the road either. The bathroom boasts luxury toiletries and towels, which were perfect after a long day out exploring. The Local area is beautiful and just taking a walk around the picturesque village was calming and relaxing. Being in close proximity to Bath (30 Minute Drive) was beneficial as it made visiting easy.

The kitchen is a great space and has everything you need if you want to prepare anything (and a fantastic little breakfast pack). The lounge area is very comfy and cosy. The bed is extremely comfortable and the shower room is again finished to a brilliant standard and has some lovely toiletries. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed some of the beautiful local places that were recommended, including dinner one night at the local pub (yum!). Thank you Ray and Katy for a great stay.

Very quiet room as it does not face a road but instead looks over a park with a very lovely oak tree. Westbury is a convenient location for it's transport links. You can get a direct train to London in 1hr25m, Bristol in 35 mins or Bath in about 25 mins. Westbury train station is about a 5 min drive from the property (20 min walk). The area is safe and quiet and there's an area nearby with a good pizza place, a wine bar and a Tesco Express.
This listing is for 1 room in a 3 bedroom house, however we are also renting the room adjacent to this one so, if you are travelling as a family, you can book both rooms if needed. In the park that's pictured there is a small children's play area which might be useful to know if you're travelling with little ones. There are only 2 of us living in the house. I work from home so I'm in most of the time and my wife works in Bath.
The house is in a residential area, situated right next to a quiet park. Within 6 minutes walking distance is a local shop as well as some local restaurants and a wine bar. A little further out is Aldi and then the town centre is about a 25 minute walk from the house. If you're looking for a scenic walk then it's really nice to go up to the White Horse - it's the famous horse which has been carved into the hillside at Bratton Downs. You can park at the top and walk right up to the horse. There's quite a large area you can walk around up there with great views from all sides.
  • William & Sheyde are great hosts, very good communication and very friendly. The room is ideal for a business trip, good internet and a comfy bed.

  • Will and Sheyde are a relaxed and down-to-earth couple. They were very welcoming during my stay and had an air of being very used to being around new people. This meant that they were easy to approach for advice and company. Their home is exceptionally clean, warm and comfy. I can't fault any part of my stay. I would seriously recommend you consider staying with them whenever you visit Westbury.

Great places to visit locally. The National Trust Court gardens are 100 yards away. The Glove Factory Studios where you can have coffee/food is only 500 yards. Lovely walks in the countryside including one to Great Chalfield Manor. Harry who runs the local shop is lovely and has most things you might need. • Stayed in bad weather as a single person to read and get some work done. It was lovely and toasty, sofa is so comfortable and I loved the little lights. The bedroom also a very zen space. Both Paul and Julia are very kind, communicative and accommodating and did everything they could to make our stay as nice as possible. Was room was so nice, and it realy felt homely. Katie was a great host, and the atmosphere were extraordinary. The breakfast were lovely. Different kind of bread, cerial, müsli, there was yougurt and juice, and of cause, coffee, different kinds of Tea, and hot chokolade. The hottub were a real treat in the colds days! I would recommend a stay in Katies lovely cottage, and Bradford on Avon didnt disappoint! Such a gorgeous city.

Only 20 mins from Bath this stylish, 18th century cottage has been furnished beautifully. The interior is abundant with subtle colours combined with exquisite, upholstered furniture. No luxury or attention to detail has been over-looked. The cottage sleeps 6 comfortably, in 3 double bedrooms. There are two bathrooms . The cottage is down a very quiet pedestrian walkway adjacent to the well known National Trust “The Courts” gardens, built originally as one of the workers cottages for The Courts.
This recently restored country cottage is quintessentially English, with a Shaker style handmade kitchen - with its very own well which is covered over with glass in the floor of the kitchen. There is a small utility area which takes you to the back door with a sink. Just off the kitchen is a wet room (shower and WC). The living space benefits from roof Velux windows, so is very light and airy. Throughout the house there are wonderful splashes of colours and array of beautifully upholstered furniture. The open planned living space is home to a cosy log burner in the centre. There is a TV in this space too. The generous dining room offers seating for up to 8 people around a large wooden table. There is an additional cosy snug, which is bathed in sunshine in the morning and ideal for some private time. The first floor has three bedrooms, 1 king overlooking the garden and two doubles overlooking the National Trust Courts gardens, a large family bathroom and a landing with a plentiful supply of books that you are welcome to read.
Holt is a lovely, historic village. Home to two excellent pubs both serving locally sourced, fresh food daily. There is a handy village shop, moments from the house and wonderful ' The Courts' gardens are on the doorstep with stunning gardens - an example of an early 20th century garden together with arboretum, working kitchen garden. formal garden and orchard. Within a 15 minute walk is also the fabulous Great Chalfield Manor, often used for many TV and film productions, including “Wolf Hall” and “Poldark”. This is a wonderful area for walking too, just across the road from the back garden, walk towards the Glove factory and continue past and along the fields towards Great Chalfield. The famous village of Lackham is within easy driving distance, where many episodes of Harry Potter were filmed. Lacock Abbey and the beautiful gardens are a must. We recommend the local 'Glove Factory' for yummy lunches and delicious cakes. It also has a fabulous garden and next door a park for children. The Glove Factory also can arrange food for events and offers space (and food) for larger groups.
  • Fantastic space. Would highly recommend

  • A beautiful house which was extremely comfortable for our 2 night stay. The travel-cot and highchair were perfect for our 10 month old and my 3 year old adored saying hello to the chickens each morning!

  • Wonderful home, perfect blend of old charm and modern comfort. Will not disappoint.

    Jon2019-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful home in a beautiful location. This property is incredibly well equipped and is spotlessly clean. Wonderful areas to be together and socialise and a snug for quiet time. The wood burner is a lovely bonus which we used all weekend. The local pub, the Tollgate has great food and friendly staff and the park and ride into Bath was easy and good value. Would love to return soon.

A Super clean, homely and still modern, beautiful place, you can tell he loves hosting people immediately. He made me feel right at home, and even drove me to the train station in the next town, when I missed my train to work! Nick is a real Superhost!

  • Lucy’s place was absolutely perfect for us. Commutation from Lucy was excellent, she helped us with everything we needed, directions to the property were perfect and instructions on how to enter the property with the lock box was great. Lucy’s accommodation is spotlessly clean, her partner came along to make sure everything was okay as well as Lucy messaging to make sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to be back in the area and to stay here again. Would recommend to anyone.

UPDATE: COTTAGE IS SELF-CONTAINED IN A RURAL, PEACEFUL AREA SO WE ARE TAKING BOOKINGS. Granby Cottage is a newly refurbished, warm, self-contained two bed-roomed bungalow within the grounds of Granby House, which itself is set within 12 acres and is the largest residence within Bradford On Avon. We are a rural, peaceful retreat - but half a mile from the centre of town. We keep free range chickens so you can have fresh eggs daily!
Granby Cottage has two large comfortable bedrooms (one with an ensuite which has a shower), one large sitting room with a 50 inch TV, real fire and a dining area, a kitchen and shower room / toilet and your own patio area. It has its own WI FI for you to use. Dogs are very welcome (there is one dog bed) for well behaved furry friends - we do have three gorgeous and friendly show spaniels ourselves: Mungo, Margo and Coco. We provide: shampoo, conditioner, coffee, tea and milk as well as a guidebook for relevant local information you may find helpful. And dog blankets after muddy walks and treats! There are extra pillows and blankets to snuggle up with in front of a great DVD and a real fire - but the cottage is warmly centrally heated - temperature is controlled by you. Granby Cottage is set within 12 acres of green belt and you are very welcome to walk your dog(s) around the main grounds (albeit we do have polo ponies on the back fields). We want you to have a restful and enjoyable break in wonderful Wiltshire. Email me if I can help with anything.
Bradford on Avon is a stunning historic town with lots of independent restaurants and coffee shops. Granby Cottage is conveniently situated just 1 mile away from the town centre (less than 5 minutes drive to the town), and only 0.5 miles to the local Sainsburys which you will find very handy. The local train station is just a 12 minute train journey to the centre of Bath. There are two dog friendly pubs either side of us which are a 12 minute walk away. You will not be bothered by traffic, lights or planes!
  • This cottage is in a charming location, set in beautiful grounds, convenient for Bradford-on-Avon. The place is warm and welcoming, the living room fire is the perfect place to relax in front of in the evening. The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable with nice bed linen and plenty of towels. The dog was made welcome with toys, treats and a comfy bed. We will be sure to stay again when we’re in the area.

  • Jane and Robert were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The Annex was just what we were looking for... very bright and cosy and welcoming. There's lots of space and it was perfect for the four of us. Jane's welcome basket of food was great, as were the many eco-friendly touches in the Annex. Great access to Bath and Bradford on Avon. Will go again if we have the chance!

    Stewart2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jane is an amazing host; very accommodating and kind, her annexe is separated from the main house and feels very private. It has a cosy living room with fireplace and exit to the garden, spacious hallway with kitchen, and a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. There is a sofa bed too but we didn’t need to use it as we were just 3 girls and happily shared the bedroom. The bathroom was clean and with underfloor heating. Plenty of towels were available and there was breakfast items ready for us in the kitchen like bread, pastry, cereal bars, fresh milk from the countryside, coffee, jams etc. - very nice touches. We are very happy with our stay! Jane let us meet their dogs too, which melted our hearts.

7 Wine Street Terrace, with beautiful views of the Kennet & Avon Canal and the Westbury White Horse is situated in the beautiful, historic town of Bradford-on-Avon. Just 10-minutes' walk from the train station, it's the perfect base for exploring Bath (and its amazing Christmas market), Bristol and the surrounding area. Tucked away off the main road, this newly renovated beautiful home is a peaceful haven with award-winning restaurants, pubs, quaint boutique shops and delis a gentle amble away.
You will have 7 Wine Street Terrace, a stone-built house that dates from 1700s, to yourself during your stay. This delightful hideaway is a home, the owner Pete is away for prolonged periods of time, and his presence is only felt via a few books and knick knacks. The self-catering cottage is fully equipped and has been recently refurbished to a high standard and sleeps up to 2 people. The cottage benefits from a comprehensively equipped modern kitchen with a dining table that seats four if you wish to have guests over in the evening. In the sitting room area you'll find comfy designer reading chairs, sofa, TV and a log burner – perfect for cosy nights in. The newly-refurbished bathroom has a large, walk-in shower and illuminated mirror above the sink. The bedroom consists of a comfortable double bed, fluffy duvet with high-count cotton bedding, chest of drawers and mirror. Hidden behind a quirky, sliding barn door you'll find a washer-drier, ironing board and iron. Outside, the well-maintained garden has a paved seating area that is the perfect, peaceful spot to take in the view, listen to the birds and share a bottle of wine. With your stay at the cottage, you will be welcomed by tea, coffee and milk supplies, biscuits and breakfast cereal. Fresh bedlinen and towels will also be provided. In the winter months, for stays of two nights and more we'll lay a fire ready to go in the log burner. Wood for further nights can be supplied at £5 a bag. The cottage also benefits from: - Free unlimited and speedy Wi-Fi for guests who bring their own laptop & internet devices. - Flat screen TV with access to Netflix and BBC iPlayer - Bluetooth speaker - Shower with 24-hour on-demand hot water - Central heating - Fan oven, electric hob, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine, washing/dryer machine, dishwasher - Hairdryer - Iron and ironing board - FREE on street parking Check-in time is from 4pm and check out is at 10.30am. Please note: Free parking is on Wine Street, which is a one-way road accessed at the top of the town. You can usually find a space, and it could mean a short 3 minute walk to the house. 7 Wine Street Terrace is a little gem that's tucked away on a traffic-less lane, which is a little steep in places, so please take note if you have mobility issues. Access to the cottage is via steps, and through a winding path to the front door. People with mobility issues may find the stairs both outside and in the house difficult to negotiate. Although there is room for a baby/toddler travel cot in the bedroom, due to the open, wooden stairs with no handrail (see photos) we do not feel it would be suitable. It is also for this reason we do not recommend that dogs stay. However, please do contact us as we are flexible, but you will be staying at your own risk. No smoking.
Weavers Cottage is tucked away in the beautiful town of Bradford-on-Avon, United Kingdom. Voted as the best place in to live in England by the Sunday Times in 2015, come and see this picturesque, Instagram-worthy miniature Georgian-style town which has been the backdrop to many TV and film productions. The town's history goes back many centuries. Take time to wander down to the Saxon Church, cross the river to the Tithe barn, and explore the wonder of the Bath stone architecture in The Shambles. If you want to learn more, our museum is packed with archeological finds - revealing the town to be an important trading hub for over a millennia. If you arrive by train, you'll step onto the platform of the pretty station designed and built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. We're proud that our station has direct links to London, Bristol. Once you've settled into the cottage, take a walk down into the town through the narrow lanes, stop off and take in the breathtaking view at the Chapel of St Mary Tory (we'll give you a map), then visit our independent shops. If you love your food, you'll love Bradford-on-Avon, from gastro pubs to a tapas restaurant, Italian eateries to a Thai restaurant you'll be spoiled for choice - you can even walk along the canal to The Lock Inn and dine on a canal boat or in the garden of the Canal Tavern. If time is tight, we have some lovely cafes too - for example, take afternoon tea on fine bone china at the Victorian Bridge Tea rooms, enjoy light lunches and lovely homemade cakes at The Teapot, or grab a snack in the ancient Coffee Barn near the canal. After you've eaten, you'll want to burn off those calories. Swim a few lengths at the indoor pool next to the river, or take advantage of the many walking routes in the area. Why not take a stroll along the canal to Avoncliff where you may be lucky enough to spot Heron, Kingfishers and deer roaming on the opposite bank? You can also hire bikes in the town, and ride the 10 miles along the canal to Bath - the large Georgian city and popular tourist attraction. Famous for its beautiful architecture, Roman Baths, grand cathedral and not forgetting the world-famous Christmas market (18 Nov- 15 Dec 2019). If you're after more relaxing break, you can reach Bath by train in 15 minutes. Bradford-on-Avon’s is a central location that is perfect as a base to discover Wiltshire, Somerset and Avon.
  • Really great hosts and a lovely place to spend a weekend.

  • We had a perfect stay in this lovely space. Everything was sparkling clean and easy to use. We even had a continental breakfast made up for us and a few extra treats, which was a really thoughtful touch. Can’t recommend enough - we will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our Valentine’s weekend away so special!

  • Charming, stylish, convenient, super clean, and with thoughtful hosts! Lou and Ryan made our stay easy with recommendations from where to park to what to eat — plus, they left us milk, fruit, bread, and other snacks to make our weekend tea breaks even nicer. The cottage has lots of stylish furniture and is just the right size for two people. Storm Ciara hit Saturday night and we lit the fire they'd laid and cosied up! The cottage is a stunning 7min walk downhill through a charming warren of hillside paths to town. There are great local pubs (with local ale), independent shops and highlyrated restaurants — everyone in town was authentic and friendly. Great countryside walks in BoA and easy trains to Bath and Bristol. A relaxing car-free weekend in the country!

  • This is a gem of a place, warm clean and a super comfy bed. Lovely views and walking distance to the town. We had no problem with parking in the road below cottage. Bradford on Avon has loads of lovely bars and eating places our favourite being Pablo’s tapas. Perfect to take the train into Bath and many lovely walks along the canal. We can’t recommend this cottage highly enough.

  • Super stylish, compact, bijou house. Well equipped and cosy with fabulous views and comfy walking distance to station and restaurants as long as you are prepared for Bradford on Avon's hills! Really felt like we had a loan of a home and not just some anonymous, bland self catering accommodation. Beautiful in January so must be amazing in the warmer months.

  • Everything we could of wanted and needed from our stay. Lovely, clean and modern place with welcoming treats which were very appreciated! Fast responses and helpful information. Would highly recommend!

Not quite a barn and not really a cottage, to let. Therefore, a "Barnlet"! Lime Barnlet is 1 of 3 barnlets which are individually self contained or ideal for a group of 3 couples, all set in the gardens of our house.

  • An excellent place to stay for a short break, to unwind and decompress from the hustle and bustle. Amazing value for such a well kept, clean and cosy barnlet. And great hosts!
