The proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway and all the hiking trails nearby make this neighborhood special!
  • In times of chaos this is the perfect off grid spot. By far my coolest vacation. It’s camping, but with a little wood cabin over your head. Cozy and isolated. Has everything you need if you’re the type to wanna connect with nature. Loved it!

  • This is an incredible getaway into the Pisgah Forest! The surrounding landscape is beautiful and the cabin was the perfect home base for some excursions along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin was clean, the perfect size for two people, and easy to use. Being off the grid felt great and was explained really well by Haley, who does a wonderful job explaining everything and being a community resource. I hope to come back soon!

    Samantha2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had an awesome time at the Cabin! It was super clean and cozy. Additionally, it’s proximity to Downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway was perfect for splitting time between the hiking and exploring the downtown food and brewery scene. We came at the tail end of the winter so it was a bit chilly, but the cabin heated up quickly so it was never uncomfortable. Would definitely want to come back and experience it in the warmer months as well!

    Carolyn2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Super cool spot!!

    Sophia2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing views and very quiet! The cabin was very clean and cozy, just make sure to bring an extra blanket if you go during winter months since it gets chilly up on the hill, but otherwise awesome!

    Michael2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Love the off the grid feels of this cabin. Views and all around spot of this place is the kind of quiet I needed. Was lucky enough to have a perfect snowfall while I was there. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend.

  • This Off-Grid cabin is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to appreciate the outdoors and relax!

Come enjoy seclusion and mountain views in this sweet little off grid cabin tucked back in the woods of our 125 acre private gated mountain top escape near Pisgah National Forest. Hike 150 yards down a flat gravel road to get to the cabin for a retreat from your normal day to day life. Disconnect and enjoy the mountain view, nature and solitude. Bring your dogs. Bring a book and lounge in the hammock. Enjoy the simpler things.
DUE TO THE NEW COVID 19 COUNTY REGULATIONS: APRIL IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR LONGER TERM ISOLATION STAYS. This off grid cabin is located on 125 acres of private land that is gated and backs up to Pisgah National Forest. It is 4 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway and to the top of Mount Pisgah. It is close to all of our favorite hiking spots and swimming holes on the Blue Ridge Parkway! An easy 25 minute drive to Asheville and all of it's amazing food and breweries. The cabin is 100% off the grid: that means solar panels for limited electricity needs, propane heaters help keep the cabin cozy during the winter, and an outdoor shower area. Bring your own bedding and towels. Enjoy our 3 burner propane cook top for cooking, granite countertops, a sink with a water dispenser for drinking water, board games and a very comfortable queen size bed. Lounge in the giant hammock under the trees. We provide a solar shower (5 gallon camping shower bag) that can be heated in the sun and used year around (mind you the shower is outside so plan accordingly with weather). In the summer months we have a heated rain water collection shower that we try to keep up and running. It is temperamental so we keep the solar shower as our primary shower and consider it a bonus if the rain water shower is functioning! We also provide a list of other places to shower if you are staying for a longer period of time and crave a long shower or it is too cold t shower outdoors. The cabin has mountain views through the trees and is tucked back in the woods on a flat gravel road that you will have to walk on to get to the house. You will stop and park near the out house. We provide a wagon to help get your things to the cabin. The outhouse is about 150 yards from the cabin with floor to ceiling glass windows looking out through the tree tops...definitely the best view you have ever seen from an outhouse! The outhouse is cleaned out weekly on Mondays sometime between 8-11 am by a service truck. Our Goal Zero solar generator provides limited electricity to run the solar lights inside the cabin. If it has been cloudy, then the solar generator may not get charged enough to run the lights. We try to keep lanterns and flashlights around as back ups...but it's best if you bring along your own incase the solar generator runs out of power. We do have a back up solar generator that we keep charged in case it stays cloudy for days so please let us know if you need it. During the winter, the space is heated with a propane heater and can stay pretty warm. If they are calling for below freezing temperatures, I would recommend bringing extra blankets or warm sleeping bags. Bring some wood and make s'mores in our fire pit! Bring a cooler for your perishables since we do not have a fridge. We love all dogs of any size and welcome them to come on vacation with you! They will need to be left in crates if left indoors while you are out adventuring in town. We prefer they don't get on our furniture. Bring dog beds along for them. We are happy to be able to provide a dog friendly space since we too are dog owners and lovers....we just request you clean up after them, relocate their poops to the woods, and be sure to sweep up their extra dog hair before you leave.
Our mountain top escape is at the foot of Mount Pisgah and backs up to Pisgah National Forest. The roads are steep, but amazingly paved and engineered. This property was originally intended to be a housing development, but we have purchased it and put it into a Forestry Management Program with EcoForesters. Future plans include a trail system. We have one other Airbnb on this property but they are very far away from each other.
  • My wife and I were blown away by this place! It was so cool and Haley clearly put a lot of thought into it. The directions to get there were very well explained and everything was so clean. We loved that we were able to bring our dog with us. She loved our relaxing weekend get away just as much as we did!

    Levi2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this space and the openness. Enjoyed relaxing on the hammock and on the front porch. Will definitely be back in the future!

Walk or ride into Dupont State Forest from the backyard. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this unique mountain home sits amid endless forest. "No Visitors" is ideal for those seeking solitude and an intimate experience with the natural world. No better time to get out of the city and retreat to the woods. The State Parks may be closed but the woods around No Visitors are open! We have also added extra cleaning measures during this time.
This 2 br/1 bath home is family friendly. Fully stocked kitchen, with dishwasher. Excellent tap water for drinking. Extra full mattress under the queen bed for 6th person. There is wi-fi, basic cable, DVD player, CD player, and a Roku box. Indoor and outdoor speakers. Indoor and outdoor hammocks. Outdoor propane grill for use. Indoor fireplace and fire pit in the front yard. Rainfall shower head. Claw foot tub on the porch (summer only), great for viewing the stars at night.
Dupont to the west, Rich Mountain Land Conservancy to the east, and protected private land all around. "No Visitors" is truly a sanctuary from the concrete jungle so many of us live in. There is a farm stand 10 minutes down the road with fresh, local produce. The town of Brevard is 20 minutes away and Hendersonville is 30 minutes. Asheville is an hour drive. Dupont State Forest can be accessed from the backyard. Pisgah National Forest is 30 minutes away. Caesars Head State Park is a short drive, or an incredible bike ride, down the road.
  • Amazing space! Wonderful location! Splendid hosts!

    Tyler2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • LOVED this place! Just a short drive to Brevard but felt like I was in my own little world. Gorgeously decorated with lots of unique touches, spacious and comfortable. My dog absolutely loved being able to run around in the woods and I was happy to watch out for him from the super comfortable rockers on the porch. Communication was exceptional. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

    Karen2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for the type of tranquility that only the deep forest can provide, “No Visitors” is the place for you. In close proximity to many hiking and biking trails in Dupont, Caesar’s Head, and Pisgah, it is a great hub for outdoor activities. You can work up an appetite all day on the trail and return to the comfort of a fully equipped house for family meals and an evening of relaxation. My favorite feature of this house is the front porch. It’s perfect for a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. You can sit in the rocking chairs and lose track of time observing the nature around you. Two Thumbs Up!

This cozy cabin sits in the land of waterfalls in Pisgah National Forest. Hundreds of private acres surround the cabin. Walk out the door and you’re on a hiking trail that leads to a waterfall. The cabin is only a 20 minute drive to Brevard, and 15 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. This serene cabin is perfect for "unplugging." Build a campfire and enjoy the peace and quiet in the Mountains of North Carolina. No cleaning or extra people fees makes this an affordable getaway. Pet Friendly
This is the ultimate two story cabin in the woods. It has a large living area downstairs with a full kitchen and full bathroom, and a large bedroom upstairs with a full bathroom. High speed wireless internet available in the entire cabin. There is also a tv downstairs with all the basic channels and a tv upstairs with a Roku media player. Privacy, mountain views, and a lovely stream are all found on the property. If a rustic cabin with a large porch for taking in mountain views is what you want, then this cabin is perfect for you. Surrounded by Pisgah National Forest. The cabin is in Transylvania county, where there are over 250 waterfalls to explore. There is a picnic table and fire pit outside for you to enjoy and soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall. Easy access to trails, fishing, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Only 20 minutes from downtown Brevard.
The cabin is located on a private road. Transylvania county is absolutely amazing! There are so many places to explore and fantastic restaurants. One of our favorites is Mayberry's in Downtown Brevard! It has fantastic food and such a fun atmosphere. We also love the Bakery in Brevard as well. If you are looking for something very close to the cabin, Jonie's Diner is in Balsam grove and they have fantastic comfort food like biscuits and gravy and chili cheese dogs!
  • The cabin and location is absolutely perfect to unplug & get away! The WiFi is reliable if you do need it. The waterfall on the property is breathtaking! I would also recommend going to Looking Glass Rock for an amazing hike!

    Loretta2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was an ideal getaway in a beautiful and secluded spot, with a quick hike down a hill to a waterfall (which you can hear from the cabin on a quiet day). Large open area for kitchen and living room make for perfect vacation meal preparation and enjoyment, and the porch is lovely.

    Susanna2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to get away!! So nice to have a place in the mountains you can bring your pets to. Scenery is beautiful, not a bad drive at all. Most adorable spacious cabin you could find!

  • Amazing!!!

    Edgar2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at this cabin exceeded our expectations. Such a beautiful location and cabin. We recommend arriving during daylight as navigating through Pisgah Forrest can be a bit nerve wracking in the dark. Upon arriving at the cabin, check in was a breeze and we instantly noticed a clean smell. Tips/directions/necessities were found all over the cabin(seriously anything you need). The secluded feeling in this cabin is beyond amazing. There is also the comfort of having pretty much anything you need within 25 Mins of the cabin as well. The waterfall is surreal. Our stay was a tad rainy (obviously no big deal) so the trek to the water fall was slippery but SO WORTH IT. Please note: a little steep but definitely not impossible. We brought everything (sheets, towels, dish rags etc) from home to keep clean up simple but if you forgot anything- it was there. The space heaters are more than enough for colder nights. There isn’t one negative thing to say about this experience . We will be back !

Located in Pisgah Natl Forest land of the waterfalls. The Blue Ridge Parkway is close by. THIS IS CAMPING WITHOUT THE TENT! Cabin has electricity, two sofa beds, two queen mattresses, Microwave and AC. Guests must use campground bathhouse. Note this is a camping cabin! Port a john close by. Bathhouse 75 yards! Enjoy the sound of the river flowing by! This is perfect for families or small groups. The perfect basecamp for all your Pisgah outdoor adventures.
This is a great affordable mountain cabin. Bring your own linens! Sleeping bags. Pillows. We do sell firewood 5$ a bundle. This space isn’t toddlerproof
A simple campground out in the boonies! Good state road. Curvy! Close to bird rock falls and courthouse falls
  • Cabin was super clean and perfect for the hubs, me, and 3 boys! Carrie's husband stopped by to offer tips for the area and there was a posted list of places of interest and restaurants. Great camping feel but plenty of shelter from the elements (especially cold weather for this FL girl). If we're ever back in the area we'll see if Cabin 2 is available for our group!

    Aislyn2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great cabin / camping experience. Loved the river out the back porch! We had a great family time together!

    Dave2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing bare bones cabin. Perfect get away to be in the mountains with no cell service by a calming stream. The property also includes a roughly 1 mile hiking trail up the hill side that both us and the dog loved! The hosts were willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from delivering firewood to asking if we would want another cabin that would be warmer. This cabin can be a little drafty but they supplied a heater and blankets to hang over the doors for us. We had no problem sleeping in the cabin when it hit low 30s outside. Maybe a little chill changing in the morning but once changed no problem getting around in a sweatshirt.

  • Loved our stay. We had such a good time. Best camping-like experience to have with a baby

  • While some may find it rough around the edges, this campground has everything you need in a great location. Helpfulness and privacy around the campground were abundant. The sound of waters flowing out your front door, adventures and fishing all around, this place was just the getaway I needed.

    Sarah2020-03-10T00:00:00Z

  • Very calm & cozy location, Everyone was very helpful & generous. I will definitely be coming back soon

  • We stayed over the weekend to go hiking Art Loeb. This was exactly what we wanted. A quiet place to camp. It was in the 20's and cold, there's a small heater but this is a decent sized room. We had prepared with extra blankets and we're fine. Definitely would recommend.

    William2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect place for a weekend get away! My boyfriend and I brought our 3 dogs and it was plenty of space for all of us, very cozy, and the heater that looks like a fireplace was the cutest touch. I was worried we would be cold but the one heater kept us very warm the entire weekend. The place is clean, the bed is very comfortable and the view is beautiful. I was very pleased with the portable bathroom, everything was very clean. It isn’t anything fancy but it was perfect for us. It rained one of the days we were there so we went to the into town for drinks and to explore, very good restaurants and everyone is so kind and welcoming! I would absolutely recommend this place and we will be back to stay again!

    Tailor2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful stay at this cabin for a weekend! It was a little hard to find in the dark, but not too bad. It’s quite simple but perfect for a relaxing weekend in nature. Make sure you bring dishes, cups, silverware, cutting board, etc. if you are planning to eat there, as none of that is provided. The river next to the cabin is so nice and provides a nice relaxing sound to go to sleep to. There were some barking dogs but I couldn’t hear them from inside the cabin. The heater is an electric fireplace and works well. The first night I left it on overnight and it was too hot, the second night I turned it off when I went to sleep and it was pretty cold in the morning, so I’d recommend bringing warm bedding/sleeping bags if you come in the winter. All in all I had a lovely time and highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for somewhere in nature/away from it all that still has some creature comforts so you’re not completely roughing it.

Just a cute cabin to stop for awhile. It is part of a rural campground setting. Close to the bathhouse
Well it really isnt a neighborhood. We are in pisgah national forest
  • Carrie's place is as described. A small, clean, and remote cabin in the mountains (excellent for camping). Everyone was super friendly and would definitely stay again.

  • Such a great stay! So friendly!

    Victoria2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was perfect! Way more than shows in the pictures and a fantastic location for a checking out waterfalls or heading up the scenic blue ridge parkway. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating- even giving matches (& then some diesel) to get our fire started after some rains. It’s really a beautiful property. I had read about barking dogs being an issue but it was so faint, we could barely hear over the peaceful sound of the creek that runs through the property. Would love to go back in the summer to take advantage of that! Thank you for a great stay!

    Holly2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sparse as expected, but exactly what we were looking for. An amazing little hideaway and escape. The creek is beautiful, and the bathroom facilities were great. Wonderful stay, I highly recommend.

    Ursula2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • The cozy cabin was AMAZING. It was below 20 degrees out and I slept amazing in my sleeping back next to the space heater with the sound of the creek flowing. Carrie was an amazing and accommodating host

    Anastasia2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • I was planning on camping in the area but booked this place when the weather looked like it was going to be on the cold and wet side. It was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to enjoy the sound of the creek flowing by and the walking trail out back. Schatzie, my pup, enjoyed meeting and playing with the other dogs that were around.

    Megan2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a cute tiny cabin and a wonderful getaway off the grid! The amenities are low frills, but that’s what makes it so special. The cabin has a wonderful view of the creek, a fire pit and picnic table that are close by, and it’s a fairly short drive to some excellent hiking areas and water falls. This is the perfect spot if you’re needing a chill camping trip but don’t feel like sleeping in a tent and want to have access to a power outlet but not necessarily the service for people to bother you! It was very cold when we stayed there, but the hosts were great about checking in to make sure we stayed plenty warm and had a space heater. They also were great at letting us know about areas to explore nearby and being quick to respond to any questions we had. There are some RVs close by on the property just so the expectation is not that you’re fully in the middle of the woods alone as if truly camping, but everyone there was gracious and very pleasant to be around - and for the most part they just did their own thing unless you wanted to chat. There are several friendly resident dogs on the property (and even some chickens!), which we loved because we are animal people, but if you have an aversion to dogs, you may want to consider that. There are several other tiny cabins on the property, so this would be such a fun spot to get a group of people together to stay! We hope to do that in the future. I think my favorite thing about this tiny cabin was simply being off the grid enough to fully decompress and not think about work or life things in beautiful mountains while also being comfortable and cozy. Highly recommended!

The cottage has a great mixture of lights and darks. Making it feel like a hotel, but still out in the wilderness. Ideal for couples looking to get away. Its great for mountain bikers! Only 5 mins away from Pisgah Forest entrance, 15 mins from Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch, and 4 mins away from The Bike Farm. 35 mins to heart of downtown Asheville. The window in the back of the cottage can be opened and let the sounds of the creek flow in. It’s decorated with my own photography and a camera collection.
The entire cottage is available at your disposal. You can do anything in there within reason. Animals are welcome. Please contact me about them before booking.
The Neighborhood is right off Hwy 280 right before you get into Pisgah Forest. It’s general quiet. People are friendly but everyone does their own thing.
  • Billy is an OUTSTANDING host and his cottage is beautiful! We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay so much! Very clean, perfect location, and we will definitely be returning!

  • Billy is an attentive host, and the little cabin is absolutely clean and wonderfully appointed. It is like a terrific hotel room, only better. The stream and woods behind the cabin really help one feel that they are closer to nature. The cabin itself is located behind Billy's house which is facing the highway. This was a terrific value to be so close to Pisgah, we would definitely come again.

    Nancy2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • My stay was a short business trip, so I didn't have much free time to explore but the location is beautiful and Billy was a very thoughtful host!

    Megan2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Pisgah Forest cabin was clean refreshing and wonderful. Billy is an excellent host and has all the information you need for local attractions and great food

    Eddie2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a very clean, very comfortable, peaceful mountain cottage that offers plenty of peace and privacy. Well appointed inside with plenty of “homey” touches to make you feel right at home. The little creek that runs behind the house is perfect. ...and Billy is easy to get along with, and a great communicator.

    Jeffrey2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Billy was such a great host! Very kind, considerate, and very accommodating. 10/10 I would highly recommend this place to anyone and there are great views for photo ops :)

    Caroline2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage was perfect for a weekend stay for 2 people and 2 dogs. You can tell a lot of thought went into how to make this small space feel open and welcoming. A short drive from the town of Brevard, Pisgah National Forest, and other hiking trails/parks, the location couldn’t have been better. 10/10 would do again.

    Anna2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful stay. Great cabin with everything you will need. Great location to everything. Billy was a great host as well. Plan to book here again when in the area.

  • Haley’s place was such a magical retreat in the woods. The home is beautifully designed and oh so comfortable with the gigantic couch, wood stove and fantastic kitchen. The backyard is the best part- the lights, fire and river steps away makes for a really special setting. The hiking trails just out of the driveway were incredibly rewarding and the whole area was private and peaceful. I would totally love to stay here again!

  • My sister and I visited and absolutely fell in love with this little cabin! It has a great location (super close to Asheville), but it is also quiet and secluded enough that you can enjoy the woods and little stream in the back. The cabin itself was very clean and was beautifully decorated! We cannot wait to visit again!

    Becca2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This has by far been our favorite Airbnb stay ever! Everything was clean, it was well stocked, super cozy but modern, and the perfect little mountain cabin. We would definitely recommend and are already planning a trip back.

  • This is an amazing spot just outside of Asheville. If you’re looking for something close but not in the middle of all of the congestion... it’s perfect. The small touches made this the perfect romantic getaway for us. We love it and if we return to Asheville, this is the place for us.

A sought-after, secluded treetop retreat 10 minutes above downtown Brevard, NC! This secluded slice of heaven greets you with sweeping, jaw dropping long-range mountain views! This modern rustic treetop oasis is perched directly above the best of two worlds: Downtown Brevard, with it’s quaint and vibrant main street bustle, and the edge of the Pisgah National Forest & popular Bracken Mountain Preserve. A winning combination that is hard to come by! Instagram: @BrevardNCcabin
Upon arriving at the cabin and stepping onto it’s wrap around deck high above the ground, you’ll be greeted by a breathtaking long-range view of the rugged mountain scenery of the Pisgah National Forest and wide open Carolina blue sky! The cabin is a paradise for those seeking a perfectly situated base camp to enjoy all that this area has to offer. A typical day might start at dawn with a quick 30 minute drive to catch the sunrise from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Spend the rest of the day biking or enjoying the whitewater rivers, waterfalls & hiking trails of the Pisgah and Dupont Forests, and end with dining + live music at one of Brevard's popular breweries or restaurants. Or take a short 10 minute walk up the gravel road to pick up the 7.2 mile loop of the Bracken Mountain Preserve trails (on foot or mountain bike - our road abuts the Preserve!). Save some energy for an afternoon ping pong tournament in the spacious lower level screened-in porch, while you stream the Panther game in hi def onto the 85” movie screen (if the satellites are cooperating!). Strong and stout, this approx 1100 sf A frame cabin boasts a solid cedar interior and exterior, and a stunning wall of oversized windows - your front row seat to Mother Nature's constantly rotating scenes of majesty. The wrap around deck faces due South - standing in a single spot, you can watch the sun rise to the east through the morning fog, then set to the west later that evening. The screened porch is cantilevered under the main level deck to take advantage of the way the cabin is perched on the slope, accessible by an outside stairs to the lower level, with same South-facing 180 degree view as the deck above -especially nice in the fall or when the trees are bare. It is a screened porch, meaning all big openings in the photos are screens, not glass windows, enabling you to still feel very connected to nature. Depending on one's comfort level and favorite seasons, we have plenty of cozy blankets and wraps for cooler months, and two ceiling fans in the screened porch for warmer months. The cabin decor is "modern rustic" - comfortable, and well-appointed with central air/heat, two bedrooms, two full baths, washer & dryer, brand new GE appliances (fridge, stove & dishwasher). The kitchen is stocked with ample dishes & cookware, and Keurig coffee maker stocked with a supply of coffee and hot chocolate. Downstairs furnishings include a locally hand-crafted solid pine kitchen island & seven foot poplar farm table (perfect for holiday gatherings), comfortable leather furniture and a cozy propane free-standing corner fireplace. Upstairs in the loft, guests enjoy a spacious sectional sofa, a 50” TV with Direct TV and Apple TV, board games, and a comfy recliner in the cozy reading nook. The master bedroom features an elevated queen size bed, ceiling fan, updated spa-like master bath with large sunken shower, natural stone tile, vaulted ceiling & white washed ship lap. The second bedroom has a full size bed, ceiling fan and closet. The 2nd full bathroom has a tub/shower and pedestal sink. Two couches + a cot provide additional sleeping arrangements if needed. The cabin is equipped with central air and heat. It also includes Wifi with Direct TV & Apple TV (we have it all tricked out, but can't control the temperamental satellite signals here in the mountains). :-) And while we love our furry friends, in consideration for our guests w/ allergies, we do NOT allow pets. Thanks for your understanding!
The private mountain homes and cabins situated in the Laurel Falls area are accessed via a well-maintained private gravel road. The private road to our cabin is accessed off the main gravel road, via a secure gate. Our private road abuts the Bracken Mountain Preserve, and is a short 5 min drive to the Brevard Music Center.

  • This place was amazing and was more amazing than I could of imagined. It is so cozy and a very secluded area. Loved every minute we were there.

    Eugenie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was beautiful! It was even better in person and the views truly are breath taking. The home was extremely clean, and very well decorated. The only downside was the “game room”. Based on pictures, we thought it was connected to the house off of the living area. However it is another floor that isn’t connected to the house, you have to go outside and down stairs to get to it. It also is just screened in and doesn’t have a proper floor so for our January trip it was too cold to use it. Other than that the cabin was perfect and it looks even better in person.

    Raven2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Kaci’s cabin was amazing. It was the ideal blend of a secluded cabin in nature and still very conveniently located near Brevard and Asheville.

    Alan2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is exactly what the pictures show! We love it - it’s the best cabin we’ve been so far! It’s also very close to downtown and hiking spots. The windows provided us the beautiful Mountain View. Love it!

Support a small school ( SOLA, School of Living Arts), connect with the natural world and enjoy a peaceful space of contemplation. Stay for a night or longer, while only 25 minutes from downtown Asheville! Our Cabins are tiny, tidy adorably rustic camping cabins. Located on 90+acres of pristine forests, fields, garden, working farm, creeks, and school, adjoining the Pisgah National Forest.
Our Tiny Cabins provide a private, peaceful space to truly disconnect. Forested hiking trails, springs, orchards, and fields lie just outside the door, and the relaxing sounds of the forest will lull you to sleep each evening. The entry level of our Blue Tiny Cabin includes a cozy daybed for sitting/sleeping, writing table, and chair. A ladder leads upstairs to the sleeping loft with two comfy twin mattresses that can be pushed together to make a king size mattress. Bedding, linens, and towels are provided. PLEASE be prepared to exist without outdoor lighting (except the moon and stars!) once the sun goes down! Candle lanterns are provided, but we recommend you bring your own portable flashlight.
Our Tiny Cabins sit on a magnificent rolling mountain that can be the setting for your entire stay. Staying on the land and immersing yourself in nature is a powerful and memorable experience that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The property adjoins the Pisgah National Forest and is close to Rte 151 which leads up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is helpful to have a good map and trail guide for the area which are readily available online or at many local bookstores. Please respect our neighbors and TRAVEL SLOWLY on our road. Max 10-15mph.

  • Excellent space with thoughtful touches. Great location and walking distance from downtown. Average 20 mins from different hiking spots and there were some excellent birds outside the property. Quiet, clean, and incredibly cozy. We will certainly be back! Listen to the other reviews on the comfy bed - could have spent the whole trip in it. The hosts were wonderful.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at David and Ginger’s place. It had everything our little family needed and plenty of privacy. They had all of the essentials already there which is super helpful, especially when you’re traveling with small children. We would definitely stay again!

    Hayleigh2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • David and Ginger's place is like a sanctuary, very private, clean and cozy. They are amazing hosts and keep their place stocked with the essentials that make traveling painless. Just like you would expect at a hotel, this place had the basics like soap, lotion, and towels just in case you forget your own. It felt so welcoming - the closets had extra blankets for those colder nights, and the kitchen came stocked with some waters a feed snacks and everything I needed for a week's stay. Traveling alone I felt safe and secure, the the neighbors in the area were super friendly as well. I've stayed at a couple airbnbs in brevard and this one is hands down the best by far. I ended up catching the flu while traveling and while it wasn't ideal (being sick while traveling), ginger and david's place felt like a home away from home while I was recovering. One of the cleanest airbnbs I've stayed in. The hosts were very easy going and communicative, anytime I had any questions. Thanks again for the lovely stay!!

SUPER LOCATION! Newly renovated private apartment in the lower level of my home in a quiet neighborhood setting. We are located just off the main road so there's some noise on patio. Please contact owner here for long term stays as well. Minutes to area attractions. • Uptown Brevard • Shopping (commercial or boutique) • Restaurants • Craft Beer Breweries • Brevard Music Center • Beautiful Scenic Waterfalls • Pisgah National Forest • Blue Ridge Parkway • Rafting • Hiking • Cycling
This space is cozy with an industrial farmhouse feel. Private parking for two vehicles, Private outside entry. Large covered stone patio with firepit, a grill and porch swing. We are only one block off the main street so there is some road noise when sitting outside. Bright and cheery with complete privacy although I can be as available or as invisible as you need. The neighborhood is well established and diverse mix of families, singles and retirees. My youngest daughter and her friends across the street are sometimes playing in the front yard. They will not disturb you at all. The unit is so convenient so you can spend your days enjoying the area without too much travel.
  • It was a very beautiful place in a great area. It had everything we could possibly need with wonderful hospitality!! Also, being a taller individual most showers are typically to small, however this shower was very tall and the bathroom was well put together.

  • Jeanne’s guest suite was perfect for a two-night stay. It’s close to downtown and a quick drive to Oscar Blues Brewery and DuPont State Forest to see the beautiful waterfalls. It’s also a good value relative to other options in the area. Jeanne was communicative and had the place clean and ready several hours before normal check-in time. We would stay here again if we found ourselves in Brevard.

  • Enjoyed my stay at Jessica’s cabin. I enjoyed that everything at the cabin was first class and very comfortable. It was very enjoyable to sit on the screen porch and listening and looking at the creek. A great location for all kinds of hiking not too far away.

  • You should only consider staying here if you: - Like to stay in a perfect location, and - Like a place that is impeccably clean. This place is perfect. From check-in to check-out, there isn't a single thing we would have changed. Great little place with everything we needed. We will definitely try to find a reason to go back. If you don't stay here, you have only yourself to blame (well, unless it's already booked).

  • Can’t say enough good about this place. A little slice of heaven that felt like you were miles outside of town but you were walking distance to everything! Stargazing from the hot tub was a bonus.

  • Gareth and Steve’s cottage in Brevard was the perfect home base for my trip to the area. The space is warm, welcoming and super clean. Within a 20 minute drive, my dogs and I were able to visit Pisgah, DuPont and the Sierra Nevada Brewery. I highly recommend staying here. I will next time I visit!

My farm is 8 miles from Brevard and a 45 min. drive to downtown Asheville. I am nestled between Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, which means unlimited hiking, waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Cyclers will enjoy being on one of the many routes, while mountain bikers can enjoy forest trails and challenge themselves to the Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch. Equestrian folks can avail themselves to our local horse boarders and ride in both forests. There is something for everyone!
This small farm is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to relax on the porch or by the fire pit after a day of adventures or touring around Western North Carolina. My home is located on a quiet country road directly on one of many popular bicycle routes, and is only a 5 minute drive to Dupont State Forest. Visitors will enjoy taking a nice walk around this picturesque valley community or driving into nearby Brevard for an evening out. Brevard features the internationallly-acclaimed Brevard Music Center with amazing outdoor concert series all summer. It is also home to the Grammy Award winning Steep Canyon Rangers, which often features our local resident Steve Martin. If you go into Brevard, you may also have the fortune of seeing our infamous white squirrels! Our area is also home to countless summer camps for children of all ages. If you are dropping off your child(ren) or getting ready to pick them up from camp, this would be a great place to stay the night!
  • My girlfriend and I stayed with Jennifer for a quick weekend trip and had such a wonderful experience at her little farm. We got engaged during our stay and Jennifer was sweet enough to give us celebratory cake and a bottle of wine. We felt right at home and enjoyed meeting her animals and helping to gather eggs. We will definitely be staying again!

    Julio2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great space! The farm is amazing and the bed is extremely comfortable. Pretty close to Brevard too.

    Eoin2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer is the perfect host and her home is warm and inviting. I instantly relaxed in my room and the special touches in the bathroom. Beautiful space! I visit Pisgah Forest frequently and will definitely be making this my go to place to stay.

    Dena2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely setting and hostess. You will never regret staying with Jennifer in this beautiful, country setting close to town. We are repeat guests!

    Carol2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Another excellent stay! No where else I would rather crash while on a bike weekend than at the Hart Farm 🙂

Camping turned into "Glamping" A simple cabin with real bed, electric,AC, and awesome deck over the river. The deck sits over the North Fork river in Pisgah National Forest. It is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Cabin is in a Campground setting. There is Port a john very close and campground bathhouse 100 yards away. Fire pit . The bathhouse isn’t fancy but does have plenty of hot water! Bring bedding or sleeping bags.
Cabin is on the river. Guests can fish, wade and just rock hop if they want
Out in the boonies closest town is Brevard NC 25 mins
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We got there kind of late, so we didn’t get to explore much or partake in a fire, but the cabin itself was great. Much more spacious than expected. The heater worked well and kept us comfortable throughout the night. The sound of the river was refreshing, and the night sky was phenomenal. We will definitely be back at some point ❤️

    Kimberly2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cabin and we very much enjoyed it and we stayed very warm the heater worked great!

    Greer2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place right next to the river. Carrie was extremely accommodating with animals and always replied back very quickly answering any questions I had! Will definitely be back!

    Oliver2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed at Carrie's place to celebrate his birthday. It was our second time staying in one of the cabins and we had a great time. It was rainy but the cabin stayed warm and cozy. My husband got to run a local white-water river due to the rain so he was happy. Brevard is an easy drive as are some beautiful waterfalls and hikes. The property is gorgeous, with a lovely walking trail. Our dog got to meet Carrie's dog and they had a great time. We will definitely be back!

    Nicole2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Simple place to get some rest after a long day, view of the stars here awesome on a clear night

    Indana2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful getaway- it had everything we need from a mini fridge and microwave to a shared bathroom area.

    Lauren2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time on our quick trip to this family owned campground. We are used to primitive camping so this was definitely a “glamping” experience for us! The bathhouse is adequate, and there is even a porta potty just a few paces away from the little cabin (the CLEANEST porta potty I’ve ever used, never thought I’d say that). They also provide everything you might need, which I was not expecting (chairs, roasting sticks, a grate to cook over the campfire, trash bags heater/AC). Just bring your bedding, your food, and cooking supplies. If you are used to hotels and more luxurious stays this may not be for you, but it was perfect for our needs. If you have a dog you might want to bring a tie out as the cabins are close-ish together. For the value this is amazing. We will be back!! Thanks Carrie and fam!

This is a great little efficiency by the river that offers a great porch overlooking the Pigeon River. This is the perfect getaway for two in the mountains of Western North Carolina who want somewhere to stay that is affordable but with all the amenities. We are located approximately 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to the quaint mountain town of Waynesville and of course, there's always Asheville, which is a 35 minute drive. Note: Heat source is electric space heaters.
This studio is located in a fairly rural neighborhood. There are two other houses on the lane where the studio is located and there will be some traffic going by.
  • I don’t want to sit here and write everything I’d like to write, because I’d be here for hours. All I can say is that Arlen and Linda treated us like family and were there for every little need. This was an amazing and unforgettable experience at their cabin. I couldn’t be more grateful for places and people like them. See you again soon A+L!

  • It was such a nice place.

    Mercede2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint studio cabin right on the river; our favorite thing was to sit by the fire and listen to the river run by. A beautiful setting to relax and get away, but close enough that you can certainly find something to fill your days (shopping, hiking, etc). The best place we found to eat nearby was the Birchwood Hall Southern Kitchen in Waynesville. Arlen is an amazing host, quick to reply to questions, and has lots of recommendations if you need them. Can't wait to come back!

    Wendy2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • The studio on the river is a quaint place to rest and listen to the river sounds. There are great hikes only 15 minutes away! Would recommend for anyone wishing to get away for the weekend.

Relax in a rural but convenient location, close to Asheville, Brevard, Hendersonville, Pisgah National Forest, DuPont Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We believe it's important to have a comfortable and cozy base to return to after a day of exploring; whether it's on the trail or in town. Our space provides everything you need, including a luxurious jet tub, rainfall shower head, full kitchen with updated appliances, full laundry, private porch to enjoy grilling & wildlife viewing.
We pride ourselves on our environmentally conscious approach to hosting. We use all natural cleaning products and toiletries. It is our aim to minimize waste and provide recycling and composting facilities on site. We love our furry guests as much as our human ones! We welcome well behaved pets with a non-refundable fee of $75 , or $50 for one night reservations. We have a large yard and wooded area which guests are welcome to use. We are also happy to provide play dates with our own dogs, Archie and Baxter, or help with pet friendly activity recommendations in the area. Speaking of furry friends, we are fortunate to be surrounded by an abundance of wildlife on our property. We frequently view white squirrels, deer, hummingbirds and songbirds, chipmunks, opossums and rabbits. We highly recommend relaxing on the front porch with your morning coffee and watching the animals go about their daily business... The squirrels frequently put on an acrobatic show stealing food from the bird feeders!
We love our location due to its proximity to Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, Historic downtown Brevard and Hendersonville, as well as the Asheville area including the airport. The cottage is located right next-door to our main home, and within a surrounding neighborhood. You will see other homes nearby, however it is a peaceful neighborhood with only occasional noise from passing vehicles and neighborhood dogs. We love sharing our neighborhood with an abundance of wildlife.
  • We were wowed by this Airbnb experience. Everything had been thought of. This place was so very clean, communication was excellent, and the amenities where a-plenty. I will defiantly return when in the Ashville NC area!

  • We loved this place! Kendra and Rob’s attention to detail and style made for a very cozy stay in a very cozy area. We hope to stay again!

    Davey2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great location with so many hiking/biking trails nearby! Lots of little touches for our pooch, and a big enough yard to throw the frisbee in. Just a short trip into Asheville, but plenty of cool spots right around Etowah.

    Brian2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean, super cute place and very comfy. Wonderful hosts. 5-star experience, can highly recommend this place.

  • This little cottage had the perfect layout for a couples weekend. The cottage was so well thought out and clean. We had snow during the weekend and the setting was so beautiful. The cottage is so close to great restaurants and the best hiking in NC at Dupont State Park. We visited Brevard and Hendersonville and hiked for some beautiful waterfalls. If you choose this cottage you will not be disappointed!!

    Alice2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • As soon as we walked in it felt like home. The attention to detail was fantastic. Very cute place.

  • Kendra and Rob were very attentive hosts and have a lovely home. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this extremely comfortable rental.

    Debbie2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing. It was critter friendly. They even had dog treats for the pups when I got there. I felt safe being in the neighborhood and walking the dogs solo even though I didn’t know anyone. The hosts were wonderful. Very responsive, but also really respected your space. The house was beautiful and clean. The front porch was awesome. I wish I had realized it has a sliding gate for the dogs before the last day of our stay, but we still got to enjoy it. I’d 100% stay here again. It was perfect! Thank you!

Close to Pisgah and downtown Brevard. There are two local bike shops right at the bottom of the road into Pilot Cove, which made renting bikes and getting info super easy. It's the perfect combination of being near the action while also having private space to come home to after a long day outdoor. It's about a 40 minute drive to Asheville and 30 mins from the airport. • We loved this cabin. It is more spacious than the pictures appear. We had everything we needed. The owners were wonderful hosts and communicated very well. The cabin was clean and made you feel like you were in the woods but was only a few minutes from great hiking trails and maybe 10-15 minutes to town. We were able to hit some trails in the morning, come back to the cabin to get dressed, head into town and visit some breweries and grab dinner then come back for a nice bonfire behind the cabin. Everything is close enough you can squeeze in all the things you want to do. This place is an awesome value! Thanks to the owners for having us!

  • Nicole and Sean’s private cabin is a quiet getaway that’s 10-20 minutes away from some great hikes (easy to moderate) - exactly what we were looking for! We came for this trip without too much forward planning after an extremely busy week and Nicole had written up potential itineraries with multiple customizable options that we fully utilized! We loved the recommendations and super accurate instructions/tips that helped us make the most of our very short stay. We also had some personal hiccups due to which we came in only on day 2 of the stay, but Nicole was extremely accommodating of our situation and even offered options to ensure we got our money’s worth. I enjoyed spending time in the cabin and perusing many of the interesting books laid out throughout the cabin - even woke up early to finish reading one of it! For an unplanned trip, we got more than we expected out of it, thanks to Nicole’s thoughtfulness!

  • My wife and I had a fantastic trip celebrating our babymoon. Considering the weather was mostly rainy, we weren’t able to do a lot outdoors but the cabin was cozy and quiet. The only negative about our trip was that the bed is a little smaller than we hoped for, but my wife is pregnant so it’s understandable. Overall it is a great place and we are already talking about possibly going back to enjoy the outdoors

When you step through the front door, you are welcomed by a view of sky, mountains, and Hominy Valley below. The inviting living room offers a large comfortable sofa, a one of a kind upholstered chair, and original art. For even more ambiance in this cozy room, there is a propane fireplace and stereo available. The well appointed, large modern kitchen invites you to prepare anything from a simple snack, to an elaborate dinner, which can then be enjoyed as you take in the view, either inside at the island, or sitting on the old church pew in the dining area. If dining alfresco is your preference, the expansive back deck has a propane grill, comfortable chairs and coffee table, and a bar height dining table & stools. The magic continues in the spacious, romantic master suite with a wall of windows to take in the beautiful view from the comfy king bed. There is also an electric fireplace and a reading corner with a one of a kind upholstered love seat. In the bathroom there is a double sink vanity, a lovely tiled shower for two, and a large antique 6’ claw foot tub for soaking. Wake to a beautiful sunrise and an occasional hot air balloon floating over the ridges. The 2nd bedroom is setup for kids (or 1 adult) and is available for an additional nightly charge. The room is super cute and includes a full sized antique rod iron bed, a one of a kind upholstered chair & footstool, fun lighting, artwork, toys, games, and books. It is located next to the master bedroom and has a full bath across the hall. There is a nursery nook in the master suite that has a pack-n- play, with a bassinet and changing table option. There is also a stroller, high chair, dining chair booster seat, infant bath, step stool, potty seat, and a dish & utensil set. Great for a family getaway! This home is furnished with an eclectic mix of rustic, modern, and industrial items. There are pieces I have created or repurposed, things that have been given to me or come from previous generations, some I selected in my travels and original art. I hope you enjoy the personal style, and trust that you will treat my home and belongings, with the same care you would your own. The cabin is located one mile up a gravel and dirt mountain road and is easily accessible with a regular vehicle, except during inclement weather. Expect some uneven spots, bumps, and shallow holes. If you are not use to driving mountain terrain, it can be a little intimidating at first. A neighbor drives the road everyday with a Prius and most of my guests drive sedans.
The cabin is located in a small mountain community, with great neighbors who will respect your privacy and I ask that you respect theirs.
  • Nothing but good things to say about this place! It's in a nice secluded spot with a great view. I was a bit worried about getting up to the cabin after reading some of the other reviews but actually found it to be a pretty smooth drive, our Accord made it up and down several times without issues

    Jared2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Really fantastic views and the master bedroom really makes you want to redo your own home. All around great place to stay.

    Richard2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The views here make the rocky drive up worth it! Having a 4 wheel drive vehicle definitely would help, but my little mazda made it just fine. The cabin was so beautiful! Tastefully decorated and incredible views of the mountains. We didn't want to leave.

  • My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Jaclyn's beautiful cabin and our stay was absolutely amazing. Her place is gorgeous, sparkling clean, cozy, with great views! The mountain road was easy enough to navigate in the mostly dry weather, and the view was definitely worth the drive up there! Waking up to those beautiful mountain views was beyond amazing. I highly recommend taking a bath in the luxurious bathtub then snuggling up in bed with the fireplace on. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils you could need, and the "beer exchange," is genius! Her directions to the cabin were perfectly clear, which helped immensely after a long day of driving. She has truly thought of everything and her hospitality made our trip 1000X better.

  • Great place!

  • This was one of the best AirBNB’s we have ever stayed in. The house is thoughtfully decorated and the view is tremendous. We will be back and recommend to anyone looking for a retreat away from a busier life. Excellent!

    Jessie2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here with our toddler and we are so happy we did. The place is as gorgeous as everyone says it is. The views are spectacular. I loved waking up early and watching the smog come in and clear. We loved all the windows in the bedroom and it was perfect for a relaxing retreat. Oh, and please make sure you try the bathtub- a bubble bath must. Although we were looking forward to trying a lot of great Asheville restaurants, we found ourselves cooking dinner at home twice because it was such a great kitchen! The kids room was perfect too. It had books for out little one and board games and a lot of adorable kid touches. The only down side for us was that we had poor cell phone reception but that may have been a carrier issue. We did have WiFi. Loved this place and hope we can come back to it someday.

My place is close to family-friendly activities, the Asheville airport, the city center, nature trails, and waterfalls. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the neighborhood, my chickens and my beagle. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Located 2 miles from town or 2 miles from Wal-Mart.
I enjoy watching movies, traveling, cooking, being a chicken mom, and going out to eat. In the community there are many waterfalls to view and trails to hike. There is a great area to shop in town for local treasures, as well as, many thrift stores and fine restaurants. ++My style of hosting is between staying at a hostel or a bed and breakfast. I have jobs that I enjoy. I am a teacher. The house is simple and I am renting and trying to save to purchase the house. ++Check-in is 4-8:00 PM. :) ***Please be considerate of check-in time! The day before arrival let me know your arrival time. ++Motto: Always be kind!

  • Matt’s place was exactly as described. Comfortable and very well located. We normally stay in Asheville but really enjoyed being in Brevard. Matt’s place is convenient to some great hikes, places to bike, fish and close to downtown Brevard. There are also several great breweries near by if you’re coming to the Asheville area to enjoy the craft beer scene. Matt was very quick to respond and made sure our stay was enjoyable.

    Brad2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • I rented Matt's home for a writing retreat. I wanted a quiet, uncluttered residential place, near water (Looking Glass Falls and the Davidson River) and a thriving small town where my writing coach could explore while I wrote. We had a very productive retreat. Matt cares for his dear home and his guests with thoughtful attention. Enjoy!

We live in a quiet valley off the beaten path with very little traffic and lots of wildlife and calm noises.

  • Me, my boyfriend, and our dog made a quick trip over the weekend - we saw Asheville, Duponte State Forest, and stayed with Jennifer. Jennifer's home was my favorite part. We took a walk around the neighborhood and it was so peaceful and pretty. Jennifer was so nice and watched our dog while we went to have a nice dinner. Her and her farm were so great. I hope that at some point I'll get to have a cabin as nice as hers.

  • Doris & Shanna did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed! One of the first things I said once we walked around the property was that I want to come back every year. I would love to come in the spring when everything is kore green and colorful but wow. This place really blew us away. I couldn’t be happier with this home and I hope we get to revisit!

    Zoe2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was the BEST Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was a little hard to find on Apple Maps but our hosts were more than accommodating to help us find it. They had everything we needed from shampoo to s’mores supplies! It was so cozy and felt like a home away from home. I got ready for my wedding here and I couldn’t think of a better place to do it. Thank you so much Doris & Shanna!

  • Shanna was wonderful! The house was just perfect upon our arrival - they had the fireplace on, music playing, and snacks ready for us after a 10hr+ drive. They thought of everything - even recommendations for in town (Crystal Mtn Gem Mine, Rocky’s Soda Shop) and in the area (Looking Glass Falls, multiple kids activities on a rainy day)! My whole family enjoyed the tree swing and the basket of toys & games too. Thanks again!!

  • When I say Blantyre Cottage is THE only place to stay when visiting the mountains, I mean it! Doris & Shanna have thought of absolutely everything. Their place is so so sweet and felt like it was made just for us & our special getaway. Every detail has been thought through- from the comfy bed to the well-stocked bathroom to the s’mores supplies. If you’re thinking about booking, DO IT! You’ll have the best time and you won’t want to leave.

  • This is a great little cabin in a quiet area. It is practically new. In close proximity to a lot of attractions including Asheville, DuPont National Forest, and the Sierra Nevada Brewery(all of which we visited). The Google Home device was a great touch! We used it to place music. It was especially to awake in the morning to snow on the ground! The bed is very comfortable also.

  • This nice little cabin was very cozy, extremely clean and had all the comforts of home. I was very impressed with how well-made everything was inside with all the pine. Exactly what you expect to see when renting a cabin in the woods. We saw nine deer one of the mornings we were there, which was a great surprise. The host was wonderful. The coffee pods were a really nice touch, as was the Google Home. The master bed was quite comfortable. We did not use the bunkbeds in the second room. If you’re looking for a fireplace though, this is not the right place for you. Overall, we were very pleased with this nice little cabin in the woods and would definitely stay here again.

A ladder leads upstairs to the sleeping loft with two comfy twin mattresses that can be pushed together to make a king size mattress. Bedding, linens, and towels are provided! PLEASE be prepared to exist with the outdoor light of the stars and moon once the sun goes down! Candle lanterns are provided, and pathway lights are installed, but we recommend you bring your own portable flashlight.
Sacred Mountain Sanctuary is a 501-(c)3 non-profit organization. All proceeds from your stay at SMS support an educational environment that serves and supports children, adults and the well-being of our planet. Our Tiny Cabins sit on a magnificent mountain that can be the setting for your entire stay. We also provide locally printed literature with information about our region- just look around in the Circle Lodge lounge area, or in your tiny cabin. Please respect our neighbors and TRAVEL SLOWLY on our road. Max 10-15mph.

  • This place was absolutely beautiful, it was surrounded by nature and is the perfect place to get away from the city but still close enough that you can still drive there.

  • We enjoyed our short stay. We found the amenities to be clean, warm, inviting, and can’t wait to return for a longer stay. Joy was so helpful and quick to respond to our messages. The bathroom and common area were so nice and stocked with tea and coffee.
