  • A wonderful cabin, exactly what we needed to get away. Far enough from civilization (and cell reception) to feel like we were truly away, but close enough to everything to explore, we were able to relax and celebrate a wonderful anniversary. Can’t wait to go back!

  • This adorable cabin definitely is the perfect place for an unplugged weekend! The property is so beautiful had just down the road there are beautiful mountain views. The cabin itself was clean and everything was easy to find. My husband loved how rustic and "Vermonty" everything was. Highly highly recommend!

  • It's much more beautiful in person! We definitely recommend staying here. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, including a few board games. It was the perfect size for us, and we're looking forward to staying again soon!

This two bedroom guest house offers a cozy interior and its own great views. Play on the property's 32 acres or explore the Northeast Kingdom and surrounding areas where you will find family friendly activities, hiking, biking, skiing, antiquing, and a thriving local food and drink scene. It is a great place for individuals, couples and families to relax and get away from it all! Need a separate private space for just two on the same property- check out the Studio at Dunne Dreamin.
This lovely log cabin is a great place to hang out any time of year. The first floor has a cozy living room with a fireplace a full bath, a kitchen, dining area and a bedroom. There is also a loft bedroom that has two twin beds and enough floor space to accommodate an air mattress or two if extra sleeping space is needed. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you would need to prepare your meals including a keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and stove - pots, pans, dishes, mixing bowls and cutlery, . The covered porch is a wonderful place to watch the sunrise or to relax with a drink after a long day of hiking, biking or kayaking. A large picture window gives you the same view from inside during the cold winter days. There are plenty of outdoors spaces to explore during every season-including an apple orchard and 32 acres of woods -which makes this location especially great for guests with children and dogs. There is an outdoor fire pit as well as great hill options for sledding and snow shoeing in the winter- sleds and snowshoes are available for borrowing. The cottage is attached to the main house but has its own entrance and porch and is completely private. You will never know anyone is next door unless you need something -in which case I am right there to help.
The Cottage at Dunne Dreamin sits on a hill overlooking the Village of Hardwick with no neighbors in sight! It is about a mile walk to the center of town where you can get a great breakfast at either the local diner, the bakery or the food coop. Lunch and dinner options include two pizza restaurants, the Village Diner, and the Scale House - a wonderful new restaurant with a great vibe and terrific food. . Set out to Stowe (40 minutes), Morrisville (20 minutes), Montpelier (40 minutes) or St. Johnsbury (35 minutes) to find other great food and entertainment options.
  • Beautiful cabin with lots of local treasures. Would def come and stay again.

    Kayla2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect and private get away. Cozy fireplace, thoughtfully stocked kitchen and comfy bed. Pet friendly, as my grand pup visited and loved it! Lovely hillside porch, with a view. Can't wait to visit in the spring sometime, when the apple orchard is in bloom! Thanks again Amy, for sharing your wonderful piece of Vermont serenity.

    Connie2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful weekend at Dunne Dreaming. Amy gave us a fresh baked cookie & apple cider upon arrival which was just what we needed after our drive up. She let us borrow snowshoes and poles for our adventure, and couldn’t have been more hospitable. The fireplace was the perfect touch after a long day in the cold, too. We hope to come back again and just love the Hardwick area. Amy was full of recommendations for food, adventures, etc., and was very good at communicating with us before and during our stay. My dog had a wonderful time, too! Amy had a dog bed ready and waiting for her, and there was plenty of fresh snow in the backyard to romp around for miles! We hope to be back in either the winter or summer months in the future!

    Brittany2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A charming and cozy spot with great access to wooded trails and nice views. You will have everything you need and you will be comfortable. Hardwick is a nice little town with great food and beer nearby. Enjoy!

    Andrew2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • My 2 teenagers and I had such a wonderful stay at Amy's cottage. Super cozy, comfortable and just what we needed for a winter ski weekend. Thank you!

    Melanie2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. We loved taking advantage of the fireplace and snowshoeing around the grounds!

    Peter2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was a wonderful place to spend a winter weekend! The cabin was cozy and warm and had everything we needed. The bedrooms are also separated to give lots of privacy, which is rare in places like this. Amy was great too - she gave really helpful local tips, was very responsive to messages, helped us with medical supplies when one of our party was injured, and even helped us celebrate a birthday with a delicious cake. We all really enjoyed chatting with her! We would love to visit again to see it in the warmer months.

    Matti2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is awesome. If you're looking for the VT feel (i.e. rustic and log cabin) this is the place to go. The night before we stayed at Amy's other place, Dunne Dreamin studio which was at the same address. The location of the cottage / studio is perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Stowe. It's not far from downtown Hardwick either. Great place that we'll definitely come back to.

  • Cosy cabin, great for a couple and their dog. Erin was responsive and terrific, offering to wash the sheets/towels in a scent-free detergent for us and my allergies. Perfect location for biking on the Lamolille RailTrail.

  • So relaxing! We had a great time. The cabin was cute and clean. Would definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway!

    Ellie2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin at the campground definitely exceeded our expectations. On top of the cabin itself having everything you could need, the campground itself offered so much to do! We definitely used the pool and hot tub after a long day of hiking. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

  • Great value, lovely location, well tended facility

    Sue2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Everything you need in this cabin. It is close to a highway, so be ready for some road noise but the cabin is wonderful - totally Vermont. It is one of two cabins in an otherwise well populated RV and campsite. Very well furnished, quaint and close to a nice grocery store. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

  • This house is absolutely beautiful, it is a perfect space for a group to enjoy time together. It is more even charming than the pictures can show! Everything was very clean, the large open floor plan was comfortable and relaxing and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook meals and enjoy them together. Joe and Flo were very nice and easy to interact with, they were great hosts! We were already talking about our next trip.

    Elise2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Maple Lodge is a fantastic place to stay. It's a beautiful location, the perfect amount of isolation. The scenery from the lodge is gorgeous. It's a good distance from some great breweries as well, such as Hill Farmstead and The Alchemist. This was our second time staying here and is always a pleasure!

    Deb2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Joe and Flo's rental was absolutely perfect for our weekend away. Clean, spacious and only a 20 minute drive from Stowe Village - it was a fantastic space. Joe and Flo were also very responsive hosts. I had no issues communicating with them throughout our journey. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to ski Stowe mountain!

    Nicolette2020-02-02T00:00:00Z

Quiet neighborhood, great views for sunsets, peaceful. Minutes to Craftsbury Outdoor center for skiing. 45 minutes to stowe and jay Peak for skiing and snow boarding. 20 minutes to the stores. 20 minutes away from Cople Hospital. We welcome visiting nurses to stay. There is a secondary trail that hooks onto the main snow machine trail about a mile up the road from us for anyone into snow machining.
This neighborhood is special because of the sunsets and the quietness. And some nights you can sit on he back porch and hear the crickets or an owl . Very relaxing
  • This Airbnb was clean and in a beautiful location. The view was just so nice. We were visiting the area to XC ski at Craftsbury Outdoor Center and this home was in between the center and where we wanted to go for dinner (Lost Nation Brewery). We were only able to stay one night and appreciated the owner's willingness to let us come for one night. Easy check in with the lockbox. We would stay here again without hesitation. Owner was quick to respond to questions too.

  • Our stay at Meadow Woods Cabin was the perfect winter retreat. Quiet and cozy with all the amenities and charm placed in a beautiful part of Vermont. We were able to ski right out our back door and surrounding ski areas. The cabin was spacious and spotless with lovely sunsets from off the front porch. Our hosts were super friendly and always willing to help with suggestions of places to see or eat. I look forward to going back again.

    Kate2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful and cozy cabin! We stayed here on our ski vacation instead of staying closer to Stowe and we are glad we did. This cabin was cute and charming. Peggy and Steve went out of their way to help us get two-for-one ski ticket and helped us when our little car got stuck on ice. The area is so cute and much quieter than Stowe but still has cute restaurants and breweries nearby. Definitely recommend!

    Kristin2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at this cabin! Warm, cozy and with great views. Surrounded by snow covered woods, it was like a winter fairytale! Close to xcountry skiing trails. Peggy is a very friendly host. We would love to come back sometime!

  • Very well equipped house perched on a hill with a great view. We had everything thing we needed and the host was very responsive. Our second time here and we will be back again.

  • This is a quiet, comfortable, arty, light-filled space in a tiny village. Huge windows look over tranquil Vermont houses and hills. We loved the proximity to Hardwick (Buffalo Mountain Coop), to the Craftsbury Outdoor Center for x-c skiing, and to Parker Pie for dinner and local beer. We hope to be back!

Minutes from Green River Reservoir state park and a short drive to Stowe and Smugglers Notch resorts, come experience the tiny house lifestyle with modern amenities and enjoy the best views Vermont has to offer, with proximity to some of the state's most popular attractions.
Instagram: @sunrise_sunset_tiny_house This tiny house on wheels is intended for sustainably-minded individuals and couples. Built for an off-grid experience (with the exception of electricity), the stove and heat run off propane, the water is a self-contained 35 gallon system with an instant hot water heater, and there is a Nature's Head compositing toilet, therefore guests must be open to practicing reduced consumption (biodegradable shampoo and conditioner are provided, please do not bring your own products unless they are eco-friendly as well). Nevertheless, amenities include smart tv and wifi, a full-sized fridge, and a fully functioning kitchen with gas range and microwave/convection oven, french press, and coffee pot. The queen bed is lofted above the living space and is accessible by a removable ladder.
We are located just a 5 min drive from the Green River Reservoir which is a fantastic spot for canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Morrisville is just a 10 min drive where you will find two of our favorite local breweries and a number of great places to eat. Also in Morrisville you will find the rail trail which is great for cycling, walking in the summer months and snowmobiling/cross country skiing in the winter.
  • Such an amazing space // amazing host! So many extra little touches that made the stay that much better. Will definitely be returning for more tiny house adventures.

  • The location was great! Close to Morristown center, close to Stowe, and set on a beautiful and quiet piece of land with rolling fields and mountain views. Kali and Michael were wonderful hosts! They responded to all of our questions quickly and put a lot of effort towards making our stay special. And the tiny house itself was just so much fun to stay in! You can't get better than this.

A stunning renovation of a 100-year old Boathouse, this cabin sleeps two and features a full kitchen and bathroom. The Boathouse is situated right at the lake's edge and has a full glass front and wrap around deck (with a grill!) to take advantage of unbeatable water and sunset views. Perfect getaway for couples who are looking to explore and be active or just unplug and spend a few days reading and relaxing. Wapanacki is pet-friendly! Please see info about our pet fee in the notes below.
The Boathouse has been designed using an eclectic combination of new and upcycled materials. Care has been taken to preserve the original wooden vaulted ceiling by insulating the roof from the outside. An electric stove will keep you cozy in the winter months. You'll enjoy lake views from bed or when you stretch out on one of the two long couches. The kitchen has all the tools you need to prepare meals, including tons of counter space which doubles as space for eating. We provide fresh linens, blankets, and towels. We have multiple cabins on property, and The Boathouse is the most private onsite. Guests have a private dock with a canoe, a campfire pit for your exclusive use, and a gas grill on the deck. Nestled in the hills of the Northeast Kingdom, Wapanacki was originally founded as a summer camp in 1938. Established as a camp for blind children, and later run by the Girl Scouts, Camp Wapanacki has been reborn as a four-season retreat.
Wapanacki feels remote but is just 10 minutes from all the conveniences in Hardwick including a grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, local food co-op, woodfire pizza/American fare restaurant, great diner, and gas station. Camp is a great base for experiencing all Vermont has to offer. Stowe, Jay's Peak, and Smugglers Notch are all about an hour away. Hill Farmstead and Lost Nation Breweries are about a 30-minute drive. Barr Hill / Caledonia Spirits distillery is right in Hardwick. There are also multiple hiking, biking, and ATV trails minutes away.
  • This is my 2nd time staying at the cabin. I love it! The cabin itself is adorable and the area is so unbelievably beautiful. It’s so quiet and peaceful. I’ve been here both in summer and winter and I love both!

    Renee2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time staying at Wapanacki and our first time in the Boathouse and it did not disappoint. The cabin is filled with so many thoughtful touches and is well equipped with everything we needed for a cozy winter weekend. Morning coffee views from bed out onto the frozen lake, hiking through the snow with our pup and a very cold but very picturesque fire by the lake were highlights. Cat is a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed prior to check in. She’s super responsive via text and made everything a breeze. Will definitely be back!

    Sarah2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • The Boathouse was a perfect winter getaway. And Catherine was an amazing host. About 35 minutes outside of Stowe, the Boathouse offered us a quiet stay sitting on the [frozen & snow covered] lakefront. We had our own fire-pit outside and the perfect amount of space and view for a cabin. The Boathouse was spotless, spacious, with very modern decor. We enjoyed some local breweries and dining, recommended by Catherine on a rainy day. And the other days we spent downtown Stowe, walking around and skiing. Be prepared to go completely unplugged as cell phone service is very hit or miss. I would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the lake! Thanks Cat!

    Pete2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • We (me, my husband, and our small dog) spent a lovely Thanksgiving at the Boathouse. It was a perfect getaway in a beautiful setting. The space was just the right size for us, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our holiday meals. As noted in the listing, the cell service isn't great (we had to walk up the drive to send texts to family), but if you embrace it, it just adds to the experience. We can't wait to return!

    Colleen2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome!!!

    Sharon2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying here. This is a place to unwind and reconnect with nature and traveling partner. There’s a couple of trails you can explore on the property, and kayaks available for use. Kitchen has everything you may need to prepare a meal, so you can enjoy it on the deck with a beautiful scenery. Can’t wait to come back here again.

    Luda2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place to be of the grid, wonderful view of the lake. Provides every thing you need to experience the nature.

    Reut2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Catharine's place is amazingly beautiful. The scenery is breathtaking, and the cabin is the perfect get away spot. In addition to the beautiful scenery they had local meat and food available to purchase which was a great touch. We spent our days reading on the dock, kayaking in the pond, and exploring with our dog. It was the perfect camp getaway!

  • This was the perfect place to stay for a week of cross country skiing in the Northeast Kingdom. Amy is a very attentive and kind host who is very easy to communicate with. The location is amazing, quiet and beautiful. And the studio space is very pleasant and has everything you need. The kitchen is quite nice, the shower is great, and the bed comfortable. All in all a lovely place to stay. The skiing at Craftsbury Nordic and at Stowe and a Trapp Family Lodge was amazing with great snow and great grooming. This apartment is situated in the perfect place to access all these different areas with easy drives. And it was a wonderful place to come back to in the evening to relax. There’s even a wonderful food co-op just a mile or two from the house which has everything one would need in the way of groceries. I’ll definitely be back next winter to ski in the area, and would certainly think about using it as a base for some great day hikes in the Green Mountains.

    Steven2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Amy's place was perfect for a girls' weekend ski race getaway! It's in a super location for quick access to both Hardwick and Craftsbury Outdoor Center, and Amy had provided all kinds of thoughtful touches to make our stay cozy and nice. Everything was clean and anything you could imagine needing was provided--couldn't have asked for a better stay, I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable and sweet place to stay in the Northeast Kingdom. Thanks again, Amy!

  • Perfect secluded location. We explored Stowe during the day and retreated to the lake to relax and unwind in the evening. Kathy’s place was exactly as described, beautifully appointed, and clean. We hope to return!

  • Light-filled studio on Lake Elmore was a great place to get away from it all for a couple of days. The studio cabin is warm and very comfortable with full kitchen and bathroom including washer/dryer. It is set in a very quiet peaceful location on the shores of Lake Elmore. The description of the studio was very accurate and the hosts Kathy and Steve were very responsive and welcoming. I would certainly recommend this property as good value for money in this part of Vermont.

UPDATE 8/5: SlTE CLOSED UNTIL BUILDING FINISHED. WILL OPEN CALENDAR BACK UP WHEN FINISHED. THE STRUCTURE- Unavailable for construction for new Airbnb. We are starting this transition in June. You'll love staying on our property because you'll have full access to the 7 acres. We live the next town over. Less then 10 minutes away. Complete privacy from any neighbor. Our property has the VAST trail directly attached. During the Summer/Spring/Fall seasons you can walk to the trail.
The area is in the country but a located close to small towns for needs. Cabot is 5 minutes away, Danville is 10 away and Hardwick is 15 minutes away. You can't see the neighbors. But if loud enough they may here you or vice versa. We had many family get togethers when my dad lived across the street with fire works for 4th of July with no complaints. I want guest to have fun but please no fights or yelling. Should the neighbors complain we may not be able to continue the camping fun.
  • I had an awesome time staying on Jessica’s property. It was in a beautiful location perfect for my mountain biking trip. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating while still giving me plenty of privacy. Can’t wait to come back!

    Jameson2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • The property is wonderful, secluded and quiet, and they have provided wonderful accommodations for a camp spot. Our pup loves being able to run around and as our second stay here we had some friends join us with their dog as well. The night sky is clear and gorgeous, and we were close enough to town to take a half day trip in to explore. We highly recommend their property.

  • Outstanding stay! I was totally expecting just a plot of grass begat I could set up a tent on, but Jessica and her family blew me away! The were super helpful when suggesting good local breakfast places with real Vermont maple syrup too! 10/10 would come back if I’m in Vermont again!

    Noah2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing spot! The property is beautiful and secluded. We had a great time and for a camp site there were more amenities than we ever would have expected or needed. They communicated with us quickly and stopped by when we arrived to say hi and make sure we had everything we needed. We didn't leave the site but they had a book with some area places to eat and see. Definitely recommend staying here, we will be for sure.

  • The house is amazing. Really nice and comfortable. Is was enough to hose our family of 10 + a baby. The house sits on a mountain top with an incredible view. Instructions are very clear and easy to comprehend. The only issue we had, was getting into the house without a 4x4. There was a lot of snow while we were there and it was impossible for one car to get up the hill...Make sure you get a 4x4 if you are renting the house during the winter.

    Stefan & Taís2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • The views from this beautiful home are spectacular. I hope to make this a yearly destination with my family.

    Teresa2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This home was beyond spectacular. Shell was very easy to communicate with while booking, leading up to, and during our stay. From the moment we pulled into the drive way we fell in love with the home. Everything you can think of to make a home as comfortable as possible, this house has it. The house is nicely decorated with great natural lighting all around. The house is very spread out, so if your traveling with a bigger family, or group, no one will feel crowded or on top of each other. Shell has nicely typed up and labeled rules and instructions around the house. We really enjoyed turning on the fireplace and watching TV and lounging in the living room. They have a small general store right down the hill. If u want a bigger supermarket, restaurants, gas stations, pharmacy etc., a 10 min drive is Morrisville town. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend, in a beautiful comfortable home, this is the house to go with. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else anytime I come to Vermont.

    Joey2019-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Surely one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in the US! The house is beautifully decorated, sparkly clean and very convenient. We could not hope for a better spot for our Thanksgiving week-end! Communication from the owner is very reactive and helpful, prior and during our stay when needed. The area around provides many options for small hikes, jogs and other nature activities! We will be back for sure!

One might call this glorified "camping" because you've got the beauty of nature but the convenience of a roof over your head, electricity (frig, micro, a/c, tea kettle, lights, outlets), etc., but the ability to be right on the water and enjoy all the benefits of being in nature, relaxation, listening to the birds, having a campfire, etc. Renters must bring their own: bottled water, firewood, all linens including sheets (or sleeping bags), towels, etc. This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out location, including all trash, recycling, bottles/can, etc. No pets.
The beauty of this place is to relax and commune with nature and enjoy the lake. Hardwick is 10 minutes away with the standard pizza place and a diner; Montpelier is 30 minutes away, Vermont's capital, with dynamic restaurants, movie theatres (traditional and independently owned), sites to see and shops.
  • If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is the location you want to stay at. If you’re looking for luxury look elsewhere. More of a glamping experience. Which is what makes this space so special Patricia was right on with all her information concerning your stay. Would definitely stay here in the future

  • This cozy cabin sits right on the lake! We spent many hours just sitting by the lake sipping tea with books in our hands and enjoying the shifting light on the water surface and trees on the other side of the lake. After dark, stars studded the sky like you do not see in cities. In short, it is a perfect place for relaxation. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer then two nights. The cabin is simple without running water, and the toilet is a short walk up to where you park the car. The cabin has electricity, with fridge and a hot water kettle. Drinking water can be collected at a local well just a short drive (1.5 miles) from the cabin. You need to bring your own bed covers and pillows, but there are also some blankets (one electric) provided in the cabin. Our first night was really cold, so I added a blanket to my own. There are kayaks and life vests to borrow for people who want to go out on the lake, which we did several times. There is both a fire pit and a grill with tools and some wood to use, or you just bring your own. Patricia gives you a very extensive list of suggested items to bring, which was very helpful. The cabin was actually bigger than we had expected, and can easily accommodate three persons, with a roomy living room as well. It is a great place, great value, and the check in/out process is smooth as can be! Highly recommended to people who are looking for a simpler life for a few days!

  • We had a great time at Patricia's cabin. She was very responsive and gave us a lot of tips about what to do in the area. The cabin is rustic but has many amenities (firepit, kayaks, board games) to enjoy the place. We would definitely recommend this place!

  • Great place and great location, and by the way in case you have xfinity account, there is a WiFi signal.

  • This place is great. It was a nice size cabin right on the lake. It is truly one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. We enjoyed it so much. There were many nice things about the cabin. Extra blankets, bug spray, dishes, anything you might have forgotten. Patricia was so thoughtful. The kayaks were a great bonus. We did an amazing early morning kayak. The fire pit, bbq. Everything was ready and easy to use. It was a great stay!!

  • We had a wonderful time at the house, the location is perfect, we enjoyed kayaking, I highly recommend it

    Douaa2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was a lovely spot to spend a night at. Here are a few tips that might be helpful: - You will need slip-resistant shoes to run up and down the hill. I was glad I brought my hikers. - Bring extra towels to wipe the outdoor furniture with in case of rain. - I kind of wished I had brought a more comfortable chair for star gazing although there is no shortage of standard outdoor furniture. - You will see and hear neighbors, boaters, cars passing by - and yet it will still feel private and peaceful. - Surprisingly, we did not need bug spray at all. - The hummingbird feeders were a nice touch. I had never seen so many hummingbirds in one spot.

Come escape from the daily grind at our idyllic lakeside glamping cabin. A charming oasis in the heart of the Green Mountains, this cabin offers comfort and convenience in an off-the-grid setting. Perfect for a quiet weekend getaway, writer's retreat, meditation escape, or just a chance to unwind , take a swim or go for a paddle.
Our comfortable cabin sits on a terraced hillside overlooking beautiful Greenwood Lake and the Woodbury Mountains. It has a ceiling fan and heater to keep you comfy along with a microwave, toaster, coffeemaker. However, there is no WiFi and cell service is sketchy which makes it a great spot for digital detox. We can provide you with a TV with DVD player if you wish. The spotless outhouse sports a state of the art incinerating toilet, a heater, a wash up sink with a drain, and a reading light. On the manicured grounds you'll find the upper patio with treetop views and a firepit. Next to the cabin is a picnic patio area with tables, chairs, and a park grill. Walk down the shaded path to our dock and kayak launch to take a swim or just relax, enjoy the view and look for loons. Bring your own paddle craft or rent a kayak for a small fee. Sorry, no motor craft permitted. While it does have many comforts and conveniences, be aware that this is still a glamping venue and there is no running water. We do supply water for drinking, washing, and even provide a solar shower.
In addition to enjoying peaceful Greenwood Lake, you are just a short drive from local attractions, such as Highland Center for The Arts, Jasper Hill Cheese Cellars, the charming capital city of Montpelier, Ben & Jerry's, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Stowe, Jay Peak, and Craftsbury Outdoor Center and local rail trails to name a few. The town of Hardwick, 4 miles away, boasts popular restaurants featuring locally grown fare.
  • Love the cabin! Great spot right above the lake. Nice to have a fire and enjoy the serene setting. Thanks Gary

  • Space is pretty small great for a couple or two friends to stay the lake is a two second walk down the hill which is amazing and the fire pit is up a couple stairs. The charcoal grill and patio table is perfect for relaxing, cracking some brews, and just taking in the amazing scenery.

  • E.V.'s home is the perfect Stowe escape. Close enough to town and the mountain, but away from the hustle and bustle. As a family with 3 boys we just loved our stay - there was everything we could have needed but the atmosphere, the stylish space and the outstanding hospitality of E.V made the stay truly a fantastic one. We will be back!

  • E.V. is AMAZING!!! Her place is a spotless cozy cottage that I fell in LOVE with when I stayed! This was my first experience with Airbnb and E.V. has set the bar VERY high. She left instructions that were simple and straight forward, she was ALWAYS reachable with any questions or concerns, and her cottage is so warm and welcoming that you feel right at home! She also provides a list of great places you can check out while in town. Don't hesitate on this booking - it is sooo worth it!

    Erin2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at the cabin. Everything was in top shape. Lots of hot water for showers and very clean. The wood stove kept the whole cabin including the upstairs nice and warm considering the temp was -4F the first night there. Strongly recommended for cross country skiing enthusiasts or just getting away from it all.

    Tony2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was a beautiful space! We have stayed in many air bnb’s and this is truly our favorite stay! What a fantastic book selection, thoughtfully placed artwork, and decor. This location is very accurate in the timing to Stowe mountain for our ski days. The space has everything one needs for sheets, blankets, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen for meals and morning coffees. The wood stove and electric heater did excellent to keep us warm and the wrap around porch was gorgeous to spend time drinking your morning coffee. Our dog loved the open land for off leash runs and snow shoeing. We will certainly be back!

    Tristan2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • We just left after three perfect nights at EVs rustic farmhouse. My family of 5 (my husband and I with our three boys ages 14, 12 and 7) travelled to northern VT to ski at Stowe and Smuggs. We arrived Friday evening to find the porch lights on and fire burning along with several other personal touches. The weekend was cold and we had several inches of snow but we stayed toasty warm . The farmhouse was sparkling clean with many amenities. We enjoyed not having a TV and spent the evenings laughing and playing cards/board games (all available at the farmhouse). Communication was not necessary but friendly and easy. Thank you EV for your hospitality. All agreed without hesitation that we will definitely come back and stay again!

  • Perfect location for a relaxing winter getaway. Inside is so warm and cozy due to the mountain views and natural light. The owners made sure the snow on the driveway was plowed from the winter storm. The house is close to skiing, restaurants, and popular breweries. Just a note that if you have babies or toddlers to bring a portable bath tub for them as the bathroom only has shower stalls. We will definitely keep this place in mind for our next trip to Vermont!

Relax in the beautiful surroundings of the Vermont countryside on the property of Stonybrook Farm. This tiny home is newly built and has everything you'll need for a perfect getaway. We even have wifi if you have to work while you're here. Lay in bed and listen to the brook bubbling past or look thru the telescope and check out the deer and fox that wander by. A true country setting and only 3 miles from town.
If you ever wondered what it would be like living in a tiny house here's your chance to try it . Everything you need in a small space along with all the fun of being on the farm without doing the work although we've always had lots of helpers, big and little that wanted to collect eggs , pet the goats and feed the horses treats. Come and enjoy the country.
We have a great neighborhood. There are farms on both sides of us and 2 dairy farms at the end of our road. All well kept and great neighbors . We also have single family homes mixed in.
  • What can I say?! Carole and Tom were amazing hosts. They were both so nice and welcoming. The bunkhouse was super clean, cute, and a perfect little space. The scenery was gorgeous and the animals just topped it off. The nighttime sky #mindblown. Close to so much but felt like the middle of nowhere.

    Nicholas2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Came in in the dark. Awoke to horses and goats frolicking on the field outside. It was gorgeous. Even though it was a pull-out sofa bed, it was by far the best night of sleep I've gotten in weeks. *Note, make sure you put in the address with Hyde Park. We ended up on a different Brook St. Luckily, it was only 16 miles away.

Animal pen is right next door so you can have some really cute friends when youre chilling out front. Gorgeous gorgeous view of the countryside from the front door and from the kitchen table. I loved this place and if I’m ever in the area, I’ll be back!!

Beautiful natural landscape, full of peace. Our light-filled home, on a forested hillside, has lovely sunsets and mountain views, lawns, gardens, and a small brook, with walks, hiking, skiing and biking trails nearby. Our road ends into a trail, so there are not a lot of cars at all, just my nice neighbors who also live on the road, many of whom own horses. Large open deck, small screened-in porch.
Guests are welcome to access and use (in addition to your private king loft bedroom with adjacent small loft with twin futon) all of the top two floors. This includes the private bathroom with shower, front deck and back screened porch, country kitchen and the living room. Children should be supervised on the cat walk above the kitchen, in the small loft and on the stairs. We are a non-cigarette/cigar smoking household. There is high-speed internet here for working online or internet calling, but no cell phone service at the house. Cell phones work up the road or in any of our neighboring towns. Our forest and gardens are designated as a botanical sanctuary. As there are no fences here, feel free to enjoy this spacious and private property, and also the adjoining land of our neighbors, being careful and respectful not to disturb or pick any of the plants. We live up a hill on a town-maintained backcountry road (which all cars can do easily in the summer and will need AWD in the winter) which gives us the expansive views from the house and on walks down our road.
Our neighborhood is within 30 minutes of and centrally located between several towns including Stowe, Hardwick, Craftsbury, Greensboro, Morrisville and the capitol of Vermont, Montpelier (with Amtrak), so there are many options each direction for restaurants and music, craft food and beer, farmer's markets and festivals. In our small town of Elmore, there is a general store, a fabulous wood-fired pizza place overlooking the lake, Elmore Roots--an organic fruit tree farm and nursery, Elmore Mountain Bread Company and Elmore State Park with mountain hiking and a big swimming beach, all within 10 minutes by car of my house.
  • Cozy house; wonderful views!

    Ann2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place! The house is very charming and full of thoughtful touches. Lizabeth is a good host and made sure that we were comfortable.

    Haneea2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • If I could give 6 stars I would. I've stayed in a few AirBnBs, but this one has by far been the best. The house is incredibly cozy, clean, and is truly a sanctuary as described. I certainly hope to find a chance to return, given how wonderful it was. As great as the place is, Lizabeth is an even greater host. She gave us recommendations for routes (we were biking), made us iced mint tea on arrival, brought us food, and in general was extremely kind. Could not recommend more!

    Duncan2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Totally recommend this place for more then one night stay. Unfortunately we arrived late at night so we were not able to enjoy the property. But when we woke up and sat on the deck and view of mountains were amazing! Definitely would stay again and also book the second bedroom.

    Joyce2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • For a wonderful and peaceful retreat, opt for this place!

    Nathalie2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Lizabeth's place. Springsong Sanctuary is a beautiful hidden gem nestled in the depths of Vermont's green mountains. This space is delightfully designed, extremely clean, spacious and full of thoughtful touches. True to the name, it is a place where you can feel one with nature and experience rest for your soul. Despite our last-minute request, Lizabeth made arrangements and ensured all our needs were taken care of. An amazing host, she even had some refreshing iced tea waiting for us on arrival. We highly recommend the place and would love to return.

  • Great spot to get away from the city and unwind with friends. You’ll be out of cellular network range so you’ll have to rely on the wifi for any communications while you’re there.

  • This was the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors for the weekend. It’s in a beautiful, quiet location with few neighbors making it a nice little getaway. There are plenty of great places to hike and swim nearby which made it perfect for our group. The house is surprisingly spacious and wasn’t too crowded with our group of 8. I overall loved our stay and I definitely see myself staying here again in the future.

  • Camp style home, great for familes with kids! Lots of sleeping room, private yard, with grill and fire pit. A new heating and cooling system has been recently installed. This weekend was 94 degrees+ and it was nice and cold inside!

  • Comfortable place to stay in a secluded wooded area. Reasonably priced and convenient access to Stowe. Host was very accommodating when we needed an extra hour at checkout. My family of 6 enjoyed our stay!

  • This is a great place. I spent over 2 months at the house and loved it. It’s remote but close to town. Very quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend this place.

This simple home is the place to go to unwind, turn off your phone, and breathe. Very private, yet close to many amenities, it’s steps to the local cross-country ski and bike trail system. A 5m drive to the Craftsbury Outdoor Center and 45m to Stowe, this place is also close to many places to downhill ski, kayak, etc. Not your style? There’s a range of local artists, breweries, and restaurants nearby, including Hill Farmstead, Barr Hill Gin, and Lost Nation.
Built many years ago, this home has recently been renovated inside and out. With one wall of windows (it's a passive solar place!), the house is open-concept with a mudroom, kitchen, dining/living area, bedroom, and bathroom. There’s also a large deck outside, blueberry bushes to pick from, and acres to explore.
Craftsbury is well-known for many reasons. Besides Hill Farmstead and the Outdoor Center, we are close to Pete’s Greens, Jasper Hill, Sterling College, and the Highland Center for the Arts. Although the town population hovers around 1000, we are proud to support a thriving K-12 school. Located on a picturesque common area, the school is surrounded by a post office, library, and church. A two-minute drive from the common takes you down into the village, where there are two general stores, a town hall, and a garage. It is truly a small, idyllic New England town.
  • If you want a tranquil Vermont weekend, this is your place. Sarah was a great communicator and the house was perfect for cross-country skiing and taking in the beauty of Vermont winters. We will be back!

  • This place is even better than it looks in the pictures! The view is amazing during the day and at night there's a great view of the stars from the large glass windows. It was so quiet and peaceful, yet still close enough to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely recommend it! :)

When we had some weather related issues Sarah was super fast to respond and made our stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend!

Cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with fully equipped kitchen on our riverfront campground property. Located just a few miles outside of Morrisville and near the popular resort town of Stowe (20 min drive). Plus, close to so many trails, great Vermont attractions and local craft breweries. Centrally located between three nearby mountain resorts; Stowe, Smugglers Notch and Jay Peak. Also see our other cabin - Mountain View Campground Cabin > https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20739606
The cabin is designed to comfortably accommodate 2 people and can have a MAX of 3. It is furnished with a queen size bed and television in the bedroom, cozy sitting area with gas fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a private bathroom, covered front porch and outdoor fireplace w/ grill and picnic table. Guests can enjoy a short walk down to access the Lamoille River that flows along the back of the property. Parking right in front of cabin for a maximum of 2 vehicles.
The town of Morrisville is just a few miles down the road and has most of the stores and services you may need during your trip. There are grocery stores and several restaurants and great breweries. You won't need to go far for food, whether you are going out to eat or picking up something and relaxing in the cabin. Just a little further, in the town of Stowe there are many wonderful restaurants and little shops to keep you occupied. In the warmer months, there are tons of trails to explore by foot or bike and many waterways and reservoirs for boating and fishing. Smugglers Notch State Park, Elmore State Park, Green River Reservoir, Mt. Mansfield, The Long Trail and the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail to name a few. Access to the Lamoille River is just steps away for excellent trout fishing. Many trails are also accessible in the winter to snowshoe, cross-country ski or fat bike. Looking to ski or ride? We are centrally located between 3 great resorts; 30 min to Stowe or Smugglers and 50 to Jay Peak. Northern Vermont is also a beautiful place to visit to view some New England fall foliage.
  • My husband and I had a great time staying at Erin’s place! It’s a close drive to restaurants and scenic views. We’ll definitely be staying there again!

    Lauren2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in cabin 2! A perfect space for our little family (including our dog). We had access to all the campground amenities (pool, playground, store, river). Plus only a short drive to our favorite restaurants/breweries and hikes in the Stowe/Waterbury area.

    Denise2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This place was awesome! Beautiful location & great amenities! We would stay here again!

    Amber2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cabin 2 was such a nice place to stay! It was very spacious and clean, and very convenient to gas stations, grocery stores, and a Dunkin'. Stowe was a quick drive away. The fireplace in the living area was so warm and toasty, and great to come back to after a day out hiking! They also provide all sorts of pots and pans, knives, serving silverware, plates, cups, wine glasses, etc! They even had some basic spices, coffee filters, and ziploc bags! We were not expecting any of this (we brought our own) but it was a huge added bonus! If you want to cook here, the only thing you need to bring is the food! All in all, would definitely stay here again! We didn't take advantage of any of the campground amenities, but the cabin itself makes this all worthwhile!

Looking for the quintessential Vermont experience? Find it here in this 1875 farmhouse in the heart of Maple Corner, an artsy community 15 min north of Montpelier. The farmhouse is clean, peaceful, and close to outdoor adventures as well as great live music. You're free to relax in the spacious room with a cozy bed & large back porch (plus enjoy full access to the house's common areas), explore Curtis Pond, or experience live music at the Whammy Bar (live music, great food, local brews).
Maple Corner is an iconic part of Vermont with a vibrant community of artists, musicians, farmers, and outdoor enthusiasts. My house is right across the street from the Maple Corner Community Center, which offers yoga classes on Mondays and Wednesdays as well as a number of other events you can attend. You can find the calendar online. The Maple Corner Store is a true gem. The house is just 100 feet from the store. There's a great bar and live music venue in the back of the store called the Whammy Bar. If you're here on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night, be sure to stop by the bar to hear live music. The community also has an extensive trail network - great for running, biking, and skiing. If you're interested in using these trails, they're public and I can help you find the trailheads. My favorite places in the neighborhood are: Curtis Pond, the Whammy Bar, Kent Corners, and Old West Church.
  • Awesome little area and house with Vermont flavor. Cozy, sweet cat, nice people. Would stay again.

  • A cozy home pulled straight out of a storybook! Elizabeth clearly put an exceptional amount of thought and care to make sure our stay would be as comfortable as possible. The location is fantastic, too!

  • Great place to stay. A large room with lots of amenities

    Ben2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Elizabeth always stayed in communication and provided everything we needed for our stay. The place was immaculate and absolutely beautiful. The cat was also amazing 10/10 would pet again. Next time I visit northern Vermont I will most likely stay here again. It's in a quiet area but close enough to the cities and towns most people look to visit.

    Dan2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • A great space in a picture perfect Vermont village. A really great value at the price.

    Brian2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! WHAT A SPOT. I put friends up here from NYC and DC and they were completely over the moon. Between the friendly cat and the hip decor, they were in heaven. The bed was very comfortable and the room was super warm despite it blizzarding outside. This is a gem of a place. Highly recommend!

    Catherine2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This host was very easy to reach and great to work with.

    Brian2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Elizabeth’s house is very cozy, with lots of character and decorated with care which gives it real personality. The host was welcoming and helpful, suggesting things to check out in the area. She is responsive and procedures to check in are extremely clear and well detailed. If you’re a cat lover, you will surely fall for their pet like we did, the friendliest and most affectionate kitty we’ve ever seen.

  • Jeff’s place was perfect if you like to ski at Stowe but can’t stand the snooty vibe. He turned me onto some awesome breweries so my trip was also a local beer tasting hop (no pun intended). The house is well built, maintained, clean and comfy. Highly recommend

  • Super friendly host and very clean and interesting place. Definitely worth staying there and great location with respect to Stowe and the town!

  • Jeff's home is INCREDIBLE---I stumbled upon it while looking for a place to stay on our recent ski week in beautiful Stowe, Vermont. Everything about his amazing restored Victorian home was above and beyond anything I could have expected--to have access to a wonderful kitchen with everything we'd need to a great, hot shower after a full day of skiing completed for us one of the best vacations we've ever had--we will return to Stowe, Vermont and I plan to make Jeff's home part of our next stay. Do yourself a favor too and walk around the quaint community of Morristown---even after a tiring day, it was SO relaxing to take in all the wonderful old homes in this area that make Vermont such a special state in my book ! THANK YOU, Jeff, for all you did to make this an unforgettably special time for my daughter and I !! ...Larry & Alyssa--Michigan

  • Jeff’s home is a beautiful northern style home. Jeff Gabe very quick and accurate responses to my questions and plans for the weekend; and gave us an excellent food recommendation. The house, for the incredible price, is very comfortable and inviting. If you’re looking for a place to ski, or just explore local breweries and places in Stowe or Morrisville, this is the place to be. I will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future is possible.

  • It doesn’t get any better than this! Jeff’s place was cozy and comfortable. All the details were thought of and Jeff provided everything I needed to make things easy, from check-in to showing me the local eateries that I wouldn’t have known about. I can’t recommend a better place if you’re in the Stowe area.

    Rob2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff’s place has everything you wish for! It’s a beautiful home that’s very comfortable and clean. The rooms are warm and the beds comfy. There are breakfast items available which is very easy. It’s about 20 minutes away from Mt. Mansfield so perfect for skiing. On top of all that, Jeff is a welcoming and friendly host. I would definitely recommend this place!

  • We really enjoyed our stay in the teeny tiny cottage. It was in the perfect location for us to enjoy the skiing in the area plus the discount tickets for jay were an added bonus. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs. It had everything you need to cook a meal at the end of the day and hunker down for a movie in the evening. Eric was a great host and greeted us on arrival and made sure we knew where everything was and how it all worked. He was out every day shovelling all the fresh snow and communication was very easy with him. Would highly recommend staying at this lovely cottage.

He gave us a brief tour the night we got there and provided such thoughtful and unexpected amenities (discount tickets for Jay peak lift tickets, water park tickets, and a whole book of Vermont travel guides ) I was extremely touched . The space itself is absolutely adorable ! I'm incredibly impressed that this was hand built by Eric and everything is perfectly designed to be neat and functioning. We came into town to celebrate my partner's 30th and had a wonderful time between the mountains and staying in with an old school VHS movie . Thank you so much for the stay!!

Set on bucolic backroads, looking out towards Stowe, this little milkhouse is a funky slice of Vermont paradise. *Please see the “rules” section if you plan on bringing dogs :)

Perched up above a field on the base of Elmore mountain, the milk house enjoys Mountain View’s, beautiful gardens as well as proximity to Stowe and all of its recreation. The Catamount trail is just steps away from the front door. With 300+ miles of backcountry + snowshoeing trails, this area is a winter paradise.
The property is tucked away on the Elmore, Morristown, and Stowe town lines, up on Elmore Mountain with views across the country. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby, as well as easy access to the village just 15 minutes away.

  • My family and I just went to E.V. house and it was beyond our expectations. We knew base on the pictures that it was a special house but it's so much better when you're there. All the personal touches make this house so unique. The area also is just amazing. It's perfect for outside activities and very close to Stowe but more quiet. E.V. is an outstanding host and everything was perfect. Probably the best house we went so far. We will definitely be back for sure.

    Philippe2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! EV and Travis went above and beyond with this space. They blended rustic architecture with artful touches while keeping that cozy Vermont feel. Out of all the Airbnb’s we have stayed at-this may have been our favorite. The art, books, local touches, and ease of check in far exceeded our expectations. We’re already trying to figure out when we can go back!

  • We loved the funky milk house. The place was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and the location was superb. It’s about 10-15 drive into town but the landscape where the house is located was amazing. We used their available snow shoes and went hiking with our dogs twice a day. No TV available, but we didn’t mind. WiFi was perfectly fine for browsing. The house was warm and comfortable even in freezing weather! Loved the funky milk house. Would def stay again! Thank you

  • I have stayed in many Airbnb’s around the world and this location was without exception my personal favorite! The location is private and secluded, and the cabin is immaculately clean. I enjoyed all the thought into putting this cabin together.

  • This was honestly one of the nicest stays I have had. The host came over and greeted me and my wife and gave us a quick tour of the house. It was a great experience and I have already began recommending this to friends and family. I will definitely be staying here again.
