My home will hopefully feel like your home away from home. As can be expected from a house of this age, it has its quirks. I may or may not be fully finished painting the exterior (bigger job than I expected. I don't yet have WiFi. My apologies if this is a deal breaker for you. I do however have very comfortable couches to watch exciting free-to-air tv. There is free street parking available if you are driving. The driveway is not wide enough to park a number of vehicles in unfortunately.
Your room during your stay contains a comfy double bed. Towels and linen provided. Spare pillows and duvet / doona and linen available in the drawers in your room if required. My home is very close to the shops (IGA, Dominos, 7-11 etc). Chermside shopping centre is a 5 minute drive away. Sandgate is 10 mins the other way. The city is 20 mins drive or around 20-30 mins on the train.
Zillmere is a suburb thats pretty interesting. Its ethnically diverse. I've found it relatively quiet. There are certainly some interesting people around if you head up to the IGA after 8pm.

    We are a young couple staying in a 3 level townhouse which is almost 15 minutes drive from airport and 20-30 minutes drive to city. Public transport is very easily accessible, bus is just steps away-right outside our complex and train station is just 5 minutes away. This new complex is almost brand new, totally secured, with basic amenities like ample of car park, swimming pool. Taigum Village(shopping centre) is just 200 meter away with few restaurants, ALDI, Coles, SUBWAY etc.
    This is a 3 bedrooms Tri- level Townhouse with 2 bedrooms at top floor. I will share the same floor with separate bedroom & toilet. Its modern private room with a superb comfortable queen bed (please note there is no air-con in the room). Share spacious living room and a luxury big hotel stylish shower room.Free Wi-fi & Netflix access 24 hrs.
    Taigum is a very good suburb, just 14 kms away from city, bit quite and wonderful people around. Our complex is very close to SUBWAY, Coles, ALdi, restaurants, just 200 meters away. Bus stop is just outside complex and train station is 5 minutes away. Close to parks, walking tracks!!!

    ***Please read the full listing before booking. My garage has been converted into a granny flat. It is a private area (does not have WiFi). ***The bathroom is in the house and shared with me (and any guests staying in my spare room). There is a basic kitchenette to use (electric hotplate, kettle, toaster, microwave and small fridge with a few basic kitchen items (pots, pans, salad bowls etc). There is a small patio area to use out front of the shed if you want to relax with some wine.

  • Really great little clean house in a great location. Building works going onsite made things very muddy outside and a shortage of blankets but other than that everything was really great. It’s advertised as having 9 beds but actually only has 4 so we had a put someone on the couch but all the beds and the couch were very clean and comfortable.

    The available apartment is situated on the ground level of a Queenslander house. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, carpeted, new convection stove, dishwasher, internal laundry and free wifi. It is heated and air conditioned with access to a saltwater pool. The kitchen has coffee making facilities, filtered water, and some supplies including fresh eggs. It is situated in a very quiet community minded neighbourhood. One off street parking space is available plus street parking.
    There are two large dogs, chickens and one cat on the premises however a fence prevents their access to the apartment. Pets are welcome. Seperate areas are available for pets. Please do not feed the dogs on the premises.
    The community is quiet however there are many shops, dining, secondhand stores, liquor stores and other facilities close by including a library.
  • Our purpose was to stay one day and find a place to rest. This place was the best option not far from the airport, recommended for this! The host is a very nice person

Cleaning and tidy. two bedrooms with single bed for rent. per room $40 per night for one person. $25 per night for extra person in the same bedroom. no kids pleas饿because there are people living in the first floor. 6 mins walking to 330 bus stop, 25 mins to the city CBD. 15 mins walking to bus exchange station in Chermside Shopping Centre. there are lots of restaurants open till 9pm in the center. if you want to have beautiful food and fun it is the one. wakling ten mins only.

The unit has a separate bathroom with shower, a kitchenette (small toaster oven and hot plate provided) equipped with the basics for cooking and eating. The open plan lounge room has a sofa (folds down to become an extra bed), a study corner with desk and a separate small dining table with chairs. A large book shelf, cube shelf and mobile clothes hanger provide storage. Sleep nook with double bed.
    The unit sits under the main house and is fully private and self contained. Permanent living family in house provides easy reach help if you have queries.
    Unit is located in a very quiet cul de sac with friendly neighbors and a very safe street. There is an Aldi supermarket, pharmacy and cafe within walking distance (5-7 min walk) and bus stop nearby. Family friendly suburb and plenty of bush land nearby.

    Our home is a 3-bedroom home, based in a hilly and breezy suburb. Your room has a king single bed, fan, hanging space and desk and chair. It is clean and cool. A cafe and pizza restaurant are at the bottom of our street. We are 5-min drive to Prince Charles Hospital, a 30-minute bus-ride into the city, or a 20-minute drive to the Brisbane airport. The bus stops are within walking distance. We are a relaxed and friendly couple and we look forward to welcoming you to our home.
    There are 3 bedrooms in our home but we use one as an office. You will be the only guest.
    We live on a hill on the northside of Brisbane. This means we get a breeze! We are very close to Westfield Shopping Centre at Chermside, the Prince Charles Hospital, not far from the airport and easy access to the highway going to the Sunshine Coast.

    Located in a leafy suburb the house is homely, located close to the airport, public transport & shops & restaurants.
    The space is far from grand, best suited as a place to rest a weary head. The room is compact, however, you are welcome to use any of the other casual & comfy areas throughout the house. The house is an old Queenslander, with character, some aspects are dated but kept exceptional clean.
  • I felt very comfortable there. The bed was really good after the spring mattresses of the last months, the kitchen well equipped and the bathroom clean. The proximity to the train station is also perfect. I can recommend the accommodation.

    Amble up a tree-lined path to a lovingly tended, secluded yard where pinks and blues tumble from flowerbeds beneath lamps and wind chimes. Glass doors bring the outside into the serenely white interior dotted with birds, flowers, and butterflies.
    The space is modern and welcoming. Netflix, Stan and free WiFi is available to guests. Public transport is readily available with a bus stop located next door and the Carseldine train station and bus transit centre only a three minute walk. The small shopping centre across the road includes, hairdresser, chemist, doctor, convenience store, restaurants plus more. Coffee machine is in the studio with an assortment of coffee pods. A variety of tea is also available. The studio includes a toaster oven, induction hotplate, saucepans, electric frying pans, toaster, kettle and cooking utensils. The private garden is a beautiful place to relax, day or night.

Barbara was the perfect host and left us so many things in the studio, Fresh flowers 💐, coffee, milk, butter and so much more. Her gardens are spectacular and you feel like you’re living in a little piece of heaven. The birds came every morning to the feeder and it was a delight to just watch them. She told us some great places to go. We had a rental car but the train station is right across the road so you can get really anywhere.     My recently renovated Quiet and Cosy Unit is located 10kms from the city and 16 km from the Airport. There is on-site parking which is very close to my door with public transport behind my place on the main road. The unit is located in Aspley with a short walk to Australia's largest Westfield Shopping Centre which has everything and more to see. Come along and stay.
    This quiet little villa is located in a very peaceful complex and my place becomes your place to relax and unwind after playing tourist all day. Sorry though my place is not suitable for children and also no smoking. The bedroom has a queen size bed, desk, built-in-robes, ceiling fan, security windows and blinds. The kitchen contains all the bells and whistles for you too cook in if you like. There is only one toilet and the bathroom has a bath and a shower, so if you would like to soak in the tub with bubbles there is plenty of bubble bath. In the lounge, there is a large flat screen television, lounge with two recliner lounges so you can lay back, kick your feet up and watch a dvd or any program on Netflix. There is also a lovely garden to wander around with your drink in hand or you can sit back under the pergola while having lunch or dinner. My place isn't huge but it is very homely, clean and quiet and is perfect singles, couples but sorry not suitable for children or pets.
    Love my neighbourhood and my neighbours as they were very welcoming when I first moved into my place. They keep a watch on me and my place and bring in my garbage bins every week which I really appreciate. I love the fact that I live so close to the big venues such as the Entertainment Centre used for concerts, shows and the really big events. Close by Chermside Shopping Centre which is a huge shopping centre that not only you can shop till you drop but it has bowling, cafes, restaurants, pub and the best part the movies all 10 min walk from house. I am surrounded by two large parks, Marchant Park and Lorikeet Park which are nice for a stroll and a five minute walk to get to and both have bicycle tracks. There is the RSL, Aqauatic Centre and Library all side by side and only 10min walk or 5min drive which is very handy indeed. My locations is in a prime location as it has five shopping centre with restaurants, coffee shops and pubs surrounding it. Not bad I say and love it.
  • Staying with Coral is a unique experience. She is a wealth of Notlage about Brisbane or any thing els you need to know. She will go out of her way to help you and make your stay a very present one. The room is very comfortable and clean. There is off street parking if you need it or public transport not to far away. I can recommend Coral’s place for a quick visit or a longer stay.

We actually had been staying at another Airbnb that got flooded and we ended up going to Corals a night earlier than we originally planned, she accommodated us when she didn’t have to and is just the most wonderful person. I have a tropical peaceful yard with pool, which is perfect for al fresco dining, relaxing with a beer or a spot of sun bathing. 2 min drive to local shops and train station. Trains to the city take around 20 mins. The Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast are both only a one hour drive away.
    Boutique brewery (All Inn) located 15 minutes walk away (open Thur-Sun) Award winning celebrity chef cafe ‘Putia’ is perfect for breakfast, and ‘Clapham Junction’ Bar does great cocktails, modern fusion and vege food. Quiet and leafy suburb. Restaurants, cafes and local shops are a 2 min drive away. Shops include Woolworths, butchers, bakery, chemist, nail bar, post office. Other takeaways include restaurants include Indian, Chinese, Burrito Bar, Burger Urge, pizza, take away and numerous cafes. Australian Catholic University is 3 minutes drive.

    Enjoy North Brisbane and Moreton Bay from a private unit. It’s super roomy; very comfortable for up to two week stays. The unit is self-contained with bathroom, fridge and cooking facilities, washing machine, internet and television. Access is independent so you can come and go as you like. Enjoy your morning cuppa in the private garden, or go for a stroll down to the Brighton foreshore.
    Find the bottle tree, and you've found the place. The private entrance is down the left of the property through white gate. Ample street parking is available for vehicles.
    Great sunrise and sunsets, coffee shop, bakery, local convenience store, doctors, gym, bus stops all within a few hundred metres.

  • Myself and my partner stayed at Callum's place for about a week. We arrived late in the evening and self check-in was straightforward with lights to guide the way! Once we stepped inside, we found the place to be immaculately clean and really spacious too (even more so than the photographs suggest). It was great having both a sofa to relax in and a kitchen table to eat at and to do a bit of work. The kitchen facilities were also good with the plug-in electric stove being a useful touch to allow us to do a little bit of our own cooking. The washing machine was also very much appreciated. Most importantly, we both found the bed to be firm and comfortable. Roadside parking was also very easy right next to the property. I'd happily stay here the next time I'm in the area.

We failed to notice it was a double bed and being older and used to a larger bed we found it too small. I felt the unit was good value. Trish

    We are a young couple staying in a 3 level townhouse which is almost 15 minutes drive from airport and 20-30 minutes drive to city. Public transport is very easily accessible, bus is just steps away-right outside our complex and train station is just 5 minutes away. This new complex is almost brand new, totally secured, with basic amenities like ample of car park, swimming pool. Taigum Village(shopping centre) is just 200 meter away with few restaurants, ALDI, Coles, SUBWAY etc.
    Townhouse is a brand new, with much fresh feel. Complex is secured with CCTV surveillance. Shopping centre is on a walking distance.
    Taigum is a very good suburb, just 14 kms away from city, bit quite and wonderful people around. Our complex is very close to SUBWAY, Coles, ALdi, restaurants, just 200 meters away. Bus stop is just outside complex and train station is 5 minutes away. Close to parks, walking tracks!!!

    We love living in our high set modern Queenslander where we can sit outside and enjoy the breeze on a hot day. The house has reverse cycle aircon. Sam loves his garden and which provides us with bananas, papayas, guavas, citrus as well as vegetables. Rainbow Lorrikeets visit daily to be fed. We're a close 10 minute walk to the sea, cafes, shops and parks. We enjoy biking along the bikeways through the wetlands or along the sea shore.
    It is a ten minute walk or a one stop train ride to the beautiful seashore where you can enjoy a walk to the Shorncliffe pier, enjoy cafes. A ride on a bike on the wetlands or foreshore bikeways is always pleasant. Supermarkets are nearby other shops, cafes, resturants, banks etc. Our home is beside a park in a very pleasant environment.

  • Lorraine and Sam’s place is definitely one of the top choices if you are to stay in Brisbane. The location is convenient that it is a less than 5-minute walk to the train station. While the price is fair and more than reasonable, the house is big, tidy and clean which could guarantee you a comfortable and quality stay. Lorraine and Sam are also very helpful and considerate hosts who always give useful advice regarding attractions to visit and transportation. What’s more, they allow tenants with much flexibility to explore the city while they are always ready to offer help and suggestions. All in all, their flat is one of the most desirable ones that you couldn’t afford missing!

    This is quiet and safe place to stay with friendly and lovely neighbourhood, there is a lot of open base and parkland, there are several parks for BBQ and enjoy the nature near the house, the Queen bedroom with shared bathroom, the use of the kitchen, laundry, backyard and swimming pool is available for you, extra kitchen storage for food can be arranged. thebeautiful outlook from the window is a perfect place to relax. Street parking in front of the house.
    This is very quite and beautiful place of famous Brisbane suburb, like living in the garden with best security. This room with great view, from the window you can see the green lawn and all kinds of flowers. 4 minutes walk to public transport station, 350/351 direct to Aspley Hypermarket and Brisbane CBD Shopping Aspley Hypermarket has Coles, Woolworth, Kmart, Sunlit Asian Grocery Store, Seven eleven, ALDI, KFC, Coffee, Bakery, Asian food/Restaurant, Pharmacy, McDonald’s, Domina’s Pizza, Officeworks and Bank. Westfield Chermside is the biggest shopping centre in Australia, which has almost everything you need.

Prince Charles Hospital is only 2km away. The biggest shopping center Chermside Shopping Center is only 1.9km away, banks, variety stores, cinemas, Kmart,Big W and supermarkets. Close to lots of food and restaurants. You may find anything you want here.

    Newly renovated studio in separate downstairs area of house. You have your own entrance, bed/living room, bathroom, kitchenette, and secluded shady patio. Room is light, airy and spacious, and lovely and cool in summer. Easy access by car with street parking available, or by public transport from Brisbane city and airport (train station is 5 min walk). Just two stops by train to Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Fast food and other takeaways are a 5 min walk or 15 min walk to Sandgate village.
    My home is a traditional highset Queensland house in a quiet street just outside the bayside village of Sandgate. I live on the first floor upstairs; the available accommodation is completely separate and private on the ground floor. It comprises a large, well-furnished bedroom with double bed (and room for a mattress on the floor for the kids if required) and lounge space; drawers and hanging space; private ensuite bathroom with shower, towels & toiletries; kitchenette with tea/coffee facilities (fresh milk and coffee machine), microwave, fridge, crockery and basic cooking utensils. The room has its own separate access and opens out onto a private, covered patio with barbecue, the perfect spot for that evening glass of wine. The patio leads into a secluded, leafy garden. Street parking is available and train/bus are within a five minute walk. Also a five minute walk away are fast food restaurants, Thai and Chinese takeaways, large supermarket, hairdresser, doctors' surgery and other shops. Alternatively, take a 15 minute stroll into Sandgate village (or hop on the train) to explore additional cafes, restaurants and wine bars, and a variety of gift and boutique stores, as well as stroll along the breezy waterfront.
    Sandgate is a lovely little seaside village about 25km north of Brisbane. It is a 15 minute walk away (or one stop on the train) making its shops, restaurants, winebars and breezy waterfront easily accessible. Brisbane itself is only 30 minutes away by car or train, and Redcliffe and Westfield Chermside are both also easily accessible by car or bus. My home is close to major highway access making it an ideal stopover point for East coast travellers; it also means Gold and Sunshine Coasts are both just one hour away, and Brisbane airport just 25 minutes.
